So it has been a little but I was working on finishing this story and I now have it all written and have done editing so I should be posting the rest of the chapters in the next little while. I hope you all enjoy and thank you to whoever is reading this, it does mean a lot. I own nothing.

Once we were back at the compound we parked and got out.

"Are you ready for this?"
"Never been more ready in my life," I told him with a smile as he grabbed my hand and we headed up to where I was sure everyone would be waiting.

As we were in the elevator Steve looked at me.

"I love you"

"I love you" he placed a gentle kiss on my lips before the elevator opened and we walked out hand in hand.

Just as I thought everyone was waiting in the lounge room talking among themselves. Until they saw us and stopped talking to look at us.

"Well?" Nat finally asked.

"I said yes!" I held up my hand with a smile and then everyone was congratulating us.

"I knew you would, I'm so happy for you," Nat said pulling me into a hug as she was the first to get to me.

"Thank you, Nat, for everything."

"Anything for my girl, I love you."

"Love you" we hugged for another moment before pulling away from each other.

Going through everyone as they said their congratulations I smiled and thanked them each before dad got to me.

"Are you ready for this?"
"I am, it's what I want more than anything."

"Good, I'm so happy for you baby girl and so extremely proud of you."

"Thank you, daddy."

"Although I guess you are not really a baby anymore either."

"I will always be your baby girl no matter what may change in my life. Have you not always said that you loved me first?"

"That I have, I love you and I am glad you found what you want in life and who. You deserve to be happy. Your mom would be so happy for you and unimaginably proud of you as well. She would have loved Steve and loved him even more because he makes you so happy."

"You truly think so?" All I could think about was how mom would miss all of this.

"I know so baby." He pulled me into his arms as the first tear fell down my face.

"I wish she was here."

"I know, and she would have if she could. I know it is not the same, but you have all of us. We will do all we can to ensure you have the day of your dreams."

"Thank you daddy. I love you."

"I love you, baby." I stayed in his arms for a few more minutes and then glanced up to see Steve smile at me as he was talking to the others. They had all let dad and I have a moment together and I was grateful for it.

I looked around at my family and smiled at how lucky I truly was. With the Avengers all here as well as Pepper, Laura, and Happy. I was happy with the family we had created.

Pepper walked over to me once she saw I was no longer in dad's arms and smiled at me.

"Congratulations Sweetie, I'm so happy for you."

"Thank you, Pepper, I'm going to need a lot of help though."

"I think we can manage.'

"Nat, Laura, and Wanda are you all in for helping as well?"

"Of course, anything you want you will get," Nat told me with a smirk.

"She's right, I will help with anything you need sweetie."

"I will be happy to help where I can." Laura and Wanda added.

"There is a lot so I will need a lot of help."

"We got you, babes," Nat told me.

"Do you think Lila will be willing to be a flower girl?"

"I think she would be on cloud nine if you asked her. You could ask her tomorrow, she's asleep right now, but all of the kids are here."

"Well, then I will ask her first thing. I will need to tell everyone else."

"Don't worry there is plenty of time to do it all. For now, let's all celebrate." Dad told me.

So that is what we all did. Spending the next few hours laughing and talking, having a good time and just enjoying it.

After a while, I sat on a loveseat next to Steve as he had his arm wrapped around me. I could tell the day was getting to me and It was getting hard to keep my eyes open. My head was laying on his shoulder and before I knew it I lost my battle to keep my eyes open.

Next thing I knew I was in Steve's arms and he was carrying me.

"Where are we going?"

"I'm just taking you to bed. Go back to sleep love." I curled into his chest more and let him carry me through the halls into my room. Once there I heard him talking to someone.

"One moment and I will grab a nightgown for her. I can't imagine she will want to sleep in that dress." I made out Nat's voice but was too tired to say anything.

Before I knew it I was sitting on my bed and felt the fabric of my nightgown go over my head. Then Nat unzipped my dress.

"Stand her up some and the dress will fall." She told him. As he helped me up I tried to stand on my own but was happy for his support. The dress fell and the nightgown fell into place as well. Steve led me to set back on my bed and I let him.

Once I was laying down I felt the blanket placed over me.

"Night Bek's see you in the morning," Nat told me.

"Night" I mumbled back to her.

I heard her laugh as she walked out. Then Steve placed a kiss on my forehead.

"Sleep well, my love."

"Love you," I told him.

"I love you," he told me before I rolled over and curled into my warm bed. I heard him walk to the door and let sleep consume me once more.

The next morning I was awoken to sunlight coming into my room and started to stretch. Then I saw my ring glimmer in the sunlight and smiled. Last night had happened, it was not just a dream. I sat up and looked at the ring one more time before climbing out of bed. I made my way into my bathroom to get ready for the day and saw myself in the mirror as I walked past. I took a step back and truly looked at myself.

I had a glow on my face and looked the happiest I ever had. Which only brought a bigger smile to my face. This was what it felt like to be completely and utterly happy and I loved it. After a moment I went on my way to get ready for the day.

Once I had a quick shower and was dressed I made my way downstairs.

I walked in on everyone in the kitchen making breakfast and smiling all around. Nat was holding the baby and had a smile on her face as she talked to Clint and Bucky. Pepper and Laura were working on breakfast with Wanda. The rest of the guys were in a half circle talking with Cooper and Lila was helping her mom.

Lila looked up seeing me first.

"Auntie Bek's" she called as she ran at me and jumped, I caught her easily and smiled.

"Good morning, beautiful. Did you sleep well?"

"Yes I did, are you and Steve getting married?"

"We are, what do you say about that?"
"That's good, he makes you smile."

"That he does. Though I have a very important question for you."

"What is it?"

"Do you think you would want to be my flower girl?"

"Really"

"Of course, there is no one I would want more than you."

"I would love to Auntie Beks"
"Well then we have our flower girl and the first thing done on our list. Do you think you can help me with everything else?"

"Of course, I can, Do we get to try on pretty dresses?"

"Absolutely, I need your excellent fashion advice and we have to find you a flower girl dress."

"That's a lot of work but don't worry I can do it."
"Well, I'm glad there is no way I could do it all without you."

Steve walked over to us.

"Good morning."

"Good morning to you." I smiled and placed a kiss on his cheek.

"Did you hear Steve? I am going to be the flower girl."

"I did, you are going to be the best little flower girl."

"Thank you. Mom, dad, I am Auntie Bek's flower girl."

"I know, that's going to be a big job."

"Don't worry mom, I got this. I'm a super spy like Auntie Beks and Auntie Nat."

"What about me?"

"Ya, dad to I guess." Nat started to laugh as did several others.

"I blame this on you, Natasha, she spends way too much time with you and Rebekah."
"Because they are the coolest aunties ever daddy. Dud. "

That in turn made everyone laugh more.

"Well thank you for that sweets, should we help finish breakfast?"

"Come on Auntie Bek's I can be your helper now."
"You got it."

We made quick work of helping finish breakfast and then we all ate together. Surrounded by so many amazing people as we laughed and talked, sharing stories and being able to enjoy being together was all I had ever wanted. I felt Steve grab my hand before placing a kiss on it.

"Are you alright?" He quietly asked me.

"I have never been better."

Once breakfast was eaten and cleaned up I got ready to head out. There were a few people I was wanting to tell about my being engaged.

"Where are you off to?" Dad asked me and the others looked at me.

"There is someone I want to tell. It's important to me."
"Would you like me to come?" Steve asked.

"I would but I also want to do it alone. Is that alright?"
"Of course, I understand. Let me know if you want me to meet you anywhere."

"I will thank you." I kissed him as he walked over to me.

"I will be back later," I tell all of them as I walk out but still happen to catch what they say next.

"Where do you think she is going?" Thor asked.

"To tell her mom and Coulson," Nat told everyone.

With a slight smile at how well Nat knew me, I made my way out.

I made good time and got to the base before too long. Walking around the base I looked for anyone I knew.

"Hi Rebekah, what are you up to?" I turned around to see Bobbi and Hunter.

"Coming to see all of you, are the others here?"

"They are all around somewhere. Hunter help find the others and meet us in the commons."

"See you there love." Hunter walks off and I look at Bobbi.

"What is going on there?"

"Not anything new."

"Except you are sleeping together."

"Well…yes"

"I knew it, how long has this been going on for?"

"Off and on since we both started working for Coulson."

"Well, I can't say I am surprised. I know you fight like no other but you love each other."

"It is a mess."

"Some relationships are. You are talking to Tony Stark's daughter. I have seen all kinds of relationships over the years."

"I guess you have a point."

"Come on, we should head to meet the others."

We start to walk down the hall.

"So what else are you up to?"

"Training the new Avengers."

"That sounds like fun."

"It keeps me busy that is for sure." Walking into the room I see Mack, Fitz, Simmons, and Skye already there and then Mel and Phil walk in with Hunter behind us.

"What are you doing here love?"

"Well, I miss you and thought it would be nice to see you all Mel."

"We are always happy to see you," Phil tells me before we hug. Mel then pulls me into a hug after. I quickly give the others hugs as well and look around.

"How are you all doing?"

"We are doing alright, how are you?"
"I'm good, things have been slightly crazy and busy training the new Avengers but overall it has been pretty good. How are you doing, Skye?"
"A lot better now, thanks, and it is Daisy now."

"Right, I promise I will get it. Mel, it is good to see you back as well."

"Someone has to keep them out of trouble."

"Don't I know that. I do have to say I am glad I caught you all together for once."

"What is going on, is everything alright?"
"Yes, Phil, things are amazing."

"So this is not a goodbye, I am running away?"

"No Mel it is not. I don't plan on doing that again."

"Are you still dating Steve?"

"Yes, Daisy I am."

"See DC, they are going to stand the test of time."
"Well, I think we might. I wanted to tell you all something and could not wait for too long before it is out and the media and press get a hold of it. Steve and I are getting Married."

"WHAT?" Daisy yells, before pulling me into another hug.

"Congratulations, I am so happy for you. You deserve this."
"Thanks Daisy."

"Our little miss is all grown up. I can't even tell you how happy I am for you." Bobbi is the next to pull me into a hug and I smile at her.

"Who would have thought?"

"Congratulations little one."

"Thanks, Mack" I hug him, and then Jemma and Fitz look at me.

"Congratulations, this is amazing."

"We are very happy for you"

"Thank you both." With quick hugs, Hunter is next.

"Good luck, although I am sure being married to Captain America will be easier than being married to this one."

"Thanks, Hunter, I think."

"Ignore him, you both are going to be so happy."

"Thanks, Bobbi"

I look at Mel and Phil who are both smiling.

"I am so extremely happy for you love, you deserve all of the happiness in the world and that man loves you so much. I wish you nothing but joy and happiness in your lives together."

"Thank you, Mel."

"All I want is my goddaughter to be happy."

"I truly am." She pulls me in for a hug which I know surprises the others except for Phil and Bobbi as they had both seen it many times over the years.

After a few minutes, we pull apart and I look at Phil.

"So what do you think?"

"You are living his dream," Hunter says which earns a few laughs and eye rolls.

"I am so grateful and happy that you have found someone worthy of the love you have to give. No one has ever been good enough for all you are and you have to give, until him. I see the way he makes you smile and laugh. The way you light up around him and talk about him. I saw it from the very beginning. I saw on the helicarrier the way he protected you and the way you looked at him. There has never been someone more perfect for you than him and I am ecstatic that you have each other and to know that you found the person who is worthy of everything you have to offer to love and life, to the world. I am so glad you have found that happiness and that sparkle is back in your eyes."
"We have not seen that sparkle for a long time, if he is the one that helped it come back, Phil is right he is perfect for you" Mel added.

I felt a few tears fall and smiled at him.

"I wish they knew so you could be there."

"I know, but for now it is the way it is. But I will never be far."

"I know, I love you, Uncle Phil."
"I love you little ladybug." He pulled me into a hug and I felt so happy and glad that even though he was not able to always be around I could still have moments like this with him.

Once we pulled apart I looked at the ladies.

"So how do all of you feel about dress shopping and all of that?"
"I'm in, you know that."

"Sounds like fun"

"Count me in."

"I'm always here for you Love, of course, I will come with you." Bobbi, Simmons, Daisy, and Mel told me.

"Thank you, Nat, Laura, Pepper, and Wanda all said they would come as well. So it should be fun."

"But you are trying to make it easier with your mom not able to come?"
"You know I had this conversation with Nat, Laura, and Clint after we first met Thor and they all told me that I had so many people to be with me for all of this and they are right I do. I just wish she could be here as well. I always thought that she would."
"I know love she would be if she could, but I know she is so proud of you."

"Thanks, Mel, I know Bells and Kara will also come but there is a small part of me that wishes that Peggy could come. I mean for prom she was there as well as mom and now for this, my wedding they can't be there and I'm so much happier now than I was then."

"They will still be with us because their love for you is never going to go away. Just like all of the others you have lost. They are still with you every day because the love they held for you will never go away no matter what anyone says or does."

"Thanks, Mel, I needed that. Dad tried but you know."

"He does not have the mom voice."

"No, and you have got very good at it."
"Well practice with you and now keeping everyone here in line."

"They are lucky to have you."

"That we are, '' Phil added. I smiled at them and Mel wrapped me in a hug.

"You are never alone love, we are all here always." She whispered in my ear.

I smiled as I hugged her and felt better than earlier.

"Thank you, Mel, you truly are the best."

"Don't forget it."

After the hug, I hung out with them for a while longer before heading back to the compound. I let my mind make a list of everything there is to do as I drive.

Back at the compound I walk in seeing everyone sitting around talking and make my way to Steve who holds his arms open to me. I sat down and curled up to him.

"How did it go?" Nat asked.

"Better than I thought it would. Also, Mel and the others are going to come dress shopping with us. So it should be a party at this point."

"I would expect nothing less," Nat responded and we all fell into an easy conversation and made some plans for the wedding. Life was truly good.
