Chapter 14 - Wabbit Season

Kassi snapped awake, the pain and exhaustion of her body bringing reality into sharp focus. She was once again back to her normal body and though her clothes were once again clean and fresh, they were quickly soaked by the sweat and cum that had coated her when she must have reverted. Motes of dust and pollen floated above her as she lay panting in the tall grass, staring at lazy clouds drifting high above.

That was a dream? But it all felt so…real. Kassi swore she could still taste Rei's lip balm on her lips; until she actually licked her lips and the taste of spicy Rapidash cum filled her mouth. Kassi closed her eyes against the deep pang of anguish that washed over her at that moment. Of course it had been a dream. You could make anything you wanted just appear. A single hot tear rolled down Kassi's cheek as she continued to stare into the bright blue sky; thinking back over the wonderful dream, specifically how amazing it had been to spend time with Rei again. The anguish was suddenly replaced with a warm sense of contentment as she recalled the extremely vivid dream.

For a few minutes Kassi just layed there, trying to lock as much of the dream into her memory as she could. The sounds, smells, and feelings of all those around her. She lay there ruminating until her clothing started to dry and crust over in the sun. As she made the attempt to sit up, her body screamed in protest. Her stomach ached and it felt like her groin and womb had been used as a punching bag for a Machamp. With a moan of agony that would have made a Duskull proud, Kassi managed to sit up and take stock of her situation.

"Wow…my voice sure is…horse," the chuckle that escaped at her own horrible Mom joke sounded like two Geodude playing patty-cake.

Cool water lapped at the edges of the pond where she'd cornered the Rapidash and the tall grass carried the wind's waves further to the horizon. She was upwind of the trampled area where she and the Rapidash had tumbled in their maddened lust, for which she was grateful as visible puddles of fluids dotted the ground.

"I don't even remember half of what happened with that Rapidash. That red button is dangerous. Emergencies only from now on." She groaned to herself, voice hoarse from overuse in gulping down the giant member of her prey. Reaching into her satchel, she retrieved one of the super potions Volo had given her and quickly downed its contents. The bitter taste of the medicine was quickly overshadowed by the immense relief she felt as her body started to recover.

Once her body felt partially back to normal, she retrieved the Pokeball containing the Rapidash and made her way to the pond. Cyndi and Kenshin appeared and agreed to keep watch on her as she cleaned herself and her clothes. One washed, a quick shift to her centaur form and back to normal saw her clothes back to rights, and the heady scent of her mating was softened.

"Alright guys. This next one might be tricky, so stay ready to assist me." She gave the two Pokemon each a peck on their cheeks before returning them to their balls, pulled out the Arc Phone, and hit the fast travel for the Heights Camp. A couple of guards startled as she popped into existence inside the camp, but Kassi didn't pay them a second glance. Phone still in hand, she set a destination on her map where the reports indicated an Alpha Lopunny had been spotted and chased the security Corps off several times in the past two weeks. That location now fixed in her mind, she jogged out of the camp heading southeast.

As she set off she took just a moment to flip through the achievements that had popped up after her rut with the Rapidash.

What the hell? Now I have to worry about knocking up my Pokemon too? Kassi let an audible growl escape, Grr…should invest in mothersbane stock now. Get rich off of just my purchases alone. Damn you Arceus.

She opened the new App and saw something that looked like a battery bar. It was currently empty. Below that bar were pictures of each of her Pokemon, including the Rapidash she'd just captured. On each picture was a smaller battery bar that ranged from empty for Cyndi, half-full for Hero, and nearly full for the Rapidash. She tapped the Rapidash picture and a transfer button with a slider popped up. Sliding it all the way to the right got her up to 85%. She hit transfer and the battery at the top of the app filled a small amount while emptying completely from the Rapidash. Nothing beyond that happened, so she shrugged, put away the device, then continued on her way.

Angry geodude harassed her progress as she left the safety of the camp and Ivy and Kenshin made quick work of the wild Pokemon. Remembering an idea she'd had for helping the fields back in the village, she took the time to catch a trio of Geodude after they'd been knocked out to take back with her.

"Kenny, do you think I'm doing something bad by catching Pokemon just to give them a job?" She asked as they navigated a steep incline that led towards a river that bisected the valley.

The Oshawott looked contemplative for a second, then shook his head.

"They will be fed, housed, and cared for in exchange for their work; Correct?"

"That's my intention. Hopefully even form a bond with one of the villagers and find a family. But, if they truly desire their freedom after I make the offer I will release them back into the wild." She dropped off a short cut in the land and landed with knees bent a few feet below.

Rather than climb the distance himself, Kenshin hopped the short way to Kassi's shoulder, then perched himself there with a satisfied grunt, lacing his paws into her hair to hold on as she started to walk once more.

"If that is your offer, I do not see a problem with it. They can choose and will live a better life than what's available in the wild," Ivy added as she flapped in circles overhead.

"Why's that?"

"They don't move much and wait for prey to come to them, but that also makes them an easy snack if you know how to find them and can break their shells," Ivy said.

"And adult Graveler and Golem will sometimes eat the small and infant ones too. Easier minerals to digest," Kenshin nodded along.

"Wait, how do you two know all this? Aren't you, like, hatchlings?" There was a mental scoff from the pair that came back at Kassi even as she said it.

"We are each almost 4 seasons old," Ivy said, ruffling her feathers as she glided.

"Only reason we're not evolved or bigger is because the Professor kept us in those balls while we crossed the big water." Kenshin thought about those days. While it was hard to remember time spent in a PokeBall, glimpses and sensations did come through slowly. He remembered feeling the bob of waves for weeks on end as they'd traversed to this strange land.

"Then, we traversed this land with the Professor for the hot season before you arrived." Ivy spotted another Geodude that was in Kassi's path and quickly dispatched it with a Leafage before it could strike her Trainer. "Three!" She let out a screech of victory.

Kenshin stiffened, then set his head back on a swivel, he couldn't let that fluffed up battle junky outshine him!

After they'd cleared some of the cliffs, the next challenge came with a flock of Starly around a mating pair of Staravia that harassed their passing. Kenshin and Ivy were able to scare off the Starly easily enough, but it took additional effort from Storm to chase off the irritated Staravia.

Ivy used some vines to help Kassi descend the rest of the way off the cliffs and a shallow valley cut the land ahead of them that led down to the riverbank. Pichu and Pikachu dashed in and out of patches of grass as she approached. Under a copse of trees across the valley from Kassi she could see a pair of Paras gnawing at the exposed roots of a gnarled maple tree. Kreketot sang their merry tune in the sunshine and Kassi stopped for a second to take a mental snapshot as she looked in awe at the untouched beauty of nature before her.

Her goal was a land bridge that crossed the river and would keep her from having to swim. The Professor had noted that the land bridge had likely formed due to a collective of Bidoof and Bibarel making a dam there.

"Only problem is that big dumb goofball on the other side." She mumbled as she looked across the river. On the other side a huge Bibarel was sleeping in the sun on its back. Looking around there were other Bibarel splashing up and down the bank, gathering lumber in the nearby woods, or tending to the Bidoof that rolled around happily in the grass. This one was four times the size of the largest she saw and that could really only mean one thing. "Alpha…great."

The notes she'd read hadn't mentioned any Alphas in this area, so it was a bit surprising to find one here.

Storm, Kenshin, and Ivy all huddled around her and took stock of the situation.

"Think we could just sneak past it?" She whispered. There was still enough distance and noise coming from the river and Pokemon activity around her that she probably didn't need to bother, but she didn't want to risk it.

All three Pokemon shook their heads and Kenshin pointed to his nose.

She looked around, the water was moving quickly and Kenshin wasn't large enough yet to get her safely across its width while towing her. "Hmm…wish I knew how strong it was."

The ArcPhone pinged and she quickly grabbed it out of her satchel.

Special Achievement Incomplete: Underdog: Defeat a Pokemon in battle twice your strength. Reward: Threat Assessment App Unlocked.

"Well…that's an option…wonder if that Bibarel qualifies?" She looked down at her phone then back up. "Doesn't say that it needs to be a one on one battle."

The wicked grin that split her face was shared by her team.

A few minutes later, Kassi and her team stood victorious over the now still Pokeball. They had done a fair bit of damage with a sneak attack on the sleeping Alpha before going into a pitched battle. If it had been one on one, she wasn't sure any of her team might have been strong enough to beat it, but combined they'd been able to easily overwhelm it without more than a now soaking wet Storm. It had been obvious during the battle that his lack of battle experience had meant that he'd been the one who'd been less than half the strength of the Bibarel.

As an added bonus, the experience from the victory had been enough for both Ivy and Kenshin to finally evolve into a Dartix and Dewott respectively.

Kenshin beamed as he flexed and posed in his new body. He felt so much stronger now and he flailed about with his new scalchops as he practiced getting used to wielding two.

Ivy, on the other hand, was fastidiously cleaning her new feathers and doing her best to ignore Kenshin's antics as much as possible.

The ping of her phone alerted Kassi to a change.

Special Achievement Complete: Underdog: Defeat a Pokemon in battle twice your strength. Reward: Threat Assessment App Unlocked.

She opened the app and it seemed to open the camera. She focused it first on Ivy and didn't see anything, then swung it to Kenshin; still nothing. Turning around, she focused instead on a Bibarel that had been angrily chittering at her since about halfway through the battle with the Alpha. An aura of light appeared around the Pokemon and it was green. She swung it towards the northeast, where she could see a Staraptor drifting in a circle in the distance, hunting for prey. The aura around the distant bird turned a bright red.

"Hey, something handy. And I didn't have to get buggered by a Scyther or eat out a Grimer or anything stupid like that for a change!" She smiled and put the phone and the freshly filled Pokeball away. "Alright team, back into your balls for now. I'm gonna gallop for a bit towards our goal, we need to try and get this done before sunset."

Her team compiled and soon she was back in her sleek genderless centaur form and went racing down to the coast towards the southwest.

Sandy beaches slowly turned into rocky coastline as she made her way along a stroke of land lined on to the east by a steep mountain. A lively forest lay on a rising slope up to the mountain's base that teemed with life. She saw Beautifly, Wurmple, and Combee in small swarms as she darted past. The sounds of Starly chirping happily in the trees turned to brief cries of alarm as she zoomed past. The clean air filled her lungs as she raced along and poured strength into her pumping legs.

After running for 30 minutes, Kassi could see the end of the stroke of land that ended in a short peninsula topped with trees in the far distance. At this pace she could be there in another 10, but she didn't think that charging in at full gallop was the best idea. Lungs burning she slowed herself to a trot, then ducked into the woods to find a place to rest. Just a few feet in she found a large clearing with a massive moss-covered boulder sitting in its center.

With a thought she was back to her normal self and softly padding through the glade. A gentle breeze wafted through the trees and carried with it the smell like fresh rain on grass. The sounds of bugs buzzing and birds chirping were the only noise that could be heard. As she approached the boulder, a sense of calm washed over her. She couldn't describe a reason for it, but standing near that stone made her feel like she was truly safe for the first time since coming to this land. For just a few seconds, she felt like here, in this place nothing could or would harm her. This place was peaceful, somewhere undisturbed, a haven where she felt all her troubles melt away.

The sensation was over almost as quickly as it had come, but she was content to sit there for a few minutes more to bask in the serenity of this moment. Her mind drifted back to the first time she'd made love to Taiko, her Grookey and first Pokemon partner back home, in a glade similar to this. The earthy scent of the place reminded her of his smell and the memory of that tender moment filled her with warmth and renewed her strength once more.

"This one will be for you my Cheeky Monkey. One step closer to coming back to you." As she exited the glade, she snapped off a bit of branch from a tree and cleared it of the small twigs. Once done, it roughly resembled the drumstick her starter had carried when she'd first got him. She twisted her hair into a bun around the stick and used it as a hair pin to hold it up. "Taiko, give me strength," she whispered, strolling towards the sinking sun.

A fluffle of wild Buneary was her first sign that she was drawing closer to her target. The Pokemon hopped to and fro, wary of her and keeping their distance. She tried to move amongst the thin woods quietly, but not so much as to appear to be a predator on the prowl. "Be vewy vewy quiet…I'm huntin' wabbits," she said softly to one small Buneary that dared to get within a few feet of her. The Pokemon cocked its head then hopped off with an amused clicking of its front teeth. Giggling internally at her own joke, Kassi continued to search about the area.

As she approached the edge of the woods and could smell the salty breeze of the ocean wafting through the woods, she felt a shift in her surroundings. It was subtle: a drop in the noise of the bugs, the skittering of small Buneary feet all but absent, then came a gentle thumping sound.

Now, Kassi went into stealth mode, crouching down and trying to pay careful attention to her new sixth sense for detection. She placed a hand on Kenshin's ball and slowly made her way through forward, taking care to press up against trees and peek around them before moving up to the next one. The thumping grew slowly into a gentle *plap plap plap* as she got closer and under it came a very soft whining sound.

Finally, she spotted her target at the edge of the woods, and her jaw dropped. Normal Lopunny tended to be around 4 feet tall and top out a few inches below her. This monster was easily double the height of a standard Lopunny, with a few more inches to spare. Her eyes were glowing with that nightmare inducing red light glow that lit up the pale cream fur of her ears in a way that made her look like she had a red halo around her face.

Kassi knew immediately that it was a female Lopunny by the bouncing breasts and the fact that she was riding a male Lopunny that was pinned to the ground. Though pinned into the ground seemed like a better way to put it. The poor male looked like it had been ridden for so long and so hard that its hips were buried a few inches into the dirt. Immediately, the source of the pitiful whining became obvious, it was from the Alpha's unfortunate mate.

As stealthily as she could, Kassi raised the ArcPhone towards the Lopunny and had her fears confirmed, the aura around the Alpha was a deep bloody crimson.

If things start to really get out of control, then turn into a Rapidash and sprint away…as fast as my hooves will take me. She flipped to the Alpha App and prepared that form just in case.

She let out a slow breath and tried to calm her nerves. She drew out a handful of berries from her satchel and tossed them underhanded so they would roll past the Lopunny and hopefully get it to turn around.

At first, the berries seemed to have the desired effect. It stopped its gyrations on top of the male and looked towards the berries. Slowly, she eased herself off the male and to her feet. A line of fluid dripped from her channel onto the male's member, which immediately flopped down flaccid and raw looking to its owner's stomach. Her ears twitched wildly too and fro, trying to figure out where the source of the food had come from.

Kassi didn't move. She didn't even dare to breathe as she peered at the Lopunny. Slowly, it sniffed the air and then slowly started to turn itself towards the food she'd thrown. As it reached down to snap up one of the berries, that's when she moved. As silently as she could manage, she gathered a Pokeball in her hand and threw it with all her might. There was a meaty *thwack* that sounded as the ball struck home in the middle of the Lopunny's back. Kassi didn't wait to see the result, even as the ball fell to the ground and started to shake she quickly dashed a few trees over and once again hid behind a thick trunk.

The Pokeball shattered and the Lopunny quickly reappeared beside the male. Her head and ears whipped around wildly trying to find her attacker. She heard a twig snap behind her and whipped around to the source, nothing was immediately obvious as to its source. Just to be careful, she started to rub her fur, a few seconds later she'd built up enough static to let loose with a Charge Beam. The bush she'd struck blew apart and a Wurmple that had been inside lay in a crumpled heap at its center.

Breaking the twig with her telekinesis had been the right call, though she felt terrible about the Wurmple's fate. She hadn't bothered to scan the area with her mind, for fear the Alpha might somehow pick up on it, and that poor creature had paid for that oversight. Now Kassi was trying to focus as she carefully floated another ball through the air as close to the canopy as she could. Her hope was that it would make the Lopunny turn away from her if she struck from a direction perpendicular to her position. With a swish of her fingers, she made the ball go into a rapid spin, then let it fly.

The ball struck true with a much harder *thwack*. The Pokeball continued to spin wildly, even as it fell back to the ground with the Alpha inside. It shook twice, then once more exploded into bits and pieces that littered the area around it. When Lopunny reappeared this time, it looked furious. It let out a trilling scream that sent a Thunderbolt of fear racing up Kassi's spine and threatening to turn her bowels into water.

The Lopunny was dizzy after that thing had stuck her and spun her around rapidly. No longer sure which direction it had come from or even where she was compared to a few moments before, she struck out in a random direction. Kicking out towards a tree with her powerful rear legs, she hit it with a Double-Edge. The tree shattered into splinters on impact and the recoil that rocked her own bones didn't shake her from her fury. No sign of her attacker was in sight, so she moved on to the next one with Close Combat.

Blimey! This is going even worse than I'd expected. That tree was turned to splinters in one hit. I need a distraction…or to put it to sleep…or…something. Then it hit her. As another tree was pulverized into splinters in the clearing, closer to her this time, she flipped to the Alpha Bank and slid the bar all the way down until it had just a single pixel's worth of energy in it.

There was an ear splitting crack of thunder as the Lopunny used another Charge Beam to incinerate a berry bush just feet from Kassi's position. She picked one without looking then hit transfer.

I really hope this works like I think it does. She wasn't able to hit the transfer button just yet, it made her select a Pokemon to put the energy into.

Leaves rustled as the Lopunny leapt up into the limbs of the trees to get a better vantage point, then it saw her attacker. A human hiding behind a tree, messing with something that glowed. She let out a triumphant bellow as she coiled her legs and prepared to pounce.

Every fiber of Kassi's body yelled for her to dodge. She threw herself to the left and felt the wind of a kick whistle past her head. With an earth shaking thud, the Lopunny landed in front of her. It towered over her as it rose up and turned around to face her, eyes burning coals.

"Arceus I hope this works!" Kassi exclaimed then hit the button.

There was a flash of light and the human vanished for a second, only to be replaced by a massive Rapidash, eyes glowing red. Shock and confusion kept the Lopunny from reacting as a crushing mental attack racked her mind.

Even through the overwhelming lust, Kassi struggled to put all of her mind into this single attack. She poured all of herself and all of this borrowed energy into a single, massive, Hypnosis attack. The attack was so strong that the air around the Lopunny warped like it was under a magnifying glass. Just as her attack ended, Kassi felt her energy run out and she was suddenly human again. Only this time, she was standing over the slumped form of the Alpha Lopunny, as it snored softly in the grass.

This time the ball didn't fail and as it settled into the grass, quiet. Kassi slumped to the ground, panting and wiping at the cold sweat that had broken out on her brow.

"Gotcha bitch. Those legs are mine now." She smiled, then rolled over and vomited into the grass as the adrenaline finally started to settle down.

When she finally felt normal enough to stand, she gathered the ball then made her way over to the male Lopunny. It looked awful. His body was bruised, scratched, and twisted at odd angles in a couple of places. Worst of all his hips looked like they'd been hit by a truck and were sitting in a puddle of things Kassi didn't even want to guess at. Looking at the Pokemon, she could see only pain and shock in its eyes. As she inspected further, it became obvious that the injuries were so great that no Potion could repair them.

"Poor guy. I'm sorry this happened to you. I can promise an end to the pain and that it will be quick." She murmured. Reaching for her Pokeballs, she selected Ivy and hit the release.

True to her word, the end for the Lopunny was swift and merciful. The familiar knot she'd always had in her stomach whenever they'd had to butcher a Wooloo back home filled her. This was a sad reality of nature and she knew the best thing she could do now was make the best use of it. To her relief, the body was able to disappear into her inventory as a whole. She'd handle the dirty work later when she had access to better tools.

The high she'd been riding from capturing her target was now spoiled.

"Let's head home Ivy. We need to figure out how we're going to safely contain her so I can get this new form and not look like that poor guy in the process."

Ivy didn't say anything, she waved a wing and flowers sprouted to fill in the hole the male Lopunny had made in the ground. Then she nodded and went back into her ball so Kassi could use her fast travel to head home.

Victory was theirs, but it was bittersweet.
