A fifteen-year-old Barbara Gordon is sitting on her bed looking at her Batgirl costume and rubbing her hand over the suit while it lies in a silver briefcase and a note written in braille.
She picked up the note, closed the briefcase, and started running her hand over the letter which read.
"Hello Barbara, I hope everything is going well for you. The others have been asking about you and hope you are doing well. I've arranged for a friend of Luci's to upgrade your batsuit that will work with your new abilities. In addition, I have set up a Batcave that sets up outside League records. So if you decide to return to being Batgirl again, you are ready to operate in New York with love from Alfred and the Bat-family.
"Thank you for supporting me, Alfred, but I don't think I can ever be Batgirl again, not how I originally was. I now have to convince people I am not a blind person. As soon as people learn I am a superpower from Gemma, they will turn against me, and Bruce will have a strategy to take me down," said Barbara to herself.
"Hell, it's one of the reasons my & Dad and I had to move to New York Gotham City Academy because they have a zero-tolerance policy for mutants enrolled in the school for health and safety reasons." Barbara.
"I know Bruce would have paid for some of the finest tutors to homeschool at the cave or with the team, but with what happened with the Failsafe mission, I can't be around them." So she thought to herself while looking at her nightstand, which had a pair of noise-cancelling headphones, a bedside lamp, an IPhone7 and a pair of ruby-tinted glasses.
"I still don't know why I have a cellphone when I can't see the fucking screen well looks like." she thought to herself as a female German Shepherd entered the room carrying a silver cane with a Bat symbol on the handle in her mouth.
"Thanks, Ace. I take dad. Got breakfast ready," she asked as she stood off the bed and walked towards the bathroom, changing out of nightwear as Ace picked up the clothes and put them in the washing hamper.
She returned a few seconds later wearing a large towel wrapped around her lower body which revealed several scars covering her back,
And sat down on her bed and started to get dressed. After a few minutes, she is dressed. "How do I look, Ace," she asked as she looked at her guide dog and picked up her glasses and put them on, then she picked up her iPhone 7 and put it into her tracksuit trousers pocket and put the watch on her right wrist.
"You know you're a lot of help, pal," joked Barbara as she picked up her cane, took hold of Ace's lease, and walked out of her room towards the kitchen.

When Barbara Gordon arrives, she finds her father putting on a plate with two slices of bacon, beans, two sausages, two hash browns, and a glass of apple juice.
"Morning, dad," said Barbara
"Morning pumpkin are you ready for the first day at New School," asked James Gordon
"Yeah, I guess so. I just a shame we had to move to New York City because Of Gemma Mason's action." Said Barbara as eat some of her breakfast
"I know you would have liked to have stayed in Gotham pumpkin, but we need a first start following what happened with Mason trying to frame me as someone on the Rupert Throne payroll." Replied James.
"Yeah, where I accidentally killed Gill Mason, thereby ruining Gemma's life where she now blames me for destroying her life," she said, eating some more of her while father drank some of his coffee.
"You can't blame yourself for what happened with Gill; his actions led you to kill him in self-defence," said
"I know I shouldn't blame myself, but if I had not killed Gill. Then Gemma would not have planted that chemical bomb in my locker that sprayed radioactive waste into my face, which destroyed my eyesight and triggered me to develop my echolocations abilities which now forces me to wear noise-cancelling earphones to help me sleep well at night." Said, Barbara.
"You know, you can't be sure that if Gil hadn't died that Gemma would off turned into a terrorist who calls herself the Grey Ghost and even robbed a comic book shop displaying the original Grey Ghost television." Said James.
"Damn, you mean you tell me I missed a chance to get the original suit from both the Grey Ghost live-action show? Gwen and I used to rush home from school to watch it together, and now I can never see it." Said, Barbara.
"I would not normally worry about the props from the show, but knowing that they are people like Quintin Beck/Mysterio and Phineas Mason the Tinkerer that can turn them into a deadly weapon," said James.
"Yeah, I know that Batman couldn't get leads on the Tinkerer he believes is a former KSI employee who may have been involved," said Barbara.
"Was Batman able to discover where he operates from?" Asked James.
"No, he is constantly changing his location every month and is getting hard to track down, but Batman and J.L.A. think he may be operating his business out of a modified Food Truck somewhere across Gotham." Said, Barbara.
"And there is no real way to track him down, considering every location a food truck can park and operate from." Said James.
"So how did the comic shop get a hold of the Grey Ghost costume and a classic cult suit like that?" Asked Barbara
"The star of the show, Simon Trent, was selling his collection of Grey Ghost merchandise following several bad business investments and being tricked by scammers with several romance frauds following the death of his wife. He is believed to be near bankruptcy; the staff at Blue Falcon comics offered to sell the stuff for him with them taking ten per cent." Said James.
"Damn, it was heartbreaking when Simon Trent announced the death of finance, wasn't she? Miranda Wilson Trent, A famous stuntwoman, I think I recalled, Simon Trent, was trying to be named in Hollywood following Fox cancelling Grey Ghost Series after one season. They were current film Spyhunter I which was going to be the Asylum answer to James Bond and Bourne franchises," asked Barbara

"Considering the damage inflicted on the helicopter, it is not surprising to tell you the truth. Even if Miranda Wilson survived, she is badly burnt in the process," said James.
"I guess you are right, dad. I would've loved to see that Grey Ghost Costume, but now it has been stolen, I can't," said Barbara.
"Do you want a lift to school, pumpkin," asked James.
"Yes, please, dad. I'm still getting used to the sounds of New York until I focus on it, so I know my way from home to school and back again." Said Barbara

If not for Stark and the Avengers, they would have conquered us; I bet Vandal Savage and Light did believe someone would invade the earth and nearly bring it," thought Barbara as she finished her breakfast and her drink.
She stands from the table and walks towards the front with Ace walking alongside Barbara Gordon. Her father soon follows her as he collects his police Badge and jacket. As they leave the house, they see a woman placing an Anti-Justice League poster on a lamppost.
"Damn, more of those Anti-Justice propaganda posters," said James.
"Jameson did a right number to turn the people against the Justice League for their failure to stop the Chitauri Invasion; from what Clark said that James Olsen was one of the Daily Planet employers killed in the attack," said Barbara.
Ace, Barbara and James Gordon walk towards a car, with James in the driver seat and Ace and Barbara in the vehicle's back seat. After Barbara put on her seat belt, James started the engine and drove away.

Ace sat next to Barbara Gordon as she sat opposite Principle Jeffery Pierce as he was busy looking over and reading the Gotham City Academy.

"That would be fine, Principle Coulson. I would like a tutor to help me keep up with the work; I am sure speedsters are all busy dealing with things more important than delivering textbooks to former teammates," said Barbara
"I will have Miss Gwen Stacy be your Tutor as she has a similar Grade Point Average as you before you lost your eyesight; you can find her in your first class History class," said Principle Priece handing a piece of paper-covered braille

"So hence why do you need me as a Tutor while you wait for the school to acquire you some braille textbooks," asked Gwen
"Yeah, pretty much it; Principle Pierce is trying to get them in a hurry, but you know what the school board act means? If they don't have that many children that need them, then chances are the school is not going to get them, but Pierce is going to try and get me them as soon as possible," said Barbara
"I wouldn't hold my breath for the school to provide you with them, see as the school doesn't normally have calls for Braille textbooks, see as the school board closed several underperforming schools. Chance they are going to turn down his request," said Mary Jane as Peter Parker sat down at the table with them.

"I have to say you have an interesting Guide dog there, Barbara, so what's his name," said Peter
"Her name is Ace. She was a former K-9 dog before becoming my Guide dog after her handler was killed in the line of duty and was troubled and would not be bound with any other K9 officer when the Head of the Gotham K9 department where going to put her down," said Barbara.
