When I was finally done relishing in my victory, I picked up my vest, collected my loot and began to climb back up our battle site. Its indescribable but somehow the battle and the I-Rex's death might've changed me. Facing opponents that vastly outclassed you and surviving them was the hallmark of every great shinobi. Hashirama and the other first four Kages, Tobirama and Madara before their ultimate battle, Hiruzen and both of Iwa's Jinchuriki and Mu, even the Sannin going up against Hanzo. The greatest Shinobi grew from overcoming adversity and surviving the impossible. When I reached the door to the lab, I saw my little buddy thumping at the door trying to get to me. Opening the door, I could barely brace myself as she charged at me and leapt straight into my chest causing me to fall on my ass. She didn't stop there though as she hurriedly moved toward my face and began nuzzling it in affection. The little shit was adorable, and I loved how much she adored me. Picking her I headed back into the lab to get a look at everything.
Most of the lab was destroyed, and papers and files were everywhere. Walking around all the flipped over tables and destroyed equipment I really couldn't find anything of interest. Anky and I just continued to walk through the lab. Eventually, I found my way to what seemed like a restricted area. Hmmm, probably Dr. Wu's private lab. Charging up some of the small amount of chakra I had I punched the doors open, which must've amused Anky who began happily wiggling. "Huh, you like that buddy?" Anky gargling happily. Walking through I found exactly what I was looking for. Incubators.
Walking up to the computers I found multiple species, in which I was interested. If I could raise these things and properly teach them chakra manipulation, they could be serious threats on the battlefield. Searching through the catalog, I found the ones I was looking Allosaurus, Ankylosaurus, Atrociraptor, Baryonyx, Brachiosaurus, Carnotaurus, Corythosaurus, Iguanodon, Mosasaurus, Pachycephalosaurus, Parasaurolophus, Pteranodon, Pyroraptor, Quetzalcoatlus, Sinoceratops, Spinosaurus, Stegosaurus, Therizinosaurus, Triceraptops, Tyrannosaurus, Utahraptor and Velociraptor. Typing in some keys I found at least 8 frozen eggs from each species and had them marked to be brought to me. I watched as the machines lit up and watch as several machines went to collect the eggs and put them into an incubator. I also put my two Tyrannosaurus eggs in as well.
I began to walk around again. Wu's lab was vastly different than any of the other buildings I had been in. It was much cleaner and none of the tables or equipment had been knocked over. Looking around I went deeper into the lab, eventually finding another restricted area. Anky began wiggling in excitement again and I chuckled at her amusement with the whole ordeal. I punched the door like the last one and watched as the doors flew of the handles. Walking through the doors I found an entirely different lab. This one like the one from Wu's videos. Going up to a computer I began searching through the database, and I found what I had really been searching for, the hybrids.
Typing into the computer I found that only seven species were still viable; Stegoceratops, Indoraptor, Indominus Rex, Sino-Spinoceratops, Ankyntrosaurus, Malusaurus and Erildominus. Four eggs each, one male, and three females. I hesitated. The non-hybrid raptors I could manage, the Indoraptors I could also probably manage, but the Indominus Rex and Malusaurus had notes that said they were extremely aggressive. Having fought the Indominus I wasn't sure I was strong enough to raise four of them. Sighing to myself I decided to get them all. If I were to become a stronger shinobi, I needed to be able to tackle any challenge, and besides by the time these things hatched I'm sure I'd be much stronger, strong enough to raise them. I watched as the machine in brought up a portable incubator, grabbing each egg one by one before loading them into the machine.
Once it was done loading, I took the incubator and loaded it my inventory. I began walking back to the other incubator, when Anky got all squirrely and cried out, in fear. Taking out a kunai from my pouch I raised it as I saw a Compy staring at me. Sighing, I slightly lowered my kunai, before an Indoraptor ran by scooping it into its jaw, faster than I could react. I raised my kunai again and dropped Anky behind me. The Indoraptor looked at me, staring me down before slowly creeping toward me. I tensed up, my chakra was low, but I had to figure something out quick or we'd both die. The Indoraptor eventually reached me and nudged me with its head before chittering and lowering it submissively.
HOLY SHIT! This thing was submitting to me. Stroking its head slowly, as it began to purr, pushing its head into my chest even further. My Danger Sensehadn't gone off at all and I honestly couldn't figure it out why. I picked up Anky again and watched as the Indoraptor just stared at her unsure, if she was a snack or friend. "Friend." The Indoraptor snorted before it circled behind me memorizing my scent. I walked back to the first egg machine and saw it had filled four incubators with all of my selections. Putting them in my inventory, I turned to the computer and began looking for all the files on the Indoraptors. After combing through most of the files on their biology and genetic makeup, I came across what I was looking for, their behavioral files. Looking through those I found out exactly why this Indoraptor listened to me.
Indoraptors are extremely loyal to their pack but especially the pack leader, who in their eyes is the strongest. When we tried to use them against the Indominus we didn't account for that and the ended up submitting to her completely. When she sicked them on us, it became a slaughterhouse. Wu was nowhere to be found and no one was coming to rescue us, the few that are left know we're living our last moments as I
The message never continued, and it wouldn't take a Nara to guess what happened afterwards. Sighing I began to pet the hybrid beast amused as it started to purr and make happy chirps. While I was doing that, I printed out every file they had on the species I'd be reintroducing to the world, I wanted to ensure I could administer proper care to them all. Once I got done with that, I decided it was time to head back.

He continued to get closer until the worst thing ever happened.

Hmm. Not bad at all. My modifiers added 10 points to STR, DEX, and INT; and 15 to my VIT. That left me with 10 extra points. I decided to put that into my WIS so it could match my INT. My chakra skyrocketed from my perks, and I felt like I could barely contain it. Sighing to myself I let the chakra settle before looking at Mu-kun again. "Hey." I said smirking. The feeling of my chakra settling, actually making me feel excited.
"Hey." Mu-kun's shocked face was priceless. Snickering I began to walk back to camp when I heard a loud high pitched cry, coming toward me at top speed. Turning around I got the air knocked out of me by my little friend.
"ANKY!" Holy shit, how did she come with me. Picking her up from off my chest I let her snuggle into me, the sound of happy grunts filling the clearing. Mu-kun wasn't sure how to handle it judging by the way he was looking at it. "Mu this is Anky, Anky this is Mu." The two stared at each other before turning their attention to me, Anky was looking for food while Mu was looking for answers. Giggling, I pulled out some berries from my inventory and gave them to her. Mu stared as I fed the baby Ankylo who was greedily eating all the berries available. "Wanna pet her?" Mu nodded and walked over to do so when a loud growl was heard. Instantly going on alert, I stood in front of a very confused Mu. "Stand Down, Beacon!" I watched as my large Indoraptor, came out of the tree line, still growling, its red eyes promising a quick death if Mu forgot his place. I had named her Beacon as she had two streaks of gold that seemed to glow when she was content.
Beacon continued to stare apprehensively at Mu-kun, her jaw slightly opened. She hadn't met any other humans as far as I knew so I was slightly worried she wouldn't she understand, and Mu-kun and her would fighting for their lives. All I could do was stand in between them and hold my hand out. Hoping Beacon would listen. Beacon narrowed her eyes at me and began pacing from side to side, saliva sliding down its fangs, and it's tail whipping around violently. Anky sensing the hostility began walking towards her, completely unafraid of the much more powerful and vicious beast. Once she reached her, the little child began letting out small chirpy cries. Beacon turned to her, entirely engulfed in whatever she must've been saying. This went on for a few minutes before Anky began to nuzzle her face and Beacon began to clean her. Beacon seemed to have calmed down for the moment.
"Don't make any sudden movements, Beacon is only appeased right now, but it'll take time for her to get used to you. She won't attack unless she thinks you will so unless I initiate contact, don't you come near me." I turned to Mu who only nodded his head. "Beacon, eyes on me." Beacon's head shot in my direction, she let out a small hiss, annoyed I interrupted her for a second time, and followed it with a hard tail slap on the ground, letting me know there wouldn't be a third time. "Both of you to me." Anky stopped her nuzzling and looked at me happily as they both came to me. I picked up Anky and shoved her into an unsuspecting Mu-kun's chest, who almost dropped her, but quickly but barely recovered and cut her. Beacon wasn't too pleased with him holding her baby sister, hissing loudly at him. I bonked her on the head which did more to surprise her than harm her. "Enough, you idiot. You need to listen to me, we are going to my base, and you are not going to attack anyone I don't fucking tell you too, got it!?" Beacon stared me down unsure on if she wanted to fight me or listen. Accessing my chakra, I tried my best to imitate Tsunade's scary aura. Apparently, it must've worked too, as the raptor lowered its head in submission and fell in line.
When we got back to base, we were greeted by three extremely different but equally intimidating men. Sakumo-sensei, Kizashi-sama, and of course my dad. Beacon began hissing at them violently, her tail whipping back and forth. This was going to be a long night.
"UGGH" I hate Mu-kun. After explaining to our superiors that we just happened to find two incredibly strange creatures, in a clearing and I somehow tamed them with food (a story no one believed, but they chose not to press it further for some unknown reason). I was now getting the dogshit beat out of me by my new sensei. Kizashi just stood there laughing his ass off, while Beacon and Anky just watched this embarrassing fight.
My Shunko: Lightning was active but apparently this universe buffed the shit out of Sakura's dad, because it did next to nothing. I couldn't tell if he was enhancing his STR and DEX or if it was all natural, the man's chakra was so weird. It was always active, yet never really diminishing, like he was using a jutsu without a chakra cost. My senses didn't know what to make of it honestly.

Dude was so out of my league I couldn't even see his goddamn stats. As I was about to unsuccessfully attack again my Shunko deactivated. As a result, my body was racked with pain, and I began to cough up blood. "Hmmm, I know that look." Snapping my head up I saw a smirking Kizashi, he had made a chair out of the earth to sit on while he drank, what I presumed to be sake, the man was a bit of an alcoholic from what I'd gathered. "An, unmastered Shunko huh? Your mother had the same problems when she exceeded her time limit as back in the day." He smirked before rushing me, a golden fist lodged itself in my gut before I could ever move. Even though I expected pain I felt nothing but relief as the golden chakra began transferring itself into my body, healing my damaged muscles and bruised skin.
"Yang Release." This sensation was unlike any I'd ever felt before. My cells felt supercharged from the rush of chakra. I felt like I was much stronger, and my senses had never been so sharp. I looked up at the smirking man, a blush of embarrassment on my face as he gained amusement from my shocked face. "Yang Release tends to have that effect on people. You should have seen your mom when I gave her some for the first time. She practically orga-" Sakumo-sensei was suddenly launched into the dirt face first, my father and his glowing blue fist behind him.
"Idiot." We said at the same time.
"How'd they do?" My father had taken it upon himself to train Daichi and Mu-kun. The two still couldn't stand one another and since my father wasn't a fan of them fighting over me, he said he wanted to train the stupid out of them. Sakumo-sensei didn't really care choosing to focus on testing Yuriko by having her spar against Beacon who was all too happy to do so.
"Damn that fucking hurt." Kizashi had gotten up and began to rub the back of his head. "Yeesh, it was just a joke Senju." Grabbing his bottle, he sat back down on his earth made chair and began drinking. "Ahhh, that hits the spot." The man was shameless drinking a small gourd full of sake, before 10 am even, it was ridiculous.
"So, what are you gonna teach me?" He looked at me and smirked the look becoming more annoying the more I saw it.
"I'm gonna teach you, bout Yang Release and Light Release. The first one is simple; it involves your grit and life and basically takes that chakra and converts into power. Said power can do three main things augment your physical capabilities, heal yourself and others, and boost the abilities of allies. Honestly it isn't that difficult to use once you learn it. The only reason most people don't use it is because the ain't got the lifeforce for it. Yang Release is like Shunko use it improperly and it'll destroy your body. While your body just has to adjust and grow over time to master Shunko, Yang Release isn't something you can grow into. You gotta have a strong enough lifeforce and great chakra control to really master its techniques. Light Release is the next step of Yang Release. By combining lightning, fire and yang natured chakra I was able to create a destructive Kekkei Tota. Unfortunately, though I haven't been able to expand upon it, due to this overblown temper tantrum of a war. My sword found itself on his next only being stopped by my father's hand gripping my arm.
"This temper tantrum took my mother. Watch how you speak." I knew he could've dodge it and I knew I could have been killed right there but I didn't care. His face for the first time was neutral, his usually smirking lips a stern line. I let the threat linger in the air, before lowering my blade and chakra.
"Hmm. I knew I got the right one." A clone of him suddenly popped up next to me and walked over. "I got war stuff to do but get little miss shinobi over there started on Yang Chakra Manipulation and Fire Chakra Manipulation." His clone and I nodded, as he and my father headed back to camp. I was going to end this war.
It had been a month of absolute bullshit, I thought as I healed another one of my comrades. I had started Kizashi's training but had only learnt two damn techniques since Kumo wanted to be little bitches and test our fucking patience. They had been sending small strike forces to cause small skirmishes along the border to whittle us down and it was working. It didn't help that this was our most overworked division. Konoha was basically on its own on this front, and with no aid from allies it meant it was our weakest division. To preserve our troops and our energy, the most we could do was play defensive and Kumo knew that. Konoha's shinobi were getting tired from fighting against a force that could split itself in three and rotate them out to attack. Our only saving grace was our positioning. The battlefield was separated by the Fukaishizukesa Ravine, a massive ravine with a beautiful clearing in the middle but practically untravellable areas on the sides. The only way through safely was the middle and that could be exploited with ease.
My mind was moving at the speed of the Second Hokage as I tried to come up with some plan we could use. I found myself doing that a lot lately a byproduct of training with Kizashi. He aspired to become Hokage after the war and had decided one of the best ways to sharpen is mind was to clash against my own. I didn't mind though especially since I used the Reset Ore. I had never realized it before but I had missed out on a lot of training points and some of my allocation choices weren't the best. Luckily, I'd been able to fix that and was a much more powerful and balanced fighter. As I continued to heal my comrades. Suddenly a small but familiar chakra signature popped up next to me from the ground. Looking down I saw one of my burrowing owls staring back at me. I had deployed five of them to spy on the Kumo camp and see if they could get any information.
"Kagayaku, I have information you need to hear." The small bird jumped on my shoulder, before whispering "The two tails is on the move toward us, she's about two days out from here and I have my brother tracking their movements." My eyes almost left my head. Holy shit. This wasn't good.
Kizashi was getting stressed, we needed a way to end this. There were talks of Suna pulling out soon and if it came down to a three vs one, we were screwed. We needed to make a big play. Getting up I left the medical tent not caring that my shift wasn't over and/or that the lead medic was yelling at me threatening me with a court martial.
I made my way over to the planning tent and entered without a care in the world. Two ANBU had their blades at my neck before I took a second step. Kizashi, my father, Sakumo-sensei and some other Jonin were staring at the map trying to figure something out. "I an idea." Kizashi burst out laughing, while Sakumo-sensei just closed his eyes and rubbed his temples. My dad was freaking out though and had gone pale white.
"Yo, she's cool y'all. She's my apprentice let er in." The ANBU disappeared in a quick second, yet their presence was still clearly felt, whether intentional or not. "What'cha got kiddo?"
"The two-tails is on its way. We need to do something now." If they weren't paying attention earlier all eyes were on me now. "One of my espionage owls, received and confirmed the intel." Kizashi slammed his fist on the table causing a massive dent in the table.
"We can't keep doing this we need to force them out of this war. Kumo is taking up too much of our time and resources. Neither stand anything to gain if the other loses than one less rival. We need to neutralize them. We need a big move and I think I got one. Killer Bee and A just got their asses handed to them by Ohnoki and Roshi, it's why they stopped antagonizing Iwa and moved their forces over here." Everyone looked at me in shock as to how I knew that, as that intel was still private. Sensing danger I decided to continue. "The Jinchuriki of the two tails is 2 days away. If we capture her before she gets to their camp, the Third Raikage will be forced to come out to bring her back. If that happens all we gotta do is keep him busy and eventually he'll be left with three options, send his entire force through the Ravine and risk massive casualties, try and rescues her alone and inevitably die trying, or let us keep her and create a new Jinchuriki losing a lot of their military power. No matter what it's game over for them."
"Umm there's quite a few problems with that plan, dumbass." I looked to see an absolute bad bitch with wild spikey hair, a muscular stature, and two fang tattoos on her face. Her giant black wolf stared at me like I was stupid as well. "One, none of us could get past that camp undetected and get out undetected. Two we ain't strong enough to give the Raikage a fucking itch. Three how do you expect to hold the brat?" Tsume Inuzuka definitely lived up to my expectations from the anime.
"I can get a small force in. Give me some ROOT agents and we could grab her. Also with Sakumo-sensei, my dad, and Kizashi-sensei we can definitely take him on. There's also someone else I had in mind for the job as well. Holding her is child's play to a Fuinjutsu pro like myself."
Everyone stared at me, mulling over my suggestion. It was crazy and everyone knew it, but it was also the best way to completely neutralize Kumo. Whatever came of it would alter the political and historical landscape of this whole war. Kizashi sighed, I could see him working through every possible scenario in his head.
"Yamanaka-san contact Konoha and inform them of operation Closing Act. Swan contact ROOT and see if they can mobilize a small extraction force within the next twelve hours. Kid start prepping your transport and get whoever you need to get to fight the Third Raikage. Everyone else, go on high alert this is going to get ugly. GO!" We nodded; it was time to show the world exactly who we were.

I'll never get over the feeling of flying, was my thought as the wind blew through my hair. 5 Owls were carrying an elite squad with one objective in their mind. Capture the Two Tails Jinchuriki or kill her if capture is unavailable. Shirodaki was carrying Yuriko, Daichi and I, overtop the clouds to remain undetected. My burrowing owls guiding us through telepathy. ROOT and had sent a 7 man squad of ANBU level fighters to back us and of course Mu-kun joined us as well. The ROOT in this world was different they all clearly possessed emotions as they had been cracking jokes the whole time but they also had complete control of said emotions. They weren't the pretentious dicks they were in the anime, and I had a feeling it was due to Hiruzen's involvement in this universe.
The team consisted of Bear, Shark, Turtle, Beetle, Spider, Lion, and Wolf. They were interesting, and they wore the standard ANBU armor with the addition of three black bars on their gauntlets. Bear was a large fellow; his muscles were huge and his armor looked like it could barely fit him. He was a literal giant standing taller than almost everyone. He was the most boisterous of the group and was often cracking lewd jokes as well, we got along great. Shark was more reserved and seemed to be the newest to the group, she hadn't built up the chemistry and it was obvious. She was barely taller than Daichi and had her dark blue hair tied in a ponytail. She also didn't have a katana like the rest of them instead wielding two kodachi. Turtle was a dick, while Bear made lewd funny jokes, Turtle made perverted and disgusting jokes, commenting on how he'd show Yuriko and I some advanced seduction techniques. He disgusted me as I knew he was the type of Shinobi who gained power to do what he pleases. Beetle was quiet but not in the same way Shark was. Beetle was a mute from what I gathered apparently only communicating through hand seals if needed. Spider was an eccentric individual, she was strong but her attitude suggested she was a bit of a slacker. Anytime she was asked to do something she'd let Turtle see her tit's and he did it. Lion was my sister. I knew her chakra signature from anywhere. She hadn't spoken much except to curse out Turtle when he hit on me. Wolf was the leader and was a strict no nonsense type of leader. Entirely focused on the mission. Apparently, she would only loosen up when she wasn't on assignment.

"DODGE!" All the Owls sprang into action separating from each other as a blue ball of flames occupied the space we were once in. Thank God for Danger Sense.
"I don't know how they found us, but they did, begin the mission." The Owls began diving toward the ground and that's when I saw what we were up against. Eight Kumo Shinobi and the Two Tails Jinchuriki were in front us preparing for combat. The were by a river bank surrounded by nothing but forest. Right where we are most comfortable at. The Owls were quick though and got us to the ground before the Jinchuriki could charge up another blast. She was gorgeous, she was as tall as Sakumo-sensei with long black hair and a skintight violet combat suit that hugged her in all the right places her snow white skin contrasting with the violet perfectly. She had to gauntlets on her arm that began to release blue flames that to the shape of claws on her hands.
When we all landed I watched as Wolf gave the signal and everyone went on the offensive. Mu-kun and Daichi targeted the biggest of the group most likely a taijutsu specialist and began leading him away from the fight. Using my Owls, Bear, Shark, and Beetle were able to nab two before they each flew off, probably to buy us some time.
The last jonin however looked at all of us before her eyes widened at me "They're here for you Shizu-sensei. I will kill the Senju while you distract the ANBU." Everyone was shocked as the next thing I knew I was being sent into the forest with Yuriko after we both attempted to block a spear. Stumbling to get up, I narrowly avoided losing my head as the Kumo girl thrust her spear at me. Luckily Yuriko was there to follow up with a series of slashes that forced her to jump back creating some distance between us. I got a better look at her from afar. She was blonde and had a long braided ponytail that traveled down her back. She wore a black body suit that was almost skin tight. She also had some sort of silver armor with a lavender skirt that was held up by a gold belt. Over it all she wore a black trench coat. She wore black gloves and iron boots as well. Her eyes were an electrifying purple and were cold locking on to me like a predator does prey.
(Bear's POV)
"How about you drop all of this and just let us take you jin-" I never got to finished as a massive stone was launched straight at my head. I barely had time to dodge before their partner hopped in and began trading blows with me. He was about my size and his taijutsu wasn't bad by any means. There were a few times where he landed some decent shots. Unfortunately for him, I was the taijutsu specialist of all of ROOT.
He launched a strong right jab at me which I easily ducked under before grabbing that arm and snapping it. While he screamed in agony I extended my middle and index finger ad began flooding his tenketsu with chakra before kicking him in the chest sending him into the nearby rock face. I couldn't relax though as a another set of stone spears shot out from the ground. "Pfft, this is child's play to dodge." Leaping in the air I jumped toward the caster of the jutsu and slammed my fist into their chest. The impact sending them flying through the forest before skidding on the ground. I didn't bother to look at them to know they were getting up ever again.
"YOU BASTARD! Lightning Release: Dragon's Rushing Maw!" A bolt of blue lightning shot at me taking the form of a roaring dragon intent on devouring me. The jutsu was strong and if I was a normal shinobi, I would have been fearful of it's abilities, thank god for ROOT I guess.
Channeling chakra into my left eye I copied the technique and sent right back at him. The two lightning dragons crashed and writhed as they fought for dominance before cancelling each other out. The explosion causing a bright flash and massive cloud of dust to obscure our vision. When it cleared the Shinobi was nowhere to be seen.
"Hmph, guess I scared him off. Oh well." Turning I started to head back to my team. It took all of three steps before I myself turning around dodging my opponent's blade and sending my chakra coated hand through his chest.
"How!? CoughYou're a sensor!?" He began to cough up blood. Looking at him I felt some tinge of respect for trying to fight death. He was young, must've recently gotten the field promotion. I had somewhat recognized from the bingo book.
"Byakugan."
"But you cough copied cough my ju-cough."
"Sharingan." His eyes widened at my secret, before I sent a small put potent amount of flame chakra through him to reduce him to ash from the inside. Just in case. I headed over to his teammate and did the same. Sighing to myself, these kids were so young, they didn't need to die, but I guess they were like me in a way, ready to sacrifice it all for their village. Shaking my head at the foolish belief, I steeled myself before heading back to my team. The mission still needed to be completed.
(Shark's POV)
"Bitch stay fucking still!"
"No." The two idiots, I had been fighting were annoying. Neither were any good at taijutsu but continued to try and use it to defeat me. Okay never mind that's an understatement. They both were actually above average at the art, but when you spar with someone like Bear everyday everyone else just becomes subpar. My two opponents were a brother sister duo, both had green hair and violet eyes and looked too much alike to not be twins.
"Unfortunately for them it was also pretty easy to read. Sensing they were getting nowhere they jumped back before going through their hand seals.
"Wind Release: Windstorm Trap/Fire Release: Inferno Song." Massive amount of wind and fire combine to create a torrential blaze set to incinerate me to ashes. I quickly formed my own seals before sinking into the ground, the inferno scorching the earth as I narrowly avoided it. Silently I rose from the ground and slid one of my blades through the brothers heart ending his life quickly. The sister screamed before drawing a tanto and launching a flurry of slashes at me. It happened so quickly I didn't have time to pull my blade out her brother's chest, barely having time to pull out my other blade.
The two us began to cross blades, her strikes were filled with hatred but to be honest I could care less. My own blade found hers multiple times blocking each strike as they began to get more sloppy. "HOW COULD YOU! YOU BITCH! HE WAS THE ONLY PERSON I'VE EVER HAD! YOU TOOK AWAY EVERYTHING! DO YOU EVEN CARE BITCH!? HE WAS THE ONLY PERSON WHO TRULY LOVED ME! DIE, DIE, DIE, DIIIEEEE!" Wow this girl was a wreck. Seriously tears in the middle of a battle. So uncool.
Jumping back to create distance, I watched as she struggled to catch her breath. This was over. Normally I wouldn't do this but I'd be lying if I said I also didn't want to recover a little stamina. "Who was he to you?"
"HE WAS MY BROTHER YOU BITCH!"
"Really? You made it seem like you were fucking him. Wait… are you?" The rage on her grew leaps and bound at the lewd accusations. I guess good taijutsu isn't the only thing I picked up sparring with Bear. Her face grew red with anger as she charged at me screaming. She plunged her blade through my chest, and sent lightning in it to destroy me from the inside.
"Stupid Bit-ARRRGGGH"
"My, my, Kumo should be ashamed of themselves. Making Shinobi the rank of jonin when they fall for obvious Genjutsu is really appalling." The me before her began to crack before falling apart and landing on the ground like shattered glass. Unlike her, my blade actually went through its target's chest. I didn't bother to hear her last words as she fell to the ground dead as her brother. Shrugging I went to collect my other blade before heading back to my team. After all, the mission still needed to be completed.
(Beetle's POV)
My opponents were dumb. "Water Release: Turbulent Wave Crash/Lightning Release: Shock River!" The combination attack rushed my way intent on sweeping me up an drowning me. Placing my had on the ground I formed and activated a chakra based seal that created a protective barrier around me. When the jutsu ended I rushed towards my opponents, the two decided to meet me head on and we began our taijutsu fight.
The two were completely out of sync probably not used to fighting into each other as they constantly bumped into one another or hit the other when I dodged. Eventually they realized it wasn't working and they jumped back to regroup.
"Damn, we need a plan."
"Agreed, I'll use taijutsu to keep him busy you hit him with a jutsu or something."
Really planning right in front of the enemy. Lord Danzo would have my head if we did something to so foolish. Forming a ram seal, I watched as black markings began to spread across their bodies. Juinjutsu seals were very easy to put on someone in a direct taijutsu confrontation especially for Uzumaki like myself. These particular seal pulls in the gravity of their targets so that they can eventually collapse on themselves.
I watched as that happened exactly and the two became a mass of mashup up, bloody limbs. I left immediately afterwards. The mission still needed to be completed.
(Daichi's POV)
Fuck this stupid ass mission.
Yet again I found myself barely dodging another lightning coated punch from this prick. Genryu Tatsuko was a jonin I'd heard my dad talk about as a problem for years now. Besides the Raikage and his son he was the only current Kumo Shinobi that could pull of the partial lightning armor. The bastard was huge a foot taller than Bear and he was all muscle. His giant arms a deep blue with sparks of lightning travelling up and down them. He had spikey salt and pepper hair on his head and in his beard. The asshole had on a black tank top, a dark blue combat pants, and black combat boots.
I rushed forward, my familiars Ensaru and Raisaru were both in my hands as short staff. When I reached Genryu we began exchanging strikes most of which were either blocked or evaded. Eventually he saw an opening and kneed me in the gut sending me flying. Mukaku didn't fair any better as he too got kicked in the chest and sent hurtling toward me.
"We're getting our asses kicked." I hated talking to him but for now our personal feelings had to be set aside.
"I know that." Mukaku had summoned his own familiar, a lemur named Tsubaki who had turned into a greatsword.
We rushed forward this time, together as we began to actually fight as one. One thing about the Sarutobi clan is that our fighting style wasn't designed to be used individually like most other taijutsu styles. Back during the warring states era we didn't have any prodigious shinobi like the Senju brothers thus we focused more on inter clan teamwork. "One Sarutobi is troublesome as it is."
"But two Sarutobi is assured Death." Mukaku finished before we reached Genryu and began our assault. Together we launched a flurry of techniques in sync with one another. When I threw a jab, kicked at his leg, when I threw a kick, he would jump and launch his own. Genryu could somewhat keep up and if he had a fully manifested cloak he would have squashed us but our combined speed and tenacity gave us the advantage.
Genryu sensing he was losing this engagement jumped back, we attempted to follow him but he raised his arms pointing his palms at us. "Flash of Inspiration." Two bolts of lightning left his palms travelling toward us extremely fast. The two of us barely dodged them but our troubles continued as he kept shooting more bolts of lightning.
"SON OF A BITCH!" I went through my hand seals and slammed my hands in the ground. "I need you to buy me some time." Mukaku rushed over to me and began to block, our enemy's bolts with his greatsword covering it in wind nature chakra.
"You sure you can do this? I heard you were able to use at least one jutsu."
"I… I haven't mastered it but I'm close, and besides I work better under pressure anyway." Focusing on my chakra I began to channel it. I needed to make this work.
Flashback
"Again boy." Wiping the massive amount of sweat from my eyes I began focusing again. "Kekkei Genkai are a unique set of abilities, aren't they? The combination of two different chakra natures to create one is such an interesting concept." His talking was annoying. "The Sarutobi clan is blessed, there are some among us with a unique chakra." I continued to focus on separating my chakra. "Most users have a body that is genetically suited to easily combine said nature, however there are a select few like us who study chakra theory that know this to be false." More sweat came as I finally was able to separate my chakra while holding it still. "Take the chakra, match the frequency, and channel the natures." Feeling the chakra in my body split I channeled them to my arms separately. "Our chakra can be somewhat volatile, and easily malleable." I turned the chakra in my right arm to fire and the left into earth. "Lava is the easiest to master you know. It has a ratio of 1:2, the least complex of them all." Bringing the two together I merged the hand seals "There you go, combine the two them." I brought my hands together, my separated chakra combining into one before I slammed my hands on the ground. Lifting my head, I released the chakra as a river of lava surged forward. Dad smirked as he released a massive blast of chilling mist and water that stopped my out of control jutsu. "Better boy, but not complete. Again"
I channeled the chakra and separated them before sending them to my arms. Mukaku was barely holding out, bolts of lightning coming more frequently. Bringing up my arms I went through my hand seals. "Hey idiot, move." Mukaku grunted before jumping behind me. Lifting my arms, I pointed my hands at the Genryu. "Ice Release: Freeze Lancer." Tendrils of blue energy left my hands, rushing toward my enemy. Genryu was left in shock as the arctic energy slammed into his arms, chest, and legs.
I fell to the ground as it ended my chakra nearly completely drained. Genryu was froze in a massive block of ice. Mukaku's greatsword turned into a spear which he coated in lightning chakra before throwing it at Genryu. The spear flew through the air a lightning speed before going straight through his chest. Genryu could do nothing except heave blood. The sight a grueling one to watch. When the light in his eyes died, Mukaku's spear disappeared in a cloud of smoke his familiar probably going home to rest, I could feel Ensaru and Raisaru do the same.
"I thought you were working on Lava Release."
"Dad mastered lava first, I'm not him."
Mukaku and I said nothing more as we began to rest. We were useless to Hikari like this and would only get in her way. Crack. Widening my eyes, I thought there was no fucking way. Crack. Mukaku and I both whipped our heads toward the ice as streaks of blue lightning began to seep out. Holy fuck.
A massive explosion rang out and we could only stare as Genryu was not only somehow still alive but was now covered in lightning natured chakra. He had somewhat perfected it.
He smirked at us. "You ain't the only one with some last minute power up bullshit." Mukaku and I grit our teeth this was just too much.
"Hang back, this form is killing him. He has like 3 min before he has to deactivate it." Mukaku was staring intently at our foe his chakra taking a while to settle. He proceed to gather wind natured chakra before he let it exploding sending dust and air in all directions. "Wind Release: Shunko." Mukaku was now also cloaked in an elemental chakra but his was wind.
"Can you hold for three minutes in that form?" I knew about the drawbacks of the form. Hikari told me that she has five minutes in that state as long as she doesn't get to injured using it. Mukaku not at full health or stamina might not be able to last a minute.
"I'll be fine. I only need this form to activate the second one." Holy fuck. Hikari would lose her fucking mind if she knew her cousin got the better of her. Mukaku began collecting the wind natured chakra and began rotating it around his arms in legs. "In order to reduce the amount of wasted chakra, I decided to just recycle what I used. Watch carefully." Two feathered wings opened on his back which were connected via air wrapped around his torso. "Wind Release: Mukyu Shunko."
Mukaku jetted off and the two began to duke it out. Mukaku's elemental advantage was a hard counter to the lightning armor if they didn't prepare some type of anti-Wind Ninjutsu. Mukaku landed a solid combo, that sent Genryu to the ground. Unfortunately, the form also was beginning to waver the idiot overestimating his own capabilities. Knowing I had to do something, I summoned Kageken. "Hey, turn into the chain. "Kageken just nodded and transformed. As the two continued to duke it out I launched the chains at Genryu's left arm and snagged him, Genryu wasted no time recognizing our plan and sending a constant stream of agonizing lightning through the chain. As the pain continued to grow and my body screamed at me to give in I refused to do so, I refused to give that bastard the satisfaction of seeing me weaker than him. This was all Mukaku needed though he quickly found an opening and smacked away Genryu's right hand out the way as he drew back his own. The spinning got more intense though until it became a drill that Mukaku drove straight threw his chest. The high speed winds tore him apart to the point his body was bifurcated.
This time we knew he was dead. It didn't matter though without having to say anything we both understood what had to be done next. Both of us tried to move however we passed out before we could do something like lift ourselves up.
(Hikari's POV)
Fighting another Gamer fucking sucks. I learned her name Shiore Kagare, a Tokubetsu Jonin from Kumo known for her resounding speed. Unable to see her stats I had to make an educated guess as to how strong she could be. Strength wise she wasn't stronger than me at all, each clash of our blades had proven that. She was immensely faster than us though her, she moved at such a blinding speed that I had been relying on Danger Sense just to keep up. Yuriko was doing slightly better than I; her speed was slightly better than my own and her Sharingan provided her the vision to succeed.
Shiore rushed toward me again opting to use her sword instead of her spear and the two of us locked blades again. I coated my blade in lightning natured chakra before taking off with Thunderclap and Flash and Shunpo, the two of us began throwing a flurry of slashes at one another neither side giving an inch. Yuriko stepped in as well her blade coated in flames as well. Our kenjutsu chemistry was perfect, forcing Shiore to either dodge or block but unable to counter. After blocking another horizontal slash from Yuriko and dodging my attempt to stab her, Shiore went through a series of one handed hand seals. When she fist she pointed her hands at me and released a bolt of lightning that branched out like the roots of a tree. Yuriko leapt back to dodge while I coated my blade in lightning chakra in order to absorb the lightning coming at me. When the jutsu died down I pulled that chakra into me, stabbing my blade in the ground I went through my hand seals quickly. "Wind Release: Giant Air Bullet." I shot a massive spinning blast of air that went straight at Shiore. Yuriko, in sync as always added her own spin to it shooting a Great Fireball, that merge with the air blast. A raging inferno slammed into the spot Shiore was but I knew it wouldn't be that easy.
Jumping back to Yuriko, I began charging up my chakra. "I don't know what the fuck she's doing but I don't fucking like it. I'm going into Shunko." Using my senses, I could tell Shiore was covering herself in some type of chakra cloak, and decided to respond with one of my own. "Shunko: Lightning." The lightning chakra coated my body before exploding out my back and shoulders. When the dust finally settled, Shiore and I stood across from each other. Her cloak was different than mine. The air around her was swirling calmly but with authority. She had some greenish tint to her chakra that worried me as well.
Shiore smirked before disappearing.
I could barely dodge the sword strike to the space my head used to be before the two of us took off. Not wanting to take the chance I decided to stay on the defensive. She was too fast, so I decided I was going to wear her out through attrition. There was no way she could have more chakra than me. We did this song and dance for about a minute before we came to the same conclusion. She couldn't last longer than me, but she wouldn't have to. I'd be dead before she ran out of steam. Activating Blut Vene to stop the bleeding of various cuts on my body. I fell to one knee panting. She was too good.

"What? Tired already?" I barely had time to move before dodging again, this time leaping over a small stream. She chased after me but to both of our surprise she found two arrows sinking into her right side and shoulder. Looking down the stream, I saw the glowing red eyes of my teammate glaring at our adversary. Her tomoe were spinning, taking in as much detail as possible.
Shiore wasn't amused as she pulled the arrows out and charged at Yuriko instead of me. Fuck. Now or never I guess I quickly formed the ram and rat seal activating a seal I had put on Yuriko. A giant puff of smoke was released from her stomach before a large head with a row of sharp teeth and claws appeared in front catching Shiore off guard and slashing arms and side before swatting her back with its tail.
When the smoke cleared Beacon was left standing there in front of Yuriko snarling madly at the new threat. Shiore got up easily before switching back to her staff. She and Beacon charged each other and began a dance of hacking and slashing. Knowing Beacon wouldn't last long I decided to pull in the excess chakra I'd been releasing. I began to manipulate the chakra sending int my brain, nerves and muscles supercharging them. It was dangerous yes but by not wasting that chakra and converting it into something useful it'd give me the edge I need to compete and not have to risk my friends. "Shunko: Lightning: Pantera." The lightning traveled down to my arms two claws of lightning appearing hover over my arms, from my elbow to my hands. They also appeared from my shins to my feet as well. My hair also rose and became extremely spikey. I felt overwhelmed. I could see, hear, feel almost everything around me.
I blasted toward Shiore kicking her away from my dinosaur before we began our song and dance again, only this time she couldn't keep up with me. I began delivering cuts and blows to her summoning back Shinryoku back to my hand. Shiore was in awe at my raw speed but could do nothing as I slashed at her and kicked or punched her through several trees. Shiore began trying to evade me or press the offensive but I was to fast in this form and could analyze her moves before she could even get into the stance for them.
I landed a solid side kick to her gut which sent her into a cliff wall, before following up with a flurry of blows. This is what she wanted though as she sent a massive wave of wind at me that I barely dodged. After that it was like a new gear kicked in for her as she charged me again this time as fast as me. Drawing my blade we began to parry and slash away at each other again only this time she was putting up a fight. It wasn't until the first tear of blood started leaking did, I realize I was at my limit. Fuck. Shiore must've realized it to as she pressed on with more ferocity. I tried to keep up and make space the bitch wouldn't let me. Eventually I would gi-

I could only look down to see it but sure enough I'd been stabbed through the chest. Channeling my chakra, I activated a seal on my chest before gripping her arms. "See you in hell." Her eyes widened in shock, but she didn't skip a beat as she channeled fire nature chakra and released it as a mate before incinerating me into nothing.
"HIKAAAAAAARRRRRIIIIIIIIIII!"
"Dumb ass bitch."
"Start working on her brain first."
"Squad A use Healing Resuscitation Regeneration on the brain and nerves first. Squad B use it on her muscles."
"Her stab wound is healing; she must've used Mystic Protection."
"Activate the seals, this is an emergency."
(Yuriko's POV)
I was going to kill this bitch. My blade was cloaked in hellfire and her flesh would receive it if I had anything to say about it. I rushed her repeatedly her little wind cloak had deactivated and I could sense it had taken a toll on it's body. "Hellfire Breathing: Form 3: Soul Incineration." Using my mastery of the flames I began to swing the blade sending waves of flames at her. She could barely dodge; her stamina having been exhausted.
The darkness within me had only grown stronger. Shiore decided to jump back before shooting a massive blast of lightning at me. The blast looked like it was moving in slow motion prompting me my body barely had to move for me to dodge it. I could see how shocked she was as I took a step forward and was instantly in her face. She reactivated her wind cloak, and while her speed had increased, it didn't faze me at all. The two of us began trading blows, matching sword strikes, punches and kicks. She was tiring and went for multiple kill shots, all of them missing. I decided if she wanted to end this we could as she thrust her blade at me. Sidestepping it I knocked it out of her hand with my elbow before following with a jab to her face which she caught. Channeling chakra to my fingers like Hikari I used a rudimentary version of her Chakra Enhanced Strength Technique breaking her hold with my fingers before quickly intertwining our fingers to form the serpent hand seal. She looked on in shock as I pulled in some of her chakra, before I kneed her in gut, quickly going through the monkey, rat, and ram seals. Before she could regain her composure I roundhouse kicked her knee sending her to the ground before forming the dragon and horse symbol with her. Kicking her in the chest I somersaulted in mid air before facing her.
My hatred was at it's peak as I could only focus on her death. Using the chakra, I stole from her I release a stream of blazing hot flames. "Fire Release: Weeping Dragon's Song." The flames came out as a concentrated stream that burned away everything. The bitch was able to get an earth wall up in time, but it wouldn't be enough. Channeling my chakra, I gave the jutsu more fuel. The flames becoming a bluish white as I turned up the heat. I could feel the wall burning away and then eventually just completely melting. The flames washing over the forest. When the jutsu was over, I fell to one knee, panting. My chakra was exhausted somehow. Did I overuse it? No there was something else. My whole body felt drained.
Not being able to dwell on it I barely raised my blade to block a spear strike. Shiore looked bad her left arm and sides were badly burned and she had few cuts an bruises. She was truly on her last legs. "You know, I would have let you live before that damn Mangekyo appeared."
My eyes widened my throat being to dry to respond. I tried getting up, but my legs just gave out on me, and I fell on the ground. She raised her blade above me ready to skewer me. "Your sacrifice will be for the betterment of-" She didn't finish as a beam of light slammed into the spot she was standing. The resulting explosion sent me flying until I was caught by a pair of clawed deadly arms.
I didn't need to look back to know it was Beacon who saved me. When the dust settled, Shiore was already rushing toward us. Beacon crouched over me intent on protecting me but we knew she would kill him. I felt a tear run down my cheek as this would be the second person who died due to my weakness. Beacon let out a shrill screech but didn't move, and that's when it happened. Something fell right on Shiore causing a massive crater to form as rocks and trees were all uprooted from the impact. When everything had cleared the unidentified object turned out to be a person, I knew all to well.
"Yo, sorry I'm late, but you know the Hero always arrives at the last minute anyway." Tears of happiness graced my eyes. She was alive. My sister and best friend was the only one who could pull something like this off.
"Welcome back, Hikari-nee."
Flashback
Watching a bunch of different clones of myself operate on myself was super fucking weird. My whole body was on fire. Using that version of Shunko was the dumbest thing I had ever done. My body was nowhere near ready to handle that level of jutsu. That being said thank God I took the right precautions.
ID: Create was the ultimate life saver. My own personal pocket dimension accessible only to me and would hold anything I need. I had modeled the world after Isla Sorna with a lush tropical jungle that spread everywhere. Beacon and Anky stayed here whenever they weren't with me and were thriving. Since beating their dungeon I'd come to utilizing this world more. Mostly to train but also to prep my hatchery. I had gotten my clones to build a small cabin in case I needed a place to rest, or a place to administer first aid.
This led me to my current predicament. I had placed eight clones here in case I needed to heal anyone and they had gotten the place set up immediately. What no one expected was that I'd be the first patient. I was currently in the middle of a circle in a four point star and square filled with fuinjutsu and medical chakra. Four were healing my brain and nerves while the rest worked on my shattered muscle. If it wasn't for their Healing Resuscitation Regeneration Technique and my Mystic Protection, I'd definitely be dead. I could feel myself getting better as I began to reactivate the Mystic Protection I'd complete this damn mission even if it kills me.
(Hikari's POV)
Looking around I realized we caused a lot more destruction than we were hoping. Half the forest was on fire and there were several uprooted trees and craters. Looking down I saw the dead body of our opponent. Holy shit. I killed another gamer.

Holy shit. I clicked yes and a giant scroll appeared, and I pocketed it. Using a small time fire jutsu I set the body ablaze. Couldn't take any chance. Walking over to Yuriko and Beacon I began using Mystic Healing on them. "Nice timing bitch."
"Thanks, what's up with your eyes?" They had changed, her eyes had flowers in them. I stopped focusing on them temporarily as Beacon began to nuzzle itself into my chest. I could tell she had been worried about and started scratching behind her jaw in her favorite spot. She began purring and nuzzling even deeper.
"What do you mean?"
"You got the Mangekyo Sharingan, I think? I don't know they got flowers in them though. I think it's a five petal rose. Ehh, it's hard to describe, looks pretty badass though." I wasn't just saying that to gas her up. Her eyes were pretty dope. Yuriko smiled at me before deactivating them.
"Thanks, let's hope we won't need them against the Two Tails. Let's go." I nodded and we got up heading toward the Nibi's chakra signature. Leaping through the trees the same sense of dread that I felt with the Sanbi. The closer we got the hotter it got, and I instantly knew something was off. I couldn't sense Daichi or Mu-kun and the ROOT shinobi chakra was erratic. Looking to Beacon I summoned an Owl "Go find Daichi and Mu-kun and get them back to camp." The two nodded before taking off. A few minutes later we reached the battlefield and saw nothing but chaos.
"Holy fuck."
Yuriko couldn't have picked a better term as before stood a wasteland of flames. Spider was dead, her body ripped in two. Shark was impaled on a trees and wasn't moving. Turtle seemed dead as well he had multiple sever burns on his back. Beetle had lost an arm, but he was somehow still standing leaning on a burnt and bleeding Bear. Lion and Wolf were barely standing as well.
Shizu was completely wreathed in flames, with the addition of cat ears, tails and claws. Yuriko and I tensed up out of fear when she turned in our direction. Shizu launched herself at me her claws extending toward us. Taking out a scroll I released a massive amount of water right before she skewered us. The torrent of water slammed into her sending her back. Yuriko supplemented the attack by charging it with lightning chakra. The electrified water sending her back.
The ROOT shinobi all jumped next to us. "What's the move?" Wolf was panting.
"I'm going to hit her with big jutsu. Hopefully I can get her to transform. After that we just need to pin her down, and I can finish the job." Everyone nodded.
Activating Shunko: Lightning I channeled almost all my chakra into my legs, arms and blades. Compressing the chakra, I watched as it went from blue to a deep black. "Lightning Breathing Form 10: Blessings of Bashenga." A shroud of lightning engulf me before taking the form of a black surrounded by multiple panthers. I charged at her my when I was right in front of her I began to slash at her each slashed followed by a lightning panther. On the fifth strike I sent her into the air before leaping and sending a downward slash into her chest. The lightning gathered and engulfed her In the dragons maw before sending her into the ground in a massive bolt of lightning.
Panting, I knew we were far from over as a giant explosion of blues flames washed over miles of the forest. Summoning Shirodaki, we watched in the air as a searing heat washed over the whole forest. A massive blue inferno in the center of area we'd been fighting in. Quickly taking out a chakra battery scroll, I activated the matrix and felt the chakra wash over me.

Still high in the air I watched as a massive blue hellion rose from the flames, its massive flaming body taking up most of the clearing an incinerating everything around it. The cat roared, a loud sound that shook the very earth. Even high in the air I could feel the intense heat. My sweat was evaporating as we speak as if the damn thing was trying to dry out the earth. "We need to stop that thing quick." Shirodaki only nodded before diving toward the ground.
The Nibi turned and focused on us, angered at my earlier attempt to kill it. The demonic cat began spewing blue fireballs in rapid succession, forcing Shirodaki to have to weave in between them. Even as we reached the forest and gained cover the Nibi still mad it hard on us. "Turn around. If this bitch wants a fight, we'll give her one!"
"Understood. Also Bokuto found your mates, the scaled one has returned and is waiting for an opening."
"You can speak to her?"
"We have been training the two in telepathic communication, yes. It was supposed to be a surprised gift, but this situation supersedes sentimental gestures."
"Agreed, tell her to go to Yuriko and give her a ride. Hey, the burrowing owls still in the area?"
"Yes, they are all deep within the earth."
"Tell them to go to at least one person on the team and set up a communication channel."
"As you wish."
As Shirodaki relayed my orders, she also hit the hardest U-turn in history before flashing toward our flaming opponent. Gathering myself I watched as the demon cat swiped at us intending on incinerating. Unfortunately my Danger Sense had seen it coming a mile and we split up with me jumping over the blazing limb. Activating them from my back I sent 4 Adamantine Sealing Chains at the beast, and felt each on wrap around and dig into her shoulder and leg. I landed on the ground hard, slightly sliding forward before turning to my adversary. Activating the seals in the chains I watched as her front left leg became basically useless. The cat began to swing on of it's tails at me intent on turning me into ash. "I gotcha."
Eyes widening I watch as Bear of all people summoned two massive astral arms and grabbed them both, before planting his feet in the ground. "SECRET TECHNIQUE: TENKEN NO SHINITE!" A third hand appeared grabbing the cats back left leg. "You got a minute. I can't hold this for long."
Right as he said that six golden arrows plunged into her right side sprouting five chains each which quickly connected to me. Holy fuck I can't believe that worked. I couldn't wait to tell Kushina. The Nibi was annoyed as the chains wrapped around her neck, back right leg and torso. "Your arrows worked perfectly. Hmm let's see what the others can do." I smirked as she began firing arrow after arrow at the beast each one with some kind of special effect. While we enjoyed it the Nibi clearly did not as she began gathering chakra into her body.
"Shit I think she's going to release a lot of fire everyone get out of here I can't suppress it all."
"No need I got this." I watched as Wolf ran past me before hitting the giant cat with an open palm. "Eight Trigrams: Disruption Palm." Whatever happened next was incredible I could sense the cat's attack get disrupt and explode within her, causing her yowl in pain.
Wolf jumped back next to the arm she used to perform the technique now wrapped in blue flames. "We only got that one more time." She said as she chopped her arm off at the elbow, to prevent the flames climbing any further. Badass.
I went back to focusing on the Nibi my chains were firmly wrapped around its body but the demon cat kept fighting. I needed to pin it. I began to sweat as our battle of wills continued, everyone was attacking it but its flames were burning them off with ease. It wasn't until Lion used some type of sound jutsu that I figured it out. "LION GET ABOVE IT AND USE THE LOUDEST ROAR YOU CAN TO PUSH IT DOWN! IT CAN'T BURN AWAY SOUND!"
"Hmph, got it little sis." Lion jumped in the air collecting as much chakra as she could, the Nibi more focused on Yuriko, Beacon, and Wolf who were shooting everything they had at her. It didn't realize it until she was high in the air that they had just been distracting. The two began gathering chakra for a clash of jutsu until a sharp stream of water slammed into the side of it's head. Knocking it off course and giving Lion time to finish gathering said chakra.
We snapped our heads forward and to our surprise found Shark with a gaping bleeding hole barely standing. "End this bitch."
Nodding, I turned back to watch Lion release a massive roar "SECRET TECHNIQUE: ROARING DAWN!" The massive sound blast slammed into the demon cat, sending it to the ground and providing me the opportunity to do exactly what I needed to do. I began sending my fuinjutsu through the chains and felt as the spread across the body of the Nibi. Unfortunately for us it didn't keep the beast down long enough as it got right back up before my seal could finish spreading. The Nibi was clearly done with us, and it decided playtime was over. Using its loosely free right leg it sent a torrent of flames that knocked a landing Lion, Yuriko, and Beacon away, I doubted they were still conscious. Its tails finally escaped Bears grip and he had to use his astral hands to block the tail swipe, which still sent him flying. I had no time to worry about him though sending even more chains to now hold the tails.
C'mon, Hikari. Focus. I strengthen my chains with chakra spreading across it's massive body even more. I tried to restrain it as much as possible but the monster cat was just too strong and I could begin to feel the chains strain against it's struggle. Sweating I concentrated on the chains as much as possible. Praying to Bast that they held. "I… I can't… I can't hold it for much longer."
Right when the chains were about to break I felt a hand on my back. Wolf began pouring her chakra into my chains strengthening them. "BEETLE NOW!" Surprised as I thought Beetle had left due to his injury, I looked to my left and saw him holding a light purple cube with a dark purple sphere. Running toward the beast he narrowly avoided a paw swipe by sliding under it and stopping just beneath it's torso. Once he stopped, he released the jutsu upward and I could only watch in amazement as it activated. A massive cube encased both him and the Nibi while the top and bottom had two massive sealing matrix that were in the form of a circle. Looking back at him I watched as that weird shape he'd been holding onto reappeared only this time he pressed it against his chest. That's when the true jutsu activated a massive amount of gravity and pressure became almost visible as it began to crush them both. Due to it being a fuinjutsu, I theorized my chains weren't affected but I could feel the Nibi struggle under what had to be crushing weight. The ground itself began to crack as the force exerted was too much.
This was our last shot. Sending my seals through the chains once again I watched as they began to spread across the hell cats body. We were so close, I just needed Beetle to hold up for a few minutes. I was so focused on the task at hand I didn't notice the Nibi staring directly at me before barely lifting a single toe. Out of the corner of my eye I watch as a small fire from earlier began rotating into a spiral and shooting up toward me as a spike intent on skewering me. Bracing myself I was completely unprepared for Wolf to jump in front of it and keep it from extending by covering her hand in chakra, grabbing the end and holding back.
"Finish this." I nodded before turning back to the beast.
"IT'S OVER! UZUMAKI SECRET ART: NORTH GOD STYLE: 23 POINT SEAL: HEVEANLY RESTRICTING TORMENT!" My seals began to glow before a multitude of things happened. First five rings of light with four cross spikes wrapped around the cats body, then six black chains wrapped around its body as well. The cat tried to struggle out of those but it was futile as eight red hexagonal pillars sprouted from it's body. Finally I watched as four flaming purple rods connected by a chain stabbed into the beast before a massive flash of light released, blinding me from the rest. When it finally settled down I watched as on the ground was a naked Shizu, a burning Beetle and a small black orb. I fell to my knees in exhaustion. This had been absolute hell. With a small burst of chakra, I watched as my clones in my instant dungeon summoned themselves to me. One began healing me before the others attempted to heal the rest of my team.
"Spider is dead. Moving to secure the area."
"I found Lion, she's hurt beginning aid, there's a high probability it will require surgery."
"Yuriko has been located with mild injuries, applying aid.
"Turtle is dead, Moving to secure the area."
"Beacon is alive, taking him back home to begin aid. She'll need surgery."
"Wolf is dead. Moving to secure the area."
"Bear has been located, he's still conscious rendering aid now."
"Beetle is requesting you come over, he doesn't have much time left."
I got up and walked over to his soon to be corpse. Beetle looked terrible. I could tell he broke several bones and crushed several organs all while being burnt alive. Kneeling down I watched as he lifted his hand toward me. Grabbing his hand I watched as three tattooed beetles of his climbed up my arm and settled on my skin. It was an Uzumaki rite of death. To pass on your knowledge to the clan was the most honorable thing one could do in their death. Suddenly it begun to rain, and I swore I felt a few raindrops run down my face. After mourning for a few moments I went over and picked up the sphere. It was extremely hot being the chakra of the Nibi. I had separated her power and left the slightest amount possible in order to keep her alive. Shirodaki suddenly landed next to me having been watching and waiting the whole time. Placing a few spells on her, I turned to my familiar and her flock. "Take her body to the rendezvous point." One of the younger owls a stepped forward and did so wile the rest awaited. "Gather everyone and return to camp." The owls nodded before setting about their tasks. I handed the orb over to one of my clones returning to the dungeon. "Protect this at all costs and don't mess with it either." I watched my clone nod before returning home.
Sighing I hopped on Shirodaki and watched as we flew back to base. Mission completed, I guess.
Alrighty that wraps up this chapter. This is one of the chapters I was most looking forward to right just because I really enjoy putting my characters in situations they might not be ready for. make sure you guys review and I'm still looking for a beta reader so if there are typos feel free to DM me I do go back and edit these chapters quite a lot actually.
