Zero Gravity Riders Episode 3: Babylon Rogues and Battle Bird Armada Reunion Part 2

While trying to catch up to Sonic and Eve, and their group, the Babylon Rogues end up getting stopped by the Battle Bird Armada, and Speedy is taking charge of the assault.

Speedy demands, "Alright, Jet. If you hand the Ark of the Cosmo and come quietly, the Battle Lord may forgive you for skipping out on the Armada."

"I guess your dad's in a generous mood. It looks like he even let you have some new 'Big boy' pants," Jet says in a mocking tone.

"Oh, my flight harness?" Speedy says, and shows his harness on him, "Yeah, just try and outrun me, Jet. you'll get nowhere on that outdated Extreme Gear."

"Yes, I'm sure our boards are no match for your 'Extreme Undies,' Wave says.

Storm laughs, "Haw! You said 'undies'!" and laughs. "...undies!"

Speedy then points to the soldiers, "Between me and Dr. Fukurokov's new pursuit drones, you have no chance of escape. So come along- peaceful…eeee!" and knocked down when the Rogues speed away on their Extreme Gears

"No-can-do, Junior. We're finding the Arks of the Cosmos and getting to Babylon Gardens!" Jet says.

Soon, the Babylon Rogues fly away on their Extreme Gears.

Seeing them escaping, Speedy shouts, "Don't just stand there! Pursue! All units, fire on the Rogues!"

Soon, the fleet is in pursuit of the Rogues, and firing their blaster at them.

"The Usual Armada standard of marksmanship," Jet says.

The fleet continues to fire at the Rogues, but they're faster. Even Seedy is catching up with the rogues.

Soon, Speedy hears his father on the comlink, "Speedy!"

"Yes father?" Speedy answers.

"They must not escape with the stone," The Battle Lord says. "We must uncover the Secret of Babylon Garden and use them to further our Empire. This is a pivotal moment, my son. Do not fail me."

"Understood father," Speedy answers, and continues pursuit..

Meanwhile, in the Battle Ship, The Battle Lord and Dr. Fukurokov is watching the event on the monitor.

The doctor says, "You needn't worry, my lord. My magnificent pursuit drones will make short work of the Rogues."

"Like the freak fox made short work of your magnificent mole mech?" The Battle Lord points out. "Finding the Garden is too vital to rely on your wind-up toys, dear doctor."

Then he commands, "Helmsman, plot a course to intercept the Rogues."

"Aye aye, sir," The soldier says.

Back to the chase, Speedy and the Drones are still chasing the Rogues and appear to be catching up.

Speedy shouts, "Rogues! This is your last chance! Give us the Ark of the Cosmos and return to the Armada or be destroyed!"

"Face it, shellshorts! You can't touch us! You ain't got the speed-" Jet calls out.

Wave dodges, "Or the skills-"

"Or the guts!" Storm adds.

Speedy grows irritated, "You arrogant…! I gave you a chance to come peacefully."

Then Speedy shouts, "Now you'll come in pieces! DESTROY THEM!"

Soon the drones fire at the Rogues. One also almost hit Jet's head feathers, "Whoa!"

"Those drones are bringing the heat!" Jet says.

"Better cool 'em down!" Storm says and gathers some snow.

Then Storm throws the snowball and splatters the drone, "Heh. Pitching is fun."

He then grabs the trunk of the pine tree and pulls it out, "But I like batting best!" Then Storm swings at the Drones, destroying them.

And the plan to see that the Battle Lord and Doctor see it. The Doctor sheepishly smiles as the Battle Lord stares at him.

Back to the pursuit, Wave dodges one of the drone's attacks.

She says to herself as she stares at the drone, "Hmmm… simple construction… polymers… central connection…"

When the Drone comes close, Wave jumps over, performing a flip, and removes a part.

Then lands on her board as she says, "That should do it."

That makes the Drone break apart.

Soon, Speedy is chasing after Jet.

"JET! Give me the stone!" Jet says.

"Which stone? A meteor? A gemstone? Didn't take you for a geologist," Jet says in a mocking tone.

Speedy grits his teeth in anger, "YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN!"

"Look kid. It's like I said before…. You've got some grit… but you're…" Jet says.

But unknown to Jet, Speedy brings out a secret wrist blaster, "Out of your league? Get over yourself!" and fires it at Jet, grazing his arm.

Jet scrams, "ARGGH! MY ARM!"

"Whaddaya say now, 'Legendary Wind Master'? Speedy questions in remark. "'Legendary windbag' is more like it!" And punches Jet in the face.

Speedy continues to throw punches as he says, "To think I respected you! I wanted to be you! I thought you had it all, but look at you now!" and punches him off his board.

Then points his blaster at Jet, "You've got nothing."

"I've got one thing you don't," Jet says with a smirk. "Backup."

Soon, Wave comes in and kicks Speedy and smacks him with her board as she flies, "You made a mistake, taking on the Babylon Rogues."

Then Storm grabs Speedy by his bandana, "Your last mistake."

"Go ahead…" Speedy says. He then points up, "It's better than facing him.

The Rogues look up to see the Armada ship right above them. Soon, someone comes down and slams the ground, knocking everyone off the top area of the mountain. That someone is the Battle Lord, Speedy's father.

The Battle Lord says, "Wake up, son. It's time for school."

Jet regains himself and shouts, "You're the one who needs a lesson, old man! Rogues, take him out!"

"On it, boss!" Jet says.

He flies to the Battle Lord to punch him, but the Battle Lord grabs Storm with ease and slams him into the ground. Then Wave tries to fight back, but the Battle Lord knocks and knocks Wave down. Jet then tries to speed towards the Battle Lord and about to use the stone to activate the Ark's power. However, the Battle lifts his hand up to reveal an Ark of the Cosmos in his possession that has a purple rim around it. And uses the stone to stop Jet in his tracks.

"Class dismissed!" The Battle Lord declares.

Speedy is shocked to see the stone he has matches to the one Jet has, "The stone!"

"Yes, the ancient heirloom of the Battle Kukku line. Passed down from father to worthy son for more than 500 years, though its antiquity stretches back much further than that," The Battle lord says. Then presents the stone to Jet, "Despite his many flaws, it was our Dr. Fukurokov who discovered this marvelous attribute of the stone. What you've already known, Jet, is that you're experiencing a compressed gravity field. Though extremely useful, its effects are limited. It should be wearing off about…" Soon the effects wear off, "Now." And grabs Jet by his throat.

He then turns to the other Rogues who regain consciousness, "You two keep back unless you want to see your friend snapped like a wishbone. Because you hold such potential- I'll allow you rogues one chance to accept your rightful place among my flock. Or face the alternative, "And pushes pressure around Jet's.

With no other choice, Storm and Wave are forced to back down.

"Ah! An excellent choice," The Battle Lord says and places Jet on the ground.

Jet coughs as he rubs his neck.

Speedy is shocked and angrily to hear this, "What?! Dad! You can't take them back! They'll just double cross you again!"

"Nonsense, my boy. A Battlebird's squawk is his bond," The Battle Lord says.

Speedy continues, "He abandoned me - THE ARMADA! And he tried to make FOOLS out of us!"

But the Battle Lord sternly says, "ENOUGH!"

Speedy backs down and grumbles, "Yes, father."

"Now then," The Battle Lord says and turns to the Rogues, "Since you three will be joining us again, I like to give you three your first assignment."

"First assignment?" Jet questions.

"Yes. In fact, you've already started to follow that order before you realize it. I need you three to retrieve the Arks of the Cosmos those hedgehogs have," The Battle Lord says.

The Babylon Rogues are shocked to hear this.

"How… how did you know?" Jet asks.

"Quite simply, we were able to get the readings on the stones' location and tracked them here. And luckily you already obtain one, and the hedgehogs have three, and I also have one," The Battle Lord days.

"So what do you want us to do?" Jet asks.

"Well, I need you to see them and see if you can find a way to get the stones from them. Last I heard, you seem to be acquainted with them, especially the hedgehogs," The Battle Lord says.

Then turns to the Rogues, "I assume you know exactly where they're going."

Jet sighs, "They're going to MeteoTech because of the robot rampage they've been dealing with. In fact, we almost got another Ark of the Cosmos, but that pink hedgehog got to it first. And that's when we learn Sonic and Eve have it as well."

"Well then, I suggest you get going," the Battle Lord says, and points ahead, "After all, we're not much farther from MeteoTech company."

"Huh?" The Rogues are confused.

The Babylon Rogues see that a little distance away, they see a company for MeteoTech, and a factory a further ahead, it's actually not far.

"Huh, didn't expect to get here this fast," Wave says.

And soon enough, they see the five figures riding their Extreme Gears and heading towards the Factory.

"Looks like that's your cue, so it's best you make your way to the company before they do. And I'll let you hang onto the meteorite. Never knew when it comes in handy," The Battle says.

Jet sighs, "Yes sir."

Then turns to Wave and Storm, "Come on guys, we need to get to MeteoTech before they do."

"Uh roger," Storm says.

"Yeah," Wave replies.

The three then gather their Extreme Gears and leave the scene to get to MeteoTech before the Freedom Fighters do. The Battle Lord and Speedy watch as the Babylon Rogues ride to MeteoTech to carry out the Armada's orders.

"Father, are you sure it's wise to let them go on their way?" Speedy asks.

"I'm positive Speed. They'll know what happens if they don't comply. I've already had a special drone to secretly follow them, so we'll know when they dare to double cross us," The Battle Lord says.

Speedy then turns to his father, "If I didn't know better, I say you planned for us to arrive near MeteoTech once you know where the hedgehogs and the twin-tailed freak are heading."

"Well my boy, I have to be sure we don't lose those Freedom Fighters trains and we know very well where they're heading," The Battle Lord says.

He then walks away, "Now it's best we be on our way as we watch the Babylon Rogues to recover the Arks of the Cosmos, and then we'll be able to find Babylon Gardens and reclaim what is ours."

"Yes father," Speedy says.

The Armada then commands the soldiers to move out and the soldiers listen and carry out his orders. Speedy follows his father as well and turns his head to see the Babylon Rogues are making their way to the company. He then glares at their direction and turns his head to follow his father to the airship and make sure to keep his eye out on the Rogues in case they decide to turn their backs on them.

Meanwhile, the Babylon Rogues continue to ride the rest of the way to reach the MeteoTech company.

At another side of MeteoTech, Sonic, Eve, and the others are closing in on the company and are determined to get answers from there.
