Hello everyone, I hope you all haven't been waiting for too long. I'm simply glad to draw closer to my goal of reaching Rio's appearance. It is still a bit away, but it totally will be worth it when we get there. Anyway on to chapter 3, and unlike cannon season 2 episode 2, this chapter will involve the events of that episode and half of episode 3. Now, onto reviews answered.
HansenHan: I thank you for your condolences. And don't worry, I'll make certain that in this chapter, Shido will make it clear to Tohka he won't neglect her, Yoshino or Kotori just because he's with Rinne now. And about Shido marrying all the Spirits, I'm gonna have to work and think of a way of that happening. Kurumi will approach Rinne at the same time she approaches Shido. Finally, Westcott simply finds Rinne interesting and does not know she is a Spirit just yet.
NatsumiKyouno: I'm flattered by your words, really. I just hope I can live up to your expectations. By the way, Marina and Maria will be apart of the story because I'm doing the game events as well. Maria is a certainty to be in the movie and other season events, but Marina might be a problem because I don't know a way for her to survive.

Anyway, let the chapter begin.
Chapter 3: Children of the Storm.
At the AST's Military Base's hallway; Origami stood in front of Issac Westcott with Ryouko, Mikie and Mildred gathered around her, while Ellen Mathers stood behind her boss with sunglasses on, yet eyes were visible. Origami's trial had ended a few minutes ago, and now the director of Deus Ex Machina Industries and his female bodyguard were just about to leave, but not without Issac bidding farewell to Origami.
Issac rested his left hand in his pants' pocket, while placing the right hand on Origami's right shoulder. "I believe in you, young Wizard. You have what it takes to defeat the Spirits. Don't hesitate to let me know if you need anything". The director of Deus Ex Machine Industries told the teenage girl, taking his hand off her shoulder and began walking down the hall, the eyes of Origami and Ryouko traced on him. "Deus Ex Machine will give you full support". Issac added as Ellen followed her boss, while Mikie came up next to Origami with a suspicious face directed at Issac.
"Who..." The pigtails girl began with Mildred taking over for her. "...was that just now?" The blond-haired female finished, wondering just who Issac was. "Mr. Westcott of DEM Industries". Ryouko revealed, grabbing the attention of Origami, Mikie and Mildred as they all looked over to her. "He even enlisted help from the Minister of Defense to let Origami off easy. I have no idea why, though". The adult female told the three, then directed her gaze at Mildred.
"Wait, Milly, aren't you from DEM? How come you don't recognize your boss?" The female captain questioned the teenage girl, which Mildred grinned a little as she held up her right hand's index finger. "I sort of remember him now". The blond-haired girl, before comically winking with her left eye, stuck out her tongue and held up both hands. "Well, I couldn't care less about who runs the company as long as I get paid". She stated, resulting in Ryouka staring at her with half lidded eyes.
"You could be fired for what you just said, you know". The black-haired girl told the younger female. Origami turned her head and stared at the walking away forms of Isacc and Ellen. Unknown to her was that Westcott chuckled as he grew a grin because he could feel Origami's gaze on him.

The song began with a green stream displayed in a white world, before a green sparkle rained down from it with the camera following the sparkle. It rained past a metallic tree, until disappearing upon reaching a seed-shape device that the three came out from, which was revealed to be attached to a ship.
The screen changed to show Kotori, Tohka, Rinne and Yoshino, all in Spirit forms, gently floating down. They all landed on the ground with the Efreet Spirit standing behind the Princess Spirit on her right, while Yoshino was behind Ruler on the left. All four of them turned towards the screen as it zoomed in close to their faces, showing their eyes with Ruler's veil clearing to reveal her gleaming red eyes.
The screen then changed to show 3 new, different Spirits gently floating down to the ground. Two of them were standing behind the third one, facing the sides. The two at the sides looked incredibly similar like twins as they both have orange hair, with a long strand on each side of their head ending in a tornado-like twirl. The one on the left had braided up hairstyle, and she has a lean figure. Her Astral Dress is mainly the color purple and had chains on her right hand and foot. The lower half of her body had a half skirt around her waist which dropped to the knees and opened around her thighs.
The look-alike on the right's hair was braided in three portions, and she has a curvy figure. Her Astral Dress was similar to her look-alike's one, yet was bluish-purple with a small cape and has chains on her left hand and foot.
Finally, the middle Spirit has a voluptuous figure and smooth skin that has never missed maintenance. She has long bluish-purple hair in a hime cut, while her eyes sparkle like silver. Her Astral Dress is mainly yellow with blue and white ruffles covering some parts of her dress. She wears a yellow moon hair clip with a lily connected to the curve ends of the moon. White lilies and petals can be seen next to the moon hair clip. She also wore crescent moon earrings and a choker on her neck with a white lily attached to it. Her legs are covered by white tights, and she had on yellow high-heel shoes with lilies on the ankles.
They all landed on the ground, before the screen zoomed in on the middle one's hair with none of their faces visible.
The screen changed once more, this time showing Mana and Origami together in their Realizer suits and armour. Mana had her arms crossed, while Origami was standing up straight. The pony tail haired girl looked towards the camera as it zoomed in to show her glare, and the white-haired female's lower face.
It changed once more; showing Kurumi and a horde of her clones all in different stances or positions. The original stood in the middle of them all, wielding both of her guns as she brought them up crossed over her chest with the left arm over the right. The camera zoomed in on Kurumi's face to show her smiling deviously with the bangs of her hair covering the eyes from view.
The screen changed again to show the members of Ratatoskr together with Reine and Kannazuki in the front. Reine had her arms crossed, Kannazuki's left hand placed on the hip and Kozue having her hands folded, while the rest were standing up straight. The screen zoomed in on Reine and Kannazuki, showing their frowning faces directed at the camera.
The screen changed to show a black world where Issac Westcott stood with Ellen Mathers behind him, both looking at the camera. The screen zoomed in on their faces, yet their eyes were covered by their bangs with Issac having a sinister smile displayed.
The screen changed back to the white world, this time showing Shido in his summer school uniform standing, looking straight at the camera with narrowed eyes. The camera zoomed out to show him standing straight, before zooming out once more to show his friends and siblings standing with him in a line with them still in their Spirit forms and Realizer equipment equipped.
The line consisted of Mana at the start, Origami second, Kotori third, Rinne standing beside Shido on his right, Tohka at Shido's left, Yoshino and Yoshinon as the seventh members, Kurumi right next to the Hermit Spirit with her right hand placed against the hip and finally, Reine at the end with both arms still crossed.
"Fate: Does everything happen for a reason?"
It changed to show a part of Tengu City's streets, Tohka, in school summer uniform, jumped into the air throwing her right hand up with a wide smile. The screen froze and changed into a deep purple colour with the words "Tohka Yatogami" displayed. The world turned back into normal as Tohka fall and landed on the ground with an excited expression. She then took off running down the street.
"Like the encounter that brought us together (together)".
Tohka ran past the kneeling down form of Yoshino, who was smiling down at Yoshinon as the two were starting at one another. However, Tohka's running caught the attention of Yoshino and Yoshino as they looked over, before the screen froze and changed into a bright green colour with the words "Yoshino" displayed. The camera then zoomed in on Yoshinon with her name displayed as well. The world returned to normal as Yoshino stood up on her feet.
"Binding my story to yours".
"If I never understand this beating in my chest (up to you)".
The Hermit Spirit began following Tohka as a nearby van drove by. Nearby, Kotori watched the two Spirits with a grin as she leaned her back against a tree, enjoying a lollypop that she was holding. She gave a smirk as the world froze and turned a yellow colour with the words "Kotori Itsuka" displayed. The world returned to normal as she pushed herself off of the tree and pulled her treat out, before walking off somewhere.
A bus drove by on the road, clearing to reveal Origami walking down the street, passing by a table that Ai Yamabuki, Mai Hazakura & Mii Fujibakama were all sitting down around.
"The only way I can go is down".
The camera zoomed in on Origami and turned into a light blue world with the words "Origami Tobiichi" displayed. The world returned to normal as Origami walked out of view as Ai, Mai and Mii looked over, while Tamae walked happily into view down the street in the same direction that Origami went.
"So make your choice".
The camera changed into a red world, showing Kurumi in her Astral Dress looking up towards the sky with a grin as the words "Kurumi Tokisaki" were displayed. The world returned to normal as the camera zoomed out to show the Nightmare Spirit standing atop a building's rooftop. She was looking up towards the sky as a shadow of a familiar airship was visible, traveling forwards.
"Let's begin this thrilling date!"
The camera changed once more to the street level, this time showing Shido and Rinne besides one another facing forward with the same rooftop that Kurumi was standing on nearby with Nightmare still there. A sound caught the attention of the two "childhood friends", before Shido looked over his left shoulder and Rinne over her right shoulder. The world turned into a bright pink one as the camera focus on Rinne with the words "Rinne Sonogami" displayed. It then changed colours to an electric blue world as the camera focused on Shido with his full name on display as well.
Something flew into the air in the distance, leaving white colours trails. The camera zoomed in on them, revealing them to be three AST members with their features covered. The camera zoomed right into one member's left wing, covering the screen in black.
"Every time we talk, every time we touch, every time we laugh, I'm reminded".
The screen changed to show Shido and Tohka walking side-by side down the street in their summer school uniform. Shido was carrying both his and Tohka's school bags, watching Tohka as she held up a wrapped up kinako bread. The Princess Spirit opened her mouth wide and took a big bite out of the bread, looking in absolute bliss as she enjoyed her snack. It suddenly changed to show a Tohka's left eye up close with the camera slowly zooming out.
The screen changed to show the living room of the Itsuka household. Two bits of toast shot out of the toaster and into the air, before landing neatly on two plates that Rinne was holding up with both hands. The Ruler Spirit brought her hands down, while Tohka, Yoshino and Yoshinon all stared at Rinne in amazement at her professionalism. Even Kotori, who was brushing her teeth in the room, turned to look at Rinne as well. The screen changed once more, this time showing Ruler's face with her veil on. The camera zoomed out slowly to show Ruler flying forwards in her Astral Dress.
The screen changed to show the Class 2-4 classroom, where the students were getting the room ready for a party of some sorts. Shido, Rinne, Reine, Tamae, Ai, Mii and Origami were all looking up at Tohka, who was standing ontop of a chair placed on tables gather together, decorating above the blackboard with a purple paper garland with Mai keeping a steady hold on the chair she was standing on. Hiroto Tonomachi was standing on a chair as well, helping Tohka decorate the classroom too. Shido had his left hand placed against the hip, while Rinne had both hands folded behind herself as they watched the Princess Spirit help out.
The screen changed, this time showing the white world with Tohka in full Spirit armour, running at a fast pace with Sandalphon in her right hand. And flying besides the Princess Spirit on her right was Ruler, keeping up with Tohka as they advanced forward together. It changed once more, this time to Takadai Park with Shido and Rinne standing right in front of the railing, looking down towards Tengu City. The wind picked up a little, causing their hair and clothes to slightly blow in the breeze.
"Of this love that I won't ever give up".
Kotori in Spirit form, flew down out of nowhere to beside Ruler on her right with Camael in hand, flaming sprouting from the hands and legs out of nowhere. Yoshino, also in Spirit armour, came down from above mounted on Zadkiel, running fast to keep up with Tohka on her left.
The screen changed once more, this time showing Shido, Rinne and Tohka all seated in a train in their school uniforms. Shido was seated in the middle, Tohka on his left and Rinne on Shido's right with their bags laying against them. The human boy looked at Tohka first, then at Rinne as the two Spirits closed their eyes. The camera split into two with both sides showing Rinne and Tohka leaning their heads against Shido's shoulders with peaceful faces.
"Because I've never wished to stay by someone's side as much as this".
The screen changed back to the white world, showing the four Spirits still advancing together, before flashing to outer space with clouds covering the Earth's surface. It changed back to the white world as the twin orang-haired Spirits flew down and passed them, glancing down towards the other Spirits as Yoshino and Kotori split up from Tohka and Rinne. The four disappeared from view, yet Tohka and Ruler continued on beside one another.
The bluish-purple haired Spirit came in from above the side, riding upwards on a road that looked like a piano keyboard up, while Mana flew in out of nowhere in a black and blue CR-Unit, vaguely resembling a wolf's fangs and claws. Mana ignited the CR-Unit's thruster wings, kicking her speed up a notch as she drew in closer towards Tohka and Ruler, while Kurumi came down out of nowhere, appearing as if she was coming down to block the two Spirit's way with the keyboard road still above her.
Behind Mana, another piano keyboard road appeared as the unknown Spirit slid down it with a smile, while Mana changed course and flew into the air, where black unknown creatures filled the white world's skies. The screen changed to show a humanoid robot with a red eye in a black world with a light shining down on it.
The camera changed again, this time showing an invisible ship bursting through the clouds into the night sky with a full moon shining in the darkness. It returned back to the white world, showing Origami armed in her Realizer suits, blade in hand. Ellen, in her own CR-Unit gear, flew in and clashed blades against Origami, creating a bright flash, before pushing the younger woman out of view with her hair briefly going over the camera.
The screen cleared to show the ground level of the white world with the camera moving forward at lightspeed towards a new Spirit. It was a little girl around Yoshino's height, she had long plum hair that reaches to her legs. The girl's hair was tied with one single braid and has a bow at the top of her head. She was wearing a lavish pinkish-red dress with a gold emblem on the center. The dress also contained a large robe that reaches her feet. Finally, she had a pair of black panty hose with strappy low red heeled shoes with an ankle strap with pink detailing and small wing shaped straps on the side.
The girl's hair and robe blew in the breeze as the camera went past her right shoulder and showed someone in the distance. The screen changed to show the blade of Sandalphon letting out a small shine, before changing to reveal Shido was the one holding the Angel in his right hand. The camera zoomed in on Shido's face as he narrowed his eyes as they changed from brown to a golden colour, gaining pupils that a Spirit would have.
The camera went past the boy towards the sky of the white world, where Tohka and Ruler flew down from above with the camera showing their relived expressions with Ruler's veil gone. The camera spun around to show the two Spirits closing in on Shido with Tohka's right hand out, and Ruler's left hand out as well. Shido opened his mouth in surprise as he reached out with both hands and successfully managed to catch the girls' hands.
"I want to believe, Date A Live".
The camera zoomed around the three of them, showing the happy faces of Shido, Ruler and Tohka as the two Spirits gently landed on the ground in front of the boy, still keeping their hands together. The title "Date A Live Happiness of Eden" then appeared right in front the camera as Shido, Ruler and Tohka all disappeared from view. The title then disappeared as the screen turned pure white.

Soaring through the sky above white clouds was a blue and white airplane, flying smoothly and peaceful. But this plane wasn't any random one, it was the one that was taking the second-year students to their school trip destination.
While the plane ride was peaceful outside, the same couldn't be said for a specific someone inside. Seated on one of the many seats, Shido had a tired-out expression, breathing out a little tiredly because he was in a difficult situation. To explain his plight, we need to rewind a little bit to a few days ago just before the school trip began.
(Flashback)
In Rizen High School's Class 2 – 4's classroom; Shido, Rinne, Origami and the rest of the class were gathered around Tohka. Almost everyone was looking at the Princess Spirit oddly with the only exceptions being Origami and Rinne. The AST girl still had an expressionless face as always, while Rinne was smiling nervously with both eyes closed. "It's pretty simple, Miss Okamine!" Tohka said to her teacher, yet for some reason she sounded a little masculine.
The reason why everyone was staring at her was because Tohka was trying to be a boy. She was wearing the blue sweatpants with her ribbon in the left pocket, hair in a lower pointy tail, yet still had the white button shirt. This was another crazy plan of hers to stay close to Shido for this whole school trip, something that Rinne had tried to stop, but failed at because Tohka was pretty determined to make it work.
"Yes! I am totally a boy now! So, I can stay in the same room as Shido when we go on the school trip!" The Princess Spirit declared; hands placed on her hips almost proudly. Shido gave an exhausted sigh at this, while Rinne turned to give her boyfriend an apologetic smile. "Shido, I'm sorry. I tried to stop her from doing this, yet Tohka was pretty determined to go through with her plan". The Ruler Spirit apologized, which Shido gave her an understanding smile. "Don't worry about it. Tohka can be unstoppable when she sets her mind to something". The Itsuka boy told his girlfriend, not upset with Rinne at all.
"I don't think so. You can keep wearing those clothes, but it doesn't change the fact that boys and girls have to stay in separate rooms-" Tamae told the purple haired girl, until Origami suddenly cut in on the conversation. "Excuse me?" The AST girl said, catching Tamae's attention as she looked at Origami. "I think you should approve of Tohka's unusual request. Or at least consider it". Origami told the teacher, walking over and stopped in front of the Princess Spirit.
Everyone was taken aback by surprise, Shido turning to look at the AST girl in bewilderment while Rinne had a small suspicious look on her face as she stared at Origami. "Huh?" Everyone, except Rinne and Tohka, said in confusion as they looked at Origami. "Hold on, what are you after?" Tohka questioned her rival, eyes slightly narrowed as Origami stepped up in front of the Princess Spirit.
"I really admire that you have the courage to come out in front of everyone. I think you deserve to stay in the boys' room, no question". Origami told the Princess Spirit, causing Tohka to ease her gaze a little. Tohka hummed as she blinked at her rival, before looking away to the side. "Look, I'm not saying thanks". She told the AST girl, something that didn't bother Origami in the least. "None needed". Origami stated, not noticing Rinne staring at her with calculating eyes.
'If I've learned anything about Origami in Eden, she takes any and all opportunity to get close to Shido. So, what's she up to now?' The Ruler Spirit questioned inside her mind, wondering what scheme Origami has this time. "Stop wasting time, the issue is not negotiable". Tamae scolded the two teenage girls as Origami turned to look at her. "But...it is still pretty uncommon for a girl to want to be a boy. To keep things balance, we'll make Shido into a girl". Origami declared as she took hold of her chin with the right hand.
Rinne immediately sweat dropped at the revelation of what Origami's end goal was. 'That's what she was aiming for? I can't believe I didn't see that coming'. The Ruler Spirit thought, while Shido comically glared at Origami. "That literally makes no sense". The blue-haired boy pointed out, catching Origami's attention as she gazed at him through the corner of her right eye.
The AST girl then wrapped her arms around Shido's left arm, who winced at the strong hold she had on him. "Then we can bath together, tastefully". Origami added with a bit of emotion, causing Rinne's sweat drop to grow a little. "How's that tasteful?" Shido questioned the white-haired girl, staring right at her face and eyes with a small weirded out expression. "Wait a sec!" Tohka exclaimed, running up to the two and tried to push them apart, yet Origami didn't let go while Shido cried out a bit in surprise.
"If he becomes a girl, he won't be able to stay in the boy's room with me!" The Princess Spirit complained, staring right up at Shido's face with her arms up. "You're a man now, so you need to stay strong". Origami told Tohka, causing her to gasp a bit before glaring at the AST girl. "Then this must have been part of your plan all along!" She shouted at Origami, who just snuggled Shido's arm more.
Shido closed his eyes in irritation, but just as he was about to speak up, Rinne got involved. "Tohka, Origami, I think that's more than enough". The Ruler Spirit stated as she walked over to Shido's left and grabbed hold of Origami's arms that were wrapped around Shido's left one. With surprising strength, Rinne forced Origami's arms away from Shido's and left go, resulting in the AST girl and Tohka staring at her with wide eyes.
"I can understand that you two want to be close to Shido, but this is just too much. All this arguing is doing is stressing out Shido. Everyone needs some time alone to themselves, and that includes him so that they can rest. We'll have plenty of time together in the school trip, so at least let Shido have some peaceful time to himself". The Ruler Spirit explained to the two, wanting her boyfriend to have time to himself and not get stressed out since this was meant to be a trip to enjoy themselves.
Origami narrowed her eyes a bit at Rinne in annoyance, while Tohka stared at her fellow Spirit with pleading eyes. "But Rinne..." She began, only to stop as Rinne looked at her with a small sad face. "Remember what happened last time Shido got too stressed out?" The Ruler Spirit questioned Tohka, resulting in her and Shido flinching upon remembering. Shido and Rinne were the only ones that remembered what happened, while Tohka has only been told about it, yet knew that the stress because of her and the other Spirits caused the incident that almost killed Shido.
Tohka tilted her head down to look at the ground with a guilty face. "...You're right, let's just forget about it". The Princess Spirit said with a dejected voice as she didn't want to cause trouble for Shido. Feeling a bad sad for her fellow Spirit, Rinne then gave a bright smile at Tohka. "You can still sit right next to Shido on the plan ride through". Rinne told Tohka, causing the Princess Spirit to look up at her with an overjoyed face, while the Itsuka boy stared at his girlfriend in surprise.
They had originally planned to sit right besides each other on the trip, so it was a bit of a surprise to see Rinne giving up the chance to cheer up Tohka. "Really Rinne?" Tohka asked with an excited voice, which the Ruler Spirit nodded to her. Just as the Princess Spirit was about to cry out in joy, Origami rein in on her parade. "If anybody is gonna sit next to Shido, it will be me". The AST girl said with a certain voice, causing Tohka to turn and glare at her, a glare that Origami returned.
Shido gave a sigh of comical exhaustion at seeing the two at it again, while Rinne smiled nervously with both eyes closed. "Okay you two, that's enough". Tamae told the two younger girls, coming in between them and getting the two to look at her. "There's no need to argue about this. You two can both sit next to Shido. You can spend time together there". The female teacher explained to Tohka and Origami, holding up her right hands index finger and giving them a nervous face.
Shido grew a sour face at this, Rinne sighed a little, Origami slightly narrowed her eyes and Tohka breathed out with wide eyes. The two rivals went back to glaring at one another, leaning a bit forward to each other and grunted a bit. The two then leaned back, yet kept glaring while Shido sighed as he placed his right hand on his forehead. Rinne gave her boyfriend a small smile of pity since she knew this'll make the trip for Shido not to pleasant and enjoyable.
(Meanwhile in Ratatoskr)
Inside of the Fraxinus airship, Rinne had just reported to Kotori about Rizen High School's change in plans for the school trip. "The location for the school trip?" The youngest Itsuka sibling questioned, seated on her commander's seat and had both arms as she stared at the sleep deprived woman on her left. Kannazuki was standing at Kotori's right and he was staring at Rinne in curiosity as well.
"Yeah, Shido told me about it. They were going to Okinawa, but now it's Arubi Island. We're talking a last-minute change here". Ratatoskr's commander remarked, remembering what her brother said about his school trip's destination originally being at Okinawa, yet got changed. "It seems a certain travel agency said they'd cover all expenses in order to get publicity shots". Rinne explained to the young Spirit, before looking up. "With all financial burdens lifted, the school quickly agreed. However..." She added as Kotori narrowed her eyes a bit since she found this suspicious.
"Sounds suspicious". The commander of Ratatoskr stated, while Reine turned to her left, yet keep looking at Kotori through the corners of her eyes. "Perhaps I'm reading too much into it, but the agency Cross Travel, it's a subsidiary of DEM Industries". The sleep deprived woman told her commander, increasing Kotori's suspicions.
(Flashback end)
Just as Rinne predicted, the flight for Shido has not been pleasant and enjoyable because Tohka and Origami were at it yet again. "This was your game from the beginning, wasn't it!" Tohka snapped at Origami, standing up from her seat on Shido's right and glaring at the AST girl that was sitting down on the window seat beside Shido on his left. All the other students were sitting down peacefully on their seats as they enjoyed the plane ride.
Rinne was seated on the middle row of seats right next to the one her boyfriend was seated at, sitting on the right seat with Tonomachi right beside her. The Ruler Spirit was watching Tohka complaining with a small, disappointed face since she was ruining a rather peaceful flight all because of where she was sitting. "You tricked me into the seat furthest from the window! I won't be fooled again!" The Princess Spirit exclaimed, paying no attention to the other students staring at her.
Origami turned to look at her rival for Shido's affections with a blank face. "You never specified which seat you wanted". The AST girl told Tohka, causing her to childishly growl at her with both hands down. Unknown to anyone of them was that Ellen Mathers, wearing a brown suit, an orange armband with the words "staff", silver necklace around the neck and blue earrings, was watching them from the next row of seats. She also had a black Bridge Camera in her hands for some reason.
She was seated on her seat, looking over at Tohka with narrowed eyes. The seat next to her, Tamae's seat was empty because she was standing up in front of a female nervous smiling flight attendant, bowing her head as she apologized for how loud Tohka was being. Reine was sitting down on the seat on the next row, drinking a cup of tea and enjoying a cookie, but was watching her fellow teacher apologize.
"Look Shido, you can see the horizon". Origami said to the Itsuka boy, pointing out of the window with her left hand. "Shido, this side is amazing too. Everybody knows that the aisle is where the action is!" Tohka said to Shido so that his attention would be on her and not on Origami, yet he didn't even look at either girl. The AST girl turned to look at the boy she desired with her normal expression.
"It's pretty cool. The clouds look just like a carpet". Origami told the boy, yet that didn't change the still sour face he had. "Well if you like carpet, I got one you want! Right here!" Tohka exclaimed as she pointed down at the carpet on the aisle. She then waving her arms up and down anime style with both eyes comically closed. "Look at it, Shido!" She screamed out a little bit in a crazy manner, Shido let out a sigh full of exhaustion, placing his right hand on his head.
"If I pretend to nap, maybe they'll stop". The Itsuka boy said to himself, wanting nothing more than to relax and take a nap. Rinne, seeing her boyfriend starting to get a bit stressed, decided to get involved. "Tohka, you're acting like a child. Sit down please". The Ruler Spirit told her friend, grabbing Tohka's attention as she turned to look at Rinne. "But Rinne!" She complained, only to stop when Rinne gave a stern look at her.
"You're stressing Shido out and being too loud for anyone to relax. Unless you quiet down, you're gonna leave me no choice but to swap seats with you. Understand?" Rinne told her fellow Spirit. Tohka grumbled as she lowered her head, but still nodded to Rinne. "...Okay..." The Princess Spirit replied with a sad voice, something that made Rinne soften her expression. She gave Tohka a soft smile, before looking over to Origami.
"Origami, can you please let Tohka sit on the window seat on the way back?" Rinne requested from the AST girl, catching Origami's attention as she looked over to Shido's girlfriend and gave a nod. "Sure, I don't mind". Origami replied to the Ruler Spirit, having no problem with that since it's gonna be a few days before they head back. Rinne gave the AST girl a thankful smile, before turning her gaze to Tohka and saw she didn't look so sad anymore and had a small smile at her fellow Spirit.
Shido was smiling at his girlfriend as well, grateful that she peacefully sorted everything out. Just as he opened his mouth to speak, a flash and sound of a camera caught his attention. Shido, Rinne, Tohka and Origami looked over to see Ellen standing before them with her camera up, having taken a photo of them. "Pardon the candite camera". The adult female said as she lowered her camera, revealing her face to the teenagers. Rinne's eyes widened in surprise at seeing Ellen's face, recognizing her easily despite Ellen wearing sunglasses in their last encounter.
"But I had to capture such a nice-looking picture. The way you three were all smiling was very lovely". The hidden Wizard explained, while Shido, Tohka and Origami stared at her in confusion. "Uhhh...uh-huh". The Itsuka boy said with an unsure voice as Ellen turned around and went back to her seat. Tohka leaned her face close to Shido with eyes a little bit narrowed. "Shido, who was that?" The Princess Spirit asked the blue-haired boy, grabbing his attention before Shido turned to look at her.
"The teacher introduced her to us earlier. She's the pro photographer the travel agency sent along with us". Shido answered, both he and Tohka turning to look over at Ellen to see her hiding behind a wall up ahead. Rinne looked down at her lap, where both her hands rested. 'I don't think that's what she is. I don't feel safe with the knowledge that woman will be with us for the school trip'. The Ruler Spirit thought, taking hold of her right hand with the left one. Ellen may look harmless to her, but something inside Rinne was telling her that this woman was dangerous.
With the female Wizard, she gave a grin as she looked down at her camera's screen as it showed the picture she just took. 'A Spirit... Princess...' Ellen said inside her mind, staring down directly at Tohka's image, the main objective of her reason for being here. She then turned her gaze over to Rinne's image and grew a small frown. 'That girl is here too. It was bit surprising, but she shouldn't be a problem'. She added, crossing off the Ruler Spirit as a problem to her mission.
"Your camera is making me jelly!" A joyful voice exclaimed, catching Ellen off guard as she looked up to see Ai standing in front of her. Just as Ellen moved to back away, Mai popped in out of nowhere and blocked Ellen's escape. "It's top of the line. Must have coast thousands". The brunette said with an amazed smile, before Mii came in behind Ellen. "That's so lame". She stated, catching Ellen's attention as she looked at the high school girl in surprise.
The trio of girls began asking Ellen lots of questions about her camera, never giving her a chance to answer any one of them. Just then, the plane's alarms started ringing with the flight attendant making an announcement through the speakers. 'Ladies and gentlemen, please put your seats and tray tables in upright and lock position and prepare for landing'. The female flight attendant told the passengers as Tohka retook her seat.
She looked out the window and gasped in awe, catching Shido's attention as he looked at her. "Wow..." The Princess Spirit said in awe, getting Shido curious, then looked out the window and saw their destination; Arubi Island. Meanwhile with Rinne, she looked up with an excited face to finally see what it was like outside of Tengu City.
(Later on)
The plan landed safely at Arubi Island's airport. The students had already left and were now outside, admiring the island's beauty. Shido, Rinne and Tohka were further away from their class down a street near a staircase, where Tohka was admiring the view of the ocean. "Wow...no way... Is that the ocean?" The Princess Spirit asked with an amazed smile, leaning down a little as she stared.
Shido blinked in realization that this was Tohka's first time seeing the ocean. "Yeah, I guess this is your first time to see it". The blue-haired male remarked as Tohka stood up straight and turned to face him. "Uh-huh. The water park we went to with Yoshino and Kotori was amazing. But this place is even better!" The Princess Spirit exclaimed, cheeks a bit red and both hands lifted up to express her excitement.
"More than you know". Shido stated with a nod of the head. Tohka turned to look back at the ocean, while Shido turned to look at his girlfriend. The Ruler Spirit had an amazed face as she looked around her surroundings, utterly speechless at how different things were to Tengu City. "How about you Rinne? How does it feel to be here, out of Tengu City?" The Itsuka boy asked with a curious voice, eager to hear from her about this new experience.
Rinne turned to Shido and gave him a soft smile. "Shido... Words honestly can't describe how I'm feeling right now. This place is beautiful, unlike anything I've ever seen before". The Ruler Spirit told her boyfriend, turning to look out across the ocean and out to the distance. "For as long as I can remember, I've been in Tengu City for all my existence. Now though, seeing this beautiful place with my own eyes, makes me realize that the world truly is a big place and that there's so much to see". Rinne added, bringing both hands behind herself and gently took hold of the right wrist with the left hand.
Shido stared at Rinne's face as a gentle wind blew past her, hair blowing a little in the breeze, before he gave a content smile at seeing his girlfriend see the wonders of the world, something that never would have been possible if they stayed in Eden. Suddenly Rinne and Tohka turned around, allowing Shido to see the alert expressions they had. "Something wrong?" The Itsuka boy asked the two, a bit worried at how they changed from happy to alert in just a couple of seconds.
"Odd... I feel like someone's watching us". Tohka told the teenage boy, looking through the right corner of her eyes. Shido blinked at her, just as Rinne suddenly pointed past him with her right hand's index finger. Ratatoskr's main operative turned around and saw that Rinne was pointing towards Ellen, who was behind the plane station's entrance building. She walked out of hiding and held up her camera to take a photo, only for Ai, Mai and Mii to came out from behind and gather around Ellen, who turned to look at them. All the while, Tamae was giving out instructions to the students on what their plans will be.
"It was probably just the camera". Shido remarked, while Rinne lowered her hand. "Shido, Tohka, you guys should be careful around that woman. I don't know why, but something is telling me she's dangerous". The Ruler Spirit told her boyfriend and friend, getting Shido to look at her in surprise while Tohka narrowed her eyes, before turning back to look at the ocean.
(Meanwhile)
Unknown to Shido, the two Spirits and other residents of Arubi Island; high in the sky above the island was a cloaked ship, as if it were hiding in the clouds. "Incoming from Adeptus 1, they've reached Arubi Island. Target confirmed, Akaru Airport, North District, camera number 6". A nameless soldier informed the commander from inside the main bridge. This ship's main bridge was different compared to Fraxinus' one.
The lower lever where the subordinates worked, had two large, connected setups on the left and right. As for the commander's section, it was a large platform, where there was a chair for the captain. The subordinates were seated on the setups, while the commander sat on his chair with a black suited man standing beside him on his right. Finally, there was a large monitor in the room that everyone was facing.
"It's Princess sir, we found her". One of the subordinates reported to the commander, the monitor showing Shido, Rinne and Tohka as they were discussing what the Ruler Spirit said, before zooming in on Tohka's face. The commander, an adult man with brown hair and a beard wearing a black suit and white gloves, gently took hold of his chin. "That was anti-climatic. The girl doesn't look like a Spirit". He remarked, finding nothing out of the ordinary from seeing Tohka's image.
(Back down on Arubi Island)
"You must not let your guard down. Intelligence indicates she is a Spirit. That alone is reason enough to be level 1 alert". Ellen told the commander through an earpiece in her left ear. The students had started to leave the airport with their teacher leading the way, her standing in the middle of them. 'Roger that. Set alert to level 1. By the way, aren't we supposed to have a Wizard on the ground?' The commander questioned Ellen, before she turned around and looked over towards Origami.
While the other students happily continued on down the street, Origami had stopped and was looking around her surroundings in search of Shido. "Alright Class 4, gather around!" Tamae called out to her students, catching Origami's attention as she hurried down to join her pears. Ellen faced forward again and placed her hand on the earpiece. "I've only met her once before. I also had sunglasses on at the time, so she should not pose a problem. I'll report back to you later on, but for now the kids are on the move". The DEM Wizard told the commander, Origami passing by her as she spoke.
All the students gathered in front of Tamae and Reine as the teacher held up and waved a flag to get her students' attention. "Right, come on! Eyes forward, Class 4! Since this is a school trip, we'll start the learning now! We're heading to the Arubi Island Museum! How exciting!" The brown-haired teacher told her students with an exited voice, much to the disappointment of Ai, Mai and Mii.
"Seriously?" Ai questioned with both hands pressed against the hips. "It sounds like, stupid boring". Mai remarked, finding their plans boring as she's preferred something else than that. "That's so lame". Mii stated with her usual catchphrase. Tonomachi, who was standing next to Mii, grew a grin as he placed his left hand on the hip. "Hey, get it out of the way now, have fun later". The class idiot said, catching Mii's attention as she looked over to him.
Tonomachi then brought out his phone, which was already showing his digital "girlfriend", and winked at her. "Am I right, sexy beast?" He asked his digital girlfriend, getting Mii to give a comical disgusted look at him, groaning a little as well.
"Okay gang, everyone follow the flag!" Tamae exclaimed, leading her class of students down the left street at the crossroads. Shido widened his eyes in alarm at seeing the class going on ahead, while Tohka and Rinne were looking up at the sky. "It's time!" The Itsuka boy exclaimed, then turned to look at the two Spirits. "Come on, let's book it!" Shido told Tohka and Rinne, which the Princess Spirit turned to look at him with a serious face.
"But I know someone's been spying on us!" Tohka told the Itsuka boy, before taking off in the opposite direction that the class took off in, causing Shido and Rinne to widen their eyes in surprise. "Hold on, Tohka!" The blue-haired boy called out after the Princess Spirit, yet Tohka didn't stop. "Aww, man!" Shido complained as both he and his girlfriend ran after the Princess Spirit. The class continued on, having no idea that three students had broken from the group.
The only thing that did notice was Ellen, yet it was something that she found as an asset. "Adeptus 1 to Arbatel; Princess has broken off from the group. Track her movements for me". The DEM Wizard told the commander of the airship called Arbatel. "Also, activate Ashcroff Beta and set to standby. Then cut off the island from outside communication. Be ready to strike at any time". She added, right as Ai to pop up out of nowhere next to Ellen.
"Hey, you're gonna get left behind". The blond-haired girl told the older female, who slightly widen her eyes in surprise, then reacted fully as she gave a small cry and turned to look at the teenage girl. "Shouldn't you be taking pictures of us?" Ai questioned with a confused frown, while Mai popped in out of nowhere on Ellen's other side. "So what? Did you just come for some photos of the scenery?" She questioned Ellen, who began to look uncomfortable as she looked at Mai. Then, Mii appeared behind the DEM Wizard. "That is so lame". The high school girl stated, much to Ellen's further uncomfortableness as she turned to look at Mii.
During all of this, Ellen had been ignoring the commander's words from the earpiece because the three girls had her complete attention. "No, that's not it at all-!" She exclaimed, right before Ai and Mai grabbed hold of her arms. "Here we go already". Mai said as she and Ai began dragging the female Wizard after the rest of their class, all the while Ellen struggled to break free of their hold. "You're working Ellen". Ai told the older female as she and Mai dragged Ellen off with Mii following after them with all three females ignoring Ellen's cries of protests.
(Aboard the Arbatel)
The commander of the Arbatel had an amused smile on his face at seeing Ellen get dragged like that by three harmless schoolgirls. "Being a field agent can be rough". He said with amusement leaking out of his voice, staring at the monitor as it displayed footage of Ellen getting dragged away and Tohka finally cease running with Shido and Rinne catching up to her. "But these precautions seem a bit extreme. Spirit or not, she's just a teenage girl. Once we introduce her to the Bandersnatch unit, capturing her will be child's play". The adult man added, believing it'll be very easy to capture Tohka.
"Captain, we've got a problem!" One of the subordinates informed the captain, immediately wiping the grin off his face and replace it with a frown. Another footage came up on the monitor, showing dark clouds starting to gather and swirl above the island, a sign of a storm coming. "The hell?" The adult man questioned in confusion at this unexpected development.
(With Shido, Tohka and Rinne)
Shido, Tohka and Rinne were already caught up in the approaching storm. The wind was starting to blow strongly, the trees and even grass of the ground blowing from the powerful winds. "Ah, ahhh. Weird, this weather came out of nowhere!" Shido grunted out, walking in the lead as he, Rinne and Tohka tried to find their way back to the others. "Look..." He began, turning around to look at the two Spirits. "If we don't get out of this storm, it could get really bad". The Itsuka boy told the two, their hair blowing wildly from the strong winds.
"Sorry I ran off. But I know someone was watching us, I could feel it!" The Princess Spirit told the Itsuka boy since she was certain that they were being spied on. Rinne, who was using her left forearm to shield her face, turned to look at Tohka. "Tohka, I felt someone watching us as well, but running away was not a smart choice. If we pretended to not notice, we could have prepared in advance for them". The Ruler Spirit told her fellow Spirit, before bringing both hands down to keep her skirt down.
Shido gritted his teeth as he turned to look forward. "...Okay, say I believe you guys; who exactly would be spying on us?" The Itsuka boy questioned the two, catching Rinne's attention as she looked towards him. "I don't know, but that isn't important right now. Right now, we need to figure out which way leads to the museum". The Ruler Spirit replied to her boyfriend, but before anyone could answer her, the winds' strength intensified.
They all cried out, their hair blowing more widely from the powerful breeze. Shido turned around and went up to the two Spirits. He took hold of Tohka's left hand with the right, and Rinne's right hand with his left one. Shido began to run down the slope, pulling the Spirits with him, and they all knelt down for cover. "What's going on?! This came ahead way too quickly!" The Itsuka boy exclaimed, looking directly up towards the sky as it began to darken thanks to the storm clouds.
Rinne and Tohka raised their heads, but the Princess Spirit noticed something coming right at Shido. "Shido!" Tohka exclaimed in concern, quickly getting up on her feet and came in front of the Itsuka boy. "Get down!" She told the teenage boy as she pushed him off his feet with him crashing down on the ground. Rinne spared her boyfriend a glance, before looking towards Tohka to question the Princess Spirit for her actions' reasons, only to stop short upon seeing what her fellow Spirit saw coming at them.
The thing heading towards them was a trash can, having been lifted off the ground by the powerful winds. It flew through the air, before it came in and hit the back of Tohka's head, causing her eyes to turn into anime swirls. Tohka groaned a bit, but that was when another trashcan came and rammed into her face this time. The Princess Spirit groaned more, while Rinne helped Shido up from the ground with him placing his right hand on his head.
As if something was out to get her, a third trashcan came in and rammed into Tohka's face, something that Rinne winced at. Tohka groaned loudly as she wobbled on her feet, Yoshinon angels appearing and flying around her head, until she fell on her back unconscious. "Tohka!" Shido exclaimed in concern, he and Rinne getting up fully on their feet before they ran over and knelt down beside her. Shido on Tohka's right, and Rinne on the left.
"Are you okay?" The Ruler Spirit asked in concern, gently taking Tohka into her hands and brought her fellow Spirit into a sitting-up position. After a moment of staring at Tohka's face, Rinne turned to look at her boyfriend's face with an uneasy smile. "She's unharmed, just unconscious". Rinne told Shido, causing him to smile in relief, before groaning a bit upon realizing that unless they carry her, Tohka won't be going anywhere. "Uhhh, just my luck. Rinne, help me get Tohka on my back". The Itsuka boy told his girlfriend, turning around in mid-speech.
The Ruler Spirit nodded to her boyfriend, before focusing her attention on Tohka and brought the unconscious girl on her feet. She then gently placed Tohka on Shido's back with her hands over the Itsuka boy's neck, while he wrapped his hands around her legs. With their friend safely secured, the young couple got back up on their feet, but then Shido saw an unknown figure flew by on his left. He stared up at the sky, something that Rinne tilted her head at, before she looked up as well, only to gasp in surprise.
Two bright bluish white lights were in the heart of the storm, flying towards and clashing against one another. They broke off and flew away, only to come back and clashed again. Shido and Rinne watched the lights clash again and again with stunned faces. "A Spirit? Or the AST? But the Spatial Quake alarm never sounded". Shido said with a frown, catching the Ruler Spirit's attention as she looked at him. "There's no possible way that humans could control the weather like this. That means that this is a Spirit's work". Rinne told her boyfriend since she knew that humans couldn't control a force of nature like this.
The lights clashed against one another, broke off and clashed immediately again, releasing a stronger gust of wind that came down on Shido and Rinne. The couple cried out as the wind blasted them off of their feet and came crashing down on the ground on their fronts. Suddenly, two figures came down from the lights and landed on the ground on the road that Shido, Rinne and Tohka were walking down earlier.
Shido got up on his left knee, while Rinne crawled over to Tohka and looked down at her in concern. Shido grunted with both eyes shut, then opened them as he and Rinne looked towards the two unknowns standing across one another on the road. They were both girls that looked almost exactly identical, twins perhaps. They both had orange hair and blue-eyes. They even looked to be the same height. However, that was all they shared because their styles of hair and clothes were different.
The one on the right had an Astral Dress that is mainly the color purple and had chains on her right hand and foot. The lower half of her body has a half skirt around her waist which dropped to the knees and opens around her thighs. The one on the left's Astral Dress is bluish-purple with a small cape and has chains on her left hand and foot. The Spirit on the right seemed to be posing, while the one of the left was standing straight with her right hand slightly raised and near the hip.
"Spirits...? Two of them?" Shido questioned with a stunned voice to encounter two new Spirits instead of one. Rinne was silent, staring at the two new females with wide eyes full of wonder. In all of the Ruler Spirit's existence, the only other Spirits she's known of are Tohka, Yoshino, Kotori and Kurumi. So, to see a new Spirit, two especially, felt like an end of an era and the start of a new one to her.
Unknown to Shido and Rinne, the powerful wind was blowing around them instead of through, as if there was a protective dome protecting them all.

While Shido, Rinne and Tohka were busy with their school trip, Yoshino and Yoshinon were being provided entertainment for as long as the Itsuka boy was out. The Hermit Spirit and her best friend were in a cross living/kitchen room, Yoshino sitting down on a couch as they watched a new soap opera, one that involved two sisters fighting over a boy they both like.
Yoshino was wearing a white pinafore with deep pouch pockets on the skirt and a frilly pink hemline with a soft pink bouse with puff sleeves underneath. Her long blue hair was in two thick low pigtails, secured with soft blue bands on each side. Yoshinon was wearing an outfit exactly like the Hermit Spirit. Yoshino looked on edge, holding up her right hand while Yoshinon had a bewildered face.
The TV currently showed the twin sisters and the man they're interested in inside a house's living room. The young man had a creamy yellow coloured turtleneck shirt and blue jeans. His hair was a bit like Shido's, only was more of a black colour and had healthy coloured skin. The two sisters both had brown hair in identical styles. One of them wore a blue skirt suit over a white blouse, while the other was wearing a short sleeve white blouse and a maroon coloured skirt.
'I can't believe you!' The twin with the white blouse snapped at the young man, who was holding up his hands in peace in hopes to calm both sisters down, yet was failing terribly. 'Please chose me, darling'. The other twin told the male, catching his attention as he looked over to her. 'It doesn't matter'. He told the twins, yet that seemed to only anger them. 'YES IT DOES!" Both sisters snapped at their love interest.
(With Ratatoskr)
Fraxinus, in cloak form, was peacefully flying through the air with no trouble or disturbances. Inside the airship, Kotori stood in front of her gathered crew as she was about to head off somewhere. "Well, I'll be going then. This isn't exactly the best timing for a meeting at HQ, but it's a rare chance for the Rounds to meet up in person, so I'm expected to make an appearance. Not to mention, now's a perfect chance to tell everyone about the events of Eden". Ratatoskr's commander told her crew, glad to finally inform her superiors about everything that happened with Rinne and Eden.
"Go, you may leave it to me Commander". Kannazuki told the young commander, more than willing to look after Ratatoskr in her absence. "Don't worry. You can trust us to hold down the fort". Hinako commented, right hand over the left one that were folded over her lap. "Just promise you'll hurry back when you're done". Munechika requested, his left hand placed on the hip.
Kannazuki grew a rather creepy smile as he closed both eyes and brought up his left thumb right in front of his mouth. "But low, the unbridled passion of youth set free doing a school trip..." The Vice-commander began, before throwing both hands into the air with a healthy blush and eyes closed in bliss. "And I Kyouhei Kannazuki will chronical this page of Shido's salad days with every juicy detail during your absence". He finished, getting Kotori's eyebrow to twitch at what he said.
"Just don't take too long. Please". Kyouji pleaded to his commander since he and the rest of the crew didn't feel safe with Kannazuki in charge. The Itsuka girl gave an amused smirk at her crew's pleading. "Sure, I'll try". She stated, before turning around and walked out of the main bridge with the door opening and closing for her. "Okay..." Kannazuki began with a comical excited face, bringing up his right fist. "As acting Commander of the mighty Fraxinus, plot a course for 15 thousand feet above the island!" He commanded, jumping into the air and pointed his right hand's index finger out with a comical joyful face.
The whole crew stared at their acting commander, groaning a bit because they didn't feel so secure with him in charge.
(Back with Shido and Rinne)
Somehow the strong winds and storm clouds had calmed a little bit, even revealing a bit of the blue sky, yet still hung above the island. Shido and Rinne paid no attention to the storm above, their eyes locked on the two new Spirits that appeared and were currently facing each other. The Spirit on the right, wearing the purple Astral Dress chuckled and smirked as she held her right hand in a pose in front of her head. "Not too bad, Yuzuru. Although I expected as much from my other half. Too bad it will all be in vain". The unknown Spirit said with utter confidence as she threw her right hand to the side.
"Rebuttal: Much has been learned from our 99 battles. The advantage is clearly mine". The Spirit named Yuzuru said back at the purple coloured Astral Dress wearing Spirit, who chuckled at what she said. "Keep on dreaming. We both know the only Spirit even suitable to be Yamai's successor is me". She shot back at her opponent, bringing up both hands.
"Negative: I am the one who will persevere. The name Yamai is not fit for one lowly as you". Yuzuru said back with a rather emotionless face. "Your words are hallow. My future Devil Sight has already shown me the inevitable end. It gave me a vision of you, Yuzuru impaled and dying at the end of my Sturm Lanze!" The purple wearing Spirit exclaimed, placing her left hand against the hip and pointed at Yuzuru with her right hand's index finger.
"Refute: your Devil Sight has never been acuate in the slightest". The blue Astral Dress Spirit shot back at her opponent, causing the nameless Spirit to flinch and let out a low gasp. "Shut up, it has so worked before! And don't you dare make fun of me!" She snapped at her opponent, bringing up both fists as she spoke. Shido and Rinne kept silent as they watched, before the Itsuka boy's attention was caught by a familiar voice from the intercom. 'Shin, can you hear me?' The voice, that was Reine's, asked the teenage boy.
Shido brought his left hand up to his ear in order to respond. "Reine?" He questioned, catching Rinne's attention as she looked at her boyfriend. 'Good, I finally got through. Where are you, Rinne and Tohka currently?' The sleep deprived woman asked Shido, he and Rinne looking back up at the two new Spirits. "Ummm, not sure. In the middle of the road, I guess". The Itsuka boy answered with an uncertain voice, his main focus on the two Spirits.
He spared a glance towards Rinne over the shoulder, and saw her watching Yuzuru and the unnamed girl with wide eyes. He raised an eyebrow at Rinne's expression, before widening both eyes in realization. 'That's right; this is Rinne's first time seeing a new Spirit. The only other ones she's known about were Tohka, Yoshino, Kotori and Kurumi. So, to see new ones must honestly be something she never expected to happen'. The Itsuka boy said inside his mind in understanding at why his girlfriend was staring like that. He then went back to watching the two twins.
"Request: Kaguya please provide information regarding the combat capabilities of your Sturm Lanze". Yuzuru requested from her opponent, finally giving away what the purple coloured Astral Dress wearing Spirit's name was. Kaguya chuckled as she relaxed her stance. "My Sturm Lanze is beyond the scope of language. Simultaneously real and imaginary. It's an abstract concept created to pierce-" Kaguya explained, moving her arms around as she spoke before raising her right hand into the air, only for Yuzuru to cut her off with an annoyed frown.
"Summary: Just like you, it is devoid of meaning". The rather large chested girl summarized, offending her twin at what she said. "That's not true, it does have meaning! Maybe you're just too stupid to really understand!" Kaguya snapped at Yuzuru, yet her expression didn't change whatsoever. "Derisive: your Sturm Lanze is laughable. Ha". Yuzuru replied with a mocking voice, then brought up her right hand to her face and let out a laugh.
That just ticked Kaguya off even more. "How dare you! To punish you for such insolence, perhaps I should rip that smirk off your face right here and now!" The purple Astral Dress wearing girl exclaimed, throwing her left fist out and summoning forth a powerful gust of wind around herself, blowing away a bit of grass. Yuzuru did the same as her twin, yet not so dramatically as how Kaguya did it.
Shido held up his right forearm to protect his face with the right eye closed, while Rinne threw herself over Tohka's unconscious body in a protective manner so that she won't get blown away. "We're gonna get caught in the middle!" The Itsuka boy stated, turning to look at the two Spirits behind him before looking back at the two battling ones. Rinne looked over her right shoulder to gaze towards Kaguya and Yuzuru, eyes displaying great worry for the two of them.
"Sink into darkness!" Kaguya cried out, then leaped forward into the air. "Tort: hi-yah!" Yuzuru cried out, leaping forward as well. Both twins drew closer to one another, just about to clash until Shido and Rinne couldn't stay silent anymore. "STOP IT!/ ENOUGH!" The two shouted out at the top of their lungs, which caught Kaguya and Yuzuru by surprise. They stopped a mere inch away from one another, planting their feet against the ground, and turned to look at the ones responsible for stopping their battle.
They finally saw Shido standing down the hill with Rinne behind him, no longer atop of Tohka and was now on her knees with the both of them staring towards the twins. Shido let out a low gasp upon realizing their attention was on him, while Rinne sighed in relief that the fighting stopped. "Wait, is that a human?" Kaguya questioned with her teeth gritted against each other. "Wonder; I cannot express my surprise". Yuzaru commented, yet still had an emotionless face as she stared down at Shido.
Shido grew a small nervous look, while Rinne stood up on her feet fully and went to stand next to her boyfriend on Shido's right. "Ummm... hi?" The Itsuka boy nervously greeted, causing the Ruler Spirit to grow a nervous smile at her boyfriend's rather weak greeting. "Why have you brought our sacred duel to a standstill, human and what are your intentions for us? Depending on your answer..." Kaguya question, only to stop and look up in thought with her right hand's index finger lifted up. "I'll, uhhh..." She said in confusion, before glaring down at Shido with narrowed eyes. "Turn your body into a jelly with my Schatten Lanze!" Kaguya finished, causing Rinne to sweat drop at what she said.
'Didn't she call it Sturm Lanze?' The Ruler Spirit questioned inside her mind, not saying it out loud to not draw Kaguya's attention on her. "Remark: the name has changed". Yuzuru remarked as she turned to look at Kaguya, catching her by surprise before glaring at the blue coloured Astral Dress wearing Spirit. "Unimportant! Now be quiet already!" Kaguya snapped at her twin.
"Inquiry: since you were the one who is confused, why must I be quiet?" Yuzuru questioned Kaguya, before turning to look at Shido and Rinne while Kaguya growled through gritted teeth. Kaguya then pounted and turned to look at the couple, where she saw Shido looking confused now while Rinne still had a nervous smile. "At this rate, we won't resolve anything. Unless..." She said, before blinking upon suddenly thinking of a solution. She turned to look at her twin with a smile, then tilted her head and narrowed the right eye slightly.
"I think I know how we can settle things. For good". Kaguya told Yuzuru, catching her attention as she looked away from Shido and Rinne to her twin. "Question: what did you have in mind?" The blue Astral Dress wearing Spirit questioned with a hint of curiosity leaking out. "A new trail. We've had many contests, haven't we?" Kaguya began, raising both her hands to the sides before lowering them and closed her eyes in a confident way. "We've each had 25 victories and come to a draw 49 times". She continued, opening both eyes and gave a sly look. "The list of events to compete in is rapidly dwindling. However..." Kaguya then held up her right hand's index finger.
"There is still one competition which hasn't yet determined a victor between us". She finished, causing Yuzuru to slightly narrow her eyes at Kaguya. "Doubtful. Explain". The Spirit wearing the blue coloured Astral Dress requested from her twin. Instead of answering, Kaguya turned to look down at Shido with a grin, something that Yuzuru looked slightly surprised at. The purple wearing girl's grin widened, filling Shido with dread as he took a step back.
Rinne grew a concerned look for her boyfriend, wondering what exactly has Shido gotten involved in. 'I don't like the way she's looking at Shido'. The Ruler Spirit thought, worried about what Kaguya planned to do with her boyfriend.
(Meanwhile with the rest of class)
While Shido, Rinne and Tohka were outside and experienced the storm firsthand, the rest of Class 2 – 4 of Rizen High School had made it to Arubi Island's museum and found shelter. Now that the storm seemed to have cleared, Origami was trying to head back outside to search for Shido, but the only problem was that Tamae was holding onto her left arm to keep the AST girl from going out.
"Origami, it's still too dangerous outside!" Tamae told her student in hopes she won't head out when the storm could come back without warning. "The winds are subsiding. This is my chance". The AST girl replied to the young-looking teacher, not the least bit afraid of a storm. "I know you're worried about Shido, Tohka and Rinne, but not now!" Class 2 - 4's teacher told Origami, catching her attention as she looked at Tamae over the left shoulder. "I'm only worried about Shido". Origami told the older female with a cold voice, having no care about what happens to Tohka and Rinne.
"Huh?" Tamae blinked at Origami's words and lack of care for two of her classmates. Origami then took her chance to escape Tamae's grip and run to the exit, much to the adult woman's panic. "Origami!" She cried out, chasing after her student with her arms held out to catch her. Just as Origami ran outside the museum's slide door, she stopped upon seeing a strange sight in front of her. "Huh?" She said in confusion, just as Tamai caught up with her. Standing a few feet away from here were Shido, Rinne, Tohka, Kaguya and Yuzuru.
The twins were no longer wearing their Astral Dresses and instead now wore the Raizen High School summer uniform for girls, almost exactly like Rinne's. But the most attention-grabbing detail was that they both had their arms wrapped around Shido's biceps, while he looked a bit irritated. Rinne was walking close to her boyfriend, carrying the unconscious Tohka by holding her right arm over her shoulders. The Ruler Spirit also had a nervous smile directed at Shido for this predicament he's in.
The couple then noticed Origami staring at them, before Shido's face fell a bit. "Hey, uh... We're back". He greeted, hoping that Origami doesn't get the wrong idea about Yuzuru and Kaguya. The rest of Class 2 - 4 came out and stared at the new faces in confusion at why they were so close to the Itsuka boy.
The twins paid no attention to the stares directed at them and instead, leaned their faces closer to Shido's. "There's no denying I'm obviously more lively and charming than she is". Kaguya said on Shido's left with a charming smile, shorting the distance between their faces even more. "Seduction: I'm more fully developed". Yuzuru remarked from the Itsuka boy's right, still having an expressionless face despite her attempts at seducing Shido. Rinne grew a small frown, unpleased that her boyfriend was subjected to this.
Origami's eyes shifted from Yuzuru to Kaguya, then at Shido. "What gives?" She questioned the blue-haired boy on just what was going on and who the twins were. Shido sweated nervously as he thought of an explanation, before he blinked upon seeing Reine walk out of the museum. The sleep deprived woman glanced over to Shido and nodded to him, giving an unspoken message saying that she'll handle things. The Itsuka boy looked relived, before returning the nod to Reine.
(Later on in the museum)
Things had calm down a bit from when Shido arrived with the Spirits. Shido had managed to explained to Reine what happened to him, Rinne and Tohka and their encounter with Kaguya and Yuzuru. Understanding the situation, Ratatoskr's Analysis Officer took care of the situation. Right now, she was standing in front of Tamae in the museum's hallway. Shido, Rinne, Tohka, Kaguya and Yuzuru were currently elsewhere.
"They're transfer students". Reine informed her fellow teacher, who had her hands resting on her chest. "This is highly unorthodox. The school never informed me they were coming". Tamae said in an uncertain voice because she didn't receive word about any transfer students. "It was so sudden, they were probably worried that they couldn't contact you in time". The sleep deprived woman lied, taking a mental note to inform Ratatoskr to set up fate identities for the new Spirits if things go well.
"Don't worry about the new girls. Leave them to me, okay". Reine told the shorter woman, before turning around and took hold of a door's doorknob that was behind her. "Please focus your energy on the other students". She told Tamae, opening the door and walked through it as she spoke. "Oh...thank you". Class 2 - 4's teacher thanked her assistant as the door fully closed.
Tamae turned her head right to look down the hall towards a bench, where Rinne and Tohka were. The Princess Spirit was still unconscious with her eyes now spinning swirls, lying down with her head nested on Rinne's lap. The Ruler Spirit was softly smiling down at her fellow Spirit as she ran her left hand's fingers down Tohka's soft hair. "Tohka, good job protecting Shido. Just rest and recover now". Rinne said gently to the unconscious Tohka, thankful to her for acting quickly to protect Shido.
Meanwhile in the room that Reine just entered, she stared at Shido, Kaguya and Yuzuru as all three of them were sitting down on an ottoman couch with the two Spirits still attempting to seduce the teenage boy. "So Shido, all you have to do is make a simple little choice. Just say "Kaguya, you drive me wild. Let me give myself to you. body and soul forever". Kaguya said to Shido with a seductive voice as she ran her hands over him, something that made him sweat drop. 'I think it's a bit too soon for that. Trust me, I know "that" isn't something to make light of'. The Itsuka boy thought, knowing perfectly well what Kaguya was talking about since he's done the deed in Eden.
"Wrong. Kaguya is a poor choice, she is quite needy and childish, however I would strongly recommend me". Yuzuru remarked, running her fingers over Shido's body as well. '...If I really had a choice, you two would be the last options. I just met you guys an hour ago'. Shido said inside his mind, looking down at the girls' hands running over his covered chest with both eyebrows twitching nervously. He tilted his head up to see Reine now standing in front of him, looking down at the Itsuka with her left hand resting on the hip.
"Feeling a little smothered, are we?" The sleep deprived woman questioned the teenage boy. Shido's eyebrows continued to twitch nervously as he stared up at Reine. "...Yeah..." He answered with a low voice, wondering just how he got stuck in a situation like this. And just like that, he remembered how this happened.
(Flashback to earlier)
Kaguya and Yuzuru stared down at Shido, completely ignoring Rinne and Tohka behind him as the purple coloured Astral Dress Spirit began to explain. "Putting our feminine wiles to the test, we haven't tried that yet. Surely the true heir of the Hurricane Child Yamai possesses enough grace and charm to make all of creation quake in jealousy". Kaguya explained to her twin what this new competition is. "Reply: I believe I follow your logic. In truth, it may be the only attribute which we have not put to a competition". Yuzuru replied, understanding what Kaguya was saying and seeing why she issued this new challenge.
Shido had his teeth gritted against one another and eyes narrowed at how the two were talking about using him in some sort of competition without his consent. He directed his gazes towards Kaguya, who was staring down at him with narrowed eyes. "Yuzuru, do you agree to pit our beauty against one another? Of course, my victory is certain". Kaguya said as she turned to look at Yuzuru with a confident grin. The blue coloured Astral Dress Spirit also turned to look at her twin, still displaying an emotionless face.
"Negative. There is no chance you could ever beat me. After all, I am the cutest. To be frank, your looks are average at best". Yuzuru shot back at Kaguya, much to her rage as she held up both fists. "What do you mean by that?!" She snapped at her twin, before closing both eyes to calm herself down and opened both hands. "Doesn't matter. This will be our decisive battle. Whoever gets this man to fall in love first will be the winner". Kaguya told Yuzuru, before they both looked towards Shido, who didn't look so nervous now and instead was staring at them as if they had two heads.
Rinne had a disapproving frown directed at the twins after hearing Kaguya's words. 'Are those two seriously gonna make Shido "fall in love" with one of them just to win a contest against each other? What could be so important to them that they'd do something as ridiculous as this?' The Ruler Spirit questioned inside her mind, disliking how the twins were attempt to make Shido fall in love with one of them just for the sake of a competition.
(Flashback end)
That was how Shido got involved in this whole thing. He gritted both teeth as he looked down, ignoring both twins as they brought their faces closer to his. "Come on now, handsome. Just spit it out. Which of us has more feminine charm? Me or little miss boring there?" Kaguya asked the Itsuka boy, giving a small sly look at him as if she was certain he'll pick her. "Question: do you prefer a beautiful woman, or a cheap floosy like her?" Yuzuru questioned, softening her gaze at Shido to make herself more attractive looking.
'I wish that I could just tell them that I've already got a girlfriend. One that I love more than anything else so that they could just understand how pointless this is, but I can't'. Shido thought, knowing full well that if this whole contest was called off, the twins would go back to battling and the island will be caught right in between them. Kaguya leaned back from Shido's face and glared towards her twin at what she said. "Look, I'm not a floosy! You take that back right now!" She snapped at Yuzuru, grabbing her attention as she looked from Shido to Kaguya.
"No, I am prettier than that trollop Kaguya". The calm collected girl shot back at her twin, moving away from Shido a little. "Stop! That's even worse!" Kaguya exclaimed, thrusting both hands down to express her anger. At that moment, Shido couldn't take being in between these two and staying quiet anymore. "Would everyone shut up for five seconds please!" The Itsuka boy shouted out as he threw his head up, catching Kaguya and Yuzuru by surprise as they turned their attention down to him.
Shido lowered his head and took a deep breath to calm himself down. He then turned to look at Yuzuru first. "Let me ask you something first..." He began, turning to look over to Kaguya. "Why are you ladies trying to duel each other for the hundredth time anyway?" Shido questioned the orange-haired girls the reason why they're competing against each other. Kaguya still looked a bit surprised at Shido's earlier outburst. "Ehhh... Oh, didn't we mention it already?" She questioned, unable to recall ever telling Shido why they're having a contest against one another.
"Apologizes: We forgot to tell you. As the arbitrator, you have the right to know all the pertinent details. You see Kaguya and I were once combined as a single Spirit". Yuzuru told Shido, much to his surprise as he looked over to Kaguya, who nodded to confirm Yuzuru's words. "The name of the Spirit was Yamai". Kaguya told the Itsuka boy the name of hers and Yuzuru's original self. Shido listened with great attention to not miss a single detail.
(Meanwhile with Yoshino)
The Hermit Spirit and Yoshinon were still watching the same soap opera, only now they were getting a little bit tired as they watched. Yoshino and Yoshinon let out loud yawns as the two sisters continued to fight over the man they like. 'Just pick me!' One sister demanded to be chosen. 'No, you have to choose me'. The other sister pleaded to the man. Yoshino brought up her right hand to rub her right eye, while Yoshinon lurched forward a little.
(Back at Arubi island)
"So basically, for reasons yet to be announced, someday soon you'll both have to go back to being a single Spirit". Shido summarized what he's been told by Kaguya and Yuzuru about their existence. "And when that happens, the two different personalities won't be able to co-exist, is that right?" He questioned to be certain, which Kaguya nodded from his left. "Correct. The personality of the original Yamai was lost ages ago. Thus, Yuzuru or I will become the new Yamai for there can be only one". She answered the Itsuka boy, confirming everything he suspected.
"Correct. Explanation: in order to determine who that will be, we have fought tooth and nail for many years. Fist fight, foot race, kendama and eating contest. We've competed in a variety of ways". Yuzuru informed the blue-haired boy, images of the twins doing said events coming into Shido's mind. "Those last two are less dramatic". Shido mumbled, before raising his head and stared forward. "What happens to the personality that loses?" He asked, wondering what will happen to the loser.
"It will cease to exist". Kaguya answered, causing Shido to widen his eyes in horror and let out a stuttering breath. The words "cease to exist" brought back the memory of Rinne disappearing in his arms, a memory that terrified him completely because he feared that one day, he'll lose her again. He turned to look at Kaguya, eyes still wide in horror. "No way". He said in disbelief, heart sinking in terror at the thought of experiencing those terrible feelings he felt when the girl he loved disappeared from his arms again.
"We really appreciate you, Shido". Kaguya told the teenage boy, wrapping her arms around Shido's left arm and pressed against it. The Itsuka boy gave a confused, yet still terrified look at her. "Thanks to you, we can compete in a way we've never been able to". The orange-haired girl explained to the boy, causing him to blink at her. "Affirmative. I have no objections if this match is what makes the final decision". Yuzuru said, arms already wrapped around Shido's right arm before pressing her body against it.
Shido looked at Yuzuru, then at Kaguya, back at Yuzuru and continued the cycle for a few seconds, before eventually looking down with a conflicted face. "...Do you guys even know what you're getting into?" He questioned the twins, much to their confusion as they blinked at him. Before the two could ask him what he meant, Reine walked into view with a tablet in her left hand, staring down at its screen. "That can't be good". She stated, catching the attention of Shido and the two girls as they looked at her. "Is there somekind of problem?" The Itsuka boy asked the female adult in concern.
Reine lowered the table and turned to look at Shido. "Yes. Fraxinus hasn't sent any updates or status reports in hours". The sleep deprived woman answered the teenage boy, resulting in Shido breathing out in disbelief at hearing this. "The reason is unknown, but I will investigate. Anyway..." Reine told Shido as she placed her left hand pressed against the hip. "And now ladies, if you would both follow me please. Shin is more wily than he looks. I'll give you some tips to deal with him". Ratatoskr's Analysis Officer offered to Kaguya and Yuzuru, catching their attention as they looked over to her.
"Ehh?" Shido said in concern that they're gonna go through with the two Yamai's contest. Kaguya gave a chuckle and smirked at the older woman. "You think you know better than me, lowly human? I don't need your dumb tips to-" The orange-haired girl spoke, only to get cut off by Reine. "I wouldn't mind helping just one of you". Reine stated, much to the curiosity of Kaguya and Yuzuru as they stared at her. They hummed in thought, theny looked at each other, before back at her.
In the end, they decided to accept Reine's advice and left with her, leaving Shido alone in the room. He gave an exhausted sigh with both eyes closed. He reopened them to stare down at his hands, just as they began to shake. "Those two... They have no idea just what's waiting for them if one of them is truly erased from existence?" Ratatoskr's main operative said to himself, bringing both hands together and gripped them together hard.

"That feeling... It's like losing a piece of yourself, lost forever with no way of ever getting it back. You'll feel like you're floating, unable to process anything other than your lost. But the worst part of it all is that it's all because of you". The Itsuka boy said, beginning to grith both teeth as guilt began to erupt from inside himself. Shido still felt like he was the one responsible that Rinne disappeared, despite the act being done by her. Shido felt like if he had just acted quickly, he could have stopped Rinne from kissing him and sealing her fate to disappear.
Shido didn't regret his first kiss with Rinne, he just wished that he didn't have the power to seal Spirits for that one moment. He let out a stuttering breath, before standing up on his feet fully and left the room through the door Reine entered through. Once in the hallway, Shido turned his head left to look down towards the bench where Rinne and Tohka were. The Ruler Spirit was still running her fingers through the unconscious Princess Spirit's hair, watching over Tohka as she recovered.
The blue-haired boy remained rooted where he was, wordlessly staring at Rinne with soft eyes as he took in every detail about her. She started off as a "childhood friend" to him at first, but now she was the most important person to him. He truly loved her and wanted to spend his life with her. If she ever disappeared again, he would fall into grief and sadness again.
As he stared at Rinne, Shido's eyes shifted over to Tohka and his expression soften. When he first laid eyes on her that day so long ago, Shido realized his heart was stolen by her after regaining his memories of Eden. It must have been one of the huge factors on why he chose her first as his chosen partner. Now, even after falling in love with Rinne and becoming a couple with her, Shido still felt the same way about her.
He felt like he was stuck between a rock and a hard place when it came to his feelings for the two Spirits. Shido tilted his head down as he thought about what to do about his feelings and the situation concerning Kaguya and Yuzuru. He was so deep in thought that he didn't notice Rinne had noticed him down the hall. The Ruler Spirit smiled gently as she raised her right hand and lightly waved at the Itsuka boy. "Shido!" She called out towards her boyfriend, snapping Shido out of his thoughts.
He lifted his head up and smiled at the Ruler Spirit. "Hey Rinne". He greeted with an uneasy voice as he walked over to her. Rinne's face fell upon hearing the uneasiness in her boyfriend's voice because she knew that meant something was wrong. "What's wrong? Did something happen with Kaguya and Yuzuru?" The Ruler Spirit asked her boyfriend with a concerned voice that something wasn't right. Shido stopped in front of his girlfriend, gazing at her with a conflicted look. "No, nothing has. At least not yet". He answered, much to the confusion of Rinne.
The Itsuka boy told Rinne all about what Kaguya and Yuzuru told him, about how they were one original Spirit, they competed against one another 99 times and how if one of them wins and becomes the true Yamai, the loser will cease to exist. By the end of it, Rinne's face displayed great concern for Kaguya and Yuzuru. "A Spirit that split into two, and one of the two is destined to be erased? How could something like this happen?" Rinne questioned, tilting her head down to look at Tohka and ran her left hand's fingers over Tohka's hair to calm himself.
"...I don't know, and I don't like it". Shido answered, looking away to the side with a small, terrified face. They were both silent for a matter of moments, until Shido spoke again. "Rinne, what am I supposed to do?" He asked her, catching Rinne off guard by the sudden question. "Eh?" The Ruler Spirit said in confusion, turning her gaze from Tohka up to Shido. "If I chose Kaguya, Yuzuru will cease to exist. But if I chose Yuzuru, Kaguya will disappear. No matter who I choose, someone is gonna go. And the worse part of it is that the choice is mine". Shido explained to his girlfriend, bringing both hands up and hugged himself.
"I'm...scared of going through that again. Seeing something important disappear from my arms again, I don't want that to happen". The blue-haired boy said with growing wide eyes of horror with his body beginning to shake as if he were in an absolute zero temperature winter. Rinne watched her boyfriend with a sad face at how traumatized he was after she "died". He hasn't shown signs of anything like this before, but hearing someone might disappear from existence must be getting to him.

Rinne gave a gentle look of comfort at her boyfriend, deeply wishing she could go over to him and wrap her arms around him, but can't right now with Tohka recovering. "Shido, you're right that you have to make a choice, but that doesn't mean someone will disappear from existence". Rinne told her boyfriend, grabbing his attention as he ceased shaking and looked at her.
"You've faced many situations where it seemed like a solution was impossible, but you pulled through in the end. You even managed to escape my Paradise Lost, something meant to be unescapable. Shido... I believe in you with all my heart, and it's not just me. Tohka, Yoshino, Origami and Kotori all do as well. Maybe even Kurumi. That's why I know you'll find a way to save both Kaguya and Yuzuru. You're our hope". The Ruler Spirit told her boyfriend with a certain voice, pouring her heart into every word she said.
Shido was no longer shaking, nor had a look of terror in her eyes anymore. Now, he was staring at Rinne in awe after hearing her speech. He then gave the Ruler Spirit a heartfelt smile because he no longer felt the terror from a few seconds ago. "Rinne...thank you". The blue-haired boy thanked the teenage girl, which she gave an innocent giggle with both eyes closed in a joyful manner. "I may not be able to use my Spirit powers, but I can still help in many other ways. I'm happy to help you whenever you need it". She told the 17-year-old boy, opening both eyes in mid-speech.
Shido continued smiling at the pink-haired girl, before glancing away to the side with a slightly flushed face. "Hey... would it be alright if I kissed you?" He asked the Ruler Spirit, catching Rinne off guard as she widened both eyes and flushed a bit. She stared at her boyfriend for a few moments, before slightly tilting her head down in a nervous manner. "You...don't really need to ask me. We're together, so that means you can kiss me whenever you want. Just...give me a little heads up in advance". The pink-haired girl answered with a low, nervous voice, yet Shido still heard it.
Shido's flushed face turned redder than before at Rinne's words. Wordlessly, he walked to the right side of the couch, where he leaned down and rested both arms on the arm rest, all the while Rinne watched him with a healthy blush. Shido brought up his right hand and gently placed it on the Ruler Spirit's left cheek. Rinne' eyes became half lidded at feeling the touch of her boyfriend. The Itsuka boy then leaned forward and claimed Rinne's lips in a soft, loving kiss.
The two closed their eyes in bliss at the soft feeling of each other's lips, feeling as if the whole world had disappeared around them as all they cared about were each other. Rinne even moaned a little. After a few seconds, Shido broke the kiss as he leaned back with him and Rinne opening their eyes and smiled at each other. "Sorry if I was a bit straightforward, but I just really wanted to do that". The Itsuka boy apologized to the Ruler Spirit, which she shook her head at him.
"Don't worry about it. It's normal for someone to kiss the one they love. Besides, you've done the deed a lot of times now, and not just with me". Rinne said to her boyfriend with a playful grin, something that made Shido laugh nervously. Just as he was about to say something back to the Ruler Spirit, Tohka suddenly started groaning.
Shido and Rinne looked down at the Princess Spirit's face, just in time to see Tohka open her eyes. She groaned and blinked, before looking up to see her fellow Spirit looking down at her with a relived smile.
"Tohka, you're finally awake. I was starting to get worried". Rinne said in relief to see her friend regain consciousness. "R-Rinne...? What happened?" Tohka groaned out, unable to remember what happened to her. "You pushed me out of the way to save me from getting hit by trash cans. Thanks for that by the way". Shido told the purple-haired girl, catching her attention. The Princess Spirit tilted her head up and smiled brightly at the sight of Shido.
"Shido!" Tohka exclaimed in joy, magically recovered completely just from seeing Shido's face. She turned over, placed both hands on Rinne's thighs and pushed herself onto her knees. Then without warning, Tohka leaped at Shido, taking him by surprise as Tohka's surprising move resulted in him falling to the ground on his back. Rinne blinked in surprise at this surprising turn of events, before looking over to see Shido lying on the ground on his back with Tohka atop of him, the Princess Spirit's head and arms resting on Shido's chest.
Tohka had a cute, anime overjoyed face as she snuggled against Shido's chest, while he stared down at her with wide eyes and flushed cheeks. The teenage boy smiled nervously and began chuckling in a nervous manner. He looked up towards his girlfriend, where he saw Rinne giggling innocently at him and Tohka. 'Well... There's nothing wrong with this, I guess. I mean, technically, Tohka's still my wife I guess'. The blue-haired boy thought to himself, looking down at Tohka's face and let her be.

Eventually, Tohka let go of Shido and learned what had happened after she had been knocked out. Later on, the class finished with Arubi Island's museum and went to a three-story hotel on top of a rocky cliff overlooking the ocean with open-air baths right next to it. Not too long ago, the class had a nice, enjoyable dinner and were now walking down a hall to the rooms assigned to them for their stay here. "The dinner was great! The Atka mackerel was awesome!" Tonomachi called out in a satisfied voice, both arms folded behind his head like a pillow as he walked with the other students.
Shido, Rinne and Tohka were walking together. Shido and Rinne had their left and right hands together as they walked together, but the three were in the middle of a conversation right now. "Tohka, are you really sure you're okay now?" The Itsuka boy asked the Princess Spirit because he wanted to be certain she's alright. The three stopped in the middle of the hallway, where the boys and girls split to find their rooms, before Tohka turned to look at her two friends.
She gave a confident grin as she thrust up both fists. "Yep! Don't worry! The hearty meal cheered me right up!" Tohka said full of energy, something that made Rinne smile at. She then looked to Shido. "I'll look after Tohka, so don't worry. You go rest, you'll need it for tomorrow". The Ruler Spirit told her boyfriend, certain that tomorrow Reine will get Shido to work on sealing the Spirit powers of Kaguya and Yuzuru.
Shido looked at and nodded to his girlfriend. "Okay, I'll see you two later". The Itsuka boy said to Rinne, before letting go of each other's hands. "Later, Shido". Tohka bid farewell as she and Rinne began heading down the hall to their rooms, all the while the Ruler Spirit waving her left hand at Shido softly. "Rest well Shido, good night". Rinne said to Shido, before turning around and walked right behind Tohka. Shido watched them go for a few seconds, before turning around and walked off.
Unknown to them all was that they were being watched by Ellen. She was hiding behind a wall in the distance to not get spotted. She took a step forward, before slightly widening her eyes upon remembering the problem she's had all day. 'Oh wait'. She thought, looking over her right shoulder to see if the three girls were nearby. 'I may run into that trio again if I move around carelessly'. She added, keeping her guard up for the three that's been a thorn to her side ever since this mission started.
She turned to look forward, but upon seeing no sight of them, Ellen relaxed and gave a sigh of relief. Just as she stepped out of her hiding place, somebody grabbed her arms. Ellen looked and grew a stupefied expression at seeing it was Ai and Mai with Mii standing behind them. Ai tugged on Ellen's arm, grabbing her attention. "Where are you going, Ellen?" The blond-haired girl questioned the older female, before Mai tugged on Ellen's arm and made the adult woman turn to her. "How come you never take our photos?" The high school girl questioned with a comical glare.
"That's so lame". Mii stated, holding up both arms with her glasses shining a bit brightly. "Th-that's not true!" The DEM Wizard stuttered, turning from Mai to Ai and back, repeating the cycle as the girls began questioning her more. 'When did they get here?! How are these girls doing this?!' Ellen shouted out inside of her mind, unable to do anything as Ai and Mai began dragging her down the hall with Mii following them.

Shido walked down the stairway of the hotel down to the open-air baths, carrying a white towel. He currently had a face of mental exhaustion after all he's gone through today. 'I really need to go over our agenda, Reine. Two new Spirits pop up and Reine and I have to fly solo. What kinda tips is she giving for them to deal with me?' Shido questioned inside his mind, reaching the end of the stairway and went to the open-air bathhouse's male entrance, only to stop at an unexpected surprise.
He let out a cry of surprise at seeing Kaguya and Yuzuru standing outside the entrance with their arms crossed, as if they were waiting for him the whole time. "Oh, hi girls!" Shido greeted them with wide eyes and a sweat drop, taking a small step back. "Shido...We will allow you to purge the darkness which has accumulated within you". Kaguya told the blue-haired boy, as if granting him permission to go into the open-air bath.
"Confirmation: please feel free to enter the bath". Yuzuru said, her and Kaguya looking over to the blue coloured robs that had the Japanese writing for "Gents" on it. Shido gritted his teeth as he stared at the twins in suspicion that this could be a plan of theirs. "Okay..." Shido said to the two, deciding to play along and see where this went.
And in just a few seconds, he was regretting his decision. Why? Because he was in the bath with the warm water, towel wrapped around his waist, and with Kaguya and Yuzuru seated beside him on both sides. The girls had towels wrapped around their bodies, and had their arms wrapped around his as they pressed themselves against him. Shido gritted his teeth and felt his left eyebrow twitch. "Hey... What made you think it was alright to take a bath with me?" The blue-haired boy questioned the two females, sweating nervously a little bit.
"Duh, how else am I gonna make you go crazy for my pixie-like feminine charm". Kaguya told the teenage boy with a confident grin, while Yuzuru stared at her twin with an emotionless face. "Scornful: feminine charm you say? Were you planning to buy some here because you didn't bring any with you, sister". The curvy figure girl mocked the braided hairstyle girl, causing Kaguya to glare at her. "Hmph. I swear I'll make you pay for that later, you cow!" The orang-haired female shot back at her twin.
That got Yuzuru's full attention as she turned to fully look at her twin. "Accepted. Now bring it on". She told Kaguya, just as Shido let out an exhausted breath at them bickering. "EXCUSE ME!?" He shouted out, throwing his head up and catching both twins by surprise as they backed away slightly. "THIS IS THE MEN'S BATH, WHICH MEANS NEITHER OF YOU ARE EVEN SUPPOSED TO BE ON THIS SIDE!" Shido told the two, looking at Yuzuru first and then at Kaguya.
The braided hairstyle girl gave a rather dark chuckle as she leaned close to Shido's ear, eyes covered by her hair's bangs. "Ahehe... Better prepare yourself stud". Kaguya told the teenage boy, which he blinked as she pressed against his arm. "I'll make you realize that you can never be satisfied by anyone, but me". Kaguya added, causing Shido's eyebrow to twitch a bit. Things only continued to get worse for him as Yuzuru leaned close to his right ear. "Negative. Just think..." She began, grabbing the Itsuka boy's attention as he blinked and looked at her.
"There's only a flimsy white towel separating our flesh". She finished, before she and Kaguya placed their hands on Shido's "rode", resulting in his eyes turning comical white in shock with both cheeks turning red. He gave a startled cry, then tilted his head up a little. "Wh-what are you..." He stuttered nervously because he knew where this was heading and unfortunately, didn't have it within himself to stop the two. A bird cried out nearby as a wave of water slammed into the cliff, going up a bit before returning to the ocean.
Shido forced himself to keep both eyes closed as he waited for his "doom", but nothing happened. After a few seconds, his curiosity overcame him as he opened both eyes to see the Yamai twins staring at each other and not making a move on him. He looked at Yuzuru first, then Kaguya, before growing a comically suspicious look. "Aha, here we go. Ready? Out of the kindness in my heart, you can have the first seduction attempt". Kaguya told her twin, while Shido turned his gaze over to Yuzuru. "Negative. Not need, however you could use any handicap you can get, I'd wager". The Spirit with the curvy figure replied to her twin, stunning Kaguya for a moment.
"Then the gloves are off! The moment I make my big move, Shido's eyes will never stray from me again". Kaguya told Yuzuru, before giving a sly grin at her. "You should be appreciate that I'm even giving you a-" The braided hair style girl spoke, only to get cut off by Yuzuru. "Skeptical. You have no idea what it takes to seduce a young man, do you?" The female with the curvy figure remarked, getting Kaguya to flinch and gave out a surprised cry with both cheeks turning red.
"You bet I do! I'm super foxy! Plus, I got a don of sexy techniques that a bore like you couldn't dream up in a million years!" Kaguya exclaimed, now looking a bit nervous after what her twin said. "Doubtful. Care to demonstrate?" Yuzuru said with a foxy grin directed at Kaguya. The braided girl almost moved back, yet stopped herself and glared at Yuzuru in an embarrassed way. "Alright, just you watch!" The orang-haired girl exclaimed, getting up on her feet fully.

Shido and Yuzuru watched Kaguya as she smiled and did a sexy pose, yet it didn't seem right somehow. "How do ya like that?" She questioned with a smug voice, only to blink upon realizing her audience was staring at her, and not in amazement. Shido's cheeks were lightly red again as he stared at Kaguya, while Yuzuru snickered with a grin as she brought up her right hand to her face. "Uhh..." The Itsuka boy turned his head to look at Yuzuru. "I'm confused". He stated, honestly not turned on the least bit.
Kaguya began to grow deep embarrassment, until she yelled out to express it and fell back into the bath, kicking up a bit of water all the while covering her covered chest. "Hey! What are you laughing at?!" She demanded at Yuzuru with an embarrassed voice, looking right up at her. "Ridicule: your "allure" was certainly a sight to behold". The curvy figured Spirit mocked her twin, much to Kaguya's embarrassed anger. "What did you say?! As if a girl without a shred of passion would have even the foggiest notion" Kaguya screamed out at Yuzuru, offended at what she said.
Yuzuru narrowed her left eyebrow and lifted the right one at Kaguya's words. "Falsehood". She stated, then brought up her right hand and pointed at Kaguya with the index finger. "My worth would still be better than you". Yuzuru told her blushing twin staring right at her. "Why don't you show us how it's done!" Kaguya suggested, much to Yuzuru's annoyance as she frowned at her. "Accepted. Here we go". The orange-haired girl said, lowering her hand and looked at Shido, who was staring at her.
She moved closer to the Itsuka boy, who backed away in fear with teeth gritted against one another. "Hi handsome". Yuzuru greeted the teenager, before bringing both hands to her lips and blew a kiss at him. Shido, no longer afraid of her, gave a comical unimpressed face. "Uhhh, thanks". He sarcastically thanked the orange-hair girl while Kaguya stood up on her feet fully, pointed at Yuzuru and laughed. "Haha, whoa! You sure showed me!" She laughed out, waving her right hand up and down to express her amusement as Shido looked at her, while Yuzuru frowned at Kaguya.
Kaguya leaned forward, placed both hands against her back's waist and gave Yuzuru a smug face. "I can't believe you had me worried!" She remarked with a wide smug face, while Yuzuru brought her hands down, but not fully. "Livid. I am not interested in your opinion". The curvy figured Spirit told her twin, leaning down into the same position as Kaguya and glared right at her in the eye. Shido stared down at the two as they continued to argue with each other. "Humph! Same here!" The braided hair style twin stated to her twin.
"Noted. Your childish figure is not as effective at seduction as my womanly curves". Yuzuru shot back at Kaguya, refusing to let her get a step ahead. "Nonsense! You know that we're identical". Kaguya reminded her twin, frowning deeply at her with gritted teeth. "Rebuttal". Yuzuru said, climbing up to her feet with Kaguya watching her in wonder at what she was planning. Yuzuru placed both hands on her breasts, something that made Shido widen his comical white eyes in surprise. "Even if the measurements are the same, they feel completely different". The curvy figured girl told Kaguya, groping her own breasts.
Shido grew an exhausted look at Yuzuru, while Kaguya huffed and stood up fully, crossing both arms. "You're underestimating the attractiveness of a slender body". The braided hairstyle girl said with a confident smirk. "Pardy: slender body you say? Change the words to sound better all you wish, but you cannot alter the sad truth". Yuzuru replied to her twin, all the while Shido shifted his gaze from the two again and again.
Kaguya smirked with gritted teeth at Yuzuru, then snickered at her. "Are you seriously bragging because you have more fat on your chest". Kaguya mocked the curvy figured girl. "Anger: that is unacceptable. I believe you are simply jealous". Yuzuru shot back at Kaguya, much to Kaguya's anger as she stepped forward with her arms no longer crossed and instead up to express her anger. "Jealous of you, cow? I'm not, you understand me? Shido thinks I'm cutter than some fatty like you any day of the week, no ifs, ands or buts!" Kaguya scowled at her twin, who stood up on her feet fully.
She stepped right up to Kaguya, frowning slightly at her. "Wrong. When attempting to appeal to men, being flat chested is a bad thing. Chicken bones like yours wouldn't rate a second glance". Yuzuru mocked her twin, intensifying Kaguya's anger as she threw both fists down. "They aren't chicken bones!" She snapped at Yuzuru, which she took a step forward. "Repost: don't ever call me a fatty". The curvy figured girl told her twin, honestly angered at what Kaguya called her.
"You have more split ends than I do!" Kaguya exclaimed, neither her or Yuzuru paying attention to Shido as he watched them argue and sweating nervously. "Snark: you're smellier than I am whenever you get sweaty". Yuzuru shot back at the braid hairstyle girl. "Oh? Well, you have more bodyfat than I do!" Kaguya shouted out, growing angrier by the insult thrown her way. "Pity. You're not intelligent enough to find another spot of mine to comment on". Yuzuru said in pity for her twin since she was running out of insults.
Just then, Shido let out a gasp upon seeing a shadow through the sliding doors to the dressing room. He paled upon the realization that someone was about to enter, a male and that they were gonna see the twins. "Fatty, fat puffball!" Kaguya insulted Yuzuru, neither of them noticing someone about to enter. "Counter: flat as a board, flat Staine". Yuzuru insulted Kaguya back as Shido gritted his teeth and began to sweat nervously again. "Hold on, the others might show up at any time". The Itsuka boy said, interrupting the twins' argument as they looked down at him.
"It won't look good if you're caught in the men's bath". Shido warned the two Spirits, but they didn't grow worried. "Ha, what are you talking about, Shido?" Kaguya asked with a relaxed smile directed at the boy. "Confirm. There's no need to worry". Yuzuru told the teenage boy, much to his confusion at why they weren't so worried. "Uhhh, but why?" He questioned the two, right as the sliding door opened.
Shido widened his eyes and turned to look at the one entering the door, only to flush bright red with both eyes turning into comical white circles at what he saw. It was Tohka, completely naked since she didn't have a towel wrapped around her body and was instead carrying one with her left arm. The Princess Spirit giggled happily, then let out a happy cry as she charged into the bath, making a huge splash that kicked up a bit of water. "Tohka!" A familiar voice cried out, right before Rinne walked out of the dressing room.
Like Tohka, she was completely naked and was carrying a towel over her left forearm. "Don't just jump in there. You could hurt your..." The Ruler Spirit spoke, only to slowly stop as the water fell and revealed the sight of Shido, Kaguya and Yuzuru. At that moment, Tohka surfaced from the water, unintentionally giving a perfect view of her body. "Sorry Rinne, but I was the first one in the bath!" The Princess Spirit "apologized" to her fellow Spirit, before opening her eyes and finally noticed Shido, Kaguya and Yuzuru.

The twins were sitting down in the water again, staring at the two other Spirits with a normal look. Shido, on the other hand, was almost nuclear red at seeing the goddess-like bodies of Rinne and Tohka. A few seconds passed with Rinne and Tohka staring down at Shido, who was shifting his gaze between the two every 2 seconds, before the three eventually screamed. Shido's scream was of shock, while the Spirits' screams were of embarrassment.
"Shido!" The Ruler Spirit cried out, face deeply flushed as she went behind Tohka and out of Shido's view. He's seen her naked before, but that still didn't mean she's okay with him seeing her in that state whenever. "What are you thinking, being in a place like this?!" Tohka questioned the Itsuka boy, covering her breasts and "other area" with both hands. "Whoa, whoa, whoa! What are you two doing in the men's bathing area?" The blue-haired boy questioned the Princess Spirit back, raising both hands in peace.
"What are you talking about?! I went in the room with the red sign, just like Rinne and everyone told me to!" Tohka screamed out at Shido, just as Rinne stepped out from behind the Princess Spirit on the right, towel now wrapped around her body and covering it from Shido's eyes. "Shido, this isn't the men's bathhouse. It's the women's one". The Ruler Spirit informed her boyfriend, which he gasped in alarm at hearing that. "Huh? And how'd that happened?" He questioned, turning to look at Kaguya and Yuzuru for an explanation.
"Well..." Kaguya began, bringing her face closer to Shido as he grew a look of dread displayed at her. "We might have switched the signs right before you came in". She finished, before Shido turned to look at Yuzuru. "Supplement: once you came in, we put them back". The orange-haired girl told the Itsuka boy, before he turned to look back at Kaguya and saw her smirking at him. "Like we would sink so low to use the men's bath". The braided hairstyle girl added, resulting in Shido tilting his head up and gave an exhausted sigh at the whole situation.
The blue-haired boy opened his eyes to look at Rinne and Tohka. The Ruler Spirit had a disapproving frown at the Yamai siblings, while Tohka was staring at him with a disappointed face with both arms crossed, stilling holding her towel. "Figures. I got here early to be the first in the bath, but now I'm the fourth". The Princess Spirit remarked as Rinne came up beside her fellow Spirit. "Don't you two realize that you've put Shido in a bad situation? If he gets caught here in the women's bath, he's gonna get in big trouble". Rinne told the Yamai twins with a disapproving frown, getting Kaguya and Yuzuru to blink at her.
"I don't care how important this competition of yours is, you need to at least not cause trouble for others. And right now, Shido's in a position that he could get into some". The Ruler Spirit added, getting a nod from the Itsuka boy as he didn't want that. "Rinne's got a point, you two. I'll get out right now". Shido announced, picking up his towel and climbing up to his feet. Before he could even take a step, the sliding doors opened to show Ai, Mai, Mii and Origami, all of them wearing towels around their bodies with the trio of normal school girls giving out excited cries.
Shido let out a horrified cry at the sight of the four, while Rinne widened her eyes in alarm. The Itsuka boy quickly ran over to hid behind a large rock from view. "Check it out, the ocean is like right there". Ai remarked as Shido quickly rewrapped his towel around his waist again. "We would never get a view this good at home!" Mai called out, turning to look around her surroundings as there was nothing like this back at Tengu City. "That's so lame". Mii stated, while Origami remained silent as she had nothing to say.
"Gotta make a plan, and quickly". The blue-haired boy whispered, trying to think of a plan to get out of this situation without being seen. "Shido!" Tohka quietly called to Shido, catching his attention as he looked over to see her and Rinne walking up to him with the Princess Spirit's towel now wrapped around her body. "Tohka will cover you from sight, while I distract them. Once you're close to the exit, run as fast as you can". Rinne told her boyfriend, quickly taking a glance over to the new arrivals. "You sure?" The Itsuka boy asked the two, grabbing Rinne's attention as she looked back at him.
"Those girls tricked you into coming to the wrong bath. So, we're gonna get you out". Tohka told the teenage boy, determined to help him get out of this situation the Yamai twins got him into. Shido stared at the two girls for a few moments, before bowing his head in gratitude. "Thank you". He thanked Rinne and Tohka, relived that they're helping him. "I owe you guys". Shido added, which Rinne just smiled at him before she turned around and began walking towards Ai, Mai and Mii.
"Ai, Mai, Mii". The Ruler Spirit called to the three, catching the trio's attention as they looked over to Rinne. However, their eyes caught sight of Tohka walking sideways behind the approaching Rinne. "Hey... Tohka, I didn't know you were here". Ai said in surprise, much to the alarm of Rinne and Tohka with the Princess Spirit crying out a bit. Shido was right behind Tohka completely with her hair helping to cover him, yet now he had a complete terrified face because the plan was easily falling apart. All the while, Kaguya and Yuzuru watched and made no moves to help.
"Don't hide over in the corner, come and join us!" Ai called out with a wide smile, while Tohka laughed nervously. "O.m.g, you have like, perfect skin". Mai said in amazement as she, Ai and Mii began to enter the bath. "That's so lame". The last one of the trio stated as Tohka began waving her arms around in a comical panic. Rinne quickly stepped in front of the three girls to stop them from drawing closer. "Tohka was actually about to leave, she's been in here since a while ago. How about we talk about what we saw in the museum today?" Rinne suggested, clapping her hands gently together with a kind smile at the three.
Ai, Mai and Mii looked at the girl in their way to Tohka. "What? But we just got in, and besides that place was boring. Tohka, let's talk about how you keep that skin so perfect". Ai said as she walked past Rinne and continued on to Tohka, followed by Mai and Mii much to Rinne's comical panic. The trio then blinked at the Princess Spirit panicking as she was right now, drawing closer to her and Shido by the step. "Something wrong?" The leader of the trio asked the Spirit, just as Rinne turned around and held her left hand out to stop the three from getting closer.
"NO, NO, EVERYTHING'S FINE!" Tohka yelled out in comical panic, while Shido became more nervous by the second. Rinne caught up with Ai and grabbed her left shoulder, catching the blond-haired girl's attention as she and her friends stopped to look at the Ruler Spirit. "T-Tohka just likes her space in places like this. She gets nervously at people seeing her in places like this without clothes". Rinne told the trio with a nervous smile and eyes closed, hopping that they'll believe her and keep their distance.
Just then, Tohka stopped waving her arms around and pointed up towards the sky with the right hand's index finger. "LOOK! IS THAT A GIANT PIECE OF KINAKO BREADIN THE SKY!" The Princess Spirit shouted out as Ai, Mii, Mai and even Origami looked up at where she was pointing and saw nothing. Shido took that chance to quickly and quietly crawled out of the bath and to the edge of the cliff. Rinne was the only one that saw him do so and grew worried as that seemed more like a last option because the jump was too high.
Shido was panting as he made it to the cliff's edge and looked down to see how far the drop was, where he saw it was very large. Growing worried, Shido stood up on his feet as he stared down towards the water, not noticing Tohka was drawing closer to him with her attention on Ai, Mai and Mii, still trying to keep their attention off of her by making up excuses. Rinne noticed through and gave a worried gasp for her boyfriend. "Tohka-!" The Ruler Spirit called out in hopes to stop her, yet was too late as Tohka bumped her back into Shido.
The bump caused Shido to lose his balance. His eyes turned comical white as he waved both hands up and down in an attempt to regain balance, but failed. He began screaming as he fell, catching Tohka's attention as she looked over her right shoulder while Rinne gasped. The Ruler Spirit ran over and stopped next to Tohka, just in time to see Shido fell into the water, creating a big splash and kicked up a large bit of water. 'Shido... Don't worry, he should be fine. With Kotori's healing ability, his life isn't in danger so he should be safe'. Rinne thought to herself, relived that Shido would survive the wall and get away safely.
The Ruler Spirit then turned to look at Kaguya and Yuzuru and glared at them in anger for their stunt on Shido. Kaguya and Yuzuru just blinked innocently, not the least bit guilty at the trouble they caused for the Itsuka boy.
(Music end/ Later at night)
In a dark room with the lights off and curtains over the windows, Reine sat in front of a laptop placed on bench with its turned-on screen being the only light. She was currently typing away as she worked on making contact with Fraxinus, but was failing so far. Just then, someone knocked on the door, catching the sleep deprived woman's attention. "Huh?" She turned to the sliding door, right before it opened to reveal a shivering cold and wet Shido with him clicking his teeth. He had both arms on his biceps and still only had a towel around the waist as clothing.
Reine blinks at seeing Shido like this, while he just stared at her. Eventually, the adult woman found her voice. "Isn't it a little early to sneak into a woman's bedroom?" Reine questioned the teenage boy, which he just responded with more clicking his teeth.
(Meanwhile)
"We were delayed by unexpected circumstances". Ellen said to the captain of the Arbatel through her earpiece. She was in her own hotel room, leaning her back against a window that had a good view of the ocean, looking down at her camera's screen as it showed a photo of Tohka, Rinne, Ai, Mai and Mii. The two Spirits were crouching down, Tohka waving at the camera while Rinne had a kind smile with both eyes closed. Ai, Mai and Mii were standing behind the two, all looking at the camera as well.
"But we will strike tonight. Have Bandersnatch standing by and ready to move". The DEM Wizard ordered, zooming in on Tohka's image. She then lowered her hand, tilted her head forward and grew a sly grin with a chuckle.
(With Yoshino)
With the Hermit Spirit and Yoshino, the soap opera that they were watching was coming to an end. In the show, the man had finally chosen one sister to be his lover. Right now, the TV screen showed the new couple with their arms wrapped around each other and the sunset displayed. 'You chose me over my sister!' The woman said in joy that her new lover chose her. 'It doesn't really matter, does it?' The man responded to her, all the while Yoshino and Yoshinon had bored faces as they watched.
Yoshino's puppet friend turned to look at the child-like Spirit. "Yoshino?" Yoshinon called, catching Yoshino's attention as she looked at her friend. "Yes?" She responded with a curious look. "They gave us a lot of free time on this school trip". The puppet stated, raising her right hand up as she was getting terribly bored. Yoshino gave a hum of agreement and she nodded to her best friend.
(A little bit later on Arubi Island/ Play DATE A LIVE: Rio Reincarnation {OST} 09 Evening)
Thanks to the cold water and cold weather of late afternoon, Shido got sick. Fortunately for him, it was just a normal cold and he should quickly recover in time thanks to his healing ability. Right now, he was in Reine's room to rest and recover. The door had a sign that had the words "Sick: resting. Authorized personnel only", with a comical picture of Reine. However, Shido's troublesome day wasn't over just yet.
He was lying down on the bed of the room with a bed robe on, and under normal circumstances he'd be resting right now, but there were two problems he was currently dealing with that was keeping that from happening. To be more exact; two certain Spirits. "Uhhh, what are you doing Kaguya?" The Itsuka boy questioned in a frightened voice, holding the braided hairstyle girl back by pushing her back with his right hand on top of her head.
The Yamai twins were at it again in their contest to "win over" Shido, even after what they put him through already. Kaguya chuckled deviously, despite Shido's attempt to hold her back. "I'm joining you tonight. You adore sharing your bed with ladies according to my kinswoman". She said with a grin. The orang-haired girl was wearing a robe herself and was currently trying to straddle the poor guy in bed.
Shido slightly raised an eyebrow at what the Wind Spirit said, still keeping her back with all his strength. "Your KENSWOMAN?" He questioned her, wondering just who she meant as the only other Spirits on the island were Yuzuru, Tohka and Rinne. Speaking of Yuzuru, she appeared out of nowhere from behind Shido in a robe as well, placed her left hand atop his shoulder and licked sweat off Shido's neck, much to his comical surprise as he stuttered for a moment. "What?! Yuzuru?!" The Itsuka boy exclaimed, turning to look at her and still holding back Kaguya even as she went under the covers.
"Action: My master has informed me that this is the most desirable way to remove sweat". The curvy figured Spirit told the teenage boy, much to his growing confusion. "Y-your master?! Stop that, Kaguya!" Shido exclaimed, turning to look down at the blanket covered Spirit. Kaguya let out a deep breath of air as she stood up on her knees, throwing the bedsheets off her, and gave Shido a puppy dog look with a small blush. "Wait. You mean that you don't want me?" She questioned with an innocent and sad voice.
Shido both flinched and blushed at the look Kaguya was giving him, while Yuzuru stared at the back of his head.
(Meanwhile)
In the hallway of the hotel, Tohka and Origami stood across each other, both clothed in different coloured robes and had jackets on. The Princess Spirit had both eyes narrowed at the AST girl, while Origami had her usual emotionless stare. "Why would she need to lick him in order to get off sweat?" Tohka questioned her rival on what she taught Yuzuru. "You obviously do not know anything". The AST girl replied to Tohka, before the two grumbled as they glared at each other.
As fate would have it, Tohka was Kaguya's kinswoman and Origami Yuzuru's master. Under some circumstances, they taught the twins how to win a boy over in their own "different" ways. Unfortunately for them, their "teachings" weren't helping with Shido and instead making his afternoon unpleasant. Since the two rivals were glaring at one another, they didn't pay any attention to Rinne, who was standing a few feet away, clothed in a light pink coloured robe, watching them with a small, tired face.
She gave a small sigh, yet made no move to get in between the two rivals since she knew that once they were like this, nothing could stop them. 'Tohka and Origami really have it out for each other. Honestly, they're fighting like sisters'. The Ruler Spirit thought to herself, before blinking in surprise at the random thought she had. She then gave a giggle with both eyes closed upon thinking of the reactions Tohka and Origami would have if she had said that outload.
(Back with Shido)
Yuzuru suddenly got off of the bed and stood on her feet, then without warning untied her sash and let it fall to the ground. Shido and Kaguya turned to look at her in surprise, just in time to see her beginning to take the robe off. "Understood. Master said in order to warm you up properly, I would need to have skin to skin contact with you". The orange-haired girl said, revealing her body and the link purple bra and panties she was wearing underneath. Shido blushed at the sight as Yuzuru let the robe fall, before climbing onto the bed.
She went under the covers, just as her twin did so, all the while Shido and Kaguya watched her. All of a sudden, the Itsuka boy felt a soft sensation on his left leg and let out a deep gasp, throwing his head back a little. Kaguya frowned down at her blanket covered twin. "Hey, what are you snuggling up to him like that for?" She questioned Yuzuru, disliking how she was getting ahead like that in their contest. "Ignore. This action is none of your business. The space under the blanket belongs to adults". The curvy figured girl told her orange-haired girl, much to Kaguya's offense as both eyes turned comical white and her cheeks became a bit red.
"What?!" She shouted out, getting up on her feet then proceeded to take her robe off. But unlike her twin, Kaguya didn't have a bra or panties on. "Don't you underestimate me!" Kaguya shouted out at Yuzuru, while Shido screamed out at the sight of her naked body. 'This is just getting ridiculous!' He shouted out inside his mind, just as Kaguya went under the blanket as well. "Oh yeah. Now Shido, isn't this much warmer than what she was doing? After all, Yuzuru gets cold so easily". The Wind Spirit said underneath the blanket as she pressed against Shido's right leg.
Shido's face started to grow redder by the second at the twins' actions, unable to open his mouth to tell them to stop because of the embarrassment he was feeling. "Negative. Since Kaguya's chest is lonelier, she cannot produce very much heat at all". Yuzuru remarked, pressing her bra covered breasts against Shido's left leg. "What did you just say?!" Kaguya exclaimed in an angered voice. Then, a left hand and right hand shot out of the blanket and grabbed hold of Shido's sash. The Itsuka boy blinked in surprise, only to cry out as the sash was forced off and got thrown into the air.
(Music end/ Back with Rinne and the girls)
"Hold it!" The Princess Spirit exclaimed, grabbing hold of Origami's right shoulder just as she was about to head off to check on Shido. "I will take care of Shido when he's not feeling well". Tohka told the AST girl, while Rinne walked up to the two and stopped right behind her fellow Spirit. Origami looked at Tohka over her right shoulder with a small glare with the Spirit letting go of her shoulder.
"Let go. Shido is waiting for me right now". Origami told the Spirit, before the two went back to staring each other down. Rinne stepped in between them, smiling nervously with both eyes closed. "Tohka... Origami... Maybe we should let Shido be alone right now. He's sick right now and if we spend too much time with him, we'll get sick as well". Rinne told her friends, bringing up both hands in front of them in hopes to keep the argument from continuing.
The AST girl looked at the Ruler Spirit with her usual emotionless stare. "Rinne Sonogami, stay out of this. This doesn't really concern you, so step aside". Origami told the pink-haired female, catching Rinne's attention as she looked at the AST girl. Despite the words Origami was using, Rinne knew that she wasn't being rude, it was just Origami's way of speaking. "It actually does. Both of you are my friends, and I don't want you two arguing about this". The Ruler Spirit replied to the white-haired girl, before looking over to Tohka.
Rinne opened her mouth to speak, yet someone else beat her to it. "Hold it right there!" A familiar voice cried out, catching all three girls' attention. They looked over to see Ai, Mai and Mii poking their heads out of a door with two of them waving, while the leader was pointing into the room they're in with her right hand's thumb. "We're here guys, we can decide this thing for you". Ai informed the three girls, much to the confusion of Tohka and Origami while Rinne had a thankful smile at the trio.
The Princess Spirit and AST girl entered the trio's room, yet Rinne didn't join them and instead began to walk down the hall, something that confused the trio of girls. "Hey Rinne, where are you going? Aren't you gonna join us?" Mai asked Rinne, catching her attention as she stopped and looked over to Mai, Ai and Mii with an apologetic smile. "Actually, I was gonna turn in early for tonight. I'm sorry that I can't join in". The Ruler Spirit apologized, although she was hiding something from them. She had every intention of going to bed, but wanted to check in on her boyfriend first.
The trio of girls all looked disappointed that the new girl of their class wouldn't be joining them, before Ai nodded to Rinne. "Okay, but tomorrow night you have to join us. It'll be lots of fun". The blond-haired female told her new friend, which Rinne gave an excited giggle with both eyes closed. "I look forward to tomorrow night then. Goodnight". The Ruler Spirit said as she continued on down the hall and eventually turned left at the corner. Ai, Mai and Mii all closed the door the second the Ruler Spirit disappeared from view.
However, unknown to them all was that Ellen was nearby around the corner, clothed in her own robe and jacket. She had been there, spying on Tohka again, waiting for a chance to capture her. And now, this was the chance she had been waiting for. "This is Adeptus 1, I can confirm the target has entered the room". Ellen said with her left hand over the earpiece, before moving out of her hiding place and started heading over to the room's door. 'Roger. Shall we deploy the Bandersnatch?' The Arbatel's captain asked the Wizard for her approval to deploy the Bandersnatch units.
"Have three units outside the room just in case they're needed. Know that Master Sergeant Tobiichi is in there, too". Ellen replied, stopping in front of the door and began to push the sliding door open with her right hand. "Make sure that the range of territory-" The female Wizard continued, only to stop and widen her eyes just as a pillow was thrown into her face. 'Did the target notice me?' Ellen questioned inside her mind, right eye closed from the unexpected attack. She fell to the ground on her butt and gasped a little with both eyes closed.
She brought her right hand to her face and placed it there for a second, then lowered it. Ellen opened both eyes to look into the room and saw Ai, Mai and Mii looking down at her with surprised expressions and pillows in their hands. "Ellen? Where in the world did you come from?" Mai asked in surprise to see the adult woman here.

Things were continuously getting worse for Shido because the Yamai twins had pulled him down under the covers and were attempting to undress him. Ratatoskr's main operative was crying out as he tried with all his might to keep Kaguya and Yuzuru from removing his clothing. "Stop moving, it's hard to undress you!" Kaguya exclaimed, trying to pull off Shido's robe and sash he had managed to tie around himself again. "Agreed. You're acting like a little baby going night-night". Yuzuru commented, also trying to remove the robe and sash with the two twins unintentionally helping each other.
Kaguya and Yuzuru managed to remove the robe and threw it into the air with Shido screaming in embarrassment. Now all he had left were blue boxer shorts now, something that the twins had every intention of removing. Shido had turned over and was now grappling the bedsheets as if his very life depended on it. Kaguya and Yuzuru had grabbed hold of Shido's boxers and had already halfway pulled them down, the two comically growling as their bangs covered their eyes from view. Then, a flash of light appeared from their covered eyes, as if they were about to pounce on their pray.
Shido had tears forming at the edge of his eyes because he was now afraid of the Yamai twins and what their plans for him were. 'Now I'm really scared. Rinne...save me!' The Itsuka boy shouted out inside of his mind, pleading to whatever god that existed that he'd be saved form this cruel fate.
(With the girls of the class)
Inside of Ai, Mai and Mii's shared room, there was a pillow fight going on with two teams of just girls. Naturally, Tohka and Origami were on opposite teams, but they've forgotten about their goal of beating one another as they were having great fun with the pillow fight. Mai and Mii began to push a surprised Ellen into the room, while Ai waved her left hand up with a bright, excited smile. "Guys, Ellen wants to join in!" The blond-haired girl called out, much to her comical surprise at what she said.
"Hold on! I never said that!" DEM's strongest Wizard stated because she didn't want to be in something as childish as a pillow fight. Ai turned her head to grin at the older woman, while Tohka held up a pillow with her left fist up and Origami just stared at Ellen. "Bring it on! You guys are going down!" The Princess Spirit exclaimed with an excited smile. "You have a lot of nerve". Origami stated, before she and Tohka both threw pillows at them.
"Not a chance!" Ai cried out as she, Mai and Mii all got behind Ellen and used her as a human-shield. "Photographer barrier!" The trio's leader called out as the two pillows slammed into Ellen's face, Origami's one first and then Tohka's over it. DEM's Wizard collapsed to the ground with Ai, Mai and Mii staring down at her, the only sound coming from Ellen was her groaning.
(Back with Shido)
Kaguya and Yuzuru were almost about to remove Shido's last piece of clothing, while he still continued to hang into the bed sheets. Just then the sliding door opened, catching everyone's attention as they looked over to see who interrupted the twins, and saved Shido. To Shido's immense relief, it was Rinne, who had wide eyes upon seeing what state her boyfriend was in. For a few seconds, the Ruler Spirit wordlessly stared at Shido, Kaguya and Yuzuru with the three staring at her, until Rinne grew a deep frown at the Yamai twins.
"Get...OUT!" The Ruler Spirit shouted out, walking to the twins that have caused her boyfriend much trouble today. In just 10 seconds, she pulled the two Yamai twins off Shido, wrapped their robes around them and pushed Kaguya and Yuzuru out of the room. The twins stumbled on their feet, trying to regain their balance and did so. The two quickly turned around to face Rinne, who was standing right before them, still in the room with her left hand holding the sliding door, ready to close it at any moment.
"Hey! What's your problem?!" Kaguya glared at the pink-haired girl, before gulping at seeing the dangerous glint in Rinne's eyes. Even Yuzuzu grew a bit frightened of Rinne just from looking at her eyes. "You two have caused enough trouble for Shido today. You tricked him into the women's bath, where he had to fall off the cliff to get away, but that caused him to get a cold. And even when he's sick and needs rest, you two are still keeping at it and are willing to strip him down to nothing all for the sake of your competition?" Rinne said with a serious voice, almost sounding exactly when she was in her Ruler form.
Kaguya and Yuzuru began sweating like waterfalls, nervously because the vibe Rinne was giving off felt like she would eradicate them if they so much as utter a single word. "Enough is enough for today. Shido needs rest to get better, you both can wait until tomorrow to continue. And to make sure you two don't try anything else for the night, I'll be staying to keep an eye out. Now, good night". The Ruler Spirit said to the two as she closed the sliding down, leaving the two twins standing in the hallway.

Kaguya and Yuzuru were silent for a few moments, before they turned to look at one another and shivered. "W-What's say we take a break for tonight?" Kaguya suggested with a scared voice at the thought of getting into trouble with Rinne. "Agreed. Let's rest and think of what to do tomorrow". Yuzuru replied to her twin, a shiver of fear leaking out of Yuzuru's voice.
Just before the two could walk away, someone tapped their shoulders to catch their attention. The twins turned around to see Tamae standing behind them. Unlike the students, she wasn't in a robe and was instead still wearing the clothes she had on earlier in the day.
"Hello you two. Is Shido wake in there? I heard he had a fever and that miss Murasame gave him her room to rest in. Is he okay?" The rather short teacher asked the Spirits, curious to know if Shido was alright. Kaguya and Yuzuru gulped, before looking at each other through the corners of their eyes. They wordlessly agreed to not let Tamae inside to not suffer Rinne's wrath and just nodded to her.
Meanwhile inside the room, Rinne brought down her left hand and let out a tired sigh with both eyes closed. Shido sat up on the bed and looked towards his girlfriend with gratitude for her timely arrival. "Thanks Rinne, you really saved me there". The Itsuka boy thanked the Ruler Spirit, catching Rinne's attention as she opened her eyes.
She looked over to Shido and gave small smile at him. "You're welcome Shido. I honestly didn't think they'd do something like this, I'm sorry that I didn't stay to keep an eye out for you". Rinne said to the Itsuka boy, unable to believe how far those two girls went to win their competition.
"It's alright, don't worry about it. You've got no idea how relived I was when you stopped Kaguya and Yuzuru from undressing me". Shido said, causing Rinne to widen her eyes in realization and flush a bit. She let out an embarrassed cry, turned around and covered both eyes with her hands. Shido tilted his head in confusion at Rinne's actions, until his brain caught with the situation and cried in embarrassment with comical white eyes. It felt like déjà vu, like all those times Rinne walked in on Shido undressing in Eden, something that ended with them both embarrassed.
The Itsuka boy quickly got out of bed and put both his robe and sash back on. Once he tightened the sash around his waist, Shido turned to Rinne and saw that she was still facing the other way with both hands covering her eyes. "Rinne, I'm dressed again. You can look now". The blue-haired boy told his girlfriend, much to Rinne's relief as she let out a sigh and brought both hands down. She turned around and saw that true to his word, Shido was dressed again.
"How many times has that made it that I've seen you nearly naked now?" The Ruler Spirit asked with an amused voice, which Shido grumbled in response. "That reminds me, you always walked in on me at same time whenever I was changing. Why? You knew what was gonna happen, so why didn't you stop it from happening?" Shido questioned Rinne, thinking back to all the lives he's lived in Eden and how in each one, Rinne came in on him when he was changing in his room.
Instead of answer, Rinne just giggled in an innocent manner as she folded both hands behind her back. Shido raised an eyebrow at the Ruler Spirit, before giving a shrug of his shoulders. "I think it's been long enough that Kaguya and Yuzuru left and won't try anything else tonight. Get some good rest, you're gonna need it for tomorrow". The Ruler Spirit advised her boyfriend, bringing up her right hand and pulled the sliding door open. Shido groaned a bit with a sour face because he knew Rinne was right about that as he and Reine had already devised a plan in hopes of sealing the Spirit powers of Kaguya and Yuzuru.
The Ruler Spirit gazed at her boyfriend one last time for tonight and gave him a warm smile. "Goodnight Shido, sweat dreams". Rinne said with a soft voice, which Shido smiled at her. "Night Rinne, I'll see you tomorrow". The Itsuka boy replied to his girlfriend, right before Rinne left the room and closed the door behind her, leaving Shido alone to rest and recover for tomorrow.
(Aboard the Arbatel)
Despite it being late afternoon, the Arbatel's crew were still working. Right now, the monitor showed Arubi Island as the captain waited for Ellen's report. But for a while now, they haven't been able to contact her. "Any word from the chief?" Arbatel's commander questioned his subordinates, looking down at them. "We've heard nothing new". One subordinate answered his boss. "We're not detecting any movement, either". Another one reported, to the captain's slight annoyance as he crossed both arms.
"Bring the Bandersnatches back. We won't be making any progress tonight". The captain ordered, knowing that leaving the Bandersnatches out will risk losing their element of surprise. "Yessir!" The first subordinate responded to his boss. The captain stared at the monitor for a few minutes, before scowling. "Cheeky little brat..." He said in annoyance that their plans will have to be put on hold for now.
(Next day/ Play DATE A LIVE: Rio Reincarnation {OST} 07 Morning)
The morning of the new day was bright and sunny with little clouds in the sky. Shido, completely recovered from yesterday's cold, was sitting down in the sand in front of a different beach that the rest of his class were, watching the waves crash into the sand, then return to the ocean. He had blue swimming trunks on and the intercom in his right eye to communicate with Reine. 'All right. Let's review the plan'. The sleep deprived woman said to Shido from her side. "Okay". He sighed, still a bit tired from yesterday yet still willing to face today head on.
Reine was back in the hotel in her room. She had just taken a shover and was sitting down on a wooden chair in front of a circular table. She had a pink robe on, a red sash and small towel draped over her shoulders that she was using to dry her hair. She was also holding a tablet that allowed her to keep watch of Shido in her hands.
"We'll have the Spirit Berserk, that is to say the Yamai sisters Kaguya and Yuzuru spend today's free time with you at the private beach, where you are currently waiting. I'll tell them what to do. I've given them intercoms to make that happen". The adult woman told the boy, sitting with her right leg over the left and drying her hair's left side with the towel.
Back on Shido's side, he was still sitting down with his right hand over the intercom he had. 'The rest is up to you, Shin'. Reine told the teenager, which Shido gave a nod of the head. "Got it. From there, I just like, pretend I don't know about them and let them win me over?" The blue-haired boy asked to be certain of what Reine told him.
Switching over to Reine's side, she was still looking down at the tablet in her hands and drying her hair. "Exactly. If they understand and believe that all they have to do to make you fall for them is to follow my directions. I'll be able to control their actions to some extent, that's the idea". Ratatoskr's Analysis Officer told the young boy, temporarily stop drying her hair.
With Shido, his head was tilted down slightly with a slightly serious expression. "In other words, as long as everything goes the way you think, there's a chance we could seal both of them at the same time". The Itsuka boy summarized Reine's plan to handle the Beserker twins and hopefully seal them both. 'Correct. Judging by the girls' current dynamic, if you kiss one of them, there's no way to know how the other one will react, but the assumption is it won't be positive'. The sleep deprived woman told Shido, which he nodded in understanding.
Inside the hotel, Rinne stared down at her tablet as it showed perfect footage of Shido sitting down at the beach. "Communications with Fraxinus has not yet been restored. However, if we do not seal the elusive Yamai now, we may never get a second chance". Ratatoskr's Analysis Officer told the boy, pressing down on one of the tablet's buttons, resulting in the screen zooming in on Shido with two screens coming up to show Kaguya and Yuzuru changing into opposite coloured swimsuits. "So, we have to make our move. You realize there are many risks involved". Reine added, reminding Shido how dangerous it was to go at it alone.
Back on Shido's side, the Itsuka boy grew a small smirk at Reine's words. "Yes, I understand. But don't worry, I've learned a lot in my time in Eden thanks to all the times the world's been restarted. I'm confident that I can seal them without any fighting". Shido told the adult woman, before narrowing his eyes dangerously upon remembering what Kaguya and Yuzuru said yesterday.
'Thus, Yuzuru or I will become the new Yamai for there can be only one'. Shido remembered those words Kaguya said to him yesterday as she explained what will happen when one of them wins the competition. 'What happens to the personality that loses?' He remembered questioning the two, having no idea the terrible fate would befall the loser, one that he didn't wish upon anyone. 'It will cease to exist'. Kaguya's answer made Shido narrow both eyes in a serious manner. "I don't want that to happen to anyone ever again. I just hope that everything goes well". The Itsuka boy said to himself, hopping with all his heart that this'll end with neither Yamai girls being erased from existence.
In her room, Reine's eyes narrowed a bit upon hearing Shido's words. She knew he never wanted to be reminded of that terrible lost he experience, not that she could remember. "I believe in you. They're almost done changing. In order to avoid confusion, I'm gonna cut this line of communication for now". The sleep deprived woman told Shido, grabbing his attention.
Back on the beach, Shido blinked before nodding to his support. 'Don't forget to compliment them on their swimsuits'. Reine told the blue-haired boy, then cut the line between her and Shido. "Aha! So, this is where you've been hiding!" A familiar voice called out to Shido, accompanied by footsteps in the sand. Shido turned his head left in the direction that the voice came from, where he saw both twins.
Kaguya and Yuzuru were standing at the end of the staircase to the hotel, both posing in their swimsuits that were exactly like one another, only difference being the colour. Kaguya's one was black with white dots, while Yuzuru's was white and had black dots.
"Discovery: I have finally found you, Shido". Yuzuru said with her usual emotionless face. Shido climbed up to his feet and turned to face the Yamai twins. "Oh, hey there ladies. How ya doing?" The blue-haired boy greeted Kaguya and Yuzuru as they ran up and stopped in front of him. "Those swimsuits are incredible. You both look very pretty". He complimented Kaguya and Yuzuru with a bug smile, being honest since he really did find them to be breathless to look at.
Yuzuru blinked in surprise at Shido's words, while Kaguya blushed in embarrassment at what he said. "Y-yeah! You better believe it!" The blue swimsuit girl stuttered in embarrassment. "Acknowledged. Thank you for saying such kind words". The curvy figure Spirit thanked Shido, before both she and Kaguya turned away and brought their hands to the intercoms in their ears. "Right, understood and on it". Kaguya said to Reine through the intercom, catching Shido's attention as he watched both girls. "Dully noted. I understand as well". Yuzuru told her support, before she and her twin turned to face Shido.
Kaguya suddenly thrusted her right hand out to Shido, holding sunblock out to him. "Shido! I permit you to equip my epidermis with this holy-sky-beam-stopping veil of darkness!" The orange haired-girl told the teenage boy, while Yuzuru held up her own bottle of sunblock in a less dramatic way. "Request: would you please put sunblock onto me". Yuzuru requested, all the while Shido sweat dropped at both of them. "Uhhh... sunblock?" Shido questioned, which the twins nodded with their cheeks flushed a bit.

While all of that was going on on Arubi Island, things have been uneventful for Ratatoskr aboard Fraxinus. The "romance experts" were at their respective chairs, while Kannazuki was being his weird self because he was kneeling in front of Kotori's commander chair, rubbing his face and hands against it. "Ho, it's a choir to work up much enthusiasm when there's nothing to do. I did what cannot be undone and it counted on a good abusive scolding from the Commander and here I am, unabused and alone". The vice-commander of Ratatoskr said in comical agony with both cheeks flushed, snuggling against the chair.
The whole crew were watching Kannazuki suffer in his "misery". "And as expected, he's useless". Kyouji stated, a single bit of sweat going down the left side of his face from watching this. "If only Analysis Murasame was here instead of that". Kozue commented, wishing that Reine was in charge during Kotori's absence and not Kannazuki. "Maybe we should try contacting her later". Hinako suggested to her fellow romantic experts, before they all let out exhausted sighs as they wished their commander would return to them already.

Yoshino and Yoshinon were still in the same room as yesterday, sitting down in between the couch and table, watching another soap opera to pass the time. Right now, the TV showed an adult female undressing in her room. Right now, she unhooked her bra and began to remove it. The Hermit Spirit blushed a bit as she peaked through her right hand's fingers, continuing to watch while Yoshino just stared. "This is steamy...way steamy". The puppet stated, something that Yoshino nodded in agreement to.

Back with Shido, Kaguya and Yuzuru, the twins were now lying down beside one another on a blue beach blanket, their tops off to expose their backs to the Itsuka boy that was standing a little bit away from them with both sunblock bottles in hand. "Now Shido, I am turning my back to you with full trust. Don't let me down". Kaguya told the boy, looking over her left shoulder to him. "Request: please do this for me". Yuzuru requested, looking over her right shoulder to look at the blue-haired boy.
Shido was unable to keep his eyes from wondering all over the twins' bodies, a rather bad habit he's had ever since he first met Tohka and only gotten worse thanks to his time in Eden. The Itsuka boy gave a nervous smile at the two girls. "Yeah... Sure thing". Shido said with a nervous voice and slight blush. He then slightly frowned at them as he brought both bottles closer. "Let me take a wild guess; this means I have to touch them directly, doesn't it?" The boy questioned, growing more red at the thought of touching their bare skin.
Kaguya and Yuzuru looked away from Shido and brought their hands to the intercoms to speak with Reine. "Hey, Shido's not applying it! That is not what you said would happen". Kaguya told the adult woman with both eyes narrowed a little. "Inquiry: what am I doing incorrectly?" Yuzuru questioned, frowning a bit as Shido flinched. He quickly placed one sunblock bottle away and began to pour some onto his hand. "Okay, here I come". Shido told the Berserker Spirits, before slowly walking to them.
Kaguya suddenly smirked and chuckle as she brought down her right hand. She then grabbed hold of Yuzuru with her left hand and rolled on top of her, just as Shido started to get down on both knees. The Itsuka boy breathed out in surprise, looking towards Kaguya as she held a surprised Yuzuru down and looked over to him. "Okay Shido. Now, put that protection on my back". The orange-haired girl told the teenage boy, yet he didn't respond to her as his eyes were on both twins' breasts that were pressing against one another.
"Frustration: shoot!" Yuzuru cursed in frustration that she let her guard down like that. Shido was a stuttering mess, right hand twitching and left one squeezing the sunblock bottle because of the rather "hot" sight, unable to tear his eyes away. Kaguya grew an annoyed face at seeing Shido just staring at them, before letting out a frustrated breath. "Didn't you hear me?" She questioned the blue-haired boy, snapping him out of his trace. "Geez". Kaguya muttered as Shido came up to her and Yuzuru.
He started off by placing his sunblock covered right hand on Kaguya's back, but she suddenly let out a gasp at the feeling. Shido blinked in panic and moved his hand away. "Crap, I'm sorry. That was cold, wasn't it?" The Itsuka boy apologized to the blushing girl, which she quickly tried to regain her cool. "No...I'm perfectly fine. Keep going, don't stop". Kaguya told Shido, which he obeyed her. "W-Whatever you say". Shido stuttered, replacing his hand on Kaguya's back to spread the lotion.
Kaguya let out a moan at the feeling of Shido's hands on her back, something that made the teenage male's eyes twitch. 'She's...moaning?' Shido questioned inside his mind, honestly a bit surprised at how she was acting from feeling him placing sunblock on her. Kaguya continued to moan as Shido spread the lotion, but that was when Yuzuru saw an opportunity. "Counterattack". She said, before suddenly flipping Kaguya over with her now on top. Shido gasped in surprise as he took a few steps back, Kaguya grew an annoyed frown and Yuzuru looked at the human boy over her right shoulder.
"I saw an opening. Plea: Shido, give it to me now". Yuzuru pleaded to Shido, keeping Kaguya down by keeping a tight hold on her wrists. "Uhhh, right. I'm on it". Shido said in an uncertain voice, pouring more lotion to his right hand while Yuzuru looked down at Kaguya's annoyed face. He got closer to Yuzuru and placed his lotion covered hand on her back, before starting to spread it out. Yuzuru let out a cry, looking upwards with a blush. "Cold: oh my. Ahhh". She gasped out, then moaned as Shido spread the location further across her back.
'I'm starting to think that before today, these two never went to the beach before'. The Itsuka boy thought to himself, unsure how to feel at how Kaguya and Yuzuru moaned just from him applying sunblock on their backs. Yuzuru moaned out loudly, throwing her head back and lifting her body from Kaguya's, something that made Shido pale a bit. "Ummm...you okay?" He questioned the girl, eyes covered by his bangs.
"Wonderful, yes. You are very good at that. Thank you". Yuzuru answered, looking over to Shido with a breathless face. Kaguya looked a bit surprised at how her twin was acting, then frowned at her. "No fair! I get to be next!" She complained, then attempted to spin on top of Yuzuru. The two began to wrestle, spinning around sideways on the blanket with Shido watching them. "Alert: I will not allow it". Yuzuru stated, refusing to allow Kaguya to be on top again. "Oh yeah? What are you going to do?" Kaguya questioned, before they suddenly stopped.
They let go of each other and lied down on the blanket, once again showing their backs to Shido. They glanced over to Shido, who got the unspoken message for him to continue. "I guess that I'll..." The blue-haired boy said nervously, pouring more lotion onto his right hand. He then placed the bottle down, brought both hands together and rubbed them as he went up to both Spirits. He then placed both hands down on Kaguya and Yuzuru's backs, causing them to moan out with flushed faces.
A little later, Shido finished applying the sunblock on the Spirits. Kaguya was lying down on her right side, while Yuzuru was still lying forward, both girls panting from the rather remarkable way Shido applied sunblock on them. Shido stared down at them with wide eyes, questioning himself if he went a bit too far. "Ummm, are you two alright?" He asked the Beserker twins in concern.
Kaguya looked up at the human boy in almost disbelief. "He doesn't know how good he is at all?" She remarked, unable to believe how good he was at pouring sunblock with his hands, having no idea that Shido had some experience with this kind of things.
"Tremble: God-like fingers. He's such a wolf". Yuzuru said with a breathless voice, getting Shido to sweat drop a bit. 'Huh... Guess I got a little bit too good at pouring sunblock from the many times I did it for Tohka, Origami and Kurumi back in Eden. Maybe next time I could do it for Rinne'. The Itsuka boy, thinking back to the many times he did this for Tohka, Origami and Kurumi in the lives where he ended up with them.
(Meanwhile)
On another beach that was close by to the private one, all the students of class 2 - 4 were enjoying themselves. All of the girls were wearing swimsuits and guys, swimming trunks. Among them were Rinne, Tohka and Origami with all three girls wearing their signature swimsuit. Tohka was wearing the purple swimsuit that she wore before at the water park, Origami had her white one that she bought and Rinne wore the pink bikini top and bottom Shido rebought for her.
Right now, Tohka and Rinne were walking together because the Princess Spirit was searching for Shido while the Ruler Spirit was following Tohka to keep her company. The Princess Spirit look right first, then left as she continued walking down the sandy road with Rinne right behind her. "Tohka, I'm certain Shido's fine. Let's just enjoy ourselves and have fun". The former ruler of Eden said to her friend, gesturing to the water with her right hand.
Rinne actually knew where her boyfriend was and what he was doing right now, so she knew that he had to focus on Kaguya and Yuzuru without any distractions. But Tohka seemed determined to have fun only when Shido was around. Rinne honestly understood her desire as she too wanted to enjoy a nice day at the beach with him, but sealing Kaguya and Yuzuru came first.
Tohka looked at Rinne past her right shoulder as she continued walking. "I honestly can't, Rinne. Not without Shido". The Princess Spirit told her friend, before facing forward again. Rinne's expression fell a bit at Tohka's words, before she stopped in her tracks. She silently stared at the purple-haired girl for a few moments, before speaking. "Tohka...do you not have faith in Shido?" Rinne questioned Tohka, causing the Princess Spirit to widen her eyes in shock and stop in her tracks.

The Princess Spirit turned around and stared at Rinne like she had grown a second head. "R-Rinne, what are you saying? Of course I have faith in Shido". Tohka stuttered, taken aback at what the Ruler Spirit had just said. Rinne slightly narrowed her eyes at her friend, then folded her arms with the left one over the right. "Then, why did you panic a week ago? Why did you think Shido would leave us?" Rinne questioned her friend once more. Shido had told her about what happened on that day a week ago when Tohka lost control of her powers at thinking he'd leave them.
The Princess Spirit flinched at the reminder of that day, and the trouble she caused for Shido. "I-I just saw Yoshino's soap opera, and I just-" Tohka began, only to be cut off by Rinne. "It was just a soap opera. Shido would never leave us behind because he cares about all of us. It's natural to be worried about someone you care about, but you also need to have faith in them as well. You let your imagination run wild and acted purely on emotion without any faith in him". The Ruler Spirit told Tohka with an disappointed face. It was honestly like Rinne had swapped her personality with Ruler right now.
Tohka lowered her head, wordlessly staring down at the sand in guilt. She didn't deny Rinne's words because they were true. She just panicked, lost all sense of thinking and just acted on emotions. And because of that, she put Shido in great danger that almost ended with him dying. "I'm sorry..." She muttered, yet Rinne heard it perfectly and softened her expression. "I'm not the one you need to apologize to". The Ruler Spirit told Tohka, before walking right up and placed both hands on Tohka's shoulders.
Tohka raised her head to look up at Rinne in confusion, while she gave a gentle smile at the Princess Spirit. "Do you love Shido enough to be his support? Start by having faith in him". Rinne told her friend, getting Tohka to tilt her head in confusion. "Love? Of course I love Shido, just like I love food". The Princess Spirit told her friend, causing the Ruler Spirit to giggle a little with both eyes closed. "Tohka, the love I'm talking about is different. It's romantic love, the kind you feel for a special person in your life. It's the kind of love that I have for Shido, and the kind he has for me, you and the others". Rinne told her friend, yet Tohka still just looked confused by her words.
Letting out a small sigh at Tohka unable to understand what she meant, Rinne decided to go with another tactic. "Then how about this? Tohka, would you marry someone else than Shido?" Rinne questioned, which the Princess Spirit shook her head sideways immediately with a deep frown. "No way! The only person I wanna marry is Shido!" Tohka exclaimed with conviction, having no desire to marry anyone else than Shido.
Rinne gave a satisfied smile at Tohka's words. "I'm glad to hear that. You may not understand now, but you love Shido too. That's why, have faith that he'll never leave you. I'm sure he'd appreciate it, knowing that he has your faith in him". The Ruler Spirit told Tohka, lifting her hands off of Tohka's shoulders and took a step back. The Princess Spirit smiled brightly and nodded to Rinne. But then for some strange reason, she stared at Rinne without a word for a few moments, getting the pink-haired girl to tilt her head in confusion.
"Is something wrong, Tohka?" Rinne asked with a confused voice, but didn't get a response from Tohka because she continued to stare at her fellow Spirit. "...You're really amazing, Rinne". The Princess Spirit stated, much to Rinne's further confusion as she blinked at her. "Eh?" Rinne said in confusion, wondering what her friend was talking about. "You're kind, caring, help out around the house, look after Yoshino and me and don't cause trouble for Shido. I'm nothing like you, someone that can help make Shido's life easier when all I do is make it harder for him". The Princess Spirit said with a sad voice.
Rinne widened her eyes at Tohka's words, but just as she opened her mouth to speak, Tohka continued. "I really wish that I was like you. Someone who knew exactly how to help Shido and take care of the others". The pink-haired girl said with longing in her voice. Rinne closed her mouth and stared at Tohka for a few moments. She then smiled at her fellow Spirit in a caring manner. "Tohka, I learned how to be good with helping Shido from watching you, Kotori, Yoshino and Origami. It's because of all of you that I'm the person that I am today". The Ruler Spirit told her friend, then gently pat Tohka's head similar to how Shido does it.
"I can teach you to be better, but there's no need to change who you are. You're perfect just the way you are". Rinne said, retracting her hand and then brought both hands together behind her back and smiled at Tohka. The Princess Spirit widened both eyes at Rinne's words, before smiling brightly at her. "Thanks Rinne!" Tohka thanked the pink-haired girl, really touched by her words. Rinne's smile brightened at her friend's thanks, before unexpectedly turning sad.
"Besides, there's things you can do that I can't". Eden's former ruler stated, filling Tohka with confusion at what she said. Rinne turned around and looked out across the ocean, admiring its beauty and the sun's reflection. "You can call upon your powers as a Spirit whenever you want to protect Shido, but I can't. When it matters most, I can't protect him like you and the others, or like how I used to back in Eden. All I can do is provide support". Rinne said with a sad voice, bringing up her left hand then stared down at it.
Rinne wished with all her heart to live a normal life, but above all protect Shido like how she used to. But without her powers as Ruler, she could do nothing to protect him. As Ruler, she was perhaps the most powerful Spirit there was. She was easily able to defeat Tohka, Origami, Yoshino, Kotori and even Kurumi, but now she couldn't call upon her power. She might as well be called the weakest Spirit right now.
Tohka stared at her friend with sad eyes for a few moments, before growing a determined look. She went right up to Rinne's left side and took her left hand with her right one, catching Rinne's attention as she looked at Tohka. "Cheer up, you haven't lost your Spirit powers. Before you know it, you'll have them back". The Princess Spirit said with a cheerful voice, getting Rinne to smile in appreciation. "Thank you. And hopefully seeing me as Ruler will unlock your memories. I hope the day comes soon". Rinne said with a hopeful voice, looking forward to the day everyone's memories are restored.

Tohka let go let of Rinne's hand, before the Ruler Spirit turned to face her. "Tohka, if you promise to be on your best behavior, I'll help you look for Shido". Rinne told the purple-haired girl, much to Tohka's delight as she let out an excited gasp. "Really?" Tohka asked, which Rinne nodded to her. "Okay, I promise I'll be good". The Princess Spirit promised to the Ruler Spirit, which she gave a nod of approval at.
"Okay, follow me". Eden's ruler told her fellow Spirit, then began walking down the beach with Tohka excitedly following her. However, that was when they spotted Origami walking towards them, her head turned to the side as if she were searching for something. The two Spirits and Origami stopped in front of each other, Tohka and the AST girl staring at one another with narrowed eyes. 'I have little doubt that Origami is searching for Shido as well'. Rinne thought to herself, certain Origami was looking for the Itsuka boy.
Tohka and Origami huffed, before the AST girl continued on and walked past the Spirits. Rinne spared a glance over her right shoulder at Origami, before facing forward and continued on with Tohka right behind her. Unknown to them was that Ellen was spying on Tohka through her camera from nearby boulders. She was wearing a white bikini top and bottom, and a black jacket with pink lines.
The DEM Wizard lowered her camera, then sighed and closed her eyes in frustration upon remembering last night. "I can't believe what happened last night". She stated, thinking back to last night on how she got dragged into a pillow fight. The students throwing pillows at each other and enjoying themselves, Mai holding a "defeated" Mii in her arms and screaming out her name. Her and Ai gave each other the thumbs up as they said "yay!". And Tohka and Origami literally clashed their pillows against one another. And finally, all of them falling asleep with Ellen sleeping next to Tohka.
Ellen couldn't believe she was caught up in something as childish as that last night, but she honestly enjoyed herself. It brought back memories of a time long passed, of her and her sister when they were younger. Ellen shook her head sideways to rid herself of those thoughts to focus on the mission. "Ooh, there he is!" Tohka called out, grabbing Ellen's attention as she looked to see Rinne and Tohka atop a rock in the water with Origami climbing up after them. "Follow me, Tohka". The Ruler Spirit told her friend, before jumping off of the rock and dived into the water.
Tohka held up arms up, then laughed happily as she jumped after Rinne and dived into the water. At that moment, Origami reached the top of the rock, held both hands up and jumped in after the two Spirits. Ellen began to stand up, bringing her left hand to her earpiece. "Arbatel, the target is now on the move. Can you follow her?" DEM's strongest Wizard questioned the crew of the Arbatel ship. 'She seems to be heading to a private beach, point 8 kilometers northwest of your current location'. A single member of the crew informed Ellen, telling her where Tohka was heading.
"Then I will head in that direction". Ellen stated, running out of her hiding spot and in the direction to the private beach. "Please have the Bandersnatch follow-" She continued, only to cry out in surprise upon falling into a hidden pit-fall trap. She shut both eyes and brought her hands over the mouth, before hearing laughter directed at her. "Haha! Wow, we so got you Ellen". A familiar voice remarked, catching Ellen's attention. She turned and glared at the three responsible for the pit-fall trap. "Why would you do that?" She questioned the trio of Ai, Mai and Mii.
They were all wearing swimsuits, all with different colours. Ai's was red, Mai's purple and Mii had blue and black and had a skirt. The three girls were leaning forward, looking down at the adult woman with amused smiles. "Because it's never not hilarious! I can't believe we got you again!" Mai answered Ellen's question loudly. "That's so lame". Mii said her catchphrase, just as amused as her friends. "I'm sorry, I don't have time to play around. I have to go". Ellen told the three, starting the process of climbing out of the pit-fall.
"Whatever, girl. And since you're already there..." Ai began, the eyes of her, Mai and Mii closed in a mischievous way. Ellen looked worried about what sort of crazy plan they have in mind now, then in a few minutes later, she had an anime annoyed look. The reason why was because the trio buried her in the sand with Tonomatchi, making sand figures around their necks. Ellen had a dominatrix with boots and whip in hand, while Tonomatchi was on both hands and knees, wearing nothing but his underwear and a leash on the neck with Ellen's figure pulling on it.
The DEM Wizard let out an annoyed huff, while the idiotic boy smiled brightly. "I know you must think that it's fate that we've been buried here together like this, but I already have a phone-girlfriend. But being all buried and everything, I can't exactly bring her out to show you". Tonomatchi told Ellen, turning to look at her with his teeth sparkling. 'What even made you think I wanted to see that in the first place?!' The adult woman shouted inside her mind, teeth gritted and an angry mark on her head. She looked away to the side to ignore the teenage boy, suddenly wishing she hadn't been assigned to this mission.
(On the private beach/ Play DATE A LIVE: Rio Reincarnation {OST} 07 Morning)
"I understand!" Tohka called out with a bright smile and both hands on her hips. She, Rinne and Origami had managed to "find" the private beach where Shido, Kaguya and Yuzuru were and had swum over to them. Right now, she, Rinne and Origami were standing in front of the Itsuka boy and Berserker Spirits with Shido having just told her why they were here in the first place.
"It's simply a coincidence that you guys were out here all by your lonesome". The Princess Spirit added, getting Shido to nervously chuckle while Rinne giggled. "You bet. That's what happened for sure". Shido said with both eyes closed in a nervous manner, while Kaguya hummed and nodded to Tohka. "Yes, that's my kinswoman Tohka. Hastening to her master's side, very nicely done". The orange-haired girl praised Tohka, getting Rinne to blink at what she said.
Before she could question Kaguya, Yuzuru spoke up at that moment, looking at Origami with a hint of excitement in her eyes. "Good work. Wonder: I did not think Master Origami would ever come to a place like this". She said with a small smile, catching Shido's attention as he looked over to her. "Kinswoman? Master?" He questioned in small surprise to learn that Tohka and Origami were who they were talking about last night.
"Yes, she seemed to have a bright future. So, we performed a baptism of darkness yesterday, and exchanged bonds". Kaguya explained how Tohka became her kinswoman yesterday when they met in a room and got along very well. "Information: awestruck by my master's skill, I became her disciple". Yuzuru informed, remembering meeting Origami yesterday and being taught by her. "Wow... it's a bit surprising to hear all of that happened when I took care of my errand". Rinne said in surprise, having been busy at that point of time yesterday with a task Tamae gave her.
"Now that I think about it, it seemed a bit obvious with what you two tried yesterday. I can't believe I didn't figure it out that you guys were talking about Tohka and Origami". Shido commented, surprised himself at how the twins have bonded with Tohka and Origami. "Moving on, what were the three of you doing together?" Origami questioned the three, something that made Shido begin to sweat nervously while Rinne grew a worried expression. "Uhhh... Well, that's a funny story actually". The Itsuka boy said with a nervous voice, thinking fast to come up with an explanation that won't set Tohka and Origami off.
"I thought we could play a little beach volleyball". A familiar voice said, accompanied by the sounds of the sand shifting, catching everyone's attention as they looked to see Reine standing a few feet behind Shido and the Berserker twins. Even she was now wearing a light blue and silver strap bikini top and bottom, plus a white jacket. Her small, almost torn up teddy bear was sticking out in between her breasts, and she was holding up a volleyball. "Reine!" Shido called out in surprise to see her here and not inside anymore.
The adult woman gave the girls a box to draw straws, while she and Shido chatted a few feet away from them. "Why did you show up like that? I'm confused". Shido questioned the sleep deprived woman, having been under the assumption she'd watch from the hotel. "Since Tohka, Rinne and Origami are here, we needed to change the original plan we had discussed". The adult woman told the boy as the girls all drew their straws from the box, all of which had a picture of a man.
"Now you, Kaguya and Yuzuru will strengthen your bonds by playing on the same team and working together". Reine told Shido, before turning to look at Rinne, Tohka and Origami with all three of them staring at the straws in their hands.
"Gregor, Spencer, and Jackson are on this side". The sleep deprived woman told the three since they were a team because of the straws they drew, before turning to look at Shido, Kaguya and Yuzuru. "Alexander, Abraham, and Anothony are on the other court". Reine told them, something that made Shido stare at her in confusion. 'What's she talking about?' The blue-haired boy questioned inside his mind, while Rinne stared at Reine with wide eyes of wonder. 'She's very good at adapting to the situation. To quickly come up with something like this in such short notice is really amazing'. The Ruler Spirit thought, admiring Reine's quick adapting due to her, Tohka and Origami getting involved.
Everyone soon set up the field and net. The two teams were on opposite sides. Reine, on the other hand, was lying down on a wooden sunlounge with her jacket off. "I wonder if this'll work. I don't think Kaguya and Yuzuru will do well together. For that matter, neither will Tohka and Origami. But something tells me that Rinne can easily fix that problem". Shido said with a gulp, looking towards his girlfriend on the opposite side as she and Origami stretched their arms out. Everyone then took position, and the game began.
"Don't worry about that". Reine told Shido through the intercom as Tohka tossed the ball into the air, leaped up in front of it and punched the ball with her Spirit strength with a battle cry. The ball shot through the air, flying past Shido and smashed into the sand, creating a small cloud due to the impact. "Rinne told them that if they work together and win, she'd tell them something important about you. She actually intends to tell them something that happened between them, Yoshino and Kotori in Eden". The sleep deprived woman added, Shido looking over to the ball as a smoke trail appeared above it. Tohka cheered at scorning a point and Rinne smiled nervously.
Shido turned his head to look over to his girlfriend on the opposite team, having an idea what Reine meant about Rinne's promise to Tohka and Origami. 'Does Rinne intend to tell them about that talk they had at the public path when the power went out?' The Itsuka boy questioned, thinking back to the day in Eden where the girls; Rinne, Tohka, Yoshino, Origami and Kotori all talked about their feelings for him. He didn't know much as he only heard the end of it where Rinne told the girls about her feelings for him, so it was probably something he didn't need to worry about.
The game continued on with the team of Tohka, Rinne and Origami dominating the whole thing, while Kaguya and Yuzuru argued with each other as every time they tried to make a counterattack, they bumped into each other and ruined their attempts. "What are you doing, Yuzuru?" Kaguya demanded from her twin as they clashed into each other yet again. "Rebuttal: that's my line. Don't get in my way, Kaguya". The curvy figure Spirit shot back at her twin as Tohka punched the ball at them again.
The twins clashed into each other once more, while Shido jumped out of the way as he didn't want to get hit. "What do you mean? You're in my territory! Don't overstep your bounds!" Kaguya snapped at her twin as this time, Rinne took her turn with the ball. Unlike Tohka's throwing that was filled with power and speed, hers was just speed. Despite not having her strength as a Spirit, Rinne was proving to be good at this as her strikes were just as fast as Tohka's.
"Rebuttal: I didn't think dimwitted Kaguya would make it in time". Yuzuru mocked her twin as the ball passed through them in just a split second before they bumped into each other again. "What did you say to me?!" Kaguya exclaimed, both her and Yuzuru now glaring at each other, teeth gritted and eyes narrowed with just a single inch in between them. Shido watched the twins argue and moved in to peacefully resolve this.
"H-hey, calm down girls. Calm down". The blue-haired boy said to the girls in an effort to calm them down. Rinne, Tohka and Origami watched the two arguing twins with the Princess Spirit having a smirk with both hands on her hips. "All they do is fight. I don't think they're going to be very difficult to defeat". Tohka said with confidence that her team will be victories. "I'm disappointed. They don't know their place if they think they can beat us while acting like that". Origami remarked, agreeing with Tohka on the part that they're gonna be easy to beat.
"Don't relax just yet, you two. Overconfidence could be the cause of your defeat when facing either a powerful foe, or unknown enemy. You need to stay on your guard at all times". Rinne warned her friends from her spot in between them. She knew what she was saying because whenever Shido and his chosen partner came to Eden's core on their own, they were overconfident and certain that they could handle it. They learned the hard way from her how much of a mistake it was to let your guard down against an enemy.
At that moment, Reine got up from the wooden sunlounge and came up close to the team of girls. "Trash-talk them more. That's how it's done in America". The sleep deprived woman told the three younger girls, causing Rinne to grow a nervous smile with both eyes closed in a similar manner. 'I...don't think that's a good idea when they can blow us all away if they get angry'. Eden's ruler thought, thinking it would be best to not anger them. Tohka and Origami blinked at Reine, before the Princess Spirit grinned brightly.
"Kaguya's a wimp, and Yuzuru's a klutz! Talk about a clueless pair!" Tohka called out with a smug face, grabbing both twins' attention. "You (bang), go (bang), each other's (bang). You losers don't deserve any better". Origami told Kaguya and Yuzuru, Rinne's eyes becoming shadowed by her bangs with both cheeks flushing bright red. 'Who taught Origami that kind of language in the first place? That's not something a high school girl should be saying'. The Ruler Spirit said inside her mind, disturbed greatly by what Origami just said.
The Yamai twins turned to face the opposite team with serious faces at hearing their insults, neither of them paying attention to Shido behind him as he blinked. "Well Yuzuru, shall we?" Kaguya said to her twin, looking at Yuzuru through the corner of her left eye. "Agreement. Let's do it". Yuzuru responded, ready to go from playing easy to playing serious.
The game resumed with Tohka having the ball again. She threw it into the air, jumped up and punched it at the opposite team. It ended up striking Shido right in the face, blasting him off his feet. The Itsuka boy cried out in surprise pain with everyone staring at him in surprise that he got hit, well more like Tohka, Rinne and Origami, while the ball went up into the air. "Nice Shido!" Kaguya praised the blue-haired boy, mistaking that as Shido blocking the ball. "Kaguya! Setup now!" Yuzuru called out to her twin, catching Kaguya's attention as she looked over to Yuzuru.
"Understood!" The orange-haired girl exclaimed, running over to Yuzuru and jumped into her waiting brought together hands. Upon landing in her hands, Yuzuru threw Kaguya in the air with her jumping off of Yuzuru's hands. Kaguya made it high enough to be in front of the ball. She let out a fierce cry as she reared her right arm back, then slammed it into the ball, shooting it past Tohka, Rinne and Origami and crashing into the sand, kicking up a big gust of wind that blew all three girls' hair. Rinne and Tohka had amazed faces, before looking over to the twins just as Kaguya landed safely on the ground.
'Amazing. That was incredible teamwork that they showed just now. A team could only do that if they trusted each other completely, so seeing them when they were arguing just a few seconds ago do it, is remarkable'. The Ruler Spirit thought, starting to think there was more to the Yamai sisters than she first thought.
Kaguya and Yuzuru began to cheer, spin and run around in joy at scorning a goal finally. "Alright, did you see that?!" Kaguya laughed out in joy at scorning a point. "Delight: yahoo!" Yuzuru called out in joy, before she and Kaguya double high five each other. "That was perfect, Yuzuru". The braided hairs-tyle twin praised her sister as they brought their hands together and spun around. "I went straight up!" She added, overcome with joy to think about their contest.
"Agreement: Excellent job, Kaguya". Yuzuru praised her twin, both of them grabbing each other's hands and leaned their faces closer to one another with bright smiles. "Come on now, that was all your-" Kaguya spoke, only to stop as both she and Yuzuru blinked in realization of their actions. They cried out and jumped away from each other and turned away. "I, mean don't get too excited, pion. You should be grateful I allowed my feet to step on you". The braided-hair style twin insulted the second Berserker Spirit, embarrassed of her actions just now.
"Nasty. Now my hands are extremely smelly. They stink, you know what it reminds me of? The smells of old dried and fermented fish". Yuzuru insulted Kaguya back, blushing in embarrassment as well. "My feet don't smell like that!" Kaguya snapped at the second Berserker twin, neither of them paying attention to the staring faces of Rinne, Tohka, Origami and Reine as they watched the two.
Unknown to the Berserker twins was that Shido was also watching them from his spot on the ground. He had witnessed how they acted in joy at scorning a point, the care they had for one another and knew that something was up with them. 'Two people that hate each other wouldn't act like that. It just showed that they care for one another, so why are they competing in a contest that'll end with one of them erased? Just what are Kaguya and Yuzuru really after?' The Itsuka boy questioned inside his mind, climbing back up to his feet.
He continued to watch the Berserker Spirits as they continued to insult one another. That little display had just brought up more questions for Shido, ones that he'll hopefully learn the answers soon.

"Of a hero who left home to save you".
The screen started off as pure black, before slowly lighting up to reveal the night sky full of bright stars. The camera started going downwards, eventually showing the back of Shido, in school uniform with Sandalphon held in his right hand, standing on a light blue ground. The camera zoomed in and shifted around to show Shido's face as he opened his eyes, with the night sky around him transforming into a sunset sky with clouds. Shido tilted his head up to look out across the sea towards the rising sun in the distance.
He continued to look out across the distance, before the sunlight from the rising sun soon blinded the camera.
"From a land of fairy tales, a hero set off on a journey".
The screen changed to show Shido standing in the park where he and Tohka went on their first date in front of the wooden railing. He had his head tilted down with both eyes closed as he held Sandalphone down with both hands and the tip pointing down. The gem on Sandalphone was radiating light from the sunlight on it. Yoshinon came into view, spun around and then smiled at the camera as she closed in and came over the screen.
"Passing through the grassy plains to find his princess".
Once Yoshinon left the screen, it changed to show Shido now at Arubi Island standing atop the large green hill that had a view of the whole island and even the ocean, still in the same position as before. Then, Tohka came into view with a big smile on her face. She gave a happy expression at the camera as she closed in and came over the screen.
"Overcoming pitch black caves and stormy mountains".
Once Tohka left the screen, it changed to show Shido standing atop a skyscraper's rooftop in the late afternoon, still in the same position. The sky was dark, had a few stars and clouds visible with DEM's Japanese branch building close by. Rinne appeared and gave a gentle smile at the camera, before closing in and came over the screen.
The screen then changed when Origami left, now showing Tengu Square with Shido not too far from the building, holding Sandalphone down still.
"His sword held high".
Sandalphone then came up from below and came overview in the camera with its gem flashing for a brief second, before disappearing to reveal a patch of grass with a dark background. The camera moved across to the right, eventually showing Shido kneeling on the ground on his left knee, holding a stabbed to the ground Sandalphone with its gem providing a bright light with a blue flame on his left cheek.
"The flames of courage burns in his eyes".
The blue flames eventually died down into nothing, before Shido opened his closed eyes and lifted his head up. He faced forward, before getting up on his feet out of view.
"I'll cast of the clutches of darkness and take your hand in mine".
A familiar right hand, belonging of that of a certain Ruler Spirit, reached out with Shido's left hand reaching out towards it as well. The two hands then gently grabbed hold of one another in a finger lock. From within the connected hands a light appeared that grew so much stronger and blinded the screen.
"Always with my sword in hand".
The screen changed to night sky full of stars with the camera slowly moving down a black and red sword. On the left side of the camera beside the sword, the Yamai sisters first appeared in their Astral Dress. They then disappeared and were replaced with Kotori in her commander outfit, licking a lollypop.
"I'll break through the darkness to find you".
Kotori then disappeared and on the right side, Miku appeared with a smile directed at the camera. She was then replaced by Yoshino and Yoshinon staring at the camera with bright faces with the puppet waving her left hand. The two disappeared, before Kurumi appeared in front of the blade, smiling deviously as she held her pistol with her right hand at the camera.
"No matter how hard it is, I won't ever give up".
Kurumi disappeared with the black and red sword disappearing from sight. Then, two familiar Spirits appeared at the left and right side of the camera. On the left side was Tohka, but she was wearing a more revealing Astral Dress, half of her hair changed colours to white and now her eyes were a mixture of amber and indigo. Her expression was different from her usual happy one, as if she were a completely different person.
On the right side was Ruler in her Astral Dress, staring directly at the camera from behind her veil with both arms folded. She had her mouth open a little bit with her braids looking as if they were blowing in the breeze. The two Spirits then slowly disappeared from sight.
"So come and take my hand".
"The eternal flames of courage (Dead or Alive)".
"Fills the world with light".
A little girl, around Yoshino's height, came up into view. She had deep pink eyes, long plum hair that reaches to her legs. The girl's hair was tied with one single braid and has a bow at the top of her head. She was wearing a lavish pinkish-red dress with a gold emblem on the center. The dress also contained a large robe that reaches her feet. Finally, she had a pair of black panty hose with strappy low red heeled shoes with an ankle strap with pink detailing and small wing shaped straps on the side.
She smiled happily with both eyes closed at the camera, then twirled around on her right leg with the robe flowing out. The girl stopped twirling around to face the camera and waved both hands with a happy expression as she slowly faded away.
Flames appeared out of nowhere from below the night sky and burned bright, before briefly covering the camera completely. It quickly died out to reveal Shido, Rinne and Tohka, all in school uniform, standing besides one another at the edge of a cliff of the ocean with a few grass covered rocks with flowers behind them, looking across the distance to the rising sun, brining another day for them.

Chapter complete and done. Anyway, I did episode 2 and half of 3 of season 2, because I wanna get the Yamai arc finished with as quickly as possible. Anyway, next story to get updated is one I have not done in a while so please be patient until then.
Before I go, I've got a curious question to ask. In her Spirit form as Ruler, does Rinne get taller or something because she looked like it. I'm asking out of curiosity, so if anyone knows the answer please tell me. For now, see ya later.
