I do not own Harry Potter, or Star Wars.

Hello guys, Badger here. It has been a while, hasn't it. I apologise. After my second Uni semester started, I wanted to focus more on my studies and take a short break for a while.

However, I have now finished a new chapter. Some things may seem rocky during this chapter, as I took multiple breaks during the middle of writing, so things may have gone of the rocks a little bit. But that is all I will say for now, I will allow you to read on and enjoy. I will see you at the end.

Chapter 5

An Interesting Talk With A Chancellor

Obi Wan and Windu were standing, talking amongst themselves, as they looked at the holographic planets and stars that floated around their heads. They looked behind them, when they heard a door open. Yoda had floated in on his seat. His eyes scanned all the planets as they hovered in the air, before turning his attention to Obi Wan and Windu.

"Summoned, Harry has been, to the Chancellors Office" He said, as he stopped beside them

"Really?" Obi Wan asked, eyebrows raised in surprise "Why would the Chancellor wish to speak with Harry?"

"Know, I do not" Yoda replied "Wish to see how the boy is, I imagine, sent Master Fisto to escort Harry, so left alone, he isn't…progress, how is?"

"Progress has been better over the last few days" Windu replied "The maps have all been fully searched and scanned…however there are large chunks, specifically in the Omega Quadrant, that haven't been explored yet"

"We have sent Masters Shaak Ti, Secura, Stass Allie and Voss to the unexplored sectors, where hopefully, we'll be able to locate and pinpoint Earth" Obi Wan continued "We would have sent more, but with how the war has been, and the amount of Jedi we lost on Geonosis, we are stretched thin as it is, they were the only ones who were available…they set off just a short while ago, we should hear from them soon"

Harry smiled as Kit Fisto told him stories from when he was a Padawan. Harry was surprised when the Chancellor of the Republic wanted to speak with him, and he was less then happy when he was given a Jedi escort. However, Harry actually found that he enjoyed Fisto's company. In a way, the Jedi Master reminded Harry of Bill, Ron's eldest brother, with a hint of the Twins. Fisto was a more calm and laid back…man…though he also had a sense of humour. It was strange, but Harry was going to miss the guy when he went back home, that's more then he could say for a lot of the other members of the Jedi Order. Arriving at the Chancellors Office, Harry got a good look at the man in question, sat behind his desk, when the doors opened with a soft hiss.

Harry felt like there was something off about the man. When the Chancellor smiled, noticing their presence, his smile didn't reach his eyes. Something inside Harry told him to be cautious of this man. Shaking off the feeling, Harry walked alongside Fisto, who bowed as they stopped in front of his desk.

"Chancellor Palpatine" Kit Fisto greeted respectfully, gesturing to Harry "This young one is Harry Potter, the one you asked to see"

"Thank you Master Fisto" Palpatine smiled "You may leave us"

"Umm…with all due respect, I was asked to stay with Harry" Kit Fisto replied, a little uncertain

"I understand that Master Fisto, but I would like to speak with Harry alone" Palpatine replied, where unbeknownst the others in the room, his eyes glowed crimson for a brief moment, the same glow enveloping Fisto's eyes before it faded

"As you wish, I need to contact the Order anyway" Kit Fisto said, before turning to Harry "When you're done, come find me, I'll escort you back"

Harry opened his mouth to say something, but was unable to do so, as Fisto made his way out of the room, the doors closing behind him with a dull thud. Harry shook his head and turned back to Palpatine, feeling slightly uneasy with the way the man was looking at him.

"Please, feel free to sit down Harry" Palpatine gestured to a seat, which Harry sat down in

"Why did you want to see me?" Harry asked, getting comfortable in his seat

"As Chancellor of the Republic, I must keep in check with anything that goes on" Palpatine replied "It is part of my duty to make sure the Republic is kept safe…with recent events, I wanted to speak with you, see how you were doing…and I know it may mean nothing coming from you, but I wanted to apologise for how things were handled when the Jedi found you near the location of the strange readings…I'm sure you understand, but the war has gone on, with the war on Geonosis, Rishi Moon and Felucia the Jedi have been on edge"

"I guess I can understand" Harry replied, a little uncertain

He knew the Order of the Phoenix had been on edge, when he and his friends eavesdropped on their conversations, after Voldemort returned. It didn't help that a lot of people within in the Ministry, including the Minister believed Voldemort's return to be a lie. Harry remembered seeing an article in the Daily Prophet that the Minister stated that the 'lie' Harry made about Voldemort was a tactic to get Dumbledore in the Minister's seat. Still, Harry didn't believe it was entirely excusable for how he was put in a cell by the Jedi and he still didn't feel at ease sat opposite the Chancellor. Something just didn't feel right and a part of him was telling him to run, but Harry was too stubborn to run. The more he thought, the more he was worried about his friends. He could only hope he could return home soon, it was only a matter of time until Voldemort attacked the Wizarding World.

"You've been with them for a while now…nearly a fortnight" Palpatine commented "What do you think about them?"

"Why do you ask?" Harry asked, leaning in his chair, a little bit defensively

"Well…there are a lot of people out there who aren't too fond of the Jedi" Palpatine replied after a moment "They believe they are just the same as the Sith, but with different philosophies"

"The Sith?" Harry repeated

"Dark Side users of the Force" Palpatine explained "1000 years ago, they were believed to be extinct, but they've recently reappeared…whereas the Jedi believe peace gives them strength, the Sith use their anger and hatred to give them power and see the Jedi's beliefs as weak…however, for many in the Republic they see no difference between the two, with many systems claiming neutrality instead of choosing a side in the war"

"It makes sense" Harry said, looking down at the floor "Like you said…they see no difference between the two…why would they want to claim allegiance between two factions when all they see are two sides of the same coin?"

"You say that as if you've seen war" Palpatine said, leaning back in his seat, interlacing his fingers

"Well…before I ended up here, some people believed a war was inevitable" Harry replied after a moment

"Why is that?" Palpatine asked, his eyes glowing crimson briefly

Harry felt a tingling in the back of his mind, like harsh whispers telling him something he couldn't understand. The whispers grew louder and colder, causing him to shake his head violently to rid the voices. Thankfully the voices ceased. Harry wasn't sure what that was, but he didn't like it. The more time he spent in the room, the more he felt uneasy. He just wanted to get out of here as soon as possible.

"I'd rather not get into it, if you don't mind" Harry said after a moment "I'm sorry, but, can I go?"

Palpatine frowned for a moment, but nodded. Harry gave the Chancellor an apologetic smile, before he quickly left, looking for Kit Fisto. He wasn't sure what it was about the Chancellor, but he felt like there was definitely something about him that the man was hiding.

Whatever it was, Harry refused to be alone in the room with the man again.

Palpatine felt like throwing something, when the door closed after Harry left. He hoped to use the time talking to the young boy, to see if he could start spinning the wheel, turning Harry to the Dark Side, however it seems he has a lot of work to do. He tried using a forgotten ability of the Sith his Master taught him, that allows one to bend the will of an individual. An ability more powerful then a simple mind trick. However, Harry seemed to be immune. Palpatine felt the boy shatter the small probe, as he shook it off. He definitely seemed to be more powerful then the average Jedi, though he wouldn't be sure until he got a better look until what Harry could do.

If he was to turn Harry to his cause, he needed to work fast. He didn't have an eternity. Sooner or later, the Jedi were going to find Harry's home planet. Palpatine was going to have to be more tactful in his manipulations.

It was starting to get dark by the time Harry arrived back at the Temple alongside Kit Fisto. Ever since Harry left the Chancellors Office, he felt at ease. There was definitely something going on and he didn't like it, however it wasn't his problem. He had more important matters he needed to sort out.

"Well, this is where we part ways young Harry" Kit Fisto bowed, as they stopped at the entrance of the temple "I enjoyed your company"

"The feeling is mutual" Harry smiled

"May the Force be with you" Kit Fisto smiled in return, before he walked away

Harry watched him leave and was about to head back to the room he shared with Ahsoka, when something started beeping in his pocket. It was the device the man he hired had given him. Harry pressed the red button where he heard the man's voice.

"Hey kid" The man said "I have some good news for you"

"You've found him?" Harry asked

"No, but I have found information" He replied "After doing some digging I have found strange signals and reports of a man matching a description of the person you're looking for on a few different planets…I can take you there, I'm down by the Loading Dock Seven, you'll easily find me, I'm the only one there"

"Okay, see you in a minute" Harry replied, before turning off the communicator

Harry took a moment, to gather himself. He felt giddy. If what the man said was true, then he might find where Sirius could be. After checking to make sure he had his wand, Harry made his way to Loading Dock Seven.

Ahsoka rubbed her forehead, as she made her way back to the Temple. She had been walking around the markets, hoping to get her mind off things. She still couldn't stop thinking about what Harry said. She knew she was going to have to talk to him more. Find out more about the beliefs of his people and how they compared to the Jedi. Hopefully things will start to make sense if she found out more.

As she was making her way to the Temple, she saw Harry sneaking away, looking around to make sure no one was following him. Curious, she followed after him, wondering where he was going.

Harry made his way to Loading Dock Seven where, true to his word, the man he hired was waiting.

"Good you're here" He said, noticing Harry's approach "Dahar Starr at your service"

"Harry" Harry replied "How did you find the information?"

"You need to look in the right places" Dahar replied "Plus, you'll be surprised how fast word travels through the galaxy…you just need to ask if anything strange has happened and you'll learn some interesting things…I've put the locations down, where reports have been made, on a star map, I'll let you look through them so we can make a start in locating this man of yours"

"Harry…" A voice said

Harry turned, and his heart began racing, when he saw Ahsoka standing there, looking confused as to what was going on. He panicked slightly, trying to think of some excuse, before she ran back to the Temple, and alerting the rest of the Jedi.

"Ahsoka, umm…" Harry stuttered "You see…I…"

"I'm going with you" Ahsoka blurted

"What?" Harry said, slightly shocked

"I'm going with you" Ahsoka repeated "I don't really know what's going on, but there are questions I have…questions only you can answer…so I'm going with you"

Harry was silent, as he stood there. He wasn't really expecting that. Unable to think of a response, he merely nodded instead.

"Ok, I hate to break this up" Dahar spoke up, getting onto his ship "But this is a pay by the hour docking station and I don't want to have to waste all my credits, so let's get moving please"

Harry and Ahsoka nodded, before they too boarded his ship. The two got comfortable, as Dahar sat in the pilots seat and flicked a few switches, starting the ships engines, which allowed him to slowly hover into the air, before taking off.

Elsewhere, a man stood alone inside a facility. He looked at an Bacta Tank, tilting his head slightly, as if looking for something. It wasn't long until he was joined by someone else. A female. She stood beside him, also facing the Bacta Tank.

"How is our newest subject?" She asked

"Just fine" The man replied "Where did this one come from?"

"No idea" The woman said "Locals say they just dropped from the sky, appearing from thin air…we weren't able to find any records on them"

"Well that's good" The man smiled "Means no one will notice he's gone missing…do you think they will make a fine soldier?"

"The latest batch have proven themselves in training, I imagine this one will too" The woman said "However we have a long way to go until we are ready to strike…we need more soldiers before we are anywhere near ready…but I believe, soon enough, the Supreme Leader will give us the green light…the galaxy won't know what hit it!"

And that is the new chapter done. Was it good? Was it bad?

Again, I apologise it's been a while. Harry has now gone off looking for Sirius. You may remember me saying it would happen fairly quickly. Otherwise the plot wouldn't move along. Will Harry find him? Also, who were those two people at the end, and who was 'the subject'? I'll say this, the Sith and Separatists won't be the only threat Harry may have to deal with. And next chapter, Harry may have a surprise.

Before I go, I have something to ask? Do you use TikTok? Are you a fan of Harry Potter? If your response to both those questions were yes, then I have something to share. I made a TikTok account, purely for Harry Potter related content. If you are curious, then take a look at pestering_badger if you wish.

That is all for now. I hope you enjoyed and I will see you next time.
