Hermione POV
Hermione was being interrogated. Why? Harry was spotted in Hogsmeade with her. It was an almost perfect outing. She enjoyed herself quite a bit, and when she got back, she had a bubbly feeling in her stomach. The good kind that leaves you smiling annoyingly from ear to ear. However, what followed gave her an aneurysm. Hence almost perfect. Parvati and Padma had spotted her with Harry, and soon she was being hounded for answers. Thus her current situation.
"Nothing happened; he just asked if I wanted to go so I could take a break from everything, considering what happened the past couple of months," she replied
It was the truth, and her response left a heavy cloud over the rest of the room. Everyone knew how much stress all of Gryffindor underwent when Charlus was selected to be in the tournament. The boys celebrated, but the girls had it differently. Charlus may have been brash, but if anyone messed with Gryffindor, he'd charge head first, causing as much mayhem as possible. But with him occupied and reviled, the house was constantly being picked on. After Fred and George turned the Slytherin prefects into rabbits, the boys weren't picked on. But for whatever reason, this caused the girls to become the new targets. It was constant harassment of all kinds from all the houses. It eventually culminated in Lavender and Parvati being dragged into a bathroom by two older Slytherin boys. Whatever happened next, Lavender and Parvati couldn't remember. But the constant attacks stopped after that, and the older Slytherin boys that had kidnapped the two girls mysteriously left the school.
Harry POV
It was early morning, and Harry was walking through the halls of Hogwarts deep in thought, his mind going back to a conversation he had with Daphne Greengrass after he got back from Hogsmeade yesterday.
Flashback
"Back so soon, Potter."
"Greengrass?"
His response seemed to catch the blond off guard.
"So I'm Greengrass now, am I?"
"Have I ever called you anything different?" Harry asked her.
His response seemed to leave the blond hurt, and she quickly left him
Flashback end
"Why would she be hurt?" Harry thought
As he turned the corner, a hand grabbed him, pulling him into an empty classroom.
Snape POV
Harry Potter was late. The boy was never late. He'd heard from McGonagall about the boy's new "attitude" as she tried to tell the staff members about Harry's exploits during his tour of Gryffindor house.
"Green is sexier than black." The very phrase sent Snape into a rage. He had been waiting for a chance to teach the brat a lesson since 1st year. Annoyingly the boy was a precocious talent when it came to potions. Dumbledore and McGonagall may not have paid attention, but Snape was a Slytherin, and he knew the boy was hiding something, and it seemed he was correct. The boy made Barty Jr. look like an amateur. Finally, the door opened, and in stepped a disheveled Harry Potter. His appearance showed no sign that an altercation had taken place, and the slightly pleased smile on his face meant that whatever caused his disheveled appearance was quite pleasing.
"Well, then, Potter, did you enjoy your little snog in a broom closet with whatever tramp you managed to pay for?"
"Actually-."
"Silence." Snape relished the moment; after all these years, he could torment the other Potter boy. He was disappointed though he'd thought the boy was more Lily than James. He'd have preferred not to have lectured him during the boy's time at Hogwarts, but lecturing also had its pleasure. The door opened once more, and in stepped Daphne Greengrass. The regal blond was the epitome of what it meant to be a Slytherin witch. Beautiful, elegant, powerful, and a member of a pureblood family. But something was off about her. She had the faint outlines of a smile on her face, threatening escape at any moment. And although she hid it well, she was slightly limping. The gears turned in his mind.
"POTTERRRRRRRRR!"
