Business Party with Slashing Encounter
"Oh man, I can't believe we shopped this much…" Masans exclaimed as the group sat down together at a resting area with the couches and chairs.
"You get this tired from simply shopping then you'll need to work more on your stamina to keep up with work." Sasuke lectured which earns a little glare from Masane.
"Shut up, you could at least loosen up with the stone face." Masane talked back.
"Now, now, we should all enjoy the time we have together since we've been working so hard at the company and we deserve this break." Hinata stated smiling.
"It's also great that my mom made so many so friends in the Douij Group, I was really worried that she would become too weird for anyone and would end up being alone." Rihiki sighed of relief.
"Now that's just hurtful to your mother!" Masane exclaimed.
"Well, I'm looking forward to wearing the apron that Tsunade suggested. It was really cute." Rihiko smiled.
"I'm not sure of an apron kind of woman, but I figured a special little cook like you would want one when you're in the kitchen." Tsunade blushed a bit from the compliment of her choosing.
"So, now that we're done with the shopping, what do you feel like doing after this?" Ino asked.
"What's a good question. We already got the clothes and some daily needs." Sakura tried to think of something.
Just as Sasuke was about to suggest on going home right now and just get this day done with, he senses a presence nearby, but he can tell this one isn't threatening as the Cloneblades nor the X-cons though his gut was telling him that this presence is watching him waiting for something.
"Say Sasuke, do you have any ideas of where to do next?" Rihoko asked, but he stood up.
"I'm going for a walk, hanging out with you girls is too much to handle." Sasuke decided as he walks away.
"O-Okay, we'll be sure to keep your stuff safe." Hinata said.
"Sheesh, what got him in such a mood?" Masane asked, yet she couldn't help but feel that's a little hot of him.
"Sasuke rarely does things like going out to the mall with friends when he has been working so hard with his Uncle, trying his best to be strong so that he would even have feel weak again." Tsunade explained.
"I remember about an accident he mentioned when we first met him, could that be why he's serious like that?" Rihoko asked.
"Something like that, but that's up to Sasuke if he wants to talk about it or not." Tsunade said.
Sasuke continues walking until he found a private area of the mall where no one goes to and completely quiet, a perfect place for a little meeting with that presence of that has been following him since he left the girls as he doesn't want them in this as well.
"You can come out now, Yusuke. I know you've been following me all this time." Sasuke called out.
"Damn, and here I was hoping to be sneaky like a ninja." Yusuke revealed himself with a grin.
"Believe it or not, I come from a family of ninjas and I know more about stealth than a wannabe cameraman like yourself." Sasuke said as he leans against the wall.
"Hey now, I'm working my butt off as a freelance journalist and when there's a major scoop that needs to be found out, I go to it." Yusuke stated.
"And what could you want a scoop from me? To learn more about my uncle and the Douji Group?" Sasuke asked, but he already knew what Yusuke wanted.
"Maybe later, right now I want to focus more on… you and Melony." Yusuke smirked.
"Melony?" Sasuke confused of that name.
"It's a nickname for Masane that I'm gonna be calling her from now on, got it from her big boobs." Yusuke explained, and a punch hits the wall very close to his head by Sasuke.
"If you don't tell me what you want then you'll be coming home with bandages around your head." Sasuke threatened as he does not want to play any games right now.
"Easy, easy, I am here on serious business like with these photos." Yusuke showed the photos.
Sasuke was shocked of seeing the two pictures in the journalist's hand with one being Masane and the other being himself, and what's more shocking is that both of them are when they were in their Witchblade and Kingblade form.
"(From the looks of the background, that was when Masane first transformed which means Yusuke was closer to the scene than I thought.)" Sasuke thought figured out from the pictures.
"Why are you showing me these? I don't have any clue of who or what those people are." Sasuke lied, playing it cool and hope to get Yusuke away.
"Come on, you must've seen those monsters around. When we saw each other at the parking lot with Melony, I noticed that it was a brand-new car meaning something must've happened to the last one." Yusuke mentioned.
"(So, he noticed that.)" Sasuke thought narrowed his eyes.
"I decided to do a little digging to know what happened to your last car, imagine my surprise when I found a giant hole from the top." Yusuke revealed.
"And it looks like it was also done form the inside." Yusuke mentioned.
(Somewhere in Neo Tokyo)
A bus carrying several people is driving through a street until suddenly an X-con came down from under the bridge and people were screaming.
The bus stop with the doors open, only one man walk out with a freezing mist coming out and the inside of the bus shows everything appears to be frozen and not a single people were left.
(Back with Yusuke and Sasuke)
Sasuke continues to just glare at Yusuke that made the older man scared, but he wouldn't back down from this yet.
"Come on, Sasuke, throw me a bone here." Yusuke said with a playful attitude.
"And what makes you I would even know anything about these monsters from that night?" Sasuke stated.
"For all we know, I happened to be there at the wrong place at the wrong time when I was showing Masane around." Sasuke pointed out his alibi.
"Oh yeah, Melony was there too. Maybe she would be more cooperative in answering my questions." Yusuke grinned.
"That girl is an idiot, she wouldn't know anything better than telling the difference between a manhole to the sewers and a phone one." Sasuke stated.
Back with Masane, she suddenly let out a squeeze thought she isn't even feeling sick at all.
"But I can tell that you've been trying to find out more these "monsters" if you like to keep calling them since that night." Sasuke said.
"Damn straight, I know these things must be connected to what's been going on with the sudden murders around the city and I'm gonna be the first one to crack this case." Yusuke determined.
Sasuke can tell that Yusuke isn't going to back down from this mystery as he would eventually find out about the X-cons and the Cloneblades, that would also mean that Yusuke would eventually find out Witchblade and Kingblade too.
"Then you're wasting your time because I'm not in any connection to those cases." Sasuke walked off.
"Hey man, don't think I won't stop asking you." Yusuke stated.
"Then you better start looking into NswF Headquarters for the truth." Sasuke advised.
"Huh, NswF Headquarters?" Yusuke puzzled of the company, but then he starts to remember that some of the victims were employees of the NswF company.
"I know the bastard leading that place is the one with the darkest secrets, I know because I was a prisoner of that place." Sasuke said clutching his fist and his Kingblade glow slightly which was unnoticed to Yusuke.
"If you really want to know, then start with that hellhole." Sasuke advised as he continues walking away.
Yusuke couldn't stop wondering if what Sasuke was saying about the NswF Headquarters being a "hellhole" as he put it, it was weird that one of the well-known company has some dark secrets though it wouldn't surprise him that a company like that had a mask to hide their true intention.
It was then that Yusuke has made his decision of what to do next.
(Later, with Reiji and Hiroki)
Reiji is seen in the car with Hiroki after another meeting is finish, and the director is heading off to a party.
So Director, why are you attending this charity function? Typically, Douji doesn't send you to these kinds of events." Hiroki asked.
"I pulled a short draw at the director's meeting today." Reiji answered, can't believe he agreed to go to this party when he's not much of a party man.
"I imagine you'll be quite popular with the female stockholders." Hiroki teased.
"Nonsense." Reiji believed that he is in no mood to looking for any romance.
Reiji looks out the window wondering if it's too late to ask his nephew Sasuke to go to that charity party in his place.
(With Reina)
"I see, so you made contact with the Witchblade's new bearer, anything else?" Tatsuoki asked.
Reina is sitting at her desk in her office making a call to her father about how she and her ream were able to meet with the Kingblade and the Witchblade bearers.
"As expected, the Douji Group is helping the Witchblade and the Kingblade together making it harder for us to get of what you requested." Reina informed.
Reina can hear a soft sigh knowing that Tatsuoki is not happy about this news almost like life is playing a cruel joke on him or something.
"Tell me about the woman. Is she capable of handling herself?" Tatsuoki asked curious.
"At first, she didn't seem much until she fought Shiori and Anko as she was able hold her own against them and even knocked them down." Reina informed.
"HEY! That bitch had a lucky shot, she would've been dead in no time!" Anko shouted from the other side of the office.
"Silence, you snake! Reina is on the phone right now." Konan scolded Anko with a smack on the head.
"Anko is wanting to have a rematch with the Witchblade soon." Reina added with a small smile.
"No doubt from the shout, and I take it the Kingblade is still formidable as ever." Tatsuoki guessed of what Reina and Konan had with facing Sasuke.
"I'm afraid we were unable to take him down, his strength is greater even if the four of us together wouldn't change much of a difference." Reina admitted with one hand on her chest.
"How unfortunate, that Sasuke boy sure is becoming troublesome for the past three years trying to get in my way with the other Cloneblades I tried to send only for them to never come back." Tatsuoki recalled those events.
"Yes, it's sadden us that our sisters are gone though we're not entirely sure if Sasuke was the one who killed them or those foolish X-cons catching them off guard." Reina stated.
"Perhaps, but you can't be too careful with that boy when he has the very thing that should've been mine." Tatsuoki sounded angry from the phone but calms himself down.
(NswF Main Office)
"Forgive me, it would seem I'm getting emotional." Tatsuoki said.
"By the way, I heard another one of our sisters is missing. Do you think it was an X-con again?" Reina asked.
"Probably so, but Douji is claiming that the X-cons escape. Regardless, I want you to continue your research on the Witchblade and Kingblade, do what you have to." Tatsuoki ordered.
"As you wish, father." Reina said before hanging up.
Tatsuoki handed the phone to Nora as the man of the company looks out the window remembering how Sasuk was able to escape his clutches three years ago, but he will still continue his plan of becoming the perfect human being of the whole world and nothing was going to stop him.
But he decided to try not thinking about his ultimate plan for now and then he remembers something.
"Isn't there a party tonight? Some charity functions?" Tatsuoki remembered hearing about that.
"Yes sir, but you are not schedule to attend." Nora answered.
"No. I will make an appearance." Tatsuoki decided with a smile.
(Nighttime, Function)
"I can't believe I'm here." Reiji exclaimed with a straight face.
"Well sir, it wouldn't be helped that Satsuk turn down the invite." Hiroki said.
Reiji looks around seeing this party is the same and boring types as any other from the past parties he used to attend, he can only hope that he will be able to endure this visit for one night.
"Mr. Takayama!" An older woman in a purpose dress surprised with a smile.
"We never see you at these functions anymore." The purple dress woman greeted.
"Hello ma'am, it's been a while." Reiji greeted.
"I'd like to introduce you to a friend of mine." The purple dress woman gestured to a man standing behind her.
"The President of SP Pharmaceuticals, he's created a new hair regrowth pill that's bound to double his stocks." The purple dress woman said.
This kind of talk is why Reiji doesn't like coming to functions as his left eye twitches and Hiroki laughs softly to enjoy this.
(Masane's Apartment Home)
Masane is seen laying on the bed next to her sleeping daughter while Sasuke and the other Cloneblades are watching this adorable scene.
"It's really nice to see Masane is being such a great mom." Sakura smiled.
"Kind of makes me jealous, maybe I should start thinking about being a mom." Ino said.
"Hold on, I think you need to slow down on that." Tsunade chuckled.
"And you live right next to them, how wonderful." Hinata said to Sasuke.
"They're manageable." Sasuke commented.
But then Sasuke and Masane's emergency phones went off as both of them answer the call at the same time.
"This is Ota, we've just spotted an X-Con." Ota informed.
"We're on our way." Sasuke said before hanging up.
"Come on, Masane." Sasuke said as they walk out.
"Hey, would you girls mind looking after Rihoko for the night? I know it's a lot of ask and you'd probably want to go back to your own homes right now." Masane asked the Cloneblades.
"Actually, we were hoping you could let us coming along." Tsunade suggested.
"Really?" Masane surprised.
"That's right, you'll want to see how we also take care of X-Cons in times like this. You'll need to know our strength we can work well together in the near future." Tsunade explained her reason as she looks over to Sasuke.
"You three can come, just be sure to help finish the X-Con quick." Sasuke agreed to let them come.
"Oh yeah, you're about to see how we do things in a fight!" Ino excited.
"We should be careful just in case." Hinata advised.
Just as Sasuke drove his car with his Blade women heading to where the X-Con is, Yusuke was laying in his own car trying to think of a way to get into the NswF Headquarters, but when he saw Sasuke driving off, he decided to see where the kid is heading.
(Back at the Boat Party)
Reiji is seen talking with some other people, few of them to be pretty looking women who wants to see how the handsome CEO of the Douji Group company is up close while Hiroki is glad to see his boss is at least loosing up a little.
"Mr. Takayama?" Nora asked as she walks up getting the man's attention.
"Mr. Furumizu would like to see you. If you like, you have to follow me and" Nora was offering to Reiji about seeing Tatsuoki, but Hiroki steps in.
"I'm his assistance, you'll need to schedule that with me." Hiroki said, knowing that Reiji isn't fond of Tatsuoki at the moment, or ever.
"Excuse me?" Nora knew her boss would want to speak with Reiji as soon as possible, but she can't exactly force him to come without revealing her Cloneblade power.
"I'll speak with him." Reiji said.
"Director?" Hiroki surprised.
Reiji knew this may happen sooner or later, the bastard probably wants to know about the Witchblade and the Kingblade as he wants to give that old man a piece of his mind.
KO a new chapter is done and hope you all enjoy it!
Reiji has gone a party by his own company to at least make an appearance which was boring until he was invited to meet with Tatsuoki for a private talk, let's hope Sasuke doesn't find out about this while he and the girls are out hunting X-Cons in the night.
