Luz and amity made their way through Bonesburrow to where the edge of civilization met nature. Once at the gates that let out of Bonesburrow Amity reached into her shirt and pulled out two items a medallion that appeared to have an amethyst with a golden crescent moon on the right side of it; while the other appeared to be an amethyst crystal in a silver casing around it with a silver chain that looks to be able to disconnect from the casing. Amity drops the amethyst with a golden crescent moon on the ground before then smashing it and saying, "there now mother can't track us."

Luz both seeing and hearing what Amity did and said asks, "is your mother really that bad."

Amity looking Luz in her eyes replies, "worse, she expects me to be perfect in every way you can imagine."

Luz hearing that nods then asks, "and the other in the casing."

Amity now looking beyond the gate replies, "a spell focus for if we encounter monstrosities out there."

Luz hearing that pulls out her X-38 and says, "well you're not the only one who can fight back."

Amity still looking into the forest replies, "well, in that case, show me what you can do." Amity then goes through the gate into the forest followed by Luz.

As Luz and Amity made their way through the forest it turned to dawn Amity then said, "stay alert night is coming and that's when the real monsters come out of hiding and go after anyone that's not inside a safe and secure location by nightfall."

Luz hearing that asks, "since we're doing this now what happens if we encounter a monstrosity."

Amity simply replies, "then fight as if your life depends on killing it; because it does."

Luz with that now in mind was more alert and scanning her surroundings for monstrosities.

The dawn turned to night; now with Luz and Amity deep in the forest. Luz on high alert and searching for monstrosities on the ground she didn't check the tree tops. In the branches were a group of five large raven-like avians with the heads of human children with all of them having a toothy smile and their gazes following Luz and Amity with all of them having a knowing look in their eyes before then giving a short laugh once Luz was in the middle of their troupe.

Luz hearing a laugh coming from above her sees five creatures that she could only describe as an amalgamation of a raven and a child; before she or Amity could attack one of the monstrosities spoke saying, "the hunter follows its lover through the woods-" then another picks up, "the hunter aids its lover in escaping the beast that truly rules this land-" then a third takes over, "the hunter with the aid of its lover and the beasts spawn-" then a forth takes over, "shall end the beast that rules in the name of the lands lord-" then the final one took over, "and shall free the land of the monsters that prowl the dark when the light is gone." Then all five took flight.

Luz and Amity seeing and hearing what the creatures said and did look on in surprise. Luz because she wasn't attacked and had to fight them; Amity because they didn't attack, just spoke and then left.

Amity swiftly coming out of her stooper from what happened snapped Luz out of her own and said, "c'mon my parents aren't that much further and the sooner we get there the sooner we can leave this behind."

Luz simply nods and says, "ya, what those things said was weird."

Amity now back to leading them replies, "those things are called: cherubs and they're among the more tame monstrosities that are out here, but don't let what they say get to you because that's how they kill others who more often than not don't know any better."

Luz hearing this says, "Alright, thanks for the info." Then proceeds to redouble her scanning for monstrosities now both in the trees and on the ground.

Luz and Amity made their way to Amity's parents' house without any further encounters. Once Luz and Amity arrived at Amity's parents' house. What Luz saw was that it was a large, walled, and gated villa. Upon stepping on the villa's grounds Amity hears her scroll let out a chime. Amity takes out her scroll and reads the message; then puts away her scroll and says with a satisfied tone, "alright Luz I just got a text from my father and he'll be busy with mother for a while so we have about an hour in a half to get my stuff and get to our daimyo."

Luz hearing that looks to Amity and with a smile and says, "if that's the case you could grab some of your mothers' stuff to offer to our daimyo to sweeten the deal."

Amity knowing what Luz meant nods and replies with a now toothy grin and knowing tone, "sounds like it'll be for the best after all mother has so much jewelry a few pieces missing wouldn't be anything new."

Luz and Amity now with a plan made proceed to the front door and enter the villa properly. It's when Amity closes the door that a small light above it flashes from green to red and neither Luz nor Amity notices it.

Now inside Luz puts away her X-38 and Amity puts her spell focus back around her neck. Amity then says, "we'll hit up my room then my parents to grab some stuff from my mother."

Luz just nods and replies simply, "sounds like a plan." Then Luz and Amity made their way to Amity's room.

Luz following Amity to her room sees several framed paintings of different figures. As Luz and Amity passed a large framed painting Luz saw that it was different from the rest. This one had six figures and all but Amity were cast in shadows. Seeing this Luz decided to ask, "so who all are in this painting with you. I know about your parents as well as your brother and sister but who is the sixth figure."

Amity not looking back to Luz replies, "that's my oldest sibling, Amelia… she's been all but disowned by mother and father."

Luz hearing this says, "she seems like she'd make a top-tier samurai; do you know where she is now."

Amity coming to a sudden stop turns and looks Luz in her eyes and replies in a serious tone, "Amelia still lives here however she doesn't have access to our fortune. In-fact Amelia and our parents do not get along because mother basically rules the county and our estates like a tyrant. In fact, me and my siblings have been trying to get our father to divorce her for years but each attempt has failed and I'm tired of living this lie. This facade of a happy family with perfect children. I'm just- "

Luz cutting off Amity says, "I get it believe me in Night City there are maybe a few dozen stories just like that among the corpos, but not so much with those who aren't corpos."

Amity hearing that even in Luz's home has similar situations turns, and with a grinning smile says, "we're not that far from my room is just down the hall to the right."

Amity leads Luz down the hallway to her room.

Amity led Luz down the hall and then stopped in-front of a door with letters on it that appeared to be made of gold reading, "Amity Blight" and right below it read, "heiress to the house of blight". Amity turning to Luz says, "alright I won't be long, but come in mother undoubtedly set the security golems to patrol the villa for anyone who's not supposed to be here."

Luz hearing that asked, "just how tough are these golems."

Amity opening the door replies, "very, in-fact, the majority of spells will only dent or temporarily slow them down." Amity then enters her room and gestures for Luz to also enter.

Luz taking the hint enters and sees that Amity's room is very large and organized. However, it had no wall art of any kind, though there was a small library to the far side of the room, a modern-ish desk, chair, and bed, as well as a small laboratory and kitchenette with a table and chairs. Luz while looking over Amity's room says, "this could be an apartment in Night City… and I mean the really good kind."

Amity hearing that while going over to her bed says with disdain, "that maybe the case for you but this just reminds me that mother expects me to keep up the façade of the dutiful, intelligent, and obedient daughter who's at her beck and call."

Luz hearing that asks, "do you want me to help you pack or just watch you go about doing it yourself."

Amity while on her knees and reaching under her bed, replies, "if you could go to my closet and grab the satchel marked "clothes" then that would be helpful." Amity then withdraws from under her bed a satchel and a backpack with the satchel marked with the word "funds".

Luz doing as Amity said walks over to a satchel marked "clothes" and opening it saw that it was a walk-in closet. Luz enters the closet and starts looking through the handbags for the marked satchel and didn't find it. Luz then checks each of the drawers in the dresses, but doesn't find the marked satchel. Thinking it over Luz looks to the drawers then looks down it then gets on the ground and looks at the edges till she finds a small button in the gap between the two furthest dressers. Pressing the button Luz hears a click from behind herself and getting up Luz looks to where the sound came from and sees a formerly hidden door and opening it sees a satchel marked "escape".

Luz seeing this says, "well this is one way to prep to get out from a place like this." Luz then grabs the satchel and closes the door just for it blind in seamlessly with the wall. "Impressive," is all Luz says with amazement before exiting the walk-in to the amity's bedroom.

When Luz returned to Amity's room; Luz sees that Amity has finished packing her backpack and one other satchel. Amity looking at Luz walks over and takes the satchel and returning to the other bags proceeds to first put on the satchels and then the backpack. Amity then says, "alright let's go before anyone else shows up."

Luz nods and says, "sounds good, let's delta." Luz then goes over to the bedroom's door and opens it; exits the room and holds the door open for Amity to leave.

Once Amity exits her bedroom she stops and appears to be thinking; Luz closes the door Amity says, "alright, the golems should be in the back of the garden patrolling for about thirty minutes so let's get to my mother's jewelry room." Then Amity starts walking down the corridor.

Luz about to speak looks down the corridor and asks, "is that one of the golems you were talking about."

Amity confused takes a deeper look down the hallway and sees a bipedal mass of stonework and mud with sunken glowing yellow eyes and a sullen expression. Amity turning around says panicked, "we need to run… now." Amity then turns in the opposite direction of the approaching golem and starts running with Luz following suit.

After running down a couple of corridors and turning corners Amity eventually slows and then stops with Luz now far behind. Both girls sit against a wall across from each other then Luz asks, "so I take it that was a yes, but why run my bullets and knife could have taken that thing down easily."

Amity replies between pants, "unless they're enchanted you're not going to actually damage them so don't even try."

Luz curious about golems asks, "so what exactly are golems."

Amity thinking it over and not finding any hidden meaning in the question replies, "golems are constructs typically made from stone and mud; though on rare occasions they can also have only certain types of metals incorporated into their construction… why are you asking?"

Luz now knowing this replies with a smile, "to know just how difficult they would be to take down if this was Night City."

Amity confused by that switches her attention to looking around their current location and finding out that their right next to where they needed to go. Amity now also with a smile says, "well, I'll just hop into mothers jewelry room and grab a few pieces. (Amity gets up) I won't be long, Luz." Amity then enters the room.

Some time passes and Luz takes out her phone to see that they've been in the villa for forty-five minutes. Seeing this Luz drops her smile and mutters to herself, "Amity, you should be done by now." Luz then gets up off the ground; then the door opens and out steps Amity.

Amity then says in a panicked tone, "we have fifteen minutes to get out of the villa."

Luz hearing this just nods; then they both start running with Amity taking the lead.

As Luz and Amity ran through the villa's house to the exit they started to hear the sound of groaning. Its when Luz and Amity reached the main foyer did they see that three golems were present and blocked the way to the door. Groaning Amity says, "mother must have had father modify the security system without notifying me (scoffing) typical of her."

Luz then says curiously, "why don't we just bust a window and get out that way?"

Amity replies sarcastically, "sure we can do that if you want the entire villa to go into lockdown and be arrested by the guard."

Luz then drawing her X-38 and monoknife says, "well then, I guess there is only one way out of this." Luz then shows Amity her weapons; Amity looks at Luz who has a smirk on her face.

Amity gets a smirk on her own face and lets out a chuckle and says, "I always wanted to dismantle those things and now I can but you'll need a little something to do anything to a golem." Amity then holds up her spell focus and casts a spell on Luz's gun and knife.

Luz then asks, "what did you just cast on my weapons."

Amity simply replies, "a low-grade enchantment that should be enough to take down a golem so long as you hit its mana source."

Luz hearing that asks, "and where is the mana source located."

Amity flatly replies, "knowing my mother she had father make them and place the mana source where the heart would be."

Luz now knowing where to attack says, "great, now let's get outa here." Luz with her weapons drawn runs towards to golems.

The golem closest to the hallway notices Luz and goes to hit Luz with its stone fists, but Luz dodges by sliding under the golem's attack and then driving her monoknife into where the golem's chest where its mama source should have been. The golem lets out a grown then its eyes fade to black.

The second golem seeing this twirls its right arm around and as it does this its right hand elongates and thins before being launched toward Luz.

Luz having just pulled her monoknife from the now-dead golem sees the golem whip heading towards her. Luz knowing that she doesn't have enough room or time to dodge throws up her arms and doesn't feel the whip hit her. Looking around her arms sees that the golem whip is frozen in ice then Amity runs up to Luz and says, "I was going to warn you that golems that are made by father are a good bit smarter than most think they are."

Amity then pulls out her focus and casts a spell that creates three blue, glowing lights around her hand holding the focus; that then fly around the ice encasing the golems whip and striking the second golem right where the first was stabbed; before it too lets out a grown and its eyes fade to black.

The third golem seeing how the first two were defeated; this causes the last golem to reach out to the now dead golems and absorbs them growing twice as tall and forming the stonework around its upper torso, arms, and hands it even went as far as to form the stonework around its head before lazily saying, "heiress will not leave mistress rule."

Luz and Amity both having witnessed what the last golem did and said have different reactions. Luz looks on in a mix of disgust and annoyance; while Amity lets out a grown of annoyance and pointing to the golem says, "see this is what I mean. Mother will do whatever it takes to keep me under her rule."

The now taller and more armored golem goes to punch Luz, but Amity using her magic moves Luz out of the way just before the golem made contact. Amity pulling out a flask from her backpack pours a trail of its contents over the floor and using her magic again ignites it which then rapidly spreads fire around the foyer.

Luz seeing what Amity just did yells, "what the fuck are you doing?"

Amity yells back to Luz, "the spell I'm going to cast needs fire present just focus on staying alive." Then Amity jumps to the ground narrowly avoiding a strike from the armored golems whip.

Luz and Amity both run around the now-burning foyer narrowly avoiding the golems' attacks. It's only when they both can hardly breathe does Amity make a gesture that leaves a glowing symbol in the air that resembles a flame and says, "o magna flamma hanc precationem audi, rogo te, ut has humiles flammas suscipe, et percute quaerentes mortalem simplicem laesionem. magnae flammae immolatio." As Amity calmly spoke the spell and it's when she yells out the last word does the fire appeared to be flying off the burning surfaces and into a sphere that then split into three more spheres that then morph into dart-like shapes then went flying towards the golem.

When the flaming darts hit the golem there is an explosion and the foyer is filled with dust. Luz and Amity had managed to cover their faces before the darts hit the golem and they remained covered until the dust settled. When the dust had settled Luz and Amity uncovered their faces and were beholden to the golem still active and with only a dented crater where the darts hit the golem.

Luz nervously asks Amity, "please tell me that wasn't your strongest spell."

Amity falling to her knees in disbelief staring blankly at the spot that was hit flatly said, "that was the strongest spell that I knew."

The golem winding up its left arm to punch Luz says, "heiress will not leave mistress." Then its eyes go black and it falls apart.

When the golem finishes falling apart Luz and Amity see three figures each wearing green hooded cloaks that cast a shadow that conceals their upper face and a mask that covers their lower face. The middle one steps forward and says in a deep voice, "amity, we've disabled the parameter containment and defense system. You and her have three minutes to get out of the estate before it comes back online."

Amity gave only a nod then grabbed Luz and made a run to leave the villa's grounds.

Amity and Luz keep running through the forest with Amity holding onto Luz. It's only when they're sufficiently deep in the forest do they slow and eventually stop and rest. Amity and Luz both panting collapse against a tree and rest.

It's when they both recover does Luzput away her weapons and then asks, "did those three just take down a golem by themselves."

Amity letting out a sigh replies, "no, they just temporarily disabled the security and defense system… (light chuckle) the benefits of not being the appointed heir of a noble house."

Luz looking up to the night sky asks, "so, you and your siblings are planning a coup on your own mother."

Amity also looking up to the night sky replies, "ya, our mother has been extorting the local towns and villages just to send what she has taken to the crown to gain "political support" for her exceedingly lavish lifestyle." There was silence between Amity and Luz for a few minutes with both listening for anything that might attack them before Amity continued with, "mother only spends the bare minimum just to keep things running locally and to keep me from going against her… but now I think we may just finally start making headway in removing mother from power."

Luz turning from the night sky then to look at Amity says, "well, if your coup is successful and you do defeat your mother then that would make you a daimyo."

Amity still looking up replies, "no, that would then make Amelia the next lord of the county and head of the house."

Luz still looking at Amity asks, "Amity, how old are you."

Amity not even looking upset at the question replies, "sixteen… why do you ask?"

Luz turning away, then gets up and takes out her monoknife and says, "you'll see once you meet my sister."

That said Amity also gets up and Luz pulls out her phone. Luz taps on her phone several times then Luz says, "now we just need to hold out until our guide arrives so stay sharp." Luz then puts her phone away and draws her X-38.

Not long after Luz pulls out her X-38 does several creatures approached all wearing tattered rags with their chests fully exposed with a glowing pale blue light coming from a slash mark where their hearts would be; the group consisted of all women who all appeared to be rotting.

Amity upon seeing them says, "their lemure…" before Luz could say anything Amity explained after swallowing a gulp, "… their undead who were brought back by wild deathless magic to pursue their killer."

Luz hearing that asks, "so they were murdered, right."

Amity not looking away from the lemure and says, "yes, and if the slash marks over where their hearts should be is anything to go by; mother had a hand in the deaths of these three."

The lemure turning and looking over Luz and Amity then leave them to continue their search.

Some time passed and Luz and Amity continue to wait for their guide; then hear the approach of another of the nightly creatures. When out of the forest they see in the moonlight a dark-skinned woman with silver tattoos of strange symbols covering her skin; all while wearing nothing to cover her chest that appears to be an E-cup, a dark wide brim hat that casts a shadow that covers her face and a dark, ankle-length skirt that has a slit that stops about six inches from the top leaving the front of the legs exposed, the skirt appears to have a silver moon symbol over where her vagina would be, the skirt also appears to be trimmed in silver, and she is barefoot.

Luz and Amity look at the woman uncomfortably; before she then crosses her arms under her chest and then asks in a pissed, angry tone, "who owns the night."

Amity hearing that quickly shouts out in a panicked tone, "not Odalia Blight, the cunt-bitch of house blight."

The woman is quiet for a minute before starting to chuckle before she bursts into all-out laughter. The woman laughed so much that she falls to the ground and continues to laugh for a minute before then coming down from laughing and sitting up says, "I've never heard that reply before and you know what I'll take it, because us creatures of the night hate Odalia."

Luz sensing an opening to say something asks, "why do you hate this Odalia."

The woman turning her head toward Luz replies, "the whore of house blight banned us night creatures from entering any of the settlements in the county all because we don't do anything that she can exploit to her benefit."

Amity hearing that asks cautiously, "and what do you do exactly."

The woman then stands and replies with pride and her hands on her hips, "my folk kept the monsters of the night in check so others need not fear the wilds at night (the woman then folded her arms over her chest and continued with) or at least we did before the whore of house blight banned us from entering her precious settlements when she found out that she couldn't get anything from us. So, we stopped keeping the monsters of the night in check and it will stay that way until the whore of house blight is either dead or divorced from the house of blight."

Luz hearing that asks, "and how long has this strike been going on for."

The woman looks up and presumably thinks it over before Luz and Amity hear a reply, "roughly sixteen years, why."

Luz looks to Amity and says, "ok, that surely can't be a coincidence."

Amity let out a sigh and looking down says, "if it is I'm not even surprised if that's the case."

The woman tilts her head and asks, "what are you talking about."

Amity replies in a flat dejected tone, "Odalia is my mother and I'm sixteen years old… so it wouldn't be surprising that your folk were banned from entering the settlements just so I wouldn't have any positive if any interactions with your folk."

The woman now aware of one of the people she's been talking to says, "well, now that you've met one of us what do you think of us?"

Amity thought it over and replies, "your people are the only ones who keep the county safe at night, but mother is blind to it because of her greed and ambition to gain power in the crowns' court."

The woman holds out her left hand and says, "we haven't shared our names yet so let's fix that. I'm Shade Luna and I'm a strego."

Amity then clasps Shades' hand and says, "Amity Blight and I'm an elf." They then shake hands and after let go. Shade then holds out her hand to Luz who is a bit unsure of what to do.

Amity leans to Luz and whispers in her ear, "just grab her hand say your name then race and finally shake; it's that simple."

Luz clasps Shades' hand and does what Amity did.

Shade crossing her arms says in a pleased, confident tone, "now that we've introduced ourselves to each other properly. I should ask, why are you two out during the night?"

Amity answers Shade saying, "Luz is helping me to escape mothers' rule and she's taking me to hers soon to be our daimyo."

Hearing Amity's response Shade asks, "and who would this daimyo be."

Before Amity can reply Luz says, "that would be Eda Clawthrone, The Owl Lady."

Hearing who the daimyo is Shade gets up and says, "well, if that's the case I can guide you to lady Clawthrone."

Luz asks cautiously, "you know where the owl house is."

Shade looking at Luz replies happily, "yes, lady Eda is a friend of my folk."

Amity and Luz hearing this take on looks of surprise and both simply ask, "really."

Shade seeing and hearing this take crosses her arms and replies, "yes, she helps us by going into settlements and buying things that we want; that and she also sells things that we either find or make in the settlements. Now (looks down on the still sitting Luz and Amity) do you want me to guide you to lady Eda or are you just gonna sit here till dawn."

Luz and Amity get up and Amity says, "lead the way, Shade."

Shade then turns and says, "great, oh, and before we get going do not have your weapons visible, and do not cast any offensive spells both of those will only attract those of a more undesirable standing."

Luz hearing what Shade said and reflects on what happened before she arrived; then looks to Amity who gestures to trust Shade for the time being and Luz puts away her weapons. Luz and Amity then proceed to follow Shade to the owl house through the forest.

Shade guides Luz and Amity through the forest; all while either avoiding or sneaking past the various deadly creatures and monstrosities that inhabit the land. It's when Luz and Amity see a break in the trees and the outline of a structure do, they pick up their pace and pass Shade. It's when they exit the forest and see the front of the owl house. Luz and Amity then turn around to see Shade exit the forest and continue to walk to the owl house.

Luz and Amity not wanting to stay outside while Shade took her sweet time ran and barraged into the owl house.

The first to enter was Luz followed by Amity. When they got inside they saw on the couch was Lucia with a steaming mug of something on the table and holding a book, and Eda who was laid back and asleep with King on her lap crawled into a ball and also asleep, all while Scout was on the table turned off.

Luz seeing this asked, "did no one get my call for a guide or help in general."

Lucia marking her place in her book puts it down and replies, "Luz, we didn't even know you were lost and (points to Scout) Scout's battery died about five hours ago. As for your call, there is no advanced infrastructure so our cells are only good for short-range communication in urban locations." Lucia then gives Luz a hard look and asks, "did you not notice that when you first arrived."

Luz now being put on the spot looks down and simply says, "no, I didn't even realize that until you said it."

Lucia then picks up her mug and after taking a sip then smiles and says, "well, your home now, and that's what matters. (Looks to Amity) Also, who's the mint-haired cutie with you."

Luz now aware that Lucia just now noticed Amity goes to reply, but Amity beat Luz to it saying, "I'm Amity Blight, heiress to the house of Blight; now aspiring samurai to lady Eda."

Lucia hearing that says, "well, Eda has had a long day due to a run-in with law enforcement and her sister. So ya, she's out cold. (Gestures up the stairs) So just go to bed and we'll see if you have what it takes to be a samurai, Amity."

Luz knowing that Amity doesn't know where to sleep says while walking over to the stairs, "follow me, and I'll show you where we sleep."

Amity hearing that follows Luz up the stairs and into a room that has two sleeping bags on the floor, then Luz says, "this is where we sleep. (gestures to the sleeping bag on the left) we'll be sharing one the other is Lucias'."

Amity confused by this asks, "why can't I sleep on Lucias' bedroll."

Luz takes on a straight face and says, "the last person to sleep on Lucias' sleeping bag well (looks off into the distance) let's just say the police and corporations never found the body in Night City's botanical garden."

Amity now realizing just how dangerous Lucia is goes over to the stained-glass window and drops off her bags. Amity upon turning around sees that Luz has shut the door and asks, "so, do we change into different attire or just sleep in what we already have on."

Luz not expecting that says, "just change into what you're most comfortable in while sleeping." Luz then proceeds to change into her sleepwear then lay down on her side on the sleeping bag facing away from Amity.

Amity begins to change but faces toward Luz while doing so. When Amity finishes, she's in a set of grey pants, a black shirt, and black socks. Amity goes over to Luz and nervously asks, "so how are we going to do this."

Luz pats the area to her side and says, "just lay down and fall asleep. (Amity looks on in disbelief at what Luz just said) (sigh) Amity just lay down and go to sleep it's not that difficult."

Amity seeing how calm and fit Luz in and on her side no less. Amity looked Luz over from her calm, nonchalant expression to her toned body then her thighs. Amity blushes at Luz and says, "alright, just don't do anything… weird to me."

Luz not caring and wanting to sleep says, "the only thing that's gonna happen is me putting my arm over you and then falling asleep."

Amity starting to feel the call of sleep lays down next to Luz and just like she said she put her arm over Amity and then fell asleep. Amity still blushing and her heart pounding begins to calm down after doing some calming exercises and listening to Luz's calm breaths and steady heartbeat lulls her to sleep.

The next morning Luz wakes to see Amity asleep on her chest and using the area between her breasts as a pillow. However, Luz feels the need to take care of some business in the bathroom. So, Luz just gets up and leaves the room. Luz doing this also wakes up Amity from her restful sleep.

Amity now awake sees Luz leaving but before she can say anything Luz is out the door. Amity stretches then looks around and knowing that she doesn't have school that day changes into her casual attire which consists of a black medium-sleeve tunic, dark blue pants, and black shoes with black socks. After changing clothes Amity went downstairs, then heard talking coming from the kitchen.

Amity upon entering the kitchen sees Lucia and Eda who were both looking at her. Eda then asks, "so you want to work for me and get away from your mother, right."

Amity replies with a confident, "yes, I'll do want ever it takes."

Lucia then says in a smug tone, "see Eda, she'll make a good addition to our band of renegades and outcasts."

Eda Looking Amity over some says, "for today you'll be helping Luz deliver goods to my clients in Bonesburrow. Once that's done consider yourself free for the rest of the day."

Then Luz enters the kitchen and says, "alright everything's ready to go so who's going with me on this tonic run."

Eda points to Amity and says to Luz, "she's the one going with you, and also try not to bag a bounty while you're on my clock."

Luz looks to Amity who smiles then turns to Eda and says, "I make no promises. (Turns back to Amity) Now c'mon let's delta and get this job done."

Amity grabs some toast and leaves with Luz taking point and carrying the bag of goods. Amity then asks, "so, did Lucia convince Eda to take me in, or was that you."

Luz not taking her eyes off the road replies, "we had to work together to convince Eda actually, but we managed to get you a one-week trial run. We did this so you could prove to Eda that you can earn your keep."

Amity after hearing that is filled with determination to prove herself and to protect Luz and Lucias' reputation with Eda. Amity then says with determination, "I'll do my best for you, Lucia, and Eda."

Luz stopping turns to Amity and says, "it's not me or Lucia you need to impress; the one that you need to impress is Eda… (turns around and starts walking) Now let's deliver this stuff."

Amity now knowing who she needs to impress or make herself passable to catches up to Luz and helps to perform their assigned task.

A/N: I'll be taking a bit of a break from writing the cyber owl house due to the owl house the show coming to an end with only one special episode left in the series.
