That's right, you're eyes are not deceiving you, this is another chapter of Mericcup Yandere AU. I am quite surprise that this One-shot was well received, and I couldn't help myself to write another chapter and post it on today of all days.

Chapter 2
Merida made a small yawn and tried to keep her eyes open during the lesson but was not really interested in the math question on the white board. After another few minutes of boredom, she check her phone for the time and raise her hand.
The teacher notices the student's hand raise and spoke "Yes, miss Dunbroch?"
"May Ah go tae th' bathroom, please?" She asks.
The teacher goes over his desk and pulls out a hall pass "Be sure not to run in the halls like last time".
Merida gives a playful smirk and grabs the pass "Ah can't make any promises".
She leaves the classroom but instead of going to the direction to where the bathrooms are, she turns and starts heading to another direction. The redhead arrives to a flight of stairs and walks up in a fast pace and soon reaches the second floor of the school's building.
Merida reaches her destination which was the library and signs her name in the entry then strolls through the place that was filled with columns of books. She wasn't in the library to read books or do homework, it's because her boyfriend was here, and knew this for a fact because she memorized his entire school schedule, and at this time it was his free period.
Merida found her boyfriend sitting on a table with a book, no surprise there, but what was surprising is that he wasn't alone.
There were 3 boys surrounding the table, one was a tall blond that looked to be the leader while the other two were like his lackeys. Merida could tell by the look on Hiccup's face that he wasn't enjoying their company. She couldn't hear a word they were saying but the blond became mad for something that Hiccup said that made the two other boys grab him by the shoulders and push him back.
Merida's blue eyes became wide not because of fear, but because someone dare to touch her boyfriend. She grabs her scissors and was ready to stab them, but then all three of them began to leave. The redhaired girl wanted nothing more than to cut their fingers off, but right now her boyfriend was much more important.
Hiccup made a sigh of relief and brought himself back to the table with a dejected look, then felt someone behind him "Something else you wanted to say Anthony?"
"Ah am sorry, but I'm nae Anthony".
Hiccup turns his head to see none other than his girlfriend "Don't be. You are much better than him" he said with a smile.
"That's nice tae know" She says, then walks over to the other side of the table to sit across from him "Sae who's this Anthony lad?"
Hiccup tried to cover his nervousness by taking notes "Just another classmate" he replied.
Merida obviously didn't buy it for one second "Was he th' one that just left th' library wi' two other wee jimmies behind him?"
The teen boy should have known that his girlfriend already saw them "Yep. That's him".
The Scottish girl could tell from his tone and expression that this particular classmate was someone he was tired of dealing with more than once "Sae, what did he want from ye?" She questioned.
"Nothing really".
It suddenly became quiet, which is normal when you're in a library, but not when it comes to Merida and her unpredictable emotions. Hiccup knew that she could see through his lies and would not give up until he tell her the truth. But then heard the sound of a chair being moved and his green eyes look in worry and sees his girlfriend walking away.
Hiccup quickly got up and manage to grab her by her right wrist, stopping her in her tracks "Where are you going?" He asked.
"Ah am gonnae fin' this Anthony an' ask heem why he's botherin' ye" answered Merida.
"I t-told you that it's nothing" he insisted.
"It's obviously something if it's making you so upset!" She said a bit too loudly, causing the librarian to 'SHSS' them from behind a bookshelf.
After they apologize and returned to their seat, the two were in an awkward silence until Merida broke it "Hiccup, Ah won't think less of ye, if ye don't want to tell me" she said.
The teen boy looks at her and could clearly see how concern she was towards him.
"But if yoo're in trouble or ye want to vent about somethin', it's okay to tell me. I'm yer girlfriend. Ye don't have tae pretend yoo're fine when it's me" said Merida her voice sounding sad but also caring.
Hiccup feels guilty for making her worry then made a long sigh "Okay. I'll tell you".
He began to tell her everything, apparently during their freshmen year Anthony pretended to be nice to Hiccup, only to use him to do his homework. Then created a scheme by charging money to other students to have their homework done by the auburn boy himself. The reason why Anthony was here, is because he wanted to start up their business again and threaten him to do what he said or else they will beat him up.
After he was done explaining everything, Hiccup stayed quiet and just gaze at Merida who didn't say anything and merely ponder over the information with a neutral expression, which only made the teen boy feel nervous.
'I wouldn't blame her if she broke up with me because I'm such a weak loser for letting those guys walk all over me' He thought.
After what felt like hours Merida rises up from her seat with an angry look and was about to leave but then Hiccup grabs her wrist again "Where are you going?" He asks calmly.
"Tae find Anthony" hissed Merida.
"W-Why?"
"Sae 'at Ah can cut his throat fur messin' with ye" She answered as if it were the most obvious thing to do.
Hiccup could tell from the deadly look in her eyes that if he lets her go, there will be a blood bath in the school's hallways "Merida as much as I appreciate your sense of justice, I don't want you to do anything to him" he says firmly.
"Ur ye sayin' Ah should just staun by an' let heem bully ye?" She asked with a slight growl.
Hiccup shook his head "No. No. No. I'm saying that, t-that this is my problem, not yours".
"It became mah problem when he threaten tae hurt whit is mine" stated Merida trying to leave but her boyfriend kept a surprisingly strong hold on her.
"Merida please, I'm the one who has to settle things with him. Which means, I have to do this alone" Hiccup stated clearly hoping that he got through to her.
Merida began to calm down "Ye sure?"
Hiccup nodded "I won't let him keep using me as his personal slave. So-So please just-just trust me and let me handle it myself. Please" he pleaded with his eyes.
Merida wanted nothing more than to hunt those guys down and make them pee in their pants, but couldn't refuse him, especially when he made that cute face "Fine. Ah will keep my hands tied".
"Thanks" Hiccup says feeling relieved that he could reason with her.
They returned to the table and sat next to each other, Merida had her arms cross feeling disappointed that she couldn't stab Anthony, and Hiccup couldn't help but think how cute she look with that pouty expression.
"You know, I didn't think you be this upset" told Hiccup while reading his book.
Merida gave a confuse look "What do ye mean?"
"Well, you only get like this whenever a girl talks to me" he points out.
"That's coz Anthony is a boy, and yoo're nae intae boys" said Merida but then looks at him with suspicion "Unless… There's something yoo're not tellin' me".
"Before you get any ideas of hunting down every boy at this school. NO, I do not swing that way" stated Hiccup clearly "But I respect everyone's preference to whoever they want to date".
Merida nodded "Good tae know".
Hiccup returned to his books and taking notes, but a sudden thought just came that he should have realize earlier "Merida do you have free period right now?"
"Nope" replied Merida bluntly "Ah have math class".
Hiccup was wide eye surprise "Then what are you doing here?!" He asked loudly but still quietly.
"Ah wanted tae see ye" she replied.
"That's not a good reason to skip class" He scolded her.
Merida shrug her shoulders "It is tae me".
Hiccup sighs and gave a serious look "Well you had plenty of time seeing me. Now get back to class before you get into more trouble".
Merida rolled her eyes but reluctantly got up "Alright. Alright, Ah am going. I'll see ye at lunch".
Hiccup watches her leave through the glass doors and returned his full attention to the book.

Hiccup was heading straight to the sports field to meet up with Anthony, he managed to talk Merida into not coming with him, because he knew that she would not hesitate to jump and attack the three bullies.
A moment later he stood before the bleachers where said bullies sat there as if they own the place.
"Glad to see that you're here Hiccup" spoke Anthony with a smug look.
"Well, it's not like I had much of a choice" said Hiccup sarcastically.
"And you chose right" Anthony got up and carefully walked down from the bleachers. He held out his right hand that was holding a stack of papers "This pile of homework needs to be done by this Friday, so get to it"
Hiccup ignored the papers, took a small deep breath and look at him straight in the eyes and said "No".
The atmosphere around them became quiet but also tense, Anthony's brown eyes narrowed "What did you say?"
"No" said Hiccup again "I-I won't do it".
"I don't think you realize what you're saying nerd" said Anthony.
"Actually, I do. But if you can't understand the word 'no' then let me say it in a different way. I don't want to be part of your stupid scheme anymore" Hiccup stated more clearly.
The other two boys stood up and were about to pummel the small fishbone, but Anthony raised his hand to stop them and gave a mock laugh "I got to say, you really impress me with this little bravado of yours. So, tell you what, I'll let you off the hook, not beat you up and you can still keep doing your job".
Hiccup pretended to think it over then shrug his shoulders "Tempting offer, but my answer is still no".
Anthony started to feel annoyed "I'm not playing around Hiccup" he warned.
"Well neither am I" Hiccup narrowed his eyes at him "I'm done doing your homework and everyone else".
Anthony gripped the papers in his hand then got closer to the auburn boy and shoved the papers at his chest "Listen looser nerd, if you know what's good for you, then your only choice is to do what I say like an obedient dog. Because if you refuse to do what your told, I can promise you that your school life will be a living hell".
It was strange, in this situation anyone would be shaking in fear, but not Hiccup, for some weird reason he wasn't afraid of Anthony or his threat. He clearly remembers being scared of him during freshmen year and would be too nervous to even get a word out to defend himself. But Hiccup doesn't feel intimidated by the blond boy at all, which makes him wonder why?
That's when Hiccup suddenly remembered his first date with Merida and the events that transpired that night, which cause him to let out a small laugh unintentionally.
"What's so funny you weirdo?" barked Anthony as his face was almost turning red.
"I'll tell you what's funny. If it was the me from last year, I would have been so scared that I would do anything you say" told Hiccup as his smile fades and his expression turns serious "But I'm no longer the same person as I was before. And I do have a choice, I won't let you push me around anymore. I rather be as you put it, a 'looser nerd' then a lying cheater like you".
"Then I guess you don't care that I'll tell on the teachers and principal how this whole scheme was your idea. Which will get you in a whole lot of trouble" Anthony smirks thinking that he got him cornered.
Hiccup didn't look worry or scared from the threat "Go ahead. In fact, I dare you".
This caused the 3 teenage boys to be left completely stunned by his response.
Hiccup then shoves the papers back to a stupefied Anthony and not concerned that some of them fell to the ground "If I get in trouble then I'll just tell them the truth, and if they don't believe me that's fine too. I'll face the consequences for my actions and not be a coward like you".
After saying that Hiccup couldn't help but enjoy the irritated look on Anthony's face, even though a part of him felt a little bit scared, another part felt like a huge weight was finally lifted from his shoulder for standing up to him "That's all I came to say. Bye"
He walks away from them and couldn't help but smile from feeling so confident after finally ending things with them.

It was night at a certain house…
Anthony began to regained consciousness but felt a throbbing pain on the back of his head. His eyes tried to see through the darkness and could tell that he was in his basement. Then was surprised to see that he was hanging in midair, his hands were tied up by rope and was hung by a hook as if he was a pound of dead meat. He tried to call for help but his mouth was shut with duct tape. He didn't know what was going on or why he was like this but knew that he had to get free. Unfortunately, his efforts to escape were futile as he couldn't lift himself from the hook because his feet were tied down by two blocks of cements.
Suddenly he heard footsteps coming from upstairs and quickly turns his eyesight to the stairs that lead to it. The door opened and a second later the lights were turn on, Anthony saw at the top of the stairs a teen girl wearing his school's uniform and felt relief that someone came to rescue him.
"It's about time ye woke up" She said in a neutral tone "If you hadn't, Ah was gonnae tossed cold water at ye".
Anthony was caught off guard by her words and after taking a second look, he instantly recognize the Scottish redhead that was in the fencing and archery team. He tried to speak but obviously the only thing he was making was muffles sounds.
"Obvioosly ye might be wonderin' why yer in this weird situation" Merida began walking down the stairs with a wooden bat on her right hand "Weel if ye haven't figure it out yet, I'm th' one who knock ye out cold and brooght ye down here".
Anthony was perplexed by what the redhead was saying and yelled something at her, but Merida simply ignore his racket while adjusting the black gloves on her hands "It's really not nice tae bully students, especially if that said student is mah boyfriend".
She raised the bat gently under his chin which made him stop his ongoing shout and became stiff "If yoo're wonderin' who I'm talkin' about, it's Hiccup. Ye ken, th' one ye use as a slave tae do yer homework an' everyone else like an unpaid secretary". The teen girl walks around him letting the bat drag on the floor that made Anthony nervous of what she was planning to do with it.
"Ah was thaur when Hiccup confronted ye. Ah saw th' whole thing from under th' bleachers. How he confronted ye, an' how he stood his ground…" Her expression changes from neutral to a lovable gaze from remembering how brave her boyfriend was "He was incredible".
Anthony was utterly baffled and weirded out by the redhead, the look she had was that of a woman who was having a euphoria.
"Ah was worried at first, if you waur plannin' to hurt him, Ah was gonnae jump in tae help heem. But he didn't need it, he did it all on his own. He was truly amazin' " She pulled out the recorder from her pocket and her face change into menacing "But then… Ye couldn't leave it alone could ye".

"Should we go after him?"
"No… Let him think that he won. Cause once schools ends today, we'll take him to the boy's locker room and make him understand who he's messing with".
"So, we grabbed him at his last class?"
"He has art club after that. So just keep your eye on him until I give you further instruction".
"Got it".

"That was from th' bleachers. An' this next part is from when ye got home" Merida said then fast forward the recording and played it again.

"Hey, do you have your eyes on the nerd Hiccup?"
"…"
"Good, keep watching him the moment he leaves, bring him to the lockers. I'll meet with you guys later and well teach him a lesson he'll never forget".

She press the pause button and glares at him, which made Anthony sweat with fear from seeing the deadly look on her fierce blue eyes.
"Ah used this bat to knock ye out and took the liberty to text yer lackeys that ye wooldn't make it for certain reasons. An' yer parents left a message on the answerin' machine, they said that they're going to be workin' at th' office late again" She informed.
Anthony couldn't believe that this was seriously happening to him, his parents weren't coming, and his friends have no idea the situation he was in. He was stuck here with this crazy Scottish girl.
"Which means… Ah have ye all tae myself. An' no one will hear yer scream" Merida took a step back and without so much as a warning grabs the bat with both hands and gave a good swing to his abdomen, making him grunt with pain.
Merida continued to strike the bat at the blond boy over and over again on his whole body, as if hitting a piñata waiting for the candy to come out but she left his face and manhood unharmed. Anthony couldn't do anything but cry out the pain through the tape, as hot tears rolled down his face from every hit he took.
This went on for 10 minutes until Merida gave one more swing to his back and use her arm to brush off the sweat from forehead as if she just finished a workout. Anthony was breathing the best he could through his nose and felt his whole body aching from the many hits he received from the redhead.
"Know this very weel Anthony, I'm not daen' this coz of me, it's coz of ye".
Anthony lifts his head up in confusing and only saw the massive curls of her hair since she had her back facing him.
"When Hiccup said that he was gonnae handle his business with ye alone, Ah was worried for a moment, but th' look in his eyes showed me that he wanted tae prove tae me but also tae himself that he can fight his own battles with his own strength" Merida's face turn lovestruck once again as her lips spreads into a big smile and her cheeks turn red.
"He was so incredible standin' tall an' proud that Ah cooldn't be happier tae know that he was mah boyfriend. Honestly, Ah only came haur tae just give ye a wee warnin' that if ye mess with mah Hiccup again, Ah will pull all yer teeth out..."
She slowly turns her around and her eyes looked hollow and gaze down at the blond as if he was a worthless piece of trash. And in one swift moment Merida raised the bat and strikes it directly on his face. And the teen girl was pleased to hear the sound of a broken nose.
Anthony cried out from the massive pain of his broken nose and could feel throbbing and aches on his face and also something else. He could barely breath and then something was flowing out from his nasal and saw crimson liquid dripping on the floor 'Am I? Am I bleeding?' He thought.
Suddenly his hair was grabbed harshly and was pull up to look at the redhead's fierce eyes.
"But ye cooldn't leave it alone, could ye? Ye waur going to harm mah Hiccup, all coz yer stupid pride cooldn't face the fact that someone who ye consider a worthless nobody, would dare stand up tae yer bullshit!"
Merida felt satisfied by seeing the clear look of fear in his eyes and was also enjoying the pool of blood that was drenching his face.
Anthony tried to speak through the tape from what sounded like an apology but naturally the teen girl didn't give second thought to his plead.
"Ah think we are way past forgiveness" Her lips turn into a sly smirk "Let's see how long ye can stay awake".

The next day…
Merida arrives at the library and starts searching around the place for her boyfriend. After her late-night excursion, she overslept and manage to get up thanks to her mother but still came late to school.
Her eyes spotted the auburn boy trying to grab a book from a high shelf, Merida quietly walk towards him then reach her hand out to the book he wanted and presented it to him "Morning Hiccup" she greeted.
Hiccup didn't look happy in fact he was mad that she would greet him like that "I know what you did" he said firmly.
Merida tilted her head in confusion "What do ye mean?"
The auburn boy rolls his eyes and simply pulled out his cellphone and a second later showed the latest news report.
"Teenage boy found behind a local store near the dumpster with heavy bruises covering his body, face, and missing a few teeth"
"I know it was Anthony, because I saw the police cars by his house" said Hiccup narrowing his eyes at her "Don't bother deny it, I'm your boyfriend after all".
Merida was quiet for a moment then sighs "Aye, it was me" she admitted with no shame.
Hiccup knew that she did it but hearing her say it was even more shocking "Oh my god! Why would you do that?"
She place her hands on her hips "Because he had it comin'. Ah did it for ye. Ah wanted heem to stop messin' with ye".
"I never ask you to do that. I told you yesterday that I was done with him" said Hiccup feeling a bit betrayed that she would do this behind his back.
"Ah know, an' ye looked so brave an' amazing when ye stood up tae him, but he was plannin' tae hurt ye, so Ah had tae get tae heem before it happen" Merida expressed with concern.
"Wait? What did you say?" Hiccup asked with a confuse look.
"He was plannin' on hurt ye" repeated Merida.
"N-No, before that. What did you mean I looked brave and amazing as if you were there?" Hiccup asked more specifically. When he saw her become quiet and her eyes looking at anywhere but his, that was enough to know the answer "You were there weren't you?"
Knowing that she was caught Merida rub her arm in guilt "Ah was under th' bleachers an' saw th' whole thing".
"I don't know whether to be surprised or not that you would spy on me" said Hiccup with a facepalmed.
"Weel, Ah don't regret it. He was plannin' to have his two lackeys kidnapped ye an' beat ye up in th' boys locker room" She stated.
He was afraid to ask but wanted to know anyway "How exactly do you know that?"
Merida brought out her recorder and rewinds it to the exact moment that Anthony planned his revenge on him. After hearing the whole audio that gave enough proof to Hiccup, he now understands why his girlfriend decided to get involved but that doesn't justify her actions in beating the living day lights out of the teen boy.
The auburn boy gave a sigh then leans on the bookshelf and sat down on the floor, the redhead girl joins and sat next to him.
"I guess confronting him wasn't enough" voiced Hiccup feeling dejected "What I did yesterday was completely useless".
"Why do ye believe that?" Merida questioned with a serious look "Because Anthony didn't take ye seriously when ye said NO? If ye have said YES to him, none of this would happen?"
"No, maybe… I don't know" said Hiccup dejectedly.
"Hiccup ye did th' right thing by confrontin' Anthony, an' lettin' heem know that ye weren't gonnae be part of his glaikit scheme anymore" Merida places her left hand on his shoulder "Try tae remember the look he had when ye told heem off. He was surprised that someone like ye, who he considers a looser dare tae challenge his so-called "authority". But ye handle it weel and walk away like a rational bodie, but that daft isn't as smart or mature as you an' decided that getting' back at ye will make things better. Believe me when Ah say that yer efforts yesterday waur not useless".
Hiccup turn his head to her "Really?"
"Really. Remember th' feelin' ye had when ye finally stood your ground against heem, that feelin' will help ye for th' next time anither person like heem who tries to mess with you" Merida says with a confident smile.
Hiccup couldn't help but give a small smile for her words and knew that she was right. He took the first step in facing his problems head on, and now he won't be a coward if someone else tries to bully him again. The auburn boy will definitely be able to speak up for himself with more confidence than before. "Thanks Merida. I really needed that".
"Yoo're welcome" Merida then brush her hair back and look apologetic "And just tae be clear, I wasn't doubtin' ye when ye told me ye can handle it. Aye, Ah did follow ye, but Ah wasn't gonnae interfere".
"Somehow I highly doubt that" said Hiccup in a playful tone.
"Alright. Alright. Ah was gonnae interfere but only if those three weasels waur plannin' on beatin' you up" stated Merida crossing her arms "An' if they had, Ah would have beaten their asses until they cried".
"Which is easy for you because you have experience dealing with troublemakers on the count of your brothers" said Hiccup with a small laugh.
"Naturally" said Merida with a smirk.
"I still didn't think it was right for you to attack Anthony" He told with much seriousness "What are you planning to do once he sues you for assault on the third degree?"
"Oh Ah don't think he's gonnae report me anytime soon" Merida said with the upmost confidence.
Hiccup raised his left eyebrow "And why is that?"
"Coz he has amnesia" She replied.
Hiccup was stun for a moment until he found his voice "What?"
"Ah called a friend of mah mums who works at th' hospital that Anthony is stayin' at, an' she told me that he woke up with no memory of what happened tae heem" Merida smiles with glee "Which means Ah won't be on his suspect list".
Hiccup made a guilty expression "Is it weird that I feel relieved that you won't get in trouble?"
"Nope. Ah guess lady luck was on mah side".
"Yeah, I don't think you'll be lucky the next time you pull something like this".
Merida shrugged her shoulders "Maybe Ah will, maybe Ah won't. Guess I'll cross that bridge when Ah get there".
"No, we will cross it" claimed Hiccup as he grabs her hand and held it tight "Whatever problems come your way, they will be my problems as well. I will always be by your side, no matter what".
Merida was a bit speechless for his bold words and quickly turn her head away from him "Ah don't know how to answer ye when yoo're that straight forward with me".
Hiccup couldn't help but make a small smirk "And yet that's one thing you like about me".
"Wrong" Merida turn to make eye contact with him, but her face was blushing red with embarrassment "Ah like everythin' about ye".
Now it was Hiccup's turned to turn bright red and began to stammer "I uh- Everything? As in me everything me? You like, I mean, all of me? T-T-That's uh-"
"Ahem!"
Hiccup and Merida look up and saw the librarian who had her arms cross and gave them a very stern expression.
"The library is a place to read books, not for teenage romance" She said calmly but firmly "So unless you're going to do a book report, I would kindly ask you to leave".
Both teens apologize to the librarian and Merida decides to head back to class "I'll see ye at lunch". She says and walks away.
Hiccup then goes back to his usual seat and then got a strange look from the librarian as her lips gives a small smirk.
"You certainly have a way with charming your girlfriend young man" She says then returns to her desk.
Throughout free period Hiccup had a hard time concentrating because he was so embarrassed that the librarian witness their sweet awkward moment.
I had trouble writing this cause I didn't know how to describe pain and torture, even after reading some reviews and others for references, I still had trouble writing it. So I hope I did well in describing Anthony's pain.
So I hope you guys enjoyed this cause there will be more to come, each chapter will be like a one-shot, as in the plot will be resolve all in one chapter, but eventually we will arrive to certain events that will have a part 1, 2, and 3.
