Gopher has the baby part 1

Gopher you sure have dropped recently is that baby going to be born this cruise?" Merrill asks him cause Doc has been giving him daily exams to see about the baby and so far the baby has been doing good and Gopher has been doing good as well

"Yeah Doc is going to have me go under during the night so the baby can be born while everyone is asleep and no one knows that I had a baby and I am going to be in a private room after I have the baby cause Doc is going to exam the baby of course and make sure it is healthy and nothing is wrong and he is going to let me sleep for a while after the operation and once I come around I will then hold the baby and bond with my little one before everyone on the crew comes and sees us, and Doc wants me to have someone there in the room when the baby is born. I am going to be awake for the operation then once the baby has been delivered Doc is going to knock me out once I have named the baby of course" Gopher says as they were walking the deck cause Gopher was not allowed to help passengers board till after he has had the baby

"Sounds like Doc has this under control down to the last detail of course" Merrill tells him

"Yeah and he will tell me the night he plans to deliver the baby not to eat lunch or dinner, and if the baby has other plans he will just deliver me I just got to remember I can't eat before the operation, and I have an idea this little one will want to come when it wants to" Gopher says as he was going to sit down right now cause his back was bugging him from carrying all that weight around too cause the weight was really getting to him and he could not wait to have the baby and his back would not hurt him as well as other parts of his body

"Good thing come on you can lay down in my office and until the baby comes you are completely excused from the life boat drill" Merrill tells him

"Thanks I am going to take a little nap the baby kept me up all night kicking and flipping
Gopher says as he was going to go and lay down in the office while Merrill takes the ship out of port and Vicki was in a different part of the boat helping passengers to their rooms and making sure they were on the right floor and going the right way as well

Gopher slept through the whole ordeal and he didn't wake up till three hours later cause he started to feel a bit off so he was going to have Doc check him out of course and make sure that the baby was not coming either cause he started to get pains around his mid-section, so he was wondering if those were practice contractions or those were the real thing and if it was the real thing he wanted Doc to deliver the baby before it got too dangerous

"Hey Gopher sleep good?" Merrill asks him as he came back in the office to do some paperwork cause he had a lot to catch up on and he figured not to put it off for too much longer either

"Yeah, and now I am having pains around my mid-section, so I am going to go and see Doc and see what is going on" Gopher says as he was going to leave the office to go and see Doc, and see if he was in labor and he was hoping he was not in labor quite yet cause he wanted to wait at least a day to have the baby, but the baby could have other ideas and might want to come now rather then later of course and he was hoping that the baby was not going to come right that minute in case Doc was in the middle of a patient or chasing a lovely girl as well, so this had to be priority right now and hopefully the labor stops

"Hang on let me page for him and then he can take you to the office to examine you cause I hate to have you have more pains as you head there and I can time them to see if you are in labor for sure Gopher then go from there I guess" Merrill says as he was going to have Gopher sit down on the couch that was in the office right now cause he wanted to have Doc come up with the wheelchair and take Gopher down that way cause it was easier on him as well cause of his bad back that he has

Gopher nods as he took deep breaths in and out of course cause the pain was taking him over a little bit and it was helping him manage his pain level as well too cause he was not built to have a baby the normal way at all

Doc comes up with a wheelchair for Gopher and he was going to take him down to the office and get him taken care of

"Sir down is my cabin is my hospital bag can you bring it to the ward?" Gopher asks him cause it had everything he was going to need while he was in recovery and it ha the baby's outfit as well inside as well as everything else

"Yes I'll bring it" Merrill says a she headed for Gopher's cabin in question to get the bag that he needed after he had the baby

Gopher was glad that the pregnancy was about over and he was going to meet his little one really soon and he was going to have a family finally
