Stein Prudens: Born 6,975AT Age: 55 at the start of Adventure Begins
Born in Macdan of the Brown Empire he lived a lonely penniless life. Raised as an orphan he has no memory of his father and mother, only knowing they died when he was baby. He had little friends and was known as an introvert who loved to read.
It was realised at the age of five that he is a child prodigy. Smart and showed small draconium mag skills. His guardians wrote to the priesthood to come and see the child. A priestess arrived to test the boy. He succeeded by grabbing a block with a mag pull. Without assistance power ups from a dragon, she was incredibly impressed and took him into the sanctuary. Where his training began. At age seven he excelled so well it caught attention of the gold priesthood, they decided to take him to Loan. Where it became his new home.
At age ten he passed his first test of fighting skills and knowledge of history. Followed by gold dragons and priests to mutate his bones. As brown draconium was his main colour, they used their abilities and tools to mutate it to gold. It was his first exposure to alchemy between metals. It is successful as he felt stronger with the change of his power. He gained the attention of a few priests who saw his potential. Them all wanting to have him as an apprentice.
Stein was a serious student who took his studies and training seriously, more so than the other students. He desired not to have the full luxury of friends believing to be better alone. To counter this the priests forced him to socialise. It took him months but he finally gained friendships with other fellow students. Serena, Cornelius (rumours spread that it was more than a friendship), Derek and Xena becoming his group. Eventually in time he learned to socialise and made peace with everyone and learned how to public speak.
At age sixteen he was chosen to be an apprentice to high Priestess Tulia, the second most highly respected priest in the order. He was honoured to be chosen and gladly accepted. He followed her everyday as instructed, including to be her steward. For he must never forget to be humble. They became very close as he had to admit he saw her as a mother figure. But he could not say it out loud as they will eventually part ways to forward his own career.
At age twenty he graduated and became an official priest. Having his first meeting with Emperor Odysseus, Empress Mariana, young prince David and Aelius. Witnessing the royal court As Odysseus tested him in font of hundreds. Whispering important questions of noble houses and senators. Which he succeeded easily impressing the Emperor. Through many of these sessions he became friends with many high borns including Lord Nero from Inclementia.
Soon after he and Tulia scouted for orphans where Stein first met Mali. First pitying the boy he decided to choose him and his friend Samira. Lying to Tulia that they showed natural draconium magic skills.
Twenty-five he and Tulia both travelled the world as representatives for the gold empire. Making communications with other royals and priest sanctions. After travelling he was finally to choose his first apprentice. Choosing Mali to everyone's surprise, as the small man trained hard to perfect draconium arts and gear making. Stein trying his best to keep their relationship strictly professional. But it was futile as the charismatic boy charmed him. They ended up becoming close friends.
At age thirty his old master Tulia is voted to be next Elder Priest. Stein followed her footsteps as she believed he can be the next Elder.
He joined with Aelius to rescue the seer of the past Erastus Ovideus.
Then everything fell apart. The Dragon Separatist war began when Odysseus and David died in an explosion killing many. Devastated he helped advise his new charge the newly appointed Emperor Aelius. Even though the young prince felt far out of his depth.
Struggling to come to terms of a harsh changing world. He helped support Aelius and Laelia through their darkest days which evolved to many years. From losing Empress Marina with her dragon labelled as tailor to the grand prince falling in a tragic accident. Around the death of the Grand Prince Odysseus he grew suspicions of Lord Nero, noting his strange behaviour. Himself not fully acting on it, is one of his largest regrets. For he did not know what was going to take place in the future.
The night of tears he was asleep when Tulia awoke him as loud noises could be heard outside. He and her trying to save other priests and apprentices such as Mali. The temple burned behind them as they fled. Having no choice as many of their old friends and young ones have been murdered. Them trying to find the Emperor and his wife.
Finding Aelius and Laelia in the underground sewers they managed to escape by Tulia staying behind. Her insisting as she is powerful to hold them off. Stein knowing when her life extinguished as they fled the city. Him now becoming Elder Priest by default. A job he desired so much but now it was all for naught, with so few of the left in numbers.
The beginning of exile he and Mali parted ways. Trusting Mali to find other priests and apprentices to see if others escaped. He along with everyone made up new identities to protect themselves. Stein renaming himself as Marcus Dane a travelling writer. He kept up with his façade for five years in exile. In that time he felt truly lost as he felt his real identity is disappearing.
In the fourth year he once again returned to his birth home of Macdan. Where they stayed safe for a year. However the Black Empire
In the final year of exile he tested Laelia to find out she was pregnant. Him then becoming her medicals advisor/ midwife. He loved Aelius and Laelia like family, always helping when needed. He like Aelius encouraged Laelia to return home to Aquarius City. Which she declined saying Aelius needs her and brings up the idea to visit Grand Prince Arman Kaiser.
They reached to White, Red, Blue, with all three refusing to help.
Emperor Arman Kaiser discovered about the secret rendezvous. Delivering the information to the league of eight. The Grand Prince warned Stein, so they fled with a head start. This time to return to the Light Blue Empire.
The final fight began as many of their friends in the group were immediately killed. Aelius being a last line of defence he remained behind. Knowing that his cause is finally lost... Stein with a very injured Laelia helped deliver her baby. A little girl named Iolene... The name that Aelius wanted to name her. But for Laelia it was too late, she was dying as she bled out. Devastated he tried to use healing magic on the dying Empress, but he wasn't strong enough or practiced the power enough.
Stein then getting a surprise to see Misty, Laelia's dragon. He passes the baby on to her as the league of eight were coming. He can sense it... He fought all eight of them as Misty fled with the infant.
The fifteen year torture and mind control. Used as a mindless slave, the Black Empire used his information of ancient destructive weapons and retrieve them. Travelling around the world and successfully finding them until one day he and Kenneth cross paths.
Nicodemus: Born: 6,974 Died: 7,010
His dragon partner Nicodemus nicknamed Nico was an extremely proud black and gold dragon. He commanded a presence as gold scales coated most of his body. He helped command the dragons in the gold army and consistently wore gold armour.
Independent and headstrong he joked that he will never need a human partner. Proclaiming he never needed a bonemark and only went to a choosing ceremony in the temple as a joke. Little realising that Stein was to be his chosen human. Dumbfounded he had to be convinced to train with Stein. Apprehensive at first he only wanted to practice when he realised he can become more powerful. The two struggle to get along as they both have different personalities. But spending a long time together they managed to get along and become friends. With Mali nicknaming Stein the smart one and naming Nicodemus the dumb one.
He died in the raid of the dragons den during the night of tears. It was known that he was killed by the league of eight member Volaticus. The flying dragon grabbing by surprise on the bag and lifted him high up into the air. Tormenting him as she flew around and played him eventually letting him go as he fell to ground. Stein watching in despair and horror as his friend died.
However Nico did survive the fall, but his body was broken. They took his body to use his scales, organs and bones were used to craft weapons and potions. A fate that many gold dragons and priests faced.

Appearance: Dark Skinned almost ebony, he keeps his head bald and wears helmets as it is an old custom in the priesthood. Following Tulia's influence (who is always bald). Avoiding to care for his hair as he did not want to waste time.
He was strong and well built before the fifteen year torture. Becoming frail and thin, losing his mind after being under mind control for so long. He looked much older for his age, with sagging wrinkles all over his face. Now free from the Black Empire, his body is on a long road to recovery. Training regularly to regain his strength and improve his mental health.
He has large lovely green eyes. (Did not mutate into a bright draconium colour). With a strong jaw he has full lips that can show perfect white teeth when he smiles once in a while.
He is known to have a resting stern face. Which Mali jokes about time to time. As Stein with his awkwardness sometimes struggles with humour.
Mali Piccolo: Born 6,987AT Age: 43
Born in the outskirts of Loan, he was orphaned at a young age. His father a clock maker died of a heart attack and his mother also a fellow clock maker passed from the shivers. Leaving him all alone in the world as the rest of his family lived in Suravi, which is located on the northern part of continent.
Bullied for his tiny stature and large ears. He struggled socially by both children and adults. Teaching himself to read, he decided to use his intelligence as a weapon and defence. Knowing that he will never be a physical fighter. Practicing using his wits and charisma in front of the mirror to gain confidence. Deciding to practice late at night so no one could hear.
With his advanced reading skills he quickly befriended a fellow orphan girl named Samira. Who also got bullied for her large nose.
Together they became inseparable. Samira becoming the physical protector of the two as she is tall and quick. Mali wishing that it was him protecting her as he felt embarrassed with his lack of strength.
It was just them two against the world, until one day two priests showed up at the orphanage door. Mali and Samira being chosen by the younger male priest they were taken into the sanctuary.
Mali immediately loved the priesthood. To his surprise some people treated him with kindness that he was not used to. Even seeing other Suravi people. To his sadness he is shorter than they were.
At age twelve he excelled with his academic studies and was chosen to be Steins apprentice. He was so excited as many of the others called out favouritism.
Mali like Stein followed his masters footsteps closely. Which meant lots of political meetings and travelling. He was his personal steward and learned quickly from him. While also trying to teach his master how to develop a sense of humour and the meaning of sarcasm.
During this time he became good friends with Laelia and Constant. Two senators from different countries. He worked with them to upgrade and fund orphanages.
Mali grew romantic feelings towards Samira, even though it is forbidden In the priesthood. Proclaiming his love to her against Stein's instruction. But to his sadness she did not feel the same way. He understood... For he realised she loved another man. It was a hard time for him to cope as he tried to repair his broken heart. Only coming to the conclusion that her happiness is important and so he let her be. Samira ended up leaving the priesthood to marry a general in the Emperors army. With Mali being her best man and Stein officiating the nuptials. He visited her on the rare occasion during his free time and was labelled as a guardian to Samira's son Badru. He was very proud to be Badru's guardian and treasured the role. Writing to him often and sent him books.
The night of tears happened as he sleeps in the chamber next to Steins. Waking up to fights and screams they both escaped with Tulia.
Mali and Stein separated as Mali wanted to find others and protect who survived. It was a dangerous task, but it was what he felt he needed to do. Mali later nicknaming this the twenty years of hell. He managed to find a few surviving apprentices. As a few died and lne of them betraying him and the few left. Only Mali survived in the end.
He developed alcoholism to cope with everything. Spending much of the money he found on drinks. Becoming a hairy hermit and scaring the locals. Someone then tried to sell him to slavery to Dominus Sahara which he then met Khafra. The orange dragon brother of Emperor Asotele III. For which he gave Mali hospitality and hope. He was set free and decided to go to Mille Voix where he reunited with Constant. Happy that he survived the night of tears.
Mali deciding to travel the world. Loan has been renamed Dragon City and has changed drastically. Also visiting the white and purple Empires. Deciding to meet Khafra again he travels to Dominus Sahara where he meets Aaron.
Atlus: Born 6,988 Died: 7,010
His dragon a large beast. He is very well known to be brash and tempermental. He had the gift of human tongue as many gold dragons did at the time and loved to quip against humans. He was brash and strong as he was easily the most muscular gold dragon born in that time. He loved to fight in the gladiator pit against priesthood orders. However he loved it and Mali encouraged him with Atlus eventually becoming a world champion. He loved wearing the medallion everywhere he went bragging about his victory.
During the night of tears he was killed by the much larger dragon Colossus. Crushing Atlus to death with his raw strength.

Prince Murray Rivers: Born 6,998 Age 32 In Adventure Begins
Second child to King Marlowe, he is the heir to spare to his older sister Grand Princess Nerida. Like his older sister he works with senators and other politicians. But unlike his sister he travels as a representative for the royal family's interests.
Smart and capable he loves his duty like his cousin Laelia whom he barely remembers. Watching meetings between his father the King, senators, highborns and common folk. He desired to be like his father and pursued similar interests. He one day wants to be a close advisor to his sister Nerida the future Queen.
At the age of seventeen he knew about Iolenes true heritage soon after she was brought to the city as a baby. It was impossible for his father to hide the truth from him. So his father made Murray pledge to secrecy as Iolene is sent to the temple.
Murray in his spare time writes letters to his little second cousin. Even helping to sneak her away from the temple for a getaway to Watersgate. Where he first met her since she was a babe.
He is a man of a more serious nature as he learned to refrain his behaviour as befitting a prince. He is less athletically inclined compared this siblings. With his sport being dragon dressage and knows basic fighting techniques with a sword.

Born into a prestigious family he was raised in the best life any parent could offer. He was close friends to many of wealthiest families of the country. One of them being the future Queen, Avery.
Raised to command slaves he befriended one. Constant naming him Louis. His father found out about the friendship and immediately sent him away to the Orange Empire as punishment. Constant devastated rebelled against his father for the sake of the slaves he decided to take a path into politics. However he despised how Mille Voix worked their affairs, with many highborns disagreeing with many assassination attempts. As a solution, he decided to move to Loan as an ambassador for the Turquoise Empire. Which the king permitted as the King liked him enough but nicknamed him a slave lover. He much preferred to live there away from the assassination attempts.
He left politics completely and went home to run his family businesses. Where his wife overrun while he lived in Loan. His wife and him having continuous arguments
Eidith his only child was born in 7,009. Born as a male Constant raised them to be the next heir to the family business. Eidith was struggling with herself as she hated learning about the business. Instead loves to work in fashion design and desired to be a socialite with the other noble families, much to Constant's continual disappointment. Until one day he receives a shock of his sons transformation. He no longer had a son... Which resulted onto a massive argument between the two. He shunned his child for a few months. Eidith moving out to the country home. Angry, Constant struggled to come to terms of his child's new identity. Eventually accepting her as his daughter, they are still his child. Constant worked hard to repair his relationship with her. Changing all of the documents to her new name and gave her money to create her designs.
Constant then naming his niece Valerie Mercer as next heir and Viscountess to the family business. Where she lives in the country side where she oversees the farms of grapes, wines and strawberries.

Eleya Cardoso: Born 6,965 Age: 65
Born in Suravi she came from a large family she was number ten out of eleven children. Chaotic and noisy as they all lived top side in a small three bedroom house. Poor farmers she helped gather berries and forage wheat.
She married a man named Jack Ward. Having two children Marik and Daisy. Where they continued to live a simple life. Jack working as a digger for Suravi, Threffolt, Zutapp and Destra. Meaning he was away for much of the time. But he earned a decent living. Eleya spent her time raising her children and working as a farmer on her family's farm.
Her home was then under control of the black empire. Everything changed. Majority of her family fought against their armed forces. Where many were killed, with her parents being slaughtered trying to protect their land.
The Light Green Empire lost the war in a week. All of her family died as she cried in anguish. She along with many others tried escape the nation. Her being lucky as she snuck into a crate that is being shipped to the purple Empire. She was starving and sick when purple empire opened the box. Managing to escape their grasp she was homeless in Drascus. Moving from place to place avoiding guards and Black Empire soldiers.
Eventually she landed into a delivery to the Light- Blue priesthood inside a crate of preserved fish. Akvor their leader wanted to send her back to the Black Empire. She cried and begged to stay, until Iolene fought to keep her as a hand maiden.
She served Iolene faithfully, cherishing the young girl. With Iolene reminding of her deceased children.
