I was in a bit of a tough spot. I didn't know where to place my allegiance. On one hand, Jenny (the girl I had turned Jeremy into) and Annabelle had been supportive of me ever since I had arrived in Mystic Falls. They were like family to me, even though Annabelle was actually family as was Elena. On the other hand, Klaus was my biological father and even though things started out weird for us, he did seem to love me. It was difficult because one side wanted to kill Klaus for all of the damage that he had done to their lives.

I was still staying in the Gilbert house. There was a part of me that did not trust Mr. Saltzman for some reason, but I didn't really have a reason why and I was not able to kill him anyway because he had a sort of magic resurrection ring that I did not understand.

Elena and I were running together. She wanted to get stronger without becoming a vampire and I decided to help her. It was still fairly warm considering it was September. Part of me wondered if I could change Elena's appearance so she wouldn't look just like my sister, but there might be rules of magic that prevented me from doing that.

"Wow you run fast." She told me as she took some breaths.

"That's because I'm a werewolf and a vampire." I explained. I noticed a guy running near us and noticed the smell. "You need to start running again. He's a hybrid."

We both began to run. I had to make sure to run at human speed as not to lose Elena while we still were trying to lose him. I realized that I could have grabbed her and ran at superspeed but I didn't want to make her dizzy. It looked like we lost him…before we noticed him right in front of us. I wouldn't be surprised if Klaus had told him to follow us. It was possible he was following Elena because for some reason she was important to him.

"Sorry." He apologized.

"You need to quit following us." I replied. I then realized that maybe I shouldn't let him know that I knew who he was. "Sorry, I'm a bit cranky. Didn't sleep so well."

"Have a nice day." He told us before he left.

Later the two of us met up with Bonnie at Mystic Grill. I had changed into a black tank top and jeans.

"Is it weird that I feel paranoid all of the time?" Elena asked the witch.

"Both of you should probably be paranoid." Bonnie replied. I wasn't afraid of my father. "You tried to kill him and we don't know what he wants from Alex."

"Aleksandra." I corrected. I did not like being called anything else.

"Why hasn't he done anything yet? It's like he doesn't want revenge." Elena remarked. Maybe he didn't want revenge. He told me that hundreds of people had attempted to kill him and perhaps he was just numb to it by now.

"Maybe he doesn't." I proposed.

"It's driving me crazy because I don't know if he's going to do anything." Elena declared. Maybe that was his revenge: not doing anything but making her believe that he was.

"I keep having these dreams about these coffins and the witch house." Bonnie stated. I didn't know what witch house she was talking about. "There's four and Klaus is in one of them."

"Maybe they're my uncles. He does have three brothers." I proposed. That did leave the question about the fourth one still.

"It could be a premonition." Elena offered.

"I think it's just stress." Bonnie countered. "I'll figure it out. What are you doing about Sammie? Have you seen her at all?"

"She betrayed us Bonnie." Elena said. You know I wonder if changing Stefan's gender changed Elena's sexuality. I would have to test that. I also wanted to turn Damon into a girl but I would wait for that. "The Samantha we knew is gone."

"How's Damon handling it?" Bonnie inquired.

"You know you could ask him yourself." I remarked as I noticed Damon at the bar. At that time, Annabelle and Jenny came wearing matching uniforms. Well I supposed all uniforms were supposed to match. I wanted to change the uniform to cute skirts, but I didn't have a spell to do that. It was probably smart that Anna got a job too because otherwise they might be doing unfavorable things.

Later, I was playing darts with Damon while Elena sat close. I was beating him.

"I still can't believe my sister." Damon said. "She traded her freedom for Klaus's life, even though she would have been free if we had killed him. It doesn't make sense."

"Are you okay?" Elena asked.

"What makes you think that I'm not okay?" He retorted.

"It's noon and you're drunk." I replied as I through another bullseye.

"It's not your most attractive look." Elena retorted. I personally thought that he would be more attractive as a girl.

"What is my most attractive look?" Damon flirted.

"I'm not saying you have attractive looks," Elena replied. That sounded like denial to me. "I'm saying this is my least favorite."

"I will take a note of that." Damon declared. I kind of wished that there weren't so many people around so I could cast the spell. "I will try to make some improvements."

"Don't mind me. Keep up the playful flirting." My father replied from behind us. What was he doing here?

"Are you really gonna do this here in front of everyone?" Damon asked. Did Damon think he was going to kill him? "That's a little beneath you, isn't it?"

"I don't know what you're talking about. I just came to my local pub because I fancied a drink with a mate." Klaus stated. Why did he sound so British? Wasn't he born here? "Would you get us a round, Tony?"

Tony was the hybrid that we had seen when we were running. He had definitely sent him to spy on us.

"I'm surprised that you stuck around long enough for happy hour." Damon declared.

"My sister seems to be missing and my daughter is still here." Klaus replied as he looked at me. Also why was the dagger still inside of Rebekah? "I need to sort those things out."

"It shouldn't be too hard to find a crazy blonde." Damon said. It seemed like Damon was naturally dim.

"Well this the truth is I've grown to like your town." Klaus replied as he grabbed a dart. "I think I might fancy a home here. I imagine you're all wondering how does this affect you and the answer is not in the slightest. As long as I get what I want and everyone behaves themselves, you can keep on living your little lives however you choose. You have my word."

"And what is that you possibly want?" Elena asked. I didn't know if I wanted to live with him but if I did, it would be my choice.

"Well for starters you could tell me where Samantha is." He said. Did he want me to do a locator spell? I actually didn't know where she went. That was probably something that I should figure out.

"Samantha skipped town as soon as she saved your ass." Damon replied.

"Well that is a problem." Klaus declared as he threw the dart at the bullseye. "Your sister stole from me and want back what is mine."

"That sounds like a problem between the two of you." Elena noted.

"Well this is me broadening the scopes, Love." He responded.

Later, I was at the Gilbert house with her and Mr. Saltzman. He was preparing dinner because apparently my recipe was too spicy for him. We were waiting for Jenny and Annabelle to get home from work.

"So is it really okay if Aleksandra stays here?" Elena asked.

"Don't you own this house?" I questioned.

"So do you think that your dad will stay by his word?" She asked me. "I feel worried about Jenny."

"I don't know him. You've literally had more interaction with him than I have." I pointed out. I probably should have gotten to know him better but everyone that I talked to made it sound like that was a bad idea.

"It's okay to be worried." Mr. Saltzman declared. "It's proof that you're still human."

"You know I'm not human and I still worry about things." I remarked as Jenny walked in. I wondered if Annabelle was outside.

"Hey, you're just in time. We're almost done." Elena told her. Jenny looked so hot but I promised myself that I would let Annabelle have her.

"No thanks, I was just coming in to get changed." Jenny replied. Wouldn't Annabelle need to get changed as well.

"I thought we'd all stay in. You know we could have a bit of a family dinner." He proposed. Well technically, we were all related, but not to each other. He was Elena's stepfather, I was her distant aunt and also Annabelle's cousin and Jenny was Elena's cousin.

"Why would we do that?" Jenny asked in surprise.

"Maybe it's because you've been spending all of your time with Anna lately." Elena answered. "I know she's outside."

"Can we do this later? I really have to go." Jenny requested.

"Why don't you have her come inside instead?" Mr. Saltzman retorted. Why were they so mad at her? Did they just not like Annabelle or something? She really wasn't that bad.

"What's taking so long?" Annabelle asked as she came inside. "I thought you were getting changed."

"Elena do you not like her?" I questioned.

"I don't want to talk about this right now. I just want us to sit down and have a meal together." Elena remarked. She was acting really strange for some reason. Was this some sort of side effect of the spell or was she just worried that Klaus might go after her sister. I then noticed that Jenny started to walk outside almost like she was in a trance. Oh no Klaus was going after her sister. I rushed outside.

Jenny was just standing in the middle of the road. She must have been compelled somehow. I saw a car rushing at her. I decided to use a spell to slow down time so I could rush over and grab her. I got her out of the way and restarted time but as I was doing so, everyone else was slowed down and I hadn't noticed that Mr. Saltzman was also trying to save her and ended up getting hit by the car. The car was being driven by Tony but I was unsure how the ring would work since it was technically the car that killed him.

"What the hell happened?" Anna asked as she came out.

"Who called you Jenny?" Elena questioned.

"It was Klaus." Jenny remarked. She seemed to be okay.

"You were compelled. Where is your bracelet?" Elena asked as I noticed that she wasn't wearing one. I thought I saw it earlier.

I carried Mr. Saltzman into the house and put his body on the couch. I hoped his ring would work. Elena called Damon and he pretty much came over immediately. Maybe I should start working on the spell.

"How is he?" He asked as he entered.

"Dead but he was wearing his ring." Elena explained.

"Jenny, what happened to your bracelet?" Damon replied.

"I don't know. I don't remember taking it off." Jenny stated,

"I bet I know." Elena responded.

"I didn't see her take it off either." Annabelle remarked. "Look I'm sorry for kidnapping you but I'm not working with Klaus. I love Jenny."

"You know Klaus was at the restaurant. He literally could have taken it off her himself." I pointed out. Everyone looked at me. It was probably more likely than Annabelle doing anything.

"Well I know what he wants. Klaus wants us to find the coffins that Samantha stole containing his dead family members." Damon stated. His hair was already starting to get longer. "So we need to find the coffins and give them back to him."

"Is that really the best plan you can come up with? How do we know that he'll leave us alone if we give them to him?" Jenny asked. I couldn't even vouch for him since I didn't know him. I wanted to believe that he wasn't a monster, but a lot of things led me to believe that he was.

"Do you have a better idea?" Damon asked. He was getting shorter.

"How about we just move. We can pack our bags and go." Jenny replied. I really didn't think that would work.

"That's not going to work. He will follow us wherever we go." Annabelle replied. "Also my father is in one of those coffins. Maybe we should give them back."

Jenny then angrily stalked up to her room.

"I'll talk to her." Annabelle volunteered as she too went upstairs to Jenny's room.

"Maybe we should give Rebekah back to him. It could buy us some time." I proposed.

"Or she could just kill Elena for stabbing her in the back." Damon replied. Elena looked at him. "Let's go talk to him."

The two of them left. They needed me to stay around watch Jenny and Annabelle and also Alaric's body. I had a feeling the transformation would complete by the next time I saw Damon. I had gone with something slightly different than the other ones.

You would think that after hundreds of years of being alone, I would be used to by now. Sometimes I wondered if I was using my powers the right way. There were probably better uses for them than changing guys into girls. I could probably fight Klaus with them but I didn't know if I wanted to. I had long lived a life of vices and doing whatever I wanted, but that was also a life of loneliness. Sure I was the only one of my kind, but I wanted friends. I wanted love. I wanted my sister, who still wouldn't stay in one place long enough for me to talk to. I probably shouldn't even still be in Mystic Falls, but I liked these people. I had found a family. For the first time since I became a vampire, I felt like I belonged somewhere.

Elena soon returned to the house and I found that Alaric awoke. Something seemed wrong. He looked like he was in pain.

"How's Jenny?" He asked.

"You know just normal teenage angst." I replied.

You know he looked seriously injured. Did the ring only bring him back to life but not heal him?

"Are you okay?" Elena asked before he sneezed up blood. Why did I need to do it?

"Oh my god. Aleksandra you have to heal him." She told me.

"I don't remember the healing spell." I replied. Elena went and called 911. The paramedics arrived pretty quickly.

"You know let's not and say that we did." Tony replied. He compelled them to go away. I was starting to get sick of him.

"Shut the fuck up." Annabelle replied as she reached into Tony's chest and ripped his heart out. She then bit into her wrist and fed Alaric her blood. "Hear drink this."

I cannot believe that I forgot we could do that. Maybe it was because I had never actually used my blood to heal anyone before. I was selfish like that. I felt so stupid and self-absorbed. I needed to run. In fact I needed to do something to clear my head. I headed out towards the woods and took off my clothes. A lot of werewolves said that the transformation was painful, but to me it was peaceful. I could run without knowing where I would go or what I would do. I was pretty good at not killing people because I liked to avoid them. I just didn't know where I would be when I changed back. It turned out that I was in front of the Salvatore Boarding House. The only downside was I pretty far away from my clothes.

"What are you doing out here?" A girl asked me. Yeah the spell had worked. She looked like she was the same age as me. She looked like Damon with dark brown and eyes but was closer to my height. She was wearing a short V-neck purple dress.

"I changed into a wolf and I kind of ended up here." I explained. "I'm probably the last person that you want to see right now. You being like this isn't all that it's cracked up to be."

"Ugh stop wallowing. At least come in here and put some clothes on." She ordered.

I couldn't believe it. I was pretty sure that I had a crush.

So Aleksandra experienced a bit of an existential crisis in this chapter. She also turned both Damon and Jeremy into girls. Danielle is played by Selena Gomez and Jenny is played Gage Golightly. Will our heroine be able to conquer her depression? Please don't forget to review.
