Back to Normal
After Maghelena, left everything went back to normal, everything but Edward and I. Even with last night's semi encounter our relationship was cold because of all the stress I was in. Edward and I would have to go to our house in New Hampshire soon, I had a wedding gift for him I did not care if he did not have anything to give me back. I was dying to show him, I worked hard so that he wouldn't find out.
An hour after Maghelena left Alice came down the stairs excited.
"Bella, Edward there is something we want to give you, one of our wedding presents" she said.
"We worked on it together as a family right after you left for Isle Esme" she added.
Alice looked at everybody's faces then she turned back to Edward and I.
"Where is it Alice?" I asked curious now.
"Come on Gabriella, Edward" Alice said taking my hand I dragged Edward along.
We were outside, the sun had just set, Edward held my hand tight. We were near the river now, we all passed over the water in a blur, after that we walked on a stone path, the path led to a small garden.
I looked up and right there in front of me, was the most beautiful house ever well it wasn't a house it was more like a cottage. It looked like something right out of a fairytale.
"Surprise!" Alice exclaimed waiting for our reaction.
"WOW! This is unbelievable so magical" I told Alice she smiled.
"Is really beautiful, Alice" Edward said "you guys didn't have to do it; we already have a house" he added.
"Yes, but not one close enough" Alice told her favorite brother.
"Its great thanks Alice, thanks everyone" I said "oh no need to thank us, we all worked on it, it's a family gift" Esme said.
I still couldn't believe it; it was too precious.
"Well I'll go tell the others that you liked it, you stay here and enjoy" Alice said she, then she and Esme left the way we came.
Edward took me on his arms again he opened the door and walked us in through the threshold, the living room was small but cozy and warm; the walls were painted beige. It even had a fireplace with a beautiful cherry redwood mantelpiece. The sofa and chairs where white with red cushions, the coffee table was made of oak but stained with the same color as the mantle, it had a flower vase filled with white roses.
The ceiling had a chandelier that completed the space, it also had bookshelves and a seat by the window; I also saw a plasma and sound system. The walls from the whole house had pictures or paintings on them, the main picture in the fireplace was hanging in the wall above the mantel it was one of the pictures of our wedding the most beautiful one of all. The house also had a small kitchen and dining room, it was enough to keep up appearances who knows, maybe one day we'll need it.
Edward then took me into a small hall it had four doors but he just kept walking and entered in the room that was at the end of it.
Our bedroom was big and it also had big French windows like the Cullen's main house, the iron bed was risen by a low platform, the sheets where white and gold, the bed had red pillows on it too. Nightstands at each side of the bed a lamp on each. And right in front of the bed another fireplace, this one had the fire burning slow. It had a mantle that only had a flower vase and another picture of us from the wedding, it was one of the ones taken during our first dance.
One of the windows opened like a door into what looked like the rest of the garden this side of the house led to the river. The room had two doors, one the bathroom and the other one the closet.
There was a chaise lounge seat that matched the set from the living room. The curtains were red and the whole room was carpeted in a beige carpet that matched the walls. Edward then set me on my feet and grabbed my waist, I locked my hands at his neck and pushed myself forward.
"I love you" I murmured an inch of his lips
"Me too" he whispered back and then he kissed me.
In just a few seconds Edward lost control, he was kissing me forcibly, our clothes where on the floor, we'd turned them into scraps of fabric. Grabbing me by my supple bottom, he laid me on the bed; The problems were over now, so we were ourselves again.
I parted my lips to let him in, we kissed fervently and with desire. Edward got lost in my body, and I lost track of the world the only thing that mattered to me was Edward, and being in his arms. His lips moved downwards to my neck, he licked the mark he'd made there and brushed the underside of my breasts with his thumbs.
His lips came in contact with my nipples, I moaned at the sensation. He suckled on them to the point of pain, it was a sweet torture. Edward stilled my movements with both of his hands, pining me to the bed by my hips. The sounds coming out of me were animalistic as he continued his ministrations to my flesh, more and more arousal seeping out of my folds. Edward was humming in my ear; I was drawing patterns with my fingers on his chest. I didn't know what time it was I just knew that I was with Edward on our new second house and that I loved him so much.
After a while Edward spoke "love" Edward said.
"Yes" I answered
"The sooner we leave the sooner we will be in New Hampshire" he said. He helped me up, then he gave me a card that was hanging in the doors of the closet, I read it out loud.
"Hope that you like it, as much I loved making it for you, enjoy! loves you a lot; Mary Alice"
I opened the door and there it was, my own walk in closet.
"Alice is nuts! We're not staying here permanently, why are there so many clothes" I exclaimed.
Edward held my hand while we entered, this closet was better stocked than any boutique in the world.
"What should I wear to please my dearest sister in law?" I asked to myself, Edward chuckled.
There where garments on bags and lots of dresses I had six rows of shoes. I opened one of the garment bags and loved the outfit so I took it and put it on. It was a white blouse with black pants, I found a pair of black platforms so I put them on also.
Edward was on his side of the closet and he was also dressed with a white button shirt and black pants he wore a jacket on top.
"We match" I said "Alice" we both exclaimed then after ordering the room we went out.
"Can I at least see the rest of the house before we go?" I asked Edward.
"Yes, of course love" he said.
We were on the hall again, I opened one of the doors this was a small bedroom with a twin bed and a night stand it had a small closet and a perfect view of the forest.
The door next to that one was the bathroom it was well proportioned and it had it all. I entered in the last room this one was a bit bigger than the other, it had a full bed, a night stand and a chair. this room also had view and its own closet.
We went out then to the main house, when we reached the river I jumped Edward behind me, he then took my hand. We entered the main house,
"Good morning" Alice greeted
"Thanks again for the house it's magnificent" I said smiling at her.
"So that means that it still there?" Emmett asked wiggling his eyebrows.
"What the hell are you talking about?" I asked
"Of course it stills there" I told him
"I can believe that it survived" Emmett added Rosalie laughed.
"What?" I asked again
"What is so funny?" I said
"I can't believe that it's still standing after what you did last night" Emmett was saying.
"My question is what where you doing exactly, discussing the national debate?" Emmett said humor on his tone, Rosalie laughed harder and I was starting to get annoyed.
I thought about what he said and then the answer came to me.
"Oh…" I exclaimed
"Now you get it?" Rosalie asked still laughing holding her sides.
"Stop antagonizing them!" Esme chastised although she had a smile on her lips, Carlisle was behind her laughing too.
"But how?" I started
"How did you hear us Emmett? Don't you know that eavesdropping is rude?" I told him.
"I wasn't eavesdropping you guys where the ones making all the noise" he said pleased.
"Jerk!" I muttered "I heard that too" Emmett finished
"Emmett you realize that you owe me $1,000?" Jasper said
"Why?" I asked
"Emmett, bet that you would smash the house, I bet that It wouldn't have a scratch" Jasper added.
"Well then he will have to pay because the house is intact" Edward said smiling, I struck my tongue at Emmett like a five-year-old.
"I ordered everything in your suitcases again so you can leave" Alice said.
"I'll go get them" Jasper said smiling as he pocketed the money he had just earned at our expense.
"I'm going to miss you so much" Esme said hugging me.
Carlisle was hugging Edward, then everyone else stopped laughing for a moment and said goodbye.
"Love you, thanks for everything" I said to Alice as she placed our bags and some extra boxes in Edwards car. They had taken my car and the rest of our stuff to our house while we were in Brazil. The house was painted and some of the furniture had been assembled, all Edward and I had to do was decorate it and put everything we had gotten at the wedding away. We also needed to send out the thank you cards to everyone.
"Is everything okay Alice?" I asked before getting in the car.
"Well yes it is a bit odd, but I think that Jasper and I will be fine and back to normal in a few weeks" she said.
"He is doing his best to win me back" Alice added.
"Well then good luck and thanks" I told her.
I then entered in the car, Edward drove away. He held my hand all forty-seven hours as we drove away from Washington and into our new life in New Hampshire.
