Peter Parker had grown in New York reverring the race of superhumans that acted as a new pantheon of gods and worked with the aliens that brought them to life; Peter's Uncle Ben and Aunt May never really bought into seeing as beings to worship as they were not born as Gods and so they still celebrated Christmas and Hanukah but weren't like the vocal protestors who rioted and called them 'false gods' but when the superhumans came to bring the peace; the protests were soon taken care of due to how unmatched they were. Much better those protestors than those cults that worshipped that murderous monster known as Kid Miracleman. Still the world was for the most part a utopia and
He had been 15 when he had gone to a public science display and and bit by a spider hit by a special gene modifying ray; part of an experiment to create a way to fight back and take back the planet for the humans. He gained spider based powers and donning a costume and web-shooters; he took part in an open invitation wrestling show for superhumans but ended letting a criminal go free who would go and now acted as a vigilante taking care of those who tried to still cause people harm in this world as well as rampages but superhumans who went out of control and helping with the accidents that happen.
6 years later he couldn't believe it as he was invited to Olympus; the home of the superhumans which was the former London. Amazing to see Miracleman the leader of the pantheon and basically acted as top god of the pantheon; seeing the aliens and he was nervous as Miracleman's consort Miraclewoman invited him for a drink at a table.
"You confuse me Spider-Man; you use the costume and still insist on keeping to your old human life. Why?" Miraclewoman asked puzzled as Peter stayed silent thinking that Miraclewoman probably forgot what it meant to be human. "You still insist on clinging to your old life when you are now basically one of us; above humanity. Why choose to pretend that you are still one of them?" Miraclewoman asked and Peter sighed; growing up with a crush on her doesn't mean that he is going to back down from his views.
"I am not above humanity; my Aunt May and my Uncle Ben taught me everything that I know about being good. Helping people; with great power and great responsibility... We never saw you as gods and I don't either... Grateful for the protection but a little authoritarian and I still see us as humans." Peter retorted as Miraclewoman gave a shake of the head.
"I am not saying not to look after the humans; off course to guide them to be their best selves and I find nothing wrong with what you are doing in helping them and saving them when they need it as that is what we are here for. I have helped a man fix his marriage and his outlook on life but it would be much easier to embrace what you are. I heard about how keeping this foolish secret has gotten you into trouble with your Aunt and friends... Your dating life would be much better if you forgot the secrecy; Gwen and MJ could be happy living as your pets..." Miraclewoman and Peter stormed up and chucked his drink at Miraclewoman.
"They are not pets..." Peter shouted but realised who he was talking to; despite his own power Miraclewoman could just easily end his life in that minute by grabbing and snapping his neck. Miraclewoman didn't let him apologise as she wiped her face and smirked at him.
"The fire; I like it. Please come with me." Miraclewoman told him getting up and Peter felt nervous wondering where she was leading him as she had chosen to walk in a sultry way. Peter was stunned to see that he was led to her private bedroom which was like from a golden palace.
"Wait... Aren't you with Miracleman?" Peter asked stunned as she put her arms around his neck and she shook her head.
"You and your human concepts of marriage and monogamy." Miraclewoman and Peter reminded himself that she and the superhumans of Olympus have not only adopted the mindset of gods such as the Greek pantheon but also their practices. Peter was taken into a kiss that he returned and he let Miraclewoman take control when she moved his hands to her ass and soon their suits were removed and they were in bed.
After the best night of his life Peter woke up with Miraclewoman in his arms; "Amazing but... This changes nothing about what we are discussing..." Peter told her and she grinned as she pinned him to the bed.
"Was never the intention; you are going to be much more fun than Miracleman. He can be a bore and an idiot sometimes so you could be my favourite partner... That's if you are willing." Miraclewoman replied and he ended up pulling her in for a kiss as an answer; so was the start of a new part of Peter's life:
Arguing his worldview against Miraclewoman while also having her as a lover. Miraclewoman enjoyed the irony of Peter arguing about being still human while enjoying the perks of their superhuman society.
An idea I had based on the famous legendary Miracleman comics (lesser known is that this is Alan Moore doing dark superhero deconstruction before Watchmen) with a long complicated history from British comics getting around not being able to do Billy Batson Captain Marvel reprints anymore since the comics started being published to a long legal dispute over ownership and now Marvel owning the rights and Neil Gaiman able to finally finish his own comic saga and so far I am liking it but if you are looking for superhero comic styled fighting then this is not for you. Plus one of our leads Young Miracleman has some of those outdated views from his time so it was a little bit jarring to see the scene where this really is showed. Plus uncomfortable bits I won't get into. One more thing; weird Marvel Miracleman variant covers showing crossing over and a possible true crossover is nice but I would really like for them to be releasing a Marvel Legends figure of Miracleman.
