Morning came upon Mobius as it's inhabitants began waking up and starting a new day, same went for Tobias. He woke up at 09:00, he was glad he didn't go to the academy anymore so he could sleep as much as he wanted. That was exactly what he needed after that fight yesterday, he let out a loud yawn and stretched his hands upwards before turning to the side and standing up. Then he went to the cabinet in his room and took out an already rolled joint, Tobias would smoke weed every time he woke up so he decided to do the same today.
He opened the window, took a lighter and sparked the top of it. Once it began emitting smoke Tobias took a puff, he let out a cloud of smoke from his lungs and admired the sun rays illuminating the green fields in front of him. Then he took another puff and he could already feel that he was getting high,a smile immediately appeared on his face as his eyes began glowing.
Meanwhile, a Cykreasian girl was walking towards the entrance of Tobias's house. She was Samantha, Tobias's girlfriend. When she reached the door she knocked on it a few times, a few seconds later Rachael opened the door
"Hi Miss Rachael!" Samantha greeted her with a smile
This caused Rachael to smile as well
"Oh Samantha, it's so lovely to see you! Are you here for Tobias?"
"Yeah, is he here?"
"He should be awake by now, do you want to come in?"
"Sure, thanks!"
Rachael moved to the side letting Samantha enter the house, Victor was sitting on the couch watching TV and smoking a cigarette. When he heard someone approaching he turned around
"Oh, hey Sam! Sorry I didn't notice you, what's up?"
"Hi Mr. Victor, nothing much. How about you?"
"Oh same old, same old, I'm usually at home these days either watching TV or helping Rachael around the house. I suppose you're here for Tobias?"
"Yep, is the upstairs?"
"He should be, you're free to check it out"
"Thanks Mr. Victor, I'll be on my way"
With that being said Samantha began moving upstairs towards Tobias's room, when she reached the doors she pushed them and saw Tobias finishing up another joint. Even though the window was open the whole room smelled like weed, this immediately alerted Tobias as he turned around. When he saw it was his girlfriend he immediately let out a sigh of relief, however he didn't like the fact she didn't knock first
"Jesus Christ Sam, didn't anyone teach you to knock on the door?"
That reaction caused Samantha to become annoyed
"Are you serious? It's just me for God's sake!"
"Even so, please just knock next time"
Samantha began sniffing and smiled
"You really gotta get high first thing in the morning huh?"
"Yep, it became my routine. Anyway, wanna come to the party at Jake's tonight?"
"Sure, but first, how about you roll a joint for me?" Samantha asked with a smile on her face before closing the door
Tobias smiled
"Sure thing, just let me get it"
Meanwhile, Alviss and Jake were training at the CFA training room. The room was programmed to spawn robots whom the students would fight against, the duo chose the most difficult level in order to prove themselves so they were fighting the toughest robots the room could offer
"Fire fist!" Alviss proclaimed before the fist-shaped flames extended towards one of the robots engulfing it entirely. The robot wasn't finished however as it primed it's buster on it's left hand and began shooting laser beams towards the boy. Alviss jumped and began sending small yellow spheres from his palms which surrounded the robot, Alviss balled his fists causing the spheres to explode and the robot to become covered in flames
"Firefly: Burst" Alviss proclaimed after he commited the move
He didn't have time to relax however as he saw another robot jumping at him in an attempt to punch him
Alviss took a breath before releasing fire from his body, causing the robot to get knocked back and burn.
"Flame breakout" Alviss proclaimed
However just as he proclaimed that he felt a steel fist hitting him in the face, it sent him flying a few meters but he managed to glide on his feet, successfully stopping himself from hitting the wall.
"How you holding up Jake?" Alviss asked Jake who was fighting the nearby robot who was trice his size
"I'll manage" Jake said before blocking a hit from the robot with his hand covered in rocks
Alviss coated himself in fire as he charged the robot that hit him before, the robot primed it's buster and began shooting laser beams towards him. Alviss managed to dodge every single one of them before he managed to get in front of it, place his palm on it's torso and cause fire to burst out of it's back. Before it got completely burned from the inside the robot released a shockwave which knocked Alviss back, after that the robot charged a spindash and dashed towards him.
Alviss decided to do the same with his spindash being covered in flames, they clashed for 8 seconds before Alviss managed to break through and destroy the robot. It's parts scattered to the ground around him
Those robots didn't let up as 3 of them jumped on Alviss from all sides, Alviss spread his hands and became coated in flames once again.
"Flame Pillar"
Fire began erupting from the ground upwards, engulfing the 3 robots. It lasted for 5 seconds before it knocked them back, Alviss charged one of them before landing a punch in the face. After that he kicked it up, flew upwards before dealing another kick to the torso. After that he grabbed it and literally began filling it with fire from the inside intensely, after 5 seconds the robot could not take it anymore as it exploded.
When Alviss descended to the ground the 2 robots already charged him, he spread his arms again as they became covered in fiery energy that had a shape of phoenix wings.
"Phoenix missile!"
He clapped his hands releasing a phoenix-shaped fire projectile towards the robots, when it hit a massive explosion was created. The explosion was strong enough to destroy the robots immediately, seeing he completed his part Alviss knew he could relax now
Meanwhile, Jake was also doing good. One robot tried to jump him but Jake summoned a metallic spike from the floor which successfully impaled the robot, what he didn't see however was the robot priming it's buster and shooting him in the face. It was too late as the blast hit him, Jake had to grab his face since it hurt a lot. That gave the other 2 robots the chance to attack, one of them punched him in the gut and the second one did a downer kick to the top of his head. It caused Jake to fall off his legs and his the ground, he didn't hit his face since it was still covered with his hands. He managed to jump up sending a spinning kick to the robots knocking them out of his way, he took his hands of his face and saw his palms were covered in blood. His entire face was bloody due to the laser shot but he knew he couldn't let that distract him, instead he decided to try out his new way of fighting.
He closed his eyes and began glowing in brown energy, he was sending energy through his entire body in order to harden it as much as possible. He picked up that technique from the female Black Moon commander he fought, he opened his eyes again as he felt one of the robots striking him in the gut again.
Unlike last time, Jake felt almost nothing. It was as if the robot hit a rock, Jake coated his left hand in energy and punched the robot in the face. He managed to knock it's head off straight from it's shoulders, then he formed rocks around his arms which made his hands significantly wider and overall bigger than before. He grabbed the 2 robots, clapped his hands causing them to crash against one another and then slammed them to the metallic floor, destroying them.
The training was finally complete, evident by the signal the room gave off. Both Jake and Alviss sighed in relief as they made their way towards the exit. When they left Alviss turned to Jake
"Man, you don't look so good. Did they really manage to fuck you up like that?" Alviss asked
"Well, I let my guard down for a sec. It's nothing some water can't remove, so chill out buddy!" Jake said as he put his hand on his friend's shoulder
"Okay, but you gotta be more careful. A mistake like that can be fatal on the battlefield" Alviss stated as he made his way to the bathroom, since Jake had to wash his face he followed him
"You coming to my party tonight?"
Alviss smiled
"Totally, will Tobias be there as well?"
"Hell yah! He's gonna bring us some spinach, y'know what I'm sayin'?"
"Hell yeah…it's gonna be fun"
"Clyde, Zach and some of our other friends should come as well. A lot of chicks are gonna be there too!" Jake said in an excited tone
"Maybe I manage to find a girlfriend, I just don't want her to be a bitch" Alviss said
"So do I, but remember, homies over hoes!"
"Sure, that's something that will ALWAYS stand"
Meanwhile, Samantha and Tobias got really high in his room. Both their eyes were glowing and the entire room was covered in smoke, Tobias chuckled before asking
"Hey Sam, what would your dad say if he saw u like this?"
"I don't think he could because he's busy training my little brother…besides he works a lot so don't worry" she winked at him
"Awesome…" Tobias took another puff before giving Samantha a somewhat perverted smile
Samantha noticed that and blushed as she also smiled in the same way like her boyfriend
"You wanna do it?"
"Oh yeah Sammy, I want you so bad!"
The two leaned towards each other, wrapped their hands around each other and locked their lips in a passionate kiss. They stayed connected as Tobias pushed her over until she was laying on the bed, even then, their lips still stayed connected.
It didn't take a genius to figure out where this was going
Meanwhile, Victor was going to check in on them but heard noises coming out of the room. He looked through the lock hole
"Holy Jesus…" Victor thought to himself as he realized he didn't really have a purpose to be there and decided to head back downstairs
Rachael saw her husband coming as she watched TV
"What are they doing?" Rachael asked
"Well, let's just say they're "having some fun"" Victor replied in a somewhat sarcastic way
"Oh…" Rachael chuckled
"Then I guess we shouldn't disturb them"
Meanwhile, William and Astrid were in the forest near the Cykrease kingdom training. Astrid charged a wind-like energy sphere in both hands and shot one of them towards William, he reciprocated by opening a portal big enough to take the attack in. Just as Astrid shot another one William made the portal blast back the wind bomb causing them to clash, the explosion sent a strong wind wave towards both of them.
Astrid used this opportunity to activate her wind shield and get close while William guarded himself with his arms, when she did she snapped out her right hand and blew him away. William was flying towards a nearby tree but managed to activate a dark portal which prevented him from hitting the tree, after a second another portal appeared above the top of the tree and William fell out of it. He successfully landed on top of it, Astrid wasn't done yet however.
Astrid began swinging her hands, sending 5 flying wind slashes towards him. William answered with opening 5 smaller portals around him, causing each one of them to shoot a dark laser beam towards the slashes. Since he had great control over it he managed to send the beams directly towards them which caused the clash between them and 5 smaller explosions in the air to occur.
William jumped down and was surprised when he saw Astrid inside a large tornado she created, she extended her right arm and sent the tornado towards where William was standing. William created a Black Hole but instead of setting it to pull matter in he set it to push it away from it, when the tornado was close to William the black hole successfully repelled the tornado so it wasn't able to reach William.
The tornado was in place but still spinning and trying desperately to reach him, Astrid took out an empty sword handle. She grabbed the handle with her right hand causing the wind energy to form an air blade that was as long as her entire arm. William also created a dark energy blade that extended from his palm, they charged towards each other and their blades clashed. William broke the clash and the two engaged in close combat for a few minutes before William managed to create a wide portal which shot a dark and slightly bigger laser beam which blew Astrid away for a kilometer. William charged at her again, just when he almost got near her Astrid began spinning, a second later it formed a rotating sphere around her which managed to knock back William and make him glide on the ground on his feet.
"Well, how about we call it a day?" Astrid said, now quite exhausted
William smiled
"Alright, you did put up a good fight though. I'm impressed"
That comment caused Astrid to blush, it didn't go unnoticed
"Heheh, thanks!" she said as she chuckled with a hand over her mouth
William also smiled, even though she tried to hide it, the crush she had on him was so obvious it was just funny to him
He sighed as his expression returned to the neutral one
"I'm finally getting stronger, soon I will be able to reach my goal"
This caused Astrid to form a curious expression
"What was your goal again?"
"To kill my brother and avenge our family" William said in a solemn tone
"Yeah, I get that. However, you shouldn't be focused on vendetta so much. You need to think what is it you still have"
"I know, I'm grateful I have you guys on my side but I have set this goal ever since that fateful night. I can't go back now"
"Alright, just try to relax a little okay? You don't need to be so stressed out all the time" Astrid said
"Maybe…I can help you loosen up" Astrid said in a bit of a perverted hint
"Astrid, you know I don't feel that way about you" William talked back
"Well, okay. You wanna take a stroll then?" Astrid offered
"Sure, it's a nice day today" William said as the two Cykreasians made their way deeper in the forest
Meanwhile Malicious had a day off as a general and decided to take his son Markus to a stroll near the lake, the kid couldn't help but admire the beauty of nature. Markus was now 10 years old, he graduated from CFA so Malicious started training him as he knew his son would have to attend missions quite soon. Since Markus was the lightning type Tobias was often there to support his training, the kid was growing strong rapidly partly because he adopted some techniques from his older cousin. It was a great pleasure for Tobias to train someone he considered a little brother, even greater pleasure for Malicious to see the two bonding.
In his opinion, Tobias was a better brother to Markus than late Vicious was towards him. That didn't mean he didn't love him, he was his older brother after all. However, even as a child Vic was quite serious for his age. Tobias on the other hand was a total goofball even at 16, also Vic wasn't as much affectionate towards him as Tobias is affectionate towards Markus. Tobias was definitely more gentle, kinder and more supportive brother than Vic was. Malicious was very happy to know that
After taking a stroll Malicious decided to take Markus to his parents house, when his parents let them in Markus immediately rushed and hugged both of them which of course, they immediately returned.
"Hey grandma, hey grandpa! I graduated from CFA!" Markus happily proclaimed
"Oh, that's amazing Markus! Good luck on your future missions!" Rachael said as she patted him on the head
"Man, this takes me back when Tobias passed the CFA. Although Markus didn't have as much difficulties as Tobias had" Victor stated
Mal perked up
"Speaking of Tobias, where is he?" Mal said as he looked around
"Oh, he went out with Samantha this morning. He should be back soon" Rachael said
"Well, okay" Malicious said
Then a knock was heard on the door
"That must be him" Rachael smiled and went towards the door
When she opened them it revealed Tobias standing in front of her
"Yo!" Tobias greeted them
"Big brother!" Markus rushed towards him, Tobias was quick to notice as he grabbed him and scooped him up
"Well, well, if it ain't our fresh graduate!" Tobias said as he hugged him
After he dropped him down the 4 family members sat on the couch and began talking
I'm afraid I can't write their discussion since it's nothing that important so I will end the chapter here. Sorry.
Anyway, these 2 chapters were quite relaxing in comparison to 14 and 15. This one is a little more action-packed though, so there you have it. I'm planning the next ones to focus a little more on the Acorn Kingdom and Mobotropolis, that doesn't mean it won't include the Cykrease kingdom though. You will just have to wait and see
