Chapter 31

New Recruit

"Princess…come with me," Alpha says as she leads the drill haired blonde toward their base. Under the large statue. Out side of the underground base, the 6 Shades are waiting for her to greet their new member.

Rose Oriana, who ran away due to some terrible events, was found by Alpha and offered her to join Shadow Garden to help the innocents. Rose accepted immediately and followed the beautiful blonde elf toward their base of operations. It's night time as well.

"Everyone," Alpha says as she gestures toward Rose. "We have a new recruit that will be joining Shadow Garden."

Rose bravely bows to the group before her. "My name is Rose Oriana. A pleasure to meet you all."

Each member of Shadow Garden takes a step forward to introduce themselves.

"My name is Beta. An honor to meet you."

"I'm Gamma. A pleasure, Princess."

"I'm Delta, nanodesu! Let's play together some time!"

"I'm Zeta. An honor to meet you."

"My name is Epsilon. Let's get along~"

"Eta….a pleasure…to meet you…"

Rose looks at each member with smiles on their faces as the introduction ends. Alpha gently taps her on the shoulder, making her turn around to face the fearless leader.

"Now that you are part of Shadow Garden," the blonde elf says, her soft, beautiful voice caressing Rose's ears. "I hereby give you a name: No. 666. You will be joining No. 664 and No. 665 momentarily after you undergo training."

"Training?" Rose inquires.

"Shadow Garden is a serious organization, you see," Alpha says. "It takes large amounts of training in order to take on dangerous missions. Before doing any of this, you must fulfill a contract."

"You mean I must sign it?" Rose asks.

"No," Alpha shakes her head and smiles, approaching the princess. "I have something better than signing any old paper~" She raises her hand to gently caress Rose's cheek.

Rose's eyes widen a bit as Alpha leans in to kiss her on the lips. The other 6 Shades chorus, "Ohhhhhh~!" as Alpha continues to kiss Rose. It's a brief one though, but the princess doesn't mind. She accepts the blonde elf's kiss. When the two pull away, Alpha tucks a strand of hair away from Rose's face.

"That's our contract," Alpha says.

Rose gasps softly. The light wind blows, making both of their glorious long golden manes sway gracefully. She blushes from staring at Alpha's beautiful appearance. Her heart is beating rapidly as she can feel it from her fist on her chest.

"Alpha…sama…" Rose mutters, making the blonde elf chuckle.

"That's right," Alpha says. "Welcome to Shadow Garden, No. 666." She looks up to her other members, nodding to them, letting them know that they can properly welcome Rose in open arms.

Delta is the first to jump toward the former princess. She hugs her tightly and gives her several licks on the cheek happily, making Rose laugh from the tickling of the tongue.

"Let's play together, nanodesu!" Delta squeals. "We'll have lots of fun hunting together, eating together and maybe sleep together, nanodesu! Hehehehe!"

Zeta face palms. "You're overly excited, Doggy."

"Delta…" Alpha gives a death glare, making the dog beast-hop away immediately.

"EEK! Y-yes, Alpha-sama…uuuuu…!"

Gamma steps in and smiles. "We're very glad to have you here, No. 666. Feel free to swing by Mitsugoshi to try my latest products~"

"I can play some lovely music for you if you want to relax," Epsilon offers.

"And me…I can show you my novels~" Beta says.

"Wait, novels?" Rose asks.

"Yes, I'm a writer," The silver haired elf says.

"Wait…so you're actually…" Rose points a shaky finger as Beta takes out her glasses and puts them on. "Natsume! You're Natsume!?"

"Hehe! Indeed I am," Beta puts away her glasses just in time for Rose to rush in and take her hands in her own.

"I'm so thrilled! I look forward to your next book!" Rose says excitedly. "I'll be the first to read it~!"

Beta giggles. The members gather around the former princess, talking and laughing while Rose gets to know each of the members. Alpha, on the other hand, smiles as she crosses her arms under her bosom. Suddenly, a beautiful dark elf approaches her. She has long silver hair tied in a side pony-tail, wearing a military hat and cloak over her bodysuit.

"We have a new recruit, Alpha-sama?" The dark elf asks.

"Yes, Lambda," Alpha replies. "Train her well. I can see this young woman has potential and could help Shadow Garden."

"Will do, Alpha-sama," Lambda says.

Alpha turns toward the former princess, who is smiling and having a great time. She is glad to see that smiling face of Rose.

A/N: I never expected episode 20 to add THAT for Rose's welcoming ceremony. Like that is stuff of nightmares if you were forced to forget EVERYTHING, including who you are.

Anyways, this is my version of Rose's welcoming ceremony. Hope you like it.
