Chapter 31- Wedding Crashers
Willow was surprised when she returned home to find out that Carly would be staying with them until Willow got more of her strength back. She still was having trouble forgiving Carly after she lied to her and Nina for almost a year. She didn't want to cut her off or anything, but she certainly didn't want to live with her so soon. Michael assured her though that it wouldn't be for long and she'd be able to help with the children. Willow wondered why Olivia or Brooklyn couldn't help out instead since they lived just at the main house, but she just went along with it because she didn't want to argue.
She could finally hold Amelia on her own and didn't want to leave hers or Wiley's side. Nina dropped by a few times check on Willow, but Carly wouldn't leave them alone. Willow wasn't sure if she should tell Nina about Carly knowing the truth since Harmony's death because she didn't want to cause more conflict in the family.
Saturday finally rolled around and it was the first time Carly left the house. She took Donna to the hairdressers to get her ready for her role as flower girl. Nina and Sasha came over to help Willow get ready. It finally hit Willow that none of the guests at their first wedding were there for her. It was all of Michael's family and they had no friends there because of the scheme Sasha and Chase pulled to bring them together. In fact, Willow wasn't even sure if she and Michael would've gotten together if Carly, Sasha, and Chase didn't orchestrate it. Nonetheless, she loved Michael and she was glad to marry him out of her own free will this time and not because she felt coerced.
Willow changed into her dress and walked down the stairs. Amelia was in a little white gown, lying in the carrier. And Wiley was already in his suit holding Nina's hand and holding the ring pillow in his free hand.
"Mommy!" Wiley ran over to her. "You look beautiful."
Nina placed a hand over her heart. "You do look beautiful."

"All right, everyone, please take your seats," Olivia said as she straightened some of the flowers on the chairs. "We're about to begin."
Carly took a seat on the front right side with Josslyn, Avery, and Kristina. Behind them, Bobbie, Lucas, and the Quartermaines sat.
Carly glanced over and rolled her eyes when Liesl and Britt occupied the front row with Sonny. Some of the hospital staff sat behind them. Moments later, Nina arrived with Amelia in the carrier and sat beside Sonny, Liesl, and Britt.
At the front, Michael and Chase took their positions next to the priest and watched as the music started and Wiley and Donna started walking down the aisle and stood at the front with Michael.
Next, Sasha walked up, smiling, and stood across from Michael and Chase.
Finally, the music changed, and everyone rose. Willow linked her arm through Ned's, and he walked her up the aisle.
Michael just beamed and he took Willow's hands in his.

Nelle approached the doctor's office at the mental hospital and knocked on the door. "Hello? Doctor Watson?"
"Hello, Miss Isla." He smiled at her. "Is there something I can help you with?"
She walked in and sat in front of his desk. "I keep thinking over and over about the little information I do know about my life and I remembered something I never told you."
"What is it?"
"Well, Luke kept telling me that both of our families are bad and toxic," she said.
"Right, but what is the new information that you're remembering?"
Nelle swallowed hard. "That the cliff I fell off was near a city called Port Charles and that is where our family is."
He smiled. "This is very important information."
"When we got excommunicated from the friends, he was contemplating what we should do. He wondered if we should go back to Port Charles where we have connections. And later he told me that his father is a mobster."
The doctor nodded. "Isla, I am very dedicated to helping you. I will look into this and figure out if there's anyone missing in Port Charles to your description."

"Should anyone present know of any reason that this couple should not be joined in holy matrimony, speak now or forever hold your peace," the priest said.
Michael and Willow glanced around the room, and everyone started laughing.
Even the priest chuckled. "All right, if there's no one—"
"I object!" Everyone whipped around to find Morgan standing at the back of the room.
"Morgan!" Carly gasped and threw her hand over her mouth.
Sonny stared at him in awe.
"That's right, I know of a couple reasons why they should not be joined in holy matrimony," Morgan said. He locked eyes with Willow. "Run while you still can."
Sonny and Carly made their way over to him and Carly threw her arms around him. You're alive!"
Sonny patted his back. "Are you okay? What happened?"
Morgan pulled away from Carly and shook his head. "Yeah, I'm alive. And you never would've known if you didn't take my wife!"
Sonny and Carly exchanged confused looks.
Olivia rose to her feet. "Perhaps we should take a small break. You know, get the children upstairs and we'll proceed in say thirty minutes?"
Everyone cleared out, except for Sonny, Carly, Michael, Willow, Dante, Kristina, Josslyn, Bobbie, Drew, and even Nina hung around. Brooklyn and Chase took the children with them.
"What's going on, Morgan?" Michael asked. "We all thought you were dead."
Kristina and Josslyn took turns hugging him.
"The explosion," Carly said. "Julian and Ava and Liv—"
"Of course you'd blame anyone else but yourselves," Morgan said. "What else is new?"
"It was their fault," Carly expressed. "The car bomb—"
"I escaped."
"How?" Josslyn asked.
"I had help."
"From who?" Dante asked.
He stared over at Nina. "From Madeline Reeves."
Everyone gasped and looked over at Nina.

"What's wrong, Brooklyn?" Wiley asked upstairs in the nursery. "Why did my mommy and daddy's wedding stop? Was that my Uncle Morgan that I see in pictures?"
Brooklyn nodded. "Yes, buddy. That was your uncle Morgan. Everyone is just so happy to see him that they want to spend some time with him right now. And we'll continue your mommy and daddy's wedding, later, okay?"
"Okay." He hugged her.
GHGHGH
"My mother helped you escape?" Nina asked appalled. "Why?"
"She felt bad for me," Morgan said and glanced at Sonny and Carly. "Having to put up with you all these years."
"I don't know what Madeline's been putting in your head all this time, but you're our son and we love you," Carly said.
Sonny nodded. "Your mother is right. We were devastated after we lost you."
"She wasn't putting anything in my head," Morgan said. "It was you guys who have been twisting things my whole life. I wasn't going to be one of your puppets, Mom, and I never will be. You will never twist things in my head and you will never choose a woman for me like you had to with Jason and Michael."
Willow scrunched her face.
"Why don't you take a deep breath," Kristina suggested. "Where were you all this time?"
Morgan locked eyes with Carly. "At the Friends of Peace and Love commune in Denver, Colorado."
Willow's eyes grew wide.
Carly's mouth dropped slightly, and she stared at Morgan.
"That's right, Mom," Morgan said. "Or should I say Sister Bertha?... I'm Luke. Would you like to tell them the rest?"
Carly's breathing sped up.
"Sister Bertha? Luke?" Sonny raised an eyebrow. "What's going on, Carly?"
"Morgan, maybe we can go somewhere to talk, just us—"
"Why?" Morgan asked. "Are you embarrassed to tell everyone who my wife is? Or do you not want everyone to find out what you've done?"
"Morgan, please—"
"Fine," Morgan said. "I'll tell them myself. Mom came to the friends to sabotage a search."
Willow's mouth dropped slightly. "Drew's search for my family…." She looked over at Nina.
"And she was surprised to find my wife," Morgan continued. "Tell them who my wife is, Mom."
"Fine." Carly turned to Nina and Willow. "His wife is Nelle."
Nina shot up and moved closer to them. "Nelle? You found Nelle?"
Willow stared at the floor. Michael ran his hand through his hair.
"And she took advantage of Nelle," Morgan said. "You see, Nelle has had amnesia ever since Madeline and I found her at the cliffside. She still hasn't gotten her memory back. We took her in, and she and I stayed at the friends ever since. Madeline would pop in to check on us, but never stayed long. Nelle and I fell in love. Though we never told her her real name or anything about her past. She might've returned here to be stuck with all of you shunning her again if we did."
"So, Nelle is at this commune?" Nina asked.
"Not anymore." Morgan looked at Carly again. "Care to tell them how you got us ex-communicated or should I?"
"Wait a minute," Sonny said, squinting his eyes. "Did you know our son was alive, Carly?"
"Of course not!" Carly said appalled.
"No, she didn't," Morgan agreed. "I hid from her. But you never did think, Mom, that lying to everyone about Nelle would keep you and Dad from finding out about me, did you? How's that for karma?"
Carly clenched her jaw.
"Where is my daughter?" Nina practically shouted.
"I'm getting to that," Morgan said. "So, Mom comes to the friends, and Josiah calls her Sister Bertha. She be-friends my wife and convinces her to get tested for bone marrow for her friend back home."
Willow gasped. "So, Nelle was my donor."
Morgan nodded. "Mom used Nelle's amnesia and her naivety—"
"Naivety?" Michael said appalled. "Nelle is anything but naïve."
"—to donate her bone marrow to a stranger. A stranger to whom Nelle didn't know was such a stranger after all, but her twin sister."
"Let me get this straight," Nina said looking directly at Morgan. "You worked with my mother to keep Nelle in a commune without telling her a thing about her past, about her son, about her family? You basically held her hostage at this commune?"
"How does it feel, Nina?" Carly spoke up. "Sound familiar? Like when you held Sonny hostage in Nixon Falls?"
"Carly, don't," Sonny said.
"And you, Carly?" Nina continued. "Not once, but twice you kept my daughter from me? First when you discovered Nelle was my daughter, you said nothing. And now you found her alive and well in a commune but didn't say anything? Then you trick her into donating bone marrow? And made all of us think that you were the donor?"
Willow cleared her throat. "And she sabotaged Drew's—my search for my family."
Nina scoffed. "Why would you do that, Carly?"
"Because she was covering for months that you're my mother," Willow said. "Harmony told her on her death bed."
Nina charged over to Carly and tackled her to the ground and began punching her face. "What is wrong with you? You SELFISH B!tch!"
Sonny pulled her off and Michael helped Carly to her feet.
"All I've been hearing for a year," Nina said. "You kept saying over and over how I was wrecking your family. What about my family?" She started choking up. "How could you keep me away from my children?"
"You can lash out at me all you want," Carly said, wiping her bloody nose. "After I talk to my son."
Nina tried jumping at her again, but Sonny kept a grip on her arms. "Don't tell me what to do. You monster."
Sonny rubbed her back. "Okay, deep breath. I'm not pleased with Carly either. But right now, we need more answers. Morgan, where is Nelle now?"
"I don't know," Morgan said. "Madeline took us to one of her houses on Wellington Way. That's where we saw you, Nina, and a bunch of police cars. After that Madeline never returned. We started running out of money and food. I went to look for a job and returned to find Nelle gone. That was over three weeks ago. I thought maybe one of you brought her back here."
"I'm sure Nelle is okay." Sonny looked between Nina and Morgan. "Curtis, Spinelli, and Sam are already looking for her. If we all work together—"
"Excuse me," Michael cut in. "Why are we looking for Nelle? We're all better off with her as far away as possible. After everything that she's done to us. She's not getting anywhere near Wiley."
"I agree," Carly said. "This is why I kept quiet. To protect our family from Nelle's psychotic-ness."
"See? This is exactly why I stayed away," Morgan said. "Here, Mom has lied, kept secrets, yet she still displays herself as the heroine and acts like everyone else has wronged her."
"Forget about Carly," Sonny said. "We will help you find Nelle."
"But Dad," Morgan said. "It's like finding a needle in a haystack. Nelle could be anywhere. She's been living at the friends for two and a half years and only went out a few times, and I was always with her. She has no car, no money. No memory of who she is. She goes by Isla now and has no last name. She doesn't know how to get around. No means of contacting me. Wherever she is… if someone has her, she has no means of escaping. She's extremely vulnerable and can easily be manipulated. Just look at how Mom manipulated her. Someone could tell her to walk off another cliff and she won't even question their motives."
A scream pierced the air. Everyone whipped around to find Dex holding Willow at gunpoint.
