Danny gulped. He tried not to look frightened; he tried not to end up attacking them all. If he did end up lashing out at them or state one of his usual cocky remarks, then he would end up dead. There was no where to escape and there was definitely no option to 'go ghost' and fly away as fast as he could. There was also no option to turn invisible – if he did, he would be slashed.

The raven-haired boy sighed. He lowered his arms which were raised previously from when he had turned around after hearing the swords unsheathe. 'What's the worst that could happen..?' Danny thought to himself as he nodded his head. "I'll go," he answered hesitantly.

The Soul Reapers grinned. They luckily didn't have to spill blood. Or ectoplasm, seen as though he was a ghost. "Follow us," Renji demanded as he turned around and lifted his sword so it was horizontally straight, digging it into the air with a clean slice as it seemed to disappear into nothingness. However, sudden a portal-like structure had managed to form. Danny observed as an intense light appeared, doors appeared from the immense light, opening to show more doors; this time they were circular. As the sets of doors opened, the red-haired Soul Reaper walked through, followed by Danny whom was being pushed and forced in by the other Death God, Rukia.

"Okay, okay. I'm going!" Danny yelled as he walked forward with a sword a few inches away from digging into his back. "Put that zanpakuto or whatever it's called back in its sheath – I'm not going to resist!" She didn't listen. Her job was to safely secure and subdue the strange source of spiritual pressure then bring it back for interrogation and 'harmless experiments' as the squad twelve Captain had said.

As the group of three, Danny, Rukia and Renji stepped out of the large portal structure which was behind them, they had entered an enormous city-like area with buildings that were limitlessly large! "We're here," Rukia said, her expression unchanging as she noticed the surprised look on Daniel's face. He was astounded by the immense area they had landed in.

He snapped out of his trance as he stopped examining the area. "Where exactly is here?" He asked, his eyebrows raising in question.

"The Seireitei, Soul Society."

"Like I have no idea where that is," he mumbled as they started to walk forwards. The gigantic city around him seemed to get bigger every time he took a step forward, it coming closer as he trailed along its contents. There were huge towers that loomed over the whole place, along with a large mountainous block of rock sat next to it. They were surrounded by sturdy walls that barricaded them in – and barricaded unwanted enemies out.

If the two Soul Reapers weren't there, he would be lost. The whole place seemed to be like a maze. Especially since everywhere he turned it got more and more confusing, though there were more Death Gods walking around in plain black shihakushos. He had seen a few wearing a white haori with people showing respect as they walked past them. Even though one of them was a short kid with silvery-white hair, people were still bowing their heads to him when they had sent messages to him.

"Who's this, punk?" A large, bulky man asked as he towered over the ghost boy and the two Lieutenants.

Snapping around, the Lieutenants bowed their heads for a moment before saying, "he's the source of the mysterious pressure. We had been sent to retrieve him, Captain."

"Heh, I think you should have killed him," the bulky man sneered and chuckled murderously. He had a devastating scar which trailed down one eye, with an eye-patch on the other. Black, spiky hair stuck up on its ends like knives as his grin was psychotic. His overall appearance and tone sent shivers down the spine of the halfa. "Whatever, I'm gonna' go cut something up. If you see Ichigo next, tell him I'm waitin' for him."

"We will, sir," they said as they continued down towards the barracks of squad one. "That was Captain Kenpachi Zaraki, the Captain of squad eleven. Don't get on his bad side or he will – without hesitation – cut you up."

"I'll try not to..."

"Head-Captain," Renji spoke out as both Rukia and Renji knelt on the floor in respect to the strongest member of the Thirteen Court Guard Squads. Danny stood up beside them in confusion as he looked at the old man who sat behind his desk with a stern expression.

'This guy is the boss of this place? He looks too old to even be mobile...' Danny thought to himself as he almost make a sly comment about the old man. The Head-Captain had a scar in the shape of a large 'X' running along his forehead with an endless, white beard that stretched on for miles; a moustache following in suit.

"What is it?" The Head-Captain demanded, thick, white eyebrows furrowing in question. "Is this the unusual anomaly Captain Kurotsuchi had identified?"

"Yes, Head-Captain. This is the boy," Rukia confirmed as she knelt on the ground, unmoving. The American's head moving back and forth between the speakers as his fingers were twiddling round in a ball. He was a little bit frightened of what was going to happen to him, although at the same time the raven-haired boy had no idea what was going to happen to him.

"Very well," he said as he turned his attention towards the boy for a moment. He pondered what was going to happen to him before speaking out, "I will have him locked up for now; I will get Captain Kurotsuchi to observe the child tomorrow. For now, return to your barracks and await further instruction from your Captains."

"Yes, Head-Captain," both of them said simultaneously as they flash-stepped out, wind emitting from the speed as they jetted out of the squad one barracks, returning to their own barracks.

"Hey, wrinkles you can't keep me locked up in here! I have a life of my own too!" Danny yelled out, furious of the Head-Captain's orders. However, as the insult of 'wrinkles' came out of the boy's mouth, the man's eyes turned fierce.

"Child, watch your mouth or I will have you executed!"

"Whatever," the boy trailed off as he remained silent, rolling his eyes as he remained in place as two Soul Reapers in plain black shihakushos came in through the doors.

They looked over towards the half-ghost child as they nodded. "You need to come with us," one of them said gesturing over towards the bewildered boy. One hand was on their zanpakuto in case of any rebellion. "Now," they ordered as they awaited for the teenager to move. As ordered, he moved over towards them. However, he was enraged. There was no way he was going to be locked up in a disgraceful dungeon. No chance of that happening.

"No way!" He roared as he yelled out his battle cry. "I'm going ghost!" He chanted as he lifted up his arms, the blue-white rings appearing, engulfing his body as he flew off into the air. Blindly shooting ecto-blasts at the Soul Reapers which created a large field of smoke – a great opportunity to run away from here! And so, he did. He flew off, blue lines from the immense speed trailing behind him as he darted away from the crazy place, hoping to get away from them.

The next day had arrived quickly as Ichigo shot out of bed, avoiding another annoying attack from his irritating, yet abusive father. Well, though it was abusive, it was more or less to 'prepare' his son for an attack. Or so it seemed...

"Go away, it's a Sunday," Ichigo called out to his dad who laid on the street in agony from having his kick missed; landing on the street with nothing more than a few broken bones. As usual. "I may as well go out with my friends for a while as I'm up," he said to himself as he sluggishly got himself ready, dressing up in a casual red shirt with khaki-coloured pants before draping a black jacket on top of the mentioned red shirt.

Walking down the stairs, he was greeted by his sweet sisters – or at least he was greeted by Yuzu, Karin just watching the T.V.

"Where are you going, Ichigo?" Yuzu asked as he flipped over a pancake for her and her sister's breakfast. "Aren't you going to eat first?" The light-brown-haired girl asked in a confused tone.

"No. But thanks anyway, Yuzu. I'm just going out."

Yuzu sighed. She didn't exactly like it when her brother just went out, giving her vague information of who or where he was going. "Just leave him," Karin said, one arm draped over the top of the sofa with one hand wrapped around a juice box. Emotionless face staring at a soccer match which played on the T.V. "You need to stop worrying so much about him, he is old enough now, you know."

"Yeah, but what if he could get attacked! What if he did d-"

"Yuzu, he's fine. Just stop over reacting."

Uryu, walking around the outside spotted Ichigo just walking out of his front door. Sighing as usual. He really needed to move out soon. "Hey, Ichigo!" Uryu called out as the Quincy waved towards the substitute.

Ichigo grunted in confusion as he turned around. Smiling as he noticed who it was. "Hey, Uryu," he greeted as he was glad to see a male who didn't oppose him. "You seen Rukia or Renji around lately?"

"Yeah, didn't you know?" The Ishida boy asked, raising and eyebrow, his glasses shining in the immense light from the dazzling sun.

"Didn't I know what?" Ichigo questioned as he walked across the road to where the raven-haired Quincy was, stopping in front of him. Though, both boys started to wander off next to each other.

"They took that new kid into the Soul Society yesterday, I thought you knew about that? Surely they had told you."

"No... did they tell you?"

"Not really, I just happened to walk by. I didn't want to interfere as it's their business; not mine."

"That's just annoying!" Ichigo said as he jetted off, waving good-bye towards the archer.

"Where are you going?!"

"To Urahara's! I need to go stop them before they execute him."

At that comment, Uryu ran off, his bangs of hair beside him being forced back due to the force of the wind's pressure as he ran. "I'm coming too then, wait for me you idiot!"
