Happy Valentine's Day!

"Jason did you bring me to a farm?" Mandy asks as Jason drives her to her Valentine's Day surprise.

"Kind of." Jason chuckled.

Mandy rolls her head to the left to look at Jason. "Because farms are so up my alley."

"Ye of little faith." Jason strokes his thumb over her hand.

"Okay." Mandy grins. "I know I can trust you."

"That's all I ask for." Jason returns. "This looks like it." He comments as he pulls his truck in front of a geodome.

"I have been saying how I wanted to stay in one of these." Mandy smiles.

"See, you were all worried for nothing, Miss Ellis."

"We are going to be so relaxed." She leans forward to kiss him.

"Among other things." Jason winks.

"This property is so pretty." Mandy looks around while getting out of Jason's truck. "Nothing by trees, grass and the sky."

Jason stands next to her. "Wait until you see the inside."

"Oh, let's go." Mandy pulls him towards the front door of the dome. She pushes the door open. "Oh Jace." She walks around the space. "I love every inch of this."

"I was hoping that'd be your reaction." He wraps his arms around her from behind.

"I can't for it to get dark." She looks up through the clear plastic that makes up the roof of the geodome. "The stars are going to be so bright out here."

Jason softly kisses her neck. "You'll still shine brighter."

Mandy turns in his arms. "Thank you for this."

"You are very welcome." Jason smiles.

"I can't help but notice there is no kitchen." Mandy notes.

"You are correct, but fear not, I have it all covered." Jason grins.

"I really should have known that a fine tier one team leader like yourself would have all his bases covered." Mandy leans forward and kisses him.

Jason's signature grin spread across his face. "I'm almost disappointed in you, Amanda Ellis."

"Oh no, we can't have that." Mandy smirks.

"But I'll give you dome points back for recognizing how fine of a tier one team leader I am." Jason informs her.

Mandy reaches behind Jasona and grabs his ass. "You are one fine team leader."

"Did you just grope me, Miss Ellis?" Jason jokes.

"Shut up, you liked it." Mandy tells him.

"I did." Jason nods. "I quite enjoy any time your hands are on my body."

"Like I hadn't already figured that out." Mandy grins. "I love you Jace."

Jason wraps his arms tightly around her waist. "I love you too."

"Should we get settled in?" Mandy asks.

"I think we should." Jason drops his arms from her waist.

After they finished unloading Jason truck Mandy plopped on the sofa. "What are you feeding me for dinner?"

"So noisy." Jason jokes. He sits next to her on the sofa and drapes his arm over her shoulders. "Surf and turf."

"Oh, look at Jason Hayes being fancy."

"There is something about that smile of yours that makes me want do anything possible to see it as much as I can." He kisses the top of her head.

"I've never wanted to smile as much as I do when I'm with you." Mandy locks eyes with him. "So, I'd say you are doing something right."

"Thank you." Jason says before claiming her lips in a deep kiss filled with emotion.

Mandy turns and leans her back against his chest, watching the sun begin to set through the trees. "I never thought I'd have this Jace."

Jason wraps his arms around her. "I never thought I disserved this."

She rests her head on his shoulder. "Part of my thought that for a long time too, but you've helped me see that we do in fact disserve to be happy, maybe even a little more than other people do."

Jason smiles listening to her talk. "I like that take."

"What do you want Jason?"

"What, uh, what do you mean?" Jason studders, caught off guard by her question.

"With us, what do you want the end result to be?" She clarifies.

"Honestly." Jason pauses. "The idea of thinking about life outside of my three-foot world is still kinda a foreign concept to me." He lets out his breath. "But I want to be with you Mandy. I feel something with you that I'm not sure I have ever felt before. The life you have managed to breath back into me."

"Do you see a life after operating?" She asks.

"For the first time, yeah Mandy, I'm starting to, with you."

"Good." She smiles up at him. "I want that too."

Jason kisses her temple. "Just a couple of scared people trying to make some right in this world."

"Promise that will never change." She says quietly.

"I promise Mandy, look how much we have made it through to be together. We can make this last."

"It's nice to hear." She tells him.

"It's nice to say." He smiles down at her.

"I remember when I was a kid and my mother was eyeball deep into whatever con she was running." Mandy pauses. "I would go lay outside under the stars and try to imagine why a different life would be like." She looks up at him. "Have I told you that before?"

"You did." Jason nods. "Our first time in Jbad together we were sitting at the fire pit and you leaned back and took in the night sky and I guess you felt my watching you." He smiles at the memory. "You told me the same thing. Looking back, maybe that was the first time I started to understand the bond we were building."

"It's crazy when I look back and think about how quickly and deeply, I trusted you."

Jason strokes her hair. "There has always been something about us."

Mandy shifting wakes Jason up. "Is everything okay?"

"Yeah." She says softly. "I was just admiring the sunrise."

"It's incredible." He pulls himself into a sitting position next to her. "You look beautiful in this lighting." Jason pulls her close.

"You know what this reminds me of?" She asks.

"That morning in Jbad." Jason answers. "I'm not sure I have ever felt more connected to you than I did that morning. I let myself feel for the first time in a long time that morning."

Mandy looks at him. "I think that morning was the first step to you starting to heal my soul."

"Funny, because I would say the same thing." Jason smiles. "I love you and these moments we get to have."

"I love you too." Mandy says before pulling him into a passionate kiss. Jason pushes her back onto the mattress. "You and this time of morning."

"I know you're not complaining." Jason says while kissing her neck and chest.

She wraps her arms around his neck. "I'm not."

"Good." He says before sucking her left nipple into his mouth and cupping her right breast in his hand.

She runs her fingers through the back of his hair. "Mmm Jace." Jason switches sides and earns another moan. He reaches between them and runs a finger up her slick folds. "Oh Jason."

Jason repositions himself and pushes into her. "Fuck Mandy." He groans upon sinking into her.

"Shit Jason." Mandy yells as Jason finds the angle and rhythm she loves. She leans her head up and kisses him.

He attaches his lips to her neck. "Fuck you feel good."

"Fuck Jace." Mandy moans as the pressure that had been building in her lower abdomen exploded.

"Damn baby." Jason groans feeling her contract around him. He meets their lips as his body gives in to the sensations. He lays next to her breathing heavily. "Incredible."

She turns to face him. "This moment is perfect."
