Chapter 21

Harry and his group fought their way through the seventh floor, wiping out the enemy as they went. Harry smiled, hearing the sounds of combat a little ways away, but still on the seventh floor. That would be Ginny's group.

Harry, Lily, Fred, and George continued to push through the corridors, clearing rooms as they went, but they were encountering less and less. A testament to how most of the Dark Lord's forces had either been in the towers themselves or were responding to try and repel the invaders that came through the passageways.

Harry's group incapacitated the last of the Death Eaters in their area and they rushed off in the direction of the fighting they could hear and went around a corner to see Ginny, Sirius, Rebecca, and three others facing off against a dozen Death Eaters.

Harry launched an explosive curse that engulfed two of the Death Eaters facing one Ginny's group members while his group unloaded a volley of spells that brought down half of the Death Eaters. Taking advantage of the Death Eaters being assailed from their rear, Ginny, Rebecca, and Sirius quickly struck down another four, leaving only one remaining Death Eater who was stunned by the other two fighters in Ginny's group.

"What took you so long, love?" Ginny asked with a grin as Harry moved forward and embraced her before he pulled back and took a hug from Sirius.

Harry glanced around fully realizing that Ginny's group of twenty five only had six remaining. His own group had shrunk to fifteen.

"I think this floor is secure now," Sirius said. "We should move down and reinforce James's group."

"Alright, there's several stairways down to the sixth floor, so let's split into four groups so that we can hit the Death Eaters from multiple directions and we won't have to worry about them flanking us," Harry said, and the rest of them nodded, so they split into four groups of five. Harry took Lily and three others down one of the stairways into the sixth floor, finding that Jame's group was routing the Death Eaters on his floor. Harry suspected that with not a ton of vantage points on the sixth floor, and the only real way in either from towers or from other floors, the Death Eater's had not manned the floor with many Death Eaters.

Harry and his group joined the battle, striking down a few Death Eaters who had been too focused on James's remaining group, and hadn't expected an attack from the stairways. This only compounded as the rest of Harry and Ginny's groups started striking from down the hallway, behind the Death Eaters, having used the other stairways.

Caught in a crossfire, the remaining Death Eaters dropped, and Harry was happy to note that they'd only taken two casualties that he could see from when they'd started the final push on the sixth floor, though he was sure others had taken some minor injuries, even if they weren't showing them. Harry and Ginny's combined group now numbered twenty, and James's group was thirteen in total.

"We'll reorganize," Harry said, "and then move down to assist Alicia's group on the fifth floor."

The various team leaders started to nod in agreement when several patroni appeared.

"The fifth floor has been taken and we're moving down to the fourth, but Alicia is currently fighting Lestrange alone on the fifth floor," Sarah's voice spoke through her rabbit patronus. "Someone needs to help her!"

"Facing heavy resistance on the fourth floor," Ron's terrier briefed. "Could use further assistance. Death Eaters are coming up from the third Floor. Minerva's group might have been overrun."

"Death Eaters are being pushed back towards the Great Hall and entryway," Langston's deep voice came through a grizzly bear patronus. "Witcher and Dumbledore's groups have breached the doors. The more of our forces that we can mass, the more we can crush those that remain."

"The fight on the first floor is well in hand," Isabelle's voice came through her phoenix patronus. "Death Eaters are starting to flee up and down."

"Heavy fighting at the gates," Grindelwald's voice came through a thestral patronus. "Reinforcements for both our forces and the Death Eaters have started a massive battle at the gates. The Dark Lord is currently with those reinforcements. The more he kills, the greater the likelihood our reinforcements flee, and we'll be outflanked and outnumbered if we can't claim the castle by that time. Moody and my battle groups are moving to the gates to engage and stall for time."

Harry looked at the three groups now with him. "The rest of you move straight down to the fourth floor. I'll go assist Alicia."

Ginny, Sirius, and James nodded in understanding.

"Good luck," Ginny said solemnly, and Harry nodded before he shadow traveled, appearing near where he Sensed Alicia was, since she was powered up, not even bothering to conceal her position. He appeared and quickly dodged an organ dissolving curse, and watched as Alicia with a fierce glare on her face continued to meet Jason spell for spell, unleashing violent and destructive curses with impunity.

Harry honestly had to admire her skill, even if he always had been aware of how good and deadly she was. This universe's Jason looked a bit impressed himself, likely not counting on Alicia to be this skilled, but Alicia and Jason had spent years honing their skills to levels rarely matched by anyone, and while Alicia wasn't Jason's exact equal, she did seem to match up against this Jason fairly well.

"You must die!" Lestrange spat, "Avada kedavra!"

Alicia spun out of the way, and that's when Harry jumped into the duel. He launched a volley of expulso's chaining them together, using a method he'd invented after the war. Lestrange shielded himself, and then glared.

"You have no part in this," he growled out. "She must die!"

He conjured a wall, and then launched all the bricks of the wall separately, some lighting on fire, others covered in acid and smoking, some covered in ice.

Alicia and Harry both reacted, Harry throwing up the strongest shield he had, stacking several different types of shields behind the first, creating an airtight defense. Meanwhile, Alicia hit the floor with transfiguration, causing it to roll in a wave in front of them. As it rolled towards Lestrange, the floor intercepted many of the stones, causing them to shatter, interacting with others, and soon Harry's shields had taken up everything.

Alicia's floor spell stabilized as it reached Lestrange as he countered the spell, glaring at Alicia and Harry, and then he launched a blast of pure energy at them, which Alicia and Harry met with their own, connecting the spells and starting a power struggle.

**HP**

Isabelle scowled as she struck down another Death Eater. Having just received reports from various patroni, she wanted to crush the remaining Death Eaters on the floor and then move to assist those who really needed it.

There were only a few remaining Death Eaters left, since most had fled either down to the main floor, likely hoping to find strength in numbers or possibly even flee the castle, while others had fled up, probably thinking they could either find support or find someplace to hide away from the fighting.

Isaballe watched as Daphne struck down another Death Eater, and then a quartet of goblins, deflecting spells with their blades and shields, rushed forward and cut down another four Death Eaters.

"I'm done with this!" one Death Eater yelled out, and Isabelle grinned savagely as the remaining ten or so Death Eaters seemed to agree and started running away.

Isabelle's team didn't let them get away so easily, and managed to drop four of them while they were running, while the remaining six disappeared down a flight of stairs towards the main floor, where Isabelle knew they'd be caught in a crossfire.

She glanced around. They still had roughly forty goblins and about twenty five wands. Plenty in order to split their forces and assist both the main floor and start assaulting up into the second floor while the forces from upstairs converged down.

"Gornuk!" Isabelle called over to the lead goblin in her group. "Would you prefer to add your goblins to the melee on the main floor, or would you prefer to continue clearing hallways and move up?"

Gornuk scowled and then said, "We will find blood on the main floor. Our shields will help entrap the remaining Death Eaters."

Isabelle nodded. "Very well. Daphne, take half of our wands and join them."

Daphne didn't look happy with the order, but she nodded, grabbing a dozen or so wands and followed Gornuk.

"The rest of you are with me," Isabelle said. "We're taking the second floor!"

A cheer went out as the remaining witches and wizards followed her as they rushed towards the stairways that would take them up.

**HP**

Ron grinned as a mass of Resistance fighters started pouring out of the various doorways that had stairways up to the higher floors. Things weren't looking so bad now. He'd almost been worried for a moment.

Ron had thought Kingsley was going to die after Lestrange blew him into a wall but right as Lestrange launched a organ dissolving spell, Ileana had appeared, and deflected the spell, taking over the duel with Lestrange from Kingsley, and saving his life.

Ron had heard that Ileana Silva was a powerful and deadly witch, but watching her was a surefire way to really snap that fact into place. She was so fast. He was sure that he'd seen some of his friends move that fast, but at the moment, he really couldn't remember when.

All he knew was that she was a whirlwind, matching Lestrange with everything he could pour at her, and then finally showing why she was the most feared warrior in all of South America when she managed to land a double cutting curse on Lestrange, one in his left side, and the other clipping his cheek.

Lestrange had grimaced in pain, shot off a volley of curses at Ileana to cover him, and fired another two killing curses at other resistance fighters before traveling away. Unfortunately, his leaving, while helpful for Ron's people, still didn't negate the damage he had done, nor did it mean that the Death Eaters just gave up. Instead, as Death Eaters continued to pour onto their floor, Ron began to feel like the Death Eaters had decided that this was their floor to make a stand.

At that point in time, Ron's group, with Ileana's reinforcements had been down around sixty wands, and twenty or so goblins remaining, but it seemed the Death Eaters and suits of armor almost doubled them, which did not make for good odds.

Now though, he smiled grimly as Ginny, Sirius, and Rebecca ruthlessly cut through five Death Eaters that had been poaching Ron's people from behind cover. Right behind them were Marlene, Lily, James, John, and Jamie, all who were taking advantage of having flanked the Death Eaters.

The tides were turning on the fourth floor. It was only a matter of time. Though he suspected, based on the patroni, that James, Ginny, and Sirius might shadow travel to the battle being waged at the front gate. Voldemort needed to be killed if they really wanted this battle to end.

**HP**

Jamie was trying her best to not panic, but hearing that the third floor might have been overrun had not helped her peace of mind. Her husband had come through a passageway with Minerva's group to the third floor. If they had been overrun, then what happened to Fred?

"We'll find him," Ginny's voice came from her right, and she turned to her sister in law as they followed their people down to the fourth floor, where they could hear a battle taking place.

Jamie nodded, taking comfort, but hoping with all her heart that Ginny was right.

"Grab your dad," Ginny said. "You, me, your dad, and Becca will head down to the third floor and see if we can find out what happened to our compatriots and see what can be done."

"What about the fourth floor?" Jamie asked, despite everything in her wanting to just nod and agree.

"The fourth will be fine. It's being swarmed by multiple teams. The Death Eaters are already starting to be overrun," Ginny replied. "We'll be fine."

Jamie nodded, and quickly sped up , past where her groups were starting to join the fight, which really was extremely chaotic, and signaled her father who didn't even ask, and immediately nodded and followed her back to Ginny and Rebecca.

Ginny smiled grimly and they made their way to a stairway, and swiftly moved down the stairway. Jamie felt some relief as they made it onto the third floor and found it farely sparsely populated. It was clear the Death Eaters had either moved up to join the battle on the fourth floor, which would help to explain why it was such a large skirmish, or they had moved down.

Jamie only saw around a dozen Death Eaters total, and with her father, Ginny, and Rebecca, she was sure they could take the floor.

Jamie quickly launched a piercing curse into one of the Death Eaters facing away from her, knowing that it was a cheap shot, but the man wasn't in any position to dodge her spell. Rebecca, Ginny, and her father all managed to drop a Death Eater each as well, putting the remaining eight Death Eaters on the defensive.

Jamie shielded several unfriendly spells while her father launched a fireball that engulfed two Death Eaters who had taken cover in a doorway together. Ginny and Rebecca both shadow traveled, appearing behind the furthest Death Eaters and hitting them quickly with blasting curses.

The now four remaining Death Eaters started to panic, turning to fire in both directions, but in their haste and worry, they were extremely inaccurate, and they were all quickly cut down in the cross fire that Ginny and Rebecca had created.

As a team, they quickly started moving their way down the corridor knowing they had to make two turns before they'd be in the correct corridor that the passage was in. They stayed wary, knowing Death Eaters could be hiding in any room, or be around any corner, but as they moved, things continued to stay quiet on their floor. As far as any of them could tell, they'd taken the second floor.

Finally, they made it to the corridor they were looking for, and all four gasped, seeing the bodies strewn all over the floor. There were certainly dead Death Eaters among the bodies, but it was obvious that the Resistance team had been ambushed.

"I'll be the security," Rebecca said softly, and John nodded as Ginny and Jamie quickly started searching the various bodies, both hoping to find some of their people alive, but also hoping to not find their loved ones.

It wasn't long before they took their first hit when they came across Minerva's body, surrounded by five dead Death Eaters, two of whom they recognized as the Carrow siblings. Starting to fear the worst, they continued to search through the bodies, recognizing more and more of the various team members, but as they searched, they didn't see any of the three Weasley's that had been on the floor.

Starting to feel a bit more hopeful, thinking that Artemis or Apollo had gotten them out, that they must have been injured, Jamie continued to search . . . until they made it to the actual passage entrance and they found the bodies of Molly and Arthur Weasley.

Ginny gasped like she'd been punched in the stomach. Jamie didn't blame her. It was really hard to see the bodies of her in-laws. The Weasleys and the Witchers are basically second and third sets of family to Jamie, and while this wasn't their Molly and Arthur, it was still jarringly horrible to see.

Jamie was starting to panic again, and they carefully moved the elder Weasleys and then made their way into the passageway, blanching at the pool of blood in the immediate walkway. Fearing the worst, they followed the trail of blood, and Jamie let out a sound of pure exhilaration as she rushed to where her husband had collapsed against the wall, breathing shallowly, blood pouring from his stomach.

"H-hey, hon," Fred said weakly.

"Oh merlin, you're alive," Jamie sobbed out, "Thank merlin."

"Apollo!" Ginny called out, using her wand to try and stem the blood flow, and the phoenix flashed in, landing on Fred, and immediately started crying into his wound, causing it to close. Apollo trilled, and Fred weakly squeezed Jamie's hand before being flashed away to the field hospital for treatment.

Jamie let out a sob of emotions, and Ginny hugged her quickly, both of them taking comfort that he was still alive.

Katie was considered an exemplary duelist, but she knew she could only keep up with someone like Voldemort for so long, which was why she really was cursing herself for running at the bastard, firing off two explosion curses, which he shielded himself from with a vicious scowl, and responded with a killing curse that Katie dived out of the way of.

It might not be wise to engage Voldemort, but she couldn't let him continue his killing spree unchecked. The gates of Hogwarts had become a massive battlefield as people continued to show, joining the battle. Ministry members who had seen their chance to break from the Death Eaters, family members of those fighting, and random other witches and wizards who were trying to earn their freedom were showing in droves to fight the waning Death Eaters, but Voldemort too had brought with him at least fifty more Death Eaters, and several hundred Ministry of Magic employees, though it wasn't entirely clear how many of them were there willingly or there under the Imperius Curse.

Regardless, Voldemort being there to greet the fledgling resistance fighters probably wasn't what many of them had thought about when they came to join the fight, and as Voldemort continued to kill witches and wizards in droves, she could see morale weakening.

Things had seemed to improve when Grindelwald's and Mad-Eye's teams had come from the grounds and joined the fight, but then they'd seen Mad-Eye struck down by Voldemort swiftly, his body being torn to shreds with a single curse. Things had only gotten worse when Voldemort had struck down Greyback as he tried to take his revenge. Most of the werewolves had howled in anger and continued their rage-filled attack, but Katie had noticed some flee, and she'd certainly seen some of those who'd come to help them either apparate away, or turn on their previous allies.

Thus, we reached Katie's suicide run.

Katie conjured a flock of birds and launched them at the Dark Lord, using them to try and cover her blasting curse, but he effortlessly incinerated the flock, and blocked the curse, retaliating with a flesh-peeling curse, and a bone-destruction curse, that Katie barely managed to shield herself from.

Katie continued to trade spells back and forth with the Dark Lord, using everything Jason, Alicia, Isabelle, and Harry had taught her over the years to try and keep up, but she was losing ground, and she knew it.

Finally, her luck ran out, and she took a bone-shattering curse to her left leg, dropping her to her knees, and effectively removing her mobility. A killing curse flew her way, and she only could think about how she'd failed, when a mangled Death Eater body intercepted the curse, and two more mangled bodies flew at the Dark Lord, who blasted them apart, creating a gory red mist.

Katie looked to her savior and felt a mixture of gratitude and fear seeing Grindelwald calmly walk forward, power flowing off him in a cold, ominous way.

"I guess it's time to see which of us is truly the Dark Lord," Grindelwald said in a conversational tone before he launched a mummification curse, a dissolving curse, and a fleshrending curse at Voldemort..

Katie could only watch in awe and fear as the two Dark Titans clashed, using all manners of transfiguration and charms, curses, hexes, and powerful dark magic. She couldn't believe that she was rooting for Grindelwald with everything in her heart.

Jason spun out of the way, dropping the two Death Eaters that were fighting alongside Regulus Black, and then he continued pushing hard. Regulus was a fantastic duelist, and was giving Jason a run for his money, but Jason had too much riding on this, and it didn't help that he knew his wife was facing his evil doppelganger, which meant he wanted to end this fight now.

Jason swore to himself when Draco stepped up next to Regulus, both firmly setting themselves against him as battle raged all around them in the Great Hall. He didn't exactly blame them for considering him a threat and deciding to take him out, but he really wished they could have made this easier on him, as he spun out of the way of a volley of gouging curses.

He found himself slightly on the defensive, dealing with the two senior Death Eaters, something Jason was a bit frustrated with, since he hadn't really been on the defensive against one or two opponents in a while. Deciding to shake things up slightly, he used his sister's spell, and Draco and Regulus found themselves facing two Jason Witchers.

Jason and his clone started trading curses with the two Death Eaters, trying to enhance each other's attacks and defenses in order to overwhelm them, but they were doing an admirable job of keeping up with him, using a combination of their skill, but also tending to rely on their magical strength being enough to counter the halved power that his clones had.

Jason felt that, while the fight was going longer than he would like, it was going well, and he would be able to wear them down, but then Barty Fucking Crouch Jr. decided to join the party, and he had to bring two stupid goons with him.

Jason winced as he shielded himself from a volley of curses, but he felt the phantom pain as Regulus and Draco had capitalized on Crouch and his followers' attacks and managed to strike Jason's clone, destroying him. Losing the clone had some major drawbacks, one being that he felt whatever injuries his clone received, and two being that he lost half of the magical power that his clone had.

Jason worked to get his breathing back under control, using his Occlumency shields to block out some of the pain, and he started trying to rifle through strategies to help him against his quite tragic odds, especially since the majority of his allies seemed to be too busy with their own problems to help him.

Just as he was thinking his was going to have to try and hold on long enough for help to arrive, the two masked Death Eaters next to Crouch dropped to heart explosion curses.

"Come on, Jace, you can't be on the ropes from these losers," a familiar voice said, and Jason grinned as his sister stepped up on his left, and his grin widened when he noticed Langston Brown step up on his right.

"Sorry, sis, they're quite good," Jason said, enjoying the slightly apprehensive looks that had filled Regulus and Draco. Crouch was too insane to be intimidated, but he was sure Malfoy and Black had sensed the power of their two new opponents, and they already knew that Jason was a problem for them.

"Excuses, excuses," Isabelle responded. "Let's end this."

Jason nodded, and the three of them started a duel that drew the attention of many of the other combatants in the room. Langston was powerful, and he tended to power through his opponents, combined with his lightning fast reflexes, and he was starting to overpower Malfoy, especially since Jason and Isabelle were a power tag team, and were easily forcing Black and Crouch Jr. on the defensive, with the occasional attack towards Malfoy to assist Brown.

The room seemed to be holding its breath as three leaders of the resistance fought against Voldemort's top lieutenants. They continued to trade back spells. Regulus conjured creatures with fiendfyre that Jason and Langston struck down, while Isabelle created illusions that forced the Death Eaters to dive away from spells that weren't even real, her spellwork discombobulating for all involved.

Jason conjured spikes from the floor that Malfoy destroyed, while Langston shielded them from Crouch's gouging spells. Back and forth, bolts of fire and cursed energy, conjured animals, lightning bolts, and explosive blasts continued to be exchanged.

Jason was wondering when the breaking point would be reached, and who would make the pivotal strike, but it ended up coming from an unlikely source. Jason countered another attempt at fiendfyre from Crouch, while Isabelle put out a burst of fire from Malfoy, and Langston fired up a powered up explosive curse that shattered Black's shield, forcing him back from the backblast. From behind Jason, with impressive accuracy, a heart explosion curse flew through the opening and hit Regulus in the chest, and like his brother before him gasped in shock as he died.

Jason shielded his shieldmates while Isabelle concentrated her power with Langston and crushed Crouch Jr with a shield destruction curse and then a blasting curse so powerful that Crouch's body was blown apart and a red mist filled the air.

Malfoy scowled, and then in a move reminiscent of the Draco that Jason knew, shadow traveled away, causing a groan among the Death Eaters who realized their leadership had been defeated. While some continued their respective fights, fighting bitterly, others tried to flee or started surrendering immediately.

Jason turned with Isabelle to see Rebecca Black standing there with her wand, still pointed towards Regulus's fallen form, tears in her eyes, but also a look of extreme vindication.

"It may not have been a fair fight, but I got the bastard, dad," she said, just loud enough for Jason to hear. "I got him."

Lestrange was blown back, just barely managing to break the battle of power with Harry and Alicia. If he hadn't, he would have lost, and at minimum, would have had his wand arm blown off. Harry walked forward, not giving Lestrange much time to recover, taking advantage of the wounds and fatigue he must be feeling from having dueled many of the Resistance's top fighters throughout the night and his liberal use of shadow travel.

Harry cast simple spells, but still deadly with the power he was putting into them. Reductors, blasting curses, and Lestrange was barely shielding himself. Alicia had already blanketed the floor with anti-shadow travel wards restricting all of their movement, but the more Harry wore Lestrange down, the less strength he had to try and break through the wards. This ended here, and they all knew it.

Lestrange used Isabelle's clone spell, creating two copies of himself, one of which used an extremely complicated transfiguration which started causing the floors and ceilings to rotate around, while the other Lestrange started using more of Isabelle's moves, creating various illusions that concealed his movements and location.

Unfortunately for Lestrange, Harry wasn't someone who was easily fooled by these types of tricks. Not anymore. Alicia stopped the rotating walls while Harry sent a powerful mass canceling charm through the illusions, cancelling them out with power rather than technique. Harry then unleashed a powerful blast of magic that obliterated Lestrange's clone, leaving Lestrange gasping in pain and with ragged breaths.

Harry launched a piercing curses that Lestrange just managed to shield himself from, but it didn't matter because right as Lestrange's shield collapsed having stopped Harry's spell, a dissolving curse hit Lestrange in the chest, courtesy of Alicia, and Lestrange started screaming as his body started dissolving in a pool of acid.

Harry could feel Alicia's rage and one glance told him that she felt victorious, but Harry could only feel pity and sorrow for the loss, and as he looked into the dying eyes of Lestrange, he felt Lestrange push a set of memories into his mind, forcing them through with his legilimency.

Harry saw a three year old Lestrange, body covered in cuts and bruises, but still desperately trying to comfort his baby sister who was crying and looked extremely neglected. He saw an eight year old Lestrange, desperately trying to draw abuse on himself to save Izzy from the lust filled eyes of the worst of Voldemort's people. He saw a twelve year old Lestrange dueling with a ferocity that Harry recognized, before finally striking down his opponent, and rather than horror, Harry saw Lestrange recognize peace on the dead man's face

Memories continued to flash by until Harry finally gathered his strength and stopped them, knowing he had just gotten a better understanding of Jason Lestrange, and despite what the man had done, what he had become, Harry would mourn his loss. He might be the only one, but he would still mourn who he could have been.

Katie watched in horror as Grindelwald finally fell, struck down by a simple killing curse. He'd held Voldemort off for some time, showcasing exactly why he'd been such a feared dark lord, but unfortunately, he just didn't have youth on his side, and eventually, despite his experience helping him stay alive, Voldemort finally wore him down and then hit him with a killing curse that he didn't have the strength to counter. Still, Voldemort's left arm hung weakly at his side, and his robes were charred, with burning flesh being seen on his chest.

Voldemort leveled his gaze back on her, and she winced, having done a battlefield wrap on her leg, but she knew she wasn't in any condition to fight Voldemort, but she could feel the various fighters around her losing hope, and she figured she needed to do what she could.

Katie watched the killing cures head her way, when it was intercepted by a block of stone. She glanced in the directions from where the stone came, seeing that Harry had appeared on the field of battle and was staring at Voldemort who glared at him. Next to Harry were Jason, Alicia, Isabelle, Ginny, and Sirius, the majority of whom were starting to fight the Ministry employees and Death Eaters that had come with Voldemort.

Harry and Jason though both went straight for Voldemort, and Katie couldn't help but grin, thinking that Voldemort was over because if those two couldn't defeat the bastard, then nobody could. She watched as Alicia and Isabelle blasted down a few of the masked Death Eaters, while Ginny and Sirius started using transfiguration on the ground, which started absorbing Ministry employees sucking them into the ground, stopping their movements.

Harry and Jason both launched an extremely powerful spell at Voldemort that made Katie shiver as she felt the power that came from the spell. She'd only seen the spell, whatever it was, used once, and that was when Harry had killed Voldemort in her world. She'd never asked what it was, but now she couldn't help but be curious, though her curiosity was sated as Voldemort moved over, and raised a silver shield which took Harry's spell, but Jason's spell went past and impacted a Death Eater whose body froze, his body seeming to turn into stone, and yet something about him seemed to be alive, however Katie could Sense the extreme agony coming from the now petrified man, and she winced wondering what kind of spell that the two most powerful wizards she knew had used.

Voldemort conjured a giant snake that Jason incinerated while Harry launched water at Voldemort and encased him in a sphere. Voldemort managed to counter the sphere, but then was only partially managed to avoid Harry's bone breaking curse, which clipped his hip.

Voldemort fell down, launching black energy that seemed to come from him and his wand. Jason moved in front of Harry and Katie felt the temperature drop as he started chanting, and raised some sort of shield that was white and met Voldemort's attack.

Three Death Eaters shot spells at Jason's back, but Alicia and Isabelle both appeared in front of the spells and blocked them with their wands and Alicia's sword. Katie looked at Harry who was starting to almost glow with power and then finally he said, firmly, but loudly, "Anima Ignis!"

Katie watched as gold flames shot from Harry's wand, blew through Jason's shield and then started burning through Voldemort's attack, absorbing everything before it finally reached Voldemort who could only scream as he was engulfed in flames. Within only seconds, Voldemort's body had burned away, leaving nothing but his wand lying in a pile of ashes.

It was over
