Leilani wasn't in a good mood, far from it. Colonnello was still not back to his senses, He had stood up the moment she woke up to get ready alone in the bathroom. Even when she had woken up in the middle of the night he hadn't hugged her any longer and it hurt.
She kept quiet though, burying herself in his T-shirt to gain any kind of lifeline.
He was awkward when he came out of the bathroom and when they made their way downstairs he was again not touching her.
She had no real appetite when she sat at the breakfast table just slowly drinking her tea, it tasted wrong.
The hitman cleared his throat, staring straight at the rain "Colonnello? I fixed up Luce's old bedroom."
"He's not leaving. I told you to stop this shitshow!" she immediately bristled up.
"You're stopping him from leaving if that's what he wants?"
Nello ruffled through his hair, clearly conflicted "Skull… maybe it's for the better."
It was like someone had taken a sledgehammer and hit her with all their might. "You.. you can't be serious."
"There is an age difference. I get where he's coming from and… well… I don't know what to say, kora."
The hitman hummed as an answer, raising his cup to toast slightly to the rain "It's the right decision."
She had enough. She had far too much of this. She had no patience left.
Leilani tilted her chin up "How's Bianchi, Reborn?"
"She got nothing to do with this."
"Nothing? What final words from the guy who dated an underage girl as a toddler and is now trying to destroy my friendship."
"I'm not trying anything. It's improper and you know that Bianchi and I never actually dated."
"I've got invited to your wedding."

Her laughter was humourless "I was never a child Reborn. Never. So take that word out of your mouth."

"I did." The hitman stayed calm though. Not backing down again.

I was the one who stood in front of my parents' killer and killed him twice! I was the one who went down to the chamber of secrets to save my best friend's baby sister from dying as every adult was useless! I had to kill the gigantic snake! I was entered in a deadly tournament for adults because it was me! I did more in my life! I achieved more than you could have ever dreamed of at that age! I was never raised to be a child! I was raised to be a fighter! A saviour! Did you kill the most feared man alive for the first time at one year old? No, you didn't! But I did!"
"Skull. Calm down."
She raised up, her hands slamming on the table "No! I won't! Can you even fathom what I can do? I wasn't able to do it back then but I swear I'm able to now! I can erase myself from existence! You could never find me if I didn't want you to!
The difference between you all and me is that I don't need a useless name to find someone and I need even less to hide my whole existence from you! The moment he tried to stand up her flames sparked up and instead of his planned action he stumbled over his own legs, knocking over his cup in the process and stumbling to the floor.

Fon stood up, his hands raised in a placating manner "Skull. Let us talk. We can remedy this. We won't force you-"
Her magic was twirling around her, the air filled with a deep smell of ozone, her eyes shining in all colours of the rainbow, just aching to strike out.
She ignored him though instead staring straight at her rain "You're really willing to throw this away? What we had? All because of Reborns opinion? Why does it matter?
You're my rain, my element, my best friend. He's not. All of this just proves to me again why I want none of the others as mine and you still choose their opinion over mine?
I took years to let you close to me and you are willing to throw all of this away just because I'm younger than you thought? 19 years Nello. 19.
We were friends for that long and now you're willing to let go of all of this? Did I mean nothing to you? Did all of this mean nothing to you? Was I just your own little pet project? Does this all end now because I'm younger?

"Skull..." the rain tried to speak, completely searching for words but desperation seeping through.
"So all I… Everything…. All of this was just an illusion? I never meant that much to you? I was never worth it? Everything is less important than my age? You don't want me anymore? You're disgusted by touching me?"

She wanted to get away and her magic reacted as she was completely overwhelmed, turmulted and with a loud crack she was gone and something fell to the floor.
