~Previously on Naruto~

"Ah, I bet you love to get your hands on our earth scroll. It would look so nice with your heaven scroll." she grinned.

…

"I've got to hurry, whoever is fighting that snake is not going to survive." she muttered increasing speed.

…

"Five Pronged Seal!"

"Naruto!" Peri cried, leaping in the air and caught the unconscious blonde.

"Fire Style: Phoenix Flower Jutsu!" Peri spat a volley of small fireballs at the lady.

…

"Sasuke! What did you do?! Who are you?!" she demanded.

"My name is Orochimaru. I just gave him a little parting gift." the black haired man grinned.

-Forest of Death: Forest Tower-

(We manage to get here alive, without making Gaara mad and killing us.) Kankuro shuddered at his close encounter with his younger brother.

The three of them, mainly Kankuro and Temari, were on the edge the whole time due their younger brother's insatiable lust for blood.

All because of the beast that controlled him from inside of him.

Before they came to the Hidden Leaf Village their father ordered them to keep a sharp eye on Gaara so he wouldn't get out of hand and lose control while they were. But that was like asking to control a hungry bear and trying to stop it from getting a meal. The first person to greet them was Iruka, it was his job to mark down all of the genin who made it and passed the test.

"Congratulations. We really went all out for this test and you passed without breaking a sweat, I can see you all have been trained very well." Iruka smiled.

"Sasuke..Uchiha…is he here yet?" Gaara finally spoke.

(It;s only been a day and they already completed the Forest of Death, they're on a whole different level. But…..That redhead kid…he's has the thirst for blood I've never seen before.) Iruka thought.

"Um… Not yet, however he's on his way right now. Anyway, if you go down this hall is where the guest rooms for the Hidden Sand will be" he replied.

The redhead just walked past him with his older siblings close behind without saying a word

(Naruto. Sasuke. Peri. Ino. Shino. Hinata. Sakura. Kiba. Choji. Shikamaru. I know you all are genin, but to me you're still my students. Please be safe.)

-Two Days Later: Forest of Death: Team Seven-

Nebki, the chibi size chimera-tanuki summoning ran to a large tree stump with his chibi size tiger's legs with a wet rag in his mouth and his white mang blowing in the wind. He let out a small bark letting her know of his presence. "Thanks buddy." Peri smiled, rubbing his head.

Nebki purred against her palm wagging his white-snake like tail and his yellow eyes glowed happily at her.

Peri placed a towel in a bucket of cool water while placing her hand against her teammate's forehead then placed a wet towel on his forehead. "Luckily, Naruto isn't too bad, he's just unconscious. But Sasuke…what the heck did Orochimaru do to him?" she said before turning his attention to her other teammate to check on him. Ever since the battle Peri has been doing her best to stay hidden. She used the clone jutsu to make decoys of themselves in two previous campsites to make sure nobody found them.

Turning away, Peri grabs another wet towel replacing it with the old one. It just was getting worse. First Naruto and Sasuke lost consciousness, then they lost their food and first aid supplies, and they were cold, wet, and hungry.

"Nebki, I don't know what we're gonna to do. If we stay in this forest Orochimaru can attack us again and to make things worse, we lost our scrolls." she said. The chibi tanuki patted up to her and pawed her hand trying to comfort her

"Yeah, you're right buddy, it's no good beating myself up. Maybe things will get better when Naruto and Sasuke wake up." Peri smiled and went to reapply another wet towel to Sasuke's forehead.

Flashback

Sasuke grabbed his neck in pain. "What is it? What's wrong?" Peri asked, what was going on here?

To her horror, the Uchiha' collapsed, his eyes rolled to the back of his head. She managed to catch him before he fell. "Sasuke! What did you do?! Who are you?!" she demanded.

"My name is Orochimaru. I just gave him a little parting gift." the black haired man grinned.

Unfortunately for her, things were going to get worse. Hidden in the far distance three sound shinobi were spying on the injured team. "We finally found them. What made it was to track them down." a girl said massaging her shoulders.

Flashback

"So you want us to capture Sasuke Uchiha?" Kin asked

"Yes, Lord Orochimaru has already met the Uchiha in the forest of death, however he escaped with his teammates, but they couldn't go far and are probably just lying low." a man explained

The cloaked man's face couldn't be seen, but it was clear that was a servant of Orochimaru. He held out three cards and gave them to the sound ninjas. "According to the research we gained on the ten rookies it's whatever you do not do anything to the Senju. We don't need anything to go wrong here."

"Why, She's weak! Honestly, is this what's left of the powerful Senju Clan? What a disappointment." Zaku laughed

"For once I agree with Zaku. We should just kill her with the blonde kid and get the Uchiha." Kin agreed.

However the cloaked stranger shook his head. "No, anything that happens to her will alert our presence more. The village will not tolerate anything happening to her furthermore, our superior is not pleased about how Orochimaru created such a big scene. The Hokage is already sending the Anbu to escort the participants to the tower so this needs to be done quickly." he ordered.

And with that order that stranger left.

End of Flashback

"They're all down, we should just kill them." Zaku said.

"Fool, have you forgotten our orders?" Dosus snapped.

"No, but it's stupid. The girl's not a threat and the real problem we're gonna have is if Sasuke wakes up or if Anbu gets here. We're wasting time doing things like this!" he snapped.

Kin rolled her eyes and sighed. "Look, it can't be helped. We need our allies' help for this operation."

"It's been two days since Lord Orochimaru ran in to them. Come on you two, we can't afford to lose track of them again." Dosu said, leading his team through the trees.

-Forest of Death: Team Ten-

"Wow you're the great Neji! From the Hyuga can right? Well..I was hoping maybe you like to talk? After all of this maybe we can hang out~" Ino giggled, twirling her platinum blonde hair.

"Get lost before I fight you." Neji interpreted her.

"Leave them alone Neji, they're not worth it. Tenten sighed .

"Well that was stupid, Don't you know you're not pretty enough to get a man.." Sakura sneered

"Shut up Billboard Brow, like you can get a man!" Ino snapped as the two fangirls glared at each other.

"Be quite Ino-Pig!"

"Billboard Brow!"

"Ino-Pig!

"Both of you shut up, don't you feel that dark chakra?" Tenten stated.

And the brunette was right. The group of genin stayed still as they felt a cold chill rushed through their bones.

It felt like there was a predator creeping up on them, the Hyguya had felt it earlier, but it dimmed down a couple hours ago. The rookies also sensed that dark chakra, which was why they were trying to lay low.

Especially since Team Eight barely escaped their little run in with Gaara. They were scared that the sand ninja was coming back for them, however this chakra was much colder and darker than Gaara's. Kiba and Akamaru jumped on a low tree branch and began to sniff around.

"I can smell Peri's scent, but something's wrong. I can't smell Naruto and Sasuke's scent is different. But something's wrong. It's…colder and Akamaru doesn't like it. Looks like they're west of here." Kiba said.

"Sasuke! Is he okay? Is he hurt?!" the pink haired girl screeched shaking his shoulders

"L-Let go Sakura!" Kiba snapped (Man why does my teammate have to be a fangirl!)

"Where is Sasuke! Tell me right now!" Ino demanded shaking the Inuzuka's shoulder

"I picked up their scents west. About twenty miles from here." Kiba groaned.

Ino and Sakura dropped the poor boy and ran deeper in the woods frantically pushing each other as they tried to get to their crush first. "SASUKE!"

"Wait! Oh man those girls are such a drag, come on Choji!" Shikamaru said, dragging the Akimichi by the scarf.

Kiba, Hinata, and Shino ran in the same direction, surprisingly the Hyuga princess was running the fastest. The only ones that were left in the clearing were Neji, Tenten, and Lee. They have been observing the whole scene that took place in disbelief. They were surely a lively bunch that was for sure.

"Should we help them?" Tenten asked

"It's none of our concern, we need to have our two scrolls so we should head over to the tower-" the dark brown haired Hyuga sighed.

"PERI! Please do not worry my princess! I AM ON MY WAY!" Rock Lee declared running deep in the forest ignoring his teammates leaving them with no other choice than to follow him.

Peri was getting extremely worried about Sasuke. Naruto's fever had broken and was recovering, but Sasuke was getting a lot worse. And unfortunately, Peri was no medical ninja, she didn't know any medical ninjutsu to heal him. Even though she set out multiple traps to keep them safe and had Nebki do patrols around their camp, it won't last long. If another genin team showed up trying she couldn't win, not in her state.

And if she had to fight Orochimaru there was no way she could win or escape.

(We can't stay here anymore. I gotta get us out of here. We're pretty close to the tower, about a twenty minute walk and it's early morning and I can use the undergrowth near the river for cover and have Nebki to help out.) Peri analyzed.

Just then Peri and Nebki felt a presence behind them

"Fire Style: Phoenix Flower Jutsu!" she spat a volley of small fireballs in the growth of trees.

Three sound ninjas easily dodges the small fireballs circled around her. " You got good reflexes. I'm surprised you were able to hear us. It took us a while but we found you." a bandage boy chuckled.

"What do you want? We don't have a scroll so take your friends and leave!"

"Wake up Sasuke. We want to fight him." one of them said.

(They're from the Hidden Sound) she shivered trying to stay calm.

"Why? You've done enough with Orochimaru's curse mark Sasuke has been unconscious for days!" Peri snapped.

"Dosu! We didn't know Sasuke had received the curse mark already." the Sound girl said.

(They didn't know?) she said, confused

"Yes, that's true Kin, but orders are orders. We need to fight him and bring him to Orochimaru." another guy said.

"Wasn't talking to you Zaku!" Kin snapped

"Both of you stop. Now then princess, give us Sasuke. And you might want to just cooperate with us before things get ugly." Dosu demanded taking a step forward.

"That's not happening." Peri growled then smirked.

Right behind the three sound ninja a large explosion was heard. "Under your feet you!" Kin yelled, dodging a barrage a kunai and shuriken from the trees.

(That fire jutsu it was for us, but it was to ignite the trap!) Dosu analyzed.

"Slicing Sound Wave!" Zaku countered, extending his arms with his palms facing forward.

A blast of chakra shot out from the two small holes in his palms. It dissolved the kunai and paper

"W-What was that jutsu?" Peri gasped in pain.

Zaku smirked, holding up his hands. " Heh, I can turn my chakra into pressurized air currents much stronger than any wind style jutsu." he explained while making his way to the Uchiha.

(I won't let you!) Peri threw a shuriken at a tree

"What was that? You totally missed-" Zaku grinned

"Zaku and Kin watch out, it's another trap!" Dosu yelled.

Hundreds of kunai rained down at them at a pace so quickly it was even difficult for the sound ninjas to dodge all of them. A second trap was suddenly set off repeating the process, but this time it was paper bombs.

BOOM! BANG! BOOM!

( She created a trap within a trap. The first trap is a timer trap. The moment it goes off it automatically activates the second one after a certain amount of time.) Dosu analyzed.

(Can't afford this to be a long fight. I have to finish things fast!) Peri said kicking. Zaku in the stomach hitting the ground hard.

Seeing an opening, Peri lunged at him raising her fist, but was harshly kicked back down. Reacting fastly she flipped backwards on her feet, but not fast enough as Kin charged at her, raising fist, however, she was faster landing a strong kick to her side.

Nebki launched himself at Zaku's face, head butting back to the ground before releasing a blast of water from his mouth.

"Supersonic Slicing Sound Wave!"

"Nebki!" Peri cried while driving for the tanuki and rolled against the tree-her back slammed harshly against the tree making her gagged.

Zaku grabbed her by her neck with a kunai in his other hand.

"And now it's over." he grinned.

"LEAF HURRICANE!"

The sound ninja was thrown back and flew through the air while Rock Lee had Peri in his arms."Wha? Lee, what are you doing here?" Peri asked.

"I will always be here to protect you whenever you're in trouble. That is my will and I vow to protect you with my life my friend!" he declared, giving her a thumbs up.

Fun Fact: Rock Lee wants to fight Neji and is usually taking the chunin exams as training to beat him.

Rock Lee to the rescue! But will it be enough to stop Dosu, Kin, and Zaku? And will their allies get there in time to help them out? Stay tuned!

I looked over a few parts of the first five chapters like Peri's genjutsu and I have been working on the next three chapters so they will be coming out soon.
