Welcome back! I've been having a bit of a hard time with my mental health lately, but I wanted to get this next chapter out, so I hope you enjoy it!
The ride back to Charming was a conflicting one, Tilly was relieved to be going home, but at the same time it was weirdly sad leaving Bridgette's. The mother she never knew she had, the one she always assumed didn't want her, had wanted her, she had missed Tilly, and despite moving on with her life, Tilly hadn't been out of her thoughts. It was a strange feeling, but she'd left with the knowledge that she wouldn't be a stranger to them anymore- and that was kind of nice.
When she got back to Charming she drove home where she found Happy's bike sitting in the driveway. She parked next to it and walked into the house before tossing her purse onto the table. "Babe?" she called.
"Back here!" she heard him call from the bedroom and she walked down the hall to the bedroom. When she got there she saw him closing his backpack, packing for his trip no doubt, and when she walked around him, she saw that the Nomad patch had been taken off of his cut. "You patched in?" she asked and he smiled as he looked at her.
"Yeah," he nodded.
"Koz?" she asked and he shook his head. "Tig?"
"You called it,"
"Well, he should stick around anyways," she shrugged.
"That's what your dad said," he admitted and she smiled.
"Let me sew that on for you before you go," she offered, turning to go get the sewing kit before Happy's hand caught her arm and he turned her back to him. He leaned in and pressed his lips to hers, and Tilly wrapped her arms around his neck, melting into the kiss as he moved his other hand to the back of her head.
"Plane leaves at six," he reminded her, speaking against her lips as he moved his hands down to her thighs. He wrapped his arms around her legs and lifted her onto the bed before he pushed the backpack off of the bed. Off went his cut and Tilly sat up, pulling her shirt over her head before she leaned back into the kiss.
Happy's hands fumbled with her bra and she giggled against his lips before he bit at her bottom lip and managed to unhook the bra. The feeling of the straps moving down her arms at his quick pace let her know everything she needed to know about what this round had in store for her and she moaned against his lips. "Mm," his hands were warm, the rings he wore on his fingers were cool and she bit his soft lip lightly.
"You good?" he asked, his hands still gripping her breasts, his thumbs moving around her nipples in circles.
"Yeah," she said as she started to unbuckle his belt.
"No pain?" he asked and she frowned lightly before realizing what he meant. This was the first time they'd had sex since the abortion.
"I'm good," she assured him before she lifted her hands to cup his cheeks. She pulled him down and gave him another kiss before she started to kiss his neck, his chest, she ran her nails down his sides and he groaned as he moved his hands down to the waistband of her pants.
The next time they broke their kisses it was for him to pull her pants down her legs, then push his own down his hips. He was hard, and she bit her lip before she moved to the edge of the bed and started to kiss down his chest again. His hand moved to the back of her copper curls, and he groaned softly, threading his fingers through her hair as she ran her lips down his body. She looked up at him and smiled before she moved further down, kissing from the snake, to his happy face tattoos and then further.
His hand tightened in her hair as she ran her lips over his hardening length before running her tongue over his tip. He groaned softly and she smiled before parting her lips and taking him further into her mouth. His hips rocked as she started to move over his cock, sucking and moaning around him, his hands threading into her hair while she ran her own nails down his thighs.
"Oh fuck Baby," he groaned before he gripped her hair with both hands and pulled her off of his cock. "I am not cumming in your mouth," he told her as he stared down into her eyes. "Get on the bed."
"I want you to cum in my mouth," she protested and he shook his head.
"Absolutely not," he told her as he moved his hands from her hair and snapped his fingers. "Bed, now."
Tilly giggled as she stood up, she loved when Happy got into a mood like that, and she hopped onto the bed before moving to her knees. He wrapped his arms around her waist and leaned in, kissing her deeply while she cupped his face.
"Where are you gonna cum?" she asked, grinning against his lips as she moved one hand from his face to wrap around his hard cock.
"I'm cumming in that sweet little pussy of yours," he said against her lips before nibbling at her bottom lip again. Tilly grinned at his promise before groaning as he moved his hand to her thigh. When his fingers entered her, Tilly felt a slight discomfort, apparently she was still a little sore, but she disregarded it the moment his thumb met her clit, a small groan escaping her lips as he began to circle it. "That's right baby," he whispered. "That's right."
The two lay together afterwards and Tilly sighed before looking up at Happy while he ran his fingers lazily through her curls. A ring caught on one of her curls and she hissed in discomfort, making him try to pull his hand away from her hair. "Ow ow- that's worse!" She whined and he just slipped the ring off of his hand. She laughed as she untangled her hair from his ring and then sighed, laying her head against his chest again.
"Sorry baby," he said softly and she sighed.
"It's fine," she said, running her hand over his chest. "So Ireland huh?" She asked and he nodded.
"Yeah,"
"So, Landon- my, I don't know, my step dad I guess- he's pretty wealthy," she said as she looked up at him.
"Oh yeah?" He asked and looked down at her.
"Mhmm," she replied before kissing his chest. "I guess my… Bridgette," she shrugged. "Anyways, she's been saving money for me for like- my whole life," she explained and he sat up a little, frowning as he did.
"How much money?" He asked.
"I need to go through all of the statements, but it's some sort of trust thing," she shrugged. "And Landon, he bought me a ticket to Ireland,"
"What?" He sat up further. "Why would he do that?"
"I don't know, because he said he wanted to help,"
"No," Happy said and she frowned.
"Honey, this is a good thing," she replied. "I can go to Ireland with you and help look for Abel,"
"Why, because some rich people who never bothered trying to help you out think that now they get to be a part of your life because they have money?" He asked and she frowned as she sat up more.
"I'm confused- are you upset about me having money, or me coming to Ireland?"
"Who the fuck do these yuppies think they are?" He growled. "When is your flight?"
"It's tonight,"
"You're not going," he stated and Tilly frowned.
"Like hell I'm not," she replied and he shook his head.
"You're staying here Tilly," he told her. "You don't need to go,"
"Well, I'm going," she replied and he scowled.
"You don't get to just decide that, you don't get to just do whatever you want," he snarled as she started to get out of the bed.
"And you don't get to dictate what I do," she replied as she sat up completely.
"We'll talk about this- all of this- when I get back,"
"When you get back you're going to prison," she pointed out. "But maybe that'll be best, at least I'll know you can't dip out on a conversation,"
"This isn't happening," he said as he pulled on his boxers and then looked at her. "You're staying here,"
"You don't get to make that decision," she replied as she put her hands on her hips. He looked down at her for a long moment before he shook his head.
"You don't get it do you? Belfast, it's not just some fun place we're going to for a good time- we're risking our asses to go there!" He shouted at her. "We're risking our asses to get your nephew back, and we could die,"
"Then that's all the more reason to let me go with you," she insisted as she took his hands, looking up at him pleadingly. "Happy," she sat up on her knees and cupped his face with both hands before kissing his cheek softly. The prickly feeling of his five o'clock shadow under her hands and lips were familiar and comfortable to her, his scent was grounding and she knew what ye was trying to say, but didn't have the words to say. "Honey, I can't let you go if you may not come back," he moved his hand to her elbows and pressed his forehead against hers with a deep sigh.
"SAMNOV keeps looking better and better," he admitted softly and she smiled gently before pressing a kiss to his soft lips.
"I love you," she whispered before pecking his lips again. She kissed them a few more times before he buried a hand in the back of her hair and pulled her into a deep, loving kiss. She moaned gently against his lips, and let him guide her back onto the bed.
Tilly drove him to the plane that evening, it wasn't like a normal plane, it was a cargo plane and she was thankful that she'd brought an extra sweatshirt for Happy.
"Hey Princess," Bobby said when he saw Tilly getting out of her car. "You doing okay?"
"I'm fine," she told him as she gave him a gentle smile. "How are you?"
"It's been a couple days," he nodded and she nodded back.
"I get that," she agreed before looking around at the guys who were assembling before she looked over at Chibs who held his arms out to her. She immediately moved into them and sighed as he rested his cheek against the top of her head.
"Oh Tilly girl, it's been a shitstorm hasn't it?" He asked and she nodded against his chest. "Where've you been?" He asked and she sighed.
"I've been figuring out some stuff," she admitted and he gave her a squeeze.
"Well next time I see you, I want to hear all about it," he said and she smiled knowing that would be sooner than he expected.
"I can't wait to tell you all about it," she said softly and he gave her a tight squeeze. She looked up at him and kissed his cheek before she hugged Bobby who gave her a tight squeeze back.
"You waiting for your dad and brother?" Bobby asked and she shook her head.
"No, I got shit to do," she told him. "But I'll see you guys soon, okay? Chibby, you watch out for them," she pointed at Chibs who gave her a wink.
"You know it Darlin'," he promised.
She turned to Happy then who stepped up to her and put his hands on her shoulders with a deep sigh while she put her hands on his waist. "No chance I can talk you out of it?" he asked softly and she shook her head. He squeezed her shoulders lightly and then leaned in and pressed his forehead to hers. "I'll see you there," he whispered and she smiled before raising her hands to cup his face. She kissed him deeply and he kissed her back, wrapping his arms around her tightly before the Sons who where there let out a few whistles and hoots. Tilly broke the kiss with a smile and buried her face in his neck before she wrapped her arms around him and hugged him tightly.
"I love you," she whispered against his neck and he turned his head to kiss her temple before he let go of her.
"Fly safe," he said and she smiled at him before leaning in to peck his lips one more time.
When Tilly had graduated High School her parents had asked her what she'd wanted for her Graduation Present. They had ended up getting her a car at a very steep discount, due to some sort of connections they had with the dealership owner, but they had also paid for her to go for a long weekend to Mexico. They'd sort of ruined the surprise by telling Tilly about it months in advance so she could get a passport, but it had worked out because she was the only person in her family who had a valid passport in years.
Sure her dad had been to Belfast years ago, but that had been so long ago, it didn't matter now. She hadn't been trans-Atlantic before though, hell, she'd never even seen the Atlantic before, so this trip was going to be interesting to say in the least.
The flight was amazing, she'd never flown first class before, everyone was so nice, and while people slept, Tilly thought about the plan. What was she really doing? If she was honest, going to Ireland, it was an insane decision that she didn't know how to justify even to herself, but there was just something about the idea of all of them flying out that made her uneasy. It wasn't safe, not for all of them, not while all of this shit just kept piling up. So she'd go, she'd help find Abel where she could, and do whatever she needed to to keep them alive, and when she got home, she'd figure out the rest of this shit.
Between the ten hour flight, and the time difference, it felt like Tilly had lost an entire day by the time she got to Ireland, and after getting her baggage and getting through immigration she was sore, and exhausted. She just wanted to get a cab, and get to wherever the hell she could so that she could sleep, so after getting through customs she stepped outside into the midafternoon weather and found taxis everywhere.
After speaking to a cab driver, she stowed her luggage in the boot and climbed in, before he started to drive her to her destination. The cabbie, luckily wasn't too chatty, and after accepting that the silence from his fare, he kept his mouth shut and drove. It was only when they got to Ashby's store that Tilly noticed the hand-written sign hung up in the front of the cab stating CASH ONLY.
"Let me run in real fast," Tilly pleaded with the cabbie. "My friend will give me the cash," God she hoped that that was true, but the Cabbie nodded and after she stepped into the store, she looked around before spotting someone she did definitely know, and who she had almost entirely forgotten about. "Cherry," she said in surprise and the girl looked over before her mouth dropped open.
"Oh- Oh my god, Tilly?" she asked before rushing around the counter to hug her tightly. "Holy shit, I wasn't expecting you to come out too! Where is everyone?"
"Not here yet," Tilly said as they hugged. "Hey, listen, can I borrow some cash to pay the cabbie, and then I'll explain everything," she said and Cherry nodded eagerly.
"Yeah, yeah, hey, Maureen, I'll be right back!" she called towards the back before both girls walked outside and Tilly grabbed her bag from the trunk while Cherry paid the cabbie. When he drove away Cherry beamed up at Tilly who smiled back at her.
"You need to get back inside?" she nodded to the shop and Cherry shook her head.
"Nah, she'll be okay for a minute," she said as she pulled a pack of cigarettes from her pocket and held it out to Tilly. Tilly took one and accepted the light from Cherry before she took a long drag of the cigarette. "So, what's going on? I know everyone's coming out here, they're supposed to be here later today?"
"Yeah," Tilly nodded. "They didn't exactly fly commercial, so they're going to take a little longer to get here," she said as she stretched and then remembered she'd turned her phone off when she was on the plane. "Actually, they should have already landed," she said as she pulled her phone out of her purse and turned it on. After it started up, she realized she did indeed have a text from Happy from awhile ago telling her they had made it through the first part of their trip.
"So, all of this, it's for Jax's son?" she asked and Tilly nodded as she typed out a reply to Happy.
"Yeah, it's club shit," Tilly mumbled.
"Hey, I'm an old lady now," Cherry said and Tilly looked over at her before smiling softly.
"Good for you," she said softly before she lowered the phone slightly. "Hey, I- I'm sorry about Sack," she said as she closed her phone and put it back in her purse. "You know it was Cameron who did it right?"
"Yeah," Cherry nodded and took a longer drag from her cigarette. "Yeah, I talked to Montana about a week ago,"
"Right," Tilly said softly. "Sorry I didn't tell you, I didn't know how to get in touch with you,"
"Hey why would you?" she asked as she looked at Tilly. "You're the president's daughter- and I'm just a sweet-butt,"
"Well, not anymore," Tilly pointed out and Cherry smiled.
"Yeah, you'll like him, his name's Liam," she said and Tilly smiled slightly as she took another drag from her cigarette and then looked over at the store when she saw an older blonde woman standing there. "Oh, Maureen, this is Tilly Morrow," Cherry said as she tossed her cigarette into the street and looked at the woman, who Tilly now knew to be Maureen Ashby.
"It's nice to meet you," Tilly said as she stepped over. "My mother sends her regards,"
"Gemma?" Cherry asked with a slight scoff. "Honestly, that's more scary than anything," Cherry whispered and Maureen glanced at Cherry and then back to Tilly.
"You don't mean Gemma do ya?" she asked and Tilly shook her head. "Bridgette was a good friend of mine," she said to Tilly gently. "While I didn't exactly agree with how she handled everything, she was a good woman,"
"I'm just kind of learning that myself," Tilly told her and Maureen nodded before she looked at Cherry.
"Why don't you cover the shop for a bit? I'm going to take Matilda upstairs, let her settle down up there for a bit before the boys get back,"
"Okay," Cherry said as she looked between Tilly and Maureen.
"This your bag?" Maureen asked and Tilly smiled at her.
"Don't worry, I've got it," she said, but Maureen grabbed it regardless.
The two went upstairs, above the shop where an apartment that was very well lived in was waiting for them. "I wasn't expecting you to be here," Maureen said and Tilly nodded.
"Yeah, trust me, no one is," she said as she sank down onto the couch and ran her hand through her curls. "Honestly, if I were you, I'd prepare for a big fight about this,"
"Good to know," Maureen said dryly. "So why did you come then?"
"I spent a good chunk of my time on the plane asking myself that," she admitted and then looked at Maureen. "I think, part of it is because my husband's going to be here, part of it is because of my nephew, and part of it," she sighed and then looked at Maureen. "I met Bridgette for the first time the day after yesterday, and she told me some stuff about what it was like back in the day," she explained. "And I realized, my whole family has been lying to me about my entire life," she said as she leaned down and unzipped her boots before kicking them off. "And I'm fucking sick of being dicked around about my life, I'm sick of everyone else having a say in what I do, what I know, all of it. So Bridgette's husband bought me a ticket, and I'm here, to help with my family, and to get the missing pieces of my life,"
"Well," Maureen sighed as she looked at Tilly. "I can't say I'm looking forward to that discussion with your Dad when he gets here," she hesitated and then nodded. "But I get what you're saying. There's been a lot of secrets over the years. Guess eventually they'd come to a head." She sighed again before putting her hand on Tilly's shoulder and then let go and went to the hallway. When she came back it was with a pillow that she held out to Tilly. "Get some rest while you can. They should all be here in a few hours. I reckon things'll come out as they do then,"
"Thanks," Tilly said as she took the pillow and then laid it down on the couch. She laid down on the couch as Maureen moved around the apartment for a few minutes, and then she went back downstairs to the shop while Tilly closed her eyes. She'd just take a quick power nap, and then when everyone got here- well, she'd have to do her best to help while getting what it was she wanted.
I hope you're still liking the story!
