Chapter 3: First day of Team RWBYL.
Lloyd woke up early in the morning. He looked around and saw that the girls were still asleep, which gave him time to get ready for class first so as not to watch the girls change. He folded his sleeping bag and quietly made his way to the bathroom. He took off his pajamas and stepped into the shower.
While Lloyd was washing up, Blake was awakened by the sound of water from the shower. Blake got out of her bed, still asleep, put on her flip-flops and went to the bathroom to check who was using the shower.
When Lloyd finished his bath, he took a towel and dried his hair. He noticed the door wasn't locked properly and went to it, but before he could grab the handle, the door swung open revealing Blake, who was rubbing her eyes tiredly.
There was literal silence between them. Lloyd stood there, his face deeply flushed, aware that he was standing completely naked in front of the girl, and Blake looked oddly calm. Her eyes fell on the blond's body and then rested on what he had between his legs, which made her face blush a little. Lloyd quickly closed the door and tried to forget what had just happened. Blake stood in front of the door, a feline smile on her face.
- (Now that's a katana. Even bigger than the ones I saw in my books.) -
After calming his nerves, Lloyd used his power to create a school uniform for himself. Taking a few breaths of courage, he headed for the door. When he came out of the bathroom, he noticed that the other three girls were already awake.
- Okay, I'm ready, so I'll wait for you outside and give you privacy so you can change. - Lloyd suggested, heading for the door. He didn't want the girls to think he was a pervert.
- Wouldn't you like to see what we have under these clothes, Green boy~. - Yang teased, showing her breasts a bit, making Lloyd's face red as a tomato.
- I'm not a pervert!!! - Lloyd shouted and ran quickly out the door.
- Yang Xiao Long, are you even thinking about what you're saying! - Weiss scolded. She was somehow able to tolerate Yang's awful sense of humor, but it had gone too far. She would never allow any boy to watch her change. If her family, especially her father, found out about this, she would be disinherited. The very thought terrified her to the core.
- It's not even funny anymore, sis! - Ruby added. She could never understand her sister's sense of humor, and she's not going to. If their dad and uncle found out, they'd come here to kill Lloyd for looking at them.
- Will you ever learn to tell a joke from a serious thing? - Blake joined in. Although she had seen Lloyd's 'sword', she had no intention of telling them, because if she did, she would never hear the end of Yang's teasing. She preferred to keep it a secret, but she wouldn't mind seeing his 'sword' again.
- Come on, can't a girl tease a boy once in a while? - Yang jokingly shrugged her shoulders, and received three pillow hits in her face as a response.
- Not like this! - Ruby, Weiss and Blake screamed in unison.
- Let's just change. Lloyd is waiting for us. - Ruby said, wanting to finally end this conversation. The girls nodded and started getting ready for today's class.
With Lloyd...
While the girls were getting ready, Lloyd was thinking about a very important thing.
Which of his skills could he use as his Semblance to keep others from getting suspicious of him?
- (Okay, what should I use as my Semblance? Elemental powers? No, too risky. Summon elemental dragon? I don't think any hall could hold a dragon. Airjitzu? No, it will be useless in combat. I'll just use Spinjitzu. Yes, that's more convincing. I'll just have to control my strength or I might accidentally send someone to the hospital.) - As Lloyd thought about it, four people came out of the room across from the RWBY team room.
The first one a tall teenage boy with dark-blue eyes that are emphasized by his short blond hair messily layered on his head with the right side of his hair nearing his right eye and the left side swept back. He is quite toned, having strong muscles in his arms, shoulders and upper chest. He has a similar uniform that Lloyd is wearing.
The second is a tall and quite muscular compared to most of the other girls at Beacon, has long hair that is in a waist-length ponytail, curled slightly into a loose ringlet. She has light-green eyeshadow around the far upper corners of her green She wore a standard Beacon uniform with black tights underneath her skirt.
The third is a male teenager with long black hair tied into a ponytail that ends midway down his back. There is a magenta streak on the left side of his hair. His eyes match the streak in his hair. He also wears the same standard Beacon uniform.
The fourth and final girl has short orange hair and turquoise eyes. She also wears the same standard Beacon uniform.
- Come on guys! If we go now, we'll reduce the chance of being late for class. - said the blonde, then looked in the direction of Lloyd.
- Hey, are you waiting for the Team RWBY? - asked the blonde.
- Yes. I'm waiting for them to finish preparing. I'm not a pervert who would just take advantage of such an opportunity. - said Lloyd.
- It's very nice of you. It shows that you are a true gentleman. - admitted the red-haired girl.
- Thanks. Ah! I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon, nice to meet you. - Lloyd greeted.
- Hi! I am Jaune Arc. - Jaune introduced himself.
- Hello, I'm Pyrrha Nikos, nice to meet you too, Lloyd. - Pyrrha greeted.
- I'm Nora Valkyrie! - Nora greeted almost screaming.
- Calm down Nora. I'm Lie Ren. - greeted Ren, trying his friend by the way.
- And together the four of us are called the Team JNPR. And may we know what you want from the RWBY team? - Jaune asked, as curious as the others.
- As of yesterday, I am the fifth member of their team due to some events. - Lloyd explained.
- Well, there are usually only four-man teams, but if Professor Ozpin put you on the RWBY team, then maybe he had a reason for that. - Pyrrha thought.
- Who knows? But for now, I prefer to deal with what is now. - said Lloyd. He did not hide the fact that he wanted to know it himself, so he would ask him personally, but it was in due time.
- Okay Lloyd, we're ready! - Ruby shouted as she and the other girls left the room. Ruby noticed the JNPR team standing next to Lloyd.
- Oh, have you met the JNPR team yet? I hope you got along? - Ruby asked, hoping nothing had happened between them.
- Yes, we are fine, but I think we should go now. Classes will start in 15 minutes. - Lloyd looked at the time in his Scroll.
- Yeah, the last thing we need is an angry Professor Goodwitch for being late. - Yang said, already getting goosebumps.
- Okay, let's go! - and so all nine students went to their classes.
Ruby, Yang, and Nora told Lloyd that Professor Port's lessons are terribly boring because he talks about his "gorgeous" mustache most of the time, and Professor Oobleck talks too fast, making it hard to get what he's talking about. Lloyd wasn't quite sure whether to believe it or not, but after finishing lessons with two professors, he knew they were right. In Professor Porta's class, he almost fell asleep from boredom, and in Professor Oobleck's class, he could barely keep up with taking notes. Lloyd wondered if what Professor Oobleck was drinking was coffee at all. Out of the corner of his eye, Lloyd noticed four students who weren't too focused on the lesson, but more on teasing the girl with bunny ears. He wasn't going to tolerate it, so after class he decided to teach them a little lesson they'd never forget.
Now it's time for a lesson with Professor Goodwitch. Weiss informed him that Professor Goodwitch was teaching, which Lloyd was very curious about. Lloyd had to make sure he controlled his strength so as not to hurt anyone.
- Quiet, everyone! In today's lesson, we'll see the skill level of our new student. Step forward, Mr. Montgomery Garmadon. - Glynda called.
- Understood. - replied Lloyd.
Lloyd was now standing in the middle of the arena with his sword on his back. He felt a bit uncomfortable with all the students who focused their attention on him.
- So... who will be my opponent? - Lloyd asked.
- Your opponent will be... Mr. Wukong. - Glynda said, and the summoned student entered the arena.
- I'm ready to fight! I'm Sun, by the way. - Sun introduced himself.
Sun is a tan-skinned boy with short spiky light-blonde hair and dark-gray eyes. He wears two red wrist bracers over black fingerless gloves and an open loose-collared white jacket with no shirt underneath, displaying his muscular physique. He also wears blue cargo pants tied up with a white belt. He wears white bandages on his legs and has a chain hanging from the belt loop on the right side of his pants.
He sports black and yellow sneakers and wears a twisted golden necklace around his neck with a round pendant bearing his monkey emblem. As a result of his Faunus lineage, he has a long prehensile monkey tail the same color as his hair.
- I'm hoping for a fair fight, because as far as I know monkeys are famous for all sorts of monkey tricks. - Lloyd said, joking a bit about the monkey faunus.
- Are you both ready? - Glynda asked seriously.
Lloyd looked up at the stands and saw the Team RWBY and Team JNPR cheering for him, which Lloyd greatly appreciated. When Glynda gave the signal to start the duel. Sun was the first to attack, while Lloyd stood still and waited for the right moment. Everyone, even Glynda, was curious to see what Lloyd would do. Sun's staff was about to make contact with Lloyd's face, but the Green Ninja grabbed the staff at the last moment and grinned maliciously.
-(Now!) NINJA - GO! - Lloyd used Spinjitzu and threw the monkey boy straight at the wall. Sun's aura immediately burst from the impact. When he stopped Spinjitzu, he approached Sun and gave him a hand.
- Are you okay, buddy? - asked Lloyd.
- Man, that was awesome! Was that your Semblance? - Sun asked excitedly.
- Yep. My Semblance is called Spinjitzu, if you must know. - replied Lloyd.
- Okay everybody. Finite class. You can go out. - Glynda said and they all headed for the exit. Glynda struggled to understand what had just happened. She saw that Mr. Montgomery Garmadon was holding back from using his true strength, but if he fought seriously he could seriously injure or even kill someone. She knows that Ozpin, Qrow and the RWBY team trust him, so maybe she could too.
Later...
Lloyd and the others went to the cafeteria. He was surprised at how many pancakes Nora managed to eat. Ren told him that Nora could eat more than she had eaten now. Everyone asked him various questions, which Lloyd tried to answer so that they wouldn't get suspicious about his origins. During their conversation, they heard the girl's scream. They saw four guys accosting a girl with rabbit ears.
The first one has burnt-orange hair that is combed backward with a slight peak at the front and indigo eyes. He wears the typical male Beacon academy uniform.
The second one is a teenage boy of average height and a slender build. His head is shaved with a light-green mohawk. He wears the Beacon Academy uniform.
The third has light-brown hair that is combed to the left. He keeps his eyes nearly closed, at a very noticeable squint, though it is unknown why he does so. He wears the Beacon Academy uniform.
The fourth has blue eyes and long, combed back, dark blue hair. He wears the same uniform as the others.
The girl has long, brown hair and brown eyes. She also has a pair of brown rabbit ears, identifying her as a Faunus. She is wearing the Beacon Academy uniform, which consists of a maroon blazer with golden brown lining and twin buttons over a brown button-up vest and white blouse with pleated looking neckline and a red ribbon tied around her black-lined collar. She also wears the traditional red checked with black stripes with golden brown outlining alongside white tulle. She also wears a pair of black tights accompanied by a pair of brown lace-up wedged sole boots.
- Who are they? - Lloyd asked, glaring at them.
- That is the Team CRDL and the leader is Cardin Winchester. The biggest bullies in the academy. They bully anyone they see as a target. - Pyrrha said with disgust in her voice.
- I told you to break their legs! - Nora said with a sadistic smile on her face.
- Nora, breaking the legs won't solve the problems. - Ren said calmly. Lloyd marveled at how Ren could tame Nora's hyperactive behavior.
- I've had enough of this. I'm going to teach them a lesson. - Lloyd said, leaving the table and heading towards the brawl.
- Hey, leave her. She didn't do anything to you. - Lloyd stood behind the tallest of the bullies, stopping his torture over the girl. Cardin turned to look Lloyd straight in the eye.
- She did. That people like her go to this school. - Cardin said, pulling the poor girl by her bunny ear. Lloyd could see that the girl must have suffered a lot, and his anger grew steadily.
- Isn't it because you're jealous that she's better than you. I've heard that in Forever Fall, the four of you could show us how to handle with Ursa, but instead of that you ran away like frightened little girls. Isn't that right? - Lloyd joked. Those who heard their conversation started giggle.
- Why you... ! - Cardin shouted, and he and his team charged at Lloyd.
Lloyd knew this was going to happen, so he used Spinjitzu at the last minute and pulled the four guys in. After nearly 15 seconds, two of them were thrown into the pillars, the third flew out of the window, and Cardin himself flew straight to the food table. Lloyd stopped using Spinjitzu and walked over to Cardin, who was soiled with various dishes, extending his hand to help him up.
- You're capable of more than some childish antics. You and your party don't realize that your behavior makes you the worst Huntsmans ever seen. I know you can change and I know you can do good. I believe you and you should believe in yourself. You need to know that true Huntsmens and Huntresses never give up and protect those who cannot protect themselves. I hope one day you'll understand that. - said Lloyd, uttering a few words of wisdom.
Cardin hesitated for a moment, thinking about what the blonde had said. Maybe he was right about what he and his buddies were doing, so no one in the future would ask them for any help when they became full-fledged Huntsmens. outstretched hand and took it with a slight hesitation. Lloyd helped him to his feet, using a little of his strength, because Cardin was taller and heavier.
- I-I'll think about what you said. - Cardin said, then called his team and they headed towards the exit. Lloyd looked at them one last time and hoped that what he said would change something in their lives. Then his eyes fell on the girl standing behind him.
- Are you okay? Did they hurt you? - Lloyd asked with concern for the girl.
- My ear hurts a bit, but it should be fine. - answered the girl with bunny ears.
- Good to hear, I'm Lloyd. A new member of Team RWBY. I'm still new in academy and I don't know anyone here so can you tell me what's your name? - Lloyd asked about her name.
- My name is V-Velvet. N-Nice to meet you, Lloyd. - The girl now known as Velvet introduced herself timidly.
- Velvet. A pretty name for a cute girl like you. - Lloyd smiled.
Velvet hearing that her name is cute and that she looks beautiful made her face turn red as a tomato and she ran from the cafeteria out of embarrassment. Lloyd just stood there and just watched. Did he say something that offended her? Not knowing what to do, he returned to the others.
- You know, I've lost my appetite somehow, so I'm going to go back to my room and get some rest. - Lloyd said, wanting to be alone for a while.
- Lloyd, if you don't mind, maybe we could play some video games? - Ruby asked timidly, hoping to spend time with Lloyd. Lloyd agreed to Ruby's idea and together with her and Yang, who also wanted to play with them, they went to the room. Weiss and Blake finished their meals and followed them, but to mind their own business.
Later, in the Team CFVY room...
Now we move to the room of another team of second-graders who spent their free time in their own way.
The first is a teenage boy with dark skin and dark, messy copper hair that has a long fringe and a cowlick. He wears a sleeveless, muted orange zipper vest with black lining and a high collar, a pair of black jeans, and brown , laced shoes. His eyes are pure white, showing that he is physically blind. His arms are covered in scars, and he has a vertical scar on his lips. He also wears a pair of long black gloves and has several pouches attached to his belt.
He was sitting on his bed reading a book written in a special language for the blind.
The second is a tall and athletic-looking young man with shaved-short black hair and tanned skin, who wears mostly pale-green and brown attire. He has a long short-sleeved robe, which he wears on one shoulder over a black muscle shirt . The robe is fastened at the waist by a leather armored belt with two pouches on it. He also wears brown pants and black-and-green boots. His left arm bears a 5-layer sode which extends up past his shoulder.
He also sat on his bed in a meditative position and trained his mind.
Velvet lay on her bed in silence, being in her own world. She was still thinking about her meeting with Lloyd. Her face flushed red again as she remembered his words.
- Velvet? A pretty name for a cute girl like you. -
Her heart skipped a beat at the thought of him. Was this what everyone called "love"? Was she in love with Lloyd? The more she thought about it, the more she didn't know what to do with those new feelings in her heart. The bathroom door opened to reveal the fourth girl.
She is a young woman with fair skin, short dark-brown hair, and dark-brown eyes. She has wavy locks on one side of her face, dyed with a gradient that starts as dark brown and transitions to caramel. She only wore a towel wrapped around her body.
- There's nothing like a nice bath after a long day of studying. huh? Hey Bun-Bun, are you okay? You've been strangely quiet today since you left the cafeteria. - said the girl and sat down next to Velvet.
- I have to agree. We know you can be shy during conversations, but today was completely different. If something is bothering you, you can tell us. - said the tall boy, interrupting his meditation and joining the conversation.
- All right, Yatsuhashi. It's just... - Velvet didn't want to tell them what happened to her today and tried to think of something else to make them believe it, but the blind boy thwarted her plan.
- She's just embarrassed that a certain blonde guy call her cute. - The boy spoke without turning from his book.
- Fox! Don't read my mind! -
- You mean that blond guy from the JNPR team? - the girl asked, remembering the leader of that team.
- No. He is a new member of the RWBY team and his name is Lloyd. He helped me when the Team CRDL was accosting me again. He stopped them and somehow make them understand being true Hunters. And when I introduced myself to him, he said I had a pretty name and that I looked cute. - Velvet stuttered out the last part with flushed cheeks hiding her face in her hands. She looked at her friend, who looked as if she was thinking hard about something.
- Coco, what are you thinking right now? Velvet asked.
- Okay, it's settled! Tomorrow we'll go meet this Lloyd and I'll personally see if he's worthy of you. announced the girl known as Coco.
- It can't be good. - Yatsuhashi said, worried about what would happen tomorrow. Fox just nodded in agreement.

Forgive me that it took me a while to write this chapter. I didn't have much time due to constant study and work, which is why the publication of this chapter came so late.
In the next chapter, Lloyd will have to travel to the kingdom of Atlas to convince General Ironwood that he can trust him.
