Roger Davies was utterly relaxed.
He was due to become a first time father in a fortnight.
Now, the time was drawing near to think about selecting a name his daughter.
While he hadn't previously given much thought to what he would name his daughter, he wasn't worried either.
Somehow, someway, Roger felt quietly certain that the right name for his daughter would present itself in due course.
Roger felt nothing but a sense of peace and composure.
It was peaceful morning, and the sun was just rising from the east.
Roger was sitting outside on a white lawn chair quietly listening to music with headphones and an MP3 player.
During one particular song that Roger listened to, one line seemed to touch his soul:
"Just call me angel of the morning, angel."
That line seemed to send an electric current through Roger's heart and soul.
Hitting pause, Roger calmly and quietly thought to himself, "That's it. That's what I'm naming my daughter: Angel. To my lovely daughter to be, I shall call you Angel."
It felt perfect, but it also felt a bit supernatural.
Roger's insides felt as though they were receiving a message from the spirit of his daughter to be, as though this spirit was telling him that his daughter would want to be called Angel.
Besides, the nanosecond Roger's daughter came into world, she would be his angel, always, forever, and unconditionally.
Perhaps this was why Roger had been so calm about choosing a name for his daughter even as her time to come into the world drew nearer.
His heart of hearts had always told him that the right name for his daughter would present itself to him and it would click with him when it did.
That was exactly what happened.
Fittingly, a fortnight later, Roger's daughter came into the world just as the sun was rising from the east.
Holding his baby girl for the first time, Roger told Angel, "Angel Davies, you are my angel of the morning."
