Cyber Hero
Chapter 10
This will be a bit of a mixed story bag. For starters, I'm going to have Izuku go a bit of a different way compared to his mentor. While also setting some new storylines up. Namely, a story to bring some new members into the team. But that will have to wait a bit. On with the show.

After transforming into Agunimon, Izuku felt an excited rush go through him. "This is so cool! I wonder if this is what it's like for the other guardians?" Izuku said before throwing out a few more punches. Baohuckmon and Strikedramon elbowed Izuku to remind him of the situation they were facing.
"Oh right. This guy is really messed up. Let's take care of Parasimon!" he said before retaking his stance. Yui meanwhile was looking at everything with her eyes wide. Not only because the boy who helped her was back and had a new transformation. But also because of the strange feeling of Witchmon and Renamon's healing skills.
Once her wound was closed up, she asked the question that was burning in her mind. "What the Hell is going on?! And who are you people!?" Renamon winced before raising an eyebrow at her and asking her to stay still.
"Izuku's got his hands full as is. And frankly you'll get in the way if you try to help." While Yui was a bit insulted by that, the fight she could see told her that the fox Digimon wasn't wrong.
Strikedramon sprinted in first and started cutting away at the tendrils the Mega Digimon was using to attack. Baohuckmon came in next and used his blade tail and legs to cut through to get close to Sato.
But he wasn't the one who would hit the boy. "Pyro Torando!" Agunimon shouted while creating the rotating pillar of flame. Parasimon tried to lash out again, but the flames and the cutting attacks from the two dragon Digimon reduced the ability to attack. And also set it on fire.
At the last second, Agunimon appeared from the flames and roundhouse heel kicked Parasimon in the face. Before bringing his other leg around to kick Sato in the face as well. "There we go! That at least broke his head loose!" the warrior of flame said before landing.
His hands were engulfed in flames and he started unleashing a barrage of punches on Sato and the legs that Parasimon had dug into him. "Don't let him bite back down!" Agunimon shouted as the insect like monster tried to reattach himself to Sato's head.
"On it! Strike Claw! And Strike Fang!" Strikedramon shouts before using his claws to cut through the limbs of Parasimon. Then setting himself on fire and grabbing the offending Digimon's mouth. "No, you don't! You're not keeping your claws in this kid!"
Baohuckmon then leapt up and used Blazing Flame to burn off more of the limbs. "And I'll keep him from sinking his claws into you!" the quadruped dragon said before using Dragless Spiker and Fif Cross to cut Parasimon again.
"Just a bit more. Million Gatling Burst!" Agunimon shouts before upping the speed of his flaming fists. Taking a bit of inspiration from Endeavor to increase the heat and force of his blows. His flames turning blue for a time as he pummeled both Parasimon and Sato.
Finally breaking the big lipped boy free after surrounding them all in a pillar of blue flames. "HAAAA! PYRO PUNCH!" Izuku shouted before landing one more explosive fiery blow to Parasimon's face.
It groaned as did Sato when the flames settled. Agunimon caught the boy and then flipped backwards to get him some healing as well. "We may not have much time for that Izuku. I think you made it mad!" Leomon says before taking his stance.
Parasimon seems to grow and lashes out at Strikdramon and Baohuckmon. They dodge easily and are ready for the next fight. "Alright then. Think you three can handle him?" he asked Leomon.
"What do you mean three? I'm not going to let you boys have all the fun with this." Renamon says before digivolving to Youkomon. Leomon smirks at her and digivolves to Grapleomon as well. "She's right! We can fight just as well papa!"
Hearing that from Witchmon shocks Yui. And the shock grows when she sees the witch who healed her become….. "What's with the strange vampire woman in a gimp suit?" she asked with a little gulp. And she shivered when Ladydevimon turned back to give her a look.
"Haaa… You know what. I believe in all of you. Take that beast down!" Izuku said. Confidence in his partners flowing through him and into his digivice. Which in turn empowered Baohuckmon up to Saviorhuckmon. But also brought out the Ultimate levels of two more.
"Youkomon! Digivolve to! Doumon!" as the fox like Digimon took on a form looking akin to an onmyōji. Strikedramon meanwhile felt a burning passion running through him as he digivolved as well. "Strikedramon! Digivolve to! Cyberdramon!" and the red winged black dragon man Digimon appeared.
Yui meanwhile tilted her head to the side and questioned if they inhaled something funny during the trial. "Nope. This is just the strange world that I've gotten used to." Agunimon said as he turned back into Izuku. With Tialudomon helping him to cover the injured.
Parasimon lashed out with it's legs and tendrils, but the two dragon Digimon were fast enough to evade and cut apart major portions of the limbs. "You two get close! I'll finish this with a bit of magic!" Doumon said before tossing up some shikigami and other talismans.
Ladydevimon denied that and took to the air to cover the others. "Darkness Wave!" she shouted as she unleashed a horde of bats to cover the violent Digimon. Cyberdramon backed off for a moment and waited for the next hit.
Once the bats cleared, Parasimon was surprised to see Grapleomon right in front of his face. "King of Fists!" he shouted before creating a small windstorm with his punch and turbines. As well as sending the insect Digimon up into the air.
"Nice one! Let's do this! Trident Saber!" Saviorhuckmon says while brandishing his three blades. Ladydevimon smirks before saying, "right nii-chan! Darkness Spear!" and turns her claw arm into a spear. This throws off Saviorhuckmon's timing but he still cuts through the body well enough.
Cyberdramon snorts before calling out, "Desolation Claw!" and shredding into the body of Parasimon. The large Mega Digimon crashes to the ground with no limbs intact. "Perfect timing. Exorcism Scrolls!" Doumon says before sending out a barrage of explosive talismans.
Once they were done, she pulled out her massive brush and painted a symbol into the air. "Hidden Gate Divination!" she shouted as the symbol was launched forward and impacted on Parasimon.
It's injuries prevented it from being able to fight back as it was removed from existence. As Doumon bowed in respect to the departed. "It is done," she said before turning back to the humans. Preparing some healing spells to fix up Sato primarily.
"Again; are you sure I didn't inhale something I shouldn't have?" Yui asked with a slightly panicked look on her face. Izuku chuckles before reassuring her that what was happening was real. "I've gotten kind of used to it. Now let's make sure you're okay."
Izuku checked her over and the other hero course students. He nodded when he noted that all the injuries were taken care of. "Now…. How do you wipe memories with this thing?" Izuku asked while looking over his digivice.
Yui was wide eyed at that and pleaded for him to wait. "Look, I won't say anything! Besides who'd believe me?" she said as a few of the Digimon returned to their normal resting levels. With Tsuikaimon flying down and resting on Izuku's head.
Monodramon and Ludomon were more suspicious. Noting, "maybe so, but you kids did disappear. We need some way to cover up what happened. Not to mention covering up the existence of the Digital World."
While they were saying that, Yui eased over to Tsukaimon with fascination and hearts in her eyes. She gently reached up to the little Digimon to try and pet her. And while Tsukaimon generally disliked girls (given what Izuku had been through) Yui hadn't given her a reason to distrust her.
So, the little purple Digimon let Yui get close and she started petting the Digimon. Which was a tad awkward for Izuku given he now had Yui's breasts right in front of his face. Renamon and Leomon had a little laugh at his expense but didn't do anything else.
Tsukaimon eventually leaned into the petting as it felt really nice having someone else scratching her. Izuku hummed while looking at the girl and down at his digivice. He still couldn't figure out the memory erase function, but there were two factors pulling his thoughts elsewhere.
The first was that Yui was the only one who was conscious. So it wasn't as though he'd have to do a group mind wipe. The other was that it wouldn't be the worst thing to have someone close or in the hero course who could keep him updated.
He'd barely made it back this time because of a coincidence. After he'd headed up to the colder regions again and helped Blucomon with an incident involving a Frozomon. After that, they were going through the digital waves to check in on the group down by Okinawa. And Izuku picked up on the warnings and alerts during the exercise.
"Okay. Here's some of the deal. If you could keep me in touch with what's going on in the Hero Course and have an idea for an alibi, I'd appreciate it. And won't erase your memory." Izuku said with a raised eyebrow while gently pushing Yui back.
She thinks for a second before smiling slightly and saying she knew just what to say. "So…. A strange hero appeared here and fought some villain that was controlling young Sato?" All Might asked with a confused look.
"Yeah. I didn't see him right away, but all of the sudden I saw a flash of light and then the hero appeared. You remember him right Jiro? It was that guy." Yui said while half lying. She was wide eyed and nodded while verifying more about the person who saved them during the Entrance Exam.
Jiro noted that, "he came out of nowhere with some weird little guys and then turned into that hero form or whatever. Never seen a quirk like that." All Might was a bit unsettled by this and asked what the hero's name was. "I had some trouble hearing it. All the noise around didn't help. But I think I heard…. Justice? Mono or mon? something like that."
All Might's blood ran cold hearing the second part of that name. "I…. I see. Well I'm not sure who this…. Justice or whoever they are is, but I am thankful to them. Wherever they may be," he said while looking up at one of the security cameras in the nurses office.
A fact Izuku noted but pushed it aside. "I guess that'll work. And it does make sense as an alibi and distraction," Izuku said with a shrug. Renamon agreed and noted that the girl could be helpful for later as well. "In fact…. I might have an idea. And I think it'd be great for a few involved."
Izuku looked at her funny and it turned to confusion when she told her idea. While leaving UA for the day, Yui was surprised at the tap on her shoulder she got. But when she turned she couldn't see anyone.
"Everything okay Yui?" Jiro asked with a tilt of her head. She could vaguely hear something but couldn't really make it out. "Yeah. Just huh? Oh! You go on ahead Jiro. I just realized I forgot something!" Yui said before running back to the building. Jiro and Kaminari just shrugged before catching up with a few of their other classmates.
Yui ran until she reached the stairwell she thought she saw Izuku before and looked around. "Glad you got the message." Izuku said while coming around the railing for the stairs. "Well it was a bit odd to find this, but I am curious on quite a few things. You least of all."
The young Tamer nodded before asking if she was ready to learn about some things that might be hard to understand. Yui nodded and had an excited gleam in her slightly monotone eyes. 'Okay, that's kind of cute. Focus!' Izuku thought to himself.
He then opened up a portal to Professor Bokomon's realm in the school. "Ah Izuku! Good to see you and…. oh who is this?" Bokomon asked with a tilt of his head. Yui meanwhile was slack jawed while looking around the area. Even more so when she saw all the other Digimon flying.
Including Tsukaimon who landed on Izuku's head again. "Adorable," she said with a blush. Hackmon took a moment to tease her and Izuku by saying, "which one?" And when Yui responded back with both, it made both teens blush.
Bokomon cleared his throat before reiterating his question. Yui introduced herself before asking about a lot of things. Bokomon was happy to explain many of the details, while Izuku walked along as his team gathered around them.
"So….. you work with these Digimon to protect us all? Across the whole country?" Yui asked with a slightly shell-shocked look on her face. Izuku scratched his cheek before just nodding and agreeing. But what she says next throws Izuku off completely.
"You might be the greatest hero in Japan. Maybe even further." Hearing this makes Izuku stop and he starts to feel some tears build up in his eyes. Yui notices this and asks what was wrong.
"It's not you. But what you said. That was something Izuku has been wanting to hear for a long time. And no one would believe in him or say he could do it. Outside of Terry that is." Hackmon says with an angry look. As do the rest of Izuku's Digimon partners.
Though Tsukaimon just looks cute while pouting, which makes Yui want to hug her again. But she also felt an urge to hug Izuku too. She pushed that aside and patted his shoulder before reassuring him that he was a hero.
Though this did bring up some confusion. "Why didn't you apply to be a hero if that was what you already are?" Izuku sighed and told her she'd see eventually. And that would come two days later. After quietly meeting and discussing a few things, Izuku thought it might be time to follow up on Renamon's idea.
"So where are we heading?" Yui asked after being brought to the Digital World. Izuku smiled and said, "you'll see soon enough. And I think you'll like it." Renamon then digivolves to Youkomon and lets the pair ride her to reach Primary Village.
Where Yui melts at the sight of all the baby Digimon. "They are all so cute! So what is this place?" she asked while hugging a Botamon. "This is the place where Digimon are reborn young lady. Or for some of us, it's a place where we retire/recover." Guts says while bringing in some food for the little ones.
Izuku smiles at him and asks if he was doing alright and how things had been again. With the old Gotsumon saying he was good before rambling about the past again. Something Yui noted though was that Guts seemed to be remembering a lot of pain as well as some good times.
When Guts was called away, Yui could finally ask about the older Digimon. "He was the partner of the, well he would have been the guardian before me. But he abandoned the duties and Guts in this world. I don't know how long it was on our side. But for Guts….. It apparently felt like he was left alone for centuries."
Yui was wide eyed hearing this and felt a lot of sympathy for the sad old Gotsumon. Even if she didn't show it that much. Especially at how it led to spiral of evil for a time before being stopped by Iuzku. This is when Renamon mentioned some of what she had in mind.
"Even if you aren't going to replace him as a partner or anything like that, maybe having another young human around might make him feel a bit better," she said with a gentle paw on Yui's shoulder. Yui gives the foxlike Digimon a small smile and agrees to help how she can.
Over the next day or two, Yui and Izuku would spend a bit more time with Guts and more of a spark seemed to show up in his eyes. But before that could go further, a new problem had emerged.
"That's another egg that is far too cold," an Elecmon said while keeping a greyed out egg close to itself. Izuku tilts his head before asking what the problem was. "Not sure how or why, but some of the digieggs are growing cold. We're worried that they may not hatch at this rate.
The young guardian hummed before suggesting that his team would check things out around the village. And when Leomon said he would stay to help with protecting the village in the meantime, Izuku empowered him to his Ultimate level.
"Kodai, I think you should stay here too. I've been introducing you to more peaceful Digimon. But there are many who are extremely dangerous. Ludomon, can you keep her safe?" Izuku said with a look to his little friend.
Who saluted and said, "no problem Izuku! I'll keep her covered and the rest of the Elecom and eggs as best I can." He said this as he was digivolving to Tialudomon and then attached himself to Yui's arm.
Guts offers to keep an eye on her as well. Him appreciating how she'd been trying to build his spirits up a bit. "I may be old, but I can still pack a lot of punch with my stones," he says with a thumbs up. With that, Izuku and the rest head out to check the area for danger.
Izuku and his team found the main trouble just in the forest outside of Primary Village. "Soulmon. Not good and definitely a problem." Renamon said while taking a fighting stance. "Too bad Leomon isn't here. We could use a bit of his help!" Hackmon says before warp digivolving to Saviorhackmon.
Monodramon sticks to Strikedramon for the time being as Izuku Spirit Evolves into Agunimon and Tsukaimon becomes Witchmon. "Let's clean these bullies up!" the witch Digimon said while floating on her broom.
While fighting through the waves of ghostlike Digimon, Agunimon felt something was off. 'How long have we been fighting? And where are we in the forest? They aren't….. trying to lead us away so another force can attack the village, are they?!' he thought while Pyro Punching a few into oblivion.
Izuku's hunch turned out to be right as primary village was currently being flooded by not just Soulmon, but a dangerous ally of theirs. A Skullbaluchimon that was chilling the area and affecting the various eggs.
Grapleomon grit his teeth before attacking the dangerous ultimate Digimon. Yui meanwhile worked with the Elecmon and Guts to save as many of the eggs as she could. With Tialudomon covering them as the Soulmon unleashed their own attacks.
"You won't harm these little ones! King of FISTSS!" Grapleomon roars before unleashing his cyclone punch. And while it does disorient the skeleton beast, the size difference limits the effect. So, he changes tactics and tries his Vortex Kick and Cyclone Turbine to do some more damage.
But this has unintended consequences. "Ease up on the wind! You're spreading his freeze further!" Guts shouts while using his rock fists to knock away the Soulmon. Grapleomon gasps and stops his turbines. But this also limits his attacks.
As the group were getting away with the eggs, more Soulmon swarmed them. Attacking from all angles and overwhelming Tialudomon. Guts shouted to the defensive Digimon but he was distracted as well. By trying to cover the group with his Rock Fists and giving some of the knocked away ones to Yui.
"There's no end to them!" she said as she threw one of the rocks and made it grow. Guts was thinking the same and was worried about what could happen next. He then heard Yui scream as the Soulmon knocked her down.
But even like that, she tried to protect the eggs however she could. 'She's not quitting and not running away. Just like the kid. Wonder if she was inspired by the boy…. Maybe. Maybe I can grow the same way? But I….. I can't become Starmon or Superstarmon anymore. Just Golemon and….. that monster.'
Guts leapt as he was thinking this and tried to cover Yui and the Elecmon as best he could. He thought back to meeting Toshinori, the two traveling together, learning about how Digimon and Humans could work together and grow, and then being abandoned.
'Even still. I didn't give up on wanting to achieve what we sought. I was bent by being left alone for all those years… but I have broken yet!' Guts thought as he kept fighting. "He may have left me behind, but the dream still stands and my hope is burning again! I'm not letting you touch these eggs!"
Upon shouting this, two things lit up. The first was Izuku's goggles as he was riding on Youkomon to get back to Primary Village. The other, was Toshinori's old digivice back in the real world. And it now showed a different symbol. The symbol: BAN-TYO.
"Gotsumon! Digivolve to! Banchogolemon!" Guts shouted as he began to glow and change before Yui and the Elemons eyes. A huge black gakuren jacket blew from around his shoulders. His right fist gripped tight to show his determination. And his left hand was now a massive drill like structure to blast through the Soulmon. Guts was ready to fight again.
Some of you might have seen that coming, but it just seemed like too good of a character to add and create! Plus I felt it matched just right with the situation I put the old Digimon in. He was hurt for a long time by what Toshinori did, and traded blows with Izuku and his team to break through his anger. Then he was reinvigorated by the heart the boy and Yui showed in trying to help those they barely knew. Felt like a good way to go for the old Gotsumon.
