Luz was almost to the castle, using her lightspeed to get there fast. She was about to cross the bridge when a vine caught her leg. She fell to the ground and dropped her sword.
"Luz, you need to stop!" Willow said.
"You're not thinking right!" Gus said as they all landed around her.
"No, I am! The only way to make this cycle of pain end is to kill the one who stared it!" Luz shouted.
"Luz, you're on a suicide mission!" Boscha said.
"Please, don't do this! We don't want anything bad to happen to you!" Amity said as Luz called the Monado back to her hands. "Please, just stop and calm down."
"I am calm!" Luz said.
Luz stood up and got ready to continue before Willow stood in front of her.
"No you're not! You're hurt, grieving, and not thinking! Please, let's just go and talk about this!" Willow said with her arms out.
Luz looked at them.
"I'm done talking." Luz said, holding up her sword, "Get out of my way."
"Luz, no. Please, we just want to help you." Gus said, moving beside Willow. "Like you've help us so many times."
"Sorry." Luz said, switching to fire mode, "But that Luz is gone."
Luz charged at them, Willow was barely able to put her hammer up in order to stop Luz's sword.
"If you won't get out of my way, then I'll just go through you!" Luz said.
"You'd fight us?!" Willow asked, shocked like the rest of them!
This made them afraid, for several reasons. One, she's the most trained when it comes to the weapons, two, she can hold all of them. Each weapon has a special ability to only be held by it wielder, but since they are also linked to the Monado, Luz can hold and use them without worry. Three... none of them wanted to hurt Luz.
"Then get out of my way and help me! I don't want to fight you either but I will!" Luz said with a growl.
"We can't let you do this!" Willow said pushing Luz back.
"Then you leave me no choice!" Luz said.
She gripped the Monado and flashed the ice glyph, summoning ice around her to capture freeze all of them in place so they can't stop her but only Willow was frozen up to her head as Gus, Amity, and Boscha were fast enough to fly up! Gus threw his boomerang at Luz, but she managed to catch it and threw it back at him.
"Whoa!" Gus let out, ducking back as he dodged his own boomerang! "My boomerang!"
"Luz, please don't do this!" Amity said, forming her abomination blade as Boscha formed her dragon blades. "Don't make us fight you!"
"Then stop getting in the way." Luz growled.
Luz summoned Amethyst, who was hesitant to help, and allowed Luz to fly up her girlfriends and friend.
"Scatter!" Gus shouted, flying away as his boomerang finally came back.
"No!" Amity said, using abominations to grab Luz's staff, "We're not going to let you do this!"
"You don't know Belos like I do! He NEEDS to die!" Luz shouted, sending a fire slash at Amity before Boscha blocked it.
"We know! But what you're doing is suicide!" Boscha said.
With one final pull, Amity took Amethyst from Luz and forced her to ride the Monado in fire mode.
"Please, just think for a second. Is this really what Eda would want you to do?" Amity asked as she caught Amethyst in her other hand.
"Don't even say her name!" Luz said through clenched teeth.
Luz flew down on the Monado and swung at Amity. Amity blocked with her sword, flinching at the angry look Luz gave her. Amity's feet actually began to sink into the ground from Luz's strength.
"Luz, please!" Amity said as she began sweating.
"Sorry about this!" Gus said, quickly kicking Luz away. "Really sorry about that!"
"Apology somewhat accepted!" Luz said, stabbing the ground and making vines grow to trap Gus.
Luz switched to light mode and slammed the sword on the ground, blinding them all. By the time Boscha had her vision return, Luz was falling towards her with her sword ready for a blow. She barely had time to put her swords up, and even when she did, Luz's strike was enough for Boscha to lose her grip and had to quickly hold them in a reverse hold, blocking each attack Luz gave.
'Sweet Titan, has she always been this intense?!' Boscha thought, blocking another swing before spinning behind Luz and locking their arms together as they stood back to back!
Luz tried to overpower Boscha to free her arms but the triclops had more developed muscles from her years of grudgby!
"Luz, you need to stop!" Boscha said, "This isn't you, you would never act like this!"
Luz growled as she still tried to break free. Luz leaned her head back and then slammed it against Boscha's head, making her let go and hold her third eye.
"Ugh!" Boscha grunted before Luz spun around and hit her with the blunt sword!
The triclops was knocked to the ground while Luz look guilty for a moment but shook it off as she turned to her other girlfriend.
"Give me my palisman, Amity." Luz said, making vines grow around Boscha to hold her down.
"No." Amity said.
"NOW BLIGHT!" Luz yelled.
Hearing Luz call her that, it hurt Amity, making her clench her sword but she stood firm.
'If I want to stop the girl I love from doing something crazy, I have to stand my ground!' Amity thought.
"I won't! I know you're in pain but this won't make it go away!" Amity shouted.
"HOW WOULD YOU KNOW!? YOU'VE NEVER LOST ANYONE! NONE OF YOU HAVE LOST PEOPLE! NOT LIKE ME! I LOST FIVE PEOPLE IN LESS THAN TWO MONTHS BECAUSE THEY TRIED TO HELP ME!" Luz said.
"I KNOW BUT DO YOU THINK THEY WOULD WANT YOU TO BE LIKE THIS?! ON A ROAD TO SELF-DESTRUCTION AND RAGE!?" Amity shouted back, crying at her cold Luz was being.
Luz put her sword up, ready to fight Amity.
'If I want to stop her... I have to hurt her.' Amity thought.
"Fine, we'll do it the hard way then." Amity said.
The two ran at each other. If you didn't know they were dating, you'd swear they were mortal enemies. Luz swung at Amity who... disappeared.
'An Illusion spell?' Luz thought.
Luz felt a sharp pain and looked down, seeing Amity's sword sticking through her torso from the back.
"Guh!" Lit grunted, feeling blood drip from her mouth.
"I'm sorry but I didn't know what else to do to make you stop." Amity said, pulling her sword out and keeping Luz from falling down.
"A-Amity." Luz said, feeling too weak to move.
Amity didn't respond, instead she delivered a strong punch to Luz's head, knocking her out.
