I hope everyone is having a great Valentine's Day today, but first I have something to say and get it out of my way. Happy Valentine's Day! Any way, there will be some fluff and romance in this chapter between OC's, the chapter will also explain on what's happening to Light and his family and friends, and the chapter will also tell you about Spyro and Cynder in Warfang. So, its kind of an excited chapter to be honest. So, I hope everyone likes that.
As for the next chapter though, I've only gotten the title written down so far and will be starting to write the rest of the chapter soon. As to when the chapter will be posted up, probably won't be posted up till at least September or October of this year. Reason for the long wait, I'm writing and working on another BioShock story that will be posted up next month. That's the reason for the long wait, but the chapter could be posted up much earlier in the year. Depending on how the year go's for me that is.
Any who, that's all I have to say for now and I hope everyone enjoys Valentine's Day and the rest of the week.

Castle Walls Are Falling Down, Falling Down
(Location: 55 miles away from Warfang, in Light's Castle home.)
Time: Nighttime.
All was peaceful within the castle, until a very rumble and loud boom echoed throughout the halls and walls of the castle.
"There goes the first tower." Onyx said plainly to Light who was on the right.
Light nodded, "It won't be long be before the others follow as well."
"What's with all the loud rumbling and booming sounds." Asked Theresa as she walked up to two the adult dragons as she lifted her right paw up to her face and started rubbing away at her tired and sleepy eye lids as a yawn escaped from her muzzle.
Light smiled down at his young sister, "Sleeping were you, Theresa. I'm sorry to say, but we're being attacked by Ember's summoning Goblin flyers right now."
This got the blue dragonesses attention right away as she looked up to her older brother, "She used the spell book to summon them and possibly used other spells on top of them I imagine. Right?"
Light sighed and nodded, "I'm afraid so, Theresa."
Another loud rumbling and boom were heard once again as the castle rumbled and shook as the three dragons standing in the main entrance way heard and felt the very same rumble and shaking as well.
"That's the second tower down now." Onyx simply stated.
Before the ice dragoness could speak, another loud rumbling and shaking happened quickly beneath the three dragons before stopping and then going completely silent and dead for now. The ice dragoness gave her brother questioningly look right now and waited for his answer and response to her. Light rubbed his neck with his right paw this time and sighed softly to himself as he stopped rubbing his neck scales and looking down at his sister with serious eyes right now.
"That rumbling and shaking my dear sister was from the shield volcano below us and the castle and judging from the sounds of it she's ready to blow too." Light told his sister seriously.
Theresa just shook her head this time around, "Great! Another thing to worry about."
Light placed his right paw on his sister's right shoulder and squeezed it gently as Theresa's tail swayed behind her, "The volcano is going to erupt tonight, Theresa. Once the castle drops into the magma below it will cause a pre-mature eruption from the volcano. Leaving nothing but ash and lava. So don't worry about it, we'll be out of here before the volcano erupts and starts spiting magma and ash clouds."
Theresa just sighed and shook her head as she looked down at the floor with her eyes closed while her older brother removed his right paw from her right shoulder and placed it back onto the ground floor once more. Theresa opened her eyes once again and looked up to her brother and gave him a friendly smile in return.
"I know, Light, but I thought this shield volcano was extinct and no longer had any magma within it's chamber." Theresa said to her brother.
Light nodded, "Well, you can thank Malefor and the Destroyer for that, Theresa. When the Destroyer activated the Belt of Fire, that thing pretty much reactivated every extinct volcano within a 60-mile radius. Because of the Destroyer, every volcano that was thought to be extinct is now once again active and ready to blow."
Light looked down at the floor and continued with his talking point to his younger sister, "When I built this castle on top of this ancient shield volcano, I thought for sure that the volcano would never erupt or be active ever again. I built my home here so I could be closer to you and Spyro, Cynder, and Fire so I could travel to the city much more easily. That and plus, the castle had a great view of the lands and Warfang from a distance, but thanks to Malefor and the Destroyer. This shield volcano is once again active and ready to blow sky high."
Another loud rumble and boom were heard once more as the castle shook as its stone walls, floors, and roofs started to crack under pressure. Light looked from the floor and looked towards his friend, Onyx and saw him look his way this time.
"That's the third tower now. We should consider leaving, Light. Before things get even worse." Onyx pointed out quickly to his white scaled friend.
Light nodded his head, "Indeed."
Behind the three dragons, two adult young dragons were walking down the stairs together and saw their friends talking amongst themselves. The dark red dragoness known as Scarlett was on the right side of the male dragon known as Requiemas. The pale red dragon who was on the dragonesses' left side was looking and studying the situation in front of him and Scarlett as the two of them once again walked down the stairs together. Once they reached the floor and they walked up to the three dragons in front and stopped three feet from them as Scarlett broke the silence in the main entrance way. Causing Light, Onyx, and Theresa to look behind them and stare at Scarlett and Requiemas who were just standing and doing nothing as their wings twitched a bit and their tails to move swiftly behind them.
"What's with all the loud banging sounds and shaking, Light?"
Light smiled just a tiny bit though, "We're being attacked it seems. Nice of you two though joy us. How did that talk between you and Requiemas go any way?"
Before Requiemas could answer Light's question, Scarlett cut in rather quickly and answered for the both of them causing the pale red dragon to frown at the dark red dragoness.
"It went rather… well if you can imagine." Scarlett said friendly enough to her older brother, Light.
Two Hours Earlier
(Location: Living room.)
Within the living room of the castle were two dragons sitting on their hinds with their tails moving behind them and their large wings folded into their scaled sides by the fireplace. Scarlett was on right side of the place with Requiemas sitting on its left side as the two dragons faced each other and locked eyes with one and another. The fire within the fireplace was burning and blackening the wood it was burning to ash. The warmth of the fire could be felt within the entire room as the two dragons felt warmth of the fire and glow of it appear on their harden scales. The living room was your typically and traditional castle living room really. There were book selves with books, scrolls, and texts on them, a global of the world was settled in by the window, a couple of oak wood tables were stationed in the corners with candles burning on them, a chandler was hanging in the room with ten candles on them, and lastly there was your traditional furniture with pillows on them. Altogether for the two dragons, it was rather… bland and tacky in their thoughts and minds.
"So, what is it you wish to talk about with me in private, Scarlett?" asked Requiemas softly.
Scarlett sighed softly to herself and looked towards Requiemas rather shamefully, "I wish to apologise to you about the way I've been treating you like shit for the last three years."
Requiemas smirked upon hearing this coming Scarlett's mouth, "Apologising huh. I didn't know you were cable of saying that word, Scarlett."
Scarlett grinned this time, "Don't push your luck, pale boy."
The two dragons laughed together a little bit before Scarlett's look was seriously once more as she spoke out some more words, "Look Requiemas, I'm sorry for all the things I've said to you and to how I've treated you since then. From the bottom of my heart and soul, I am truly sorry."
Requiemas smiled gently at her and her words, "I forgive you Scarlett, I really do. Thanks for the kind and thoughtful words too, but I'm also to blame as for this little mess between us as well."
Scarlett looked confused for a moment and two was about to cut in, but Requiemas held up his left paw and pointed out his longest claw from it and beat Scarlett to the punch, "Let me finish first. What I said back then to you at the hospital grounds, my words should have come out from the heart not what my brain and thoughts were telling me that day. My grandfather and father have always taught me if you going to say something truthful and honest to someone it should come directly from the heart not from the mind and thoughts. And that day when we talked, I was talking with my mind rather than my heart, and for that Scarlett. I'm truly sorry for what I said to you that day."
Scarlett smiled a bit, "Your forgiven as well, Requiemas."
Requiemas nodded as he placed his left paw back to the ground floor, "Thanks, Scarlett, but I have something more to say though."
"Well, what is it you wish to say?" Scarlett asked questioningly.
A small pinkish blush was found on the pale red dragon's face as his tail moved rather happily behind him causing the dark red dragoness to look at him confusingly, "Well, here it goes then. Scarlett, what if I told you after all the random bump ins and encounters with each other these last three years. What if I told you that I've… I've gained romantic feelings for you?"
Once those words were heard by the dark red dragonesses ears, Scarlett couldn't help but blush rather madly as a small pinkish blush was visible upon on her face as warmth from the fireplace sent warm feelings up her spine and heart, her wings twitched a bit, and her tail was moving rather quickly across the floor behind her, but before she could a single word in though. Requiemas kept on talking though causing her to listen and wait for her turn.
"Judging from that look and blush on your face, Scarlett. I'd say you still have the same romantic feelings for me as well, but I can't say those three words quite yet though." Requiemas said.
Those last words of his confused Scarlett once more and she feared the worst, "Well, why not?"
Requiemas gave Scarlett a seriously look this time, "Because I need to know more about you from you, Scarlett. I want us to go on dates and have fun with one and another, get to know each other on deep and personal level, and spend time with each other. I want to know more about you, Scarlett."
Scarlett smiled as relief rushed to her heart and feelings, "I thought at first you were going to reject me a second time."
Requiemas gave the dark red female his charming and handsome smile of his, "I'm not foolish enough of doing that a second time, Scarlett. That and I don't want your older brother to whip my ass either."
Scarlett laughed this time as she rubbed the tears from her eyes with her right paw, "No, we certainly don't want that. You must know too Requiemas, I have another older brother as well."
This confused Requiemas for a moment or two, "Wait, I thought Light was the oldest?"
Scarlett smiled and shook her head, "He is, Light's the oldest of the five of us, but my other older brother Lightning is the second oldest and he's one you don't want to miss with, but luckily for you though Requiemas he lives all the way up north by himself in the northern mountains of the realms."
Requiemas nodded at the dragoness's words, "Any way, I'm not ready to say the words quite yet. I've had relationships in the past before Scarlett and they never really worked out that well. Which is why I decided back then to cut myself off from all the romance and dating stuff, but that all changed when I met you, Scarlett."
Scarlett smirked, "Glad to know I was the one who brought back these feelings inside of you."
Requiemas grinned back, "And I thank you for that Scarlett. So, what do you say Scarlett? You want to try and see where this messy romance between us may lead and go, because I certainly do?"
Scarlett sighed with happiness as a tiny smile made its unto her muzzle as her blush only increased tenfold now, "You certainly have a way with words and what to say to females like me, Requiemas. I'll give you that one."
Requiemas nodded, "I certainly do, it's my charm of course, but I'm waiting for my answer Scarlett?"
Scarlett shook her head as laughter escaped from her mouth as sudden thought entered her mind and thoughts this time.
"He's just like you were when you were still alive, Ebony."
Requiemas waited and waited for the dark red dragonesses answer and response, and he was beginning to feel doubt and fear creepy into his heart and soul as that all changed when Scarlett got up on all fours and started walking up to him, and once she got in real close to him where he could feel the scales of her chest on his. He looked into the dragonesses eyes and blushed even more. The dragoness then pushed her muzzle and scaled lips onto his pale red ones and kissed him as her eye lids were closed while Requiemas sharp green eyes widen in surprise and shock at the dragonesses very sudden move as he felt his entire body shudder with feelings, his tail moved still behind him while his wings twitching here and there, but he couldn't help but kiss back and close his eyes as he and the dragoness in front of him locked lips and kiss as fire within the fireplace filled the room with warmth and lit the entire room with a fiery glow of the fire.
Back To Current Timeline
"Is that so, glad to hear it." Light said nicely.
"Umm, thanks… I think." Requiemas said confusingly.
Scarlett spoke in this time, "Any way, who's attacking us?"
Light frowned, "Summoned goblin flyers by the looks of it, Ember must have used the Summoning Spell and two other spells with it."
"So, why aren't we going out there and stopping them then?" Requiemas questioned.
Light sighed, "Because that would be rather foolish and idiotic, Requiemas."
Requiemas looked at Light weirdly and spoke to him and the others around him, "And why would that be?"
Light huffed this time and shook his head side to side in annoyance, "Because the more we destroy them in the process, the more that will reappear and take their place. This third spell that Ember placed on them is like the ancient Hydra of old. The heads you slice off, the more that will random reappear. The spell is sort of like that, get the picture now."
Requiemas nodded, "I got it now, but if Ember summoned them here then that means."
Light nodded back in return, "Yes, the summoned goblin flyers that are here now. Are being used to keep us here and to keep us from leaving it seems, while she and her gang are most likely heading for Warfang's city temple where Spyro and Cynder are staying to capture them."
Scarlett was mad as hell upon hearing what her older brother said and gripped the ground hard in her claws, "Then we got to do something about it then!"
Light looked towards his sister and noticed her angry state and look right now and understood what she was going through. He too wanted nothing more then to go out and charge headlong into battle and to save his little brother Spyro and Cynder, but right now they needed to be calm and collective right now, and then plan to get Spyro and Cynder back to them.
"And we will, Scarlett, but getting angry about it right now won't change anything. I promise we will get Spyro and Cynder back, but right now we need to remain calm and free of anger. Alright?" Ask Light.
Scarlett nodded and sighed softly to herself, "Your right, Light, but we should do something at least, right?"
Everybody in the room nodded at this to which made Light smile a bit, "Your right, which is why I'm going to teleport you and Requiemas to Warfang to see if in what I've said tonight is true or not."
"But what about the rest of you though?" Requiemas asked with worry in his voice.
"I'll be sending Onyx and Theresa to Northern Light City to inform our mother, Forever on what's happening to Spyro and Cynder while Onyx go's to get my swords ready for what come's next. As for me I'll be staying here and activating the Charge Spells to blow up the pillars holding up and supporting the castle as it falls into the volcano which will cause the volcano to erupt pre-maturely and destroy whatever in its surrounding area." Light said to everyone around him.
"That's quite a hell of a plan, Light." Onyx said honestly.
Light nodded, "It is, alright Requiemas and Scarlett you two ready to go to Warfang."
Both Scarlett and Requiemas looked each other and smiled as they turned their heads forward and saw Light looking at them and they nodded their heads in yes. Light placed his left armoured paw into the ground and a large teleportation circle appeared underneath the two dragons and started glowing white in color.
"Once you two are in Warfang, go directly to the city's temple and find out if my words hold any grain of truth to them and see if Spyro and Cynder are captured or not. Once you both leave here and arrive in Warfang, you two are on your own." Light said to them seriously.
They both nodded as Scarlett spoke out, "How close will the teleportation spell get us to the city temple?"
Light grinned this time, "It should teleport you and Requiemas directly in front of the city temple, hopefully."
They nodded as the teleportation circle glowed brighter and brighter and was spinning faster then ever, before the two dragons could say goodbye to Light. They sudden disappeared from sight and were no longer to be seen, but the teleportation circle still remained and was spinning rather slowly this time as Light turned to face his sister Theresa and his friend Onyx.
"Alright you two, you guys are next to go." Light said plainly this time.
Both Onyx and Theresa stepped foot into the teleportation circle and turned around to face Light directly and both waved their right paws at him, to which Light returned with one of his own and smiled at them too. The teleportation circle started spinning faster and faster as the white glow started glowing brighter and brighter and before you know it the two dragons disappeared from Light's view and were no longer around to be seen or heard. Light turned around and looked around his castle home for the last time, he knew deep down that his home here would be destroyed and gone forever and could always be built somewhere else, but still pained him to see his once former home now come down in destruction. Light sighed to himself softly and then turned around as he started walking away before he to suddenly disappeared from view as the castle was once again empty and alone. All that could be heard was the loud rumbling, shaking, and booming of destruction going all around the castle.
One Mile Away
All alone and standing on a hilltop from his former home was Light who was looking at his home for the last time as his large white wings fared out a bit and his tail swayed gentle behind him. His right paw was glowing light red right now, so with his purple eyes closed and he pushed his right paw right hard into the ground as the light red glow suddenly turned dark red before the dark red glow disappeared his sight and was gone. He then lifted his right paw from the ground and placed it an inch away from the displaced ground was, he then suddenly heard a very loud booming sound coming from his former home. It may have been dark at night here, but he could still see the lights of his home from his distance away.
He then saw his castle home fall into the shield volcano, as his home disappeared from plain sight, he suddenly felt a large vibration in the ground as the earth was shaking all around him and the surrounding arena. Light then saw the former extinct shield volcano erupt volcanic ash miles high into the air, as large volcanic gas clouds were speeding down the volcano's summit and sides unto the grasslands below it.
Light then turned around from the sight of the erupting shield volcano and started walking down the hill before he suddenly disappeared like a ghost does when being seen for the first time. All there was left behind was a lonely hilltop and an erupting volcano destroying the surrounding arena.
Warfang City Temple
Suddenly two dragon's Scarlett and Requiemas appeared out of nowhere as the teleportation circle below them disappeared and out of sight. Both dragons turned around and saw the city temple in smoke. The city temple was exactly same looking building as the old swamp temple was like, but right now there was fire and smoking coming from the right side of the temple. The sight was rather heart breaking to say the least.
"Judging from the fire and smoke from the side of the temple, it seems this attack happened maybe 30… no make that 35 minutes ago." Requiemas said to Scarlett as he studied the damage done to the city temple.
"Your right about that, mister stranger." A red fire dragoness said sternly from behind the two dragons. They both turned around and both saw a young adult red dragoness with a golden underbelly and red scales, she had yellow eyes, gold horns and claws, red wings with gold membranes, and she was lean, curve, and strong. She basically looked like a female version of Ignitus really, and one dragon you didn't want to piss off or anger.
"Fire?! Is everyone okay and alright? Are Spyro and Cynder really gone?" Scarlett asked quickly to Fire.
Fire nodded her head as her tail swayed behind her, "I'm afraid so Scarlett, that Spyro and Cynder have been captured by Ember and her gang. I was going to report in to Light, but I and the other Guardians had duties to make sure everybody got out of the temple alive and to safety, but I am sorry though."
Scarlett shook her head, "No, it's okay Fire you… you did the right thing by saving everyone and getting them out alive. So, it's okay really."
Fire sadly smiled and nodded at her sister-in-law, "That maybe, Scarlett, but I'm sorry I couldn't save Spyro and Cynder from Ember and her gang."
Scarlett nodded to Fire's words, "It's okay, Fire. You did your best, but does my dad Cyril and the other Guardians know about this too?"
"They do know about it; your father Cyril is not in the greatest of moods right now not that I can blame him for it. After all I think anybody in his position and mind would be just as mad and worried that their son was kidnapped or taken away. Cyril just left here about 10 minutes to go and inform Terrador and Cynthia about Cynder's kidnapping as well. Knowing Terrador like I do, he'll probably won't take this news very well neither." Fire said in a normal tone of voice.
Requiemas decided to cut in as Scarlett and Fire looked to him right now, "I'm guessing the Royal and City Guards have the city on lock down too I bet."
Fire nodded as she looked at him with caution, "Indeed. The city of Warfang is on high alert and lock down right now mostly because of what happened to Spyro and Cynder tonight. Which means nobody gets in or out of the city."
"Unless your Ember or my family." Scarlett added in softly.
"Before I go any further with this conversation between us." Fire said as she continued giving the pale red dragon the stare of the eyes that held caution and distrust in her yellow eyes, she pointed her thumb claw from her right paw and gestured it toward Requiemas, "Just who the hell is this dragon, Scarlett!?"
"Oh! Yeah I forget, you two haven't met yet. Umm Fire, this dragon here is Requiemas. He's… he's a close friend to me, and Requiemas this is Fire. She's the one that I and Light told you about." Scarlett said nervously as she introduced Fire and Requiemas to each other.
Fire gave her sister-in-law an odd look now before locking eyes with Requiemas again as her tail waved side to side behind her, "Close friend huh? I don't buy that load of shit for one bit, but I'll let it slide tonight because of what happened. Nice to meet you, dumbass."
Requiemas chuckled from hearing that from Fire, "Nice to meet you too, Fire."
Fire gave him a weird and odd look as well before turning her head to Scarlett and locking eyes with her now, "I also saw from the distance a volcano erupting where Light's home was. Is he?"
Scarlett shook her head sadly, "He's alright, Fire, but unfortunately his home was destroyed though. I'd imagine he's taken it rather hard though."
Fire nodded as relief flooded into her heart, mind, and body, "I'm just glad and happy to hear that he's alright and alive."
"What about Inferno and Sapphire?" Requiemas asked with worry.
"They went out to go and search for Spyro and Cynder and wherever Ember and her gang took them to, but I'd imagine when they get here to tell us in person. The results aren't going to be what we're hoping for though." Fire said seriously to Requiemas.
As Fire and Scarlett then started talking quietly together, Requiemas was looking at and studying the young Guardian female and was simply amazed by the sight of her. I mean who wouldn't be, when you're looking at the eldest daughter of Ignitus himself and the new Guardian of the Fire element.
"So, my first meeting with Fire went well, although she did call me dumbass. This dragoness is the eldest daughter of Ignitus himself and the mate of Light and judging from the looks of her and her elemental power of Fire. Something tells me, you don't want to tangle with or fight this dragoness to carelessly. Because if you do, it's bye burning you to ashes type of deal."
Requiemas cut in this time, "So, if Spyro and Cynder are captured now. What's the new plan to get them back with us?"
Fire smiled, "That's simple, stranger. Light will come up with something, and when he does. There's going to be a lot of fucking hell to pay."
