Review Response:

To Amit Barabi: Firstly, read this chapter and it'll answer you're initial question. And secondly, the story has never stated that Wheelo was inexperienced in combat. He just never fought actual opponents outside his Brutal Warriors. And as to how strong he is, you'll just have to sit back and wait on that question. Other than that, thanks for the review. Oh, and Hercule never stated that he didn't beat Cell. He stated that ki was a real thing.

To Ushindi: 1. I loved that running gag. It was great to see it getting a…climatic conclusion in the web series, you know? The send off was glorious and a true win for TFS Krillin.

2. Baby Vegeta was great! I love how he became the post villain for Dragon Ball GT and was the highlight of that era of Dragon Ball. Its a shame that the Shadow Dragons didn't get that treatment. If only it was executed better…Oh well, Syn/Omega Shenron is still my favorite villain in GT.

3. Potara canonically is the superior fusion method, but Metamoran fusion (fusion dance) is my favorite.

To SuperSaiyajin4Vegeta: For one, plot trumps all logic in a story. And two, that thing has a barrier that any reasonable mad scientist would have built in to the thing. Not to mention, how could any of the Dragon Team see where that thing is positioned when the laser is shot? All of them would suffocated and or burn to death before they could leave the stratosphere and see where its at.

To God Emperor Of GAR-halla: I hate to break it to you, but Erasa is not cut out to be a fighter. She's not that type of girl. She'll most likely go for Bulma's line of work as a understudy of sorts.

Last time on Dragon Ball Z: PRIMAL, Videl claimed victory over her teacher, Son Gohan in the first match of the semifinals. From there, it was time to proceed to Barry Khan and Sharpner's battle. But, just as that was about to begin, Dr. Wheelo abruptly interrupted the tournament with a powerful message; exposing the truth to the world behind Mr. Satan's lies, the actual conclusion of the Cell Games, and how the higher powers of society have let the world down when the people needed them the most. Then Wheelo transitioned his message into a declaration of a global societal revolution. His rejection of the leaders of the world resulted in

him destroying the planet's capital using an orbital superweapon. Now, the Dragon Team is put against an army of bio engineered monsters that are now terrorizing innocent people. Watch as they react to the aftermath, now!

Stadium, Battle Island II, Age 774

The Dragon Team watched in horror as Erasa was helplessly dragged by Psycho Threads as Barry flew into a tunnel that formed from the arena.

"ERASA!" Sharpner screamed at the top of his lungs before flying after her and Barry, entering the fifth tunnel.

Normally, people such as Krillin and Tenshinhan would rush in to follow a bystander like Erasa, but the large number copies of Brutal Warriors Specimen Models I-III, Misokatsun, Kishime, and Ebifurya flooded the empty space as they became to reek havoc on the civilians.

Videl watched Sharpner soared head first into the tunnel and was about to try and stop him when she found herself fighting some of these Brutal Warriors.

This prompted the fighters of the Dragon Team to spring into action as they began to fend off the bio-engineered menaces at the cost of losing Erasa temporarily.

-With Gohan and the Eliminated Combatants-

From where the fighters that were eliminated were standing, Son Gohan watched as Barry took the blonde girl away using his Psycho Threads, carrying her in the fifth tunnel.

"Erasa-san!" Gohan screamed as he attempted to rush over to the girl.

"Gohan! Watch out!" Pigero shouted from behind him.

However, Gohan anticipated the attack ahead of time and weaved around the Misokatsun clone's lunge before plowing through the yellow creature's with a single punch despite its special rubber-like properties of its body. That single attack killed the monster.

Yurin and Lime doubled teamed a Kishime with the brunette putting it work as a distraction by rushing in the reptilian Bio Warrior. Yurin eventually came in clutch with her majutsu as her rose whip was used to insulate the bioelectricity of the Model II Brutal Warrior and tore the Kishime clone to shreds.

And with the combined efforts of Upa's lightning catori arrow and Pigero's Reidōken, the Ebifurya clone didn't even get a chance to freeze either of the fighters.

When the eliminated fighters cleared out at least five more clones, they temporarily had the time to talk amongst themselves clearly.

"Things got crazy too fast!" The wandering warrior stated.

"Yer tellin' me!" Lime agreed. "It ain't even half a year, now we've got another crisis on our hands! I sure didn't sign up for this!"

"Perhaps this is what the cloaked warrior meant when he expressed his worries for the planet." Upa thought out loud. "I knew it to be true to trust his judgment. Especially after the tragedy that has befallen on it."

Pigero nodded, clenching his fists as he glanced over to where the screen was that just televised Dr. Wheelo's announcement.

"Yeah, all because of that bastard!" Pigero gritted. "That mass murderer has to be dealt with and fast!"

Lime and Upa nodded in agreement.

Meanwhile, Gohan tried to place his index and middle fingers of his right hand onto his forehead to sense Erasa's energy, only to find that it was too faint for him to get a look on her.

Horrified, Gohan growled, "Damn it! Her energy is too low! Khan's strings are interfering with Erasa-san's ki signature! I can't use Instant Transmission to get to her!"

His attention was then set to Yurin, who walked up to Gohan and barked him.

"Hey, kid! What the hell are you doing!?" The witch shouted. "We're out here trying to figure a way out of this mess alive! The least you can do is help!"

Turning around to speak to the eliminated fighters, Gohan frowned as he said, "Did Master Piccolo speak with any of you?"

Everybody nodded with the Reidō user saying, "He said that something big was about to go down, I just didn't think that it would be to this extent."

Gohan verbally agreed as he stated, "I know, I didn't see this coming either."

"He mentioned that people like us will be needed," Upa mentioned before firing arrows of electricty at a few more Bio-Warriors that appeared behind Gohan using his electric laced catori (or energy).

"Nice shot," Lime whistled with Pigero nodding in agreement.

"Well, he's right," Gohan stated, staying on topic. "My friends and I have been protecting the Earth since before I was born. My father sacrificed his life for this planet, believing that all of the recent evils that plague our home rooted back to him. But even now after his death, defending Earth from threats has only gotten harder."

Hearing Gohan talk about himself began to irritate Yurin to no end. After all, his father was taught by Muten Roshi. And sure, she had accepted that Tao had more than likely deemed her unworthy and a lost cause. That didn't mean that she was required to start liking anything related to the Turtle School.

"Oh, for the love of Kami! Kid, cut the heroic speech out, it's getting on my nerves! I swear, you act like you were one of those glowing blond fighters from the Cell–"

Yurin's rant was cut short with a loud squeal as in a flash of golden light, Son Gohan raised his power from base, Super Saiyan, and then Super Saiyan Level Two. The short but phenomenal spectacle had not only shut the enchantress up, but rendered Pigero and Upa speechless.

Lime's face lit up with excitement, then turned to Yurin with a smug grin.

While in his Ascended Super Saiyan (or SSL2) state, Gohan clarified, "–I was there, seven years ago. My father called on me to do battle with Cell. In fact, I was the one who finished him off. But instead of claiming the credit for it, I chose peace over fame. I also triumphed over Cooler under another alias."

Pigero and Yurin's jaw dropped from this revelation, but this wasn't much of a shock to Upa and Lime. After all, both were friends, or at least acquaintances of the late Goku and his son.

"W-What a-are you!?" Yurin stuttered, taking a few steps back.

Gohan dropped back to his normal state to be more approachable, stating, "I'm an Earthling, just like the rest of you. And I am certain that despite the issues you may have faced in the past, all four of you are at least content with existing on this planet. Which is why I am asking you to help me defend it while there's still a world worth defending."

"And no," Gohan spoke, now mainly staring directly into Yurin's eyes while still speaking to the quadrio. "Nobody's asking you to become heroes. It's not an obligation because you have special abilities. But I am asking all of you to set whatever differences that you have for once in your lives, and be a part of something that's greater than yourself. I implore you to fight for your home!"

Turning around, Gohan placed two fingers on to his head to hone in on Videl's ki.

But before he teleports, Gohan looked over his shoulder to the four warriors while his tail swayed and stated, "I may be powerful, but I'm no god. I can bleed, I can be killed just like the rest of you. So can my friends, many of whom have already died before. If what you seek is to better yourselves as martial artists, as both fighters and warriors, here's your chance. It's do or die time, so be prepared to work together if you want to survive this crisis."

And like that, Gohan was whisked away via Instant Transmission.

The four fighters stood there, now at each other for a brief moment until they were brought back to reality by sounds of explosions and people screaming.

Lime decided to be the proactive one and made her way outside while Pigero and Upa called out to her.

Lime, before heading to the action said, "I don't know about y'all, but I sure ain't gonna let no lab coat wearin' varmint tell me what to do! If I'm goin' down today, I'm gonna go down swingin'!"

And with that, Lime got out of the room and into the dangerous outside world with her ki rising steadily.

Yurin glanced over Lime's direction and scoffed.

'Foolish girl. That man unleashed monstrosities and she still blindly charges into battle like a moron. She'll end up dead before she knows it.'

Upa turned to the other two fighters and said, "I cannot return home knowing that I've let a young woman stray into battle alone. I am honor-bound to accompany her."

Pigero nodded as he watched Upa follow Lime outside. The scarred man then turned to Yurin, who had her arms crossed and her back to the man.

"It's a pretty crazy world out there. Crazier than usual. What's your choice?" Pigero questioned.

"...Why do you care?" Yurin inquired in a standoffish tone.

The headband wearing warrior answered, "Don't know. It was just a question that came to mind, I guess."

"I don't get why you would waste your time talking to me. If circumstances were different, we would have been opponents. Enemies, even." Yurin argued plainly.

Pigero answered grimly, "Like that matters, now. Everything's going to the dogs as we speak. It's too dangerous for man to turn against itself."

Glaring at Pigero, Yurin bitterly pointed out, "You're starting to sound like that brat…"

"Well, maybe because the guy was actually making sense out of the dire situation," Said Pigero while shrugging. "But that's my opinion."

"Yeah, well, you can keep yours to yourself. I don't need it, nor did I ask for it."

Pigero shook his head then made his way to the door.

But not before saying, "You know, I was like you, once. Angry and bitter at the world. But as I grew up, I came to appreciate what I had when I had it. The world's too big to add another selfish person in the census. It's so easy to just look out and think for yourself. How about you try helping others for a change? Maybe it'll do you some good for your consciousness and soul."

Pigero left the young woman to her thoughts. That was, until more Brutal Warriors appeared with the intent to kill her. Yurin, fortunately, drew her rose whip quick enough to fight back.

"...Kami, damn it all! Just my luck!"

King Kai's Planet, Other World

The moment the broadcast was finished, Grandpa Gohan froze in place. Despite being a dead man for over two decades, he could feel his heart pounding in horror at the sight of Central City being obliterated from off the map.

Tears of empathy fell from the beady eyes of the old man.

"M-My goodness…T-The king, Central City, gone…just like that." Grandpa Gohan whispered as he placed his hand over his chest.

Bubbles, the brown monkey, covered his eyes in hopes that he didn't see the satellite's particle cannon laser impact the region in a massive explosion.

Goku, losing his composure as he growled, "NO! Damn it! Why did he have to do it!? I get that he had it rough comin' up, but this is goin' too far!"

King Kai simply stood on the floor with his head lowered as he sighed.

"I knew he was bound to lash out. Just not this soon, or this extreme." The god thought aloud.

Goku shifted his attention to his old master with his eyes narrowed.

"You mean to tell me that you knew somethin' bad was gonna happen? Why didn't ya say anythin' before!?" The Saiyan demanded. "We could have acted much sooner and prevented all of this death!"

"Goku! Behave yourself! You are still addressing the North Kai! Show some respect!" The old man shouted, trying to defuse the situation while being in an emotional state.

Disregarding Goku's outburst, King Kai explained, "Goku, Earth is but one planet that I observe within an entire Northern Quadrant of the whole universe. I may be a god, but I am just one person. It is impossible for me to keep tabs on one person at all times when my job is to oversee the North Galaxy. And even when I had the time to view Earth, I've been too busy dealing with threats like the Saiyans, the Androids, and Cell to remember one particular human that isn't associated with your life and the craziness that it brings."

Goku gritted his teeth, but sighed as he accepted his old teacher, saying, "I guess you're right. Still, he didn't have to take out his unhappiness on innocent people!"

"Maybe to you, most people are innocent." Old Man Gohan stated. "It is in your nature to see the best in humanity. But that was my intent when I was raising you."

King Kai explained, "Your grandfather's right, Goku. Just as light can enter and guide a person's heart, so can darkness. Depending on intent, actions, and reactions, this could lead any person to lead a life of order and peace, or chaos and madness. And yes, many of your rivals and enemies have turned from their wicked ways and became better for it, but you have met despicable Earthlings and other beings that during your time alive that never changed."

Goku nodded, recalling his fights with Tao Pai Pai, the Red Ribbon Army, Demon King Piccolo, the Ginyu Force, Frieza, and finally, Cell.

"...What the mortal that we know as Jinpachi Wheelo recounted was but a short version of a series of events that led to his decision. You have to understand that regardless of the man's intentions, by claiming your son's victory, Mr. Satan's rise to his unwarranted power and undeserving fame led the man to succumb to the dark vices of his humanity. Mr. Satan rendered people that were in the middle class or of lower financial standing homeless if they didn't meet his unreasonable demands. He seized the assets of smaller businesses after suing them, all so he could put those family-owned stores out of work and replace them with his businesses to selfishly expand his wealth without a care in the world for what happens to others."

Grandpa Gohan then asked, "Not that I'm well versed in the business-talk, but wouldn't it be easier to buy out their stores and get them jobs that they already had under the bigger firm?"

"That was originally planned," King Kai stated. "That was until Mr. Satan realized that his boastful claims had not worked on everybody on Earth. Why do you think Bulma rejects any and every potential partnership deal with his business? As vain as she is and as flawed as the firm is, the Capsule Corporation benefits mankind and has been granting people job opportunities. Mr. Satan would rather hire big names from private elite social groups that can help bolster greater amounts of money at the misfortune of the poor."

"...So, your sayin' is that guy with the funny-lookin' hair's been takin' people's homes and jobs?" Goku questioned, feeling all the more disappointed in Hercule's actions after Cell's defeat.

"Yes. And that arrogant man had a big contribution to Jinpachi's life spiraling out of control. Now, we have a global crisis on our hands, and all we can do is hope that your family and friends are up to the task of putting a top to this madness." Said King Kai.

"King Kai, can't I-"

"-No! Absolutely not, Goku. You are not getting involved! Not this time!" The god cut Goku off.

"Why not!? It's not like I'm askin' to be brought back to life by the dragon. But I gotta at least talk-"

King Kai refuted, saying, "-I said no, Goku! You will not! Even if I want to say yes, the Grand Kai barred you from further communication with the living realm."

"Aw, what!? But that's not-"

"-And before you talk about what's not fair, remember, you killed me! Regardless of your intentions, that last minute decision making led to the death of a god. While I managed to veto your descent to Hell, you were stripped of certain privileges that you used to have as Earth's champion in Otherworld. You should be lucky that I argued to have them keep your physical body."

Goku and King Kai stared at each other, neither of them desiring to back down from one another. The fire of Goku's defiance diminished as soon as the logic behind King Kai's words. He bowed his head in submission to his old teacher's words, with his shoulders slumped.

Grandpa Gohan took pity on his grandson's distress and patted his back.

"It's going to be alright, son. I know that you long to help the planet, but you're dead now." Old Man Gohan said comforted before turning to King Kai. "Is it not possible for you to communicate with Goku's family and friends how dire the situation is?"

"Admittingly, I could…but I am choosing not to intervene this time." King Kai said evenly. "I, for one, have grown weary of this side of the galaxy. Seriously, I can't even do my job for ten years straight without having to constantly backtrack to this place and getting a migraine from the amount of crap that come's with it. And two, I got a call from one of the bigger guys up in the food chain. He says not to worry about Earth too much. So, I figured that I'm finally getting a break for once."

Goku turned towards the direction of his home, which happens to be the tail of Snake Way.

"...I hope they'll be alright."

Kami's Lookout, Heavenly Realm, Age 774

Dende's knees had given out, reacting to the sudden loss of life under his watch. He could feel hot tears pouring out of his eyes, feeling an overwhelming wave of sadness taken over his actions. Because of this, he dropped the staff of Kami.

"No…" The young Namekian whispered. "No, no, no, no! Why!? There were good people out of those millions of people! And now… "

Mr. Popo brought a hand to the Guardian's shoulder comfortingly, giving Dende a look of pity.

'Oh Dende…' The black majin sighed.

"Rise, Young Namekian." Kibito spurred, walking up to the two with Shin beside him. "It is unbecoming of a person with your position to be on his knees."

"B-But I failed!" Dende choked. "What good is a Kami who can't safeguard the world that he's delegated to oversee?"

Shin approached Dende and said, "Guardian, you are blinded by the grief of loss within the present, and you're plagued by the terrors of your past. Your position is to be the overseer of the planet, not its champion. You're not to blame for this devastation, for death is an absolute point for all mortals. No matter what's the cause of it."

"...Y-You're right, Lord Shin." Dende said as he wiped his tears and grabbed a hold of Kami's staff. "I just can't take this kind of carnage. It's bad enough that I've witnessed my brethren being slaughtered by Frieza's men. …And then Cell came along and began draining people's body's dry until he transformed."

Now taking a stand once more, Dende continued, "I can't bear the sight of the mortals' perpetual state of unnecessary suffering. And I wish there was more that I can do for them."

"From the way we view things, suffering is a useful tool if properly administered." Kibito explained. "If one were to undergo an arduous trial by fire, that person's suffering will force them to grow, which could lead to a change that may benefit the individual."

"A form of enlightenment, if you will." Shin finished, smiling at Dende.

Mr. Popo then turned to the Kais and asked, "Milords, if I may ask, what are we to do about the current crisis? The Earth has a weapon point directly towards it! And the human who's the cause of this is holding the world hostage! If something isn't done about him, it'll be PIccolo Daimaō all over again!"

Shin and Kibito looked over at the edge of the Lookout, with the younger Supreme Kai smiling as he could see Battle Island in the distance.

"Now that the truth has come out and the veil has been taken off of the face of the masses, the planet's trial is currently underway. Earth is starting to change. And while I'll see to my student's progress, neither Kibito nor myself will directly intervene during this process. The fate of the Earthlings rests in their own hands."

Stadium, Battle Island II

"MAKANKOSAPPO!"

"SHIN KIKOHO!"

"GALICK GUN, FIRE!"

"KAMEHAMEHA!"

Hordes of Brutal Warrior copies were being blasted left and right by Piccolo, Tenshinhan, Prince Vegeta, and Master Roshi (in his MAX power/buff state). Krillin and C18 were fending off more copies by utilizing hand to hand combat.

Up in the stands, Goten and Trunks were fending off more of the Brutal Warriors from hurting them and their mothers, Cocoa, and Marron (whom Cocoa was watching).

Both Trunks and Goten easily dealt with the Ebifurya copies, given that Saiyans can easily withstand cold temperatures and could simply raise their ki high enough to melt the ice blasts that the copies would shoot at them.

Trunks, while originally was welcomed to fight any of the Specimen Model copies, noticed that he couldn't handle the green Kishime, given their electric abilities prone to harm him. He also noticed that the Goten had trouble with the Misokatsun due to its elastic abilities.

That's when Trunks hatched an idea.

"Goten!" Trunks called out while avoiding a roundhouse kick from the green Bio-Warrior. "Take out that Magic Stick and switch bad guys with me!"

While a vein appeared on the boy's head, Goten heard this and took out his father's Nyoibo, using it to push several Misokatsun copies out of the way.

"Darn it, Trunks! For the last time, it's either called the Nyoibō or the Power Pole!" Goten corrected, crossing his arms at his friend's direction while frowning in a similar vein to Goku.

"Whatever! Just switch with me and keep that on you! You're gonna need it!" Trunks waved off as the boys flew past each other.

Goten began dealing with a horde of several Kishime, who drew their whip-like appendages from their arms and laced them with electricity.

"Yikes! Don't wanna get hit by those zappy-thingies!" Goten said before shouting, "Nyoibō, extend!"

Increasing the length of the red staff, Goten dove into the battle against the copies of the green Brutal Warriors, batting them away while subconsciously adding energy into his strikes which either split them in half vertical or took their head off.

Trunks, meanwhile, was having a blast. He had got done tearing holes through five Misokatsun by utilizing a focused Kiaihō, which was a technique that Trunks developed that served as a lesser Final Flash that he could use until Vegeta considered strong enough to learn the real deal. From there, the lavender haired boy dodged a double ax handle from another one of the copies, only to kick on into the air and fired a Buster Cannon at it, blasting it to smithereens.

Due to the ease in which the Brutal Warrior copies were easily dismantled in a rapid succession, the intercom began to blare a command as four large capsules the size of elevator cars rose at the four corners of the stadium.

"DISPATCHING M-2 UNITS! DISPATCHING M-2 UNITS!"

Suddenly, robots in varied shapes and sizes with similar material to Cooler's Robot Soldiers came pouring into the stadium, gunning and or bombing the fleeing masses as programmed by Dr. Wheelo himself. Many of these units were merely foot soldiers, or Battle Type M-2 units and larger machines that fired rocket launchers (or Ballistos) that were eventually noticed and attacked by the Dragon Team.

But due to their increasing numbers, the warriors had their hands full.

With the normal humans in the spectator's stands, Chi-Chi, Bulma, and Cocoa with little Marron in her arms, were all running for their lives while trying to evacuate with the other Earthlings to the exit where all of them were fleeing from the island in their hover vehicles.

Marron, while crying, sobbing, "I-I'm scared! I want my Mommy and Daddy!"

Cocoa held onto Marron tighter, patting the blonde girl's back as she tried to keep her safe on the orders of Krillin and C-18.

"You're Mommy and Daddy are okay, little one. Just be a good girl and wait for them." Cocoa whispered as she focused on getting her to a safe place.

While shoving and kicking people out of the way, Chi-Chi screamed, "GET THE HFIL OUT OF OUR WAY!"

"I can't believe the nerve of that slimy self-absorbed snob!" Bulma scowled as she ran next to Chi-Chi. "He points a finger at my company for not doing enough for the world, and then he blows up the Earth's CAPITAL with his own private satellite pointing at it!"

"Bulma! Now's not the time to rant about your bruised ego! We need to find a safe place for us to get our Dynacaps out and get out of here!" Chi-Chi ordered.

The small group of women and Marron eventually stopped to catch their breath. They ended up in a tunnel were up ahead was an exit, leading to a dock were people were normal transported by air buse or through their own means of transportation.

Bulma then turned to Cocoa with a glare on her face as she began to interrogate the poor girl after Marron was given to Chi-Chi.

"You knew about this, didn't you?" Bulma whispered, pointing at the girl in an accusatory manner.

Cocoa shook her head frantically, desperately trying to plead her innocence.

"No, no, no! I didn't know, I swear!" Cocoa pleaded. My father never told me anything!"

Cocoa sighed bitterly, stating, "He never trusts me with anything."

"Bulma, leave that poor girl alone!" Chi-Chi barked while holding a teary-eyed Marron. "She has nothing to do with all of this craziness!"

"Says you! Unlike you, Yanagi, or Wheelo always had it out for my company!" Bulma shot back at Chi-Chi as he turned to Cocoa. "Why should I believe that for a second? For all that we know, she could be a mole along with that monster brother of hers, sent out to spy on us and our kids!"

"W-What!? No! That's not…!" Cocoa muttered, shaking her head in denial as she thought back to her creator's previous requests regarding Gohan and Videl. "...H-He wouldn't do that to me! I have friends! My friends are real! They are real!"

The CEO took a step back out of shock, with her and the former Ox-Princess watching Cocoa beginning to break down mentally as the girl repeated the last sentence to herself out of necessity.

Chi-Chi was on the verge of chewing Bulma out without cursing, she and Cocoa squealed in fear as to what came behind the teal scientist, emerging from the metallic ground as it took a solid form which happened to be roughly the size of Piccolo. Perhaps, taller.

"…B-B-Bulma!" Chi-Chi stuttered with her finger pointed behind her friend.

The curious expression on Bulma's face turned into annoyance as she placed her hands on her hips.

"What's gotten you all shook up no-Wahhh!"

Bulma then found herself being grabbed by the arm with a large burly hand. As she was lifted up, Chi-Chi, Marron, and Cocoa had watched the figure that towered over them reveal himself in full display.

It took the form of a bulky muscular male with a long defined chin, much like Artificial Human No. 16. His "skin" was a pastel blue color, with pupiless red eyes with a crosshair pattern on them while gray screws lodged in the holes of his pointy elf-like ears. For attire, the being wore a red and gold helmet with a face mask, a red, black, and blue jacket that has armor, black brief-like undergarments, matching red forearms and ankles guards, black boots, and golden metal hands with jet wing-like appendages on his back.

This was M-2 Unit 048, Rilldo.

"BULMA/MRS. BRIEFS!" Chi-Chi and Cocoa shouted as Marron started to whimper.

"What are you doing!? Let me go!" Bulma flailed helplessly. "I said put me down, you brute!"

"Negative. You're not going anywhere, Bulma Briefs. On the orders of Dr. Wheelo, you are to be collected and taken to him as a prisoner." Rilldo stated, retracting his face mask and smirking at the squirming human. "Failure to cooperate leads to dire consequences. After all…"

The sadistic Machine Mutant gave Bulma's arm a "gentle" squeeze, causing the woman to yelp while fighting back tears. She could feel her arm being on the verge of snapping by the pressure of Rilldo's large arm. The agony was so great that Bulma was forced to her knees as she tried her hardest not to scream.

"...I am well aware of how delicate you organics truly are." The M-2 Unit stated.

Chi-Chi was going to rush in to try and save her friend when smaller M-2 robot units ganged up on her and Cocoa as a means to block her path.

The dark haired woman shrieked, "STOP IT, DAMN IT! YOU'RE HURTING HER!"

As Rilldo chuckled at the pathetic and tearful state of Bulma, he goaded, "Go ahead, you haughty brat. I want to hear you say it! Scream at the top of your lounges that you submit!"

With a bit more pressure, Rilldo got his wish on making the CEO scream. But instead of the woman giving into the unit's demands, her cries were of a desperate beckoning to her husband.

"VEGETAAA!"

The echoing call rang so far, it escaped the tunnel and managed to pierce the ears of those with enhanced hearing. This included the younger Saiyan-hybrids and the prince himself. That, and sensing the distress of his mate had prompted the full blooded Saiyan warrior to take off like a jet, homing in on Bulma's location in less than five seconds.

And before Rilldo or anybody could fathom, Bulma's arm was freed from Rilldo's clutches by a familiar white gloved hand.

Bulma's tear stained face looked up and saw her mate, no, her husband, who appeared between herself and the M-2 Unit, answering her call when it mattered the most.

And Prince Vegeta IV was not pleased in the slightest.

"... How dare you!" Vegeta growled, feeling his ki rise in anger while still in his normal state.

"W-What!? Where did you come from-ARGH!"

In a flash, the techno-organic machine found himself losing the arm that he used to snatch Bulma.

Without any warnings, Vegeta began pummeling Rilldo with his own arm while screaming, "HOW! DARE! YOU! LAY! YOUR! FILTHY! HANDS! ON! MY! BULMA!?"

On his last attack, Vegeta jumped into the Super Saiyan Level Two transformation and slammed his two feet into Rilldo's stomach, causing the techno organic to stagger back from the blow.

In a swift motion, Vegeta dashed forward and brought his hand to the face of the kneeling M-2 Unit and shouted, "NOW TASTE…MY WRATH!"

Vegeta fired a Big Bang Attack, sending Rilldo hurdling out of the tunnel and crashing into the empty private VIP tower which blew up on impact.

Vegeta, in his Super Saiyan Level Two, turned to the small horde of M-2 Units that held Chi-Chi, Cocoa, and Marron hostage.

"Feh! Nuisances, begone." Vegeta commanded, forming a Spirit Sword by cloaking his closed but unfolded hand with ki in the shape of a blade.

With three swings, the units were no more, falling apart in pieces as they were now rendered motionless by the hand of the Saiyan Prince.

The first thing that Chi-Chi did upon being able to move was rush to Marron's side so she could see if the blonde needed medical attention. Cocoa took this time to catch her breath after experiencing an emotional episode and watching blatant torture.

After dealing with the machines, Vegeta set his sights towards his wife and quickly went to her side, kneeling down to inspect her now bruised arm.

"V-Vegeta…You came for me…" Bulma murmured, while wincing at the surprisingly gentle touch of the warrior.

"Hush, you will say no more." The Prince softly spoke while reigning in on his anger to tend to his injured wife.

Vegeta took a bit of his energy as a Super Saiyan and placed his hand on the woman's arm. Bulma gasped as this warm energy began to seep into her arm, causing a sensation of relief to wash over her entire arm.

When he was done, the blond Saiyan took his hand off of Bulma's healed arm which was blemish-free.

As the blue eyed woman inspected her arm, Vegeta said, "I'm no healer, but it should spare you from the pain."

He then took his wife by the hand and said, "You always have a knack to find yourself in trouble."

Bulma's grateful expression turned into a scowl as she said, "Excuse you, buster, but that thing came after us first! It's hardly our fault!"

"Enough of your sass, woman. In case you've forgotten, that bastard threatened your life and the rest of our family, dishonoring me in the process. I will not allow that to go unpunished!" Vegeta said with a straight face as he turned to the rest of the girls. "Whatever the hell is going on that is causing you to foolishly linger on this death trap of an island is stopping here and now!"

Vegeta then turned to Cocoa and said, "You, girl!"

Cocoa yelped before she responded, "Y-Yes, sir?"

"Your cowardly father is responsible for this, and I intend on making him pay personally! Were you aware of any of this before today?" Vegeta inquired. "And if you value your life, you best not lie to me."

"N-No, sir!" Cocoa said shaking her head in fear. "I d-did not! I promise!"

While never changing his expression, Vegeta continued by asking, "Let's say that I were to believe you, what could you tell me about this so-called Dr. Wheelo? Is there anything that he managed to share with you?"

"He n-never tells me anything major. …F-Father barely even talks to me at all, only bothering to look for me when he has some sort of basic use for me." Cocoa explained, with her fearful expression shifting into more of a solemn face. "But Father always shared his animosity towards Mr. Satan and his influence over the world. I would often hear his aspirations for a global awakening, for the world to know the truth."

Bulma's eyes soften at the words of the young lady as the brown haired girl continued.

"I always had a f-feeling that my father would try and expose Mr. Satan somehow, but I never would have imagined that he'd take it this far. None of this was supposed to happen! T-This was supposed to be a fun tournament." The pale skinned girl said as she began to tear up.

While holding Marron in her arms, Chi-Chi walked over to the scientist, saying, "See, Bulma? She's clearly against the man. We don't have anything to worry about from that girl."

Bulma nodded, with her eyes now filled with guilt. She then approached the dark eyed girl and embraced the traumatized girl and began to whisper sincere apologies. This touching little moment brought a tear to Chi-Chi's eye, while Vegeta kept a hardened exterior.

But deep down, hearing the fate of Cocoa reminded the Saiyan Prince of his servitude to the tyrannical Arcosian, Frieza, who he was enslaved by ever since he was a young boy. And on top of that, he was a father, himself.

This fueled the anger of Vegeta even further, which gave him all the more reason to want to kill the blasted Earthling.

After sixty seconds, Vegeta barked, "Enough of your blubbering! Now leave while you still have the chance!"

"Right!" The women nodded before making a break for it towards the exit.

"YOU BETTER BE SAFE OUT, YOU HEAR ME VEGETA!?" A certain blue haired scientist screamed while running away.

'I will try, Bulma. I will try, for you.' The seasoned warrior thought to himself.

As soon as the three women (with little Marron) were out of sight, Vegeta fired a ki-blast out of his right index finger, causing a large amount of debris to fall down, purposely blocking the exit. Vegeta then proceeded to walk out of the other side of the tunnel and head back into the stadium.

His ear twitched at a shrieking sound, causing the Saiyan to get back into his fighting stance. Out of reflex, Vegeta backflipped out of the way of Rilldo's sneak attack as the M-2 Unit lunged at the ground with a drill for a hand, forming a perfect hole beneath him.

The Super Saiyan noticed that the missing arm that he had ripped off had been either reattached to the techno organic being or have regrown.

'Damn machine! It's like I'm dealing with those Androids again!' Vegeta growled mentally.

"Alien specimen, recognized. Designation, Vegeta. Species, Saiyan." The machine stated robotically before his personality returned. "I was hoping that I'd eventually run into you by weeding out the weak organics. However, it would appear that you've found me, instead. This is all too perfect."

"Is that right?" Vegeta scowled, folding his arms across his chest. "I wasn't aware that you've been seeking your own destruction so eagerly. If I had known sooner, I would have spared you the trouble and sent you to hell myself. Assuming your creator knows me well enough."

"As a matter of fact, he does." Rilldo smirked. "In fact, he's created units like me to counter meddling pests like you! I am the answer to you, alien, and I plan on bringing your pelt to the doctor while your battered corpse is stored away for later dissection."

Vegeta snorted at the M-2 Unit's declaration, stating, "You, an answer to me? Ha! Your bravado is just as delusional as your foolish creator! If he was just as knowledgeable as he thinks he is, then you should know that it's foolish to underestimate the power of a Saiyan!"

Vegeta slid back into his fighting stance when he finished his previous sentence.

"I'll be the judge of that, alien! Initiating combat sequence! Engage!" Rilldo chided before lunging at the Super Saiyan.

And so, the great battle between Vegeta and Rilldo began.

-With Piccolo, (along with Tenshinhan, C-18, and Krillin)-

Running. That's what Akira, the current announcer of the Tenkaichi Budōkai was doing. He had long since suspected that something large was about to occur in the Dai-Yōsō-Ken Budōkai finals. He could just feel the tension. The illustrious Dr. Yanagi, now known as, Dr. Wheelo. Had been funding the whole shebang. And it was common knowledge that the man was not a fan of Mr. Hercule Satan.

Not that Akira could blame him, of course. Akira was no Hercule fan, himself.

Disregarding the fact that he blew up the capital of the planet for a moment, everything that the formerly frail man said about the martial artist was accurate. Mr. Satan was a charlatan that took the fame whom Akira swore belonged to a blond Goku and the fighters that joined him during the Cell Games. It made sense to the man, given that he had been following the Saiyan's martial arts journey from child to adulthood, so recognizing his face and voice was easy to him. Not to mention, Krillin, Yamcha, Piccolo, and Tenshinhan were present alongside the man wearing the Turtle School colored gi. Besides, Mr. Satan was nowhere nearly as strong as Goku and the other fighters. Akira was pretty sure that Chaotzu could take him.

And for the man to simply discredit them and all practitioners of ki into hiding as a means to commercialize the tournaments by going corporate was the worst possible thing that could happen in the long term. Yes, it did elevate his position and dramatically increased his revenue as a working man, the meaning and most importantly, the passion behind the artform was slowly being lost behind the cash prize, the glamor, and the fame of becoming as big as the "World Savior".

The Tenkaichi Budōkai devolved into becoming a show, rather than a prestigious and rigorous contest.

And to Akira, this so-called "homage" was everything that embodied how low that the event has stopped.

But Goku's son and the other contestants had done something that the blond haired man never would've guessed to have gained.

Hope. Hope in the future of the tournaments to come, and hope for the martial arts world as a whole.

…That is, if the planet were to service this revolution.

His train of thought was quickly squandered by an incoming Misokatsun charging at him, with the intent to tear his face apart judging by its outstretched right arm and open claw. The blond wearing black shades panicked as he placed his back to the wall, watching his own life flash before his eyes. The Brutal Warrior's action was immediately halted by a familiar sharp nailed green hand piercing through the artificial being's chest cavity.

Recognizing the cloaked figure that was in front of him, Akira whispered, "M-Majunior!"

Majunior, or Piccolo, said nothing as took out his arm from Misokatsun. He then grabbed the being by the face, chucked him upwards and fired an Explosive Breath Cannon from his mouth, incinerating the copy in a matter of seconds.

When the immediate threat was handled, Akira found the strength to stand as he adjusted his glasses to get a better look at the Namekian.

"W-Wow! It is you! I never thought I'd say this but, boy, am I glad to see you again!" Akira happily stated for the moment.

Never changing his serious demeanor, Piccolo questioned, "What do you think you're still doing here? The whole place is going to hell right now!"

Akira nervously laughed as he rubbed the back of his neck, explaining, "Yeah, I kind of noticed that when those things began flooding the area! I got lost in the shuffle of people racing for any exit they could find and only just got room to make a break for it. Hahaha!"

Piccolo turned away and began to levitate and said, "Leave now, if you wish to make it out of here with your life intact. You may not be so fortunate to have me or somebody else risk their neck for you again."

The announcer for the normal tournament paled as he said, "Will do, Majunior! Good luck!"

And with that, Akira dashed off to the nearest exit without much trouble as he ran for his life.

Just as Piccolo was about to jump back into the fray with the remnants of the Brutal Warriors and the newly dispatched M-2 Units, a large neon green spherical bubble formed out of nowhere before the fused Namekian.

While watching this phenomenon, Piccolo could sense a great abundancy of energy coming from the source of light that caused his jaw to drop.

'T-This ki! It's outrageous! It's like I'm sensing Vegeta powering up!'

Within a few seconds, the light died dow, allowing the entity that caused the light to emerge. The being was a couple inches taller than Piccolo in height. What appeared to possibly be a skin like substance was a pink hue while the armor that covered him in parts happened to be red. He also had green oval shaped crystals on his arms, chest and head which glow brightly when he is storing up energy.

This was M-2 Unit 049, Hatchiyack.

The techno organic machine studied the fused Namekian with its eyeless sclera, using its built in scanners to provide him the means to analyze his opponent. From there, the result of his scan confirmed whom he was supposed to fight being right in front of him.

Piccolo immediately dropped into his stance, not being the one to blindly charge into a confrontation without guaging the abilities of his foe.

'I better stay on guard for this one. There's no telling what this monster is capable of.'

Silently, the machine began to gather the lingering negativity of the fallen Earthlings in the form of dark violet smoke, which he then converted into energy which was indicated by the gems glowing on his body.

"What the–!?"

Before he knew it, a large beam of green energy was fired, creating a brilliant flash which was followed by a large explosion.

-With Goten, Trunks, and the Eliminated Fighters-

Upa, summoning his catori (energy) axes, had been hacking through smaller M-2 units (Myuubots) in a rapid succession.

Pigero and Lime stuck together, with the older fighter firing blasts of reiki to destroy multiple rockets from the Ballisto units, allowing the red haired young lady to shatter the machines with energy focused leg and fist strikes strong enough to destroy them.

Not too far from those three was Yurin, who took out special seeds and manipulated the ki from within each seed to rapidly grow vines and plants for her to manipulate with the greenery with her majutsu. And given that larger machines had now started to roam around in hopes to run into some of the stronger opponents (i.e., a giant lion based robot named M-2 Unit 025, Leon), Yurin took it upon herself to face the larger foes head on with a giant wooden oni to combat the lion.

After rallying up the rest of the copies of the Brutal Warriors, Goten and Trunks flew towards each other and gave each other a nod while Goten sheathed the Nyoibō.

Smirking, the two half-Saiyans created a small ball of ki and chucked them at the remaining colorful foes, sending all of them into the next dimension in a combined explosion.

The boys landed on an unoccupied space to catch their breath, taking pride in their handiwork.

"Hmph! Those clowns didn't stand a chance against us, eh Goten?" Trunks grinned, raising a hand for a fist bump.

The red headband-wearing son of Goku returned a fist bump to his best friend, saying, "Yeah!"

Goten then took a moment to observe the carnage that he hadn't previously noticed back during Cooler's invasion. Outside the addicting action, it didn't occur to the child how many lives had been lost until he recognized the amount of corpses lying in the stands, with bloodstains and bullet wounds left from the newly deployed mechanical foes. Others were either frozen in blocks of ice, had been fried, or crushed into paste by the Brutal Warriors.

'...T-Those are a lot of dead bodies.' Goten thought to himself solemnly.

"Hey, Goten!" Trunks said, snapping his fingers twice to get his friend's attention. "Hello! Earth to Goten!"

Goten blinked a couple of times before responding.

"Huh, whats up?" Goten said, looking as oblivious as ever.

"What's got you all spooked? Dude, you zoned out on me for, like, ten seconds." Trunks inquired.

Goten's face softened, shifting his head to the stands that were near them. Trunks looked towards that direction while raising an eyebrow.

"Uh, Goten? There are no enemies here." Trunks pointed out.

"It's just…" Goten whispered in a small and rather timid voice, shifting his small feet a little. "...T-This looks different from all of the scary movies that we watched. I can smell the blood coming from the bodies, Trunks. This is all so real…So lifeless…"

Processing what his friend was describing, Trunks paled a little before quickly shaking it off.

Trunks then pounded the top of the dark haired Saiyan's head with his right fist.

"Ouch!" Goten yelped as he rubbed his head before glaring at his friend. "What the heck was that for, Trunks! That hurts!"

"You were talking stupid, like, more than usual." Trunks said, folding his arms while mimicking his father's scowl. "Quit acting so scared! You do realize that we've got Dragon Balls, right? As long as we've got those bad boys and call on the dragon's power, we can wish all of the dead folks back to life once this was all over and done with. They always work to our favor anyway, so why worry?"

Goten sighed, then nodded slowly as he muttered, "...I guess you're right."

'...Except when they don't.' Goten thought, recalling why his late father couldn't be wished back by Shenron.

Before either of the boys could do anything, they began to hear a loud high pitch whistling sound akin to a meteorite entering the atmosphere.

"...Trunks, do you hear that?" Goten questioned in a serious manner.

Trunks, narrowing his eyes once more, said, "Definitely, but where is it coming from?"

Suddenly, there was a loud crash as debris, metal and earth was sent flying from the impact of whatever had landed, leaving a fairly large crater at the epicenter.

The two boys moved closer to the smoking crater, then turned to face each other with inquisitive expressions for a few seconds.

"...So, what now-?" Trunks asked comedically, only for whatever landed to spring about twenty feet into the air.

Goten and Trunks dashed and backflipped a couple of meters back respectively. When the large figure came down, the boys nearly ruined their clothes at the size of what stood in front of them.

This machine, which was the size of an Oozaru, had a large metal scorpion-like body that seemed to possess a similar material as the other M-2 units and Cooler's Robot Soldiers. It possessed a mouth with a single red eye above it, two claws, feet with two toes and a giant tail.

This titan of a robot was M-2 Unit 050, Scorpius.

While crimson sparks of electricity surged around it, a deathly aura was emanating from Scorpius, which sent chills down Goten's spine.

"T-Trunks! I think we're in trouble!" Goten cowered while taking a few steps back in out of fear.

The lavender haired boy scoffed, saying, "Stop acting like a baby, Goten. For crying out loud, Saiyans! If anything is in trouble, it's this slow hunk of junk! And who knows, maybe this thing could put up a decent challenge!"

The boy dropped into his father's stance as the machine scanned the two hybrid's power, causing Scorpius to recognize Goten and Trunks' recent data files.

"Come on! Show us what you got, bug bot!" Trunks goaded. "I bet you're too slow even touch-!"

The next thing that they knew, Trunks and Goten found themselves being slammed into a nearby wall at speeds they couldn't perceive by the tail of the M-2 unit.

While gasping for air while lodged into the wall's surface, Goten said, "...T-Trunks?"

"...Not. A-Another. Word." The pained lavender hybrid grunted.

"...I told you so." Goten sassed, disregarding a disgruntled growl from his friend.

-With Gohan and Videl-

Videl's current emotions were intensified by pure urgency and blind fury. If one were to count, she had racked out an impressive body count of forty five Brutal Warriors and thirty M-2 Units. That's seventy five opponents that the daughter of Hercule was ruthlessly teary through as more tried to close in on the teenage girl.

And Videl was still going.

But honestly, with the state that the world was under, at the moment, who could blame the girl? Videl had finally overcome her own self doubt as a true martial artist, she was on her way to the finals, and finally managed to score a date with her classmate and teacher. Life, despite the situation that she had with her father, was going well for her.

…That was, until the announcement occurred.

Now, the truth about her father was out, Central City was blasted out of existence by the man that she once admired like an uncle, and now said man was trying to conquer the world, his son had kidnapped her best friend, and is planning to kill her father as a means to make an example out of him. With an assassin that tormented Mr. Satan, of all people!

Yeah, anybody would be unhappy if they were in her shoes.

Anywho, right now, Videl had long since moved past the, now destroyed, Brutal Warrior copies, and was punching and kicking larger versions of Battle Type M-2 Units which resembled Cooler's Robot Soldiers. Some were being thrown, others were being blasted by her Suzaku-Ho. But Videl mostly favored dismantling them by kicking their heads off.

At some point, many of the smaller units started to pile on Videl, causing her to scream, "ARGH! Get the hell off of me!"

This was a means to immobilize the human in order to gun her down in cold blood.

Feeling her ki boiling over, Videl let out a scream before unleashing an outward blast. This shockwave while sending the robots that were clinging onto her body and other nearby units within the area which she fought into the next dimension, had a unique effect in creating a shriek that was not unlike a bird of some kind.

When the smoke cleared, Videl emerged from the wreckage, currently catching her breath while never losing her hardened expression.

It was at this instant where a warping sound was heard from the ears of Videl. Whipping her body around, Videl threw a right hook with ki enhanced as a means to shatter whatever that snuck behind her.

However, Videl's eyes widened as her wrist was grabbed with enough force to stop her punch but with enough care as to not harm Videl. She immediately recognized the sensation and energy signature as she then made eye contact with the individual.

That person being Son Gohan, himself.

The teen, while gazing upon the distressed and angered Videl Satan, couldn't help but empathize with his student's plight.

"...Easy, Videl-san. It's only me." Gohan softly spoke, still holding the girl's wrist.

Videl did not respond, still huffing as she was trying to catch her breath. Seeing this, Gohan took out a spare Senzu Bean from his obi sash and showed it to the girl.

"Here," Gohan said, gaining the girl's attention. "Take it. You need it more than I do."

She took the bean without hesitation, then consumed it, gaining back her strength and stamina within seconds.

"Thanks for the bean," Videl thanked gratefully. "Were you able to track Erasa down?"

Gohan shook his head negatively, stating, "It's no use. I tried pinpointing her ki, but It's too low for me to lock it down for me to use Instant Transmission to get to her. I think Khan's threads are messing with her energy signature. Hell, I'm having trouble locating Khan right now. The best thing that we can do is to let Sharp-san deal with him and rescue Erasa-san."

"Shit!" Videl cursed, trying her best not to have a meltdown. "What am I going to do!? My best friends are at the mercy of a monster and my dad's been taken hostage! If I don't do something, I'll lose them-"

"Videl!" Gohan shouted, now dropping the formal suffix from the girl's name, holding her by the shoulders while speaking in a commanding voice.

Gohan's stoic but concerning spare pierced through the heart of the young woman, giving the hybrid her full attention.

"You need to calm down. I'll admit, things couldn't be worse for everybody right now. But panicking is the last thing you should be doing right now. And yes, Sharpner has died in a crisis like this before. But you know what? This moment, right now, is what you, me, and especially, he have been training for. It's not a death-free guarantee, but it'll give him a chance to prove to Khan, and to himself that he has what it takes to make it in a world like this and protect whom he holds dear to him. And now it's your turn to have faith him Sharpner, just as he has always had faith in you."

"I know, Gohan-kun, I know," Videl whimered as two streams of tears started to cascade from her eyes, momentarily allowing her hardened walls to crumble. "...B-But I can't help it, I-I'm scared! I don't want my f-friends to die! I don't want to l-lose my Daddy!"

The hybrid's heart broke at the sound of Videl' words, suddenly recalling the moment where he had lost Goku because of his arrogance. His mournful cries for his father to come back echoed loudly in his mind. It was reminiscent of that exact moment, to Gohan at least.

Suddenly, Videl found herself being embraced by the Saiyan warrior, prompting the blue eyed girl to gasp in surprise.

"I know," Gohan whispered, empathizing with his student. "I've been there, lots of times. Even now, I'm scared more than I've ever been. There's a lot more for me to lose, like you guys. But I need you to be strong, Videl. For our friends, for the planet, and for your father. They need you, now. …I need you."

Videl, while letting the words of her teacher sink in, felt a familiar feminine compulsion come over her once again. She didn't know if it was because of her hormones, the captivating appearance of her classmates, her personal inner feelings, the heat of the moment, or a combination of all of these factors. And personally, she didn't care.

Videl Satan, being the bold one, took a leap of faith and leaned forward, planting her soft lips onto Son Gohan's. And while the Saiyan was caught off guard at first, he ended up reciprocating the kiss, which lasted about ten seconds.

When the two parted the kiss and their embrace, the girl said while wiping her tears way, "Gohan-kun, thank you. I needed to hear that. More than you ever know."

"I'm glad to help, Videl-san. And I'll always be there to help you whenever I can." Gohan said while placing his index and middle fingers from his right hand on his forehead. "Ready to save your father, partner?"

While asking this, Gohan's free was extended to Videl.

Videl looked at Gohan and formed a confident and brazen grin as she locked her right hand together with his left hand.

"You bet your tail I am, Wonderboy! That shitty doctor and old buzzard's got a ton to answer for! Let's go kick some ass!" Videl declared as her classmate, now-turned-lover, locked on to Dr. Wheelo's ki signature.

"Right! I've got a lock on him, now! Instant Transmission!"

And with that, the newly formed crime fighting couple teleported out of the stadium, now heading towards the nefarious Dr. Wheelo's current location.

To Be Continued…

Find out next Dragon Ball Z: PRIMAL!

Author's Note: …Ya'll thought that I forgot about this, didn't you? Nah, baby, I'm back!

Long time, no see! I've returned from the depths of the Shadow Realm to bring you the start of the second half of the Wheelo Saga! I've been gone for a minute because I needed a break from posting part after part every two to four weeks. These take time, and yet I'd be so excited to get to the moment that I like that these chapters end up becoming a chore to go through, you know? And I don't want to be stuck on one specific part in this story, then suffer from burn out or writer's block. It's unfair to those who wish to see how the rest of the story unfolds, and its unfair to myself.

And so, I had to leave this alone until I was ready to come back in finish it. And boy, after a few months of writing SONIC RESURGENCE for a hot minute, I'm fully recharged and ready to tackle the rest of this crazy mess of a saga.

Speaking of crazy, I know that a good portion of you guys are going to ask me about adding the Machine Mutants and General RILLDO from GT, HATCHIYACK from the Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans, and the original Dr. Wheelo's exoskeleton from the World's Strongest all in one setting. Well, outside of it being my story and the coolness factor, Wheelo is a biotech engineer who loves to mess with the idea of creating life through gene splicing and technology. It would make sense that after salvaging and studying Cooler's tech, he'd come up with a bunch of machines with organic materials that could be used against the Dragon Team and other potential threats to his plans. So, I figured to re-contextualize certain villains as mini bosses for the other fighters. This included Vegeta, who didn't make it to the Cooler Invasion last saga.

Coming back to Goku, I wanted to expand as to the reason why Goku hasn't poke to his family in the last seven year. You'd think he'd be punished for him accidently killing a god of King Kai's status and getting away with interfering with the world of the living. Well, that's what I'm exploring. What if Goku had some of his "special" privileges revoked from him? That means, no communicating with the living, no coming back for a day, none of that bullshit from Bojack Unbound where he somehow crosses over back to the physical plane while still being dead! Nope, the Earth will have to fend for itself for a change without former protagonist to save it. Hell, King Kai is so tired of Earth and the bullshit that it draws that not even he is going to deal with their problems (which is explained in the chapter).

The same actually goes for Shin, here. Shin (and Kibito) may be creator gods that oversee the entire universe, but as of now, he merely wants to see if Earth is correct itself from the chaos it is under. After all, the planet is going through a change, which is the theme of this saga.

I'm also experimenting on the friendship between Goten and Trunks, given that Goten is starting to come into his own person and realize how dark the world truly is, instead of being Gohan's little brother and little Goku Jr. This is also a bit of commentary of how toxic of a friend Kid Trunks can be. Let me know if you guys are interesting in seeing more of this. I'd love to tackle this further.

This goes into Bulma's character. Along with the Earth, I believe that she deserves some spotlight on how much she takes her life and life, in general, for granted. The way that she abuses the Dragon Balls and Shenron's power is going to be explored by the end of this saga. Let me know on your thoughts regarding her being humbled by Rilldo was portrayed.

And finally, yes! ViHan is officially a thing now in PRIMAL! We've made it, baby! I hope it was worth the wait! Let's see how their relationship will play out in the rest of the story going forward!

Anyway, let me know if you guys have questions, comments, concerns, suggestions, and criticisms by leaving a review! I enjoy reading what you have to say if it's meaningful and thought provoking! I'm tired and I have an exam to study for in the morning, so I'll see you all next time!
