Hi, everyone! Thanks for your time. :)
I forgot to add how Kami knows Freiza will be arriving in a year. Oh, no. haha. Thanks for dealing with me y'all.
So I will have to go and edit that in chapter 11 but for the missing comment:
"If you all train seriously enough, yes." Kami nodded as he met her eyes. "Because in reality, you will all have three years to train. Two in the hyperbolic time chamber and a year outside until Freiza arrives. Because of the imminent threat heading to earth, I was able to read some of Freiza's mind and he's planning on touching the earth in one year's time. "
Now that that's taken care of I just want to let you all know I will not be neglecting the human Z warriors in the fic.
I want them to be used for fighting too (Including Yamcha who let's admit has become a meme to hate)
Okay, so the power levels of the trio:
I'll try to keep it simple and avoid using numbers as much as I can right now.
I think this is an easier method for the readers to grasp but let me know what you think.
Chichi, before training she was as strong as she was in the original Dragonball when she fought Goku in the tournament.
For those who haven't watched the original DB let's put her at a power level of 139 and compare it to Chiaotzu who I'll put as 145 when he faces off with Nappa in Z (Sorry if that's not an accurate number).
Now after training with Piccolo for two years with his no-nonsense approach: Let's put Chichi so far slightly above the strength of Saiyan saga Vegeta.
Vegeta, when he went to Earth: basically as strong as he was when he arrived on earth in the anime.
Vegeta, after training on Earth so far: Namek saga level.
Piccolo, before training: Was as strong as he was when Raditz arrived in the anime.
Piccolo, let's put him now to the power of when he arrived on Namek before being fused with Nail.
If you think any of that is wrong or should be changed feel free to pm me.
Now on to the story...

.
"Look at that beautiful hair!" Bulma cried out happily, running to Chichi.
When Bulma met her she gave Chichi a big hug which Chichi warmly returned.
The two female friends pulled apart and Bulma gave Chichi a once-over.
"Wow, Chichi. You got all toned up and have a body to die for! Just look at those legs!"
Chichi laughed.
"Thank you, Bulma. But trust me you're still way prettier than me."
"No way! With those hips of yours and those eyes?!"
"So is this what women talk about when they're alone together?" Krillin joked in a hushed voice to Yamcha who was now at his side, observing the interaction between the women while holding Puar who was still knocked out cold.
"Looks like it." Shrugged Yamcha with a smirk.
Krillin got a playful look in his eyes as an idea struck him. He looked over his shoulder at Tien who was watching Chiaotzu beginning to recover.
"Tien, between you and me which one of us do you think is prettier? One bald guy vs another." Asked Krillian.
Tien had been more focused on his small friend on the ground and had barely listened to what Chichi and Bulma had been talking about. He looked up at Krillin with horror and confusion at the question.
"W-What?!" He asked in almost outrage.
His response made Yamcha and Krillin crack up together in laughter.
"I defiantly can answer that." Came a tough sounding woman's voice. Blonde Launch had just arrived at the lookout and she was stepping out of a small plane she had flown in on. She ran quickly over to Tien.
"Old man Roshi told me yesterday that you were going to be gone for two years." She said to Tien, looking and sounding a little flustered.
"Er..Not exactly. I-" Said Tien awkwardly.
"So I thought I'd give you this." Interrupted Launch and pulled out of her back pocket a picture of herself with a lipstick kiss mark on it.
Afraid to be rude and not sure what he was doing, Tien took the picture awkwardly.
"T-Thanks." He stammered, scratching the back of his head.
"And those are my lips on the photograph, Tien." Announced Launch, Her nose and the area around it turning red. "Late at night if you're ever feeling alone, just hold it to your heart and it's like I'll be there beside you to kiss your loneliness awa-"
"BOMBS AWAY!" Yajirobe's voice shouted as he dropped from Korin's grip up above the others.
Yajirobe did a few flips in the air and landed almost on Launch.
"Hey! Watch where you're going!" Shouted Launch in rage and began shooting her guns at Yajirobe. Bullets flew and repeatedly hit Yajirobe in the rear, making him cry out in pain and he desperately tried to escape her by running. The gang observing laughed at the scene, excluding Piccolo and Vegeta who were still recovering from the secondhand embarrassment they had felt witnessing Launch and Tien's interaction.
"You wanted him, so I thought I'd deliver," Korin said to Kami as he dusted off his paws, hovering above in the sky.
Kami gave an appreciative nod and Korin flew away.
"The more fighters the better," Kami stated to Mr. Popo.
"What do you all say we all get going to the chamber?" Goku asked eagerly to his friends that made up of the next group appointed to the time chamber.
Those who Goku was talking to looked at Goku in hesitation before they were seized with determination. Chiaotzu and Puar were now fully awake.
"Please do. All you weaklings need it. The sooner the better." Voiced Vegeta. "And all of you better not waste time in there bonding with each other and singing kumbaya around the campfire."
"Feh. Goku will be the one roasting the marshmallows, no doubt." Added Piccolo coolly.
"What a bunch of hotheads." Remarked Yamcha, referring to Piccolo and Vegeta.
"No kidding." Said Tien and Chiaotzu in unison.
"Uh, Chichi?..." Asked Krillin who had approached the princess and was looking at her.
"Hm?" Returned Chichi.
"No offense, but how on earth did you manage to survive being with those two for two years?"
Chichi giggled at Krillin's question.
"Well, one of them is my husband so that one is easy to live with, but I get what you mean. I think my feminine energy canceled out their hostility when we were together."
"Feminine energy, huh? Guess I'm a goner then if I ever had to trade places with you." Krillin sighed. "Maybe if I manage to get a girlfriend one day I'll superglue her to my hip to keep me safe from Piccolo. Like a lucky rabbit foot or something."
Chichi laughed at his joke, making Krillin smile.
"I'm sure you'll find yourself a woman one day, Krillin. How can you not? You seem so kind and funny to me. There are tons of women who'd like you." Chichi complimented.
Krillin's head turned red a second.
"Aw, shucks. Thanks, Chichi." Krillin returned bashfully. "I really needed to hear that."
She has no idea how much. Thought Krillin sadly, thinking about Bulma and the last girl he had asked out on a date. She had turned him down.
"Shows how little you know me, Piccolo," Goku said with equal amounts of humor and ice in his voice to his rival. It was the first time he had spoken directly to Piccolo since their brutal match. "If anything, I'd be the one eating the marshmallows."
"Of course, Goku. I should have considered that for you sticking a marshmallow on a stick and cooking it over a fire would be rocket science to you. How inconsiderate of me." Piccolo shot back cruelly.
Vegeta laughed at Piccolo's insult towards Goku.
During their last two years spent together, Vegeta and Piccolo had developed some mutual respect for one another. They both now saw each other as cunning and serious warriors and both through their strong will had helped each other to grow in much power.
Added to them their connection with Chichi and it was inevitable that they would be more at peace with one another. Vegeta wasn't blind to see how Piccolo had helped his wife enormously.
Goku gave Piccolo an angry look which Piccolo returned.
Kami struck the end of his staff twice on the ground to gather attention.
"Remember all of you that until Freiza is defeated he and his followers alone are your enemies now. Right now we can't afford to lose a warrior." Kami said, chiding Piccolo and Goku.
"No one asked you, old man." Piccolo said venomously to Kami.
Kami ignored Piccolo's words with a slight smile.
"I believe Goku has the right idea. Now is the time for the others to go off to train." Kami announced.
The fighters up next brazened themselves.
Yamaha gathered the Capsules and other things Bulma had donated for the next group and after exchanging sweet words with her he gave her a passionate goodbye kiss. The others excluding Goku were already making their way inside.
"Goku, aren't you going with them?" Chichi asked as he was staring at her with a smile on his face and his boots seemingly rooted to the floor.
Goku gave a playful laugh under his breath and suddenly moved as quickly as he could at her, charging in an attack.
Chichi gasped at the unexpected attack and reflexively grabbed Goku's fist that was about to hit her stomach.
She held his fist in her hand with ease as he struggled to move past her grip. For her, it was as simple as holding a small child's hand in place.
Realization of her own strength hit her and she gasped again, this time at being blown away that she was now even more powerful than Goku.
"That's what I thought." Smirked Goku knowingly, pulling back his hand. "If we fought against each other in the tournament again you'd definitely win this time. Good job, Chichi. I'm proud of you. You've definitely motivated me."
Chichi looked into Goku's eyes in gratitude for the gift Goku had intentionally given her of showing just how much she had accomplished.
"Thank you, old pal." She smiled with happy tears in her eyes.
Goku smiled broadly and winked, giving her a thumbs up.
"See you in two years' time." He said as he started making his way to the time chamber. "Oh er wait. two years... I mean days...years...chamber time?"
Chichi laughed at her friend's confused antics as he entered the time chamber.
The door had shut behind Goku, the other fighters having gone before him.
Vegeta rolled his eyes at what he had watched play out with his wife and her former crush.
"What did you ever see in that clown? He can't even do a simple math question without almost having a stroke."
Chichi gave Vegeta a warning look with her eyes while Bulma laughed.
"Goku may not be that smart education-wise, but he's got a heart of gold." Bulma offered in defense of her friend and Chichi's taste in men.
"Pfft. Yeah, fools gold." Vegeta quipped.
Vegeta's quick insult made Chichi and Bulma look at each other and then laugh.
"We need a plan for where we should train next." Entered Piccolo's voice seriously.
Bulma tensed up and took a few steps back from him who was standing close by her now.
"That's easy: At my place, Piccolo. There's plenty of land and forests my father owns and no one will bother us or get in the way. I'll give you your own room in the castle." Chichi answered simply.
A corner of Piccolo's mouth lifted into a smile at her.
"That's nice and all but I prefer sleeping under the night stars so I think I'll pass on the room. Your place sounds like a good idea of where we should be for the next year though."
Piccolo lifted up off of the lookout, silently signaling for them three to get a move on.
Vegeta and Chichi powered up, their ki enveloping them.
"Wait, you two," Bulma said suddenly before they could take off and go.
The spouses and Piccolo looked over at her.
"Vegeta, I hope you and Chichi won't be mad... but while all three of you were in the chamber I went over to visit Ox King and he let me take your stuff, Vegeta. You know, from your crash?" Bulma confessed hesitantly.
Vegeta's eyes became hot embers in rage.
What could this earthling woman want with my stuff? To keep it for a souvenir of an alien crash landing?!
Chichi saw the anger in his eyes.
"Calm down, Vegeta," Chichi ordered him sternly yet with a soothing tone. "Hold on now. Bulma is a great scientist and her father is the best and smartest one the planet has to offer. I'm sure she's using it for a good scientific reason and to help us."
"That's true!" Bulma quickly added, seeing the extinguishing anger in Vegeta's eyes. "I know I should have asked first, but I couldn't wait. I'm using the technology I found to try and replicate the power-level reader thingy and the spaceship. I already replicated the armor and gloves you were wearing, Vegeta. I left a copy for you at the castle."
All remains of the anger Vegeta had felt for Bulma were replaced with satisfaction at the idea of wearing Saiyan armor once more. No longer would he have to punch the Namekian with his bare fists.
Vegeta let out a crackle.
"Well done, scientist woman. In reward for you not respecting the privacy of my property, you are now here by hired to make me future copies of my armor should the need arise."
Bulma looked at Vegeta with a blank stare.
"Let's get going," Vegeta said to the two others and a second later he flew off.
Piccolo followed right after.
Chichi was about to start flying but remembered something important.
"Bulma, before I forget I should mention I still got all the capsules you gave me earlier in my purse right here." Said Chichi awkwardly and with slight anxiety, tapping the purse hanging over her arm.
"DoyouthinkIcankeepthemall? Oh,Ican? Thanks!"Chichi said quickly and took off into the air after the others.
What Vegeta had said had finally registered in Bulma's mind.
"I'm not your tailor, Vegeta!" She screamed to the Prince who was off in the distance.
.
.
.
Chichi smiled and laughed, enjoying her first experience flying skillfully in the air outside of the time chamber. She thought the scenery down below was delightful to closed her eyes and soaked in the warmth of the sun. She had caught up to Vegeta and was flying right alongside him.
Vegeta was watching her, enjoying the look of happiness on her face and feeling proud of having a wife who flew at her skill now.
"I'll race you guys to the castle!" Chichi loudly declared in laughter before rocketing off.
Vegeta followed after her with a grin while Piccolo was in the middle of processing what Chichi had just said.
"Come on, Piccolo. You slowpoke!" Chichi shouted at him over her shoulder as Vegeta was nearing her.
"What did you just call me?" Demanded Piccolo with widened eyes. He grinned darkly in a playful manner, powering up for the challenge. "Well, if it's a race you want, it's a race you'll get!"
The namekian flew faster than he had ever done before with his newly earned power level.
Chichi looked behind herself and saw Vegeta and Piccolo getting closer.
She laughed at the seriousness taken of the challenge on Piccolo's face and she moved even quicker.
Chichi could tell by Vegeta's expression he wasn't taking the race seriously but was enjoying himself watching her.
As they neared the castle Vegeta powered up and within seconds he flew right above Chichi and snatched her in his arms.
"Got you now!" The Prince huskily teased in her ear.
Chichi was at a loss for words at how fast He had just caught up and moved in on her and was also left speechless by his charming her.
"We're supposed to be racing each other! Not playing tag!"Chichi playfully chided, elbowing him in the stomach.
"I didn't say we were doing otherwise," Vegeta replied with a mischievous grin and then tossed her behind himself a good two hundred feet without inflicting any harm or pain to her.
Chichi was flabbergasted at what Vegeta had just done but couldn't help but laugh.
"You big meanie!" Chichi called as she chased after him.
Vegeta barked with laughter.
The saiyan prince landed on the castle grounds and then Chichi seconds later, but Piccolo had been the one to beat them both and arrive first.
"Now who is the slowpoke?" Asked Piccolo, giving Chichi a boastful look. "because you two love birds were too busy with your shenanigans, I won."
Chichi burst into giggles.
"That you did, Piccolo. I'll give you an extra glass of grape juice tomorrow morning for your reward." She grinned.
.
.
.
Chichi had just finished greeting her dad and letting him know she and Vegeta had returned. She knew as she had done so the saiyan prince had made his way in the castle in search of the uniform awaiting him that Bulma had spoken about.
Princess Chichi rubbed at her sides, ribs feeling sore after being hugged so tightly upon her return from her father and again by him when she had informed him of her strength and he had sensed it.
A lake of tears indeed. Considered Chichi as she recalled her father's office filling up with his tears when he knew of her power level
She was making her way outside, knowing that enough time had passed that Vegeta and Piccolo were probably already training together so she went to meet them.
Chichi was halfway out of the back castle doors when the ground and castle terribly shook.
"An earthquake?!" Chichi immediately cried out, holding on to the castle walls.
The feel of a colossal power level hit her then, letting her know whatever it was that had shaken the earth below her hadn't been an earthquake.
That power is so big. What if Freiza somehow arrived early? Chichi thought with in fright, but she remembered Piccolo's teachings of her being courageous when dealing with enemies.
Her face became serious and she took off, heading her way to the power she felt.
Chichi landed near the end of one of her forests and sneakily moved along as she did, careful to not want to be spotted by Freiza, if it really was him.
She was located in a place she knew quite well. She was standing at the edge of the forest, where it would soon give way to a sizable open field where she had played as a little child. A good opportunity to spot Freiza if he was there.
The ground began to shake again and Chichi bit back a scream, holding on to the trunk of a tree. A ferocious and beastly roar was heard, making Chichi's stomach flip in fear.
She swallowed her fear and started to move again.
Now at the edge of the forest, she peeked cautiously behind a tree and that's when she spotted him. A giant ape in armor was swinging away punches at Piccolo who was struggling not to get hit.
Fear nearly consumed Chichi until she was hit with the memory of a conversation.
"Kakarot! What happened to your tail?" Demanded Vegeta as he glared.
Goku blinked, taken off guard by the unexpected question and the severe tone.
"Oh,... Kami had it removed from me." He answered simply.
"Removed?!" Vegeta snapped, eyes widening in anger. "Kakarot, you can't be seriously telling me you let Earth's defender deprive you of your great ape transformation?"
"Ape-wha?" Balked Goku, flying slower thanks to his confusion.
"A true Saiyan warrior would never have tolerated it." Vegeta snarled angrily at the lack of self-respect for one's own Saiyan ancestry.
"Your huge primate form is now lost forever. When Freiza is pulverizing your face in as you lay in the dirt, don't even think to come crying to me about it, you fool!"
Goku was now even more confused.
He briefly considered asking Vegeta whether or not he was drunk. He was talking nonsense like Master Roshi when he drinks too many beers. He cast a quick peek behind himself at Vegeta.
"What does an ape have to do with my tail being gone? Did I miss something?" Asked Goky desperately.
Chichi was equally confused as Goku.
"Sweetie, could you kindly explain to Goku and I what you're talking about?" Chichi softly asked.
Vegeta sputtered, dumbfounded. He had assumed that they both would be aware of the helpful transformation that Goku had once possessed.
"Neither of you know about how a planet's full moon gives a Saiyan the ability to transform into a giant ape if their tail is still attached?
Is that really him? Chichi wondered.
slightly trembling and staring in fear at the huge ape, Chichi walked out of the forest and into the grassy land.
"V-Vegeta?" Chichi questioned the large ape once she had gotten close enough that she was sure it could hear.
The great ape's ear closest to Chichi flicked and the beast looked over at her with its red eyes.
Chichi's body stiffened at the eye contact that was made and her teeth clenched with fear.
Vegeta's expression softened slightly at the sight of her and cockiness filled his red eyes. Now his woman could see him in the form that was closest to the grandeur he could get of a super saiyan. So far, anyway.
The look of boastful pride in the ape's eyes striked familiarity in Chichi.
"Is that really you Vegeta?" She questioned with more confidence.
Vegeta stretched out his hand for her on the ground, offering her to get on.
"Yes, it is. Quit impressive, don't you think?"
Chichi took his offer and climbed on to his furry hand.
Vegeta lifted her up to be on eye level with him.
"I'd say so." She answered in amazement.
The princess could feel the warm breath of his nostrils hitting her as he gave her his trademark smug look.
