Darkest Before Duskmon

The new Warrior stood in front of us after what he did to Arbormon a few minutes ago after Lobomon managed to get Beast Spirit and this guy came out of nowhere and got Arbormon's Fractal Code. The sense I'm feeling is coming from him and it's making me really scared and weak since I can't even move.
I whimpered as I began to lie down, with Zephyrmon kneeling beside me.
"Azurmon, what is it?" She asked me softly, feeling her metal, yet gentle claw on my head as I shiver.
"I'm-I'm okay, Zephyrmon," I tell her softly, not worrying about the guys since we're dealing with the new Warrior right now.
"Who is this guy?" BurningGreymon asked.
"I am Duskmon, Legendary Warrior of Darkness," He said, causing me to whimper a bit more.
"That explained the outfit," The Beast of Flame murmured while I began to get up with Zephyrmon helping me.
"You have done well against my brethren," Duskmon said as he raises his blade. "Let's see how strong you really are, show me your power." He went ahead and sent an attack directly at us, causing all of us to quickly dodge away. Well, almost me since I've been hit on one of my feet.
"Ah!" Caused myself to land on the ground and skidded, feeling the sting going through my back leg. "Ah, he got me."
"All he did was he swing his sword," I heard Korikkakumon when I look back up at the team and Duskmon.
"I got a bad feeling about this," Zephyrmon said. Sensing the darkness flowing through me again as I whimper a bit.
"Come on, there's only one of him," BurningGreymon said, hearing Warrior of Darkness chuckling a bit at how hesitant we were. "If we defeated Grumblemon and Petaldramon, then laughing boy over there, would be a piece of cake. Remember, we're Legendary Warriors!" Everyone went with him while I stayed back.
"Wait, Takuya!" I called out, but he ignored me and went ahead and fought Duskmon by himself, hearing myself whimper some more while the rest of us went to go help the giant idiot half bird and I went along with them.
MetalKabuterimon went ahead and release his Bolo Thunder attack, it didn't do much damage till BurningGreymon manage to grab the Warrior of Darkness, but Duskmon all he did, is to flip over my friend, hearing him crying out and landed on his back.
"Takuya!" All of us gathered while I protected him and my team from Duskmon. Even though I feel scared, I growled at him for what he did to my friend.
"You're weaker than I thought," Duskmon taunted. "I should at least, give you a chance to surrender."
"You can give it, but we won't take it," MetalKabuterimon said while I continue to growl. Trying so hard to ignore the feeling.
"You are proving to be foolish creatures," Duskmon said.
"JP, Tommy, switch into your Human spirits," Lobomon said to the duo.
"Right!" Seeing the duo begin to slide evolve to Beetlemon and Kumamon. And the three boys went after Duskmon with me and Zephyrmon staying behind.
"I just hope Koji has a plan," The Beast of Wind tells me while I whimper again. "Amy, what is it?"
"I-I don't know, something's not right here," Hearing the blades have collided when I look up and saw Lobomon being held off by Duskmon.
"Each of your attacks seems to get weaker, not stronger," I hear Duskmon. "You must know you can't defeat me." Seeing my fellow classmate trying to push his back against the Darkness Warrior's blade.
"A little help here, guys?" The trio went to go help him while I stayed behind, feeling something that caused myself to feel scared and weak.
"Wh-why am I feeling this?" Hearing my friends call out their attacks at Duskmon, seeing them combine and created an explosion, with him in it.
"That ought to quiet him down," I hear Bokomon, not until the smoke began to clear up to reveal Duskmon had disappeared. Felt my ears twitching.
"Oh, no." I gasped. "Guys, get out of there!" Duskmon is above them, he used his attack called Deadly Gaze, and as soon I told them, the attack hit them, hearing my friends crying out in pain. "No, guys!" I went ahead began to slide evolve back to Akitamon and flew in speed to stop Duskmon from hurting them more.
"Lady Akitamon!" I ignored Gaomon's cries while I release my staff and whack Duskmon with it. He didn't even flinch when I hit him on the side of his helmet. He grabs it and pulls me close to him, hearing myself yelp and my face is close to his, feeling the cold chills down my spine.
"If I were you, Lady Akitamon," He said. "I would back down. Haven't you seen what happened to your friends?" I growled.
"I would do anything to protect them from the likes of you, Duskmon." I tell him as I tried to get away from him, getting him to let go of my staff as he did, pushing me off towards my friends. "Whoa," Bumping into Lobomon.
"I got you, Akitamon," Holding close to him while the two of us look over at him, hearing wolf boy growling in my ear.
"Your efforts against me are pitiful," Duskmon said. "Surely you have more power than that." Not until I whimpered again, placing my hands on my chest.
"Akitamon, what's wrong?" I hear Lobomon, and felt him pulling me closer to his chest.
"Hey, we're just getting warmed up," BurningGreymon said.
"What?" Duskmon asked as he turned to see our idiot friend begin to get up.
"Don't take us too lightly, you big eyeball," The half phoenix said. "You want power, I'll show you power."
"N-no, Takuya," I manage to say because this feeling I'm getting is coming from him.
"Wildfire Tsunami!" I look over and saw the flames swirled around the Warrior of Darkness, seeing him that he didn't even flinch nor dodge away. "Now that's what I'm talking about." Causing myself to almost faint, if weren't for Lobomon holding me and carrying me bridal style.
"Takuya, get out of there!" Hearing him scolded our idiot friend when the rest of the team went towards him.
"What? Why?" He look over and saw us. "I just defeated him!"
"All of us combined weren't able to defeat him and you think you did it by yourself?" My fellow wolf growled.
"Well, yeah." He really is an idiot.
"Let-let's just get out of here and regroup," I said, feeling a bit weak.
"Hey, what's wrong-"
"Just come on!" All of us managed to get away with Zephyrmon carrying Tommy and LadyGaogamon managed to get Bokomon and Neemon on her back. Hearing the idiot how he hit Duskmon pretty good, made me groan a little.

"How are you feeling, Haruno?"
"I'm okay, Koji," I tell him since he's carrying me on his back after the incident Takuya pulled with Duskmon.
"Man, the Dark Continent sure is dark," JP said since he was walking right beside us while the rest are right behind us, with LadyGaogamon staying in her Champion form, in case Duskmon comes behind us.
"You know guys, the more I think about it, the more I think I really did beat that guy," Takuya said, causing everyone to groan in annoyance and LadyGaogamon shaking her head a bit. "I can't believe an attack that powerful wouldn't do something serious to him, you know?"
"Obviously, you don't know what's going on in the weak state I'm in, you stupid goggle head," I murmured, hearing Koji chuckling a bit and I lean against my head more towards his, which I've felt his cheeks warm.
No one hasn't said anything after that, which I know made goggle head mad and pouted after I said it.
"Do you guys hear something that sounds like someone talking?" JP asked.
"Not me," Koji said. "But, if I did hear that, I'd say it was getting annoying," It was my turn to giggle a bit.
"Very funny, guys," Takuya pouted some more. "You can play your little game all you want, but I'm telling you, that guy is toast. There's just no way he could just stand there and take that fire attack of mine."
"Koji, you can put me down," I tell him after he stops and did what I told him as we continue walking. "It seems to me that you were at some other fight, Takuya," I tell him. "He took everyone's attacks and didn't flinch, including getting hit by my staff." Remember how he grabbed it and met his gaze so close to mine.
"Ah, so you can hear me now, huh?" He taunted. "Well, then riddle me this, Miss Expert," What the? "How can you be so sure about what happened after Koji made us all run away?" I glare over at him at that.
"There's a reason why he did it, you stupid idiot." I scolded him, feeling the familiar sense again, but it was the way I acted when Takuya first got his Beast Spirit, the way I acted towards JP when he was acting such a jerk, which it was during the time Zoe's spirit was taken away.
"Do you really think he's alive?" Zoe asked.
"There's no doubt about it at all," Koji answered her, pulling me close to him, in case I feel weak again, which I didn't mind. "None of us did any serious damage to him."
"So, how are we supposed to beat him?" That was from Tommy when we all stop looking back at him, seeing him look so sad. LadyGaogamon leans to him and rubs her head against him, and I see a small grin on his face, giving her a hug, which made me grin at the sight.
"We'll find someplace safe to come up with a plan," Koji said.
"Then, we'll never have a plan, there's no place safe in this world," Which made my heart broken. Sensing Kumamon agreeing with him as I shiver a bit.
"You know what, Koji, this is all your fault," Takuya accused my classmate. "If you just hadn't been so eager to turn tail and run."
"Are you freaking kidding me right now, Takuya?" I scolded him. "There's a reason why Koji did it, to regroup and take a break till we figure out a plan."
"Yeah, if we stuck around, we would've had one," He scolded back. "If we would've worked as a team, we would've beaten him."
"And what do you know about working as a team?" That hit him when I saw his eyes widen. "You weren't being much of a team's player when you're busy being a stuck-up idiot you were earlier, you could've been hurt or all of us could've been. Just because I'm an "expert," that doesn't mean that the Digital World is some kind of game because it's not."
I began to remember what Akane told me when she was with the second generation team, Ken was the Digimon Emperor and the team discovered who he really was, he was using these black towers, known as the Control Spires from preventing the Digimon digivolved normally since the team each have a Digi-Egg for their partners to armor digivolve to stop him.
When they did discover and manage to stop him from defeating them with him controlling Agumon as SkullGreymon (AN: Remind if I got it wrong, guys, I don't mind!), they knocked some sense to him that the Digital World isn't a computer game, the Digimon are real beings and Ken, with being the Digimon Emperor and having power gone through his head, abused them, mostly hurting his cute and sweet Digimon, Wormmon, causing the little guy to sacrifice himself the first time.
He did come back and Ken was now, the new member of the team, and the team forgave him for what he had done.
Even though it was a different situation than the one I'm in right now, Takuya doesn't see that. He doesn't have a common sense of what's going on around him, just because we have the spirits of Legendary Warriors, doesn't mean we go on and about busting our asses to save the Digital World from the evil that easy, because it's not. We can't do what Digimon can do, coming back to be reborn and start over. We're just human beings from another world, we could die here and never come back alive.
"Well, I'm famished, who wants to eat?" Bokomon jumped in, causing Takuya to lose balance and almost fall in disbelief.
"Are you kidding me?! We're right in the middle of an argument!" Takuya yelled while I look away and began to walk ahead.
"Amy, where are you going?" Zoe asked.
"Search for food, so I can get away from the idiot," I tell her, not looking back at the team since I'm getting angry myself.
"LadyGaogamon, go with her." I hear Koji and she obeys by lifting me up and I slide down onto her back to find some meat apples somewhere.
Once we did, I told LadyGaogamon to stay with the team while I went to go find some water to drink. Seeing a clean lake nearby when we came back and there is. I manage to find something to carry water back and began to grab some when a reflection appear beside me, it was my classmate.
"You okay?" He asked me. I exhale.
"He was being an idiot," I tell him after I stood up with the bucket in my hands. "I just hate it when he called me Miss Expert," I reminded myself earlier. "I know stuff about the Digital World, because of my cousin. She was one of the Original Digidestined and had more experience than me since I've been wanting to come here when I was very little. From all the stories she told me, it sounded so much fun, but of course, she did say there are dangers and told me that the Digital World is real,"
I look up at my classmate. "That's why I got upset because he doesn't seem to understand that. He even forgot that Akitamon can sense..."
"Sense each Legendary Warriors' powers, because you're the one supposed to be having faith in each of us," Koji concluded. "Hence the way you were acting earlier when Duskmon showed up."
"You caught that, huh?" I asked him, watching him come up to me and wrap his arms around me while I hug him back, with my arms around his waist and my head on his shoulder and his arms around my shoulders, feeling Lobomon's aura around me.
"I'm just scared, Koji." I admit it.
"I know, so am I," He said softly. "We'll find a way to defeat him, I don't know how, but we will. Just have faith in me." I held him close to me and his arms tighten when I've felt his lips on my forehead, which made me blush a bit, but smile as I lean my head more towards his neck.

"So, that's your big plan?" The team called out, except me and Koji, seeing Takuya and Tommy nodded their heads.
"How long did it take you to come up with 'attack all at once?' A second?" Zoe asked, seeing her holding her uneaten apple.
"Yeah, we tried that already, remember?" JP reminded us.
"Now, now, now, I realize it may look like the same plan, but once I lay it out for ya, you'll see plenty of differences," Takuya said, with Tommy agreeing with him. The two look at each other. "All right, Tommy, show 'em the plan."
"One plan coming up," The kiddo said as he pulled out what seems to be wooden figurines that look exactly like Duskmon and us, which I'm impressed by his artistic skills. "Now, say, this is Duskmon."
"Wow, Tommy, did you make that?" Zoe asked him with her and JP and the Digimon joining with the duo while I stayed behind, so did Koji since me and him look at each other.
While the boys tried to explain the plan, it sounded the same thing, only the five of us are going to be in our Beast Spirit forms while the idiot would be Agunimon, which it was the exact same thing earlier when Lobomon asked the two boys to go back into Kumamon and Beetlemon while me and Zoe stayed with our Beast Spirit forms.
They even included LadyGaogamon, which that's when I stood up for them to stop.
"There's no way in hell I'm going to have my Digimon partner involved in your plan, Takuya," Everyone look over at me while I glare at the idiot. With LadyGaogamon appearing beside me. "Your plan is the same what we did earlier, only you being an idiot." He glares at me.
"She's right, just how do you plan on stopping Duskmon?" Zoe asked him.
"I mean, he knocked ya all over the place the last time and that was your Beast Spirit." JP said.
"Yeah, well last time I wasn't on guard," Sensing the warmth from his spirits, telling me that they're scared, which it made me glare at him even more. "This time, I'll know what to do expect."
"He sure is confident," I hear Neemon.
"Yes, and no one can figure out why," Bokomon murmured.
"Like Amy said," Koji started when he got up. "Your plan is similar what we did last time," He frowned at the idiot.
"Aw, what's the matter? Not enough running away for you?" Takuya taunted him as I growled. "What made you think that we're going to have LadyGaogamon with us?"
"I'm still not letting her!" I snapped at Takuya, causing everyone to jump while my girl place her head onto my own.
"My lady, calm down, you're burning up," She said softly. I gently push her away and glare at Takuya.
"The only way we can stop him is to keep everyone safe and rest," I said. "Then, maybe-"
"Wait, you're not reconsidering of us running away, are you?" Takuya scolded.
"Yes, I am." I scolded back. "If you don't like it, then you shouldn't become the leader of the this team nor having the Spirits of Flame to begin with!"
"Amy!" Zoe snapped at me, hearing the boys besides the two rivals to gasp for what I said.
"If you want to have everyone killed, then be my guest, don't come crying to me when your plan doesn't work." I turned away and began to leave.
"Amy, where are you going?" I hear JP, not bother to look back.
"Away from him." So, he'll know who him I'm talking about. "LadyGaogamon, let's go." And she obeys while I led her back to the lake from earlier.
When we did, I went ahead and gave the damn water an angry kick. "What a freaking moron! Didn't I tell him that the Digital World isn't a game?!"
"Amy, don't get yourself sick," LadyGaogamon tells me. "I know you're upset about Takuya's plan-" I look over at her.
"It's not that, LadyGaogamon," I tell her. "I sensed his spirits, his spirits are telling me that they're scared, too. They don't even want to go on with this plan that he created and don't want to risk everyone's lives, either. That's why I have to get away before I make myself feel worst as it is. Especially what I said to him."
I regret it, too. I shouldn't have say that at all. Takuya is doing his best to be the leader of this team. Like I said before, from the first day we've came to this world, even when I didn't have my spirit yet nor before meeting with Gaomon, I sense that the Legendary Warrior of Flame happens to be the leader of his team back then.
Seeing him that he was doing his best to protect his team, his friends from troubles that we're going through to save the Digital World from the evil Warriors and Cherubimon.
And now, since what happened earlier with Duskmon, Takuya abused his Beast Spirit. He's gonna be doing the same thing to Human Spirit, which it made me scared, just thinking about it made my heart broke.
I didn't realize LadyGaogamon brushes her head underneath my chin and rub against it while I held her there, hugging her while I hear myself crying a little.
"What do we do, LadyGaogamon?" I asked her softly. "I don't want him to risk it, but I don't want to go back and see him and the team getting hurt."
"Then, we need to be there for them, my lady," She said when I met her gaze. "We need to, so they'll know that they have faith in us, having faith in you since you're the Legendary Warrior of Trust," She smiles. "The Warrior that everyone would look up to, because of positivity, kindness, ambitious and love you've been showing to everyone, especially to the Digimon we've met along the way."
I smiled at that. "Even when you have more experience about Digital World from your cousin, you're still one amazing and wonderful friend I've ever made."
"You're my wonderful friend, too, LadyGaogamon." The two of us hug each other, hearing ourselves giggling a bit till we heard an explosion, coming where the team are. "It's Duskmon."
"We need to go, my lady." She said while I nodded.
"Go on with the plan, I'll catch up." And I began to spirit evolve. "Execute! Spirit Evolution! Akitamon!" I rather be in my Human form, instead of my Beast Spirit, because I didn't bother to finish listening to the plan before I walked away.
I flew in speed, catching up with LadyGaogamon when we saw Zephyrmon, MetalKabuterimon and Korikkakumon with Duskmon in front of them and LadyGaogamon jumped in and growled at him. Where's Takuya and Koji?
"Never mind, you won't have long to worry about it," I hear the Darkness Warrior when I flew over and protected my friends from him.
"Akitamon." Hearing them felt a little relief while I spin my staff.
"Deal with me, first." I said, hearing him chuckling a bit. I flew after him, seeing him release his blade while I whack my staff at it, hearing the team calling me out, but I ignored them while I distract him.
Wherever the two boys went, I need to buy them time, before Duskmon go after my friends and my girl.
He pushed me off as I flew, then I began to glow my fist.
"Hand of Trust!" Swinging my fist to the side of his helmet like earlier, but again, he managed to catch my hand, too. "Huh?!" And pulled me close to him. "Eep!" Meeting his gaze so close, I've felt chills.
But, it was a good one?
"Why do you look so familiar?" He asked me softly, causing myself to be a little surprise.
"Have we met before?" I hear Akitamon in my mind. He just stares at me, into my eyes while I went ahead have this opportunity, to use my other fist.
"Hand of Trust!"
POW!
I flew back to the team, landed next to LadyGaogamon while Duskmon regain his balance after I punched him on the face.
"Did you seriously punch him directly?" MetalKabuterimon asked me while I look up at him.
"He was being distracted," I tell him. "That gave me the opportunity for wolf boy to say this."
"Execute! Beast Spirit Evolution!" As soon I've punched Duskmon, I've felt Koji and Takuya's spirits nearby. "KendoGarurumon!"
"Execute! Spirit Evolution! Agunimon!" The two boys came in, then Agunimon went ahead started his plan. "This is it, guys, attack!" I'm not being a hypocrite, if that's what you're thinking, I still think the plan is the same thing and he's going to get everyone hurt.
Just because I punched Duskmon on the face, doesn't mean we still have the upper hand. I only did it, for the boys to come in. Hearing the idiot taunting Duskmon, I couldn't help but to jump in and save his ass.
"LadyGaogamon, come on!" I called her out as she obeys, ignoring the calls from the team and Agunimon saw us coming in as I push him out. "Move, you idiot!" Hearing LadyGaogamon tackle the Darkness Warrior while I push my friend out of the way. "I'm not letting you risk it." He glares at me.
"Get out of my way, Akitamon," He pushed me to the side, but I lift my staff and hold him around his chest. "Ah, hey!"
"Agunimon, listen to me!" I'm trying to knock some into him while he's trying to break free. "This plan of yours isn't going to work, trust me!" Hearing my girl yelped in pain after Duskmon knocked her out. "Gao!" Seeing KendoGarurumon came in and helped her up, along with everyone else.
"You should listen to her, you fool," Duskmon taunted, looking over at the two of us. "Haven't you learned anything from our last meeting?" He chuckles and Agunimon all of sudden, roared, feeling his fire powers began to release, with me in it.
"Aaahh!" I screamed in pain as I let him go and flew away from him, with Bokomon and Neemon coming over to me after I landed on my knees.
"Amy!" I heard KendoGarurumon.
"Akitamon, are you okay?" The bunny asked me in concern.
"Talk to us, my dear, are you all right?" I whimpered, looking down at myself and saw my arms are cover in burns, especially my bare waist, where my symbol is.
Hearing the team went to work while I watch with the two Digimon beside me.
"Lupine Laser!"
"Hurricane Gale!"
"Bolo Thunder!"
"Avalanche Axes!" All except my girl, LadyGaogamon as she back away from the plan while the attacks combined and hit directly at Duskmon. Hearing the idiot cheered, not realizing what he did to me when the big wolf jumped over to me, especially my partner.
"My lady." My girl whimpered, rubbing her head against me while KendoGarurumon growled.
"When this is over, Takuya's getting it," He warned. Not until we heard Duskmon crying out, seeing him is unharmed from the attacks.
"He absorbed all the attacks," Bokomon said in shock, with Neemon whimpering while LadyGaogamon protected the four of us.
"It's not possible," Agunimon was scared.
"It's a shame that you didn't realize that you hurt one of your own, Agunimon," Duskmon reminded him, causing the idiot to look over at us, at me when I've met his gaze. It hit him when he saw my burnt arms and waist. "And now, you're next." My eyes widen at the red blade.
"Takuya, watch out!" I called out. Everything's happening so fast, I didn't realize that a certain wolf went over to Agunimon and protected him, from getting hit by Duskmon's blade, hearing everyone crying out for him.
"Koji!" I snapped out of it and gasped at the sight. I quickly flew over there and caught my classmate in my arms.
"Minamoto!" I cried out, ignoring the pains I'm getting in my arms and waist, holding him close to me while Agunimon kneel in front of us.
"Ko-Koji?" I heard Duskmon when I look up at him, seeing him look confuse, yet worried?
"Koji, why did you do it?" Agunimon cried out, looking back down at Koji. "Oh, Koji, why?"
"Koji, please, be okay, please," I lean to his forehead to give him my healing power till I hear Duskmon crying out.
"Koji!" He yelled, causing myself to gasp when he released dark wave surrounding us, everything went black.
