Alan was having a bit of a 'blast' as many would call it- truth be told, he was really malding at the fact that preparing a 'hellhound party' was proving to be far more complicated than anyone could have expected.

He went out with Morgan on tow, the noble bird having some cultural shock with the human due to a very dreadful discovery: Hellhound parties tended to go sexual if made private and without some proper security. It was nice that he managed to find some assistance in the form of Artemis, the older hellhound that knew of Loona's family and... she was equally unsure if this was a good idea.

Hellhound parties tended to be very wild and it was usually meant to be the kind of grouping meant to be done with fellow hellhounds you were familiar with. A degree of familiarity was needed out of cultural root within the hellhound mindset, but with Loona having close to no connection with any other hellhound, this was not going to work well.

What could be done was that Loona could get something similar to a hellhound party. It wouldn't be a hellhound-only party as a traditional one would have, but get some respectable sinners and hellhounds that were tame when it came to this sort of celebrations.

As much as Alan would have wanted to give Loona a proper one, he knew better than take a gamble that would ultimately hurt the girl in the long-run. No, it was best to be quite pragmatic about this for the sake of sparing everyone from numerous headaches.

It was already a gamble with how Stolas and Stella were going to react to a party that wasn't one of their fancy noble-like ones, but if it was indeed a moderate one with no alcohol and drugs, then that should be easier to sell to them. Still, with that in mind, another issue came up in that regard:

Where in hell should the party be set?

Hell was big after all, but none of the Goetia's properties could be used for this event. It would be seen as 'scandalous' by many family members, and could become a reason for Stolas to shoot this one down. So, for the sake of having this happen, it had to be a place where it would be safe to do it without it being a public event.

There were a few interesting places, but one in particular in the Pride Ring got our attention. It was an old unused warehouse that was sold at a fairly cheap price. Taxation there was also fairly acceptable, which made the lack of potential customers really perplexing at first but... then that's where Alan realized the owner was the Radio Demon.

While Overlords were not exactly something Alan himself had much time to either study in depth or encounter in important parties, the generic info he had on these people was rather dreadful. The Radio Demon himself was quite the unique element in that list of deviants, mad sinners, and other monsters of different kind.

He was a known cannibal, a sadistic lone wolf that tended to prey on the closest source of 'amusement' and also had a bit of a radio-related hobby which tended to broadcast his deeds. That was not the worst Hell had to offer, but it was the kind of individual one had to treat with care and caution.

After reaching our destination, which was the Radio Demon's manor, we managed to get to his living room to have a proper conversation on the potential renting of the warehouse. The Radio Demon was quite polite, one of the worst traits a murderous demon could show to someone else.

While it may not seem much, the truth behind politeness within someone that had been around for several decades and that had carved a bloody name out of numerous victims was enough to express how this individual, this good-behaving fellow, could easily switch between being a diplomatic figure to being a bloodthirsty monster if needed.

Sitting on his chair, the demon studied the contract I had prepared for the occasion. I had to rely on a few favors I had on the Goetia Family's official firm to produce a 'Lilith-tier' contract, which was perhaps one of the best elaborated and most cautious piece of paper one could be able to get through which made for quite the expensive legal document to get done. It was quite powerful in a legal court and it would be enough to warrant Lucifer's own attention if anyone decided to break it.

Alastor's smile barely changed through the entire interaction and his tone was surprisingly corteous. It was perhaps the fact Morgan was there to further reinforce the fact it was a Goetia business. As much as many Overlords would snort in the face of 'second-handed Goetic offers', the presence of a noble made the overall claim far more difficult to ignore.

And Alastor was one of those rare individuals that actually needed that support. As a lone wolf stacking against the renown 'Three Vs' that were ruling a big slice of this Ring, Alastor's individual turf was enough to put many in a bad spot. He was a powerful demon, but he was alone and that played both well in the hands of a monster like him, but terribly in the hands of what tactician he showed himself being through his past actions.

I expected a push-back. Something just made me tense around Alastor despite his enforced politeness, but I couldn't exactly pinpoint the why or how it got to me. What I knew was that he found me an interesting fellow. Morgan got a praise, which was enough to put her at a neutral ease- but the way he paid me attention felt outright confusing and... soothing.

Something about his appearance, the human features that he retained at the very least, felt oddly familiar. I had seen a face like that before but... I couldn't remember when. This very question would keep on festering in my mind as his smile, that hideous lie that he was keen to show to many, felt oddly more genuine of a happy display compared to other times he showed it.

Morgan may have not picked this up from my attitude, but while the deal went through I just couldn't help but remain shaken by this ordeal. I had to speak with Stolas about this and... hopefully, this was just a case of silly fright.
