AN: Just as with my other story, I have made a non-canon Valentine's Day Omake for Sigmund which ends on a surprising sweet surprising note for our Quincy, taking place a few weeks into the canon timeline. Enjoy!

I stood in front of the pretty girl with my arms crossed, looking down at the small bag of chocolate she had held in her hands.

"…"

"…"

"Okay…so let me get this straight, Syr. You wanted to learn how to make Valentine's chocolate for a boy that you like. And you came to me…me…to taste test and help so you can make some good ones for said boy later today. Instead of going to, for example, Mia or Anya."

"Yep!"

"And why is that exactly?"

"Because last I checked, you make really good desserts to the point that Mama Mia wanted to know the recipes as well so she could make some for herself or for the Hostess!" Syr answered in a chipper voice.

Ah. Of course…I was afraid of that.

"Syr, one look at this and I can tell that I would probably die if I ate it. In fact, the gods know that my Abnormal Resistance might not even help me survive this monstrosity! How did this thing even become purple?!"

I pointed to the chocolate in question and yes it was in fact purple and I'm pretty certain it's exuding some sort of malevolent aura as well…

"Syr, if the boy you're looking to give this to ate it, depending on his Level, he might very well collapse and need to be sent to the Dian Cecht or Miach Familia to be taken care of. Actually, he might actually get or strengthen the Abnormal Resistance ability as well through this!"

Oh my. I think I may have heard something breaking just now. Maybe her heart?

I could visibly see her wilting a bit, paired with the presence of people moving slightly closer to me.

Oh great. Her little pets are here too.

I knew who this chocolate was for since I had just seen him running through the streets of Orario some few weeks ago covered head to toe in blood. A certain rabbit protagonist who has now gotten himself caught up in a whole lot of stuff in the future.

Have fun with him Freya, but know that I will hold this over your head for years to come.

But still, she really must want to make the kid chocolates to give him later today…

And with a decision made in my mind against my better judgment, a small sigh escaped my lips as I opened up the door to my apartment.

"You know what? Fine. I'm almost afraid to let you work on your own anyway. You are going to make your chocolates in this kitchen, and I will be the one to guide you through it so it doesn't end up killing someone. And so help me Syr, if your cooking comes to life, I'm kicking you out after I force feed you the monstrosity."

"Thank you, Sigmund, you're the best!" Syr let out with a grin as she made herself at home and went straight for the kitchen, where I will probably have to face one of my biggest challenges yet: getting this hopeless Goddess to successfully make chocolate.

And oh boy, did that take several hours for her to get them right…

"No! No! No! This one goes there, that one goes there!" Cue a smack to the head with a small harisen.

"I'm sorry!" The disguise goddess cried out in probably genuinely fear at how strict I was at this current moment. Not that I had a choice, otherwise she might just burn down my house or her creations will burn a hole in it somewhere with her awful cooking skills.

"Carefully…carefully…careful- I said carefully! You might ruin the chocolate!"

"Eek! I'm sorry!"

"Syr…I…*sigh*...just start again."

"Okay…"

With no small amount of hesitation, I carefully bit into this last chocolate and then slowly chewed it while Syr seemed to be on the edge of her seat with this latest result. After some meticulous tasting…I gave her the nod of approval.

"Good job Syr. This is a chocolate that has my stamp of approval."

"Thank you so-"

**WHACK!**

"EEK!" Syr cried out in fear when my spatula made contact with the table next to me.

"But your presence had better not stain my doors during Valentine's Day next year for help on making chocolate after I put in so much hard work, or so help me Syr, no God, Goddess, or Mama Mia will stop me from exacting divine retribution on you…"

I don't care if you are Freya, I am not suffering this again! If Bell drags you into his harem and is around next year, you go to someone else!

And I don't want to deal with your pests as well, or I might just blow up Folkvangr, even if it means I have to unleash the most destructive Quincy spells in my arsenal!

"I understand!" The Goddess in disguise said to me, probably not wanting to deal with me as a taskmaster again despite the fact I did help her to make good, and thankfully edible, chocolate.

"Well, off you go. Good luck giving chocolate to your crush today."

And with that, I escorted her to the exit and watched as she left, feeling the multiple presences around me following her as she left with a skip in her steps.

Well it looks like that's tha-

"Sieg?"

I turned my head to see Airmid and Anya walking with each other as they were passing where my apartment was located.

"Was that Syr, nya? What was she doing at your place?" Anya asked me with a curious look as I sighed.

"Let's just say a miracle was created regarding her cooking for today and put a cap on it."

""Ah…"" The two girls said in sync, understanding what I meant.

Ah indeed.

"Well anyway, I have something for you two. Stay right there." I turned back inside my apartment and went in to grab something before I came back out with two bags of chocolates for them.

"Here you go. I got bored last night and wanted to make some chocolates. Considering that I don't really have a Valentine, here are some obligatory chocolates that you can eat or give to your own Valentine."

"Oh thank you Sieg!" Airmid exclaimed, her eyes lighting up as she grabbed her bag.

"N-Nya…thank you…" Anya murmured and then held her hand out for me to drop the bag into her palm, a small blush on her cheeks.

"You're welcome, both of you." I said and reached out to pat them on the head.

"Anyway, you two get going and go wherever you're headed okay?" I asked both of them and was about to walk back in when Anya called out my name.

"Sieg, wait nya!"

"Hm?" I turned back to Anya and then blinked at her. "Yes Anya?"

She reached in her pocket to pull out a bag of chocolate to hand me.

"Here you go nya. Some chocolate for Valentine's Day."

"Oh! Well then, I'll be sure to enjoy them later today. Thank you." I said to her with a smile and took the bag from her hand.

"You're welcome." Anya said with a small smile before finding herself being pulled by Airmid.

"Well, we need to get going, so I'll see you later Sieg!" Airmid called out as she pulled the cat girl away.

"Bye girls." I said with a wave before pocketing Anya's chocolate.

Now then, time to get ready for the day.

(Later in the day…)

"Oh? Sigmund?"

I turned my head to see Shakti wearing more casual clothes today much to my surprise.

"Well well, what a surprise seeing you here, Shakti. Is the Ganesha Familia not concerned with security today?"

The Captain of the Ganesha Familia shook her head.

"That's not it. Lord Ganesha told me to take the day off and relax since not much activity goes on in the day, but I will be back to work as soon as it gets dark. So I'm just walking around Orario and enjoying this sudden day off I suppose." She explained to me with a smile.

"Well, I hope you enjoy your day then. Oh, and speaking of…"

I reached into the pack I was carrying with me to pull out two small bags of chocolates.

"Here's some obligatory chocolates for you as thanks for your support over the years. They're both for you technically, but I figured I'd give the other on behalf of your sister if you plan on visiting her grave today."

"Why thank you…how sweet of you." Shakti said with a warm smile as she accepted the chocolate. "I will certainly enjoy them and if she were with us, I'm sure Ardee would appreciate it. Although I do feel bad. Had I known you'd be doing this, I would have gotten you something in return."

"Ah no need, you're fine Shakti. Just focus on enjoying this day alright?" I asked her with a smile and she nodded in reply.

"I will. Thank you Sigmund. I wish you a Happy Valentine's Day."

"Hey guys." I said and knelt in front of the three graves in front of me and bit down on three squares of chocolate, one for each grave..

"I'm not even sure if Gods can even receive offerings from down here and I know this isn't really normal, but I didn't want bugs or anything to gather here and figured I could offer them in my own way since I had all this chocolate on hand. As for you two, well I'm actually at a loss as to how to explain myself. Here's to hoping that you guys are somehow aware of this and can enjoy them from the afterlife or something."

I performed the cross and then clasped my hands in a silent prayer for a brief moment before I finished and turned around.

"Well, take care. I'll see you all again."

"Hey." I sat in front of the two gravestones I had made and ate a piece of chocolate in front of them as well before I rested my hands upon them.

"I just wanted to do this for you guys as thanks for everything as always. It's because of you guys that I made it as far as I did, even if you may not know it. So…thank you, Walter and Robert."

I performed the cross and then began to pray in front of these gravestones as well before I found myself finishing and turned to leave with a burst of Hirenkyaku, leaving behind the two white gravestones in the clearing, each with a certain symbol engraved onto the surface: the Quincy Zeichen.

And after more visits and encounters followed by obligatory chocolates to and from me, I found myself back him against just sitting at the dinner table eating dinner and chocolates alone. As I was eating, a certain thought came to mind.

"I wonder what Black's doing?"

[3rd POV]

In the 18th Floor of Rivira, huddled up in a makeshift hideout that had been created some time ago, Black was sampling some Valentine's Day chocolate that had been stolen from several Adventurers when they weren't looking, the Asauchi fully aware that doing this had caused some chaos, brawls and infighting amongst the mortals.

"Hm…I'm surprised how good this is. Mortals certainly know how to make their desserts."

[1st POV]

I'm sure he's just around.

I looked at the small assortment of chocolates that had been given to me and a small hum escaped my lips.

I wonder…what is it like to fall in love with someone? Will I ever get the chance and also receive chocolate from someone as a romantic gesture?

Oh well…best to not think about-

KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!

Huh?

I walked open to the front door to greet whoever it was outside only to see a bag of chocolate on my steps, my hand reaching down to pick it up, a small piece of paper attached to it that I opened up to read its contents.

"I hope that you enjoy these chocolates.

With love, a Secret Admirer."

I murmured to myself and turned my gaze towards the chocolate. I haven't seen these before nor do I recognize the handwriting. Is it someone I know? No, I've already seen everybody today, so I can't think of who it can be.

Maybe someone's altered their handwriting and made this so that they wouldn't feel embarrassed?

I had half a mind to sense anyone around me and see if I would recognize their presence…

But why ruin the surprise? Especially if it is someone I know?

I closed and locked the door behind me and opened up the bag with a bit more reverence than I had with the others and then picked out one of the chocolate squares from inside and bit into it.

I couldn't help the small smile that bloomed on my face.

It tastes sweeter than the other chocolates…
