The decisive moment of the match seemed to be approaching for the Super Hero Girls. Having managed to fend off the orb of the Seven Deadly Sins from Teth-Adam, reborn as Black Adam, the Super Hero Girls had a certain problem to solve now: With the union of Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batgirl, Green Lantern, Bumblebee, Zatanna, Spider -Man, Miss Martian, Shadowcat and Lady Shazam, they were dealing with a villain who was aiming to destroy humanity to make the world pay for everything that was taken from it in ancient times. Slowly, Black Adam's power grew to a point that no one could imagine at the time. Wonder Woman took the lead, throwing herself on top of the former champion, while Miss Martian and Green Lantern positioned themselves, containing the villain, next to the Amazon. Shadowcat then, became intangible again, attacking Adam and allowing Spider-Man and Zatanna, to combine part of their attacks, managing to contain Black Adam on the floor, however, throwing a punch on the ground, every part of the Rock of Eternity started to shake around, leaving everyone, including the Wizard worried about the atual scenario, asking himself about the possibility about the heroes in front of his eyes, should they fail on the task and letting the former Champion destroy the world.
"Watch out!" Throwing his webs on top of one of the rocks, Peter began to hold the wreckage with all his strength in his body, allowing Black Adam to attack the hero, throwing him back and with that, knocking him down, but in that, Peter put it into practice with the upgrade that he had elaborated with the help of Karen in his cartridges, throwing a web from his left hand and trapping it in Teth-Adam's body, it caused a huge shock in the villain's body, but it seemed to have no effect.
"Do you really think something like this will affect me, Spider-Man? I already see how this story will end and I refuse to let you or anyone around this place try to stop me." Adam was confident of triumph and that his victory would allow him to remake the world to his own will in the end, until out of nowhere, Peter flashed a smile, beneath the mask, proving the plan he now had in mind. With an enormous calm around his body, Spider-Man just nodded, leaving Adam confused with what was happening.
Looking back, Lady Shazam concentrated a good part of her powers, combining each of her gifts to attack Black Adam, allowing an opportunity for a counterattack, creating a small typhoon around Mary Bromfield's body, pushing Teth-Adam to the ground. back, just like the other heroes, making Megan Morse totally nervous.
"The combination of all those powers is putting her in a totally tricky position! If this continues, she will end up losing control!" Megan was worried about what Mary was doing at the moment, forcing her body to overcome Black Adam's power and manage to contain the villain at all costs.
Slowly, getting faster than imagined, Lady Shazam began to attack Black Adam, managing to bring the villain to his knees, giving the ideal opening for the Super Hero Girls. Wonder Woman then threw the Lasso of Truth around Teth-Adam's body, managing to hold the villain with all her might, however, concentrating one of his gifts, Adam created another typhoon around it, colliding with Lady's powers. Shazam and creating an unexpected stalemate around them and with that, each side was worried about what would happen now, not being too sure about what will happen at the moment. Peter then threw his webs on top of the ceiling, getting upside down and with that, he took the opportunity to try and enter in the middle of the hurricane created by Black Adam, allowing him to let every web in the villain's back, managing to hold Adam with all of his strength, the stage was set for a unexpected ending that would promise to leave everyone in worry about the scene.
"You can't beat me! As long as I have all this strength, they will never stop me!" Mary Bromfield analyzed every scenario in which she could use her powers and contain Black Adam, while fighting the former Champion chosen by the Wizard and the Council of Wizards, but with each attack, there was a situation that not even she was able to imagine. Slowly, Supergirl and Zatanna combined their powers to manage to immobilize Teth-Adam, but in a surprising move, Adam concentrated a little more of his true strength and with that, more electricity came out of his body, hitting both heroines and forcing each side to fight. get defensive, realizing where the fight was now going. Putting his Spider-Sense in the game, Spider-Man started to dodge every strike and with this, launched a web on a giant rock around, throwing the object in Black Adam, knocking him on the floor and leaving everyone around, surprised with this scene.
Even as the tide of fighting turned in the Super Hero Girls' favor, the conflict seemed far from over. Black Adam was still standing, in which all his anger seemed to be rising in a hard way. Against all the heroes and humanity around him, he raised one of his hands, allowing the power to flow around his body again, leaving everyone worried. Attacking the heroes with 100% of his power, Black Adam continued the fight against everyone, leaving each one on the defensive, while the Wizard was worried about what would happen next. Shadowcat then left her intangible body again, attacking Adam with overwhelming force. Using her magic, Zatanna conjured several chains from the ground, trying to contain the villain and in the same way, do the impossible in all of this, while everyone around started to put their gadgets and powers on the scene to contain Adam, letting everyone on the Rock of Eternity worried with this fight, almost impossible.
"Your role is over. It is time to do what is necessary and understand that humanity cannot be saved."
"We still have one last trick at hand." The Lasso of Truth was trapped in Black Adam's body and in that, Miss Martian used her mental powers to enter Teth-Adam's thoughts, leaving his body immobilized.
At that, Adam's eyes opened, watching Metropolis completely empty, with no one around, as a sign that he was seeing as if the plan had worked out in an unbelievable way. Starting to smile, Adam started to walk around, then started to fly, looking at everything around and with a mere feeling that everything had gone well, however, something was going wrong: He couldn't hear any voices, nothing. No screams, no noises, no noises to draw his attention.
"Hi!" Screaming, Adam looked up at the heavens, taking in his surroundings. Anything. Nobody. It was exactly what he wanted so much: A world without humans, but with no one around. - "Is there someone here?"
Flying around the world, seeing a planet devoid of life, the situation was so unexpected as to leave Black Adam worried about what was happening: A fate far worse than could be imagined at the current time. Slowly, realizing that there really was no one around the Earth, Adam began to get on his knees, worried and with an enormous fear around his body.
"No no no no no! This is worse than death!" This was something he hadn't expected. A huge void, with no one near him. 5,000 years trapped and alone because of everything that happened, and the sight of what he was seeing now, was the same feeling of being trapped in an almost eternal place. At that, Miss Martian appeared in front of Adam, leaving him worried. – "What is this you are showing me?"
"I am using my powers to project what will become of the future. If you destroy all of humanity, there won't be anyone around. The entire world will be empty, with no one inhabiting the Earth. You may even be able to do this, Teth-Adam, but you will be completely alone, just as your imprisonment was in the ancient times." Megan managed to get a worrying feeling involving Black Adam, even more so with the fact that she was getting too involved trying to use her powers to contain the villain in a way, showing a reality of what his ambitions and plans will do with Earth at the end of all.
Back at Rock of Eternity, a scream came out of Black Adam, to the point where it was a scream not of anger, but of pain and suffering, as he remembered everything he lost and the fact that he was condemning himself to the same fate. what had happened to him when he was imprisoned. The rage he possessed for having seen something he couldn't even imagine, caused several rays to come out of his body, to the point of making everyone worried, until suddenly, the villain disappeared in front of all the heroes, surprising the team in an unbelievable way.
"What… What happened?" Spider-Man asked, trying to understand what had happened, until the Wizard observed the scene, realizing that Black Adam had disappeared, being something out of the ordinary in his eyes at that moment, someone using his powers and abandoning plans.
"I used my abilities to show Black Adam what would happen if he managed to use the power of the Seven Deadly Sins to eliminate humanity. He saw that what was going to happen would be something far worse than the prison he was in." Miss Martian looked around at the heroes, worried about what she had just done. – "But let's say I designed something that even I wasn't able to imagine. Like I was invading his deepest thoughts."
"History has never been like this." The Wizard began to speak, while little by little, he remembered a little of what had happened. – "5,000 years ago, a tragedy befell the life of Black Adam, as he said before. His entire family ended up suffering a terrible fate when he had been chosen as the Champion, endowed with every power he could imagine. The same as Mary Bromfield wears before you, as well as all her brothers and sisters, with whom she shares this gift. In an uncontrolled rage, Adam destroyed Kahndaq's palace and we were forced to imprison him until I could find a worthy successor." Realizing that Adam really was a man marked by the pain and suffering of having lost everything he had, the Super Hero Girls began to get worried about this story, thinking about what would happen.
"And what will happen now that Adam is gone?" Wonder Woman said, with a huge fear about what would happen after all the fight we had, until the Wizard laughed, surprising the heroines.
"Do not worry. Wherever he is, Teth-Adam will have a lot of time to reflect on what to change regarding attitudes. But should he return, you'll be ready to deal with the unexpected. However, I am proud to see how the powers are being used in a good way." Speaking with Lady Shazam, the Wizard stated how successful his quest to find successors had been, which made him hopeful for the future. - "I think it's time to go home."
Opening a portal, the Wizard looked at each of the heroes, realizing how different things could be, but that the world could still have hope for the protectors and each of the purest of heart, trying to do what was necessary for what believed. Using his staff, he returned much of Rock of Eternity to normal, while believing in the fact that better things were to come.
At night, Mary returned to the school bleachers, trying to understand what had happened. But in an unusual way, the girl saw that she had not been the only one to do that, seeing Peter sitting, looking at the heavens and the stars around, leaving Mary very surprised about all of this. The mere feeling of thinking hard about everything that had happened made her wonder how much she had seen out of the ordinary. For Peter Parker, nothing was by chance, but suddenly, Mary approached, sitting next to the boy.
"I thought you'd be home by now after everything that happened."
"My aunt let me come back a little later today. I've been thinking for a while, Mary. Everything that happened left me a little worried." The boy looked up at the skies, thoughtful of the parallels he had just seen. It was a familiar feeling. – With so much power, people can have the ability to do different things for humanity. But what I saw now, that could have been me if I didn't choose to act on my responsibilities. Adam was taken by rage and a deep hatred for having lost the people he loved most in the world and was willing to use the powers he had to destroy the entire Earth. Sometimes I wonder what could have happened if I hadn't used my powers right, but I tell myself I don't know what I would've done if things went different." Suddenly, Mary put one of her hands near Peter and started to hold them, leaving the boy surprised.
"When I lived in Fawcett City, I saw my life flashing before my eyes because I always liked to challenge myself. Being the perfect student and doing what should be done to keep things constant. Then, one day, my foster brother gained the powers that I went to acquire some time later. With them, I could feel more accepted, determined, confident, I can feel a little different with them, but I know how complicated this mission is." Mary sighed, remembering a little about her past in Fawcett City, thinking hard about what she had managed to do so far. – "My old heroine name was Mary Marvel. When I came out to help people, everyone was amazed at what I could do, until I decided to change my name over time. There are things that surprised me, but even with everything I've seen lately, from the strongest bad guys, even things that we couldn't imagine now, there's always going to exist a motive for us to fight.
Peter gave a smile, while looking at the skies, until suddenly, Mary grabbed Peter's face, kissing his lips and leaving the hero surprised with this attitude coming from Mary, while trying to compose himself in the middle of the scene that just happened now.
"I have a girlfriend." Peter said, which made Mary smile back at the boy.
"I know."
Without hesitation, she kissed him again, while Mary slowly pulled away from the boy, keeping calm around her body, watching the stars again, the two smiled, seeing the constellations around.
"If you don't tell anyone about this, we can call it even now. It's just that my problems are being kind of complicated at the moment and I'm trying to forget about them for now."
Just nodding, Peter and Mary went back to looking at the starry skies, but now, the Web-Head was sure of one thing: It wasn't just Diana who was his girlfriend, but now, he was sure that Mary Bromfield also had a crush on him, leaving him worried. He wondered what else was going to happen, but right now, his thoughts were on the possibility of craziness breaking out around Metropolis.
Without the two realizing it, behind one of the trees in the school, Diana watched the scene, with a very surprising feeling around her, but in an unusual way, the Amazon had an expression around her face, which left her intrigued, with the thought that she had a much bigger plan in mind, but what could be going on around her body right now?
