Vicki's first dinner last part
Merrill was going to do one last test before they did another cruise and that was to see how she will handle eating with other people close to her and he was going to do it in the dining room right before dinner of course then if she does great with that trial run the next cruise she was going to be eating with him at the captain's table for all of her meals then if it backfires and doesn't work the two of them were going to eat in his cabin or on deck as well and he was going to see when she was going to be comfortable going back to eating in the dining room with other people as well
"Vicki you ready for dinner?" Merrill asks as he knocks on the door to her room cause he was going to be escorting her to dinner that night as well and Gopher was going to be eating at a separate table with Julie close to her
Vicki comes out in a lovely dress and she was ready for dinner that night with her dad and some of the others as well cause Merrill wanted to take it easy her first full night out since her accident as well cause he wanted her to look nice for her first full night out since the accident and since the accident he has been keeping her safe in his cabin and her cabin as well and he has been dining with her in his office and he has been doing the trail runs of dinner in his cabin and around the ship and she has been doing pretty good her first time out and he was hoping she could keep the streak alive and not get scared cause if she started to get cold feet he was going to have his dad and his brothers there as well to help her since Delores never got back to him about this he thought he might as well have his dad and brothers with him as Vicki has her first dinner since the accident that changed everything
"You look amazing Vicki like a shiny new penny" Merrill says as he looks at her as well
Vicki smiles cause she did look amazing as well and she was hoping that Gopher was going to join her cause she wanted him there with her cause he was the one that has saved her from drowning in the ocean and having her dad forget that he even had a daughter at all, and if he even found a woman for him she wanted to approve of her as well
"Will Gopher be joining us tonight dad or no?" She asks him cause she really did want Gopher there that night cause it was a big night for her and she wanted him to be apart of it if he could
"Gopher is going to be eating his cabin tonight Vicki he is getting close to not being at the table much anymore cause he will be busy" Merrill says as he was trying to explain to Vicki what is going to happen to Gopher in a few weeks cause he didn't want Vicki there once he had the baby cause it will be too much too fast for her and Merrill and Gopher did not want to overwhelm her with what is really happening with Gopher and they were going to explain about the baby later on like when the time was right for them cause Gopher hated to have her be scared as well too after what she has went through as well cause she has been through so much already and her recovery was going well and he was going to bring Tundra on the ship once again cause Vicki could use her as a comfort dog cause there will be days when she is going to be really scared and she will want the Captain and that will not be possible at all and he will want to comfort her as well, but his duties will prevent him from being there for her as well, and he was going to adopt as well cause it was going to be easier on the both of them too
"Can he join us for dessert please?" She asks him
"I'm sure he will be happy to join you for dessert tonight after dinner cause I have to go up to the bridge tonight and do some work, and I won't be able to be with you and I hope I can tuck you in tonight before you go to bed" he tells her as he was taking her to dinner that night cause that night was going to be special cause it was the last night she was going to eat dinner on deck cause she has been scared of the dining room a little bit and Merrill didn't blame her at all for being that scared as well of the dining room, and he was hoping that once tundra is back on board and is with her that will make her feel a lot better about going to the dining room and eating dinner, and if she did not want to eat in the dining room she was going to eat on deck full force cause he was not going to pressure her to go back to the dining room as well and the two of them were going to eat their meals on deck but he was going to be at the Captain table as well when he could and he was going to see if Julie could join her for dinner when he could not be there for her and when they get the new addition to the family that was going to be family time for the three of them as well cause Merrill wanted to enjoy his little family that he had and he was getting jealous of Gopher so he was going to adopt a little one of his own and maybe that could help Vicki with her recovery as well too and having her watch out for her sibling might bring her back to normal cause she is still scared somewhat
