A week had passed since Polly reactivated Frobo while everyone was happy that they had Frobo back in their lives and having him part of the family again. The way Charlie used gold liquid to repair the property damage to the Boonchuy's house was something that left everyone questioning a lot.
Charlie used a drop of the gold liquid to drip on any damages to the Bonnchuy's house and property, both inside and outside the house which just like what he used it for when he used it to restore the Boonchuy's backyard, he used it to restore the entire Boonchuy household as he used it on the holes that were left by the first time Polly tried to reactivate Frobo and same with the second attempt.
Which to their shocked euphoria. The gold liquid even fixed up all the damages to the house as if the damages never happened. It was like he pushed the rewind button on time to prevent the damages from ever happening again.
"Charlie, how did you do this?! Our house, our property, our backyard. It's as if the damages never happened. I only have one word. How?" said a surprised Mr. Boonchuy.
"There were these golden all miracle healing apples that me and someone or more we've known from the you know where place who told me about them. Me and Wally first found them when a creature had given them to us. Anyone who eats them will be healed of any injuries, wounds, sicknesses, you name it. Those apples will heal you of anything and everything. But I had a theory that what if I turned one of them apples into a juice and injected a few drops into the ground of your backyard?" Charlie explained. "It appears that the juices from those golden apples have a full regenerative effect on both people, animals, plants, any living thing out there. And apparently, same effect on damaged property. When consumed by people and animals, injecting the juices in people, animals, plants and any living thing, and used to inject into the ground or used to drip some drops of it onto damages of one's house, it repairs everything like it never happened just like how people have the ability to heal from physical injuries as our cells regenerate and divide in order to heal from so much as a broken bone, a cold, or even a so much as a small cut from when someone is shaving. I only theorized that what I'd do would work but there was some chance that it wouldn't work but it actually worked. And I'm glad it did. Science fiction has nothing on me."
Anne, Sprig, Polly, Mr. Boonchuy, Mrs. Boonchuy, Jess and Ally heard every word of what Charlie said and it sounded like they were talking to a scientist who had some agricultural experience. This all told them that what he did fixed the property damage to the Boonchuy's home and property from the inside and outside.
"You brought some of the golden all miracle healing apples with you here?" said Hop Pop looking surprised.
"I figured we could put some to good use. I know, Hop Pop, you don't think it's a good idea for me to use a fruit like that in here as it could risk exposing us to people don't want to find out about as the purposes it's used for could make people suspicious but I figured that maybe we could put its healing and regenerative powers to good use for in case of any emergencies or if it's something that's a last resort. But if you want me to stop. Then I won't stop you." Charlie explained becoming submissive to Hop Pop.
"Actually, maybe it's a good idea to put them to good use while we're here. It did restore the Boonchuy's backyard and it did make the damages to their house disappear like a cut on the arm healing up. But only use it when there's no one from the public seeing or hearing about it. We need to keep something like this a secret like keeping a low profile." said Hop Pop advising Charlie to use it if they have to while keeping it a secret from the public.
Charlie felt relieved and he pulled Hop Pop into his arms to hug him and he hugged back. To Jess and Ally, this was a sweet and heartwarming sight. But they couldn't get over how handsome Charlie is while they understood he's with Anne. Charlie knew that Jess and Ally saw a few things that they didn't want anyone to know. That's when everyone else looked at both Jess and Ally.
"Ladies, you probably saw a lot that went on tonight. There's something we need for you to do." said Charlie.
"Anything!" said Jess and Ally in unison.
"One, you have to keep Frobo a secret from everyone, the golden apples I used to restore all damages to the Boonchuy's house and property, my gold powers, and everything I just explained about these golden apples and what I used them for. You got to keep it under wraps as who knows what could happen if anyone else found out about all of the above. The worst that could happen is the government could get involved and we all know how the government is. My gold powers, the golden apple's uses, everything I explained, and Frobo, you can't tell a soul about it all. Even if my gold powers, Frobo and the golden apples are of something that's not of their world. This stays between us." Charlie advised kindly.
"Our lips are so sealed." said Jess and Ally in unison while they made a gesture that looked like they were locking their mouths like a door.
"So you're some kind of alien, are you?" said Jess with an interested expression.
"Actually, only half of me. Half human, half Leotárian. My mom and her side of the family are from the other worldly race while my biological father is human. I can't reveal how many more Leotárians are on earth and their whereabouts, No one other than Anne, her parents, Polly, Sprig and Hop Pop and the both of you are aware of all of the above. We wouldn't want the people to know anything because that could create a public panic or draw the attention of the government. So very few people know about this information. That, and we all know how Area 51 is." said Charlie further explaining. "You are technically right. It's just that there's some differences. Fifteen hundred years ago everybody knew the Earth was the center of the universe. Five hundred years ago, everybody knew the Earth was flat, and fifteen minutes ago, you now know that there's some alien life living among humans on this planet and you'll have to keep that secret between yourselves and us and you can't tell anyone about this or anything you've been told or shown, ever."
Hearing everything that Charlie told Jess and Ally was quite a lot to take in which they understood that from the alien origin of Charlie's powers, the use of the golden all miracle healing apple, Frobo, and the information on what little he told them about the Leotárian race. All of it. Had to be kept a secret and not breathe a word of it to anyone. Jess and Ally both understood they didn't want anything bad to happen to Anne, Charlie, Sprig, Hop Pop, Polly, Anne and Charlie's family as well as not wanting anything bad happening to Frobo. They knew that if anyone found out. The government or even Area 51 would have a field day.
"You have our word." said Jess and Ally in unison while giving a salute.
"We do have something or more to ask about but it's minor." said Ally.
"I'm all ears." Charlie replied.
"Your physical appearance says Caucasian but your eye color, your hair says Japanese. Are you biracial?" asked Jess curiously.
"Yes, my mom and her side of the family are Japanese, my biological father Dante is Caucasian. A lot of people don't always recognize that I'm biracial at first." chuckled Charlie.
"You're actually the first biracial person we've met." admitted Jess. "Is it really as cool as it looks that you got those gold powers and are from an extraterrestrial background?"
"They come in handy when they have to be. As someone once said. With great power. Comes great responsibility." said Charlie looking stoic.
Charlie approached Jess and Ally while he embraced them in a hug which left them both blushing and smiling as they hugged him back.
"We're grateful for your assistance. No matter your orientation, whom you choose to love, your gender preference, you two are so loved by your friends and family. You have my support and all my love to you both." Charlie told them telepathically.
Jess and Ally couldn't believe that Charlie talked to them through their minds with his own mind. They were amazed by the fact that they were interacting with someone who was half human, half Leotárian, a human alien hybrid and they found it to be super cool to hear Charlie talk to them telepathically.
"You ladies need a lift?" asked Mrs. Boonchuy.
"I'll take care of that, Mrs. Boonchuy." said Charlie. "Jess, Ally, hang onto me."
Jess and Ally held onto Charlie as Charlie had teleported both himself, Jess and Ally in a puff of gold smoke and it was five minutes later that Charlie teleported back to the Boonchuy's household alone.
"What did you just do?" asked Polly curiously.
"Gave the ladies a lift home. Mr. and Mrs. Boonchuy, keep the insurance card on you that I've given you. It's been quite a day and night. I'll see you and the peeps later." said Charlie as he teleported himself from their house to his house.
Anne's parents looked on with surprised bewilderment while Anne, Sprig, Polly, Hop Pop and even Frobo looked on with pride as they were used to this side of Charlie while Anne's parents are still adjusting to the fact that Charlie isn't completely human.
"Is your boyfriend Charlie possibly related to a god?" asked Mr. Boonchuy.
"No he's not, dad. He's just got some Leotárian in him." answered Anne.
"With how good he treats you, how much of a positive role model he is, how he's very helpful towards the elderly and how good he is with kids. He's got our blessing a million times over. But with how he wanted to ask for our blessing to continue dating you and how much of a positive impact all of you had on him as well as how much of a positive impact he's had on all of you and everyone he loves and those who love him back. We know that we can't interfere with true love since you two have been dating for months and have done a lot of good for each other. He's become the best son in law we've had the fortunate chance to know." said Mrs. Boonchuy with a sense of honor and pride. "Just wait till your both eighteen and older to decide to have kids."
"Oh mom! You know we'd wait till we're at least eighteen, preferably college." chuckled Anne.
The end of the current week
It was sunset somewhere in Los Angeles and on top of a church from the looks of it. The Cloak Bot that Anne, Charlie and the Plantars fought was on top of it. It just got through repairing itself as the entire left arm was replaced by an extendable construction claw like crane that was used to grab dirt and drop it off to another side, its entire right leg replaced with a type of saw from the looks of it, the right shoulder armor plate replaced with a large car tire and its left eye was cracked. All of its new limbs were welded on. There was even some metal replaced on part of its left side of the upper left torso and the side of its face.
An extra limb from behind it came up and the end of it was replaced with a nail gun that it used to fire off three nails at some nearby melee targets that were a glass bottle, a brown paper bag and a watermelon, each nail hitting its target, shattering the glass bottle, shooting holes in the paper bag and making the watermelon splatter all over its spot.
That's when a blue light began blinking and it was an orb on its left armored shoulder plate that floated off and stopped in front of the Cloak Bot. Then it expanded into a large blue square like a television screen. That's when King Andrias has shown to be on the screen.
"What's good, Cloak-Bot? Checking in to see how things are going. Did you get the book?" asked King Andrias appearing optimistic.
The Cloak Bot shown King Andrias the book he spoke of which the title of the book read "Cynthia Coven Volume 3" in green lettering.
"Book secure." Cloak Bot responded.
"Why that's great! Wh-Wait that's that's book 3, you rust bucket. I need book 2!" said King Andrias at first thrilled but then annoyed as he had one hand up with at first three fingers up and one finger down to show two fingers.
"Book 2 out of stock." said Cloak Bot.
King Andrias groaned in annoyance.
"Olms, have mercy. Next, you're going to tell me Anne and Charlie, that overpowered, glorified monkey isn't dead yet? Charlie appears to be the last of the Leotárians and he could put a stop to my plans and destroy everything with one swing of his fist if he wanted to. I nearly lost a leg because of him." groaned King Andrias.
"Working on it." said Cloak Bot appearing nervous. "The Leotárian is not the last of his kind. His family on Earth are the last remaining remnants of the Leotárian race, there's possibly more of them on Earth."
King Andrias looked at the screen and was appearing shocked. Charlie not being the last of the Leotárians was sounding like bad news to him and it was confirming something he feared or worried about.
"Shit! There's more of them. Well, looks like we'll have to up the stakes." said King Andrias pushing a red button on his right wrist.
The Cloak Bot looked down and saw that its chest opened to show a timer that shown one hour and the clock on the timer was counting down. King Andrias had a serious yet stern face.
"You have one hour to destroy those two lovebirds. Or the bomb planted in your chest will destroy you." warned King Andrias. "Watch out for that boy Charlie. He's able to go full power now and that's when he's at his strongest, most powerful and dangerous."
The Cloak Bot stood up on its feet in shock. Looking at the timer on his chest and back at King Andrias.
"Okay, cool. Andrias out." said King Andrias with a grin as he shown a peace sign before the screen turned back into an orb and reattached itself to the Cloak Bot's armored shoulder plate.
The Cloak Bot's eyes were flashing red and blue as its vision shown that an unknwon Frobot was detected nearby. It triangulated it's location to one spot. The Cloak Bot shown an angry face and jumped off the spot of the church it was on. Going after it as it knew that Frobo would lead it to Anne and possibly Charlie.
Back at Anne's house
Frobo's eyes were briefly flashing red and yellow as he was just a head for now but also still alive and operational. Anne's parents and the Plantars were in the living room watching a movie.
Anne came in with a pile of clean clothes and rapidly folded them up and put them away, then she grabbed a bag of garbage and took it outside to the trash can by tossing it up over and it landed into the opened trash can.
"Three pointer from downtown and the crowd goes wild. Boom!" said Anne bragging slightly.
Anne went inside the kitchen and both washed and cleaned the dishes and silverware. She went into the living room and placed a wooden coaster on the coffee table that Hop Pop placed a cup of coffee on that he was drinking from. They all "oohed" and applauded.
"You know, Anne. It is really remarkable how much you have grown." said Mrs. Boonchuy impresssed.
"Aww. Thanks, mom." said Anne blushing.
"I mean, you used to be so irresponsible like change the grade on your report card irresponsible." said Mr. Boonchuy showing he too was impressed by how Anne changed for the better.
"Didn't think you guys knew about that." Anne chuckled nervously.
"I will admit that we didn't expect you to start dating yet. I kind of figured you'd start dating until high school. Charlie though, I'll admit, I was a bit nervous about you two dating, both me and your mom were nervous about that because you know how parents are when it comes to their children dating." said Mr. Boonchuy blushing. "Me and your mom found it a little awkward for us when we were meeting each other's parents and asking for their blessing to continue dating and when we both became Mr. and Mrs. Boonchuy. But Charlie, he's proven to be the type of guy I'm comfortable with dating my daughter, but a little surprising that he's an alien human hybrid from a family of extraterrestrials, as if you're dating Roku."
"I'm glad you guys allowed me to continue dating Charlie. That was something we both wanted to bring up with you two for a while." said Anne.
Anne's parents got up from where they sat on the couch and approached Anne as they were taking a shine or were proud of the fact that Anne changed for the better.
"But you've really changed. And you have been so upfront and honest with us this whole time." said Mrs. Boonchuy. "Even Charlie's been doing the same with us. This might be a joke but we both know that we probably shouldn't engage in an arm-wrestling competition with him or we'd be knocked to the ground."
"Right. Upfront and honest." said Anne feeling a bit guilty for lying to her parents about some of what she didn't tell them about her time in Amphibia from the army that King Andrias is sending to take over their world and more. "Also, don't ask Charlie to arm-wrestle. You need both arms and hands."
"I'll keep that in mind." said Mrs. Boonchuy. "We're just so proud of you. Come here, sweetie."
"Bring it in." said Mr. Boonchuy.
Anne's parents came over to Anne and pulled her in for a hug and Anne was feeling her guilt growing about what she didn't inform her parents about. Anne didn't like lying to her parents about what she didn't inform them about in her time in Amphibia and Charlie didn't like lying or keeping secrets from his own family or Anne's parents for that matter. She let out a groan and someone in the room farted loudly that it left a smell.
They were all wide eyed and turned their faces to Hop Pop who was blushing a bit from the looks they gave him.
"Sorry, I tried some of that salsa that Charlie told us about and it was delicious." said Hop Pop blushing with a chuckle.
They sniffed the air and their noses wrinkled which they started to wave their hands in front of their noses with disgust yet chuckled a bit.
"Hey! I'm-, uh gonna go and get some coffee ice cream! Anyone want any? Sprig? Also, let's air the room." said Anne appearing to almost panic.
Before Sprig was about to say anything else. Anne grabbed hold of Sprig and ran with him into the kitchen as she set him down on the counter near the sink.
"Whoa! Hey, what gives?" said Sprig surprised. "Maybe that butt blaster fart Hop Pop really did stink."
"I can't do this anymore." Anne blurted out.
"What? Eat coffee ice cream? I agree. It's pretty risky after five." said Sprig about to open the freezer but Anne pushed the freezer door closed.
"No! My folks! I never told them about Andrias or the robot hunting us OR the honking invasion. I even had Charlie keep all of that a secret from his family and he hates lying as well as keeping secrets." said Anne uttering a groan. "They think both me and Char Char are being up-front and honest but we're not. They don't even know that on our first day back here that I shown Charlie my..."
"Shown Charlie your what?" asked Sprig curiously.
"Some pictures of me when I was in kindergarten?" lied Anne.
"But you said this was the only way they'd be OK with any of this." Sprig pointed out trying to be sympathetic.
"I know, but it's not right. I'm going to tell them everything, right now." said Anne making her decision. "But unfortunately, I'm going to have to bring Charlie into this."
"I'll be there for your support." said Sprig.
Anne and Sprig walked out of the kitchen and Anne got her parents attention as she called out to them softly. She stood in front of them as her parents looked right at her.
"Mom, Dad, there's something I have to tell you." said Anne ready to confess. "And it's not going to be easy to hear because it's something I didn't tell you guys and I convinced Charlie to do the same."
"What is it, sweetie?" said Mrs. Boonchuy.
Sprig gave Anne a thumbs up as if to show his support. Anne was about to say something to her parents but that's when a puff of gold smoke appeared in the living room and as the smoke cleared. They saw Charlie was inside their living room with his hair and eyes gold, a powerful gold energy wave was flashing around him and he had a stoic face.
"Charlie?" said Anne surprised.
"Get away from the window, now!" Charlie warned sharply.
"What's going on?" said a surprised Mrs. Boonchuy.
Her question got an answer when something sounded like a crash landing that briefly shook the house. Anne, Charlie and the Plantars went to the window and there they saw the Cloak Bot was on the front lawn. Anne and the Plantars now knew what Charlie meant.
"It found us." said Charlie in a deep and low voice. "Up the stairs, upstairs go!"
Anne, Charlie and the Plantars ran from the window and Charlie grabbed hold of Mr. and Mrs. Boonchuy with his hands and arms as he lifted them both up and over his shoulders like they were light as a feather.
"Oh my! I never been lifted by such muscular strength." said Mrs. Boonchuy chuckling. "What's going on?"
"Listen to us if you want to live." Charlie said in a deep voice while perfectly mimicking an Austrian accent.
"Into my workout room!" Mrs. Boonchuy suggested.
They all ran up the stairs to the second floor of the house and Charlie set Mr. and Mrs. Boonchuy on their feet as they heard a loud crash that sounded like glass breaking and parts of the wall breaking like a car crashing through the living room. They all got inside the room and Anne closed the door, locking it.
"Charlie lifted us both up and carried us up the stairs." said Mr. Boonchuy surprised.
"OK. We can hide out here while we... um..." said Anne seeing the room they were in as the sight of it made both Anne and Charlie a little put off.
Anne, Charlie and the Plantars noticed this workout room was made up of models, photos, and illustrations of Anne such as Anne getting good grades, one of her graduating, a chia pet of her head, a rag doll of Anne on a shelf that looked like it held a paper that read "Scholarship to big school and plenty more. Anne was getting uncomfortable by the sight of it while Charlie was raising an eyebrow in stoic confusion.
"Mrs. Boonchuy, no offense but I'm about to freak out." said Charlie shaking from a chill.
"Mom, this is NOT a workout room!" said Anne blurting out loud.
"Yes it is. When I thought you ran away, it's where I work out all my stress." said Mrs. Boonchuy.
"While the ladies of the house were missing me while I was away. They were hugging a pillow and pretended it was me being six years old again. Kagura would sleep in my bed to cope until I returned." Charlie pointed out. "They were under a lot of stress like Anne's parents were."
"I can confirm that." Mrs. Boonchuy agreed.
Anne walked towards a mannequin of her that looked like she was dressed up like a doctor.
"Wait. Why is this one dressed like a doctor?" said Anne starting to get annoyed.
"A mom can dream, can't she?" argued Mrs. Boonchuy.
"I sense something is going to blow up in unresolved anger right now." Charlie said to himself.
"Why do I get the feeling I'm not living up to your expectations?" Anne argued back.
Before another word. The floor burst and a huge hole was in the floor, the Cloak Bot was entering the room. It looked around the room and saw multiple models of Anne and was getting confused till it saw the real Anne and Charlie.
"Multiple Anne Boonchuy's and one Charlie Matsuda confirmed." the Cloak Bot said.
"IT'S AFTER BOTH OF YOU?" said a shocked Mrs. Boonchuy.
"Eliminating." said Cloak Bot launching its clawed hand at them.
Charlie pulled Anne out of the way and the Cloak Bot knocked the mannequin of Anne out the window, crashing a hole into the wall where the smashed window was at. The mannequin landed on the front lawn. The Cloak Bot jumped out of the hole and went to beat up the mannequin of Anne but Anne and Charlie both gotten an idea while the Cloak Bot was distracted and fooled.
"OK. Maybe there's a couple of things I haven't told you guys." said Anne nervously. "But don't blame Charlie. I convinced him to leave out some details."
"Everybody hang onto me!" Charlie sharply instructed.
Anne, her parents, and the Plantars all obeyed and held onto Charlie as he teleported them out of the room and they reappeared into the car as Mr. Boonchuy was the one driving with Mrs. Boonchuy in the passenger's seat and both Anne, Charlie and the Plantars in the back seats as the Cloak Bot suddenly saw the wig on the mannequin of Anne fall off, it scanned the wig and realized it was fooled and had an annoyed face.
That's when the Cloak Bot looked on at the speeding car, then at its chest as the timer for the bomb was down to less than third minutes time. It followed them as it was jumping up high into the air and jumped from roof top to roof top. Mrs. Boonchuy looked back at Anne and Charlie.
"Honey, why is there a robot chasing us?" asked a concerned Anne.
"Well, the thing is, and Charlie and I were totally gonna tell you, the King of Amphibia kinda has it out for us." said Anne with a nervous smile.
"She punched him in the face and Charlie beat the yahoo out of him." Sprig blurted out.
"Sprig! King Andrias attacked us first." Charlie argued.
"WHAT?" said a shocked Mr. Boonchuy.
"You WHAT?! ANNE! CHARLIE!" said a shocked Mrs. Boonchuy.
"Lady walking her dog at twelve o'clock!" cried Charlie pointing forwards.
"Eyes on the road! EYES ON THE ROAD!" Anne instructed in a panic.
They looked to see they were about to hit an adult woman walking her dog as she was crossing the street while being busy on her cellphone, too distracted to look up. Mr. and Mrs. Boonchuy managed to dodge this lady by moving to the right and dodged her without the lady knowing.
The Cloak Bot was in hot pursuit of Anne, Charlie, the Plantars and Anne's parents as it was jumping from distance to distance like it did from roof top to roof top. Polly jumped up to Mr. Boonchuy's shoulders as if looking desperate.
"Polly get back in your seat!" Charlie instructed.
"Can't this robo-snail go any faster?" said Polly sounding desperate.
"I'm sorry, I'm not use to running for my life from a crazy robot." said Mr. Boonchuy getting nervous.
Charlie grabbed hold of Polly to make sure she remained in the back seat as he held onto her.
"I know just how you feel, Mr. B. Why, the first time that robot attacked us-" Hop Pop began.
"THIS ISN'T THE FIRST TIME?" said a surprised Mr. Boonchuy.
"YOU'RE NOT HELPING!" Anne said to Hop Pop.
"Traffic up ahead!" Charlie pointed out.
As they drove off, entering the freeway entrance. Cloak Bot was still on their tails. Mr. Boonchuy got up on the freeway and maneuvered his way around a six-wheeler truck that honked, got into another lane and drove off with the speed he was going for to keep as much distance as possible away from the Cloak Bot.
The Cloak Bot was going faster and gaining on them as it used it's buzz saw of a leg to catch up with them while dodging cars and traffic.
"Lightbulb!" Charlie cried out. "Anne, open up the back door."
Anne grabbed hold of a tennis racket and the two human teenagers opened up the back door to the car. Anne tossed a tennis ball at the Cloak Bot while Charlie raised a hand and conjured up a large, gold energy ball as he fired one at the gaining Cloak Bot. Just like a tennis match. The Cloak Bot was hitting the tennis ball to send back to Anne which she would hit the ball with her tennis racket and the Cloak Bot would cancel out Charlie's gold ball of energy by hitting it and destroying it.
"Oof. Your backhand is looking pretty rusty. Charlie, try launching a bigger one at it." said Mr. Boonchuy.
"Leave this to us. Eyes on the road." said Anne and Charlie in unison.
As the Cloak Bot pulled out a nail gun like before. That's when the two teenagers were looking on with surprise.
"I'm gonna blast that glorified hunk of junk to hell!" said Charlie about to conjure about another ball of energy.
"Not here! You might hit someone." said Anne as she closed the back door of the car.
Cloak Bot was firing nails at them which it broke two holes in the back door's window but it left some nails hitting the car roof which it didn't go further or they'd be dead. Sprig and Polly screamed but Charlie conjured up a force field around everyone in the car so that the nails couldn't hit them if they penetrated through the car's roofing or anywhere else. They drove by a cop car that was on patrol but they suspected that the new Fumigator film was being filmed earlier than planned.
"I'm gonna draw it's fire! Mr. Boonchuy, you and Mrs. Boonchuy keep your eyes on the road!" instructed Charlie.
Charlie teleported out of the car and onto the car's roof as he raised his hands up and fired gold balls of energy at the Cloak Bot who would dodge them and the gold balls of energy would ether hit parts of the road, literally, or the Cloak Bot would deflect them and resulting them being destroyed.
Mr. Boonchuy was noticing they were coming to a split in the road and had no idea which road to take while Mrs. Boonchuy had no idea ether and suggested a route but Mr. Boonchuy pointed out that route would be jammed at the hour. Mrs. Boonchuy got on her phone to see if an app on her phone would help as she put on her glasses while Mr. Boonchuy advised to not use an app called "MapSearch" as the Cloak Bot was about to hit them.
"DAD TURN!" Anne cried.
Mr. Boonchuy made a left turn on a route that took them up on a road that was higher than the one they previously were on. That's when the Cloak Bot jumped up and got in front of them. Causing Anne and the Plantars to scream.
"Mr. Boonchuy! Punch it!" Charlie shouted. "Hey Frobot reject! Hope you like flapjacks, extra crispy!"
As Mr. Boonchuy floored it on the gas pedal as Charlie conjured up a larger sized gold ball of energy and blasted it at the Cloak Bot who took the hit and got knocked to the ground, then Mr. Boonchuy ran over the frobot like it was roadkill and drove off. Leaving tire tracks on its body while Charlie looked back and saw that the Cloak Bot was still operational but suffered some damages.
"Looks like we forgot the syrup and butter, asshole!" cried Charlie in triumph as he shot the Cloak Bot the middle finger before teleporting back into the car.
"Holy smokes!" said Hop Pop relieved.
"Alright, Dad! That was awesome! Can you take me for driving lessons sometime?" said an impressed Anne. "Charlie, what did you just do?!"
"I taught it a lesson in gravity and that hunk of junk fell over. Not to worry. I know that robot will be fine if it lands on its butt because that's where the air bags are built in." joked Charlie.
Anne, Sprig and Polly laughed as Mr. Boonchuy drove down one road and took a left underneath a street. They were covered in some darkness but the lights outside was enough to illuminate their surroundings.
"Did we lose it?" asked Mrs. Boonchuy.
"I hope so." said Mr. Boonchuy.
That's when Charlie sensed something wasn't right and he knew that this Cloak Bot can use stealth camouflage and make itself invisible.
"We have to keep moving. This thing can turn invisible by activating it's stealth mode." Charlie advised while warning them.
"Where should we go?" asked Mrs. Boonchuy.
That's when a hole appeared in the street above them and two parts of the rubble hit the car, one bit of it on the roof and the other being on the hood. Luckily for them, no one was hurt. Charlie suddenly gotten an idea in mind.
"Lightbulb." said Charlie. "Mr. Boonchuy, the junkyard! I got an idea on how to terminate that metal motherfucker."
Mr. Boonchuy put the car in reverse and drove in reverse as they broke the doors open to a junkyard, the chains to the doors of the junkyard's entrance easily broke like a twig. They drove far enough till they stopped at a part of the junkyard they believed could be safe enough for them to hide for a bit if they had to explain things to Anne's parents. The doors slid open and Anne, Charlie, Sprig, Polly, Hop Pop, Mr. and Mrs. Boonchuy got out of the car.
"Hurry everyone. Hide." said Anne.
They all ran for a place to hide while Mr. Boonchuy pushed a button on the car keys lock the car, making the lock beeping sound. The Cloak Bot entered the junkyard and was looking for them but they were hidden.
"Okay, guys. I think we're safe for now." said Anne keeping a look out.
"Anne, we got an APS on our hands." said Charlie looking at Anne's parents who had an angry expression on their faces.
"APS?" said Anne turning to her parents who were looking angry.
"Angry parents situation." Charlie abbreviated.
"ANNE SAVISA BOONCHUY! CHARLIE ITACHI MATSUDA! What is going on?!" said Mrs. Boonchuy looking angry.
"Mr. and Mrs. Boonchuy, if you are to listen Anne and me, we can explain things." said Charlie trying to calm them down.
"What do you mean? There's a giant robot trying to kill us. I thought that was clear." said Anne nervously.
"YES! But why Anne and Charlie? Why? Is there something you two want to tell us?" said Anne losing her patience.
"Mom! Take it easy!" said Anne trying to calm her mother down.
"Honey, maybe we should hear them out. Charlie did say it's a good idea for parents to listen to their children without freaking out or they'll never want to tell us anything at all. We don't want that." said Mr. Boonchuy also trying to calm his wife.
"NO! She's lying to us! You've done something, haven't you?! And you dragged your boyfriend into it! That's why that thing is after us!" said Mrs. Boonchuy her anger getting the better of her.
"It's complicated!" said Anne almost about to panic.
"To be honest, Anne, I blurted everything out to my mom, my aunt and the ladies of the house on our first day back! I just couldn't stand the fact that I lied or kept a secret from them!" Charlie blurted out.
"You told them everything?!" said Anne looking surprised.
"At least your boyfriend knows to tell the truth to his family and not keep secrets from them. Why can't you be more like him. I knew it! We were wrong about you. You're still the same irresponsible little girl who used to cut class. When are you going to grow up? When are you going to stop getting in trouble? When, Anne? When?" said Mrs. Boonchuy scolding Anne.
"MRS. BOONCHUY, WILL YOU SHUT UP AND LISTEN!" shouted Charlie loudly.
Both Anne's parents looked on with shock and Mrs. Boonchuy couldn't believe what Charlie just told her.
"Mr. and Mrs. Boonchuy! You have no idea what Anne and I have been through when we were in Amphibia judging by what we didn't tell you. Battling bad guys, some of them who could've killed us all or fucked us in the ass! God knows some of them saw me as a piece of meat! We thought King Andrias was a good guy who really turned out to be a bad guy wanting to conquer our world and others to restore Amphibia to it's former glory which his idea is nothing but pure madness and he's got an army ready to take over his own world and we don't know when he'll be coming to our world to conquer our world. We wanted to tell you, we really did, but we didn't because we both knew you would ether freak out like Mrs. Boonchuy is right now and that you'd think that Anne is the same girl she once was when she's not, she's grown up, become more responsible and mature like an adult, something we don't see in thirteen year olds, we had to fight off Sasha when she was once on the side of evil, a friend of Anne that she fought against to stop her from doing something we didn't want her doing, I had to do the same thing with Sasha and you have no idea how hard that was for us, once Sasha was on our side for good, we found out Marcy was the one who had us in Amphibia in the first place when she didn't meant to do that to anyone, Andrias lied to us all and manipulated us all, we saw him stab Marcy through the chest which I used a dose of the juices from the golden all miracle healing apples to save her from death while I wounded Andrias in the leg as we were escaping back home to warn all of you. We didn't tell you because we feared you'd freak out or that you'd overreact so we lied and kept the secrets from you to protect you from the danger that is going to come soon and we have no fucking idea when. And I hate lying to my family, friends and those I love and so does Anne! Why do you think children don't come to their parents for anything or never tell them anything at all and they hide things from them? It's because the wig out, overreact and they don't listen nor do they hear their children out. Is that what you want from your daughter? No you do not. I'm sorry to exploding on you both but you two need to listen to your daughter more and not freak the fuck out everytime you hear something that's a shocker or Anne will never tell you anything ever again and you want her to go to for help and advise and you want her to tell you everything because that's what family does! They listen to each other when they need each other and help them through their problems that they go through. I love your daughter as my soul sista! But damn it, it's high time you both start listening to Anne and being more supportive and reasonable with her, especially in these situations because you have no idea what Anne or more have been through in Amphibia from what we didn't tell you because we wanted to protect you from what was going to be hard and painful for us to tell you. We wanted to tell you but we had no idea on how without scaring the crap out of you. If you don't start listening to Anne, hear her out more and find out why she didn't tell you. Then you're going to lose your daughter and she'll have nothing to do with you in the future. You both were her age and made mistakes, lied to protect someone and she may be your daughter, but she is also a thirteen-year-old kid who is trying to recover. The only reason she lied was to protect you both. Is that what you want?" Charlie ranted as he stood up for Anne and told Anne's parents off. "If that makes here in untruthful, fine, but irresponsible? With all due respect to both of you, you don't shit about what Anne or me have been though."
Anne was wide eyed at how Charlie stood up for her. She remembers standing up for Charlie but this was like him returning the favor to her. Anne's parents were shocked at what Charlie told them and it appeared they finally understood why the two of the kids lied to them.
"I don't know when I'll be the daughter you want me to be. And I'm sorry. It's true. I did lie and I convinced Charlie to do the same so don't blame him, I talked him into it. But I did it to protect the people I really care about." said Anne now being honest with them. "But please don't be mad at me or Charlie. While Charlie did say something that's hard to hear. I stood up for him a lot and it looks like he's doing the same for me. Even if Char Char had to lay down the law with a bit of a heavy dose of reality."
Anne's parents suddenly looked at Anne and a now remorseful Charlie and back at the Plantars who looked nervous about this but then they looked back at Anne and Charlie.
"I've learned so much from you two in less than a month. I finally appreciate how much you've done for me. Now I'm asking for your help." said Anne showing her compassion and mercy as she took hold of her mother's hands. "Please. I can't do this without you."
"Mr. and Mrs. Boonchuy, I'm sorry I yelled you both and went off on you like an atom bomb as well as told you both off but you got to understand. Even though lying is all bad, we only lied to protect those we love. While I blurted out everything to my folks because I never like lying to them and I don't like keeping secrets from them. It was just as painful for Anne as it was for me to do the same to you. Children may learn from their parents most of the time but sometimes the parents have to learn from their children. You need to support your daughter more now that she's become the wonderful woman that I love. I know you love your daughter but you got to be more supportive towards her from now on. No matter what life throws at you, your family, those you love or your friends. Communication, listening and being supportive towards them as well as being there for them is key. I learned it from my mom, my aunt and the ladies of the house. Even I'm asking you two for help because this is bigger than me or Anne." Charlie told them as he was giving them advice on how to be better parents towards Anne.
Mr. Boonchuy approached Anne and Charlie as Charlie placed a hand on both Anne and Mrs. Boonchuy's hands. Mr. Boonchuy was ready for this as he shown compassion.
"We're with you, Anne. Right, mom?" said Mr. Boonchuy.
"I don't know. Isn't all just too much?" said Mrs. Boonchuy looking a bit nervous.
That's when they heard loud and heavy footsteps that proved the Cloak Bot was nearby. Anne and Charlie saw the Cloak Bot was looking for them after turning over a car, lifting it up and tossing it across the yard which they saw it crash land nearby, completely dented and smashed with the glass from the windows broken.
"There's no time to hesitate. We got to do something." Charlie told them telepathically.
"So, is there a plan? Really hoping for a plan." said Sprig hopefully.
Both Anne and Charlie looked around the yard and saw both a basketball, a microwave and a mop. Both of them smiled.
"Lightbulb." said Anne and Charlie in unison.
"Hey, mom. Feel like putting your artistic skills to use?" said Anne with a grin.
While the Cloak Bot was walking around, looking for Anne and Charlie. It stopped and looked around in the surroundings of the junkyard till it spotted two figures that looked like Anne and Charlie. The timer on the Cloak Bots chest shown less than ten minutes.
"Hey tall, ugly and stupid! Your targets are here! Come and get our asses!" Charlie threw his voice while mimicking Anne's voice as well as making it sound like both of them were talking to it.
"Targets confirmed." said the Cloak Bot approaching the disguised figures.
Cloak Bot came up to them and kicked both of their heads but then realized it was fooled by the fact that their heads were nothing but a couple of basketballs with mops for wigs.
"Hey, metalhead! Lookin' for us?" came Anne's voice.
The Cloak Bot turned to its right as there were various models of Anne and Charlie standing nearby while Mrs. Boonchuy was setting up more models of Anne but Charlie set up more models of himself as he was really fast with his superhuman enhanced speed.
"Whoa, mama! You work fast as Charlie!" said a surprised Polly.
"It's all about rhythm, baby." said Mrs. Boonchuy with a determined grin.
As the Cloak Bot saw so many of the models of Anne and Charlie, the nail gun it had came out from behind and opened fire at them, blasting the models to pieces which it was distracted. Anne cried out for them to attack and they ran towards the Cloak Bot, hitting it with ether a metal pipe or a plank of wood. It grabbed hold of Anne's weapon and smashed it with its claw.
Then it spun itself around to send them flying but Charlie used his powers and had a force field for them all to land on so they made a safe landing. The Cloak Bot jumped forwards and grabbed Anne as it picked her up and was about to shoot her with its nail gun but that's when Charlie sucked in a big amount of air and roared like a realistic lion powerfully to get the Cloak Bot's attention.
"Hey you fucking glorified toaster oven!" cried Charlie. "You don't want Anne! You want me! I beat the shit out of your creator and I enjoyed the fuck out of it! They oughta give me a damn medal for that while I had fun with yo mama! And she's up for round two!"
The Cloak Bot looked at Charlie who had a defiant grin while the Cloak Bot was about to drop Anne till Charlie and Mrs. Boonchuy ran towards the robot in a fit of rage.
"Hey, robot! LEAVE MY DAUGHTER ALONE!" cried Mrs. Boonchuy now in mother bear mode.
"Let's knock that piece of scrap metal back on its ass!" said Charlie with a roar.
"With pleasure!" said Mrs. Boonchuy as she hit the Cloak Bot over the head with a sledgehammer and leaving a large dent.
Charlie grabbed hold of the Cloak Bot's nail gun and ripped it off its body with his bare hands and grabbed hold of its leg that wasn't the buzz saw as Charlie got the robot to let go of Anne and she landed on her feet. Charlie began to swing the robot around while Mrs. Boonchuy would use her sledgehammer to hit the Cloak Bot over the head each time it came in her direction.
"This is better than the batting cages!" said Charlie.
"Mama said knock you out!" cried a thrilled Mrs. Boonchuy.
Anne grabbed hold of an old traffic sign and stabbed the robot with it in the torso area. Mrs. Boonchuy swung the sledgehammer and hit its right leg, ripping most of it off. Charlie stopped spinning it and the robot got smashed onto the ground while Anne and Charlie hit it over the body a few times, damaging the Cloak Bot severely. The Cloak Bot uttered some electronic groans that sounded like whirring. Anne and Charlie were panting a bit.
"You are terminated." Charlie said proudly mimicking a deep voiced Austrian accent perfectly.
"Wow, mom! Good arm! And Charlie, way to smash it!" said a proud Anne.
"You too." chuckled Mrs. Boonchuy.
"The Terminator has nothing on me." said Charlie.
They gathered around the destroyed Frobot as the Pllantars were surprised while Charlie popped his neck.
"Whoa. That was crazy, you guys." said an impressed Sprig.
"I like your style, Mrs. B." said Polly.
"Were you surprised by that display of ferocity, Mr. Boonchuy?" asked Hop Pop.
"No." said Mr. Boonchuy terrified yet phased.
Their moment of victory was interrupted as the Cloak Bot was laughing and still moving. It's chest opened up to reveal the timer to the bomb in the robot which was approaching the ten second mark.
"Self-destruct in T-minus ten... nine..." the Cloak Bot started off.
"Oh, no! That thing's still loaded!" said a shocked Mr. Boonchuy.
"What do we do?" said Hop Pop.
"All that and we're still toast?" said a wide eyed Polly.
"Not on our watch!" said Anne and Charlie in unison.
Anne's parents and the Plantars turned to see Anne was surrounded by a blue energy wave, her eyes glowing blue and floating as her hair was flowing and blue. Charlie was at full power as his hair was down to his back, had fangs and claws like a lion, his muscles were larger, and both Anne and Charlie's voices sounded deeper.
They saw Anne and Charlie run towards the Cloak Bot so fast that it was at supersonic speed, kicking the frobot so hard that it was kicked sky high, literally, and they watched the Cloak Bot explode into the sky, forever destroyed. That's when Anne powered down while Charlie's muscles returned to their normal sizes, his fangs and claws turned back into normal teeth and nails, his eyes and hair were back to their original color and Anne's eyes and hair was back to their original color. Anne leaned on Charlie while Charlie held onto her. Anne's parents were shocked at the powers that Anne and Charlie shown at full power when they knew that Charlie was an alien human hybrid but never saw him at full power but they never saw Anne using her blue powers.
"Is it dead?" asked Sprig.
"Terminated." answered Charlie.
"Anne?" said a shocked Mrs. Boonchuy.
"What was that?" said a shocked Mr. Boonchuy.
Anne was about to saw more but she collapsed, having Charlie catch her in his big and strong, muscular arms. He carried Anne bridal style.
"There's a lot more we need to tell you, Mr. and Mrs. Boonchuy. But let's knock that out later. Anne and I have to be able to tell you both." said Charlie. "We'll talk about this more later. Kuruma ni norou!"
Later on, driving home
Anne, Charlie, the Plantars and Anne's parents were in the car while Mr. Boonchuy was driving while Anne was leaning against her mother, sleeping, while Mrs. Boonchuy smiled as if she hasn't had a moment like this with Anne since her daughter was little.
"Mr. and Mrs. Boonchuy. I'm sorry I popped off at both you earlier. I was standing up for Anne to help you guys realize what she's been through." Charlie apologized.
"It's alright, Charlie. We were kind of asking for it." said Mrs. Boonchuy forgiving him.
Mr. Boonchuy cleared his throat and Mrs. Boonchuy knew that Mr. Boonchuy was willing to hear Anne out but she was the one who was out of line.
"Okay, I was asking for it." Mrs. Boonchuy corrected herself.
"It's alright, Charlie. You were standing up for Anne. If she's stood up for you before. Think of this as you giving back to her by returning the favor." said Mr. Boonchuy forgiving him.
"Honestly, Mrs. Boonchuy. Anne and Charlie have just been trying to-" Hop Pop began.
"Protect you three. I get it now, And whatever it is you guys need to do, we'll do it together." said Mrs. Boonchuy embracing both Anne, Charlie and the Plantars.
The Plantars hugged back as well as Charlie did.
"Aww, The driver always gets left out of the group hug. Can you guys just imagine I'm there?" said a bummed-out Mr. Boonchuy.
Charlie went forwards and hugged Mr. Boonchuy who smiled and felt included.
"I'm not leaving my father-in-law out of this." said Charlie with a grin.
Meanwhile in an unknown location
Somewhere in unknown building had two FBI agents, both of them male. Looking at pictures that shown the car that Anne's parents drive but the pictures were slightly blurry but they were pictures of Anne, Charlie, the Plantars and Anne's parents who were shown to be fighting the Cloak Bot. A second picture was of Charlie using his gold powers to fight against the Cloak Bot when he stood on top of the minivan.
"Get HQ on the line. This may be the real deal. It's time to call Mr. X." said one of the male agents.
They zoomed in on the pictures that shown the Plantars in the car and zoomed in on the picture of Charlie in his gold form.
