Zero Gravity Riders Episode 1: Mysterious Stones, Robot Rampage

One night, at a mountainous region of the ancient ruins, the Babylon Rogues: Jet the Hawk, Wave the Swallow, and Storm the Albatross are standing in front of a stone keypad which has a chalice that has a Ring made of stone on it. Jet walks towards it and presses the keys. Once he's done, some of the keys glow and go down. Wave and Storm watches from behind, looking a bit scared and anxious as Jet thinks for a moment.

Jet turns to the others and says, "That takes care of that trap."

Wave nods her head.

Storm hits his fists together, "Yup!"

Wave and Storm wait as Jet reaches for the mysterious stone on the chalice. Jet steadily reaches the stone and gently removes it from the chalice.

Jet holds the ring-like stone and says, "I got it!"

Wave looks up at the sky and notices, "Look, a shooting star." She then closes her eyes and puts her hands together.

"Hey, whatcha doing there, Wave?" Storm asks.

"Making a wish," Wave answers, "They say if you make a wish before it disappears, it'll come true."

Storm laughs, "Ahh ha ha, how old are you? Grow up! Right, boss?" But soon notices Jet is making a wish too, "Uh oh…"

Then Storm does the same as the others.

In his thoughts, Jet makes his wish, "...All right, star, give me the power to beat him."

Up in the sky, and one by one, four meteorites fall out of the sky. Suddenly, the horizon glows red from a meteor's impact and the ground shakes. Storm looks up at the sky, scared and starts wishing when the earthquake occurs.

"Whoa!" Storm and Wave yelps.

Just then, the stone keyboard and chalice reach into the ground.

Jet cries out, "No, The trap!"

Then two huge boulders start to fall towards the Babylon Rogues. Suddenly, the stone in Jet's hands starts to glow. The stones suddenly suspend in the air and Jet is starting to float into the air.

"What?!" Jet asks, in shock.

Soon, Wave and Storm begin to float up behind him.

"Looks like my wish came true already," Jet says, and begins laughing, "Haa ha ha ha!"

Soon, the Babylon Rogues begin to fly away from the ruins with this new found power.

Meanwhile, at some large tower, one of the meteors flies through the sky and towards the tower. Inside the tower, a meteorite that seems like a ring-like stone begins to glow and the computers turn on. After a while, the shooting star distorts an energy wave, stops in midair and dops into the ground. It rolls along the ground until it hits the foot of a robot. Just then, the robots activate themselves, destroy the walls, and stomp forward.

Somewhere in the sky, the Battle Bird Armada Fortress is flying about. In his lab, Dr. Fukurokov is working on some of his inventions, when he hears his computers beeping. He looks at the screen that reads 'Ark of Cosmos Energy Signature Detected.' He looks at the computer in shock, and hurries out of his lab.

In the main cockpit of the fortress, the leader of the Armada, Battle Lord Kukku XV. is standing as he looks out the window with his arms behind his back.

Just then, Dr. Fukurokov soon arrives in the room, "Sir!"

"What is it, Doctor?" The Battle Lord asks.

"The Arks of the Cosmos! They've fallen to Mobius at last!" Dr. Fukurokov says.

The Battle Lord smiles and says, "Perfect."

The next day, in a Monopole of the Megalo city, a car is driving in the tube. Inside it are Sonic, Eve, Knuckles, Tails, Jazz, and little Shun the Spider, who has grown a bit since last, around two to three years old. Jazz plays with Shun as Tails drives the car.

They listen to the radio report, "Robots made by the leading security company MeteoTech are no longer responding to commands, and are running amok all over the world. The international security organization GUN has begun to investigate the event. MeteoTech has not issued a formal-"

It's soon revealed that both Sonic and Eve have similar ring-like stones like the one Jet has. The one Sonic is playing around is blue, while the one Eve is holding is red.

Sonic asks, "Are these the meteors that fell last night?"

"Yeah! The sound of the impact woke me from my sleep, and I found them outside," Tails says.

"Yaawn…" Knuckles yawns as he stretches his arms.

"Feeling tired Knuckles?" Eve asks.

"Sort of," Knuckles answers.

Soon Shun reaches Knuckles and gently grabs his dreadlock.

"Uh, remind me why you brought Shun with you?" Knuckles asks.

"Well, it's been a long while since I've spent some time with Shun, and since we're going on a simple trip, I thought it couldn't hurt," Eve says.

Shun hugs Eve and says, "Mama pway.."

"Don't worry Shun, I promise this won't take too long," Eve says.

"Don't worry. This will be a quick trip and then we can have some fun," Sonic says.

Then Tails says, "We'll be at Megalo Station shortly."

Tails continues to drive the car through the tube, and Megalo Station is a few distance away. As the heroes' can goes through the tunnel, a surveillance camera detects the two stones in Sonic and Eve's hand. And then the security alarm goes off.

Knuckles look up, "Hm? Hey!"

Shun soon begins to cry due to the sudden noise.

Eve gently rocks Shun in her arms, "There there sweetie. Don't cry."

Just then, the door behind them closes and robots are soon chasing them. They go ahead but the door in front closes and the robots as well.

Tails quickly turns back and asks, "What should we do, Sonic!?"

Sonic points to an elevator, "That elevator!"

Tails quickly turns the car back and accelerates into the elevator. The impact nearly shakes Knuckles off the vehicle. Soon, the elevator ascends.

"What's up with them?" Knuckles asks.

"Are they the ones from the news?" Tails asks.

"They have to be, but why are they coming after us?" EVe says, concern.

Shun whimpers and still looks scared.

Eve hugs and gently pats him on his back, "It's okay, Shun. Mama's here."

"Watch out!" Sonic says.

Soon, they've reached the 300th floor and the door opens. Waiting for them outside are the robots that begin to charge at them.

Sonic shouts, "Go!"

Tails then accelerates the car and drives past the robots. The robots in the car try to attack, then the group manages to shake them off. By the time that happens, they realize they're going to crash straight through a building.

Sonic calls out, "Brace yourselves!"

Soon, they crash into the wall, and the wall of the station explodes. Soon, Sonic and Eve, holding Shun, begin falling while Tails and Jazz fly and Knuckles glides.

Sonic calls out, "Sonic! Eve! Shun!"

"Chao Chao!" Jazz cries out.

Suddenly, blue energy is being emitted from Sonic's position, while red energy is from Eve's position. The three, while flying, turn to look at the two hedgehogs, who are floating with the fallen debris from the wall.

"What's going on?" Sonic asks, surprised.

"Are we floating?" Eve asks.

Just then, Sonic and Eve notices that the stones they're holding are glowing.

Sonic looks at his stone and asks, "Is this the stone's power?"

"This is amazing!" Eve says, holding hers.

Shun reaches out, "Glow stone glow."

Sonic chuckles, "Heheh! Looks like we're going to have fun with this." And begins to free fall towards the station, "YAHOOOOOOOOOO!"

Eve turns to Shun, "Alright Shun, looks like this trip is going to be more fun than planned. Hang on."

With that, Eve begins to free fall like Sonic towards the station. Little Shun begins laughing with a smile on his face. And soon enough, Sonic and Eve reach solid ground down in the streets of Megalo City.

"Okay, that was awesome," Sonic says.

"It's so unexpected, but those stones really saved us," Eve says.

She looks down to see Shun having the stone and looks at it with interest.

Suddenly, they hear Tails' voice, "Sonic! Eve! Shun!"

Sonic and Eve look up to see Tails, Knuckles and Jazz as they land on the ground.

"Are you guys, alright?" Tails asks.

"We're okay. Luckily we have the stones' powers on our side," Sonic says.

"Lucky is right. You guys could have gotten killed," Knuckles.

"Chao Chao," Jazz says, flying to Eve.

Then hugs Eve and Shun in relief.

"It's okay Jazz. None of us got hurt," Eve says.

Jazz then gently rubs Shun on his head, making him giggle with a smile on his face.

"Still, what's up with those robots? Why did they attack us?" Knuckles asks

"That's what I want to know," Eve says.

"I'm starting to think that those robots are the same ones that'd been going on since the new," Sonic says.

"I think they are. We need to get to Megalo Station before those robots come back," Tails says.

Knuckles looks from his left and says, "I think we're a little late for that."

Sonic, Eve, and the others turn their heads to see the MeteoTech Robots are heading towards them.

"Quick everyone! Get on your Extreme Gears!" Sonic says.

He runs ahead as he tosses his Extreme Gear, hops on, and rides away.

"Let's get out of here!" Eve says, and does the same.

Jazz then grabs Eve's shoulder while Eve holds Shun in her right arm.

"Hang on guys," Eve says.

And with that, Eve rides her Extreme Gear, holding on to Shun and Jazz as she follows Sonic. Knuckles and Tails do the same and ride on their Extreme Gears as the MeteoTech Robots begin to chase after them. The group continues to ride on their Extreme Gears on the streets of Megalo City as the MeteoTech Robot chases after them. Jazz turns her head to see the robots are tailing them.

Jazz cries out, "Chao Chao! Chao Chao Chao! Chao Chao Chao!"

Eve turns her head back to see the robots.

"They're after us!" Eve cries out.

"We gotta lose those robots somehow!" Tails says.

"Follow me guys," Sonic says.

He then begins to use the power of the Stone that is now around his wrist. And Soon, the group accelerates the speed and gravity making them fly super fast on their Extreme Gears. Eve then does the same, and helps knock the robots off their course.

"Wow. That is amazing!" Tails says.

"These stones are amazing," Eve says, looking at the stone on her wrist

Shun reaches for the Stone, "Stone."

"Sorry Shun, but it's best for me to hang on to it," Eve says.

Knuckles turns his head back, "At least it got rid of the robots."

"Yeah. But we should find a place to hide until they stop chasing us," Eve says.

Then Tails says, "I know a place. Follow me."

And with that, Tails lead the group to a place to hide to lose their attackers.

Meanwhile, at the Babylon Rogues' shop, Wave is working on her computers while Jet looks at the stone. In the light, the stone Jet has is green. Wave search and search for any details about the stone they found.

Finally, Wave has an answer, "I've figured it out, Jet." and turns to Jet, who is sitting on his chair listening to Wave as he plays with the stone.

"Yeah? Whatcha got?" Jet asks.

"As I'd suspected, the Ark of the Cosmos is an engine unit for the Babylon Garden, invented by our ancestors," Wave says.

"An engine part...?" Jet says, confused.

"Not just any part," Wave says.

Then explains, "I'll need to analyze it further, but I think this stone's magnetic field is able to transmute a planet's mass energy, and create a singularity to…"

Jet gets bored and angry.

And shouts, "Yaaawn, can the boring speech! What can this thing do for me?"

"To put it simply, the stone can temporarily charge up gravity, then convert it to power Babylon Garden's warp drive," Wave explains.

"Sounds promising…" Jet says and looks at the stone, "So, that power was gravity, huh?"

Then Wave says, "One more thing. The Babylonian scrolls say there are seven Arks of the Cosmos." and the computer shows the seven Arks of the Cosmos. And two of them look exactly like the one Sonic and Eve have.

Wave continues, "One serves as the master unit, while the other six attract each other and serve under it."

"Okay... So if they attract each other, you should be able to make some kind of Ark-finding radar. Get on it," Jet says.

"Understood," Wave says.

Just then, Storm rushes into Jet's office, "B-Boss!"

"Keep it down! And what do you want?" Jet demands.

Storm then shows them a holographic piece of the news, "T-take a look at this!"

Jet watches the news to see a robot is inside a type of building, and takes something from it. And rolls off.

The reporter says, "Once again, that was the scene from the Megalo City Museum this morning, when a MeteoTech security robot stole a meteorite on display. The robot is at large, and is suspected to still be in the city area!"

Soon, the reports show an image of what's been stolen from the museum. And it's the same stone, the Ark of the Cosmos.

Jet recognizes it, "That's an Ark of the Cosmos!"

Then Jet says to storm, "Storm, set a course for Megalo Station at full throttle!"

"Roger that, boss!" Storm says, and rushes off right away.

"Heh, these things really do attract one another…" Jet says.

And with that, the Babylon Rogues begin to make their way to Megalo Station. Unaware that the Battle Armada Fortress is secret, following them from distances behind. And it seems that they're after the stone too.
