This is a small chappy since this is finally the end to this segment. I am finally ready to write a happy moment for our duo's. I promise to bring a good Abhi and Tarika moment for you guys I promise. Please review! thanks
I was thankful to god that Siddharth finally decides to abandon me and an unconscious Nakul. I could clearly see Nakul's head streaming blood down his cheeks. I frantically try to cut the ropes with the razor that I had hidden inside my belt. Pursing my lips to not catch any attention as I see no one around I apply more pressure, forgetting the restrains that I putting on my wrists. After five to ten minutes I finally felt the ropes sliced. Relieved, I tentatively wriggle out of them. My eyes scan around to see if anyone is nearby and worked to get the ropes that restrain my legs.
After I am pretty sure I am free from any kind of restraints, I scoot next to Nakul. I practically hug him as I cry silently kissing his cheeks. No matter how stupid or silly he is, Nakul is my world. I couldn't bear the sight of his blood. I rip the hem of my t-shirt and tie them around his head. It didn't take long for me to untie him completely. Then I carefully picked his cataleptic body behind me like a bag pack. I struggled to stand since I was petite and he is taller and lankier than me. With the help of my arms I was able to carry him to a safe distance that hid both of us with the help of a wall. My head was still wheezing from whatever chemicals they forced me to inhale previously. I looked here and there supporting nakul against the wall. I was hoping the CID team is probably listening to everything that is happening here. To make sure that I they knew that I have somehow managed to get Nakul out of the ropes and the chair I whisper to my shoes.
"Abhijeet and Tarika, We need your help. Maine Nakul ko churwa liya hai! Please we need back up. Nakul is hit really hard and his head is bleeding. Please SOS!" I made sure I was clear to the speaker.
Since the warehouse is semi lit it was easy for me to hide and make way to the other half of the basement. But I wasn't sure if there are people nearby, since I could hear voices of Siddharth. My heart was thumping so loud out of nervousness. I was running out of breath as I carried Nakul over my back to a dark alley. There were some humongous old carton boxes and I felt this had to be a good place to hide. Thanking to my reflexes I immediately nestle Nakul inside. His head had stopped bleeding. I scoot next to him like a cocoon, praying to god to get some help.
A voice suddenly echoed from a distance, "Sir, who dono bhag gaye!"
My heart sank as I felt that they might now start to look for us. I try hard not to move anything or make any noise. I was practically had my fingers cross as I hid inside with Nakul
"Kya, Jhanvi or Nakul?" Sid asked, his smugness all gone from his voice.
"Yes Sir!"
"Woh dono bahar to nehi gaye honge, yehi par hai! Look for them you idiot!" He immediately gallop around the other parts of the warehouse. I kept my breathing to minimal as I close my eyes. Oh god, I need help. I seriously need help. I don't think I will be able to fight them now if they locate us. Siddharth and his men were prancing around to search for us. As I felt someone closing to us, I bit my lips. My eyes clenching shut.
As if the universe has finally heard my prayers a thunderous gunshot was emitted from the front door of the warehouse. Someone was yelping in pain. I couldn't figure what the hell just happened as there were cross firings going.
Siddharth was screaming, "Yeh CID wale kaise aye yaha pe?"
The shrill voice of Dominique cries out in agony as the firing has somehow hit her. I was waiting for the firing to stop but there was some footsteps and shuffling nearing near us. I was sure my location was tracked down by CID but I wasn't sure if it's the good guys or the bad, I decide not to take any chance peeping out or asking for any help. Then suddenly I felt a big hand grabbing me. I gasp in shock as I was hoisted out of the box. Before I could even shriek my lips was sealed with another big hand. My eyes wide in shock as I see the person in front of me. My heart skipped a beat as I recognized the face. Heck the face that can make me nervous and happy at the same time. It was Daya, his eyes mixed of concern and anger.
"Shhh! Chilao mat main hoon! Daya" He eyes angry and voice raspy as expected. I relaxed a bit, my eyes looking down at Nakul. I pulled away from Daya before sitting back down on the floor.
He looked around before kneeling next to me to scoop up Nakul.
"Yeh behosh ho gya hai!" He checked his pulses before informing me.
I nod "Siddharth has hit him" I sob.
Daya's concern grew as he watches Nakul's face, "Ise jald se jald hospital le jana hoga!" Daya mutters under his breath.
Then he glances at me, "Jhanvi tum thik to ho na?" his eyes fell on my torn t shirt.
"fikar mat karo!" I mumble, I am sure I am going to have to listen to his lectures now. As if he could almost read my mind he shakes his head before pulling me in a cuddle. I couldn't held myself anymore as I start wailing in his chest, my glasses crackling so more due to the friction between my face and his strong chest. But I wouldn't care for a bit. I was in my haven. Daya's arms tightens around me as he buries his face in my hair and shoulder.
"Tum kyu ayi yaha pe Jhanvi?" He mumbles.
"Nakul needed me" I choked, "Mujhe use bachana tha!"
Sniffling loudly I break away from him, his eyes were red in tears. Daya was crying, for me. Guilt washed over me I snake my arms around his chest. I felt so sorry for him. He didn't deserve any of this. He big arms engulfs me in a tight hug as he burst into a silent sob. I've never in my life time imagined my mighty cop to feel so frightened. His feelings are so pure for me. I was in my nineth heaven. Daya is with me. I was in his arms. Nakul is safe with us. I sigh as I smile in his embrace, closing my eyes.
"Or mera kya Jhanvi? Tumhe pata tumhare jane ke baad maine kya socha? I thought you were kidnapped by Sid!" He groaned looking down at my face, "Mai to usko jaan se marne ka plan kar raha tha, but then Abhijeet ne mujhe call kiya and we made up the plan." He added.
"I am sorry Daya!" I look at his brown eyes. He didn't say anything as he could feel the growing need to kiss me. I could feel the same as I mumble "kiss me, Daya"
"Jhanvi-" Daya croaks, leaning down gradually, our eyes half closed. Within a fraction of seconds before we could even think or do anything Pankaj and Freddy showed up. We felt awkward with the position that we were in. As if things weren't pathetically embarrassing enough both the officer's face lit up with a matching grin as we pushed each other away, our face red in embarrassment. Daya gets off the floor clearing his throat.
"Aree Freddy sir," Pankaj decides to take a good dig of his senior. He continues with an exaggerating cough, "apne to kaha tha Jhanvi ji musibat me hai! But yaha to Jhanvi ji Daya sir ke baaho mein...!" And then with his hand he did the kissing sign, making a smacking noise from his mouth.
I reddened, looking down.
"Pankaj?" Daya muttered glaring murderously at his junior. Freddy looked down embarrassed.
"Yes sir?" Pankaj beamed like a happy puppy.
"jaan pyari hai?" Daya asked. Freddy stifled a laugh.
Pankaj knew that his senior had enough of his nonsense; he gulps some air before nodding.
"Yes sir!"
"Good." Daya clears his throat looking at me, his face flustered, "Jhanvi, tum or Freddy Nakul ko leke bahar jao, usko medical care ki bohot zarurat hai. Ambulance bahar he!"His glanced at me lovingly. I smile at back at him. He winks at me before telling Pankaj to leave the spot. Pankaj obeyed shooting a thumbs up at me. I giggled.
Freddy scoops Nakul up from the floor before guiding me out of the warehouse. We hurried out and saw the entire CID team on spot. Dominique and Siddharth has been caught and handcuffed by Purvi, Sachin and Abhijeet. The CID trio looked over at us before ushering us to leave immediately for Nakul. I was delighted that everything finally ended in an optimistic manner.
