A/N: Note, I am not very knowledgeable on things of Warhammer. I am actively looking and writing a document on what I should know and listing off things that I can use for the story that would make sense with the situation that I made.

The pain was painful, which was a stupid thing to say but a really real thing that I was experiencing. Even with how stupid it sounded, I couldn't really find a way to describe how it felt to be on the cusp of shattering at every moment. And if I did so I'd probably relate it to how a bubble. My body was like a bubble at the moment.

But I didn't blame White. That was my own fault for not planning things and taking things that I should've known into consideration, and these injuries on this form were proof of that. I'd been able to talk down Citrus and Yellow from their initial mixed feelings about White when they returned from their talk with Pink, who was also informed of the situation. I felt bad when she rushed up with teary eyes and quickly shot question after question at me, her tone completely filled with concern for me.

Though what came out of it was that White was no longer allowed to be alone with me in any type of way. That was something that I wasn't able to influence no matter how much I tried it. So I simply relented and agreed with their decision. I'd figure out a way around it later anyways.

Now it was a few days later and I was sitting alone in Blues room while they all were actually trying to figure out what exactly White did in order to almost shatter me. They wanted to stay with me longer just in case anything happened to me but I fervently urged them not to waste time fretting over me.

Now I sat alone. Plotting. The one thing that did come out of this was that it gave me time to actually get things started with the gems that I needed to create.

I looked over at a pink potted plant that Pink left me on the bedside table and smiled. Great to see her powers growing, but I needed to focus on other things.

So with a snap of my fingers, a holographic tablet appeared in my hands and I looked down at it. The first thing I needed to create would be the common soldiers, infantry if you would.

I swiped my finger along the tablet and quickly formed an image of a tall and muscular purple figure, an amethyst. She had long white hair that reached the middle of her back and wore a typical gem suit. Her gem was placed on her shoulder.

As I gazed at the image of the amethyst, I couldn't help but feel a sense of giddiness. Since this would be the first of many, a whole army of gems like her, ready to follow my and the diamond's every command.

But as I reached for the tablet to start the creation process, a sharp pain shot through my gem. I winced, grabbing my chest. This was going to be increasingly annoying with time. Since I imagine regenerating a gem of someone like a diamond after they get injured by another diamond would take a very long time.

I lay back on the bed, taking deep breaths, trying to calm the pain. Very annoying. Yet still, a reminder that I needed to take things more seriously.

I closed my eyes, focusing on my gem. I could feel the energy within me, the energy that would bring the amethyst to life. I channeled that energy, directing it toward my gem, and with a bright flash, she appeared before me.

I sat up with a slight grin, admiring her. She was exactly as I had imagined her, and as close to the source material as I could make her look. I sighed, feeling a sense of accomplishment. This was just the beginning. I needed to make more.

But for now, I simply resigned to focus on this one that I made at the moment, the first of many.

"My diamond," she would immediately say with a salute. I didn't bother making her as much of a sponge as I did with the diamonds and Citrus, instead, I already flooded the information that she needed to know into her. So she was well aware of who I was and who the others were, and what her purpose was.

"What is your name?"

"Amethyst, Facet-00001." She simply responded. To which I smiled, this was good.

"Excellent, now Amethyst. Please help me out of bed," I said while lifting my arms up to her. To anyone else, it would look childish, but I literally could not walk more than a few feet so getting her to carry me would be the most logical thing to do. And the reason I wasn't getting any of the other diamonds to help me was that they would one hundred percent be against the idea of me being up and out of bed, and also because I needed to continue creating the soldiers and different gems without them being aware of it.

Amethyst quickly and efficiently helped me out of bed, being careful not to hurt me in any way. I stood up, using her for support and feeling a sense of relief to finally be standing on my feet again. But I could feel the lack of feeling in my legs grows so I instinctively leaned in further to amethyst, gripping at her suit with both hands, I let out a small grunt before just about falling onto my butt.

Amethyst quickly caught me, supporting my weight as I tried to regain my balance. I took a deep breath, trying to focus on the present moment. This was going to take some time to get used to, but I was determined to keep going.

"Thank you, Amethyst," I said, grateful for her support.

"My pleasure, my diamond," she replied, still holding me steady.

"Amethyst, I need you to keep this between us," I said, looking at her directly. "No one else can know about this, not even the other diamonds. Do you understand?"

"Yes, my diamond," she said with a nod. "I will keep it a secret."

With her help, I slowly made my way to the door, determined to keep moving forward. There was still a lot to do, but I would get there eventually. The army I was planning would be a reality, and with the diamonds none the wiser, I would be one step closer to reaching my ultimate goal of actually building up the diamond authority and then taking the fight to the Chaos Legion.

"Keep following the hall and then stop at the dead end," I said as we stepped out of Blues room and amethyst quietly shut the door behind us. She simply nodded at the command and kept me firmly supported against her as we walked along the hall.

Once we did reach the dead end, I simply raised up a shaky hand and waved away the wall that was in front of us. It was a false wall that I placed in when I first built the building, and behind it, there was one of the warp pads that were commonly seen used by the Crystal gems in the show.

"Step onto the warp pad," I commanded. She wordlessly followed and we stepped onto the warp pad. A small noise sounded from its internals and we were suddenly showered in a bright white light before disappearing from the dead end.

We would appear on another warp pad a good few miles away from where I built up the main area of Homeworld, this warp pad would be right next to the area where I placed the ships that I stole from the intruding Chaos Legion scouts.

"Set me down on that chair over there," I said while pointing over to a chair and desk that I set up while she wasn't looking in that direction, she was too focused on the sight of the two ships that she blinked and nodded.

"Thank you Amethyst," I said as I sat down on the chair.

"Always, my diamond." she simply responded with another diamond salute.

I leaned back into the chair and let out a small sigh before pressing both of my hands onto the arms of the chair and sitting up, while I lifted myself up I crossed my legs and sat down fully on the chair. I waved my hand and let the holographic tablet appear in my hands again, I set down the tablet on the desk and turned to look at amethyst who was looking at the two ships.

As I said before I wasn't quite sure what exactly they were classified as in lore terms or in any of the video games, so I looked back at the tablet and pulled up anything I could find about the Warhammer universe. I clicked on the tab that listed off the Chaos Legion and quickly scrolled down to where the ships were, I noted that there was a bloated amount of text and information before I even got close to the names of the ships. But I shook my head and stopped once I got to the images and ship classifications.

I fingered over one that looked like the smaller one that I stole.

Apparently, it was called a Corsair vessel, a small and fast ship that was basically used for what I originally thought it was supposed to be. A scout ship.

So that was good to know.

Then I scrolled down for a few more moments before I found the one that resembled the larger one that I had here in person. A strike Cruiser. It was like a scout ship but it's used more as a raiding/hit-and-run type of ship.

And from the armor that I stole from them, I learned that they were called the "Emperors Children." A particular branch of the Chaos Legion that liked wearing purple armor. Which I found hilarious as purple was a big contrast to the black and red that I saw with some of the other armor types.

I finally looked away from the tablet and called out amethysts name, she turned and looked down at me with a small raise of her brow, "Yes, My Diamond?" she inquired as I pointed over to the Strike cruiser.

"I need you to walk inside of that ship and start grabbing the armor and weapons that were left on the floor, is that understood?"

She nodded. "It will be done My Diamond." Before turning and briskly walking over to the ramp that led to the interior of the ship. I watched as she disappeared inside of the ship for a few moments and swiftly returned with a single set of the purple space marine armor, it didn't look like it weighed anything with how easily she was carrying it. I only realized how heavy it was when she dropped it down in front of me and turned to go grab more, the impact of the armor caused it to leave a dent in the ground.

"Wow, Okay," I said as I waved a finger and lifted the helmet up into the air, and set it down on the table as I slid the table over to give it room. The table creaked from the added weight but ultimately was able to support it as I turned my chair and looked at it. For what it's worth, I gotta give credit to whoever designed the armor and the little engravings that each had on them. For this specific one, it seemed that there were golden ornate engravings and outlines on the borders of the helmet that pretty effortlessly complimented the purple.

So it was pretty sad that I was going to completely remove all of that craftsmanship and make it look like something that corresponded with my color scheme, black. But I gave the helmet one last look over before tapping at its side with my index finger before all of the paint and the golden engravings disappeared and left me with the white and featureless helmet.

I got to work and started designing what I would like the armor to look like, I completely muted everything outside of what I was doing at the moment and just got to work. I brought up the tablet to the side and left it floating there as I started looking at great-looking color combinations that went well with black. I slid my hand to the air in the left and made another holographic panel appear with the image of the full marine armor in a t-pose, I gave myself a 360-degree view of it so that I knew what it'd look like.

And after a while, I finally tuned back in and scooted the chair back to get a better look at what exactly I'd made. The helmet was the same shape but a different size in correlation to how big amethyst was, and the little eye visors were a deep black color. The rest of the helmet was a dark gray color with shades of black that meshed well with it, I also added in silver-colored engravings and highlights onto its borders. And instead of the golden swirls on the forehead, I made it three individual black diamonds, because I was Black Diamond.

"Cool," I simply said with a grin before waving a finger and lifting it in the air, I twirled it around in front of me and nodded in satisfaction. "Very cool."

And then I sat it back down and spun the chair around, a bit taken aback at the sight of all of the weapons and armor of the soldiers that I stole from were on the floor in different piles of varying heights. I blinked and looked up to see amethyst standing with her hands behind her back staring at me patiently.

"Oh!" I said after a moment of silence. "I didn't expect you to do this so fast, thank you amethyst!" I said with gratitude.

She seemed to beam with pride at the thanks behind the stoic expression she had on her face. That was cute.

"It was no problem, My Diamond."

I simply nodded and pointed to the corsair vessel. "Now could you please do the same to the other ship?" I said with a tilt of my head.

"Of course, My Diamond," she said before turning and briskly walking over to the ship's ramp. Disappearing into the belly of the ship and leaving me with the task of retrofitting the rest of the armor sets that she set down before me.

So while she wasn't here to see me do so, I simply grinned and lifted up a hand and snapped my fingers, which immediately changed the color and size of all of the armor sets that were on the floor in front of me. I laughed before lifting up the rest of the first set that amethyst dropped in front of me and also set them down on the table, it creaked even further from the strain but didn't break.

I swiveled around and watched as amethyst dropped off more of the weapons and armor before swiftly turning and walking back towards the ship turning my attention towards the pile of weapons. I looked at the assortment of large and very powerful-looking weapons before focusing in on one specific weapon that made me let out something that sounded like a giggle and a chuckle. I lifted my hand and lifted a large and long-looking weapon that I could only describe as a handheld cannon, but it looked like you would need two hands to hold it. And a massive amount of upper body strength to even carry it.

So I just snapped another desk into existence, but this one was made of metal and had thicker legs than the one I had in front of me. I set down the weapon on the table and pulled up another holographic tablet, I looked over the different weapons and finally landed on the one that made me nod.

"Lascannon," I said with a hum. That was an interesting name.

"very interesting…." I said while turning away from the weapon and looking over to see amethyst standing there with another patient expression on her face. But I could see that she was looking at the armor and the weapons with interest behind the stoic expression that she kept on her face.

"What do you think?" I said while waving her over. Watching as she perked up and quickly stepped over to me, I rolled the chair to the side so that she could stand and look at the retrofitted armor. She was silent as her eyes scanned along the armor.

"I would expect nothing less from my lustrous and magnificent Diamond," she said with a small smile as she turned and looked down at me. I rubbed the back of my head at the compliments that she made about me like it was second nature, it was still kind of weird that she would be referring to me in those terms for the foreseeable future. So would all of the other gems in homeworld that weren't close to me.

"Well great, now why don't you try it on?" I said with a small smile on my face. She paused and looked down at me in confusion. Before I reassured her and pointed a hand to the armor. "And yes, I am serious."

"Yes, I will do it immediately," she said after the fact and grabbed one of the boots with her hand, effortlessly lifting it up and twisting it around in her hand. She seemed a bit confused about how to start putting it on and I quickly realized my mistake, it would need a third-party source to actually help put on the armor. So I raised a hand and gently lifted the boot out of her grasp, she looked down at me inquisitively.

"I'll help you, just stand still," I said. She nodded and stood still with her arms and legs spread out.

And after a few moments of making her lift and move her limbs around in order for me to slide the pieces of the armor onto her body, I finally lifted the helmet over to her armored form and let her grab it out of the air and look down at it. I sat there with both of my hands clasped together as she looked down at the helmet before twisting it around in her hands and finally lifting it up and sliding it down onto her head. There was a small hiss of air as it sealed shut and the eye sockets glowed a bright red color as she twisted her head around and looked around at our surroundings.

The armor added onto her height and sheer bulkiness. But it also added onto the strength and her capability. I was giddy with wonder as I watched her look down at me.

"How does it feel?" I said with interest.

"Comfortable," she said with a nod. "I feel stronger and just as flexible as I would be without the armor."

"Awesome, that's awesome," I said as she stepped away from the table and the armor and from me before lifting up her arms in an offensive pose and started throwing out punches that were so fast that they blurred. She was dodging and weaving out of the way of an imaginary opponent as she kept throwing out punches and kicks that were at lightning speeds.

And it didn't even seem like she broke a sweat as she finished shadowboxing and turned to me, lifting up and taking off her helmet she smiled over at me. And I simply grinned back at her.

This would be good.
