Neo Metal Saga Episode 10: Neo Metal Madness
Not long ago, it's revealed that Dr. Eggman is not behind what's been happening: The abducted friends, the Egg Fleet, the Fortress, and other attacks. Neo Metal Sonic is the true mastermind. And now, Neo Metal Sonic has transformed into a horrifying, terrifying dragon-like robotic monster on the top of the Egg Fortress. Soon, many Badniks begins running past
"Metal Sonic has finally transformed! "Eggman says, shocked.
Sonic asks, shocked, "So that's Metal Sonic?!"
"He's… he's so big…" Cream says, frightened.
"More like gigantic," Eve says.
"How are we going to stop that thing?" Fiona asks.
"I'm afraid it's useless," Eggman says.
"Nothing's useless. We can take on that overgrown dragon robot," Sonic says.
"But you can't defeat him, Metal Sonic is too strong, especially now he has collected all your data and the power of Chaos," Eggman says.
"Wait, what?!" Vector asks, shocked.
That's when Shadow realizes, "That's why he abducted Maria and the others."
"Yes. I've used some of the copy data I've discovered in Emerl and put it in Metal Sonic's program. Metal Sonic has had your friends kidnapped so he can copy the data they have. The Chao are connected to Chaos so he needed them to acquire it," Eggman explains.
"And since Froggy ended up with a lot of Chaos within him, he needed the data from Froggy too," Tails says.
"That is correct," Eggman says.
"But what about Maria, Cosmo, and Saffron, and why get all of us involved? Knuckles asks.
Soon, Eve realizes, "Metal Sonic did it so he can collect our data and copy our abilities."
"That would be the case. Neo would know you go after your friends, and have them separated so he can divide and copy the data from each of you. And once he's done, he simply returns them to you," Eggman explains.
"But we only got to Metropolis because of you, what was that about?" Vector asks.
"A way to show you what's going on, but it seems you're smarter than you appear," Eggman says.
"And I'm guessing the strange signal was caused by Metal Sonic to draw us, and he gave us Maria because he was done copying our data," Rouge says.
"Afraid so," Eggman says.
"And since Maria has the data of Ultimate Life, he needed her too," Eve says.
"Yes, everything is true, but it doesn't matter! Metal Sonic has combined your data with the power of Chaos and is super strong! We can't defeat it!" He then groans in frustration, "Aargh… if only we had the seven Chaos Emeralds!"
He then takes out a cyan blue one, "Sadly, I've only got one in my possession. I managed to keep this hidden from Metal when I found it."
"Actually," Amy says.
Cream soon takes out a yellow Chaos Emerald.
"A Chaos Emerald?!" Eggman says, shocked. "But how?"
"I actually found it while we were on the beach searching for Chocola and Froggy. Cheese actually found it in the sand," Cream says.
"Hey, so did we," Charmy says.
Then Charmy brings out a Red Chaos Emerald.
"We actually found ours while we were in the Power Plant," Vector says.
Nic brings out a purple Chaos Emerald while Eve brings out a white Chaos Emerald.
"Eve and I managed to find these while bouncing around Bingo Highway," Nic says.
Omega then brings out a Green Chaos Emerald.
"Omega found this beautiful gem while we were in that crazy mansion," Rouge says.
And Sonic brings out the Blue Chaos Emerald, "And Knuckles, Tails, and I found this one in the canyon while getting back to the Tornado 2. After defeating eggman's imposter."
Eggman is very shocked to see that through the adventures, all five groups have found the other six Chaos Emeralds.
But then, Eggman says, "Even with the Emeralds' power, our chances for victory are slim. It would take a miracle!"
Sonic steps forward, "Just leave that to us, Doc…"
But Amy grows worried, "Sonic, no!"
"Sonic and I can handle this Metal sonic," Eve says.
"Will you be okay?" Maria asks.
Eve gently pats Maria's head, "I'll be fine. This won't be the first time Sonic and I go super."
Then Tails steps forward, "I'm going with you, too!"
So does Knuckles, "You can count me in, too."
Then Shadow says, "Okay guys, we'll buy you some time. That way you can use your super powers."
Everyone agrees with the idea.
Tails and Knuckles stand by Sonic and Eve's side. Sonic, everyone gathers together and begins to face the enemy before them.
"Okay then, let's get ready to do this. We'll show that creep the real super power of TEAMWORK!" Sonic says.
And with that, the battle against Metal Sonic, now called Metal Madness begins.
Team Rose is the first to create the distraction. Amy brings out her Piko hammer and throws it at the Metal Madness in the head. The robot growls in anger and turns to see Team Rose.
"You're the one responsible for kidnapping our friends!" Amy says.
"How can you do something so mean, you, you big bully!" Cream shouts.
And then Big says, "You're gonna pay for this.
Metal Madness growls in anger, "I'll tear you to pieces!"
Amy turns to Big, "Big, give me a boost."
"Sure!" Big says.
Big then picks up Amy and tosses her in the air as she brings out another hammer. She then strikes at Metal Madness at the side.
Cream turns to Cheese and Chocola, "You know what to do."
Cheese and Chocola land on Cream's hands.
"Go get 'em!" Cream says and throws both the Chaos.
They both fly in the air and make sure to kick at Metal Madness close to the head. Big then throws his fist at Metal Madness with force. Metal Madness lets out a roar after receiving much danger.
Amy calls out, "Alright, we're done on our end. Are you ready?"
Suddenly, Metal says, "It's too late…"
At a different part of the Final Fortress, Team Chaotix are ready to fight against them.
"Come on Chaotix, it's time to date down this overgrown monster!" Vector says.
"Roger!" Espio says.
"Yeah!" Charmy and Saffron says.
"From the looks of it, it appears the transformation isn't quite complete yet," Espio says.
"In that case," Charmy says, and shouts at Metal, "Incomplete freak!"
"Come on guys. Now's the time to strike!" Vector says.
Espio then begins to throw his shurikens at the monster while Charmy and Saffron fly up and try to attack it with their stingers.
"You're all useless now that I've copied all your data," Metal says.
Metal Madness swings his tails, but they dodge in the nick of time. Espio jumps and charges at the knee area of the monster. Vector also has Charmy and Saffron thrown at the weak spot. Metal continues to try attacking them, but the group continues to attack with force. With more attacks striking at him, Metal Madness roars more in rage.
"We got it on the run now," Vector says.
"We still need more time to distract it," Espio says.
Just then, a rocket has been launched at Metal Madness and turns its head to see the one who has launched it is Nic the Weasel.
"Hey you overgrown mechanical varmint, how would you like to handle us for a change," Nic says.
"Chao Chao!" Jazz calls out in anger.
Fiona then brings out her blaster and fires, "How about you get a taste of this?!"
Fiona and Nic continue to fire their weapons at the Metal Madness.
Cosmo and Jazz watch how the attack take place.
"Oh, I wish there's something we can do to help them," Cosmo says, concern.
Jazz soon notices a launcher close by. That gives her an idea. Jazz flies over and dives inside the launcher.
Noticing it, Cosmo asks, "Jazz, what are you doing?
Then the launcher fires Jazz and she comes flying at Metal Madness. Jazz then raises her small fist and manages to strike at it with one of its weak points. Nic and Fiona are amazed to see it. Cosmo soon understands, she decides to launch herself at the robot, and give it a good punch.
Fiona smiles and says, "Nice work Jazz."
"Yeah. You sure are one tough cookie," Nic says.
Jazz flies to the girls and replies with pride, "Chao Chao."
Jazz then flies into the launcher and launches at Metal Madness again.
Nic chuckles, "Seems like Jazz has picked up some of Eve's traits."
"I can tell," Fiona says.
Cosmo giggles and says, "I agree. Jazz seem to gain some of Eve's fighting spirit."
Soon, Fiona and Nic continue to fire their weapons at Metal Madness as hard as they can while Jazz uses her own method of fighting. Soon, the Neo Metal Madness continues to scream in agony once he receives enough damage.
"We're almost done," Nic says.
"I just hope we bought Sonic, Eve, Knuckles and Jazz enough time," Fiona says.
At the last area of the Egg Fortress, it's Team Shadows turn.
Shadow sternly looks at the robot and says, "So you're the one behind all this, huh?"
"And got Maria and the others involved in your plans," Rouge says.
Omega says, "Eliminate Neo Metal Sonic. Having high energy, proven to be a challenge. A challenge that I will enjoy."
"Oh brother. Don't worry, it's our turn to have some fun," Rouge says.
Shadow turns to Maria, "Will you be okay with this?"
"Yes. I uh, I gotta learn to fight too," Maria says.
"Alright then, it's time to teach that robot a lesson," Shadow says.
With that, Team Dark begins with their attack. Shadow then uses Chaos Spear and strikes at the robot.
Then it's Maria's turn, "Chaos Spear!" and throws the Chaos Spear at Metal Madness.
Rouge flies up and shouts, "Screw Kick!"
She then performs her kicks like a drill and strikes at Metal Madness with full force.
"Arsenal activate! Destroy Neo Metal Sonic!" Omega says and fires his blasters, gun and other at his disposal with full force.
Neo says, "Even the Ultimate Life Form can't stop me!"
"If you think about consuming the power of others at your own will… and that's supposed to make you tough? Please, you're just using someone else's abilities to make you stronger," Rouge says.
She then kicks and screw kicks at Metal Madness. Omega continues to fire his blasters at the robotic monster.
Omega continues to fire, "New target acquisition! Sights locked on Metal Sonic!"
Shadow and Maria also use Chaos Spear to strike at Metal Madness. Shadow then jumps and performs a powerful Spin Dash at the chest of the Metal Madness. Team Dark continues to throw their attacks while Metal Madness throws flamethrowers at them. Over time, they are able to cause enough damage.
"Well, it looks like Neo Metal Sonic has taken a lot of damage," Rouge says.
"It's all up to Sonic and Eve now," Shadow says.
Maria says, "I hope they'll be okay.
"Eve has similar abilities to Shadow, and Sonic is also fast and quick. They will be fine," Omega says.
Taking a lot of damage, Metal Madness becomes furious as it flails about and roars. Just then, Metal Madness begins to transform again. His fingers burst off and are replaced with long, slender blades, resembling horns, making him go airborne. Now it's called Metal Overlord. With a flap of his wings, the monstrous robot shoots off into the sky.
Meanwhile, Sonic, Eve, Tails, and Knuckles are together and are ready to fight back against Neo Metal Sonic who is now Metal Overlord. Soon, the Seven Chaos Emerald rises up and rapidly circles around them. Sonic and Eve cross their arms as they close their eyes. And soon, in a blinding flash of gold light, Sonic and Eve have transformed into Super Sonic and Super Eve. Just then, Tails and Knuckles find themselves inside protective shields and levitate upward and join Sonic and Eve's side. Soon, the team zooms into the sky to stop Metal Overlord's plans once and for all.
Soon enough, somewhere in the storm, Sonic, Eve, Tails, and Knuckles soon find Metal Overlord.
The monster robot says, "Long time no see, Sonic, my loathsome copy!"
And with that, Metal begins to throw some kind of attack made of crystal.
"I got this Sonic," Eve says, and brings out her sword.
Eve swings her sword and swings it to break down the crystal attacks coming their way.
"Nice work, sis," Sonic says.
Sonic then flies over, "Now it's my turn!" and then performs a powerful Spin Dash at the monstrous robotic dragon.
Just then, Metal flies inside the clouds and flies back to have grabbed one of the Egg Fleet ships.
He angrily says, "Sonic… I was created for the sole purpose of destroying you. But I can never seem to defeat you!"
And then throws the airship right at them.
"Look out!" Tails cries out.
The four quickly dodge the attack as the aircraft falls and crashes into the ground. Luckily, it hasn't hit any towns or areas close to civilization. With their powers, the four begin to spin dashes all over Metal Overlord with full attacks. Metal Overlord continues to throw Crystal attacks, but Eve uses her sword to deflect the attack. Sonic then spin dashes at the chest area of the robotic monster. Then the three perform a powerful spin dash combination and strike at the robot with full force.
Sonic then says, "Here we come! You all ready?"
"Of course! Tails says.
"We got this, bro," Eve says.
"We're with you until the end!" Knuckle says.
Sonic nods his head.
Then turns to Metal, "Hmph! You actually thought you can defeat us by transforming into a monster?"
"But that was the past. Now you're nothing but a speck of dust to me," Metal says.
Metal throws more crystal and Eve uses her sword to deflect. This time, Metal Overlord continues to throw everyone he has at them as the four dodges the attack. They all perform Spin dashes, strikes, and all forms of attack.
Suddenly, Metal shouts, "Chaos Control!"
And fires. Suddenly, Tails and Eve end up getting caught and are unable to move in midair. Sonic and Knuckles are shocked, but they continue on with the attack. In a matter of seconds, Eve and Tails are able to move again.
"What was…" Tails asks.
"He used time…" Eve says, shocked.
"... and stopped it!" Knuckles adds.
"So, he can use Chaos Control!" Sonic says.
Metal Overlord continues to throw crystal attacks, fireballs, and other kinds of attack. The four continue to dodge and deflect the attacks.
"This guy is very tough," Sonic says.
"Man, he's really tough!" Eve says.
"Is he invincible?" Tails asks.
"Even Metal has to have weaknesses," Eve says.
"It's not over yet! Let's show him what we're made of!" Sonic says.
Just then, Metal says, "See me as I am, no longer afraid of anything! I shall be the ultimate overlord, ruling as the world's most supreme being!"
"We'll see about that Metal," Sonic says.
"Yeah. You may be a strong monster, but you're not enough to take us out," Eve says.
Sonic, Eve, Tails, and Knuckles look at each other with determination.
"Alright everyone, let's finish this," Sonic says.
Just then, all four of them join together and perform a very powerful spin dash that strikes at Metal Overlord so hard that it ends up destroying its power source, and the power of the super form causes the robot to malfunction.
Metal screams, "Guooooo! Why! I had it all!" I am the ultimate overlord, Metal Sonic! I am the real Sonic!"
And soon, Metal Overlord begins to fall out of the sky and crashes on the Egg Fortress.
Seeing Metal defeated, Tails cheers, "Yeah! We did it!"
"Phew, that was real tough, "Knuckles says.
"It sure is," Eve says.
"Too bad it's all over! For you!" Sonic says, turning to where Metal falls.
Soon enough, Sonic, Eve, Tails, and Knuckles land on the Egg Fortress joining the others. By the time they arrive, they see that Metal Overlord has changed back to Neo Metal Sonic. Neo Metal Sonic begins crouching on the ground in helplessness as everyone walks over to him.
Soon, Metal Sonic's body glows and begins to revert back to its original form as it says, "It's no use... but why can't I defeat you?"
"Heh. Because... we're the Freedom Fighters, and that as long as we work together, we can beat anything," Sonic says.
Suddenly, they hear Amy's voice, "Sonic!"
Just then, Amy jumps and gives Sonic a hug.
"Oh Sonic, I was so worried, but you did it," Amy says, happily.
Sonic chuckles, "Was there any doubt." as Amy lets Sonic go.
Then Sonic turns to Metal and says, "Anytime you want a rematch, just let me know. I'll be waiting."
And soon enough, Metal Sonic collapses and shuts down.
Eve turns to the others, "Come on, we better get back to New Mobotropolis."
"Yeah. We need to let everyone know that things are alright now," Fiona says.
"I like to go fishing with Froggy," Big says.
Maria walks over to Eve and asks, "Can we go back now?"
"Sure. Everyone worried about you," Maria says.
"You're right. Galaxina must be worried," Cosmos says.
"Come on, let's go back," Tails says.
Then Knuckles says, "I guess I better head back to the island, knowing that Saffron is alright."
Saffron nods.
"I guess I'm outta here, too," Rouge says.
Then she turns to Shadow, "You and Omega can head back to HQ to notify the tower. In the meantime," And begins to walk away, "I think I'll go hunt for someone else's treasure."
Eve and Maria giggle.
Knuckles shakes his head, "She never gives up, does she?" He then begins to chase after her as Rouge picks up the pace, "Oh no, you don't! Wait!"
And soon, Sonic, Eve, and the Freedom Fighters are starting to head back to New Mobotropolis. Shadow and Omega decide to head back to G.U.N HQ.
Vector turns to his team, "Guess that's it for this case."
"Guess so," Espio says.
"Um aren't you guys forgetting something?" Saffron asks.
"Yeah. What about our money?" Charmy asks.
Vector realizes, "Man, I almost forgot!" He then turns his head to notice Eggman is sneaking away, but the rest spot him.
Vector angrily says, "That SLIME BALL!"
Soon, the Chaotix begins to chase after Eggman. Soon, Omega decides to pick up the Metal Sonic and take it with them.
Time has passed, the Freedom Fighters arrive in the city and decide to get a well earned wrist after this adventure. However, knowing Sonic, Eve, and their friends, their next adventure will soon take place.
