Previously on The Owl House: Return of the Lost Son, we take a look into the past and into the perspective of Rita, whom after finding Luz and Lincoln acting very strangely, decided to have a divorce with her so-called husband Lynn Loud Sr. and moving in with her newfound lover Camila Noceda, after pondering old memories/ Lucy and Lily, the only siblings who showed love and compassion to their adoptive brother sought to redeem Lana inside her mindscape via a special helmet, a successful endeavor. During a dinner gone wrong, Lynn Sr. lets slip the events of Lincoln's discovery and to the pure-hearted souls, his daughters side with him. After they leave, the fallen father is contacted by an unknown person using Lincoln's voice. A similar entity who appeared to the real one in the Owl House's bathroom. (Privacy much?)

Unknown

Lincoln suddenly gasps and sits up, panting.

Lincoln finds himself in a bleak void. He stands up and looks around with a startled expression.

Lincoln: Hello, is there anyone here (an echo was heard) Luz? Eda? King? Hooty? Someone?

Lincoln hears a crack, looks at the place where the crack came from, but sees only darkness.

Lincoln: (scared) Is there anyone out there?!

As if to answer his call, from the shadows steps out the silhouette of a giant chained dragon in front of a sealed door, shrouded in mist. It steps on the ground, making it shake and forming cracks with each step. Then it stares at Lincoln and growls. Lincoln screams in surprise, he tried to shoot a fireball at him but it doesn't work, the dragon takes a deep breath and exhales crackling white fire at him making him scream.

Lincoln's Room, The Owl House, Boiling Isles, Demon Realm

Morning

Lincoln woke up with a start as he sat up quickly. He looked around and saw that he was back in the Owl House, in his room.

Lincoln: (touches his forehead and sighs) Another nightmare. Whatever I've been eating or drinking before bed, I should probably stop.

After what happened at the covention, Lincoln has been plagued by these dreams with that dragon and the locked door. He thought it was because he felt guilty for killing Amity, although on the one hand he knew he deserved it. But on the other hand, something about the entity looked relatable.

Luz: (voiceover) Lincoln, come down. Eda wants to show us something.

Lincoln changes and goes downstairs hoping that will make him forget about the dream he had. Given his new physique. His old clothes have become too small, but with thanks to Eda and some pleasant memoies form Leni, his wardrobe has been given a more native update. He carries a mail-leather hybrid orange and blue attire with a bond on his left forearm, a pauldron on left shoulder, a hooded cloak.

Open in the living room of The Owl House, where Eda and Owlbert are playing a card game with Luz, Lincoln, and King looking on. Eda shuffles her hand and the eyes on the cards look at her. Owlbert, who is wearing a green sun visor, narrows his eyes and hoots.

The card backs show a purple and black cover with an opening green eye. On Owlbert's side are pictures of a lemur-like creature, a person with a forked tongue, a crowned skeleton with a chalice, a fish inside three harpoons, and a slumbering face showing a moon. On Eda's side is a black sigil, a storm cloud, an hourglass formed by two triangles, and a grub.

Eda: Watch closely, guys. Hexes Hold'em is the most tricky game on the Boiling Isles. Any proper witch knows how to play.

Luz: Oh boy, cards! The paper rectangles that old people think are fun!

Lincoln: I've only ever played straight and with Uno cards.

Eda puts a card with a demon on the table. Lightning shoots out of the cards, sending Owlbert flying for cover behind the side of the table. All cards stand and roar, showing teeth and stick limbs Owlbert steps forward and attacks Eda, which makes Owlbert smile.

Lincoln: (watching the battle) Wow, I think this is way more exciting than poker.

Eda: Now, when it seems like the deck is against you, that's when you draw the wild card.

She holds up a card with a tower on it. It glows green, and Owlbert's cards disappear in a flash of fire. Fiery letters spelling out "WINNER: EDA" appear, then disappear over the table. Owlbert hops back on and hoots at Eda, his wings extended.

Eda: Woo, I win! In your adorable owl face. Ah, I love the feeling of victory; does it feel... fluffy? (Feathers are growing from her arms)

Luz: Eda? It's happening again!

Eda: What's happening again?

Lincoln / King: Your curse is coming back!

Eda looks at her arm and yelps.

Play music: The Owl House Theme

The portal appears and opens.

Luz and Lincoln appear, and appear to be going through the sky upwards, but the camera shows that it was upside down and that actually, they were falling.

Eda rescues Luz and Lincoln, and along with King, they appear flying the Owl Staff, in the direction of The Owl House.

The camera follows them to the Owl House.

It approaches the door, where Hooty is, Luz opens it and is seen twirling the staff, until she leaves it standing, Luz puts her right hand on her hip, and holds the staff with her left while Lincoln draws his sword and strikes a similar pose

Eda takes the staff away from her and Luz gets nervous, Lincoln giving a funny one while King stands in front of the camera to wave with his arms outstretched.

Willow, Gus, and Amity appear in three frames.

Willow makes a heart with her hands, Gus holds out his arms in celebration, and Amity just ignores, and turns her back, crossing her arms.

King appears holding a stuffed rabbit, along with many other stuffed animals around.

He pretends to rule these stuffed animals, until some of them fall on him, while other stuffed animals keep falling in front of the camera.

Luz flies over Bonesborough while Lincoln rides alongside, where she meets Tiny Nose, Willow and Gus.

Later, Eda and King are seen running from the guards, They help them escape, but later Luz loses control of the staff, and are chased by a creature.

Luz, Lincoln, Eda and King are on the roof of the Owl House, where Luz casts her Light Spell, making it go into the night.

The Owl House

Return of the Lost Son

The Owl House logo appears, then the Light and Lightning spells streaks across it with background sounds. The theme ends there.

Chapter 7

Hooty's Moving Hassle

Eda's Room, The Owl House, Boiling Isles, Demon Realm

Eda: (opens the chest) Oh boy.

All the bottles in the chest are empty, though she has started a collection of cobwebs and corks.

Eda: (grabs one) This is terrible. I'm out of elixir.

Luz: Uh, the last time this happened, you turned into this thing (Holds up her phone, an image of the Owl Beast on the screen, featuring eight hairline fractures)

Lincoln: And you tried to kill us. (mentally) Even though you didn't attack me for some reason.

Eda: I know I should be repulsed, but that look is fierce.

Lincoln: Eda! This is not the time or place! But still, what stopped you from attacking me back then?

Eda: You're right, you're right. We need to go to the market and that is a very good question.

Luz: Market! (Gets up and starts to leave)

King: (follows her) I'm stealing everything that isn't nailed down!

Lincoln: (follows the two) And I'll give back everything you take!

Eda: Before we go, would anyone like to play one more hand of Hexes Hold'em? (Pats her pocket, noticing it to be empty) Hey, where are my cards?

Luz: (Handing the deck to Owlbert.) Take these and fly ahead. She'll have to follow us.

He does, grabbing the deck with his beak.

Eda: (Running after him.) Owlbert, you sore loser, gimme back my cards!

Market, Bonesborogh, Boiling Isles, Demon Realm

Midday

We view the Bonesborough skyline as a winged demon flies past. Down to the market, where Eda bangs on a metal grate, her attire covered by her cloak.

Eda: Hey, open up, Morton!

Morton (voiceover): Uh, ju—... just a minute!

King leaves Eda to sit next to Luz and Lincoln on a bench.

Luz: (lifts King onto the bench) Is there anything better than people watching in the Demon Realm?

Three witches, including the Eye-Eating Prisoner, are standing at a bus stop when a giant egg rolls towards her. The egg hatches, revealing a screeching featherless bird. It flies away. The witches enter the egg, one of them closes it and rolls out as Tiny Nose runs up.

Tiny Nose: Wait, wait! Aw, dang it.

Luz: The curse of the tiny legs.

King: I know the pain.

Loud footsteps approach as Tiny Nose screams and runs. A witch waves his hand, and a cart with a large insectoid demon on it follows him pulled by two other witches. The witch is male with green skin, red eye with yellow sclera, a toothed maw and an eyepatch, dressed in a dirty brown hooded cloak with leather bonds, a metal ring and pauldron on his right shoulder, black boots, two shrunken goblin heads around his neck and a claymore on his back with bones as a crossguard. Luz walks up to Eda

Luz: (approaches Eda) Wow, that's a sinister parade.

Eda: That's not a parade. Those are demon hunters.

The demon growls and bucks. The two demon hunters pushing the cart pull on the ropes to hold it together. It tries to bite the first demon hunter.

Eda: Dangerous nomads who capture and sell the most powerful beasts.

The first demon hunter casts a green circle of spells, creating lightning in his hand. He growls as he knocks the demon unconscious. He turns and looks at Luz and Lincoln and they both gasp, the latter covering his hood and turning away in time.

Eda: ...Which I'm about to become if you don't open up, Morton! (continues hitting the grate)

The grate opens revealing a lanky young man with pale skin, light brown eyes, and short brown hair. He also wears a gray funnel hat and has pointy ears. She wears a long-sleeved mint green top with fingerless gloves, and a long brown overlay dress with wrap-around sleeves and a dark brown belt with a frog collar.

Morton: I'm sorry, Eda! I've been up all night testing poison tasting and for some reason, I don't feel very great.

Eda: (hands him the empty bottle) I'm all outta my juice, pal.

Morton: Oh, gee. Lemme see what I can do.

Morton reaches down and digs through his inventory, rattling the bottles. The demon hunters continue, revealing Willow and Gus and their Stratus, looking dejected, behind the demon.

Luz: Willow and Gus! (Runs past Lincoln towards them) Hello, friends! Wait, what's up? Who hurt our babies?

Willow: Them.

She points to a food stall. We see Amity looking at a green potion while she is with three girls next to her.

One of the 3 girls is a young witch with a dark brown skin tone, eyes with gray irises, pointy ears, and hair that comes in shades of pinkish gray and deep mauve pulled back into a ponytail holding a bag of snacks, She wears her school uniform; the red leggings and sleeves signify her as a member of the bard track, along with dark gray heeled boots. A matching accessory holds back her hair; she also wears gold studded earrings.

The second has dark skin and wavy brown hair with side bangs, and like all witches, she has pointy ears. She wears square black-rimmed glasses over her brown eyes and has red lipstick on her lower lip. She wears the regular Hexside uniform with blue sleeves and leggings that indicate she is on the Healing track, and black clog-style shoes.

And the third has a slender figure with light pink skin, grayish-blue eyes, and mid-back length violet hair tied back in a bun, holding a drink. Like most witches on the Boiling Isles, she has pointy ears. She also has an extra third eye on her forehead, making her a triclops. wears a dark gray tunic with a dark gray cowl. She wears dark gray, heeled boots with a light gray top. As part of the potions track, her sleeves and leggings are yellow, indicating her place on the Potions track.

Lincoln: I should have imagined. What did they do now?

Willow: Amity is doing a moonlight conjuring and she invited everyone except me.

Gus: And she keeps posting about it on her Penstagram account.

Gus summons his scroll, open to Amity's Penstagram post of her and her friends posing.

Luz: "It's conjuring night! No dorks allowed"? What a allowed! (frowns)

Lincoln: Ok, four questions. Who are they? What is Penstagram? And why do I feel so hateful towards three-eyes?

Willow: (chuckles at his insult) Well, Boscha's the three-eyed one and is the star student in potions and the most hateful person one can find at Hexside, the one with glasses is Cat, she is studying in the healing track and the last one is Skara, she is the most talented student in the bard track, although she isn't bad per se, she is very innocent who allows herself to be manipulated by Boscha.

Lincoln: Reminds me of a similar trio I read about in California. Oh, okay. And the final question is what is a moonlight conjuring?

Willow: You spend the night at someone's house, telling stories, playing gamers...

Luz: Like a slumber party! We have those!

Willow: (Pulls out a book, turning to a page, one with a picture and the other with a crescent moon) Then you bring something to life with the moon magic!

Luz: … Like a weird pajama party!

Lincoln: With lunar empowerment. At this point, being weird is normal. Besides, I think it's weird not to be weird.

Willow: (nodding) Gus and I have never been in one. You need at least three to five people and—

Boscha: (Laughs as everyone approaches) I'm sorry you couldn't get an invite to the sleight of hand, Willow. (Looks at Amity) Only real witches are allowed. (To Lincoln) Although you can come if you want, Dragonborn.

Willow: (annoyed) You want him? To come with you?

Lincoln: (confused) You want me ? To come with you? (blinks) Dragonborn?

Amity: A little nickname for you that's been going around since the Covention. (Shudders) It sounded cool so the name stuck. (looks at Lincoln's new look) Nice threads.

Lincoln: Custom job, had help from my teacher. Having a sister with a strong sense for fashion helps with growing into a new look. Boscha, could you stop staring at me? You're making me uncomfortable.

Boscha (staring at his muscles before slapping herself awake again): Sorry, Lincoln. Amity. Again, only whole witches are allowed Half-A-Witch.

Amity: (sighs) Leave them alone. It's not their fault she was born talentless and he was born so prodigal. Bye, Lincoln.

Amity's group leaves. Willow growls at them, making several vines grow from the ground.

Lincoln: (hits the tallest vine) Woah, just listening to her made me want to poke her eyes out.

Luz: (hugs Willow) Don't waste your time getting thorny over them. Cause we're gonna have our own moonlight conjuring.

Gus: Are you serious? This was on my bucket list (Pulls it out and checks it off, showing notes regarding growing haunted bread, losing his baby fangs / teeth, digging a tunnel under Hexside, getting a squamping permit and being the surprise in a giant hollow cake) After owning an actual human bucket!

Luz: That's a really weird thing to want, but I appreciate your enthusiasm.

Lincoln: (rubs his arm) I don't know, guys. I'm afraid of losing control again after what happened back at the covention. (looks at the list) Squamping permit?

Willow: Don't worry about that, this spell is very safe, so the adults let the children do it, besides, you can't miss an opportunity like this.

Lincoln: (thinks about it for a moment) Well, count on me, but there are only four of us, excluding the Homunculi... (the Nebulosi wave back at them)we'll need someone else to do the spell.

Luz: But who?

Gus: (sighs) It's not like the answer will just appear out of nowhere.

Unknown Duo: Lincoln!

The four turn to see Edric and Emira approaching.

Lincoln: Gus, this is where the phrase, "Speak of the Devil and He shall come" is taken literally. (to the twins) Edric, Emira. Hi guys.

Emira: (noogies his head) How's it going, Snowball?

Luz: Hey, Linc? (pulls him away) Who are they and why are you letting them call you Snowball?

Lincoln: (gently pushes her aside) Guys this is Edric and Emira. I met them when we sneaked into Hexside with Gus and Willow, and I started going out with them at night ever since then. (scratches the back of his head) Emira mostly.

Luz: Wow, cool. (Gets an idea and gives him a look) Well, now.

But neither Luz nor Lincoln noticed that Willow and Gus were surprised.

Gus: (surprised) Y-You. You made friends with them?

Lincoln: Sure. (he said before noticing Gus and Willow frozen in place) Is there something wrong?

Willow: Lincoln, you don't realize that they're Blights. They are Amity's older twin siblings.

Lincoln is surprised and looks at the twins who gave him a sheepish smile.

Lincoln: Are you trying to tell that uptight snob of a witch is your sister? (changes tone) Meh.

Willow: What do you mean "meh"?

Lincoln: Oh, I had a feeling that they were related to her since that night. Remember David Steele?

Edric: (jazz hands) Surprise... (quickly drops them) spoil-sport! We were going to tell you but after that witch's duel you had with our sister at the covention, we decided to wait for the right time. Glad you don't care about that little detail.

Luz: (confused) So you're not upset that Lincoln was trying to kill Amity?

Emira: Don't worry, we also knew that he didn't want to kill her, he just wanted to scare the living heck out of her for insulting your friends. Also thanks for helping that patient back there, Hettie has been looking everywhere just to thank you for saving his life.

Lincoln: (gets nervous) Ahahahaha. Scaring her. Yep, that was the plan. No problem, Em.

Emira: (smiling at the nickname and turns to Luz and Willow) Anyway, you're the human that Hexside's been talking about and the plant witch with both a rose and a thorn. There will be so much to talk to you about. (looks at Gus) And you're the illusionist boy and the President of the Human Research Association.

Gus: (proudly pointed to himself) That's me.

Edric: (looks at Willow) Hey, aren't you one of Mitten's—

Willow: (interrupts him immediately nervously) Hey, I have an idea. Can they also come for the conjuring too?

Lincoln: (looks at her) Are you sure, I mean they're 16-year-old twins and they're Blights. No offense.

Twins: None taken.

Lincoln: I don't think they want to go.

Edric: Of course we'll go with you.

Emira: I think it will be fun.

Lincoln: (surprised) Wait, really?

Edric: Yes, in fact we were going to invite you to do our own take on the spell, but considering how reproachable and nosy some of her friends are, this can work too.

Luz: Great, so we're all set. We'll go tell Eda.

Luz and Lincoln run to find Eda leaving Willow and Gus with Edric and Emira.

Gus: (breaks the silence) So… which of you two is the eldest?

Morton's Shop, Bonesborough, Boiling Isles, Demon Realm

Morton: I have bad news and good news. The bad news is that I'm out until next week. The good news is that the feathers look good on you.

Eda: (A feather grows out of her hair) Morton!

That feather and several others fall to the ground as she stalks forward in annoyance.

Morton: Well gee, E. Why'd you wait to re-up until now?

Eda: (looks away with arms crossed) I've been very busy.

King: (From the bench) Yeah, busy playing Hexes Hold'em. She's obsessed with it.

Eda: I'm not obsessed!

King: You're playing it right now!

There are now several cards spread out on the counter, and Eda has one in her hand.

Eda: ...Am I winning?

Morton: (moves his head down, darkening his face) You know, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, but if you need your elixir, you can try your luck later tonight.

Eda: At the Night Market?

Morton: There's a guy with a job, he calls himself Grimm Hammer; If anyone has what you need, it's him.

Luz: (arrives next to Lincoln) Eda, Gus, Willow, Lincoln's new friends and I are gonna do a moonlight conjuring and stick it on Amity. So can we—

Eda: (Holds up her hand) Not tonight, I'm going out. (Grabs her staff and starts walking) I need you two to watch the house, I have many precious objects there.

King: Like me! Whoa!

Eda: (picks King up by his collar) You're coming with me. I need an extra pair of eyes looking for pickpockets, and an extra pair of hands in case I want to pickpocket.

Eda and King: Pickpocket!

Luz: Then, maybe they can come over to the house and…

Eda: No! Besides, conjurings are dumb; sitting in a circle holding hands. Pft. It's like magic for babies (Walks away)

Luz: But—

Lincoln: (stops Eda) Ok, you're valid to your own opinion but hear me out. First, it's safe because it's fun from kids to teenagers. Second, we promise not to break or steal something and if that happens we will take full responsibility.

Eda looks at them annoyed to realize that they're not going to give in.

Eda: (sighs annoyed) Fine, but if there's even a crack of damage, you'll have to wash Hooty for a week, all of him, by hand. (she walks away annoyed)

Willow, Gus, and the twins come running up.

Willow: Guys! What did Eda say?

Lincoln: She said yes. We can do it at the Owl House. As long as we don't make a mess or touch anything and/or steal anything of monetary value!

Gus: Yes!

Willow: Oh, you guys are the best!

Emira: I'll keep an eye on Ed here so he doesn't mess up.

Edric: Hey!

Gus: Oh look! (Points up, showing the celestial body having a skull for a face) The moon is rising into place. And the heavenly powers only align once a year.

Willow: Oh, I can't believe I finally have enough friends for a moonlight spell! Thanks guys!

Willow and Gus: (Sing-songy) We're gonna do a conjuring! We're gonna do a conjuring! Conjuring! Conjuring

Luz, Lincoln and the twins laugh a little at her attitude. But what no one knew was that someone was watching them, especially Lincoln. As for the Azarthian, Lincoln has become tingly with a new sensation not unlike the potion that he drank a week prior. It feels elevating, soothing, and oddly familiar.

Living Room, The Owl House, Boiling Isles, Demon Realm

Nighttime

Back at the Owl House after the sun had set, where the crickets are chirping. Luz and Lincoln were sitting on the sofa looking at Eda.

Eda: Lincoln, you're in charge while I'm away. (Puts on cape) Make sure Luz and Hooty stay out of trouble.

Hooty: (Muffled) Hoot hoot! (Opens the door) I don't need a babysitter. I'm a big boy house!

Lincoln: (gets up) Don't worry, you can count on us. We'd never betray your hard-earned trust. Luz would probably lie to you and agree to the event without your permission, then act suspicious by putting up her cat hood as a defensive response.

Luz: Harsh, but true (looks around) Wait, where is King?

Eda: (Smiles) He's here.

The cape is opened to reveal King, snoring, strapped in a pink baby carrier on her chest.

Eda: His little body just conks out when he's weightless. Watch this.

She moves from side to side, King doesn't wake up as he moves around like a rag doll.

Luz: Aww, he's so dangly. (Plays with her feet)

Lincoln: She looks a lot like Lily when she was a baby.

Eda: (Walks outside) Anyway, I'm really going now. And Luz, Lincoln...

Luz and Lincoln get nervous, the former pulling up her hood to her nose.

Eda: (points at them in a menacing light and tone) ...if you ruin the house, I'll never trust you again. (smiles with a lighter tone) No pressure! Bye!

Owlbert hoots as Eda flies away.Luz and Lincoln wave at them for a few seconds.

Lincoln: Wow, sometimes Eda can be scary.

Luz: I know. Should I really be doing this?

Lincoln: Don't worry, remember Willow is counting on us, and it will be fun.

Luz: (sighs) She's right, Willow is counting on us.

Lincoln: You guys can come out now. She's gone.

Unknown: Release!

Four bushes glow and explode, revealing Willow, Gus, Emira and Edric, in their casual clothes.

Willow is wearing an ocher long-sleeved dress, a blue bow with a yellow oval gem, light gray and dark gray striped leggings, and brown boots.

Gus has on a green tunic with white sleeves and a black belt. She also wears black tights and brown boots.

Edric's attire is a long-sleeved gray shirt, with a burgundy vest over it, held in place by a black belt at the waist; he wears gray pants with darker gray boots.

Emira is wearing a thick, large-sleeved gray T-shirt, with a burgundy vest over it; she uses a gem as a brooch on her vest. She also has gray shorts with burgundy edges and the usual sneakers.

Willow: I'm a sneaky sneakster!

Gus: I've got leaves in my pants...and I like that.

Lincoln: Guys, you're all here! Though you didn't have to hide yourselves. (thinks) You know what? Forget I said anything.

Emira: Of course we weren't going to forget about this conjuring. Amity's friends were annoying me more than usual as of late.

Luz and Lincoln lead them all inside.

Hooty: Company! Hurrah! Finally someone who listens to my stories! Well, once, a sparrow flew into my mouth, and then I... (door closes) Hey... (coughs up a blue sparrow, and it flies away chirping)

Lincoln: Welcome to the living room.

Luz: We call him that because he's technically alive! The walls breathe, look.

A wall moves with strong breaths. Willow and Edric take a closer look at it.

Willow: Lovely.

Edric: Amazing.

Gus: (rummaging through a chest) And look at all these human treasures. (Pulls out a skull) And real humans!

Emira: (points to the skull) That's a real skull.

Lincoln: I don't even want to think about where she got that from and whose corpse she had to desecrate to get it. (looks at Luz) Is that what I think it is?

Luz: (holding a bowl full of eyeballs) We have snacks, we have weird music!

She puts the needle on a gramophone, which produces an evil cackle. Gus approaches her with a blue bucket on his head.

Gus: We have a bucket!

Luz: Gus, my man.

Willow: And best of all, we have real friends to do magic with! This is very exciting!

Lincoln: Well, how does this moonlight conjuring thing work?

Willow: Well, first, we find an object to animate. Since it's our first time, we should choose something meaningful (Walks towards some flowers in a green owl-themed pot) Something beautiful.

Gus: (bursts through the flowers with an action figure with medium nougat skin, black hair, gold bracelets and belt, black spandex, blue pants, white shoes and a red shirt with the words "BEEFY BOB" written on his chest) Do you like this strangely fond little man? (Touches the stomach of the figure)

Beefy Bob: I'm half meat, half Bob!

Edric: Yes! We can use it.

Luz: He's perfect!

Lincoln: It's kind of scary.

Willow: That's not exactly what I meant by "beautiful."

Gus lowers the action figure, groaning and looking hurt.

Willow: (relents) Okay, buff boy it is.

Lincoln: I also got this little statue. (showing a horned demonic statue made of bone)

Emira: Going for two? I dig it.

Willow: Now that's what I call beautiful.

Luz: Yes! (hugs Willow)

Gus: Tonight they will be risen!

Emira: (picks her shoulders) It's fine with me.

Cut to the moon rising in the sky. Gus places Beefy Bob and the statuette on the ground between the three of them. There are several candles burning around them.

Willow: According to the moonlight conjuring books I've read, we say the spell and make a connection to the dolls.

Everyone touches hands except Lincoln who hesitated for a minute but decided to go ahead, grabbing onto Luz and Emira's hands respectively.

Gus: Figurines.

The five of them began to say the incantation while their entire bodies began to glow, Lincoln's golden aura mixing with that of the blue emanating from the others.

Willow, Gus, Edric and Emira: Moonlight, we call, we sing. Moonlight take this chance. Moonlight come tie the string. Moonlight start the dance!

Luz: Moonlight tie... string... and I don't know the words!

Lincoln didn't say anything, he just stared at the moon, entranced by it's light. But he was murmuring the incantation perfectly, although in a different manner.

Lincoln: (echoing) Lunae lucem vocamus, canimus. Hoc casu Lunae lucem capiat. Lumen advenit ligamen chordae. Chorus lunae incipit!

The moon keeps coming out. Hooty looks at the celestial body. The moon stops moving and a burst of blue light comes out of it. A similar burst of blue light erupts between the group members, spreading out across the room, blowing out the candles. They all open one eye and look at Beefy Bob and the statue

Gus: That's your cue, little guys.

The entire house rumbles. Hooty and Lincoln blink, their eyes turning the same blue, the latter flashing in and out of blue and gold. They begin to make ghostly noises. The birds fly away from the house while squawking. The foundations crack as the Owl House rises. The six children scream as they lose their balance. The Owl House stops rising, now standing on gigantic bird legs.

Cut to the living room, now in great disarray. Lincoln opened his eyes and realized that he was lying on top of Emira and when the two looked into each other's eyes, Lincoln immediately turned away with a big blush.

Lincoln: (turns his face away) Sorry I didn't realize.

Emira stares at him and smiles at him. The ground shakes again, flipping them over with Emira on top. Lincoln's hands on the ground and his left knee raised up.

Luz: Guys? (A book falls on her head) Did the whole house just hiccup?

Gus: Little buff guys, what did you do?

Beefy Bob: A real man never takes responsibility!

The statuette however crumbles, in the direction of Lincoln and Emira.

Edric: (looks out the window and gasps) Guys? Is it normal that the house has bird feet?

Willow: I think—I think we might have livened up the house by accident!

Luz: The house?

Hooty and Lincoln continue to make ghostly noises. Luz ran out and she almost fell off the ledge if Edric didn't grab her by the shirt. Gus, Willow, Edric join her outside as the House begins to walk. They all scream. The door slams shut.

Luz: (Running to the door) Hooty? Hooty! Hooty, you have to stop! Lincoln, do something!

Hooty: By the power of moonlight, we have risen. Hoot Hoot.

Lincoln: (deep voice) By the light of the silver moon, join with the radiance of the golden sun and become one! Hoot hoot.

Emira: (shakes his body / voiceover) They're in some kind of trance, this isn't good!

The Owl House passes through two trees. The jostling causes Gus to scream as he and Luz lose their balance. Gus almost falls, but Luz and Willow catch him.

Willow / Luz: Gus!

Emira: (voiceover) How did this happen?!

Edric: I've never seen a house do this, makes moving to a new place seem easy.

Willow: Our magic must have spread through the house instead of the dolls!

Gus: Figurines!

Emira: (voiceover) I think Lincoln's trance may be caused by his power mixing with that of the moon! But if he's being affected by this too, then what exactly is he animating?

Edric: Less talking, more breaking and entering.

Luz and Willow grunt as they try not to drop Gus. They both almost fall over but Emira and Edric catch them making everyone grab each other's hand for balance. The glow returns and Lincoln seems to snap back to normal.

Lincoln: (normal voice) Hooty, stop now!

The House stops moments before it would have fallen off a cliff with his left foot in the air. The others manage to get Gus back to safety and they all let go, looking at their hands.

Gus: How did we do that?

Emira: Lincoln, you're alright! You zoned out hard back there. You said something about holding hands agiain?

Following their lead, they do, their bodies shining once more. The Owl House takes several steps away from the cliff.

Edric: Wow great.

Emira: It's amazing.

Willow: We're controlling it with the power of friendship. Oh, and the moon. Probably the moon.

Gus: This is amazing! What do we do now?

They let go as the glow fades again.

Luz: On the one hand, we should probably stay put.

Gus: On the other hand, we have a giant house to walk on and we should take it for a walk!

Edric: I like how you guys think.

Luz and Lincoln look at each other and look at the moon that is now descending.

Lincoln: Okay let's take a walk but we have to be back before the moon sets before Eda kills us all. (eye glows blue out) Oops. Going out. Enjoy leg day.

He goes limp as the others help to keep him placed in the circle of candles. From there, they continue leading the house forward, cheering. Not noticing someone watching this from a distance, the same demon hunter from the market.

Gus and Luz: Yeah! Joyride!

Demon Hunter #1 growls.

Unknown, Boiling Isles, Demon Realm

A pair of eyes begin to open as if awakening from a long slumber. It looks around to get his bearings, seeing only the setting moon and the infinite sky. It tries to move but fails to do so, though he can make his fingers move. It then begins to feel the sensation of thousands, if not millions of creatures crawling on and inside his body like parasites. It remembers something told to him before he was cast into a death-like sleep. It takes a deep breath, a harsh gust for those smaller than him and begins to prepare.

Night Market, Boiling Isles, Demon Realm

Cut to a sign that says "NIGHT MARKET", behind a pair of pikes with skulls on them. Every booth in the market is bathed in red light. Eda walks down the central passage of the market before stopping.

Eda: (Sighs, covering the feathers that grew on her left arm with her hand) The curse. I need that elixir. Quick. (Sees a hooded demon sitting next to a box) Hey you. Do you know where I can find a Grimm Hammer?

The demon nods with a snarl. A smaller lizard-like creature pops out of its eye socket and points to a premonition post with a horned skull on top labeled "MUD SUNDRY". Eda approaches. The devil eats the lizard, none of them noticing that the ribs above of them are bending.

The Forest, Boiling Isles, Demon Realm

Cut to the Owl House, still walking through the woods. Boscha walks by with a dead crow and a pink duffle bag with an eye on each side.

Willow: Hey, that's...

Gus: It's Boscha. That girl who made fun of us.

Lincoln: (voiceover) Is she talking to a dead bird?

Emira: Yes, it is a cell phone here.

Lincoln: (looks at her) Really?

Boscha: (To the crow) Ugh! Yes mom. I'm going to a moonlight conjuring. No, Mom. You can't come. And yes, Mom, it's sad that you are asking.

She releases the crow, which caws as it flies away. She turns around and sees the Owl House.

Willow: She noticed us. What do we do?

Lincoln: (gives a smile) I think it's time for a prank, Luan would be proud that if she didn't hate me.

Luz: (They smile and Boscha will talk to him through a megaphone made by Gus) Hey. H-Hey you. You should stop being so mean to people. You are a bit of an idiot.

Everyone laughs.

Bosch: Ew. Is a talking house giving me a lecture? Whatever. I'll TP you like I did the rest of the neighborhood.

Luz: But don't you see? I am not a mere house.

The Owl House rises as Luz roars. Boscha screams and runs off. The other six laugh. Suddenly a hand construct shoots out of the house and grabs Boscha, then aiming in the right spot, flicks her in said direction like a gnat.

Emira: (nudges Lincoln) Good idea about the prank, Snowball. Especially the hand trick.

Lincoln blushes and smiles at her.

Gus: I've never pulled a prank on anyone before. And now I have a taste for it.

Edric: Welcome to the club, friend.

Lincoln (mentally) Just what I need, another Luan. I hope Gus's marbles are all in one place.

Willow: We should follow her to Amity's house to show off our conjuring. That will show her who's got no talent.

Edric: (glares at Willow) You want to upset our sister?

Willow: (panicking) Uh, yeah?

Edric: Because that's an amazing idea. Let's do it. Em and I have a few ideas to work with when we get back home.

Luz and Lincoln look at the moon, which is almost at the top of the trees and is still going down.

Luz: Actually, I'm starting to think we should go back.

Lincoln: If it's also not worth it.

Gus: (shows his Penstagram) Amity is upgrading her Penstagram.

Luz: "Shout out to my fellow witches. #Humans can bite it. #Azarathians can wing it." (gasps) Let's do it.

Lincoln: Calm down, Luz. Don't let it bother you. Neat hashtag though.

But then the notification bell rang again and Lincoln saw that Amity aka Witchchick128 made another post.

Lincoln: "The white haired guy with a cursed sword is damned and above all else, a weakling."

Lincoln got very angry at this last word, showing his scales.

Lincoln: I'm not sure if that was honest or not, but let's get over there and show her what real talent is.

The Owl House continues walking while everyone applauds. Several shadowy figures fly after them with the trees turn to watch their passing.

Mud Sundry, Night Market, Boiling Isles, Demon Realm

Eda approaches the designated stall and looks through the curtain.

Eda: Hello? Uh, I'm looking for the one they call Grimm Hammer.

Unknown: (Ominously.) I'm the one they call Grimm Hammer.

The curtain rises. A pig-like character with a curly, red-barbed tail, huge ears, a small nose, and two protruding tusks and wearing glasses with an orchid vest and lilac bow added on to a white dress shirt appears

Grimm Hammer: (Normal voice) Welcome, welcome, welcome. I've got weapons from the Hinterlands, curses from the Hinterlands, and jelly beans.

He tosses the jellybeans like confetti. King reaches for them and catches one.

King: Jelly beans!

Grimm Hammer: They're lethally delicious.

King opens his mouth to eat it anyway. Eda takes it from her hand.

Eda: Are you Grimm Hammer?

Grimm Hammer: Tibblet-Tibblie Grimm Hammer the Third. Please call me Tibbles.

King: (Laughs) He wants to be called that.

Eda: It's okay, Tibbles. I need some of this elixir (Gives her an empty bottle)

Tibbles: Oh. This is one wicked brew. Lucky for you, (grabs one with his tail) I just stocked up.

Eda: Huzzah! I'll give you ten snails (takes out her purse)

Tibbles: Add two more zeros and it's a deal.

Eda: A thousand snails? What kind of game are you playing?

Tibbles: Capitalism. Where everyone wins, (goes further into his stand) except you.

Eda: Hey! (Notices a deck of cards) Say, you play Hexes Hold'em?

King: Really? Now?

Tibbles: Oh! Is that what that game is called? (chuckles and returns to the counter) I was just using these as coasters.

Eda: How about we make it interesting? I win, you give me the elixir. You win, you can take something of mine.

Tibbles: Oh, what fun. You're on.

Eda smiles, an eye that wasn't there before watc

The awakened being sees and hears all that lives and breathes on its body upon this night. Many good, many bad, and many things that should never see the light of day. Its heartbeat feels wrong, as if something is siphoning out his blood. No, it cannot think about that at a time like this. The beacons must be lit. The signal must be sent. Slowly, it begins to take a deep breath and opens its palms.

Blight Manor Grounds, Bonesborough, Boiling Isles, Demon Realm

Back to Bonesborough, where the Owl House is passing through town. People in the streets scream and run for cover.

They eventually reach the gate to a large mansion with a door that says "BLIGHT MANOR" in front of it. Blight Manor is a huge manor on a hill, made from purple and gray stone, with a brown shingle roof, and a purple door complete with stone chimneys and a large spire. Round, stained-glass windows are found at the highest level of the manor, with diamond shapes painted on them. The manor takes the resemblance of an English castle, covered in red moss.

Willow: Look, Amity's house.

Lincoln: Wow you guys really live like royalty.

Emira: It's not that exciting if you get used to it. Prince and the Pauper and what-not.

Willow: It's time to show Amity what a real conjuring looks like.

The Owl House starts to move forward, but is stopped by a giant rope arcing over the roof.

All: Wha—

Willow: What happened?

Luz: (Points) Is that a... giant crossbow?

Lincoln: (head perks up) Oh no! And that's technically a ballista, not a crossbow. (Head falls down again.)

Demon Hunter #1 gives the signal for the ballista to fire. A second giant bolt and rope further secure the house. Demon Hunter #1 jumps in front of the kids.

Demon Hunter #1: Knock, knock.

They all gasp. Lincoln jumps before falling flat on his face.

Lincoln: (raises hand) Who's there?

The Owl House is now tied to a large wagon being pushed through the forest by the demon hunters. One stands on top of a cliff and blows a horn. Cut to the front door, Hooty and Lincoln making strange noises as Luz, Willow, Gus, Edric and Emira inside, kicks at it. Lincoln is tied separately with a different kind of binding, His eyes unable to decide between gold and blye

Luz: Hello! Hooty! You have to wake up!

Hooty: If you want this to end as you say, six must hold hands. It is the only way.

Luz: ¡Oye, no me hable así! / Hey, don't talk to me like that! Willow, will you help me out with Hooty?

Willow: I'm sorry, Luz. You shouldn't ask me to help you with anything.

Luz: Willow.

They all scream and grunt when the house stops moving.

Luz: Did the house stop moving?

Gus: Uh, my insides didn't.

Lincoln: Technically, the platform we're on stopped moving.

The door squeaks open, causing all six of them to whimper. Demon Hunter #1 is laughing, who is later pushing all of them out of the Owl House.

All: Ow! Ow! Ow! (everyone yells, growls)

Demon Hunter #1: Take the house and rip the demon out of the house. We can sell it to restaurants as exotic meat. Perhaps someone will pay a high snail for all the furniture in this place.

Luz: No! Hooty would taste terrible.

Hooty: Hey, I'm a refined taste. Hoot! Hoot!

Emira: Not helping!

Demon Hunter #3: What do we do with the worms? (points to the children)

Luz looks at her friends and Lincoln with worry.

Demon Hunter #1: Throw them all off the cliff. Except for him. (points to Lincoln, surprises him despite his somewhat drunken state) The client wants him alive and in one piece. but she didn't say he had to be untouched.

Demon Hunter #3 chuckles as he approaches them. He pulls Lincoln out and throws him to the side.

Lincoln: (looks at them, eyes glowing gold then blue again) Guys!

Luz: Lincoln!

Demon Hunter #3: (leads them to the cliff) All right, kids. Here is the end of your short little lives. A little conjuring of our own.

He pushes them to the edge of a cliff overlooking the sea.

Gus: (Groans.) Wait! Wait! Wait! (Turns the group around so they're facing the demon hunter.) Is this really what you want to do with your life? Throw the kids off the cliffs?

Demon Hunter #3: Actually, yes. It has been my dream since I was a child.

The five look at him for a long moment.

Emira: Are you sick or what?

Demon Hunter #3: (shrugs) I was a strange child. Whee! (pushes them and laughs)

They all scream, including Lincoln who tries to break through the bindings. Unfortunately he left Caliburn in his room, which was part of the tower that still remained when the Owl House went on its nightly stroll.

Soon the quintet are dangling from a sticking over the cliffside by the rope.

Luz: If we're not killed, we will be when Eda finds out about the house.

Emira: And the worst thing will be what will happen to Lincoln! And to us if Eda finds out about this too.

Willow: Luz, I'm so sorry. You wanted to turn back, but I just had to show off to Amity and now Lincoln is paying the price. The truth is that she and I used to be friends.

Luz: Whaaat?

The branch cracks.

Willow: We used to play together as kids, but when she got her magical powers and I didn't, she stopped hanging out with me.

Gus: Guys, is now the best time?

Emira: (coldly) Just let her vent, Augustus. We know about this situation too, but chose not to say anything.

Willow: (sighs) I just wanted to prove to her that I was a powerful witch too.

Luz: That's ridiculous. You helped bring a house to life. Amity doesn't know what she's talking about.

Willow smiles.

Luz: Next to Eda and Lincoln, you are the most powerful witch I know. No offense, guys.

Gus: Not at all. I know what I am.

Emira: (nods) Yeah, we all know what you mean.

The branch cracks and they all yelp.

Gus: This tree can't hold us much longer.

Willow: (grunts as she frees one hand) There. Now if I could get to that root. Gotcha!

Her hand glows green as she grabs it and back on the ground, small shards begin to rise from the earth around Lincoln and the giant fingers in the distance start to open.

Mud Sundry, Night Market, Boiling Isles, Demon Realm

Back at Tibbles' stand in the Night Market, we see a flaming stack of Hexes Hold'em cards.

King: Oof. That was painful to watch.

Eda: You card shark, you hustled me.

Tibbles: (Laughs.) Looks like you forgot about my wild card.

His wild card, the same one that Eda played against Owlbert, jumps out of his hand onto the counter.

Card: (Grunts and rips his shirt off.) Yeah!

Tibbles: In any case, I'd like my prize now. And I choose... the little bone boy. (chuck;es and takes King and puts on the baby carrier) I always wanted a tiny servant to model my line of baby clothes.

King: (tries to push him away) No! I don't look good in clothes. I'm all-natural. Eda, do something!

Eda twists her finger, but no magic comes out of it, but her arm erupts in feathers.

Eda: (grunts) I can't perform magic.

Tibbles snaps his fingers and green magical chains sprout from the ground to envelop Eda. She falls to the ground.

Eda: You think this can stop me? I can still bite your ankles.

Tibbles: You think I don't know who you are? Eda, the Owl Lady.

Eda gasps.

Tibbles: That's right. (He pulls out her wanted poster) I've seen your wanted posters around here. I wonder how much the Emperor's Coven would pay me to turn you and your kid in.

Eda stares at him, growling.

Unknown, Boiling Isles, Demon Realm

Its hearing picks up a twin performance of torment from two locations. However one of them gives a presence it hasn't felt in untold ages. Now. Now is the time for release. It builds its strength, flowing into its palms and its maw. Soon all will hear its roar, and rejoice.

Cliffside, Boiling Isles, Demon Realm

Back to the cliff with the Owl House, the demon hunters were busy chatting about their recent quarries, "venting" their frustrations in their more humanoid catch.

Demon Hunter #3: Yeah, they tried to fight back and almost got me. But you know, I handled it.

Demon Hunter #1: They were children, Tom.

Lincoln: (dazed) Well, I know they're still alive and what they want is me and Hooty. Trust me, people like me are quite stubborn and hard to kill.

Demon Hunter #1: (ignoring) In addition to the house we were hired to trap, it seems that a living Azarathian is still worth a lot. A shame that we can't sell to him some uptight nobles like the Blights. I hear this guy embarrassed the Raven Woman's protege in front of everyone.

Demon Hunter #4: The boss sent our entire clan here in case of any problems (looks at Lincoln) She will be pleased to learn of his capture. But there is something you should know. Our scouts have been noticing that Isles have been slowly moving, all of them getting the feeling that they are being watched by something powerful.

Lincoln continues to struggle against the chains, the bonds that hold him continuing to shine brighter.

Demon Hunter #1 (laughs): Don't bother, freak. Those chains were runeforged to render the bound's magic useless. (smacks him) Learn your place!

He spits some blood out, annoyed with the same old insult, however a root next shows a jade glow, making him believe that the opposite will happen. Lincoln gasps and before he could respond a shadow fell over the main group. Willow had made the little root grow into a huge plant, and she and the others are standing on a purple leaf. She moves one of the thorny vines to cut the ropes and free those who fell with her.

Willow: We may be children, but we are also witches. Powerful ones.

She sets the plant to attack. It flings Tom away. The three-eyed witch pulls out a sword and cuts off the tip of one of the vines. Another three-eyed witch tries to hit a vine with an axe, but misses. The vine grabs their ankles and throws them into a pile of rubble. Unfortunately for the quintet and the plant creature, the rest of the demon hunters arm themselves and already have spells at the ready. Lincoln continues to gaze at the setting moon then to his right, and gets a crazy idea.

Demon Hunter #2: Nice try, girlie. But we will have those bounties. Even if we have to take yours to do it.

Before anyone else can make another move, the ground begins to shake and wave violently, too clean and fluid to break. Yet too fast and sudden to be eroded. The water below the cliff begins to glow, becoming infused with energy and quickly spreading in all directions. In the distance, all among the isles can make out two massively growing orbs of energy on each palm and one coming from its skull. The area around them begins to bloom and pulsate with energy, as if the very land itself is coming to life. Luz and Emira turn to see Lincoln enveloped in a silver aura, muttering something and casting some kind of incantation.

Lincoln: (deep echo, his right eye glowing blue) Lumen argenteum lunae, solis aurei iubare iunge et fias una! Titanes regni daemonis, da mihi vires omnes, quas ego curo, defendere debeo!

The Azarathian strains against the shackles that bind, this time managing to break the runes that hold, surprising the demon hunters as an earthen formation grows around him. When completed, a winged creature of living earth six people high stands before them, Lincoln's body housed in his chest, sharing the same primal aesthetic and charged aura from the covention. It gazes upon the heavens and after extending his arms, screams. Both orbs on its hands and the skull scream, unleashing a wave of energy across the isles and beyond and blasting five beams into the infinite sky, creating a false daylight with its radiance. When finished, it stares down upon the assembled crowd, assembling a two-handed mace and shield.

Lincoln / Earth Elemental: What's the matter, hunters? I thought you guys wanted those bounted on us, even if you had to cut us down to it?

A similar formation occurs around each of the other five kids, granting them armored guardians, Luz gains one spawned of pure light. Willow's plant gains more humanoid features and four legs, becoming a living tree. Gus is shrouded in a large wraith made of magic. Edric is consumed in flame and armor, yet it does not burn him. Emira's entity heals her wounds in cool water and ice, refusing to let her drown.

Each of the five ran to the house while each were fighting a quintet of their supposed the other demon hunters. Eventually, Luz and Emira manage to get to where Lincoln is and cut the enchanted chains with one of the lightspawn's fingers while Emira's elemental seeps its essence into the earthen core, healing the Azarathian's wounds.

Lincoln: (shakes his head and cracks his neck) I'm glad you're all okay. Don't worry. I'm in control of Terros. I saw the moon and I remembered the horned statuette I found seemed similar to the Boiling Isles itself, so I just performed a similar incantation. I need to thank Lisa for leaving out those books in Latin.

Emira: That's actually a genius play, Lincoln. Now come on, Snowball. We're getting out of here.

Luz splits from the lightspawn to open the door for the others, who each launch them inside, and then closes it behind her. Terros raises its mace, and more earthen shards begin to form around the Owl House's sides, forming arms.

Luz: Everybody, quick!

The six join hands again. Cut to Demon Hunter #1 cutting through a vine with a shock spell. As he does so, the Owl House remains standing.

Demon Hunter #1: (Picking up his eyepatch to reveal a second eye) Uh...

The Owl House steps forward, crushing him. Beyond the horizon, the moon continues to set, it's edge now ebbing into the water.

Luz: Oh no. I don't intend to step on this victory, but we have to get home before Eda.

The Owl House walks away with its elemental entourage, leaving behind the ruins of the battle. Demon Hunter #1 groans.

Demon Hunter #3: "They're just kids, Tom."

Spikes quickly jut out of the ground killing each and every other demon hunter who tried to capture them.

We see the Crimson Empyrean with a fading glow on her right hand, watching the last living demon hunters in pain with a displeased expression and disappearing into the trees.

Night Market, Bonesborough, Boiling Isles, Demon Realm

Cut to the Night Market, where Eda is still chained to the ground, and King is sulking in a green sailor suit.

Eda: King, I'm sorry.

King: King? Who's King? I'm go by Little Bone Boy now.

Eda: I know I have a problem. I am obsessed with Hexes Hold'em. But I'm done with that stupid game. Look. (She eats a card.)

King: You promise?

Eda: (muffled) I promise.

King: (chuckles) Okay, okay. (He removes the chain from his left ankle.) I'll get you the elixir and then we can bust out of here.

Tibbles: Bone boy!

King: Heh?

Tibbles: You will do no such thing. The Emperor's Coven is already on its way to send this witch here to the Conformatorium. Shame that boy of yours isn't here with you.(Holds up a thespian suit.) And I just rustled up some more clothes for you to try on. (chuckles)

Eda: (mentally) He doesn't know about the inmates' takeover. Those convicts have really made sure to keep word from getting out.

King: (throws the hat on the counter.) Just because I have a model's body doesn't mean you can use me like this.

Strong footsteps make a candle flame flicker and the walls begin to tighten.

Tibbles: (Getting on the counter.) I can and I will, bone boy. I have the cards against you.

Loud footsteps can be heard in the distance closing in.

Tibbles: And nothing can stop me. Nothing!

One of the feet of the Owl House goes straight through Tibbles' stand. A bottle of Eda's elixir falls to the ground, untouched thanks to a sprouting hand of a small earth elemental, who drags it beneath the ground to an unknown destination.

Luz: (Waving through the window.) Sorry, mister.

The Owl House continues down the street. Eda sits up and laughs. King walks away from Tibbles.

Eda: (notices what passed them) Wait, what? Was that my house?

King: Eda, quick!

He throws the elixir at her. She catches it in her mouth and downs it, then spits out the bottle. She casts a circle of spells that causes the chains to explode, and her feathers fall from her arms.

Tibbles: No, no, no! My scam booth.

Eda: Sorry, Tibbles, man. Looks like you forgot about the wild card.

She grabs her staff and throws a series of cards at Tibbles. She and King leave while he is distracted.

Tibbles: Curse you, witch. Curse you, bone boy. I will have my revenge. Tibblet-Tibblie Grimm Hammer the Third will have his revenge.

Tibbles' booth falls apart from the strain and stone spikes surround the booth, before flattening itself and the building into an empty lot, with little to no trace of the structure that once stood there.

Unknown, Boiling Isles, Demon Realm

With its mission completed, it can feel the lunar energy leaving its body as the moon sets upon the horizon. As life leaves its eyes for good, it makes one last effort. Using whatever remains of its power, it manages to keep the two links open. Hopefully the one of whom it was told and the one who mentioned him will find this useful.

The Owl House, Boiling Isles, Demon Realm

Cut to the Owl House's usual location as it sits in the crater it left behind. Inside the living room, Luz opens one eye. She sees Lincoln get back on his footing, the glow in his eyes vanishing and the effects of the conjuring dissipating across the homestead. Terros and the other elementals give them all a nod and vanish, returning to their home planes.

Luz: Did we do it?

Hooty: (Opens the door.) Is the room spinning or is it just me? (chuckles) Oh. Just a little humor on the house. Ooh.

Luz: Sorry about all that, Hooty.

Hooty: It's ok. I'm glad I was included. Plus it felt nice to have some limbs, at least for a while destroying everything I came across.

The door slams shut, revealing Eda and King on the other side.

Luz: Oh boy.

Lincoln: This is bad. (notices King's outfit) Did Eda lose a game of Hexes Hold'Em?

Eda: You are so busted. And the other guy cheated.

Luz: Oh man.

Eda: You held a moonlight conjuring.

Lincoln: We did.

Eda. And you animated my house. My house! I'm guessing someone here is responsible for making the ground move.

Luz / Lincoln. Yes.

Eda: You better have a good excuse.

Willow: (Stepping in front of Luz.) No. Don't punish Luz. We're the ones who pushed her to do the conjuring.

Gus: (Stepping in front of Willow.) If you're gonna eat me, just do it now. Do it now!

Emira: (Stepping in front of Lincoln with Edric) If you're to get to Lincoln, you have to get through me first.

Lincoln / Edric: Say what now?

Eda looks disgusted at the idea.

Luz: (To Willow.) Hey, you didn't have to do that.

Willow: Yes, Luz. I did.

Lincoln: Well, the quick story is that Willow wanted to prove to Amity that she has talent, rampaged across town, took down some demon hunters hired by an unknown client, and after answering my call, the isles started moving. We're sorry. I'm sorry.

Eda: Well, you technically didn't destroy the house but you still left a big mess so everyone here will be punished by cleaning my house from top to bottom.

She summons various cleaning items; paper towels, a cleaning spray bottle, a bucket of water, a broom and a mop made from a bone, which all fall into the children's arms.

Lincoln: Fair enough.

Eda: And another thing...

Everyone gulps.

Eda: (lighter tone) That was totally amazing. And I'm so joining you for next year's conjuring. Now get to work.

The six of them run off. Eda drops onto the sofa.

King: I can't believe they animated an entire house. But I have a good guess who caused the isles to move.

Eda: Yes. You're right. That requires some powerful magic. But creating a conjuring spell of that magnitude to affect the land requires a new kind of power and an ancient tongue.

Luz: (To Willow.) You know, I still kinda wish we got to show up Amity.

Willow: Yeah. Too bad no one knows about our daring adventures.

Lincoln: But it was fun except for the part about the hunters. But I wonder who hired them to capture me?

Everyone laughs, not really paying attention to his valid question.

Daybreak

Back to Amity's bedroom, where there is a stuffed pink rabbit sitting on the floor. Boscha, Cat, Skara and Amelia glare at him. For some strange reason, possibly through some warding around the room, they are completely unaware of tonight's events.

Boscha: Ugh. So what if we couldn't move a doll? Now we have time for what really matters. Pentsagram. (quietly) Wish that white-haired kid was here with us.

She summons her scroll. The other three summon their own a few seconds later.

Meanwhile, Amity is brooding, looking out the window. Boscha gasps, getting her attention. She walks over and looks at Boscha's scroll. Her Penstagram feed has posts from various people showing Willow, Luz, Gus, Emira, Edric, Lincoln, the Owl House, the elementals they rode upon and many regions of the Isles coming to life. Amity and Boscha share an astonished look.

Tin3noz: Oh my gosh, Have you seen this?

4eyedpride: #Walking House

Bonezborugh_Bro: #Am I dreaming?!

Gutz-N-Gorey: Who are they?!

Horns_Not_Thorns: Holy Titan!

eyeleen: Best. Moonlight Conjuring. Ever!

friendly_neighborhood_pointyhead: It's alive. It's Alive!

Daily_Knee_Views: (shows picture of the energy beacons)

Amity / Boscha: What?!

Crows squawking in surprise to the shout.

The birds pause as the color fades and another Lincoln appears, acting as backdrop again.

Lincoln: Just so you know, Willow did eventually find out about Amity and her friends' reaction from Emira and did a little happy dance when she thought no one was around. FYI. SYL. (leaves)

The Owl House, Boiling Isles, Demon Realm

After cleaning the entire house, it was time for their guests to go.

Willow: Bye, that was fun.

Gus: See ya.

The two leave, leaving only Lincoln with the Blight twins

Lincoln: Thank you both for coming, I'm sorry if things didn't turn out as expected. Demon Hunters were not part of the itnerary.

Edric: Are you kidding? We put a spell on a whole house and you put one on the entire isles! People are gonna be talking about this for who knows how long.

Emira: This was so much better than what we could have ever hoped for. You and your friends are pretty cool, especially you, Lincoln. By the way, here.

Emira hands him a talisman showing a decagram forged by two pentagrams joined together.

Emira: Take it as a gift. Be seeing you.

Lincoln (stops her) Em, wait! Take this. (He gives her a white scroll which she takes)

Lincoln: I know Amity has been freaking out about the nature of these... (pauses to find the right term) Homunculi. And from what I've read about you and your family so far, I think you may need this when you and your siblings are ready to break your chains. Keep it secret, keep it safe.

She takes a moment to consider his words, then nods. The twins leave, leaving Lincoln to blushe at Emira's departure. Luz looks at him and smirks at him.

Luz: Well, well, well. She's very pretty, isn't she? (raises an eyebrow smugly)

Lincoln: (Looks at her) Luz, I don't know what she's talking about. (enters the house)

Luz: (also enters, still acting strange) Well, well, well.
