"Ravenhearst? I thought that place burned to the ground" Adam said as Willow shrugged. "I guess some parts are still habitable and useful for weddings" she said "Im supposed to be driving to Philly tomorrow to see him but im so mad at him" "You know you dont have to go through with it Wills. You can still call it off" Adam replied as Willow shook her head. "I cant. Its too late to call off. I just needed some time" she said as Adam asked "And what about Matt?" "He wont talk to me. I know hes upset, so am I" Willow replied. "I didnt mean to fall for Hayth, it just happened. I was battling my feelings for him and Matt for a long time" "You know Matt loves you. He just needs time to get over you" Adam said as Willow replied "What if i dont want him to get over me? What if I dont want to get over him" "Wills, what are you saying?" Adam asked as Willow half laughed "Is it not obvious? Im still in love with Matt"
"Im sorry for putting you in this position Ads. But youre the only one who knows about Matt and I" Willow said a few hours later as Adam stood up to go home. "Willow, its ok. You're my step daughter, Matts my best friend, Im always going to be here for both of you" he replied as he hugged her. "Thanks Ads. Do you and mom have any plans for tomorrow?" Willow asked as Adam shook his head "Not that i know of. Why?" he asked as Willow replied "I might see if her and Trish want to come help me find a dress" "Do you want me to tell Matt any of this?" Adam asked as Willow shook her head. "It has to come from me Adam. Do you know when he gets back?" she asked as Adam replied "Saturday i think. I'll find out and do you want me to set up a meeting between you two?" "I'll be in Philly. I need to talk to Hayth about things" she said as she sighed "I was so sure of things when we started but now..." "Look, go talk to Haytham. Sort wedding issues with him. I'll get Matt to come see you when youre back" Adam said as he headed out of the door, leaving Willow wondering if she was doing the right thing.
"Thanks for coming today. I really need to clear my head and focus on something" Willow said as Amy and Trish joined her in the local coffee shop the following day. "Wills, whats going on? Youve been on edge since New Year" Amy asked as Willow sighed and told them everything that she and Adam had talked about the previous night, except for Matt. "So let me get this straight, Haytham booked the wedding for February and the venue is Ravenhearst?" Trish asked as Willow nodded. "So i need to find a dress today and hopefully when i see him at the weekend, try to get something changed" she said as Amy asked "What kind of dress are you after? Do you have any ideas?" "Only that i dont want a white dress. Maybe a pastel colour or cream" Willow replied as the three women sipped their coffees and headed towards the first store.
"I think this could be the one" Willow said as she cane out of the dressing room of the fourth wedding boutique of the day. She was wearing a pale cream off the shoulder dress, with a lace bodice and a full, shimmering layered skirt. "WOW. Wills you look stunning" Trish said as Willow stood on the podium. "Wills its very you. Its beautiful" Amy added, sensing something wasnt right with her daughter. "I mean its between this one and the one with the feathered skirt" Willow sighed as Amy asked "Wills, whats wrong? Somethings been bothering you all day" "I guess i just wasnt expecting to be doing all this again so soon after being divorced. Let alone just three months after meeting him" Willow replied as she looked at herself in the mirror. "You know you dont have to go through with it?" Amy said as Trish added "Ames is right Wills, does Haytham even respect you? Did he even consider your feelings when he booked Ravenhearst?" "I dont know Trish. I guess i just need to get to Philly this weekend and talk to him" Willow replied. "I think its this one. The more i look at it, the more i feel more comfortable" she added, before going back to change out of the dress, leaving Amy and Trish worried about her.
"Ames im worried about her. I know weve seen her try to deal with things on her own before but this, this is like a total shut down. She barely listened to us today." Trish said as she and Amy drove back to Cameron together. "I know Trish. Theres something else going on with her. Has been for a while but she wont open up to me or even Elly or Brooke" Amy replied as Trish sighed. "What about Matt? Would she open up to him?" "I doubt it. I mean they were getting on so well up until she met Haytham, then things turned sour" Amy replied. "You dont think they were... You know... sleeping together?" Trish asked as Amy shook her head. "No way. Willow would have said something" "Not if she didnt want us to know" Trish said as she pulled up to Amys place. "I dont know Trish, i just know that something really isnt right with her" Amy said as she got out of the car, Nevah waving excitedly at her.
"Wills? Are you ok? Youve barely said anything all night" Haytham asked as they sat down to dinner a few days later. "No im not actually" Willow replied coldly. "Im so mad at you for booking the wedding and venue without asking. Ive been struggling to process it all week" she added as Haytham asked "Are you having doubts about us? About me? Because you were the one who persued me" "I dont... i dont know Hayth. I guess hearing the name Ravenhearst after all these years, it triggered bad memories of a different life" she said. "Im sorry Willow, but i couldnt resist it. The date is a very special one for me and youre too beautiful to not be with. I needed to marry you as soon as possible" Haytham replied as Willow sighed. "Is it Matt? Are you still in love with him? Is that why youre hesitating?" Haytham asked as Willow shook her head. "No, it has nothing to do with him. This is all on me. Its you i want, not him" she said, as she took a deep breath. "Matt and I will forever be bonded. We have two girls together and thats it. Nothing more is ever going to happen between me and him" "I trust you Willow, i do. Its just..." Haytham replied as Willow cut him off, knowing what he was going to say. "You dont trust him? Hayth, do you know how many times ive heard it before?" she asked as Haytham shook his head. "Its you that i want Hayth. I love you, but you have to realise that if we're going to be making big decisions, like the wedding, we need to make them together. We're a team" "I love you too Willow. Im sorry about my impulsiveness on the wedding. Can you forgive me?" He asked as Willow nodded, ignoring all the red flags Haytham was starting to show.
Haytham awoke first the next morning. Staring at the young redhead sleeping next to him and smiled. He glanced at his cell and responded to various emails and texts. "Morning sleepy" he said as Willow awoke next to him, "What time is it Haytham?" she asked as she moved in closer to him. "A little after 830" Haytham replied as he put his arms around her. "Im sorry about the wedding stuff. Ive never done it before, i dont know what im doing" he said, half apologizing. "Its ok Haytham. I was the same when i married Matt. We spent so long planning everything, that when it came down to it, Elly got us married in Vegas" Willow replied, as sense of sadness as she remembered the happiest day of her life. "So you never did tell me why you got married so quickly? What changed?" Haytham asked as Willow sighed, hoping to never have to retell this part of her life. "Victor happened. Hes my abusive ex that we talked about in therapy. He swore he'd leave Jas and my family alone, the beatings would stop if i married him on Raw, in Vegas on Christmas eve. Elly was like no way and she and Brooke along with their partners got myself and Matt to a little chapel and married us in secret" "I remember you saying he was violent and manipulative, but thats blackmail" Haytham replied as he held his fiance. "Why dont we do something fun today? No more wedding talk. We could go to the Barnes Foundation or the Magic Gardens" he suggested as Willow nodded. "Butcher & Singer for dinner?" he added as Willow smiled and replied "Sounds like a plan. But right now, i want to have some fun in this room"
"So when will i see you next? Before the wedding?" Willow asked as Haytham helped lift her travel case into her car. "I'm going to try and get to you the weekend after next. Maybe we could have a small get together as our bachelor and bachelorette. Im sorry for hitting you last night during sex. I guess i got a bit carried away with the roughness" Haytham replied as Willow kissed him "I love you Willow, call or text me when you get home ok" he said as Willow nodded, before getting into her car. "You know i will. I love you too Hayth, and dont worry about the face. Ive been through worse" she replied as Haytham said "Ive been thinking about reducing my hours at the hospital after we're married. I'd move in with you in Vass, travelling for work three, maybe four days a week. If thats suitable and you agree to it" "It sounds great Hayth. Can we talk more about it when i see you next?" She asked as Haytham nodded. "I'll see you soon Wills" he said as she began the long drive back home, the doubts suddenly flooding her head.
"Have you spoken to Willow recently? You know shes starting to have doubts about the wedding" Adam said to Matt as they stretched in their locker room. "Shes having doubts? Why? I thought they were doing good" Matt replied as Adam said "Its not really my place to say but Haytham has booked the venue and set the date without Willows input" "He did what now? When and where?" "She'll kill me for saying it but its the seventh of February at Ravenhearst" "Ravenhearst? As in the house she was kept prisoner in? What the fuck?" Matt said angrily as Adam told him the details. "Thats all shes told me. Matt she was almost in floods of tears telling me. You need to talk to her Matt, i think youre the only person who can talk sense into her" "Im not promising anything Ads, but i'll try" Matt replied as they were called to go backstage, ready for their match.
"Hey Wills, its me. You home?" Matt called out a few days later as he entered his exs home, and then he saw her, sitting in the garden by the fire pit looking like she was deep in thought. "Wills?" he called out again as he neared her, he could see that she'd been crying. "Wills... Jesus Wills what happened to your face? Did he do that to you?" he asked as he sat next to her as she broke down. "Come on Wills, talk to me" Matt said as he put his arms around her. As she leaned into him, she felt safe for the first time since she started dating Haytham. "I cant...i cant do it" she sobbed as Matt held her tighter. "Will, you dont have to do anything you dont want to" he said as Willow realised "you know dont you" she asked as Matt nodded. "Adam told me. Dont blame him Wills, i kinda forced it out of him" "You would have found out one way or the other, but i really wanted to be the one to tell you. I know youve been struggling with this" she said as Matt wiped away her tears. "Wills, dont worry about me. Im worried about you" "It just came as such a shock. Getting married in the place i was held prisoner, the place i died. In less than three weeks" she said shakily. "You know you dont have to do it Wills" Matt said reassuringly before continuing "And you didnt answer my question, did he do that to your face?" "It was an accident. He just got carried away when we were having rough sex Matt, thats all" Willow said, her voice full of doubt. "Come with me Wills, i want to show you something" Matt said as he took Willows cold hand, leading her into the den and standing her in front of the giant mirror.
"Matt...what..." She asked as Matt placed his hands on her shoulders and asked "What do you see when you look in the mirror Wills?" Willow closed her eyes, not wanting to see her bruised face. "Wills? What do you see?" he asked again as Willow replied quietly "I see...i see Victor...and what he did to me" tears streaming down her face as Matt put his arms around her. "Its too late to call things off though" she said as she looked up at Matts face, suddenly realising he was always the one who had her back, the one who was always there for her. Then without realising it, she was kissing him, stripping him as he stopped her. "Wills, this is wrong" Matt said as they pulled apart as Willow replied "I dont care Matt. I cant marry him. Its you, its always been you. I love you" as Matt said "I love you too Wills" as they kissed again, before Willow led him to the bedroom where they spent the night.
