I thought I hated portals before, and then one just dropped me straight to my death.

Don't worry about it, anyway, yes the portal really did drop me straight to my death. It was at the top of a tower, in midair, and I had to jump to reach it, and then it dropped me straight to the ground, where I died horribly.
Sounds like you missed the portal and just fell all the way to the ground by your own uncoordinated self. -Lambert

That's what I thought the first time, too. But I definitely jumped right through the center of the portal after that. I definitely didn't miss. I felt the horrible effects of going through a portal, and then I was just teleported to the other side of the portal and fell straight to the ground and died.
This dumbass really went back and did it again a second time. -Lambert

A/N: I haven't actually played the game anytime recently, I was just looking through my notes and found this one. There was a glitched portal which could only be fixed by downloading an update patch. (I had been avoiding connecting my Switch to the internet before that.)
