Zero Gravity Riders Episode 4: The Egg MeteoTech

Soon enough, in front of the MeteoTech Company, Sonic, Eve and company arrive and hope to get any clues of the mysterious stones and the robot rampage. They are now standing in front of the entrance to the company.

"So this is MeteoTech HQ," Eve says.

"Yeah. I think we can get inside through here," Sonic says and walks to the front door.

Soon, the door opens and the group of friends begin walking inside. Unknown to them, the Babylon Rogues have already arrived at the company to see them enter inside. Jet turns to his crew and nods his head. Wave and Storm nod their heads as well. Soon, the Rogues begin following the Freedom Fighters inside the company.

A little further into the MeteorTech premises, the Robots are everywhere on the assembly line. Sonic, ve, Tails, Jazz, Knuckles, and Amy are hiding behind a big door.

"Looks like we'll need to watch our step," Sonic says.

"Right. We don't want the robots to know we're here," Eve says.

"Aba," Shun says.

Eve softly shushes Shun. Shun copies Eve as he covers his mouth. Amy tries to get a closer look as the surveillance cameras detect the Babylon Rogues behind the Freedom Fighters.

Knuckles pulls Amy back, "Dang!"

Soon the SCR-GP robots start to rush towards Sonic, Eve and the others.

"Look out!" Sonic calls out as he and Knuckles get everyone else out of the way and ready to fight.

But the robots zoom past them like they aren't there.

"What?" Sonic questions and turns around to see the robots stop in front of the Babylon Rogues. "That's...!"

Jet soon performs the Gravity control and the Rogues swoops in to destroy the robots.

Then Jet lands in front of Sonic, Eve and their friends, "It's been a while, Sonic the Hedgehog. It's a pleasure to see you too, Eve the Hedgehog."

"Jet!" Eve says, surprised.

Wave and Storm land behind Jet.

"Long time no see, shorty," Wave says to Tails.

Tails is surprised to see, "Wave!"

"We're here to settle the score from last time!" Storm says, ready to fight.

"Any time, Babylon Rogues," Knuckles says, raising his fist.

"Cut it out, Storm!" Jet says.

Then turns to Amy and demands, "Alright, girly, hand over the Ark of the Cosmos!"

"What are you talking about?" Amy asks.

But Jet says, "Don't play dumb! Not after swiping the Ark of the Cosmos right out of our hands!"

"Hold on, Jet. There's no need to yell at Amy like that," Eve says.

"Yeah. Girls hate guys who rush them, Jet," Sonic says.

"Rush?" Jet questions.

Then points to Sonic, "Heh, I'm the fastest thing living in the universe! And today, I'm going to prove it!"

Just then, a security alarm goes off and several robots begin to come towards them.

Tails turns to Sonic, "Sonic, we can't stay here!"

"Looks like we'll have to do the reunion later. See ya, Jet!" Sonic says, and runs off.

"Bye Jet! Sorry to chat and run!" Eve says, and follows Sonic.

Jet follows the two hedgehogs as well, "H-hey! Wait!"

Sonic, Eve, Jet, and the others run down the path ahead. Amy tries to join the others, but Storm blocks her way.

"Oops, can't let you pass until you hand over that stone, little lady," Storm says, blocking Amy's way.

Amy angrily says, "Hey, out of the way, buddy! I'll lose sight of Sonic!" as she pulls her Piko Piko Hammer and hits Storm.

Amy then runs away to find Sonic, Eve, and the others.

Storm staggers behind her, "W-waaait!"

Up ahead, Sonic, Eve, and the others are riding their Extreme gears down the factory. Soon, they notice some of the MeteoTech Robots heading right towards them.

"Look out!" Sonic calls out, and uses the stone to use an energy burst to repel the robots.

Eve soon does the same when another group of robots get too close. Jet becomes very surprised to see Sonic and Eve not only have the Arks of the Cosmos, but also know how the stones work.

"You both can use that power, too!?" Jet asks, surprised.

"Pretty handy, really," Sonic replies.

He then uses the burst of gravity to repel the robots.

"And it really came in handy to deal with these robots," Eve says.

And uses the same burst of gravity to repel more of the robots.

"Looks like you two got the hang of the powers," Jet says.

Then turns to Eve to see little Shun, "So this is Shun. You weren't kidding when you said you adopted a little spider."

"Yeah, but he's really sweet," Eve says.

However, Jet notices Eve's arm and dreadlock, "What happened to your arm?"

Eve looks at her cybernetic arm, "Would you like the long story or short?"

"Make it short," Jet says.

"Well, I have to reverse the effect on a World Roboticizer so no one will get turned into robots, but I got partly roboticized when it happened," Eve says.

"And…?" Jet questions.

"And if I didn't, Eggman would have roboticized all of Mobius and everyone would have been turned to robots," Eve says.

Jet groans in frustration, "Not him again."

"That's right, but let's focus on what's happening now," Sonic says.

In the computer room, Eggman is trying to gain access to the system

"Engage EM algorithm, maximum value. Access mother computer. Mother computer access denied," the mother computer says when Eggman tries.

Eggman is frustrated, "Why!?" suddenly,he hears a crashing sound, "Hmm?"

He then stands up and walks towards the door, "What's this racket, and now of all times!"

Suddenly, the door opens and becomes confused to see Sonic, Eve, and Jet coming through and hit Eggman with their Extreme gear, sending him backward into his computer keyboard.

"What went flying just now?" Knuckles says as he and the others arrive.

Eggman soon gets up and sits on his chair, "Do I look like a ball to you?!"

Everyone is shocked to see Eggman.

"Eggman?! What are you doing here?!" Sonic asks in shock.

"What do you mean? I own this company!" Eggman says and laughs, "Ahh ha ha ha ha!"

"What!?" Eve asks, shocked.

Then Sonic confronts him, "So you're the ringleader behind this one too, Eggman?"

"Ringleader? What the devil are you babbling about?" Eggman asks.

"Come on, cut the act," Sonic says, "I'm talking about the global robot rampage!"

"You must be joking. That's been quite a headache for me as well," Eggman says.

Knuckles raises his fist, "Like we'll believe anything you say!"

"Calm down. We go way back, don't we? I'll let you in on something," Eggman says.

Then explains, "Not even I know why are they've gone amok, but they appear to be following a leader."

"A leader?!" Eve says, confused.

Then Sonic says, "Well, I guess for now we'll buy that Eggman isn't involved."

Tails thinks for a minute and says, "So maybe that has nothing to do with the robots that attacked us…"

Sonic and Eve hold out the Arks of the Cosmos on their wrists.

Eggman is shocked to see them, "Wh-Where did you get that?!"

"Wait, you saw these before?" Eve asks.

Then Sonic says, "So you were holding out on us, Eggman!"

Knuckles cracks his knuckles and threatens Eggman, "Spill everything you know. Now!

Eggman then turns to his computer and begins working on it, "Very well. I'll tell you…"

He then explains, "All robot activities within my facility is normally controlled by the mother computer. As the core of MeteoTech network, it was supposed to be the perfect computer. But as of a few days ago, I've been unable to control it remotely. The power unit within the mother computer is a stone identical to the one you're holding. According to my analysis... That stone can convert huge amounts of mass energy into other forms of energy, and exudes a unique magnetic field…"

"Huh?" Knuckles says, confused.

"Shut up and listen!" Eggman says.

He continues, "In any case, it appears that somehow the robots' leader also contains a stone with similar powers to the one in the mother computer."

"What!?" Sonic asks, shocked.

Eggman continues as a map is shown on the screen, "If my deductions are correct, the robots' leader is using the world's robots in an attempt to collect these strange stones from around the globe."

"But why do they need the stones?" Sonic asks.

"That even I don't know," Eggman answers.

Just then, Jet says, "...They're drawn to one another."

"What?" Eggman asks.

"These aren't just some rocks. They're spoken of in Babylon clan legend as…" Jet says, but soon realizes, "Ah! That's right!" and turns around, "Girl, give me back the Ark of the Cosmos!"

However, when everyone looks around, they realize that two people in their group are missing.

"Amy's gone!" Tails says, surprised.

Wave looks around, "Storm's not here either!"

"Where did they go?" Eve asks.

Suddenly, the computer starts beeping.

Eggman turns to his computer, "Sounds like we've got a fix on the robot leader's location." He then works on the computer, "Satellite monitor on!"

Soon, the computer shows three dots, a red, gray, and magenta point. It's revealed the red point is the SCR-HD. The gray point is Storm. And the magenta point is…

Sonic, Eve, Tails, & Knuckles in shock, "Amy!"

"Chao!" Jazz cries out.

"They must be after the stone that Amy has," Knuckles says.

"We gotta go find her. She can be in danger," Tails says.

Eve turns to Eggman, "Where are they now?"

"They're somewhere in Aquatic Capital which is not that far from here," Eggman says.

"Come on gang, we gotta find Amy," Sonic says.

"With that, Sonic, Eve, and the others race out of the factory in their Extreme Gears and try to get to Amy before the leader Robot can get to her first.

Soon, Jet and Wave leave the factory as well.

"Jet, do you think Storm will be fine?" Wave asks.

"I'm sure he will. He's a tough guy. As of now, we now know that Eggman has placed one of the Ark of the Cosmo into the mother computer," Jet says.

"Hmm, I wonder if the Ark of the Cosmos might be the reason the robots are rampaging," Wave says.

"It's possible. But right now, as much as I hate this, we'll have to report this to the Battle Lord and explain what's going on," Jet says.

"Yeah. I don't like this either, but we don't have any other choice," Wave says.

Then asks, "But what about the stones that Sonic and Eve have?"

"We just need to make sure we get the Ark of the Cosmos from them, and hope we can do it before the Battle Lord makes his appearance to them," Jet says.

Soon, the two Rogues head back to their blimp to figure out another plan.

Somewhere in Aquatic Capital, Amy is running from Storm.

Exhausted, Storm calls out, "Wheeze... Hold up!"

Despite being exhausted, Amy continues to run, "Ugh, do you ever give up?!"

Fed up with this, Amy comes to a stop and turns to Storm, "Fine, if you want it that bad, I'll give it to you!"

Amy then throws the Ark of the Cosmos right into Storm's face, causing him to fall to the ground unconscious.

Amy soon looks around and wonders, "Where the heck am I?"

Storm soon wakes up to find Amy looking at him angrily.

Amy shouts in anger, "Thanks to you, I got separated from Sonic, you big jerk!"

"Uh... Um…" Storm nervously says.

Amy pulls Storm back on his feet and says, "So you're going to find the way out. Am I clear?"

"C-crystal clear, ma'am, sir!" Storm says.

Soon, Amy and Storm begin walking down the path together. A little bit later, Amy and Storm have gone further down the road, until they hear a noise.

"What's that noise?" Amy asks.

Suddenly, the SCR-HD comes flying towards them. It stops in front of Amy and Storm as it scans them. When it discovers the Ark of the Cosmos, it suddenly explodes and falls to the ground. Amy and Storm are left confused to see it exploding and falling all of the sudden. The two then walks towards the robot to see if it's really out of order

Just then, Storm notices gray Arks of the Cosmos in the robots' back, "It's the same! This is just like the stone we found at the Gigan Rocks!" and quickly takes the stone out.

"The Giga-what?" Amy says, confused.

"And now this makes two of them! I gotta get back and tell Jet!" Storm says and runs off with the two Arks of the Cosmos in his possession.

"H-Hey! Wait!" Amy calls out, but Storm ignores her and takes off running.

Amy stomps her feet in anger.

Soon after Storm is gone, Sonic, Eve, Tails, Knuckles, and Jazz show up.

Sonic calls out, "Amy!"

Amy, who is standing in front of the broken robot, turns to see Sonic, "It took you long enough!" and begins beating Sonic.

"Amy, are you alright?" Eve asks.

Amy stops beating Sonic and answers, "I'm alright, just got a little startled for a minute there."

Tails goes to the robot and asks, "What happened here?"

"Don't ask me! First it comes flying at me full tilt, then it just blows up," Amy asks.

"What?!" Eve asks, shocked.

"It blew up?!" Sonic asks, walking towards the robot.

Tails gasps in shock, "Wait, does that mean...?!"

"What is it, Tails?" Sonic asks.

But Tails says, "Sorry... I need to think it through a little more first."

Knuckles walks to Amy cracking his knuckles, "Hey, where's that meathead, Storm?"

"He grabbed something out of this robot and high-tailed it out of here," Amy says.

Everyone looks in the robot to see a broken part. The group waits for a moment.

Then Knuckles asks, "So does this mean the rampaging robots will all cool it?"

"I don't think it's that simple," Tails answers, "If Eggman started all this by putting that stone in his mother computer, I don't think it'll stop until we remove it."

"So where is that?" Knuckles questions.

The group starts to think.

"Hmm, I have a feeling that Jet, Wave, and Storm seem to know something about those stones," Eve says.

"Ba aba," Shun replies and lets out a yawn.

Just then, Amy gasps and says, "Wait, I remember Storm saying something weird about the thing he took from that robot matching something they found someplace else. Well.. Ohh, where was it he said? Gi... Giga... Something like that. Wait, Gigan…"

Knuckles soon has the answer, "The Gigan Rocks."

"Right! What you said!" Amy says.

Sonic turns to Knuckles, "You know it, Knuckles?"

"It's a pretty famous ruin among us treasure hunters. A legend about shooting stars tells of some star shard sealed there that can grant your wishes," Knuckles says.

"Shooting stars!" Tails says, amazed.

Then turns to Sonic. "Sonic, let's head to the Gigan Rocks right away! We might find a clue about these stones!"

"Leave the directions to me!" Knuckles says, "But they say the star shard is in a sacred chalice deep in the ruins, and getting there ain't easy. Nobody's made it back alive yet. We'll be risking our necks."

"Yeah! Don't worry! That's nothing new," Sonic says.

"Believe me, it's not new to all of us," Eve says.

Amy looks at Shun, "Eve are you sure Shun and Jazz will be okay. Going to the rocks might be dangerous for them."

"I know, but we don't really have a choice," Eve says.

"You're right, but remember to be careful. Sun is only a little," Amy says.

"I know," Eve says.

Then Sonic says, "Come on, let's go to the Gigan Rocks."

"I just hope we can find more clues over there," Eve says.

Soon, the group take off on their Extreme Gears and head towards the Gigan Rocks. As they leave the scene, the SCR-HD suddenly reactivates as its robotic eye flashes a red light.
