"Come on! Closer, come on, I won't bite!" A man standing on a make shift stage, by the beach with a big sign saying 'Big Catch', called into a microphone. "Welcome to the Summer Cove 'Big Catch' competition!"
"I wonder where Tea is." Hayley wondered out loud as she looked around, before spotting Chip up ahead towards the parking lot. "There's Chip." She and the team walk over to Chip.
Chip Thorne is wearing a sea captain's outfit as he pulled and tugged a large red and white ice cooler.
"Hey, Chip." Brody greeted as the team waked up to the red head. "Need any help?"
"Hey guys." Chip smiled. "I'm good as long as there's no hills around, don't want the ice chest to run away from me again." The Rangers looked at him confused. "Yeah, Nick and the others still don't believe me." He added with a sigh.
"Is Tea with you?" Levi asked, making Chip look up.
"No." He shook his head. "She's petrified of the ocean."
"She's afraid of water?" Sarah asks with surprise.
"Not always, it happened during a simple mission while the Operation Overdrive Rangers were still active." Chip explained.
"Chip!" Avril scolded as she walked up to him, making him jump, she's wearing a black tank top with shorts and her long hair is pulled into a high ponytail. "I told you a hundred times, you're gonna fry in the sun if you don't put this on." She held a bottle of suntan in her hand.
"Yes, my pet." Chip takes the bottle.
"Hi Rangers." Avril greeted. "I hope I wasn't that scary while being evil."
Brody shook his head. "No. But do you know why you wanted the Ninja Stars?" He asks.
"It's still fuzzy." She answered with a sigh.
"You kids go on." Chip told them. "We're just having a beach day."
"And time off far enough away from 'Plan Xander'." Avril added, starting to move. "Bring the cooler, Chip."
Chip quickly picks up the cooler and adjusts it. "Coming love!" He calls, rushing after her like a dog after a bone, the Rangers had to laugh at the former Ranger.
A man walked up to them with a small remote in his hands. "You kids ready?" He asks, making the Rangers turn to him.
"Hey dad." Hayley greeted and they start walking towards the water. "Thanks for letting us help you in the fishing competition. Sounds like it's gonna be a blast." She smiles.
"No problem honey." Her father smiled back at her as he looked excited. "Wait till you see what I've got to help us." He led them down the beach, and Preston gasped.
"Cool! What is it?" He asked as he and Calvin crouched down beside the large purple and silver device.
"This is my dive drone. Programmed to find anything unusual, like a fish." Hayley's father answered as he explained.
"Whoa, what's that?" Brody asked, pointing to the gold part that's sticking out of the front.
"It's my custom net cannon. So I can fish without hurting them." Hayley's father continued to explain. "This competition is the perfect time to test it!" He smiles. "Can you boys give me a hand?"
Calvin and Preston pick up the device and move towards the water, placing it in before moving back to the shore. Hayley's father activates the device and it moves till it submerges.
"Whoa." Levi said as it disappeared under the surface.
"These dots on the radar are small ones. We just gotta wait for some big ones, and then catch it!" He explained as the teens are gathered around him. The remote beeped. "Oh! I think I we got something! It's gotta be Bruiser!" Hayley's father exclaimed with excitement as he picked up something that's a much bigger reading. "Time to deploy the net cannon!" He pressed a button to have his drone shoot out a net, but a minute later, the screen flickered before blacking out. "No! What happened?" He asked, clutching his remote as he gasped.
"There!" Calvin spots the drone once it surfaces, he and Preston hurry into the water, retrieving it.
"Oh no." Hayley's father gasped as the boys brought the drone to shore and they all gather around the drone.
I'm sorry, dad. That doesn't look good." Hayley put a sympathetic hand on her father's arm.
"My Diver Drone." He said, looking dejected.
"Hey guys, What's going on?" The newest Ranger, greeted as she walked up to the group, causing them to look up at her.
"Hey, what are you doing here?" Brody asked.
"I maybe a longer." She replied. "But I know when to have fun." She crouched down next to them. "What happened?" She asked, poking at the net that's tangled up on the drone.
"The net is ruined, and these circuits are fried." Hayley's father complained. "It looks like it found something made of … metal?" He tried to figure it out.
"Oh dad, I'm sorry." Hayley sighed, seeing how upset he is.
"Looks like we'll have to wait for next year to go after Bruiser." He stood up, shaking his head.
"What! No way, I can help you fix it." The newest Ranger said, gaining everyone's attention again. "Can everyone please stop looking at me like that?" She asked.
"I'm not as creative as my dad when it's invention time." The newest arrival folds her arms. "But I am also pretty damn good."

The Rangers looked up when the door of their base opened and Tea came in. "Hi guys." She greeted as she walked over to the table. "What's going on?"
"Hayley's father's drone got caught in this metal thing." Calvin answered.
"We're trying to piece it together." Brody added.
"And I think we got it." Sarah replied as she and Preston pushed two different pieces together. Soon they all recognized it.
"That's the Galaxy Warrior's logo." Tea said.
"Odius must have some sorta machine planted under the water." Calvin realized.
"We better get back to the beach and figure out what's going on." Brody said. "Come on, no time to waste!" He led them, minus Tea out.
Tea shuttered.
"Tea?" Mick frowned at her.
"I - I can't." Her voice trembled.

Soon, the Rangers are now hiding behind some large rocks as they're back on the beach.
"Hey guys, look." Brody pointed to the bad guys they're watching. "They're fixing that machine."
"What does it do?" Sarah wondered.
"Come on! Let's finish this!" Doomwave shouted at the foot soldiers that are working on the machine. There's a flash of light to reveal Badonna and another evil looking warrior.
"Doomwave!" Badonna shouted with irritation. "It's taking you far longer then you said it would." She growled.
Tea suddenly hurried over to them. "Brody!" She whispered as she crouched down next to him suddenly, making her friends jump startled. "We have a problem."
"What problem?" He asked.
"That." Tea pointed at the villain next to the others. "That is Miratrix. She's suppose to be dead."
"Suppose to be?" Preston questioned, not liking that part.
"Yeah." The lavender Ranger nods. "Details later."
"When's your Tsunami Machine going to be fixed?" Badonna demanded waving her fan at the newest monster of the day.
"Don't worry!" Doomwave dismissed the anger that's being directed at him. "I'll have all of Summer Cove washed away by dinnertime."
"Hurry it up! Remember, Odius does not like waiting!" Badonna reminded him with a growl, and Doomwave bowed and the two vanished without another word.
"They're gonna create a tidal wave?" Brody asked in horror, Tea grabbed his shirt tightly as she shook.
"Oh no, I can't be near that water." She whimpered.
"You won't have to Tea." The red Ranger tried to sooth her. "Just say on the shore and you'll be ok."
"Your dad's drone must've damaged that machine." Calvin realized, glancing at Hayley, who nodded as she realized the same thing.
"Well, then let's finish the job." Preston said, they all looked at Brody, who nodded, the Rangers slipped out from their cover.
"My plan was foolproof! How much bad luck can one monster have in one day?" Doomwave whined as he walked back over to his machine.
"You'd be surprised!" Hayley said as the team came up to stand in a line as Doomwave whirled around.
"Rangers!" He roars. "I've got just the thing for you, a paddling!" He threatens.
"It's Morphin Time!" Brody calls, holding up his Star. "Power Stars!"
"LOCK IN, NINJA SPIN!"
"Alright suckers, time to feel the might of my tentacles!" Doomwave snarled as he ran at the Rangers with his Basherbots.
"Bring it, Octo-freak!" Brody shouts. "Tea, check out the machine!" He tells the Lavender Ranger, who nods and makes a beeline for the damaged machine while the rest take on the monsters and foot soldiers.
"Let's see here." Tea's eyes scanned the machine, as she circled it.
"Hey, get away from my machine!"
Tea turned and quickly blocked a punch from Doomwave.
"Not a chance, seaweed brain!" She high kicks him in the chest, sending him stumbling backwards. "Now, how does this thing work?" She went back to concentrate on it. "I need Rose for help." She complains.
Suddenly she's blasted in the side, and she's thrown back and into the water with a big splash.
"You humans are a pain!" Doomwaved complained. "Catch you next time Rangers!" He runs over to his machine and hauls it into his arms. "Once my repairs are complete, you can say goodbye to Summer Cove!" He leaps into the sea, disappearing below the waves with a loud splash.
The Rangers rush to the edge of the water. "Oh no, Tea's still down there!" Sarah exclaimed as they power down.
"Come on, guys!" Brody said as he, Levi, Preston and Calvin race into the water, they got waist deep in when a loud splash is heard as a demorphed Tea surfaces splashing about as she struggled to stay above water.
The four boys grab her and pull her towards the shoreline as she coughs. "What we need is something that can go underwater." Preston said as the remaining Rangers, demorphed and the boys lowered Tea down, she rolled to her left side as sh continued to cough.
"Your dad's Diver Drove!" Levi looked at Hayley as he's knelt down by Tea with his hand on her back.
"It's not finished!" She denied.
"I'll call Rose." Tea breathed, still lying on her let side. "She'll be delighted to help."

While the team was working on the Diver Drone, Tea laid in her bed as Mack placed a damp cloth on his sister's forehead.
"You ok?" He asked, sitting back in the chair he's been sitting in.
"Considering that I just found out that Miratrix is still alive and that I nearly drowned." She replied dryly. "I'm just dandy."
"Glad to know that your sarcasm is back."
"Love you too, big brother. Now if you don't mind, I'm going to sleep the rest of my life away." She turns to her right side and closes her eyes.
Mack shook his head with a sigh, he stood up and took the damp washcloth with him as he left her bedroom.
