Ainz was excited after so many years. Recently so many things have happened. They found a portal to the new world and the dungeon which is being mined for so many resources that could be valuable for Nazarick and the Sorcerer Kingdom. Only if he himself could enter the Dungeon that would be nice, but he will wait for Yuri's report about the deities on the surface and who has blocked their entrance to the dungeon or if it is a natural phenomenon. Demiurge and his team are working on a workaround for the dungeon entrance. It has been 3 Days since Pleiade's departure and they should be at the surface now.
'Lord Ainz we have discovered something unique about Magic stones and the Dungeon barrier' Ainz's thoughts were interrupted by Albedo's message.
'Report it to my office Albedo and bring the research head with you as well' Ainz said.
'Understood, We will be there in a short while' Ainz wondered what they have found.
A few minutes later.
There was a knock on Ainz's door. Maid went ahead to check.
"Lord Ainz, Lady Albedo is requesting permission to enter," Maid said.
"UmU, Bring her in and leave us," Ainz said. Maid bowed and left leaving Albedo and Research head alone with Ainz.
"Report" Ainz commanded. Albedo gestured towards the research head to give a summary of what they have found. She will present Lord Ainz with a thorough report later.
"By your will My Lord, The Magic stones that Lord Demiurge has provided has quite the uses. As you know there was a broken soul and concentrated mana present inside the stones, so we gave the stones to the low leveled summons to eat to see what effects it could produce and fascinatingly enough they developed their own core and cannot be unsummoned and are a permanent part of Nazarick forces." The research head said and waited for a moment.
To say Ainz was shocked was an understatement this is big which means they could have an unlimited supply of summons that could do a lot of work and are more flexible than the death knights and undead.
Ainz gestured for him to continue.
"As for high-level summons, they could be sustained in this plain via what appears to be large magic stones of floor bosses and can be sustained up to Level 80. However, since there is a respawn time limit on these bosses we could only have a limited high-level summons," The head researched concluded his report.
"Excellent work Asruni, You and your team deserve an award. I will decide on your reward later. Also, Albedo see to it that our best high-level summons are part of Nazarick from now on. You can leave now Asruni and keep doing your research on Dungeon items and drops" Ainz commanded and praised the head researcher named Asruni.
"I am grateful Lord Ainz, I will excuse myself then" Asruni bowed and left.
"That was an excellent find from Asruni and his team, See to it that they are provided all the resources for their research Albedo and tell me what have you found about this barrier," Ainz said.
"Understood Lord Ainz, As for the barrier we kidnapped a few more humans from Dungeon to do some experiments and we found that traces of divinity found in them has a similar signature to that of the barrier and it can be broken," Albedo said. Ainz perked up at that information.
"Hoh and how can it be broken?" Ainz asked.
"We have found three ways Lord Ainz, First one is easiest we can use the world item "Depiction of Nature and Society" (AN/ I know what this item does and I am making up BS to fit my plot) to change the layout of the barrier itself for us to pass through however chances are that it could cut us off from the Dungeon leaving the Pleiades stranded in the other world. The second is to use to Dungeon core itself to overpower the barrier. This one is the safest route however it will take about 42 Days and 13 hours to break the barrier this way. The Third one is to cut off the power source of the barrier which means killing the deity who has created the barrier only Pleiades can do that for now" Albedo concluded her report.
"I see, Start the Dungeon program Albedo. I will relay a message to the Pleiades on what to do. You're dismissed. Thanks for your hard work" Ainz said.
"My pleasure, Lord Ainz I live to serve. I will excuse myself then." Albedo then exited Ainz's room and the maid on duty came in.
Ainz was in deep thought he could destroy the barrier right now but chances are it could trap Pleiades in another world and he couldn't have that. So for now he will go with the safest route. He took out a device that would help him send short messages to Yuri to have her up to date with their finding. The downside of this device was that it was one-way and can only send a message once a week. It is one of those trash "April fools items" that he has gotten from Devs. Never would have that it could come in handy. Now then what should he write that would convey his message clearly?
"Find more information about these Gods, One of them or multiple has put this barrier and is powering this barrier right now. Eliminate them" That should be enough. He pressed the sent button. Let's hope Yuri shares good news otherwise, the barrier will be broken in a month and a half anyway.
Yuri was reading Freya's letter suddenly she received a mental message from Lord Ainz.
"Find more information about these Gods, One of them or multiple has put this barrier and is powering this barrier right now. Eliminate them"
I see so Lord Ainz has found out who has put up this barrier. It was only speculated that it is one of these gods but now it's confirmed and judging from all the information she has gathered so far no one should be able to perform this as all of them have their powers sealed unless they have found a workaround. She needs to act fast and eliminate this so-called God who's in Lord Ainz's way. For now, she needs more information and the best source of this information was right in her hand. This letter. So Freya wants to set up a meeting with her. She will use this woman's resources to find out who is capable of putting the barrier on the whole Dungeon and once she has she will personally eliminate the so-called God who's in Lord Ainz's way.
"I accept the invite, Ottar, me and my sisters will visit Lady Freya tomorrow if that isn't a problem, We were looking to join your familia anyway. However, we do have a few conditions that I will discuss personally with Lady Freya" Yuri said to the boaz.
"It isn't a problem, we will wait for you tomorrow. Also how many sisters do you have?" Asked the Boaz.
"6, Including me," Yuri said. Ottar was shocked but hid it well.
"Very well I will take my leave then" Yuri nodded at that and watch the Boaz leave.
"Now then it's time to meet up" She herself exited the guild and started walking towards their said meet point.
Freya was feeling excited and she couldn't wait for Ottar to deliver the news of his meeting with the woman bearing exclusive souls. She has seen Ottar enter the Guild and now she has to wait. After a few minutes,Ottar exited the guild and he looked in her direction and smiled. Freya smiled as well, 'I guess he found good news and since half the guild isn't burnt it was resolved peacefully' Freya thought.
Now she has to wait for him. Freya could feel it, The tides in the city are about to change and something huge is about to happen and she wants to be at the forefront of it. She will get those two women at any cost even if she has to burn half of the Orario to the ground.
A few minutes later Ottar arrived.
"So how did your meeting go and what have you found?" Freya couldn't contain her excitement and was acting like a kid waiting for her chocolates.
"It went well, I have found out that her name is Yuri Alpha, and including her, they are 6 sisters who are of similar strength and all want to join our familia" Freya squealed inside. Oh yes, 6 beautiful and unique souls just like her, and all of them will be hers.
"Yuri Alpha, Such a beautiful name and she's quite the beauty too, Has our meet been set up at my suggested time in the letter?" Freya asked composing herself.
"Yes, Mylady however they have few conditions of theirs that they would like to be fulfilled," Ottar said.
"Anything my dear Ottar, Anything" Freya shouted in excitement. She couldn't wait. In her excitement, she wetted her panties and now she needs to change.
"Please excuse me Ottar, I think I will need an underwear change and I can't wait to get all 6 of them for myself" Hearing that Ottar excused himself.
"Oh I can't wait to love all of them"
Hostess of Fertility was always a Hustling bustling place whether it be day or night. Adventures were always drinking and enjoying themselves and the Owner of the Pub was smirking at all the money they spent. Mia Grand, Former captain of Freya familia has seen everything in her life from psychotic deities to evil organizations. Fall of Zeus and Hera's familia to the Rise of Loki and Freya's as she herself was the reason Freya's familia rose to the height that it is today. Now she's retired and enjoys her normal life and saving a few lost souls along the way and also entertaining her Goddess whims sometimes. However, currently, she was weirded out by the little girl that has entered her Pub. She was a short girl with red eyes and curly black hair who was sniffing the steak she gave her. What weirded her out more was the fact that she was strong, stronger than her in fact. All her maids were on edge around her except Syr.
"Say girlie why are you sniffing that steak you know it's not poisoned," Mia asks.
"Yes, I know it is just a different kind of meat that I am used to having so I am just intrigued," Says the girl.
I see, Well from the looks of it, she looks like royalty so she must be having better qualities of meat.
"What's your name and where are your from you don't look from around here?" Ask Syr with no regard for personal space.
"Oya, Where are my manners? I'm Entoma Vaslisa Zeta and I am from North of the Orario a small kingdom you've probably never heard" Says the girl now named Entoma.
"Oh I'm Syr Flova and this is Mia Grand, Owner of this establishment. Nice to meet you" Syr puts her hand out for a shake at which the girl stares and then shakes her hand after a few seconds.
"Anyway, Kid I gotta go so let Syr know what you need and spend a lot you look like someone who's rich hahaha" Mia goes inside laughing.
Ryu learned a lot about the sisters while walking with them to the Pub. Nabe was a quiet type and didn't speak at all along the way. Lupu was the one who did all the talking and she shared a lot of information. She learned that they are 6 sisters who have just recently entered the city and were planning to join Freya Familia and all of them were similar strengths. This is quite shocking as 6 people of similar Strength level that to "King" joining Freya familia would just completely change the power dynamics of the city and it will be quite hectic. She can already imagine all the outbursts of all the Gods and adventurers of this city.
On her way, she met Bell Cranel, The cause of her current stress regarding Syr who was talking to some supporter.
"Hello, Cranel-san how are your dungeon dives going?" Then she looked at the supporter who was sweating for some reason. Suspicious.
"Bell-sama, Lili will take her leave for today," said the supporter now named Lili.
"Ne Ne why is your bag so big what are you carrying inside," Lupu says who somehow was beside the supporter in an instant.
"Lili doesn't want to talk about it," Lili says.
"You're no fun I bet you are saving all the kinds of stuff you have stolen in that bag," Lupu says cheerfully. Nabe beside me just smirks. The supporter looks like she has seen a ghost.
"Also why are you hiding behind a camouflage?" Ask Nabe beside me. How did she detect that she is under camouflage? Maybe she has a skill?
"Lili doesn't need to answer any of your questions," Supporter says and runs away.
"Boy, you should be careful whom you associate with. She's a thief and would have used you in the future or worse leave you in a ditch. You look like someone without a bad bone in their body" Lupu says.
"Lili isn't like that," Bell says putting up a weak front.
"She's right Mr, Cranel you should be careful whom you associate yourself with" I wish this Kid would just stop getting himself in trouble for Syr's sake.
"Would you like to join us for dinner, Boy?" Lupu offers.
"Uh, Sure" Normally bell would be flustered when a pretty girl like Lupu ask something from him, But for some reason, he felt calm near her and as if he felt protected.
Then all 4 of them went on their way to Hostess.
I know I am going very slow but since I plan a long series of 100 chapters it will take some time for the plot to build up. Stick around in the next 4 chapters plot will move to a bit more serious and war game tone.
