Chapter 3
"Okay… How could someone this small eat this much?!"
Irina and Xenovia just returned from the kitchen, each holding a few bowl of sweets and packages of salty snacks, having taken the empty ones. They did not washed them yet, just piled the bowls in the sink and threw out empty packages, intending for it to be clean on longer break.
One thing they were certain about: they would not run short with food and drinks anytime soon, even with someone with such great appetite as Dragon God – the storerooms were ridiculously large.
And speaking of the glutton…
She already extended her hand towards the exorcists, expecting her bowl of sweets.
Vali just sighed and quickly moved to the girls for it, seeing as they were already overloaded. He took the bowl and places it into Ophis palm, as the rest was distributed among others. Irina and Xenovia sit again with Asia.
Dragon loli bit into her new cookies, taking a peek towards Azazel. "Next, please."
"Well, at least she asked politely" he chuckled nervously, taking the controller into his hand. "Then let's continue…"
"Chapter 3 Being Butthurt and Dolphins"
Sona blinked after seeing this and readjusted her glasses. She then took one more look at the name of this 'episode'. Serafall seemed just as puzzled.
"Those are just two random things, thrown together into a tittle" said Issei.
"Yeah, and to be honest… that makes me worried" Irina chuckled, feeling in danger.
Other girls chuckled with her, aware of the infinite possibilities of how this perverted alchemist could be related to 'being butthurt'… and a little confused about how dolphins would be involved.
All but the two Sitri sisters.
They were neither confused or giggled at the title. They just looked at Irina, genuine worry in their eyes.
4 days.
"That long?" asked Irina. "Really, Xenovia?"
"You're surprised?!" she answered with slightly raised voice, making Irina smile sheepishly in a sort of an apology.
"Well… You said it yourself, it's impossible to distinguish real deal with the transformation."
"Yes… but it still stings."
It took 4 days for Xenovia to forgive Irina for allowing Naruto to escape them when they could have gotten him, if only somebody had believed her. Not only did he escape, but he escaped with her first kiss as well. Not that her first kiss even mattered since she was going to stay an exorcist her entire life, and use her body in the service of the church that adopted an orphan like her. In that time, a Rogue Devil had appeared at a local beach. At least, there were rumors about a strange monster appearing at the beach at night, and there was a confirmed report of a Rogue Devil in the area near the water.
"Well, that idea aged like a milk." Issei pointed out her decision of staying an exorcist. "Both of them, actually…"
"Not by my choice, mind you" she pointed the fact of being kicked out from the Church. "As for using my body… Well, being devil means near immortality, but everyone wants to leave something behind when they'll eventually be gone."
"You really aren't moved by losing your first kiss?" asked Asia, slightly changing the topic. "I would be more concerned…"
"Meh, just a detail" she answered, taking a look at the screen. "Past me says, it does not matter cause I'll remain in Church service… Now, I would say, next one could be much better than first."
"I… I see."
"Nobody's going to address the Rouge Devil topic?" asked Yuuto.
Koneko turned her head towards the Knight, with her sister looking at them curiously. "You think how big are chances it's Naruto's doing?"
"…I would say big."
"I said I was sorry, can you please talk to me... it will be hard to track the Stray Devil without you talking to me." Irina begged Xenovia. She was truly sorry about her mistake, and she smiled when Xenovia just sighed and nodded her head.
"Aww… Look at you, you two softies~ " Serafall broke her dead silence at the sight of blue-haired girl… sort of forgiving her friend. Sort of. "Now, just hug each other, then give yourself a big smooch…"
"Hell no!?"
"Why!?"
Both girls reacted at the same time, turning their heads towards Leviathan, who just winked and stick out her tongue.
"Would be pretty hot…"
Issei just had to fuel to the fire. Both exorcist girls turned with a deadpanned expression towards Red Dragon Emperor, while Magical Girl did so with sparkle in her eyes.
"I know, right~?"
Sona didn't even sighed, just rubbed the base of her nose in irritation. She was certain, felt it in her gut, it would not be the last time that feeling will be surging in her.
She had failed the same mission TWICE now.
"And overall, failed more than few times" stated Issei, but just as quickly he grabbed his chin and started to wonder. "Or maybe it's in dozens already?"
"Won't be surprised" said Azazel from the other side. "Especially with what we've seen so far, and how he performed."
"This is our second failure, on a mission that should have been easy. Guess we're way more suited to monster slaying." Xenovia just wasn't as intelligent or creative as the man they were trying to capture. Even when they were chasing after him without it being a mission, when they heard rumors about him and just went after him to stop him from causing problems for the public. Now it had been two failed missions.
It weighed pretty heavy on her mind.
Rias nodded her head and looked towards Xenovia, understanding how frustrating her own failure must have been. At the same time, she saw the problem with this mission, that is the overwhelming trickiness of their opponent – sometimes, area of expertise was the winning or losing factor in a matchup, just as being a jack of all trades not always guarantee you a chance at victory.
Xenovia and Irina were both good fighters, as well as loyal, but they were pretty dense and straightforward, outsmarting them was not the hardest of challenges. Especially when they were limited by 'no killing' approach.
"You could use a bit of creativity" stated Grayfia, getting attention of many around. "Thinking outside of a box – how my attack can affect him, if I cannot hit him directly; how to distract him; and so on… You are a good fighter, both of you are, but you're too focused."
"I… I see" blue-haired girls responded softly, taking the advice of the Strongest Queen to her heart. "Thank you very much!"
"Isn't this beach known for sharks appearing this time of year?" Irina changed the subject.
Talk of failed missions always bummed Xenovia out.
"Smooth" Koneko noted, opening a chocolate bar. As Kuroka leaned forward, trying to steal a bite out of it, she snuck it closer to her chest in protective manner. "Not so smooth."
Hard to not get alerted, when those large melons are being pushed on your back.
"Dolphins actually, they are very beautiful. Griselda took me and the other kids to the beach here once, before my training started." Xenovia explained as she walked on the beach. It was just as beautiful as she remembered, though with nobody on this part of the beach, it was very calm. Stray Devils only ever came out at nightfall, or when the sun was going down. Devils had their powers slightly weakened during the day, and Stray Devils experienced even greater weakness during the day, to the point that by instinct they only came out at night.
"Aww~!" Asia could not hold her reaction to this. "That is cute. Sister Griselda really do have a soft spot."
Xenovia smirked nervously at that, as did Irina. "Yeah, when she's not training you… lecturing you… punishing you…"
The twin exorcist seemed to drift away into their own thoughts and not funny memories, giggling in unease they remembered. Former nun could not stop herself and gave them both comforting head pats.
Rias took a look at their group and smiled – Nekoushou kept sisters bantering about chocolate bar, Church Trio were recalling their old times and male part were partially fawning over them and touching the stray devil topic – but then red-head raised her eyebrow, intrigued.
Sona and Serafall were silent. Not only that, they were death staring… at the screen.
Rias tilted her head in surprise. Sona never gave much of a reaction to any mention of a stray devil, so why was she so agitated now? And why the same could be said about her older sister?
Akeno noticed that as well, but when she turned towards her queen, the only reaction she gave was unknowing shrug of shoulders.
It sucked, but for Exorcists they were forced to hunt Stray Devils at their most powerful, since they were very good at hiding themselves. Surprising since Stray Devils that ate human flesh mutated and took on an inhuman form.
"That is one of the strangest things about those mutants" Issei noted, crossing arms on his chest and tilting his head to the side. "They go all crazy from power, yet when it comes down to hiding, they are surprisingly good at it…"
"I would say it's instincts" Vali responded to his destined rival. "Their very nature changed when they evolved violently, so certain behaviors had to adjust to them. Plus, there is also a stress factor and they very likely are aware of dangers lurking around, at least in some unconscious level."
"Would be so much simpler if they would just run amok." Xenovia began thinking about it, earning eager nods from Irina. "Sure, they would no longer restrain their power to hide, but we could find them quickly and assault them in mass, overwhelming and executing them swiftly… Far less casualties in exorcists."
Novices didn't catch this tiny detail, but every even slightly experienced person in room looked at the two dumb-dumbs. Finally, it was Grayfia, who decided to point out one, very BIG issue with this idea.
"You girls… realize, that Stray Devils running amok in public would be a bad idea, right?" she had to ask as politely as she could. "Mass panic, random casualties of any kind, ect. ect."
"…"
"…fuck…"
Silver-haired maid sighed, accompanied by her husband's giggle. "You did not."
"It sucks we can't use our Excaliburs when we hunt-" Irina was about to say Naruto's name, before she noticed a fire on the beach. She saw two shadowy figures, one was a large one laying on the ground, and the other one was a male shaped figure that was sitting at the fire, holding something above the fire. The second shadow was close to the water though, and she just shrugged her shoulders. "-guess we should tell those people to leave, huh?" Irina interrupted herself and gestured for Xenovia to look at the fire and the shadowy people.
"Yup, you should or this could get nasty" Akeno stated, remembering all the time they dealt with Stray Devils. Always a pain in the ass, with quite a lot of collateral damage.
Issei himself shuddered at the memory of Viser – quite a beauty, at least the top half, until she went berserker. Monstrous claws, deformed chimeric body and acidic breast milk. Not a pleasant memory.
'But she did had a nice pair of…'
"Pervert."
Issei make a sharp turn towards Nekoshou sisters, looking at the younger one with wide eyes. "Could you please NOT read my mind?!"
"To be honest" Kuroka interjected, "all we did was looking at your face… You know you have this lecherous smile when you think of something perverted, right?"
He blinked in surprise, then looked around at others, seeking some sort of defense. He got a shrugs from Kiba and Gasper and nervous smiles from Church Trio. "It's that obvious?"
"Yup!" Serafall confirmed it bluntly. "Kind of like a hentai antagonist…"
Koneko smiled victoriously at Red Dragon Emperor. "See?"
"…damn…"
"Eh?" Xenovia squinted at the figure sitting in front of the fire.
The other Xenovia did the same, her eyes then widening in understanding. Just like her counterpart, she recognized this person, sooner than the rest.
That figure looked familiar and recent.
"Wait, that's…?" Asia started uncertainly, getting a nod of confirmation from Xenovia before she could even finish. "Oh…"
Irina has realized it herself as well, as she slumped into the pillows and rubbed her forehead. "Oh no…"
Others began recognizing the silhouette as well.
"Can't let civilians get in the way, let's go... eh?" Irina stated when she got close enough to make out the jacket on their fellow, and very familiar, teenager. Her eyes widened, and she made eye contact with Xenovia.
Koneko let out a sigh, as she bit into another cookie, cracking it in half. "He's up to something again…"
"Possible… Actually, very likely." Sona quickly corrected herself, as her eyes wandered to the larger figure. "But what is that… thing?"
"Backpack, maybe?" Kiba proposed. "Or some kind of cauldron… You know, for brewing potions?"
As they spoke and theorized, Rias giggled alongside Akeno. Next to them, Rossweisse covered her face when it hit her who was next to the fire, looking at the screen with wide eyes though her fingers.
"Oh no, it's going to become perverted, right?" she asked worried. "Right?!"
Azazel could not keep himself from laughing out loud at that reaction.
Xenovia put a finger to her lips to tell her to be silent.
It was Naruto, and this was their chance to get him.
Issei crossed arms on his chest, shaking his head in disagreement. "You girls just won't let go, huh?"
"He's making illegal magical experiments in the center of the Italy, the land under direct Church protection!" Irina rebuked with annoyance in her voice, turning her gaze towards her childhood friend. "Not to mention his perverted actions! What we're supposed to do, forgive him and go our way?"
"Isn't it like a Christian thing to do?"
"Not when he will repeat it over and over again" she rebuked him again. "Forgive and forget – sure, if he would regret what was done and wanted to change. It's not a pass to avoid responsibility."
"Besides," Xenovia interjected, "he still peeped and stripped people in public. There is no excuse for that."
Issei did not answered. That was something he himself was guilty of, so he would rather not remind them about that right now, that they were so agitated.
"So basically what Ise-kun is doing, right?"
"Dude!" Issei turned his head towards Yuuto, who was smiling in a purely innocent way. "Uncool."
Naruto sat in front of a fire, adding sand to the potion he was working on at the fire. It was yellow, but it needed to be a more rich yellow. The sand at this beach was particularly rich in the minerals that the potion needed. The shadow next to Naruto, the creature he was tending to, let out a pitiful moan and he reached out and gave it a soothing pat on the side. It was a dolphin, a very large adult dolphin, and not only had it been beached, but it had a strange, infected bite mark on its side that dripped with an almost black venom. The veins all around the bite had turned pitch black, and the dolphin's ripped off tail was only now starting to grow back when he gave it a potion to regrow its tail.
"Oh my God…" Asia let out a surprised and worried gasp, covering her mouth with her fingers. The sight was gory enough to make her visibly disturbed. "What could…?"
"Stray Devil" Sona answered the question before the former nun could finish. "No water animal could leave such a bite, combined with a black venom. Not even mentioning the missing tail."
"He either escaped, or this Stray Devil was toying with its pray…" Serafall deduced, lowering her voice and letting out a shallow snort. "Ironic."
Both Sitri sisters were on point with their assessment, even if a bit cold. None however batted an eye to that, each of them had their own share of blood and injuries.
"B-but it seems that this time, troubles were not Naruto fault" said meekly Gasper. "In fact… He seems like h-he's trying to help him."
Rias crossed her arms under her boobs. "Re-growing tail is one thing… But can he make an antidote for that venom?"
"Don't worry, I'm going to see what I can do for you-"
"Looks like he's at least willing to try" responded Sirzechs, his lips curling into a tiny smile. "Perverted as he may be, he really is a good person…"
"WE GOT YOU!"
Red-haired Maou chuckled. "…and here come the vigilantes."
Asia, watching this, turned her head towards Irina and Xenovia, with a very angry pouting expression… which made her look quite cute.
Nonetheless, both exorcist girls turned their heads away from their friend, feeling some sort of shame at their counterparts rash action.
"In our… Their defense, they may not see all of what Naruto was doing from their position" Xenovia stated, although distancing her and Irina from their counterparts. "Besides, he's our target…"
Gasper shifted away from the girls. "You're ruthless…"
"Now, it's not that bad…" started Irina.
Naruto was tackled into the sand as his head was forced to the ground, and both of his arms were pulled behind his back.
"A-absolutely ruthless!" dhampire accused them, while moving behind Issei and Yuuto. "Straight up savage!"
"H-hey, it's not that…"
"You dare to deny the recorded evidence?" Issei asked them with shocked expression, deciding to turn Gasper overreaction into a gag. "How far gone you are?"
"Oh common, Issei, that's…"
"And here I thought you were an honored fighters…" Kiba has unexpectedly joined the joke.
'Nice one, Kiba' thought Issei. 'Although… Is he really joking, or…?'
Finally, Rias and Akeno could not hold it any longer and laughed out loud. Soon, they were followed by Kuroka, then Azazel and Maou pair, and joined by the smirks of the rest. Only then, Irina and Xenovia realized what was happening.
"Oh, very funny!" Irina pouted, turning her head away.
Asia raised her hands and gently padded her friends heads. "Now, now…"
"What!? Huh!? The fuck!?" Naruto shouted in shock and surprise as he was pushed deeper into the sand. He had been so focused on his potion, he hadn't heard anyone approaching, and even if he had heard them, it was at a beach with a rumored monster in the middle of the night. He wasn't expecting anyone to come to this beach.
"…I'm sorry, he didn't payed attention to anything around him?" Vali asked after a moment of pause, to take that in. "Quoting: at beach with a rumored monster in the middle of the night; he didn't payed attention…"
"Well…" Sirzechs tried to find out a possible explanation for blonde-haired boy apparent recklessness. "…Stray Devils aren't exactly subtle in their approach, usually filled with their pride and greed. He may have been on lookout for that, instead of sneaking enemies."
"But still…"
"Vali." Ophis soft, emotionless voice made the White Dragon Emperor turn his head towards Dragon God. "Shut up."
Issei could not hold it. He straight up burst out into laugher, at the sight of his prideful and powerful rival… being shushed by a loli.
World destroying dragon loli.
"So it was you! You were the one who was making weird things happen at the beach!" Irina shouted out as she used her Excalibur Mimic, since this was a demon slaying mission she was allowed to use this sword, to make a rope and tie up Naruto's hands behind his back. "We got him Xenovia!"
"Yaaay~" Azazel emotionless applause said all that needed to be said. He didn't even tried to hide how much this outcome sucked in his eyes. "Way to kill all fun…"
"Hey!"
"Right?" Issei accompanied fallen angel remark, nodding his head in thought. "Not to mention how underhanded this was…"
"Common…"
"And does she really think, than Naruto just bit off the dolphin tails like that?" Akeno joined the teasing. "Some people just jump into the conclusion right off the bat…"
Rias smirked awkwardly, watching her friend's teasing efforts.
Irina was now close to the point of fuming, holding it together by sheer power of will. Xenovia just kept her eyes averted, still taking a peek from the side of her eyes at the screen.

Azazel visibly enlivened at the short silence. "Oho… Seems like someone's finally catching up!"
"He's not the monster of the beach, and I don't think he's connected to it either." Xenovia looked at the dolphin that was regrowing its tail. She looked at its bite mark, and how it had a demonic curse on it. She looked at Naruto, who seemed to be brewing some kind of potion, and she untied Naruto's hands. "You can continue, our mission tonight isn't to go after you. Whatever you are doing to help this dolphin, hurry up, there is a rumored Stray Devil in the area." Xenovia spoke freely of their mission.
The boys – that is Issei, Yuuto and Gasper – alongside Azazel turned their heads towards the blue-haired exorcist, and nodded in recognition of her action. Seeing that, she could not helped herself from blushing, just a little.
"I'm a bit conflicted here" said Vali, eyeing the situation. "On the one hand, there is a Stray Devil out there, so freeing Naruto possibly saves his life and adds you an ally in case of a fight. On the other, he's a guy you straight up cannot catch, no matter how hard you try, so you may have just lost your one and only chance at getting him."
Irina visibly cheered up at that. "I know, right?"
Lucifer descendant ignored her comment. "Personally, I would take the risk and kept him tied."
"You always are so uptight and victory-focused… That's why you never got yourself a girlfriend." Azazel waved his hand in dismissal of Vali idea. "He's trying to save an innocent creature, show some respect to that."
"Innocent…?"
Fallen angel governor blinked in surprise, then looked around. He was certain he heard something… somewhere from the direction of the group sitting on the pillows. Or was it just his imagination…?
This boy was a mage to some degree, he had to be aware of the supernatural. Not to mention, it really was not there mission to capture Naruto at the moment, and a Stray Devil took higher priority over Naruto anyway.
"Well, that is a sound logic" Sirzechs noted immediately. "I do admit, keeping the boy captured would be most optimal outcome… But you have to know your limits. He may struggle to get out, keeping one of them occupied, while Stray Devil could deal with the other and so, all of them would perish."
Irina raised a finger to argue, but then slowly let it down. Even with Excalibur Fragments, if their focus would not be solely on fight, they may have meet their ends. They were trained and enhanced by Church and angels blessings, but they were still humans.
One fatal blow and it's all over.
"Oh come on, we got him right here! We can take him."
Irina fidgeted in her place and pouted. As much as she shared her counterpart enthusiasm, there was a doubt in her now – she was willing to give her life in service, at that point of her life, but dying because of being stupid and cocky?
She would die because of her pride! Absolutely shameless for an exorcist of a church!
"Stray Devil huh? And here I thought that the monster might have been my... well, it doesn't matter what I thought. I heard rumors of a sea monster, and wanted to see if I could harvest some ingredients from it." Naruto was a little surprised that the monster of the beach was real. Naruto got his book out, and he took out a bottle of holy water.
"He did something there, right?" Asia asked with sheepish smile. "Seems like it's not related to dolphin, but…"
"I knew he was guilty!" Irina whispered angrily under her nose, biting her nail in annoyance. "And you just let him out…"
"Hey, there is still a Stray Devil there!" Xenovia defended her counterpart, this time with full dedication. "Besides, this dolphin isn't looking so good, and only he can do something about it… Unless you know some healing arts you did not mentioned?"
Irina pouted again at Xenovia, confirming she did not.
"Injuries are one thing, but this black venom and curse seeping are true problem" said Grayfia, knowing her own bit about Strays. "Though he seems prepared to deal with it somehow, judging by this holy water…"
Xenovia glanced at it.
"Holy water on its own won't be enough" judged Rossweisse. "For curse alone it may work, but combined with the venom and seeped so deep… He may need to brew an antidote, quite potent one at that."
"Where did you get that?"
"That's… a good question." Xenovia tilted her head in confusion. "Unless…"
"Maybe he took it from your things, when he changed into you in the last… Episode?" Kuroka guessed, having a brief pause to think about what they are watching, actually. "Can I call it an episode?"
"Why not?" asked Rias, with a bit of excitement in her voice. "It's almost like an anime!"
"I'll sign under that!" Azazel himself proclaimed proudly, with a wide smile on his face.
"... I'm just borrowing it... for research purposes." Naruto stated as he looked away from them, his eyes shifty. "... I might have gotten it from you." Naruto did wear Xenovia's clothes, and that came with some of the items that she had been wearing at the time. He figured the holy water would come in handy for something.
"Yup, it was yours." Koneko did not even peek at Xenovia, just stated the fact with absolute stoicism, licking a new lollipop. "It seems he had some plans for it then… or ideas, at the very least."
"He looks also a b-bit nervous" said the nervous dhampire trap. "But he didn't do anything wrong… R-right?"
"I guess he's a bit cautious about Xenovia reaction" concluded the only male swordsman in the room. "Considering that, well, he did steal it."
"But that's just holy water" Asia pointed out. "You can get it at Church, freely if you are part of it. That's nothing to be irked about."
Blue-haired exorcist sighed resigned. "It's more about rules… Doesn't exactly matter what, but he stole from me… It may be a bit petty, I admit."
Holy water was a great ingredient for demonic venom cures, being perfect at destroying curses and other such demonic power fueled problems.
"Yeah, works great at halting regeneration as well!" Issei noticed with a proud smirk on his face, remembering his victory over Riser. "Well, at least devil-based one."
He had no idea how other forms of self-healing worked. As far as he could guess, holy power could even strengthen it further up.
"I doubt it would cause more than make Riser flinch in normal situations" Akeno clarified his assumption immediately. "But your boost did make it quite potent… Ah, the face he made when it splattered all over him~!"
Rias chuckled nervously, Rossweisse pinched the base of her nose. Akeno was blushing and licking her lips, as she was saying all of that.
"So, you hear about a monster, and your first thought is to come check it out?" Irina asked in deadpan.
Irina deadpanned as well, pointing her hands at the screen. "Exactly? Who in their right mind does that?"
"I mean, it seems he thought it was his… experiment?" Asia pointed out with awkward smile. "So…"
"But that was not a certainty!" she nearly shouted in response. All of that teasing and tension was clearly piling on her. "For all we know, it could be sea monster, and we know for sure it's a Stray Devil!"
Was he an idiot?
"Exactly my point!"
Xenovia put a hand on her friends shoulder, gently rubbing it in calming motion, hoping it would allow her to relax, at least just a bit. Asia repeated the motion from the other side, a slightly tense smile on her face. Irina really was close to the point of boiling… or straight up outburst.
"Remember, there is nothing more terrifying than a skillful idiot, with a lot of motivation" Azazel remarked with a cheeky smirk. He earned a death glare from Irina.
"Hey! My Mom's notes say that sea monsters have blood and organs that make for great potion ingredients, and if it was a kraken then I could take part of a tentacle and use it to create an entirely new breed of tentacle plant!" Naruto shouted at the very thought that he was being stupid. Yeah, he could be stupid, but he had legit reasons for coming to a beach with a rumored monster.
"Especially a perverted motivation!" Issei added with a wide smile of his own. He too instantly earned a death glare.
From Irina, yes, but also from Koneko. Petite girl eyed him cautiously, making him a bit uncomfortable, until her gaze was taken away by the buxom cat girl. She pulled her younger sister deeper into a hug.
"Nya~! Don't be so uptight, Shirone!" She laughed in a cat like manner, patting her younger sister hairs, to her annoyance. "It was about tentacles! It's bound to be perverted!"
Koneko had few words hanging on the tip of her tongue to fire back up towards Kuroka, especially for her immediate mindset of 'tentacle=perverted', but decided to just scoffed in annoyance at her.
Black-haired nekoshou laughed even harder at that response.
"To be honest, I'm more surprised he's self-aware" she said, after finally calming down. "Dense people tend to not see it in themselves."
Vali sneered at his female companion remark. "Talking from experiences?"
"Yeah, with you!"
Girls around her giggled at that small fight, even the two participants snorted after a moment.
"Plato used saying – 'I know that I know nothing.' – and I guess that could apply here as well" said Azazel, smirking as well. "The boy knows his own weakness."
He showed up, and there just so happened to be a dolphin, injured by the monster. He took samples of the poison and added it to his ingredient collection, and as his thanks for the new ingredient, he decided he would save the dolphin's life.
Irina sighed. "Well, points to him for being a good guy."
"Despite being a pervert?" Kuroka teased the angel, clearly unable to pass that opportunity. "You seemed pretty resentful so far, nya."
"Oh, my grudge did not disappear, I assure you!" she responded with a fire in her eyes. "I just… Cannot understand why he is wasting his talent on… being a perv!"
"Some people just finds their fulfilment, their life goal, in the most strangest things" said Sirzechs. "Keeping a peace, being the best… and he seems alright with advancing his alchemical skills through those perverted experiments."
He would have saved it anyway.
"Aw, that's just sweet~ !" Asia could not hold her awes over this act of kindness. Helping cause of being paid was still helping, but selfless help hit just different and of all people, this cute former nun could really value such act.
"That's stupid, you're stupid! Why do you make perverted things all the time?!" Irina shouted at Naruto as he added holy water into the potion.
"Yeah, that's what I want to know!" chestnut-haired girl agreed with her counterpart. "Like, I get he's improving his alchemical skills… but why all he does is so depraved?!"
"Have you ever seen an alchemist at work before?" Azazel asked her, leaning on the couch in the girls' direction. "It's super boring work."
"Is it really?" Irina raised an eyebrow suspiciously. "Seems like a lot of fun to me…"
"Practical stuff can be as fun, as it is dangerous." Rossweisse joined their discussion. "But before that? You have to study all involved ingredient, formulate and compare theories, gather stuff, prepare equipment… And then afterwards there are notes to be made, clean up and ect. ect."
"Ah! I bet he just wants to spice up the alchemy itself… before otherwise it would be too boring for him to bother with." Issei put out a theory of his own.
"Very likely."
Irina just gave up, overcome by literal flow of counterarguments.
MASSIVE amounts of smoke came out of it, before it turned a shining gold color. The effect was instant, and Naruto clapped his hands together, his eyes sparkling. Naruto grinned and used his bottle to scoop some out.
"Oh? Seems this mixture was a success, despite initial outburst." Sirzechs leaned forward, with elbows resting on his knees and hands crossed, resting his chin on them. "He seems really excited about this, for some reason…"
"I would say he's interested in how effective is the antidote, but…" Grayfia stopped for a moment, took a long glance at the screen and the blonde boy. She sighed. "After seeing his actions so far, I have my doubts…"
Irina chuckled at that. Why was she again feeling in danger?
"Here you go big guy, this is going to hurt for a couple of minutes-" Naruto opened the dolphin's mouth and poured the mix into it. He gently rubbed it's front and got it to drink it up.
"You can do it~!" Asia cheered the harmed dolphin, really hoping for the best. "Just endure it!"
It was Rossweisse who raised her brows at the scene, as one thing did not added up. "Wait, why…"
"Why would an antidote hurt?" Xenovia questioned Naruto.
"Yeah, exactly…"
Asia blinked in confusion. "Hmm? What do you mean?"
"Antidote only effect is to neutralize the poison" said Xenovia, also catching up on the strange part. "There should not be any pain during that process…"
Naruto blinked.
"Oh no…" Irina shivered. "I think I can see where this will go…"
"Oh yes!" Issei cheered. "I think that's the case – it's definitely not an antidote."
Everyone, including Sona and Serafall, focused their entire attention on the screen.
"Antidote? I don't know how to make those yet, I can only make antidotes for potions that I made. If I tried to make an antidote for anything else, I wouldn't have a good success rate. I didn't make an antidote, but what I did make-" Naruto spoke as the dolphin started to twitch and squirm in the sand. Naruto looked at it, and he crawled to the dolphin's side, and he placed its head in his lap. "-sssshhh, it's going to be okay. Your life is going to be saved. The potion I made isn't an antidote, but it will save his life. It's a regenerative potion made for humans, it uses a mixture of alchemy and magecraft, to regrow lost limbs and organs." Naruto explained.
"Wait…"
"Oh! So that's what's going on." Asia, alongside others, finally got a better grasp of the situation. The violent twitching of the creature became now something understandable, a body reaction to strengthen the quickly regrown parts. But she still had some questions, so she turned to older devils. "Is it really that much harder to make antidote?"
"No, if you know how the said venom works" Rias stated from her own experience. "But in this case, I guess he has no idea what was exactly at play, aside from the curse… Still, I would think it would be easier to figure out an antidote than that kind of potion" she finished with a whisper.
"Wait a minute!" Rosseweisse repeated her call and stopped their conversation, a very uncomfortable and nervous smile on her face. "This potion is made for humans… right?"
"That's… what he said." Koneko deadpanned at her. "And?"
"If it's for humans and he knows it, then… he must have modified it" she noticed, her lips twitching. "What do you think will happen when he'll give it to an animal?"
Everyone froze at that, slowly turning their head towards the screen. Only Irina covered her face with hands, shaking head to the sides in denial.
"No, no, no…"
The dolphin started to transform.
"…I knew it!" she cried out in her own misery.
Seeing this, Koneko opened up a can of coke she had in her pile of sweets, rising it up in a cheering motion to Irina. She was the only angel in the room and seemed to take all of the perverted stuff quite hard. Koneko had a feeling, kind of supported by what they saw so far, that her counterpart will be taking most of Naruto perverted experiments.
She was cheering for her wellbeing and purity during this show.
It's torso started to change shape and become more muscular, and it's flippers began to lengthen and become thicker as fingers started to grow from the tips. Then, webbed hands grew out of the tips of the flippers where the fingers started, and soon enough two large and masculine arms grew. Legs were next, with large flipper feet. The entire body of the dolphin started to take a more humanoid shape, but with its head becoming far more dolphin-like. It's skin never changed into human skin, and stayed as dolphin flesh. It's facial features shrank though and became far more human in appearance. It kept its tail, but the tail came out from above its new humanoid waist.
"Wow!" Gasper mustered with his eyes glued to the screen. "No wonder he was in a lot of pain… That's a lot of changes!"
"He seems to be slightly bigger than before…" Yuuto pondered at the difference in size. "Must be additional muscle mass… and limbs."
"Wonder if that's the only change, nya~?" Kuroka purred and licked her finger. "He seems pretty-"
*CHOP*
Kuroka immediately leaned back in shock, her eyes squinted. Koneko karate chopped her with quite the force, seeing a slight blush at the black-haired girls' face and realizing what she was thinking.
"Perv sis" she muttered, taking another sip of her cola.
Others were still taking in the transformation they were witnessing – some in awe, some in fear, some in arousal and some…
The dolphin finished transforming into a Dolphin-Man after a couple of minutes, leaving a shocked Irina and Xenovia to witness the birth of a new species of monster.
"Oh, hell no!"
"That is absolutely unacceptable!"

Koneko spitted out the coke in shock, violently turning her head with her eyes wide open. Her sister pouted intrigued, following her gaze. Others turned as well, either surprised themselves or simply interested in what was going on. Irina herself seemed to forgot about her embarrassment and frustration for a moment, and even Vali and Ophis turned their heads towards the owners of these two voices.
That is: Sitri sisters.
Everyone were silent. Those two have spoken very little though the course of the screening, focusing on what was going one since they saw the title of this particular episode… and suddenly, they seemed willing to protest with all of their might.
Rias was the first to regain her composure. "Sona… Explain?"
"Not much to explain, really, it is simply unreasonable" she stated calmly, adjusting her glasses. "To do that with a dolphin, of all sea creatures…"
"I know Sitri clan is pretty strongly connected to the sea, but is that not a bit too overprotective?" Akeno had to ask. "It's not like he's ruining an entire ecosystem…"
"Not yet, at least." Serafall has crossed hands under her breasts, puffing them up to make a point. "But he just gave a dolphin arms and legs, allowing him to come up to the surface… alongside being able to live in the waters. Calling it a mistake is an understatement."
"He just saved a dolphin!" Asia joined their argue, a pretty annoyed pout on her face. "How is that a mistake?!"
Sitri heiress looked at former nun a bit hesitant. As an heir and former hair of their clan, she and her sister had a vast knowledge of the sea and its creatures – both natural and supernatural – which in their eyes made one thing absolutely clear: dolphins on the land were a bad idea. She was just uncertain if she should speak about it.
Eventually, Sona made up her mind and sighed heavily, rubbing the base of her nose. "Do you realize how vicious dolphins are as a species?"
That question caused a lot of people gathered in the room to stop their current train of thoughts and look at her. Among them, Issei looked the most bamboozled, though Church Trio was not far behind.
"What?!"
"Humans beats them, of course, considering all of the war crimes and psychopaths in the history" she quickly clarified that part. "But they have conscious and can feel bad about what they did, while dolphins act mostly out of instincts."
"You're surely joking!" Xenovia assumed with a nervous smile. "I mean, what they even supposedly did, that…"
"Killing for fun, tormenting their prey, capturing and gang raping females" Sona recited in one go, leaving all who wanted to say something with mouths agape. "They also often beat pufferfishes to get high on their toxin, as well as murder other sea creatures and use their bodies as toys for pleasure…"
"…what the fuck?"
"There was even a case of dolphin murdering a human, out of jealousy" Serafall added her own two cents into the information dump her sister provided the audience.
"…what the fuck?!"
Koneko had to ask twice, as she – alongside most of the room – looked at the Sitri sisters in… a mix of awe and fear? Utter disbelief? One of those two, or both combined.
"How do you… How do you even know this?!" Irina shoot out her question, still processing all of that. "Dolphins were supposed to be kind and pure hearted animals, not those… savages."
"I'm Sitri heiress, we have a strong connection to the sea, so I have to possess adequate knowledge." Sona turned her head away, uncomfortable look on her face. "Also…"
"So-chan used to play with dolphins during summer breaks" Serafall spoke in a typical older sister way, causing her little sister to panic and blush a bit. "Then one day, I decided to join her and… let's just say, for the next few days, it was possible to practice skating there."
Rias looked at Sona, her mouth still agape in disbelief. She herself got traumatized by camel in her youth and that was just a bit scary experience, compared to what Sona would witness, should her sister not defended herself.
Yet she didn't seemed traumatized by dolphins on their own, rather by the idea of them moving onto the land. Which Naruto enabled.
Younger Sitri sighed to calm herself, then looked at the rest of the group. They still were trying to comprehend what was revealed to them. "Was that enough of an explanation?"
Others just nodded their heads in uneasy agreement… Meanwhile, Asia swallowed heavily, trying to get over her nervousness.
"But… it does not mean this dolphin will be the same" she said, gaining the attention of everyone present, but most importantly – attention and intense gaze of Sitri sisters. "Humans also do horrible things, after all, but not everyone."
"Asia, I never thought I would say this, but… you're too pure for this world." Sona smiled dryly at the former nun. "But unlike humans…"
"…dolphins does not have a conscious" blonde-haired beauty finished the girls' own words. "Right, but this dolphin has been changed… He's more human-like, so may have human-like conscious… We cannot be sure until we'll see."
"Maybe… Either way, I'm content for not finding out if that's true first-handed." Sitri heiress sighed in relief – unlike her sister, who somewhat kept her cool, she had to let out her thoughts to calmed down – and turned back to the screen. "Anyway, let's continue."
"I did it! I created a Man-Dolphin, Dolphin-Man... I'm going to call it a Manphin, you are a Manphin, and your new name is Dan!" Naruto celebrated his victory. The Manphin Dan, started to get control of himself as he began to experiment with his body.
Everyone looked at the scene with quite the unease, which was not unexpected, considering what they just learned. Still, it resulted in pretty heavy atmosphere…
"He's just like a baby~!" joyfully said Asia, being the only person who looked passed all of the revelations and treated Manphin as a blank page. "And Naruto seems… quite proud?"
Thankfully, her positive approach managed to dilute the anxiety felt in the air, allowing others to lay back and enjoy the show more. Serafall, who was one of the few unaffected, smiled at that, happy that others could still enjoy themselves.
Sona herself smirked at that as well, easily understanding the positive influence of the former nun on the others mood. "It seems he is quite proud… Still, I'm not trusting that-"
He took control over himself and started to stand up.
"-thing… Oh, wow."
He stood well over 9 feet tall.
"So-chan, don't look!" shouted panicked Serafall, quickly trying to cover her sisters eyes. "You'll get corrupted~!"
Dan the Manphin looked down at all of them, before it started to look at the way they moved their bodies, and he began to copy them.
Church trio blushed – Asia and Irina heaviest, escaping with their gazes to the other side of the room – and so did Rias, alongside Akeno and Rossweisse, as well as nekoshou sisters. Though Kuroka, alongside Akeno, seemed more interested than embarrassed. Even Grayfia herself raised an eyebrow.
Meanwhile, boys seemed pretty… agitated, or maybe jealous? Or a mix of both.
"Oh... oh my God..." Irina covered her eyes when she saw that Dan was indeed a Manphin. Since dolphins didn't wear clothes, Dan wasn't wearing clothes when he took humanoid form either. Dan started to take experimental first steps across the beach, and Naruto jumped up into the air and cheered.
"Seems the ero-angel is always getting a first-hand experience" Koneko noted, as she saw their Irina did the same as her counterpart… only she did looked through her fingers. "First tentacles, now this… Won't you fall?"
"Not my fault he's keeping pulling out those hentai monsters all the time!" she shouted in desperate response. "I'll… be fine, just need to focus and not think about it!"
Twin-tailed exorcist then slapped her face with both hands, sending a shock through her body and straightening her resolve. She send Koneko a reassuring thumb up… more for herself than cat girl.
"Would it not be better if she just… didn't watched?" Kuroka whispered out her question. "Michael did not come, after all…"
Petite nekomata just send an angel girl a deadpanned look. "I guess she just is an ero-angel."
"My baby boy is already taking his first steps, look at him go. Isn't he amazing, look at my big and beautiful baby! I knew it was a good idea to use my DNA for the potion! He's cured, he will survive, and I made sure that he would keep his ability to breed. He can have sex with dolphins AND humans to make babies! This is the birth of a new monster species!" Naruto celebrated very loudly, while the two girls were still just stunned by what they had just witnesses.
"So he can live on the land AND actually reproduce with humans… Great, thanks for a nightmare fuel!" Sona sighed in mental exhaustion, leaning back and sinking into the pillows. "What's next, he's going to create his own civilization?"
"I think you exaggerate a bit, Sona." Rias reassured her friend with a sympathizing smile. "It's just one specimen… Even if he would evolve further, it would take decades, if not eons, for this one Manphin to actually create an entire new species, left alone an actual civilization."
Sona rubbed the base of her nose and closed her eyes. She was absolutely aware of how long it would take for this one creature to sprung into an entire race, but the possibility alone made her unnerved. The fact that this creature had a human DNA, so could have some of the human traits, was no help at all.
It could inherit all of the bad traits possible.
She took as little solace as she could from Asia words – from the possibility of this Manphin, Dan, inheriting some positive traits that could temper its nature.
"You-"
"Unless he actually modified his reproduction process itself" Grayfia responded to Rias, when that thought suddenly crossed her mind.
Sona eyes snapped open. "Wha-"
"...though, I hate to say it, I only slightly modified the potion my parents created, so I can't really take credit for it. I would have never been able to make this potion without their notes." Naruto did have to concede that a potion of this caliber would have been outside of his skills at the moment. He just used what skills he did have to modify the potion, hoping that it would have the desired effect.
"That would explain a lot" said Sirzechs, crossing arms at his chest, with a smirk on the face. "It was strange that he had problems with figuring out an antidote, yet such mutating potion was in his range of skills…"
"Working on an already existing work is much easier, than making it from ground zero" Grayfia summarized her husband's train of thought. "Plus, he did said it was originally for humans… We could technically figure it out then…"
"Nah, we had too little information on it then." Azazel shrugged his shoulders in uncaring fashion. "Would not change anything anyway."
Rossweisse, though still blushing hard, was shifting through her thoughts, mumbling to herself. "Just who the hell were his parents? To make a potion of this caliber, yet prone to modifications…"
"Probably not someone we would know" Azazel answered to her. "Considering that none of us is aware of them, or Naruto, I think it's easy to assume they do not exist in our world… or they occupy different position and by such, possess different set of skills."
Rosseweisse, Crimson Maou and his silver-haired wife, as well as Sona, nodded to that, assuming it a most possible option.
His main goal WAS to save Dan's life, but he would be lying if he didn't admit that his other desire was to see if he could also turn Dan into a new monster species.
"H-he really is a good person… though that perverted side is constantly in charge" Gasper noted meekly. He seemingly was the only one among the younger male audience, who show no jealousy towards creation of hung Manphin. "Or he may just want to experiment…?"
"Two birds with one stone, if you ask me" said Issei, counting both the healing and mutation of dolphin, as well as doing it for perverted and scientific reasons. "Besides, as you said, he is a good guy, so let me tell you this – bad guys should not have a monopoly on crazy scientists!"
"H-he's an alchemist, not a…"
"Details!"
"...It's penis is retractable..." Xenovia noted in a dumbfounded tone, only able to comment on what she was seeing.
The other blue-haired girl could only sigh in the same tone as her counterpart spoke, literally unsure what else to say. Not only was she actually inexperienced, although eager to change that, but the sight was just so weird…
"Naturally mutated mechanism… or intended modification" said Serafall, intensely eyeing the monster. "There's no way he would be able to walk or swim normally with a dick that big."
Issei dully noted. "So, there are disadvantages…"
"Of course there are!" Leviathan immediately turned to the boy. "I mean, guys complain about having small or medium dicks, but all you have to do is to gain some actual skills to please the woman."
"You say like it's nothing, but…"
"That thing on the other hand?" Serafall completely ignored Issei try at response. "With any sudden movement, it'll swing left and right, and I'll feel sorry for any virgin girl trying get that into herself… or any petite girl at that. I can handle it, but…"
…Xenovia wanted to thank the petite Maou for saying something, but then the talk went towards that topic. Sona herself turned read at her sisters antics, covering her face with one hand.
"Well of course, with a big dong like that one, he wouldn't be able to swim nearly as well. So long Dan, off into the ocean with you. You be the best monster you can be." Naruto proudly proclaimed as Dan approached them after slowly mastering the ability to walk on dry land. He looked down at Naruto, and tilted his head.
"Do NOT be the best monster" said Sona, still covering herself from the embarrassment. "Just behave."
"Maybe that's what he means by that?" Asia proposed, taking another look at the screen. "He's kind of cute…"
Dan smiled at Naruto and started to make dolphin noises, and rubbed himself against Naruto to show affection and thanks for saving his life.
"Aw, he's a good boy~!" she nearly purred at the scene, clapping her hands. "It's really like a father and son."
Sitri heiress took another look at the former nun. She really was hopelessly optimistic, but that wasn't such a bad trait now. A good distraction from thinking about this new species of dolphins-like beings, able to walk on land.
Then, he went towards the water and jumped into it.
Dan the Manphin swam away into the night.
"Goodbye, Dan, hope to see you soon, nya~!" Kuroka blew a kiss and waved her hand in joyful motion, getting a deadpanned glare from her sister. "Huh? Shirone, are you jealous of your big sis attention? Don't worry, I'll happily shower you with my attention!"
"No, thanks" she responded, sighing heavily and turning her head away. "Slut sis…"
"Oh, common, nya~!" older nekoushou embraced her younger sister with a cat-like smile. "There is nothing wrong with appreciating a fine…"
Koneko didn't let her finish, immediately moving her fist backwards and poking her in the forehead with quite the force, making black-haired nekomata lean back and pout cutely.
"My, my… Maybe Koneko-chan just swings the other way?" Akeno teased the white-haired girl, touching her lips with a finger. "Or she may just appreciate the sight in silence… You never know, right?"
"…fuck off."
Both Kuroka and Akeno giggled at that response.
"Why?" Xenovia asked, and Naruto shrugged.
"Exactly!" Irina throw her hands in the air, in the direction of the screen. She already accepted the fact he just uses it as excuse to better himself at alchemy, but still cannot stop herself from siding with other Xenovia on this question. "Is the simple fact of doing a good deed not enough?"
"Why do just a good deed, when you can make a good AND perverted deed?" said Azazel, on the brink of laughter. "Am I right?"
"No?!"
"Yes!?"
Irina exchanged a look with Issei, clicking her teeth. He was her childhood friend and she have some feeling for him, but at this point, she started to feel some irritation at his constant clash with her views.
"Don't really have a reason, it just seemed really fun... and somewhere in the world-"
Naruto was tackled to the ground by Irina as she tied his hands behind his back.
"Go me!"
"Oh, common!" Red Dragon Emperor shouted in annoyance, pointing his hand at the screen. "Again?"
"To be fair…" Xenovia raised her hand in defense of her friends counterpart. "It is a crime to create and release monster, so it's a valid reason. Plus Irina was still pissed at her previous failure… and was basically forced to see Manphins dick."
Asia pouted cutely. They had a valid reason this time, so she could not really argue with them, but he did just saved a life… then she remembered what she saw from Dan and turned red, covering her mouth in returning embarrassment.
Irina on the other hand just happily nodded her head in agreement with Xenovia, as Issei scoffed in response.
"For the creation of a monster, I don't care if this is our mission or not, I am taking you to that holding cell to await your trial!" Irina was blushing and red faced. She had gotten a full on view of that naked man dolphin, and she would never be able to forget it. This was the second time that something Naruto had done would put a mental scar on her mind.
"Never able to forget this…" Kuroka pondered at the exorcist words, as mischievous smirk appeared on her face. Something that Akeno, despite sitting few feet away, quickly catch on. "Nyahaha~! Well, well, we have one thirsty exorcist here… or rather thirsty angel~!"
"T-t-thirsty?!" Irina cheeks burned up in a deep red from that accusation. "W-w-w-w-what do you…?"
"Oh, you really keep at appearance even now?" Akeno joined in the teasing. "Even I and Kuroka will be over that dick in some time, but here you are – claiming you will never get it out of your head… You are a dirty little girl, that's for sure~! Still water runs deep~!"
"Wha-wha-wha…?"
Kuroka and Akeno both snorted at that, before bursting into a laughter. It took them a long moment to finally calm down and when they did, they looked at each other and send themselves a thumbs up.
Meanwhile, Irina just glared at them with a mix of irritation and anger.
"Seems two lovely exorcists and a mage have come to be eaten today... lucky day, lucky day!"
"Oh shit!"
"Irina, the Stray Devil!"
Vali smirked and rubbed his hands in excitement at that. "Now, finally some action…"
-5 Minutes of Fighting Later-
"…are you fucking kidding me?"
"Ha, ha, ha~! "Issei laughed so hard at that, grabbing his sides in actual pain from it. "Pretty nice action, Mr. I Want To Fight!"
"Are YOU ready for one, Mr. I Want To Die?" he responded, cracking his knuckles and summoning his Divine Dividing. "Cause I'm pretty sure you're going to-"
He got slapped in the back of his head.
So hard in fact, that went in a blink of an eye from standing straight, to laying flat on the ground. Ophis palm was actually still steaming from sheer power that slap packed.
"Vali, behave" she said, a faint smile on her face.
Turning his head, for the ground to look at her, Vali actually had to wonder: 'Is she enjoying this?'
"There, it's dead, and we can... where did he go?" Irina asked when she looked at where Naruto had been, and she saw that he wasn't there anymore. She blinked to herself when she saw that her backpack had been opened up and searched through as well. Her jaw dropped when she saw that Naruto had taken her Holy water bottle from her. "My Holy water, he took my Holy water!"
Ophis turned her head to Irina, looking at her with those stoic eyes. Twin-tailed exorcist gulped loudly, earning nervous smiles from Xenovia and Asia.
"No… Don't say it…"
"Useless."
"Dammit!"
"I must admit, he was quick and good at that!" Sirzechs had to praise the boy for being able to so effectively use situation to his advantage. "He had just five minutes, yet he managed to untie himself, search through the backpack and leave, all without being noticed… Is he a ninja of some kind?"
"Pervert, alchemist, ninja… I think that'll be a bit too much for one person." Grayfia chuckled at the proposition nonetheless, despite it sounding pretty much impossible.
Xenovia sighed to herself.
"Well, he escaped… again…" she commented on her counterpart expression, having similar one on her own face. "I mean, we must score a win one day… Right?"
"You did, you captured him" said Vali, already back on his feet and leaning against a wall… with a hand behind his head, to rub the struck spot. "Then you let him go."
Xenovia sighed to herself.
"Let's report back to the Church that the mission to slay the rogue was a success, our mission was not to capture Naruto. It was slaying the devil, so there is no shame in letting him go this time... where is my motorcycle?" Xenovia asked when she looked up towards the street, and she saw her motorcycle was gone.
"No, he didn't…?" She raised her head, this time with an actual irritation in her eyes.
Irina growled in anger, hand on top of her head and fingers intertwined in her hairs. "And you let that little thief go…"
There was a note.
"Maybe there is an explanation in the note…?" Asia proposed meekly, getting a glare from them both in response. "Or… an apology?"
"I would rather not be robbed at all…"
Dear Xenovia and Irina,
I took the motorcycle, I'm just borrowing it though, I'll drop it off at the church for you. Thanks to this experience, I'm going to be able to see if I can replicate the potion I made, or if it was just a fluke. Here is to hoping I succeed.

"See? He's… going to give it back!" Asia reasoned, though the nervous smile on her face suggested she herself was not entirely convinced.
"…sure…"
"I'm more concerned about that potion" Sona muttered, leaning forward from the pillows. "I hope it was just a fluke, cause this whole deal with the dolphin was an absolute mess, but if he can do it again…"
She shuddered, didn't even wanting to imagine what could have happen if one of his creations would get out of control.
Xenovia gripped the letter in her hands.
"At least... he is dropping... off my bike at the church." Xenovia spoke through grit teeth. She was grinding her teeth from sheer frustration.
"Look at the bright side – you are sure you'll have your bike back" Yuuto tried to cheer his fellow sword wielder, in a way that didn't worked at all. "If he hadn't take it, who knows, the Stray Devil may have destroyed it during your fight."
"And how big of a chance that would be?!" she asked pissed, but not as much as her counterpart. "I know how to fight to NOT involve my stuff in it."
"Dunno, didn't saw the fight."
Xenovia opened her mouth, but could not find any counter to his statement. It was true – none of them saw how the fight went, or what abilities the devil possessed, so it was absolutely impossible to analyze if her transport was at any danger.
But both for her and her fellow swordsman. They are both dealing in 'ifs'.
Irina moaned in despair.
"The walk to the church is like 2 hours, this suuuucks. Oh, there is some more writing on the backside." Irina noticed more writing on the back.
"Why are you complaining about simple walk?" asked Ophis, sounding almost surprised. "I though you are trained fighters?"
Irina glanced at the Infinite Dragon with a deadpanned look, almost certain where this is going. "We are, but this is 2 hours of just walking… Nothing to do but walk in a straight line for 2 hours."
Ophis stared at the exorcist, not understanding what was wrong with something like that. Eventually, she arrived at the conclusion, her eyes widening a bit in understanding.
"I see… Excuses."
"No, they are not!"
All things consider, at least Irina was wrong with her assumption, as that lifted up her spirit… even if just a little.
"Can we focus,?" Sitri heiress asked with a slightly raised tone. "Considering first half, I want to see what's on the other side of the note."
By the way, remember when I started to talk about the reason I came to the beach when I heard about a monster? Yeah, just letting you know that two days ago I planted some tentacle plant seeds under the sand. Have fun with that, you fighting the Stray Devil will have woken him up.
Don't worry, this one doesn't like vaginal sex, he likes anal. His tentacles aren't designed for that.
"So… there was also his monster after all" Asia dully noted, turning with a nervous smile towards Irina and Xenovia. "So, you…"
"I was fucking right!" Irina shouted in a somewhat victory, quickly blushing at her sudden outburst, covering her mouth. "God, please, forgive…"
Xenovia felt something wrap around her ankle.
"Oh no…"
Irina felt something wrap around her wrist.
"God, please no…"

It was going to be a LONG night for Xenovia and Irina.
They both sighed at that, understanding just how true that statement was…
It would end with them being very butt hurt.
…and that as well.
Screen turned off after that, displaying a familiar message.
Chapter 3 Being Butthurt and Dolphins – the end.
"Well… That was something." Issei leaned back with his whole body, turning his head to face exorcist duo. "You girls just cannot stop yourself from coming after him, right?"
"He may be goodhearted, but still performs unauthorized magical experiments!" Irina responded in raised voice. "Worse, he created AND released a monster into the wild!"
Vali snickered at that. "And you got fucked in the ass because you could not just let go…"
Irina turned to face the White Dragon Emperor. "Said the battle maniac…"
"I know my limits."
"We nearly had him, he's just…" Irina had to swallow her pride for that. "…smarter than we."
"And he's an idiot" Vali pointed out, rubbing salt into the wound. "Says a lot…"
"Oh, fuck off!" Xenovia finally responded. "You haven't fought him… for all we know, you could be beaten and humiliated too!"
"Possible, I don't know" he responded, shocking a bit the girls. "Physically, I can win 100%, but if he would use magic and potions… No idea."
Aside for their talking, rest of the groups seemed pretty calm, discussing topics among themselves. Rosseweisse was sitting silently, covering her mouth and pressing the base of her nose.
"I need to not go for the alcohol… I can stand this… I can!"
"Jokes aside" said Serafall, "but after that dolphin deal, I could use some too… Maybe not now, but keep me in mind when you'll go~ !"
"Hmm… Since everyone still have their snacks, no one wants any alcohol yet, and I assume no one wants to go for a leak, I guess we can continue?"
"I think so!"
