Chapter 7
After brushing her teeth, Haruka wore a yellow tank top with a Nike logo in the middle, and a pair of black sports pants and white sneakers.
" Michiru? You ready to do some exercise?" Haruka asked as she filled water to the water bottle.
" I'm afraid not, Haruka. I need to teach violin for a student at Mugen Academy." Michiru said.
" Since when you started to become a teacher, Michiru?"
" I was applying for a job last week in a job fair, and I saw this as on an advertisement. Where are you going, Haruka?"
" Just going to a sports stadium and run, working out." Haruka replied.
" Oh, I see. Are you fine alone?"
" No, Michiru. Seven san would join me together."
Michiru is a bit jealous to see how these days to see how Haruka has already treated the taller ultra as her boyfriend. Although she remembered the fact Ultraman saved her before, and she stayed with him also; But she still loves Haruka in the first place. She is starting to wonder whether Haruka is ignoring her and spend less time with herself.
" Haruka, Are you still treating me as your girlfriend?"
" Michiru?"
" Haruka, I see you are always clinging to your boyfriend throughout these days."
" Michiru! Please! Seven san promised me to stay with me for 3 more days! Just wait!" Haruka thumped the wall with her water bottle, leaving some droplets flying out from the lid.
" You really need to stop clinging him. I know you missed him, but don't forget that I'm still your girlfriend."
" I know, Michiru! But you know these days I cried for him, It's hard for me to handle."
" Then that doesn't mean you have to cling him tight."
" I miss him so much, Michiru!"
Seven finished helping Haruka to fold the bedsheets on her bed and walked down from the stairs.
"What's the matter?" Seven asked.
"Oh, Seven. I really need to ask you something. What did you do to Haruka?"
"I didn't do anything, Michiru. Really. She clings to me too tight."
"Michiru, I know the past few weeks I hide from you that I love a man, but does that mean I have no feelings to you before?"
"Haruka, This is just a reminder of you never ever remember this man here."
"Michiru, I just stay with Haruka for only a few days, I promise I will not find your girlfriend afterwards." Seven said.
"Seven, you sure you will not find Haruka later?"
" Me and my brother would just stay for a few more days, Michiru. We won't bother you two for too long."
" This is confirmed, Seven. Although you explained everything to me, Haruka is still mine. You must remember. I know much more about her, A world without Haruka is not worth saving."
" Alright, Alright. Michiru. If you say this, then I can just forget about her in the future."
Seven raised his both hands for surrendering. He knows he and his brother saved Haruka and Michiru before, and even when those two are touched to see how a man saving their lives, before dying on their arms. He knows he shouldn't find Haruka; But Haruka herself made him realized how living with a human feels like, and she made him noticed what is emotions, especially the part when he and Haruka had to separate, he eventually remembered the moment when he and his parents have to separate because of a war. He cried, it was his first tear that he ever shed since he was a baby.
The moment when he hugged Haruka and how Haruka bawled, calling his name while sobbing as if she felt like everything was tearing apart from her life. Seven's tears spilled out, it was a ton of green sparkles, like a dam that was blocked for almost a century, and it finally broke out because of a storm. He and Haruka shed tears for almost half an hour until they finally calmed down.
" Seven san, shall we go out now?"
" Sure, Haruka."
Seven looked at Haruka, he know his time is running out. He knows he cannot lose his job again. He must fulfil her wishes.
" Seven, Hope you can understand Haruka is my lover, She is my destined girlfriend, we vowed to protect the princess and her gang." Michiru thought as she stared at the back of Haruka and the red ultra.
A few minutes later, Haruka and Seven arrived at the stadium, there were a lot of runners, some were panting heavily with their heads full of sweat, some were drinking energy drinks and water to prepare for their next lap.
" Seven san, Are you ready for racing?"
"Racing?"
" I was racing with other students from another class, and I won the champion. And One of my friends, Elza introduced Michiru."
" Elza?"
" She is my friend. But then she is busying in her studies, so we didn't chat later on."
" I see."
"Are you ready to race, whoever runs the fastest wins?"
" You really want to race, Haruka. I hope I didn't make you upset."
"What are you talking about Seven san? Why would I be upset?"
" Ok, if you want to race, then let's go."
Haruka and Seven both doing a crouch start, preparing to race.
" Are you ready, Seven san?"
" Haruka, Ready."
"Ready? One, Two-"
Without finishing her sentence, Seven sprinted fast, leaving Haruka running alone, she is only running half of the track. Seven is already at the finish line waving to the blonde as to tell her he had finished racing.
" No! What?" Haruka was dumbfounded to see how fast Seven is, she felt beaten to see herself being in the last place even though there were no runners.
" This is the reason why I don't like to run with people." Seven said. He turned his head and saw Haruka is on the middle of the track, lowering her head.
" This isn't fair, why?" Haruka is thumping the floor angrily, gritting her teeth.
" Haruka chan, Sorry, I didn't mean to upset you, but when I race with my brothers, I'm always the one who is the first place." Seven said he land a hand on her shoulder.
" You're no fun." Haruka slammed his hand hard, turned away her gaze to the taller ultra.
" Please don't be angry, Haruka."
" If you tease me one more time, I would go and call Michiru to kill you and your brother." Haruka pointed him furiously on how he make her lose the race for the first time.
" You're really a try-hard, Haruka." Seven said as he sighed.
" I was just angry on how a man can overpass me, I'm the champion of all time!"
" I'm sorry that i forgot to tell you that my endurance and speed is higher than any human being."
" Really?"
"Yes, I ran so fast just to train myself agility in order to dodge all the enemies attacks."
"Let us take a rest."
They sat on the bench, Haruka then took her towel and wiped her sweaty head. Seven is rubbing her back to comfort her.
" You know I'm an Ultra, right? I'm from the Land Of Light, The Plasma Spark enhanced our abilities of speed."
" I know, It's just I feel upset when I'm in the second place." Haruka said and took a sip of water.
" I assume you don't want to lose every time when you are competing with other people, even when you transform to Sailor Uranus along with Michiru to fight the Youma?"
" Seven san, I admit. I just wanted to show myself I'm a strong person. I cannot accept defeat through my life."
" Sometimes you need to accept defeat, this could help you reflect what are your mistakes in battles."
" Perhaps you got a point, Seven san." Haruka said as she nodded.
"Feel better now, Haruka chan?"
"Please forgive me for being angry to you."
"It's ok, Haruka. I don't blame anything about you." Seven looked at her.
Haruka smiled to the man, and wrapped her hands on his neck.
"Let us jog then, We'll jog from the start." She whispered.
"Jog?"
"Keep the pace is enough, darling." Haruka said and kissed him softly on his neck.
Seven's face slightly turned red after this sudden kiss.
"Haruka, Michiru would be angry to you if you do this.
"Just let me stay with you for 3 days, Seven san. Falling in love with a man is really a different experience."
"But still, Michiru is your lover. She was jealous of you loving me."
"I promise, we will maintain a certain distance after 3 days, but keep it this way for a while." She said and gave him a wink.
"Of course, Haruka chan. I will promise to fulfil your wishes."
The couple then jogged happily, smiling to each other.
